MAGA Has Hantavirus MELTDOWN As Trump Causes PANIC

0:01 There's a global health issue happening right now that is very much being

0:05 covered by the news and MAGA's immediate instinct is to call it fake.

0:09 Is to call it a hoax manufactured to target Donald Trump.

0:13 Of course, we're all thinking about hantavirus right now and let

0:16 me preface this by saying we really shouldn't be all that worried.

0:19 There's no threat of a pandemic which I'm going to talk about in just a moment,

0:22 but it's something that's in the news because of this cruise ship that departed

0:25 from Argentina and has had some people on board infected with the virus.

0:29 But instead of engaging in a factual

0:31 conversation about what we're talking about here,

0:33 MAGA is automatically saying, "Oh, no, no.

0:36 No, no, no.

0:37 It's fake." You're looking at one on your screen right now.

0:39 A popular MAGA account with over 2 million followers who's

0:42 somehow influencing public discourse on this claiming it is fake.

0:46 Now, before we look at some of the reactions from MAGA influencers,

0:50 even MAGA members of Congress, former members of Congress as well,

0:53 let's just start here with a couple of updates

0:56 of where we are with hantavirus because there's so much misinformation.

1:00 There are people fearmongering you into making you think,

1:02 "Oh my god, everything's going to collapse.

1:04 We're all going to die." No.

1:05 Let's just talk about the facts.

1:07 So, this is a shock image that we got revolving the hantavirus.

1:11 Somebody being evacuated from the ship

1:13 into a an ambulance to be treated for the virus.

1:17 This is from Midas Touch.

1:18 A suspected hantavirus patient is photographed being evacuated from the cruise

1:22 ship in full head-to-toe protective gear on a gurney.

1:26 Three people, including two who are seriously ill,

1:28 were removed from the ship which is anchored off Cape Verde so they can

1:32 receive medical care in the Netherlands amid

1:34 the deadly outbreak according to the WHO.

1:36 Hantavirus is rare, but potentially a fatal virus

1:40 that typically spreads to humans through contact with infected rodents,

1:44 especially through their urine, droppings, or saliva,

1:46 which I imagine many people watching this are not going near.

1:49 So, keep that in mind as well.

1:51 Human-to-human transmission is considered extremely uncommon and has

1:54 only been documented in limited strains of the virus,

1:57 making reports of possible person-to-person

1:59 spread especially alarming and unusual.

2:02 But the WHO is already on this.

2:04 They said, "While this is a serious incident,

2:05 the WHO has assessed the public risk as low." Given everything we just read,

2:10 that human-to-human transmission is rare,

2:12 there doesn't seem to be a threat of a major outbreak.

2:15 They also added, "Um this is not the coronavirus.

2:18 This is very different.

2:19 We know this virus.

2:20 This is not the start of a COVID pandemic." And that's a major distinction here,

2:23 which is you know, COVID was a novel virus.

2:26 We had never seen that before, never studied it before.

2:29 We know hantavirus.

2:30 It's been around.

2:31 We've studied it.

2:31 People have died from it previously.

2:33 And so we have a major head start on this.

2:35 We know exactly how it operates.

2:37 And it is not as as infectious as COVID.

2:40 So a couple of things [snorts] to maybe lower the temperature.

2:42 I'm seeing a lot of people very concerned online.

2:45 And in addition to this, the CDC said, "And this is from the United States CDC,

2:49 so obviously Trump has very much politicized it." But they've

2:52 added that hantavirus is not spread by people without symptoms.

2:55 Transmission requires close contact.

2:57 And the risk to the American public is very low.

2:59 I I I mean I imagine most of us want

3:01 to listen to the WHO as opposed to Donald Trump's CDC,

3:04 but thought I would throw it in there as well.

3:06 Now, this is from the New York Times, just a brief uh a brief overview.

3:10 Global health officials are racing to track the hantavirus,

3:13 but predict a limited outbreak.

3:15 They write, "Health officials in a growing list of countries

3:18 scrambled on Thursday to track people connected to this outbreak.

3:21 The WHO also predicted a limited spread.

3:24 This is not COVID as they said.

3:25 This is not the influenza.

3:26 This spreads very differently.

3:28 Human-to-human transmission of the hantavirus is rare.

3:30 The Andes strain of the hantavirus,

3:32 which has been confirmed in cases tied to the cruise ship,

3:35 is the only known one to spread from human to human,

3:38 but it is transmitted primarily through close personal contact." They said,

3:42 "Of course, this is not the start of an epidemic.

3:44 This is not the start of a pandemic." Since April 11th,

3:46 three passengers have died, and at least five other people have been sickened

3:49 after showing symptoms of the hantavirus, according to WHO.

3:53 People in several countries are now being tested

3:55 or monitored after possibly being in contact with the virus.

3:58 Three people in the Netherlands who developed symptoms after coming in contact

4:02 with an infected person on a plane who were tested for the virus,

4:05 two of the results came back negative and the third was still being analyzed.

4:08 So, a lot of information here,

4:10 but for the most part, nothing major to worry about.

4:13 So, I just wanted to start the video before we look at some

4:15 of these MAGA reactions with just a grounding of this is the facts,

4:19 this is what we know.

4:21 If you're in the United States and you're hobbled

4:24 up at home worried about going outside and getting hantavirus,

4:26 as of now, you shouldn't be concerned.

4:29 Things can change, but as of now, you shouldn't be concerned.

4:31 MAGA, on the other hand, well, they are spiraling.

4:35 They're spiraling right now.

4:37 It is remarkable to see how crazy these people are and I just have to say again,

4:42 they are the some of these people that we're talking about right here,

4:44 we're going to look at, are some of the dumbest

4:46 people you will ever meet in your entire life.

4:49 We have the displeasure of hearing from them

4:52 in pub in political discourse and quite frankly,

4:55 I am sick of sharing the public discourse,

4:58 the political discourse with people who have

5:00 absolutely no idea what they're talking about.

5:02 I'm not a doctor, that's why I rely on the WHO,

5:05 that's why I rely on the New York Times

5:06 who are reporting on this stuff to get the information,

5:08 but people like Cat Turd, who genuinely, if you can even believe it,

5:13 a major MAGA account, 4 million followers for this loser,

5:18 is out here saying, "The climate hoax,

5:20 the COVID hoax and now the hantavirus hoax.

5:22 It's all the exact same people pushing them,

5:25 it's all a lie." The Oh my god, they're claiming it's a lie.

5:29 So, to be clear, this photo that we just looked

5:32 at, a of one of many different examples as part of the story,

5:36 they're claiming is fake, that this is not real.

5:39 That this is not actually happening.

5:41 And other accounts have gone so far as to say,

5:44 "Well, actually, the virus is not fake because it's being used,

5:48 or excuse me, the virus isn't real

5:49 because it's being used to target Donald Trump.

5:51 Maga voice, another popular Maga account with over 1.4 million followers, says,

5:55 "Strange how viruses only occur when Donald Trump is in office and during

5:59 elections." This is maybe the dumbest thing I've read ever in my entire life.

6:03 And that's saying a lot because we read

6:05 Trump Truth Social posts on the show quite often.

6:07 This is so incredibly dumb.

6:09 Because I guess they're arguing that every virus

6:12 we've discovered ever has been discovered under Donald Trump.

6:16 So, viruses weren't a thing prior to 2017 and they weren't a thing prior to now.

6:20 At least in the Biden years or the Obama years.

6:22 The dumbest thing I've ever read in my entire life.

6:24 Utterly stupid.

6:25 But they're claiming that it's being used against Donald Trump, that it's fake.

6:29 That it's not real.

6:30 I am baffled at the level of idiocy in our public discourse.

6:35 And you maybe you're saying, "Harry, you're being a little brash today,

6:39 a little brazen, a little forward." Yes, because I'm sick of this.

6:43 I'm sick of this.

6:44 I'm sick of Maga people being involved in this conversation,

6:47 in any conversation, and straight-up lying about it.

6:49 Saying that actually it's fake, it's being manufactured to target Donald Trump.

6:54 Just think about what they're claiming here.

6:55 I mean, they're saying that the cruise ship is fake,

6:57 the virus is fake, the doctors are fake,

6:59 the WHO is fake, the evacuations are fake,

7:02 the tests are fake, the illness is fake.

7:04 All of it is fake.

7:06 And it's all fake to target Donald Trump.

7:08 That is so stupid.

7:10 Here's another one which I thought was just out

7:13 of my I I mean, you have to see it.

7:15 Savannah Hernandez, a Maga commentator, said,

7:18 "I would rather die from Hanta virus than listen

7:21 to anything any government official has to say about a virus

7:23 ever again." And this is in response to Matt Walsh

7:26 saying that medical officials have

7:27 completely lost their credibility after COVID.

7:30 They are living in a different universe of insanity,

7:32 so it's it's difficult to even engage with these arguments that they're making.

7:36 But this one from Savan- Savannah Hernandez is especially stupid.

7:40 What you want to You want to die to own the libs?

7:43 You want to die to own the medical professionals who know more than you?

7:46 Are you kidding me?

7:47 Really?

7:48 That's the position?

7:49 Yeah, I'm going to die to own the liberals.

7:51 Okay.

7:52 Your life, you do you.

7:54 I I we can't stop you.

7:55 If you would rather something like this in the event

7:57 that hantavirus because becomes something that is not expected to be.

8:02 that's the way you want to live your life, who am I to stop you?

8:15 I mean, you know, we've talked about Marjorie Taylor Greene on the show,

8:18 of course, because of her opposition to Donald Trump,

8:21 the beef that they now have.

8:24 [sighs and gasps] But she's back.

8:25 She's back to being crazy or let me rephrase.

8:27 She's not back to being crazy.

8:28 The crazy has always been there.

8:29 It's never left.

8:31 She's not like, you know, suddenly a liberal who has seen the light.

8:34 She's always been crazy.

8:35 She just happens to be crazy in a different way that Donald Trump is crazy,

8:39 which pushes them against each other.

8:40 She said, "I actually texted her today

8:42 and asked what we can treat hantavirus with.

8:44 I'm so glad she posted it.

8:45 Ivermectin." Oh my god.

8:48 We're doing this again.

8:49 We're doing this again.

8:50 They want to do this again.

8:52 Ivermectin.

8:54 I am baffled that these people who are not doctors think

8:57 that for some reason ivermectin is like a one-stop shop solution to everything.

9:03 If you get sick, oh, ivermectin.

9:05 That's the way to go.

9:06 What is wrong with them?

9:08 Why have they settled on this?

9:09 Maybe there are doctors in the comments who can tell me like,

9:11 why is MAGA specifically obsessed with ivermectin?

9:14 They think it's like the solution to everything.

9:16 She also said, "Also vitamin D and zinc.

9:18 Those of us who refuse to lockdown, mask up,

9:20 and get vaxed took the good old horse paste and also developed natural immunity.

9:24 No, many of those people who went that route are dead.

9:27 I'm not and that's not me being rude.

9:29 That's just the truth.

9:29 A lot of these people who thought, "I'm just going to skip the vaccine.

9:32 I'm not going to take any health measures." are are dead.

9:36 So, look, this is where we are.

9:42 or just saying it's fake like these losers have been as we saw earlier,

9:45 but this is the general vibe on social media right now if

9:53 this to you that they would have claimed it's fake,
