26:29 the show when we did the the week to launch your show it's been amazing and uh

29:47 years has meant to me it is almost impossible

29:50 I I frankly I don't know where to start but I sit here now today with nothing

29:57 but love gratitude and pride this show is everything

30:02 it is everything I ever wanted it to be and uh I've got to tell you if

30:08 you if you like this show and you're tuned

30:12 in here in the in the middle of the night

30:14 or online I cannot stress enough that I am I am just one part of a big

30:20 team who make this show this incredible family

30:23 here who have made The Late Late Show

30:27 and so many of our team here they started this show on day one and here we are

30:34 1200 shows later and I would like to take this moment to thank each and every

30:39 one of you who works on this show from the bottom of my heart for the love

30:47 this show what it is today I love every single one of you I will forever be

32:26 been incredible and I can't thank you both

32:34 fantastic they have been with me from day one

32:38 it's unfathomable why they took a chance on me

32:40 to do this job I will never understand it but they have supported and they have

32:44 loved this show and I will be forever grateful

32:51 it's been uh it's been life-changing it really

32:57 has because moving here to America moving here

33:03 to America eight years ago it was a huge leap

33:05 for me my family my son was three her daughter was 12 weeks old and we now

33:13 have another small person and she's American yeah we

33:18 uh you know we started this show we started

33:21 with Obama then Trump then a global pandemic

33:26 and and I've watched I've watched America change a lot

33:29 over these past few years I've watched I've

33:33 watched divisions grow and and I've seen and I've

33:36 felt a sense of negativity bubble and it points boil over and I guess all I

33:43 really want to say tonight is I implore

33:45 you to remember what America signifies to the rest

33:49 of the world my entire life it has always

33:52 been a place of optimism and joy and yes it has flaws so many but show me

33:58 a country that doesn't show me a person that doesn't

34:02 me you all of us we are all trying to figure this out we are every single

34:08 one of us a work in progress and just

34:10 because somebody disagrees with you it doesn't make them

34:13 bad or evil we are all more the same than we are different and there are so

34:21 many people there are so many people who are

34:28 who are trying to stoke those differences and we

34:31 have to try as best we can to look for the light look for the joy because

34:36 if you do it's out there and that's all this show has ever been about all we've

34:42 ever wanted is just be a little a little bit of light and levity at the end
