0:34 This is the JP Morgan employee who filed

0:37 a sexual assault lawsuit against his female superior.

0:40 And how 24 hours later everything fell apart.

1:13 All right, so this insane story was originally published by the Daily Male.

1:18 I think it came out on Thursday or Friday.

1:20 And as I said, a male banker accused one of the female

1:23 executives at JP Morgan of sexual assault and harassment and of drugging him.

1:28 I mean, it's just insane.

1:29 So let me read you these allegations because again, you're unbridled absurdity.

1:32 So let me just read you some of these allegations.

1:34 Alright, so daily male rights in early May, 2024,

1:38 DOE alleges that Haie, that's the last name of this associate,

1:41 dropped her pen on the floor next to his desk

1:43 and while bending over to pick it up, rubbed his leg and squeezed his calf.

1:47 I mean, what is this like legally Blonde Bend and snapped?

1:50 That's what we're seeing here.

1:51 He claims that she then remarked, oh, did you play basketball in college?

1:54 I love basketball players.

1:56 They get me so wet right later that may do

1:58 said in the complaint that Hani invited him out for drinks,

2:01 but he declined in response.

2:03 She is alleged to have said, if you don't f me soon, I am going to ruin you.

2:07 Never forget I f-ing own you Twice.

2:10 Do claims that Hajj Dini propositioned him for oral sex

2:13 in the office on one occasion asking birthday BJ for the brown boy,

2:17 my little brown boy.

2:18 I mean, again, just it's, this is freaky.

2:20 I should have said if you were discretion, but this is just weird.

2:23 While do complains that he continued to resist her advances,

2:25 Hajj Dini allegedly threatened professional retribution telling him

2:28 that if he wanted to be promoted to executive director,

2:30 he would need to start pleasing her.

2:32 According to the lawsuit, we are going to need to earn it.

2:35 My little Arab boy toy do alleges that she told him during

2:38 a work social event at her private members club during the same event,

2:41 he claims that she repeatedly groped his groin

2:43 under the table and spat on her hands, running them over his neck and head.

2:48 He also claimed that Heini admitted to drugging him

2:51 with a date rape drug and other drugs without his knowledge.

2:53 Apparently Viagra was one of the drugs.

2:55 He apparently said, I'm very uncomfortable.

2:57 Please Lorna, that's her first name, Lorna Egine.

2:59 But she allegedly laughed before making a racist remark that at least

3:03 his genitals don't taste like curry according to the complaints.

3:07 Now, all of that is on top of her allegedly calling his wife a fish faced

3:12 woman with smaller boobs than her, which is what I read to you at the beginning.

3:15 So again, this is just like,

3:17 it is insane allegation after insane allegation like,

3:21 is this real or is this a scene out

3:23 of the most insane porno you could ever concoct in your mind?

3:27 Basically that is what people on the internet were trying to decipher.

3:30 So this was a lawsuit, it is a civil suit.

3:32 It was filed anonymously by a John Doe, but he did name his alleged abuser.

3:36 So that would be 37-year-old Lorna Huie,

3:38 who is in fact an executive director at JP Morgan.

3:41 People were very quick to find her online

3:43 on LinkedIn and this is her right here.

3:45 Now, obviously the moment that this story broke on daily mail,

3:49 the internet was set,

3:50 ablaze the story got more than 50 million impressions on just their post alone.

3:54 The memes, unfortunately for Lorna were immediate.

3:58 Like somebody said, I bet your little Asian

4:00 fish head wife does not have these cannons.

4:02 I mean it's like the military version

4:04 of Katy Perry in her California girls music video.

4:06 Somebody else said, oh, I can't believe this.

4:08 Also me filling out my application to JP Morgan.

4:11 Somebody else said, POV, you're a junior banker at JP Morgan

4:13 and your MD wants to have a performance chat.

4:16 Another person said, Claude, find me a junior analyst role at JP Morgan,

4:19 tailor my resume to fit the role.

4:21 Make no mistake.

4:21 Do you hear me?

4:22 Do you hear me?

4:23 It's like all of these men are like, this sounds great, dude.

4:25 I don't know why you're complaining.

4:27 This sounds delightful.

4:28 Another person, this was actually the top comment under the Daily Mail article,

4:32 again like the 50 million impression post, but he said, wish me luck.

4:34 And then posted a screenshot of somebody applying to a job at JP Morgan.

4:38 All right, so all of this chaos online, it went on for about 24 hours.

4:42 It seemed like everyone was just focused

4:44 on the absurdity of the story and the memes.

4:46 It could not even get into the nitty gritty because it was so insane.

4:49 But it's important to remember that there is

4:51 a real person who is facing these accusations.

4:53 I mean her life, her relationships,

4:55 her reputation, her career, everything is at stake.

4:57 Now, JP Morgan is involved.

4:58 Obviously this is a huge financial company.

5:01 They're now reeling from the most viral story of probably the year thus far.

5:04 So there are real people that are dealing with this, all memes aside.

5:08 And so 24 hours later, this is really when things start to take a turn.

5:11 So Lorna maintained her innocence and she released

5:13 a statement to the New York Post through her attorney.

5:15 So through her lawyer, she said, Lorna categorically denies the allegations.

5:19 She never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with this individual of any kind,

5:22 and she has never even been to the location

5:24 where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place.

5:27 So that would be this member's only club where allegedly she

5:30 was groping him and spitting on her hands, whatever he said.

5:33 For a lot of people on the internet from the jump,

5:35 they were just not buying the story again because of how insane

5:38 it sounded like this guy posted the day that the story came out,

5:41 he said, I would wager any amount of money that this JP Morgan woman is

5:44 a thousand percent innocent and now she's having

5:46 her life ruined by some failed banker turned scammer.

5:49 And I mean like to me as I was reading this story,

5:51 I did not think it was real from the jump.

5:53 I was like, okay, this is just so crazy.

5:54 But also Brett, you know, you've done so many of these sexual pervert episodes,

5:58 maybe you should believe that it's real, but it was again,

6:01 it was just so out of pocket and so insane.

6:03 And also no woman refers to her boobs as cannons like.

6:07 So something smelled fishy, pun very obviously intended fish head,

6:12 but it turns out that it was allegedly,

6:14 not allegedly, but allegedly all fabricated.

6:17 And the story all started to fall apart when

6:19 the New York Post released their follow-up article about the story.

6:23 So they did some investigating and they found Mr.

6:26 John Doe and his name is Chiu.

6:29 Hopefully I'm saying that right, chiru Rona.

6:31 I'm gonna call him Rona for the sake

6:33 of my own sanity for the rest of this episode.

6:35 But here he is, right there, Mr.

6:37 Rona, Mr.

6:38 Little sex slave.

6:39 Now somebody commented and said somebody

6:41 smashed his face with an Encyclopaedia Britannica,

6:44 which honestly I would've never thought about

6:45 that, but that is the greatest way to describe this photo.

6:47 Now here is where his story really starts to get muddled.

6:51 So Rona, even though he is alleging that this woman was his boss,

6:55 that she was holding promotions above him, that he felt like he had to partake

6:59 in this because it was his superior, allegedly.

7:01 According to JP Morgan in New York post investigation,

7:04 Rona did not even work under Lorna, the woman in question.

7:08 So there is no way that she could have held this supposed bonus over his head.

7:13 So Lauren up my girl, I'm just saying you are going to need a good

8:34 So in addition to this really important fact that she was not even his boss,

8:39 the internet also outed him for working on this story for the last year,

8:44 trying to get it right just before he filed the lawsuit.

8:48 So look at this, Andrew Polk on X, he says,

8:50 it looks like this guy asked a random scam

8:53 chatbot legal site about his baseless claim 10 months ago.

8:56 Ronna gave his name, email address and phone number to a site for legal

9:00 advice that specifically says it is not legal advice,

9:02 which then posted their full conversation.

9:05 I mean like, okay, so first of all,

9:06 doing that in and of itself is just plain retarded.

9:09 Like especially if you are going to massage and edit your story after the fact,

9:13 after posting it in a public legal forum,

9:16 the intelligent thing to do is not to adapt the story after the fact.

9:19 And yet that is what our friend Mr.

9:21 Rana did because look at this, in this conversation, first of all,

9:24 he says that this awful abuse, harassment,

9:27 drugging took place at Morgan Stanley, not JP Morgan.

9:30 You can see that in the headline right there.

9:32 I was raped, sexually assaulted, harassed,

9:35 and forced to do drugs by my former boss at Morgan Stanley.

9:38 So, you know, let, let's just, you know, give him the benefit of the doubt.

9:40 Maybe he didn't want to give all of the information he was, you know,

9:44 kind of covering his trail while he knowingly posted on a public law chat about,

9:47 got it, okay, maybe, maybe, maybe we can give him that benefit of the doubt.

9:51 But then even that theory falls apart because it still gets better.

9:55 So this Temu LegalZoom Ask Lawyer

9:58 chatbot also publicised the actual conversation

10:01 that he then had with the actual maybe a real attorney online.

10:05 And there is an interesting detail that seems

10:08 awry about this whole story and whole conversation.

10:10 So listen to this.

10:12 So the Joyce law expert reaches out to him and says,

10:15 hello, I am an attorney with just answer.

10:16 I understand that you have some serious concerns

10:18 regarding your former boss, I'm here to help.

10:19 And the customer, Mr.

10:21 Rona, he replies and says, I was sexually assaulted and harassed by my former

10:25 boss and he even forced me to do drugs.

10:28 It has been really hard to deal with the law.

10:30 Exer says, if you reported this to the police, he goes on.

10:32 No, I have not.

10:33 He threatened me while I was living in this.

10:35 He made me really scared.

10:36 I was working on blank.

10:37 It's a small world there.

10:38 I moved a blank for this job.

10:39 And when he found out I was looking

10:40 to transfer to another group, he became hostile.

10:43 And then he said that he would ruin my career if I didn't comply.

10:46 I signed this agreement,

10:48 he started spreading lies about me claiming that I made everything up.

10:50 And then he goes on at the end,

10:51 he said, I've been struggling mentally since then.

10:53 He told everybody a false narrative about me, which made it even harder.

10:56 He, he, he, he did all of this.

10:59 He my male boss.

11:00 And again, I'm trying to be fair.

11:03 So I'm looking at this like the first line that I read,

11:05 I was like, okay, maybe it's a slipup, maybe it was a little typo.

11:07 That's not a typo.

11:08 If you're answering eight questions to an attorney

11:10 that you're allegedly trying to have

11:13 help you and you're talking about this male boss that is you changing the story.

11:17 So this was not some typo slipup, this alleged abuser was a man in his mind

11:22 10 months ago until he thought maybe it

11:24 would be better for the story for the lawsuit

11:27 if his alleged sex master was a woman.

11:30 And so after talking to an attorney on a public legal advice forum,

11:35 he decided to change the story Again,

11:36 it is just retarded, I guess when he changed his narrative,

11:40 decided that the abuser needed to be a woman,

11:41 poor Lorna got picked out of the JP Morgan executive

11:45 lineup and Rona made himself into a public laughing stock,

11:48 which obviously you guys are seeing online right now.

11:51 But the interesting thing is Rona is not the only one,

11:54 the only one who has been made

11:55 into a laughing stock because apparently this has also been

11:58 a big hit to the Indian community because obviously

12:01 everyone has been making the Indian scammer jokes, obviously.

12:04 I mean, who can blame people?

12:06 This is like the, the lowest hanging fruit possible on the internet.

12:09 And like somebody posted and said,

12:10 an incompetent Indian man would invent a story of a sex

12:13 maniac to harm a woman and pocket millions of dollars.

12:15 I can't believe it.

12:17 Like I'm, I'm anticipating some email like I'm an Indian prince.

12:20 This woman has taken everything from me.

12:22 Please, please gimme your credit card information.

12:24 That's gonna be his next thing.

12:25 Somebody else said.

12:26 Turns out this was just an Indian guy trying to scam because he got fired.

12:29 He, yikes, another person said, still one of my favourite stories of the year.

12:31 And the fact that it is going to likely end with an Indian

12:34 scammer getting sued into oblivion only makes it better in my opinion.

12:37 My friend Conman Lee says they just can't help themselves.

12:39 They just have to scam.

12:41 And guys, guess who is triggered?

12:42 Guess who is triggered the Indian community?

12:44 Because apparently, apparently he's not Indian.

12:47 It's a technicality.

12:48 Apparently Mr.

12:48 John Doe, Mr.

12:49 Rona is Nepali not Indian.

12:52 Like somebody commented and said Chi Irana,

12:54 the man in the JP Morgan viral story is from Nepal.

12:57 But as expected the internet has launched a racist attack on Indians,

13:00 assuming that Rona is from India.

13:02 And I hate to say, but this comment made me chuckle more than it should.

13:05 Somebody said both of you to think

13:06 that people care about the differences between India,

13:08 Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

13:10 They're just meaning they don't really care about the technicalities,

13:12 they're just making memes stride to go viral.

13:14 But listen, like I'm not even hating here because

13:16 you all want us to be clear that you know,

13:18 the one time the scammer is not Indian,

13:19 you wanna make sure that does not get confused.

13:22 I get it.

13:22 I would too.

15:04 Now at this point, based on everything we know,

15:06 the only thing that could really help legitimise Ron's story is

15:10 that according to the New York Post in their follow-up article,

15:12 he did file an HR complaint with JP Morgan a year ago.

15:16 So according to their article they wrote, he filed an internal complaint in May

15:20 of 2025 alleging race and gender-based harassment and abuse

15:23 of power before trying to negotiate a payoff

15:25 that ran into millions to leave the company sources set.

15:28 But here's the thing, JP Morgan's investigation,

15:31 once he launched that complaint, they found no evidence.

15:33 So JP Morgan strongly denied all of the claims.

15:36 A bank spokesperson who refused to be drawn out on the identity of doe

15:39 said a thorough internal probe by the bank's HR department and in-house lawyers,

15:42 which included a review of team phone records and emails,

15:45 found no evidence to support them following an investigation.

15:48 We don't believe there's any merit to these claims.

15:50 While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, including Lorna,

15:53 apparently the complainant refused to participate

15:55 and has declined to provide facts.

15:56 It would be central to support his allegations, which is ironic.

15:59 I might add, because remember in the Tim u legal zoom conversation,

16:02 he said he had ample evidence, we can put that on the screen here.

16:06 He recorded all the phone calls,

16:07 he has Apple evidence to support this abuse at the hands of his male boss.

16:13 Got it?

16:13 Anyway, basically what I'm trying to say here is that unless

16:16 Rona can provide that evidence in the court of public opinion,

16:20 it has now been decided that he fabricated the entire story.

16:23 That everything was just made up.

16:24 I mean, he premeditated it on team legal Zoom.

16:27 The facts changed.

16:28 He massaged the story to make it more interesting.

16:31 He then filed a civil lawsuit instead of a criminal lawsuit because allegedly,

16:34 apparently, apparently allegedly he just was after a payday from JP Morgan.

16:38 And when that internal complaint did not work, he took it to court a year later.

16:41 Now, interestingly, on top of all of this, he and his team

16:44 have now apparently withdrawn the suit to work on some corrections.

16:48 As you can see here, they're, they're just gonna adapt it.

16:50 Once again, maybe massage the story.

16:52 Maybe he has finally remembered he's come to and realised

16:54 that his abuser was actually a man, sorry, had to.

16:57 Anyway, as I watched all of this transpire over the last four days,

17:00 I will say I was very impressed with the way

17:03 that the internet kept a level head throughout this entire story.

17:05 Like yes, the memes were going crazy, this poor woman, Lorna,

17:08 was not really being mocked, but she was like in the centre of this joke.

17:11 But all of that uproar side people were relatively

17:14 rational and they're overwhelmingly now supporting the JP Morgan executive.

17:17 And you guys probably know where I'm going with this.

17:19 But this is so unlike everything that we

17:21 as a society experienced with the Me Too movement, where men, you know,

17:24 were found guilty based on social media posts and vibes alone.

17:28 And even after their innocence could have been proven guilty,

17:30 their reputations were still destroyed.

17:32 They could not rebuild their careers like they were done for where

17:34 the women in those stories were still hailed as raves survivors empowerments,

17:38 even if we now know that their stories did not hold water in the first place.

17:42 So this really just feels like a ship.

17:44 And so I guess my question is that I've been trying to think through is,

17:46 is this different response because the culture has shifted a bit,

17:50 thanks to the Amber, her Johnny Depp trial,

17:52 thanks to Blake Lively and Jess Baldoni,

17:54 these huge cases that have completely thwarted the Me Too movement.

17:57 Everything we now know about Harvey Weinstein

17:59 and the women who were raped by him,

18:01 but then kept coming back for years and years and emailing him,

18:04 asking for sport, all of these things.

18:05 Like because of that, have we all kind of shifted back to reality

18:09 and common sense or, or, and this is I guess less fortunate,

18:13 but is it because the accused victim was a woman and not

18:16 a man and so she gets more benefit than an accused man would?

18:20 And I think it probably is a little bit of both.

18:22 The other thing that I wanna say is that when

18:24 I was reading all of the comments post fabrication,

18:26 alleged fabrication information,

18:28 I honestly winced every time that I opened up a comment section.

18:31 'cause I was expecting to see so many comments from people saying,

18:34 you know, who cares about the woman if it's fake or not?

18:36 This is karma.

18:37 Women deserve to be falsely accused.

18:39 It's your time to be falsely accused.

18:41 Like whatever.

18:41 Like I was coming up with just the worst,

18:43 most atrocious anti-woman comments possible.

18:46 And I did not see a single one like, can we have a round of applause?

18:50 Before the internet, I did not see a single one.

18:52 It was in fact quite the contrary.

18:54 Like somebody said, she's a dime an earner.

18:56 She's probably brilliant.

18:56 It sounds like she is well liked too.

18:58 She's certainly not going to have a problem finding a partner.

19:00 They just might have some weird requests.

19:02 Now that being said,

19:03 she should still sue him into financial ruin for being a scammer.

19:05 Another guy said, I mean, all I can say she will be all right.

19:08 Having said that, I would love to see this scumbag be put in jail.

19:11 Another guy said, you know, I felt the same way.

19:13 Brief shock at the absurdity of it and then realising,

19:15 wait, this is not an onion article.

19:16 This is real life.

19:17 I feel terrible for her though, but I'm hoping that she can clear her name

19:20 and find a way to have a laugh about it.

19:21 Another person said, seeing an innocent person's reputation get drug through

19:24 the mud by reporters and social media always sucks.

19:26 You can never underestimate a low performers

19:28 take some scalps on the way out mentality.

19:30 And I hate, like, I hate to say

19:32 this, but I genuinely was shocked to read comments like that.

19:35 And that is just a few of thousands.

19:37 Like I think I'm so used to seeing

19:39 this like seething disgusting underbelly of the internet,

19:42 the hatred between the genders,

19:43 which obviously we've talked a lot about on the show.

19:45 And so this was a really nice reminder through a very insane and absurd story.

19:49 But it was a nice reminder that that is

19:52 not always real life and that there are great,

19:54 normal, good, not chronically online,

19:57 not black pilled people, that they still exist.

19:59 They actually have normal, healthy,

20:01 empathetic, nuanced reactions to complex situations.

20:04 Like something can be objectively absurd and funny and also be
