0:39 And what is your favorite thing to learn about right now?
0:41 My favorite thing to learn about now is astronomy.
0:46 Astronomy?
0:45 Because space never ever [screaming] ends.
0:48 How is that possible?
0:51 Because it just is.
0:53 It just is.
0:53 It just goes on forever and ever.
0:55 I don't even understand it myself.

1:00 Yeah.
1:00 So, you like all kinds of science.

1:19 That's a really clever thing cuz all
1:21 the leaves and all the trees are different, right?

1:23 Yes.
1:24 Okay.
1:24 And uh you like chemistry.
1:28 Yes.
1:27 Yes.
1:27 What is your favorite element?
1:29 My favorite element is xenon because it starts with an X.
1:32 Like my name is Xander.
1:35 Yes.
1:35 Well, I can see why you'd like that.
1:37 And And what kind of element is that?
1:40 Um it's a noble gas.
1:42 A noble gas.
1:43 Are there other kinds of gases that are not noble?
1:47 There are other types of gases, but not cold gases.
1:51 I see.
1:51 Okay.
1:52 I don't know what that means.
1:53 Okay.
1:53 I'm one of the I'm in over my head already.
1:57 Why would I do a follow-up question?
1:59 Um, okay.
2:01 I'm going to quiz you.
2:02 Okay.
2:03 How many moons does Mercury have?
2:07 None.
2:07 Because it's too close to the sun.
2:09 The sun will just suck it up.
2:13 Oh.
2:12 With a gravitational force.
2:15 Yes.
2:15 Um, how many galaxies can you name?
2:19 Well, I can name lots,
2:22 but really in real life there's about 100 I mean 120 um mill I mean billion
2:31 there's 120 billion galaxies.
2:34 Isn't that incredible?
2:35 Yes.
2:35 So, here are a few.
2:36 The Milky Way is my favorite because has like only one place on that life.
2:43 Earth.
2:46 Yeah.
2:46 The one that we live on.
2:47 Yeah.
2:47 the one we live on.
2:48 Yes, I know that one.

3:52 Then the core gets hot.
3:56 Then this turns into a protoar.
3:58 A protoar doesn't have much size or mass to create nuclear fusion.
4:05 So then it's a um a yellow dwarf.
4:11 A yellow dwarf does have enough mass to create nuclear fusion.
4:18 Then a subgiant, a subgiant is like a mixture
4:23 between a yellow dwarf and a red giant.
4:25 The red giant's next stage.
4:28 And then it turns into a red giant.
4:32 A red giant.
4:33 So if you place the red giant um in our solar system instead of our sun,
4:39 well our sun will in like a billion years or so,
4:43 our sun will and it will suck up all the planets to Mars, all the inner planets.
4:50 We might have live on Jupiter.
4:54 [laughter] And also, um, a red giant is very, very big.
5:04 And it'll probably suck up some of the asteroids, too.
5:09 [cheering and applause] It would suck up um
5:11 like probably a thousand asteroids from the asteroid belt.
5:15 Twitch, you got to hear this.
5:16 START OVER.

5:30 and then it starts to rotate.
5:34 Then [cheering] the forward,
5:40 right?
5:39 Then it turns into a produce star, right?
5:44 A proar doesn't have enough mass or even die to create here.
5:51 And then or a yellow doors.
5:53 A yellow dwarf
5:57 right
5:56 is um well a yellow dorm does have
5:59 doesn't have much mass
6:00 to [laughter] create nuclear fusion.
6:03 [applause]
6:04 Then it turns into a um sub giant.
6:08 Uhhuh.
