OMG: Trump LETS IT SLIP During DISASTER Presser

OMG: Trump LETS IT SLIP During DISASTER Presser

Harry Sisson

0:00 Well, folks, this surprise press conference that Donald

0:02 Trump had inside the reflecting pool in Washington, DC.

0:06 I'm not joking.

0:06 He was actually inside of the pool while speaking

0:09 to reporters certainly did not go to plan for him.

0:12 He ranted about a variety of topics,

0:14 none of which instills confidence in the American people,

0:17 such as the Iran War, the Haunt, and more.

0:19 He even accidentally let it slip and called a woman reporter a under his breath.

0:26 He was caught on camera, which we will talk about in this video as well.

0:29 I will show you the clip.

0:31 Not a good moment for Donald Trump.

0:34 Just more incoherence from him,

0:35 which I would once again argue is an example of his rapid decline.

0:40 But let's just start here with the first clip.

0:42 So, first of all, I do want to show

0:44 you that it was inside the reflecting pool in DC.

0:47 This is from Steven Chung, one of Donald Trump's senior adviserss.

0:50 He is one of the most difficult people to look at when you see him in person.

0:54 This is inside the reflecting pool.

0:56 You can see all the way in the background is Capitol Hill.

0:58 There's the Washington Monument.

0:59 Behind the camera is the Lincoln Memorial.

1:02 And the pool has been entirely drained because

1:04 for some reason Donald Trump is spending taxpayer dollars,

1:08 your taxpayer dollars, on repainting the reflecting pool because

1:12 that's the most important thing, right?

1:13 Not like people need healthcare or the economy sucks or we're

1:16 in the middle of a war or anything like that.

1:18 It's the reflecting pool that's the most important.

1:20 And so the first question that Donald Trump

1:22 was asked is actually about the HANA virus, which is very much in the news.

1:25 We talked about it on the show today.

1:27 And when I said that he wasn't instilling confidence in the American people,

1:31 this is what I was kind of referencing.

1:32 It kind of gives me flashbacks to 2020 with co.

1:36 So just take a look at this back and forth with this reporter.

1:39 I'm also with ABC News.

1:40 Can I ask you to virus?

1:42 Have you been briefed on the virus?

1:45 Can you tell us what you learned in these briefings?

1:46 Well, I think you're going to be told everything and you already have.

1:50 Uh, it's very much, we hope, under control.

1:54 It was the ship and I think we're going to make a full report about it tomorrow.

1:58 We have a lot of people, a lot of great people are studying it.

2:02 It should be fine.

2:03 Should Americans should Americans be concerned that it's

2:05 going to spread and how are you?

2:07 I mean, I hope not.

2:08 We'll do the best we can.

2:09 Yeah.

2:09 To get the Americans that are on the Yeah.

2:12 I'm not I'm not feeling good about that answer.

2:15 I mean, he says that they're putting together a report on the haunt virus.

2:19 Who RFK Jr.

2:21 and his goons or who else in the CDC

2:24 or the HHS broadly is going to be putting this report together?

2:28 Donald Trump has fired all of them.

2:30 He's outed all the scientists who care about actual science.

2:33 So, I'm just curious like who is actually behind this report?

2:37 And the fact that he was asked you like,

2:39 you know, should Americans be concerned about this?

2:41 You know, what's the what's the latest?

2:43 He says, "Well, I hope not." Well,

2:45 that doesn't that doesn't make me feel any better about it.

2:48 You know, he says, "I hope it's being contained."

2:50 What do you mean you hope it's being contained?

2:52 You're the president of the United States.

2:54 Might this be something that you're informed about?

2:56 You know, on regularly the president would be,

2:59 but of course with this guy, he's only caring about his ballroom.

3:02 He only cares about the reflecting pool that he's redoing in Washington DC.

3:06 Not a great answer from Donald Trump if you're asking me.

3:09 Then on Iran, I want to show you a couple clips on that before

3:12 we get to the uh the really gross comment he made to that woman reporter.

3:17 On Iran, he was asked about today's strikes.

3:19 Yes, the United States is back to striking Iran.

3:22 Donald Trump says that the war is over and that the ceasefire is lasting,

3:26 but we're simultaneously bombing Iran.

3:29 And this is what he had to say about the strikes today.

3:31 President, after the strike, is the ceasefire with Iran still on?

3:36 Yeah, it is.

3:37 said they trifled with us today.

3:40 We blew them away.

3:41 They trifled.

3:42 I call that a trifle.

3:43 I'll let you know when there's no cease.

3:45 You won't have to know.

3:47 If there's no ceasefire, you're not going to have to know.

3:49 You're just going to have to look at one big glow coming out of Iran.

3:53 And they better sign their agreement fast.

3:56 Yeah.

3:56 Could you give us an update on what is the latest in the talk?

3:59 No, it's going the talks are going very well,

4:01 but they have to understand if it doesn't get signed,

4:04 they're going to have a lot of pain.

4:06 They're going to have a lot of pain.

4:08 They want to sign it.

4:09 I will tell you.

4:10 They want to sign it a lot more than I do.

4:13 What was the response?

4:14 I think that's what you want to hear, fellas.

4:16 But you want to hear a different tone.

4:19 That's the only thing they understand.

4:20 They don't understand it.

4:22 We had Okay.

4:24 And then immediately after he was asked,

4:26 "How close are you to a deal?" And this is what he said.

4:30 How close would you say that you are to a deal right now with Iran?

4:33 Could happen any day.

4:35 could and it might not happen, but it could happen any day.

4:38 I believe they want the deal more than I do.

4:43 So, we've heard that exact same line from Donald Trump how many times now?

4:47 That a deal is imminent, that it's right around the corner,

4:50 two weeks, and then it never happens.

4:52 And so, when he's saying, you know, a deal is is on the table,

4:55 we're getting there, I don't believe a word of it.

4:57 And if there actually is a deal that's being worked

5:00 on and Donald Trump is on the verge of agreeing to it,

5:02 Iran is on the verge of agreeing to it,

5:04 I have no faith that it's favorable for the United States.

5:07 I mean, he accepted Iran's 10-point plan as the basis of which to negotiate on.

5:12 That's conceding to them automatically.

5:15 So, I'm not exactly hopeful about what might be going on behind the scenes,

5:19 but I just I find it remarkable that his argument is like,

5:23 "Yeah, we bombed Iran, but the ceasefire,

5:25 which is meant to be us not bombing Iran,

5:28 is still on." That kind seems a little contradictory to me.

5:32 That kind of seems like a big problem to me.

5:33 I don't know, maybe I'm just a crazy liberal,

5:35 but I think if you're bombing somebody,

5:37 you're probably not in a ceasefire with whoever you're bombing.

5:40 I don't know.

5:41 May I guess that's just uh the liberal in me.

5:44 You know, the Republicans I'm sure will say that.

5:46 Here's where Donald Trump snaps letting it slip at this reporter.

5:50 I believe it's Rachel Scott from ABC.

5:52 You can correct me if I'm wrong in the comments if I got it incorrect.

5:55 Uh she asked, "Why focus on all of these projects

5:58 as gas prices are soaring?" A great question,

6:02 a question that I'm thinking about.

6:03 I'm sure you're thinking about as well.

6:05 And Donald Trump did not like the question one bit,

6:07 calling it a stupid question.

6:09 And then he continued to to rant

6:11 at her and to just ramble incoherently with his answer.

6:14 Watch.

6:15 That's good.

6:15 You got a good looking crew back there, fellas.

6:17 Huh?

6:19 Mr.

6:19 President, you are here against the backdrop of the war in Iran.

6:23 Why focus on all these projects right now?

6:25 You know why?

6:25 Because I want to keep our country beautiful and safe.

6:29 Beautiful.

6:29 Also, this place was a disgusting place.

6:34 It was Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial,

6:39 and we had a a terrible disg you probably don't see dirt, but I do.

6:46 And you walk down this this pond.

6:47 If you would have walked down, they'll tell you better than anybody.

6:50 They had to take 11 or 12 truckloads of garbage out of that lake,

6:54 out of that water, and it sat there for years like that.

6:58 And that's not what our country is about.

6:59 Our country is about beauty, cleanliness,

7:02 safety, great people, not a filthy capital.

7:06 What is the status?

7:06 It's such a a stupid question you ask.

7:09 You're we're fixing up the reflecting pond to the Lincoln Memorial,

7:14 the Washington Monument, and you say, "Why are you fixing it up?" Because you

7:19 can understand dirt maybe better than I can, but I don't allow it.

7:23 This is one of the worst reporters.

7:25 Uh she's with ABC Fake News and she's a horror show.

7:29 She's saying, "Why would you bother fixing this up?

7:32 Why would I bother taking 11 or 12 truckloads of filth

7:35 out of the water in front of the Lincoln monument?

7:38 That's what made our country great.

7:41 Beauty made our country.

7:43 People made our country great.

7:44 A question like that is a disgrace to our country." Any other question?

7:48 Mr.

7:49 So, I I wasn't kidding when I said that he snapped.

7:53 What the hell was that?

7:55 I you're the president of the United States and you are berating

7:59 a reporter for asking a question that by the way we're all thinking about.

8:03 And look, if this is Donald Trump's tactic for the midterms,

8:07 we're right around the corner, sixish months away, maybe five.

8:11 If this is Donald Trump's tactic

8:12 for the midterms to insult people who are wondering

8:16 why you're focused on pet projects in DC

8:18 as opposed to making things more affordable,

8:21 I encourage Donald Trump to run with this tactic.

8:23 While Democrats are talking about the price of things,

8:26 the price of groceries, gas, housing, whatever it might be,

8:29 Donald Trump is talking about the reflecting pool in DC.

8:32 He's talking about the Washington Monument.

8:34 He's talking about beauty as something that makes

8:37 America great and that's so vital to people's lives.

8:40 Beauty of a reflecting pool in DC,

8:42 which if you've been to DC is already very nice.

8:45 So, I mean, incoherence,

8:48 a terrible strategy for him and the Republicans going forward.

8:52 incredibly rude and gross that he is picking on this one woman

8:55 reporter and just berating her like this in front of his administration,

8:59 in front of the entire country, might I add, as well.

9:01 I mean, this is on C-SPAN we're talking about here.

9:04 And then he goes on to call her a bitc.

9:08 Trump later called the same reporter Rachel Scott of ABCA,

9:11 as you can see it right there.

9:12 And just look at look at what he mouths here.

9:14 Look.

9:14 Thank you, press.

9:15 Thank you, press this way.

9:16 Thank you, press.

9:17 Thank you, press.

9:18 Just I'm going to I'm going to play this a couple of times for you.

9:20 press.

9:20 Thank you, press.

9:21 This way.

9:21 Thank you, press.

9:22 Thank you, press.

9:25 He definitely said that.

9:27 He Let's Let's I'm going to do one more zoom in.

9:29 Thank you, press.

9:30 Thank you, press this way.

9:31 Thank you, press.

9:32 Thank you, press.

9:33 Thank you, press.

9:35 He's really living up to who we believe him to be.

9:38 I mean, Donald Trump never disappoints in the sense

9:40 that he is always proving us right,

9:43 that he's a terrible man, a terrible president,

9:46 and just an awful person overall.

9:48 I mean, you're the president.

9:50 You're behaving like this.

9:51 Disgraceful, disgusting, beneath the office of the president,

9:55 but not beneath someone like Donald Trump who behaves this way all the time.

9:59 I'm just grossed out.

10:00 And so that was Donald Trump's presser.

10:03 There were other moments as well that he had where, for example, he was asked,

10:08 you know, you've repeatedly said that taxpayers would not pay for the ballroom.

10:11 Why are taxpayers now paying a billion dollars for it?

10:14 He said, they're not.

10:15 That's for many other projects.

10:17 What projects could he possibly be talking about?

10:19 The White House said it's for the ballroom and so he just,

10:22 you know, keeps rambling incoherently about that as well.

10:24 But just a gross press conference overall.

10:26 You can let me know what you think about it in the comments.

10:28 If you saw something I didn't in different

10:30 clips you might have seen from different media outlets.

10:32 I will leave the video there.
