0:09 Smoldering smising over there.
0:11 I'm trying to uh clvicular looks max jaw max.
0:15 Oh, no.
0:16 [laughter]
0:16 Oh, you're doing it, too?
0:17 Oh, that would edit.
0:18 Did you guys have a conversation before this?
0:20 No, honestly.
0:20 But I really appreciate you kind of picking up on my vibe here.
0:23 That was a good job.
0:24 I'm gonna pick up your Mets hat.
0:25 But good job.
0:26 Now you brought down my vibe.
0:28 Wow.
0:28 Who cares?
0:29 You know, you don't you didn't smell as good as you usually do today.
0:31 How about that?
0:32 Well, you didn't.
0:33 Does he usually smell good?
0:34 He does.
0:35 Well, how's his back smell?
0:36 That's for
0:39 Pat.
0:39 They know that one.
0:39 How did you How do you smell me on the normal like
0:42 You walk by him.
0:44 Yeah.
0:44 So, you get my like
0:46 Wait with
0:46 Let me ask you this.
0:47 Do you wear cologne at all?
0:49 No.
0:50 Never.
0:50 Not only for like events.
0:52 Okay.
0:52 But when you So, you have cologne?
0:54 Yes, I have.
0:54 And you wear it?
0:57 Yes.
0:56 How do you apply it?
0:57 I go two sprays on these two fingers.
0:59 I go like this and I go behind my ears.
1:02 That's it.
1:03 Yeah, that's what you're supposed to do.
1:05 There's so many other things that I've never seen sprayed on your fingers.
1:09 I I remember cuz
1:10 I heard you're never supposed to rub it.
1:12 Oh, I I mean, but then why do like the women do this?
1:16 Why do women Why do ladies do this [laughter]
1:20 if they're not supposed to?
1:21 I follow the ladies lead, ladies.
1:23 Um
1:24 but you're not doing that.
1:25 You're using fingers, but it's still the rubbing motion,
1:28 right?
1:28 Why you are you just using the fingers or someone taught you how to do that?
1:31 I I remember cuz with my fraternity there was like a like
1:36 we like went through like etiquette like proper etiquette things and
1:42 what?
1:41 Yeah.
1:41 It was like you're not supposed to like walk
1:44 into a room AND PEOPLE GO OFF when smelling your cologne.
1:48 It's supposed to be for people that get close.
1:51 Yeah.
1:51 It's supposed to be like a pheromone thing.
1:53 Like they get close and they're like,
1:54 "Whoa." Which I guess the only person I would do that for is Becca,
1:57 but like it's it's supposed to be like
1:59 a not everyone can smell you from across the room, right?
2:04 You know, like my father, I'm not kidding 30 sprays.
2:14 You're good at making that sound.
2:15 Thank you.
2:15 How do you apply it?
2:16 Do you apply um cross-section?
2:19 Just one, two,
2:20 you go X.
2:21 You put the C.
2:22 Why?
2:22 Why are you doing it?
2:23 You're doing it like a Pokemon.
2:25 You just do one seat belt sprint.
2:26 One, two, three.
2:27 Oh, you go one, two, three.
2:29 Yeah.
2:29 I used to I remember when like middle school and high school when I had
2:33 I would spray in the air and I would just walk through like I was gone.
2:36 I've done that [laughter] with like axe.
2:38 I would just spray my entire room and be like, "All right, good."
2:41 Yeah.
2:41 Yeah.
2:41 But I I like thought about this the other day because how I usually do
2:46 it is I just spray like here and here and then sometimes like in my shirt.
2:53 That was just a pure guess though.
2:55 Yeah.
2:55 I I mean I'm sure there are proper ways to do it.
2:58 Oh, you did?
2:59 I did.
3:00 So like please tell me I'm right.
3:03 No one does this.
3:03 I've never And I've seen like a bunch
3:05 of people do it like a bunch of different ways.
3:07 know [laughter] what to do with this.
3:08 But they say I've seen two behind the ears.
3:13 Yeah.
3:12 And then one on the back of the neck because that's like a trail.
3:16 So as you walk it kind of like Oh, like you're a slug.
3:21 Oh, sure.
3:22 Yeah.
3:22 Like you're a slug.
3:24 But the but instead of slug, you have scent.
3:28 Gotcha.
3:27 Instead of instead of slime.
3:28 Yeah.
3:29 Yeah.
3:29 Slime is the word, dude.
3:30 Slime is the word I wanted to use.
3:32 E.
3:32 [laughter]
3:33 Yeah.
3:33 It's a nasty word.
3:34 That's gross.
3:35 Oh my god.
3:35 God, I got so much gush.
3:37 That's crazy.
3:37 Yeah, I used to at one point I had like 15 bottles of cologne.
3:42 Like there were like two Christmases where my mom
3:45 got me like three or four bottles each.
3:47 It's mad Colombian.
3:48 Uh I mean what were the ones that you had?
3:52 Cologne.
3:51 Yeah, cuz they were like for our age group they were the big ones.
3:54 I had uh Well, I didn't have any
3:56 but my my siblings had um like Fierce from Abocrammy and Fitch.
4:01 Okay.
4:01 I didn't have that one, but I know which one.
4:03 Curve.
4:03 Yep.
4:04 Curve was a big one.
4:05 Curve was a big one.
4:06 Do you remember Kira?
4:09 No.
4:08 It was like the skater one.
4:09 You got it from like, look up Kira Cologne.
4:12 K I R R A from like the mid 2000s.
4:14 It was like at Pacson.
4:16 Oh yeah.
4:16 And it was like you went in there to make
4:18 fun of the skaters and get your Kira cologne.
4:22 [laughter] Yeah.
4:22 You don't remember this?
4:25 No.
4:24 Oh yeah, baby.
4:26 I might get some just to remember what I smelled like in those.
4:29 Oh, wait.
4:29 The top looks very familiar.
4:32 What else?
4:32 What other ones do you have?
4:33 The the curve one is a classic.
4:35 Amed wears uh the Dior one.
4:38 Salage.
4:38 Yo, you brought it up.
4:42 Dakar Noir.
4:43 I had that.
4:43 Curve.
4:44 I've had this one for quite some time.
4:46 You've had Versace?
4:47 Who the are you?
4:48 It's $140.
4:49 I didn't know that.
4:50 Oh, brother.
4:50 That's nothing.
4:51 That's nothing.
4:52 There is some There's some other ones that will get up there.
4:57 Really?
4:56 Yeah.
4:56 Like I bought one.
4:58 I have a What's that called?
5:03 It's like La Labo or some
5:05 I don't know.
5:06 I don't know.
5:06 I like the smell.
5:06 It smells good.
5:07 But yo, Amed like uses cologne.
5:11 Like he goes after it.
5:12 He goes after we'll go like when we were on tour,
5:14 we would go to a city and he would buy a bottle
5:16 and it would be halfway done by the end of the trip.
5:18 [laughter]
5:19 A three-day trip, by the way.
5:20 Do you guys deodorant your balls?
5:23 Who's up?
5:25 Who's down?
5:26 What?
5:28 No.
5:27 Wait.
5:27 You take your deodorant and you go
5:30 Well, it's a different deodorant.
5:31 Only sometimes.
5:32 Do you do the one that's like the plastic ball and it's a roller?
5:37 No.
5:36 Because it's like then you hold it up
5:37 and it's like you like Microsoft paint under your balls.
5:41 That sounds better.
5:41 I might [laughter] try that.
5:42 Sound pretty cool.
5:43 You have a full separate deodorant stick and you do like your Guccin balls
5:49 sometimes.
5:48 I Why?
5:49 I feel like that's probably
5:51 smell like dog whistle.
5:52 No, but it'll never No, but it'll never smell bad.
5:56 I mean, my I'll I'll be honest.
5:57 Sometimes my bon smells like it got
5:59 dragged by horse through human Good god, lady.
6:04 I mean, that's that's it's a very, you know,
6:07 uh, hot, moist, tightly compact part of the human body.
6:13 It's going to, you know, breed bacteria,
6:17 which is what feeds on your sweat, which is what causes the odor.
6:20 I feel like I'm getting piggybacked on to that.
6:22 That does not happen to me.
6:23 [laughter] Well, with your giant balls,
6:26 you got to look through them and you got to How much you go?
6:29 You go through a stick every time you apply.
6:31 [laughter] Do you do What do you do?
6:34 How do you do it?
6:35 Like, how would you do that logistically?
6:38 Like you just open up and you just get in there.
6:40 Open up.
6:40 Open up.
6:41 What?
6:42 You mean like lift?
6:43 Do you go from the front or you go back door?
6:45 The front.
6:46 So, you like you like get in the stirrups,
6:49 hold your nuts and dick up, and then like
6:52 Sure.
6:52 I it's it's like it's much simpler than that.
6:54 But yeah,
6:55 we're trying to get to explain it.
6:57 Open it up and I get just get in there.
6:58 Stop saying open it up, brother.
7:00 Nothing is closed.
7:01 Nothing requires pull it open.
7:03 Like my pants,
7:04 bro.
7:04 Uh my underwear.
7:05 Wait.
7:05 Oh, wait.
7:06 So, you don't do it naked.
7:07 You do it clothed.
7:10 Yeah, actually.
7:11 Yeah.
7:11 You're talking through and realizing it's stupid, right?
7:14 No, no, no.
7:14 I think it still makes sense.
7:15 You get fully dressed and you go, "Oh, forgot my ball cologne sometimes."
7:18 Or my ball deodorant.
7:20 Yeah, my ball deodorant.
7:21 And then you undo your pants and then what?
7:24 You jam the stick in there pretty much.
7:26 Is it the under the balls?
7:27 Under.
7:27 Yeah.
7:28 Is it the same stick that you use on your underarms?
7:32 No, different stick.
7:32 I'm saying is it the same like making model and stuff like that?
7:35 Oh, yeah.
7:35 Same same thing.
7:36 I don't care.
7:37 Uh, that's crazy.
7:38 I mean, I'm sure they make bald deodorant.
7:41 They do, I think.
7:42 Well, we're not sponsored, but some people do.
7:43 Yeah, for sure.
7:44 [laughter] Smart man.
7:46 Smart man.
7:48 Uh, I've never heard of that ever.
7:49 I've never done that.
7:50 I mean, you you were big on axe.
7:52 I'm sure you like sprayed your b.
7:55 Sprayed my biz?
7:56 Are you kidding me?
7:56 It I I would it would look like when you
7:58 walk into a space station and they have to like
8:02 Yeah, you would spray the hell out of that.
8:03 My pants would be smoking when I would leave my room.
8:06 What is it that when you're young?
8:07 Cuz I feel like I was like doing that too.
8:09 What was I thinking that people were going to get near my penis?
8:11 I'm 12.
8:12 You had to be prepared for any outcome of life.
8:15 Bro, if a girl wanted to get near my penis at 12,
8:17 I'd be scared and go home and cry.
8:19 Yeah.
8:20 Yes.
8:20 But like some of us weren't afraid.
8:24 Oh, talk to me.
8:25 [laughter] MAC DADDY PIMP.
8:30 I'm not saying that I was Mac Daddy pimp.
8:32 You're Mac Daddy Pimp.
8:33 YOU HAVE MY PLAYBOY BUNNY.
8:35 I'm not saying that.
8:35 WELL, I NEEDED MY BALLS TO SMELL GOOD BECAUSE I WAS READY for the action.
8:40 I was ready for whatever curveballs life had thrown at me.
8:43 I was walking out of the house that day.
8:45 They'd be like, "You know what?
8:46 This could be the day that 2004 Carmen Electra
8:50 comes up to me and she's just like hunka hunka.
8:54 You know what?
8:54 I I agree.
8:56 Thank you.
8:56 You would agree, you bald deodorant wearing bastard.
9:00 I just think that preparation for life is not anticipation of something.
9:04 It is just simply preparation.
9:06 I vigorous v vigorously whoop my ass a little bit.
9:11 Big word for Elmo.
9:13 I'm going to come over there and [laughter] cut your head off.
9:14 Yeah.
9:15 Yeah.
9:15 By the way, it's it's Cookie Monster today.
9:17 Or Grover.
9:18 He's full Grover out.
9:20 Elmo the other day.
9:21 Hey,
9:22 talk like Grover.
9:22 [laughter] I don't even know who that is.
9:24 Welcome back to the basement yard.
9:27 Who's Grover?
9:28 I know Grover Cleveland.
9:30 You know him?
9:30 No, I don't know him.
9:31 He's the president.
9:32 I know who he was.
9:33 I didn't know.
9:34 Yeah.
9:34 Oh, that's him.
9:35 That's Grover, baby.
9:37 Super Grover.
9:39 But uh continue.
9:40 You kind of got his build, too.
9:42 All right.
9:43 No, we're not doing this.
9:43 We're not doing that.
9:44 [laughter] We're not doing that.
9:47 If you want to play a game, we're not doing that.
9:49 If you guys want to play the game, we will start playing the game, brother.
9:54 Cubchu, that's for my Pokemon fans.
9:59 [laughter] loser.
10:01 No, I I feel like Yeah, baby.
10:05 That's Joey.
10:06 What about that is made?
10:08 The color really just It's actually kind of cute.
10:10 What is that?
10:10 A bear a severe cold.
10:14 Yes, it's an ice bear.
10:15 Then it evolves into Obama snow.
10:16 Show him that Bottom right picture.
10:19 Obama.
10:19 Obama snow.
10:20 Like abominal abom.
10:22 Yeah.
10:22 Cool.
10:24 Abominal.
10:24 I feel like cologne is no longer as popular as it was
10:27 when like definitely before our generation and and it has continued to die.
10:31 I think that it's popular.
10:32 Like a lot of people wear cologne.
10:34 I've seen like uh Tik Toks of people that are
10:36 like fragrance Tik Tockers and they have hundreds on
10:40 that kid that's just like let me smell this and he smells he's like
10:45 Yeah.
10:44 I'm getting good and great and spice.
10:50 Yeah.
10:50 Yeah.
10:50 Okay.
10:51 Good for him.
10:52 [laughter] Yeah.
10:53 You know what I used to love to do?
10:54 Um when my mom would get a magazine,
10:55 I would they have like the uh sample tabs and you'd rip
10:59 them off and I'd be like I'd be sniffing the out of those.
11:02 Yeah.
11:02 Hell yeah.
11:03 I remember I rub it on my face.
11:04 What's wrong with me?
11:05 Have you Well, there plenty.
11:05 Have you seen those Tik Toks that are
11:08 like people trying the different atomizers on cologn?
11:11 Yes,
11:12 dude.
11:11 It's like, look how good this one sprays.
11:13 There's one that it sprays like it's it feels like just looking at it,
11:18 it's scratching my back.
11:19 Does that make any sense?
11:21 Zero.
11:21 Are you sure?
11:21 [laughter]
11:22 Yeah.
11:22 You sure?
11:23 What do you mean?
11:23 Like just like looking at the speed,
11:25 ferocity, and and just intensity that it sprays,
11:30 it's like, "Oh, that could scratch my back."
11:32 And it feels like it's like, oh yeah.
11:35 Okay.
11:36 I have a different appreciation for that.
11:37 I do like when things are like spraying really well.
11:40 Like when I have a spray bottle, I'm like when you spray like a Windex,
11:45 it's kind of like a it's and you're like, "Okay,
11:47 this is whatever." But sometimes you get a good spray.
11:49 Like I have like an ALLPURPOSE CLEANER.
11:51 IT'S LIKE oo and it's like oh my god, I can clean my whole apartment.
11:55 I love And then I love when it like
11:57 for like one spray it sounds like an 80-year-old smoker.
12:00 It's like you know what [laughter] I'm talking about.
12:07 It's like
12:10 Yeah.
12:09 Yeah.
12:10 LIKE OH MY OH YEAH, THAT'S THE ONE.
12:12 IT looks like that would scratch my back so
12:14 Wait, is there a bunch of these?
12:15 All right, let's see this one.
12:16 That was That's a ridiculous amount of
12:17 That's impressive.
12:20 Yeah,
12:19 I don't mind that.
12:20 I don't mind that.
12:21 That might be the one that I have to be honest.
12:23 Super That's a good one.
12:25 That's a good spray.
12:26 That's a good one.
12:27 That's a good spray.
12:28 Show us something nice now.
12:29 Yeah.
12:31 Okay.
12:31 It [laughter] stays It stays in the air for a while.
12:33 I I appreciate it.
12:34 It does.
12:35 Oh, that's like a shotgun.
12:36 That's like a shotgun blast to the back of the neck, dude.
12:39 Oh, I hate that.
12:41 That's a 100 out of 10.
12:42 What do you Oh, actually, I like it now.
12:46 No, I don't like that B.
12:47 It's like it's spitting in your face.
12:50 Oh,
12:50 WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?
12:51 When I see this thing dribble at the end, I'm going to be mad.
12:54 Yeah, it's disgusting.
12:55 There are other ones that are just little.
12:56 That is a giant spray.
12:58 That's so good, dude.
12:59 I feel like that much cologne would really
13:01 you would that was all you would need.
13:03 Yeah, I [laughter] was insane.
13:05 You don't need eight streams coming at you like a hydro pump.
13:10 Yeah, that's my my second Pokemon reference of the day.
13:12 I'm sure there's going to be more now that you said that.
13:14 There absolutely will.
13:16 Um, but let's let's get back.
13:19 Let's get some vintage axe kilo body spray.
13:23 You think we could do that?
13:23 I don't I I never I I barely liked it back then.
13:26 Oh man.
13:27 would spray.
13:28 You know what I would do also?
13:29 I would spray it into my shoes.
13:31 That was I think Yeah, but I'd fill my shoes.
13:34 I mean, that was probably a very normal
13:35 thing to do because our feet probably stunk.
13:38 Do you know, have you ever smelled a mothball?
13:41 I love that smell.
13:42 I kind of like it, too.
13:43 I love Cuz we used to at the end of the summer
13:46 put them in the uh at the cabin and we would
13:49 What are they supposed to do?
13:50 Keep away moths.
13:53 Bingo.
13:53 But people put them in their shoes.
13:55 Maybe for the smell.
13:56 Yeah.
13:57 Yeah.
13:57 They also smell like that thing that they like swing around at church.
14:01 Incense.
14:01 You know what I'm talking about?
14:02 [laughter] The like the like lantern mace that they got going on there.
14:06 But they're like I love that.
14:08 Like incense in church.
14:09 Best part of the church.
14:13 Uh the smell of the church.
14:15 Yeah.
14:15 Yeah.
14:15 I was I was there.
14:16 Um
14:17 Yeah.
14:18 I I love the smell of mothballs.
14:19 My dad used to have mothballs in his shoes.
14:21 When you sprayed your shoes with Axe,
14:23 did you spray it so much where it looked
14:24 like there was a little fog in the shoes?
14:25 Yeah.
14:25 Yeah.
14:25 Of course.
14:26 I mean, that's the whole reason I was the way to do it.
14:28 I would hold it up to the light and be like, "Oh, look how fast I am."
14:30 Is axe spot like I know smoking cuz I ran so fast.
14:33 Like I know like they had like Axe body wash uh and I think deodorant.
14:38 Is is body spray still a thing?
14:42 I'm sure
14:43 if it once was, it probably is.
14:44 The ones that had that twist can
14:46 whether it be the twist can or just like the regular like I'm sure.
14:49 I'm sure it does.
14:50 I mean is is the deodorant that that was there
14:52 was deodorant and and body spray like are those different?
14:55 Yeah, of course.
14:56 Deodor body spray was just for fragrance.
14:58 Deodorant is supposed to be like antipersperent or or you know deodor Yeah.
15:04 And right, you know, anti- odor.
15:07 Yeah.
15:07 Um Yeah.
15:08 I know.
15:08 I've never I never really part taken.
15:11 Do you have any like funny or interesting cologne stories
15:16 from like any time you applied it or anything like that?
15:19 No.
15:19 [laughter] No, not really.
15:22 I mean, I definitely The first time I did it,
15:25 um I had a bottle that didn't have a spray.
15:28 It was like you're supposed to just like kind of dab it
15:31 and I went a little overboard by accident.
15:34 Yeah, I I've I've I've done that before.
15:36 And my hand was just stinking.
15:38 I mean, my dad You've definitely smelled it.
15:41 It's
15:41 smelled your dad.
15:43 Yeah.
15:43 I mean, I've smelled your dad.
15:45 Yeah.
15:45 He had this cologne.
15:46 I forgot.
15:47 uh what's the a gray flannel and
15:50 it was called gray flannel.
15:51 Yeah.
15:52 And he the mixture of that smell cuz he would put
15:55 a lot on him and the combination of his hair gel.
15:58 This guy smelled like a nuclear power plant.
16:03 Yeah.
16:02 Like it was impossible to not smell him coming and going all the time.
16:06 What about um are you a fan of car air fresheners?
16:11 Uh I I mean I like air fresheners.
16:13 I like good air, but I don't like the smell of new car.
16:18 I That's That could That That That smell gets me sick, honestly.
16:23 Really?
16:23 Yeah.
16:23 I don't like it.
16:25 I'm I think it's a hot take.
16:26 I think I don't
16:27 really I don't like I don't I mean, it's not a take.
16:29 I'm not saying it's bad.
16:30 I'm just saying I don't like it.
16:31 I don't love car air fresheners.
16:34 Like I know like everyone loves the black eyes.
16:36 See, that doesn't make sense because like you
16:38 like air like you like air smelling good.
16:41 No, I'd rather air just be like neutral.
16:44 I don't want it to smell bad, but I don't need it to smell like a thing.
16:47 Like eucalyptus smells good,
16:48 but I don't want my apartment or my world to smell like eucalyptus.
16:52 Oh, like eucalyptus and mint.
16:54 That combination could bend me over and just spitting it if it wants to.
17:01 Yeah.
17:02 In a steam room maybe.
17:03 But like if you're in your apartment, your whole apartment smells like that.
17:06 I'd be like, "This is so intense." That's that's so interesting
17:08 that you say that because I feel like well first of all once
17:11 you're in it your body gets used to it and it doesn't
17:14 smell like that unless you were like walk out and walk back in.
17:16 I feel like you can always feel eucalyptus like in your sinuses.
17:20 Uh like mint like mint mint is sharp.
17:23 Mint burns the sinuses 100%.
17:27 Yeah.
17:27 Yeah, it does.
17:27 It'll get you.
17:28 Do you know the the square ones, the gel ones that people attach to their Yeah.
17:32 Yeah.
17:32 The Fbreze ones.
17:33 Those I hate.
17:34 Why?
17:34 I after if you're driving too long after a while
17:37 the smell like it starts to hurt almost if that makes sense.
17:40 I don't like them because of how quick they go if that makes any sense.
17:44 Like I want like give me an air freshener that lasts months.
17:47 Like those ones that you put in like the air vent.
17:50 I put them on the lowest setting and they're still gone in two weeks.
17:54 I also just don't think that looks nice.
17:57 Oh, you're a big aesthetic guy.
17:59 Not really.
18:00 like, you know, but I just when I get into someone's car,
18:04 I would rather it not smell like anything.
18:06 Like that would be like my ideal.
18:08 Yeah.
18:08 But that's not the experience that most people have.
18:11 Like a car, if you think about it,
18:14 it's a confined space that doesn't have a lot of air
18:18 flow unless you're driving with the windows down all the time.
18:20 I mean, I would assume I I would say
18:21 that most of my car experience is pretty neutral.
18:26 Like, it's rare that I get in a car and I'm like,
18:28 "What the fuck?" But [snorts] there's other times I'll get in a car
18:30 and I will clearly smell the freshener and I'm like, "All right,
18:34 really?" That's Yeah.
18:35 I'm just not I don't know why.
18:37 That's That is a strange like And so you
18:39 don't do like air fresheners at the at the apartment?
18:41 Like you don't do like spray or
18:44 um if if Well, when we clean there's like
18:49 that smell from like sprays or stuff like that.
18:52 Yeah.
18:52 I'm not saying that.
18:53 I'm saying like
18:53 I'm more of like a candle person.
18:54 Like I I'll light a candle.
18:56 I mean, but that that does the exact same thing in just a different way.
18:59 I I agree.
19:00 I just think that they're different because the the sprays and stuff
19:06 are like have more of a it's it's more of a hurt.
19:10 It's more of like a sharpness.
19:12 It's more of like like it's the the scent is attacking
19:16 you compared to just like lingering like a like a candle.
19:19 Yeah.
19:20 I also if there's a candle on in my apartment
19:22 and I walk in, like obviously if you're in the apartment,
19:25 you don't really smell it cuz you're like kind of
19:28 uh adjusting to it being in the air.
19:30 But when I first walk into my apartment and I could I smell a candle,
19:35 I don't really enjoy that.
19:37 Like I I will enjoy it when I start to adjust to it and it's not as intense,
19:41 but when I first walk in, it's like I smell Christmas cookie.
19:44 Like this is crazy.
19:45 But food, however, that I'm very into.
19:49 Well, be I think because you know that you can control
19:53 the scent in the air through the candle compared to the food.
19:56 Like that the food is a little more temporary like like you
19:59 have to like cook it again in order to get that scent back.
20:01 I think I just like the smell of food.
20:03 Yeah, duh.
20:04 I mean, I like smells across the board.
20:07 Farts.
20:07 Okay, gotcha.
20:09 But I hate farts as an entity,
20:11 so I hate what comes with them, which is the shitty smell as an entity.
20:15 Yeah.
20:15 Right after.
20:16 So, like on garbage day where we're cleaning, right after I put out the garbage,
20:19 I'll open up my front door and my back door at the same time,
20:23 create a wind vortex, get all the smell out, and then I'll clean it.
20:26 Bro, I came home one day.
20:28 Thank you so much for bringing that up.
20:31 I came home one day, and it was not long ago, the dead of winter.
20:36 It's like maybe 20 degrees outside,
20:39 and the back door is open, several windows are open.
20:44 And I go to Becca.
20:44 I'm like, "What are you doing?" She's like,
20:47 "I'm burping the house." I'm like, "What?" You probably hated that terminology,
20:53 dude.
20:53 I I was like disgusted by your own home now.
20:57 I mean, I I mean, I hate the word burp.
20:59 It is a shitty word.
21:00 Burping is worse than burp.
21:02 But I was just like I was like, "What?" And she's like,
21:05 "I saw a thing that like there's stale air in your house
21:08 and you need to burp it in order to get And you know,
21:11 every time she said burp, I cringed."
21:13 Yeah.
21:13 And I was just like,
21:15 I [laughter] love that Tik Tok can really send her down a path.
21:19 Yeah, she went fully down.
21:20 Like that's not the first time that's happened.
21:22 I love her to death,
21:23 but she is like very susceptible to those like
21:25 [laughter] Tik Tok trends, but like Yeah, she was like I saw a Tik Tok and they
21:29 said you have to burp your house once every couple weeks.
21:31 That is a real thing, though.
21:33 Not Not that you have to burp your house.
21:35 I've never heard that term, but like
21:37 I mean, if you have a working ventilation system, doesn't that do that?
21:42 I I don't know.
21:44 I mean, if you have like um what's that called?
21:49 Central central air.
21:50 I don't I think that's like more of like an AC unit that's kind of distributed.
21:54 It's not necessarily like bringing air from the outside.
21:56 I'm sure there is air like
21:58 I mean I think I think that is exactly what it does.
22:01 Like cuz when you have central air, which we have now,
22:05 there's a big vent on the outside with a fan,
22:07 but that's where the air is coming in.
22:09 Yeah.
22:09 So it's fresh air coming in
22:11 when it's on.
22:13 Yeah, but what?
22:14 You think your house just doesn't breathe?
22:16 No, it does.
22:17 But it's like you think it's just like
22:19 I mean in the winter everything's kind of like closed.
22:23 No, dude.
22:24 There's also other ways like you have everything sealed.
22:28 I I don't
22:29 No, I mean I'm sure there's like some seepage,
22:31 but you got to if you want to like reset like let's get some fresh air in this
22:35 He hated seepage.
22:37 It's just tough.
22:38 You don't like seepage?
22:38 So I've accidentally been burping my house.
22:41 I think that's the thing.
22:42 I mean, I I do like like Becca will do that during the spring and the summer
22:45 where she'll open the front and the back door
22:47 and you get a vortex and it's a beautiful
22:49 Sometimes if [clears throat] I'm not careful, my paper towels will fall over.
22:52 Oh, we didn't.
22:52 Thanks for adding that.
22:53 Why do we need that?
22:55 [laughter]
23:00 Show like that happens though.
23:01 Like all the doors in my apartment when one of the windows open slam.
23:06 Yeah.
23:06 Does that happen to you?
23:07 Yes, that happens.
23:07 One window could be open.
23:08 I STEP OUTSIDE, BANG.
23:09 I'm like, "Yo." [laughter] And it will scare the out of me.
23:13 I'm thinking Nicole's slamming doors.
23:15 I'm like, "WHAT?" [laughter] Windows open.
23:19 She goes to the bathroom and slams.
23:20 I'M LIKE, "WHAT NOW?" [laughter] YEAH.
23:24 I think that one of the kids like closed
23:26 the door on their hand or some like that.
23:28 Yeah.
23:28 It's terrifying.
23:30 Yeah.
23:30 But I I get what she was trying to do,
23:32 but I think that like in her calling it burping,
23:35 I was just like, I'm not I'm not allowing this.
23:37 So I was like, "Shut the doors." I'm not burping.
23:41 Believe us our stale air.
23:42 Apparently it is a thing like with like really really big like expensive houses.
23:48 They get like pressurized like a plane.
23:52 Yeah.
23:52 like if they have like because we know our contractor
23:56 we were talking with like I like joked with him
23:57 about it and he's like there are some like multi-million
24:01 dollar estates that like they have such a wellfunctioning like
24:07 uh air like ventilation system and like all their windows
24:11 are like super new and sealed and high-end and like
24:14 the doors and blah blah blah that like that's a real
24:16 thing that like there will be a sense of pressure.
24:20 So, like that's why like sometimes you'll like open a door and it'll go like
24:25 like a like a Coke can.
24:27 That is crazy.
24:28 Yeah.
24:28 But I mean burping it is stupid.
24:33 Yeah.
24:33 So, I was just like,
24:33 you want to go in the back of the house and pat the back of the house?
24:37 Oh god.
24:38 No.
24:39 Um, also you mentioned plane.
24:41 I was like wondering this for you guys,
24:43 but I'm going create a hypothetical situation for you.
24:45 If you are in a city, you're not home.
24:48 just want to be we are flying in a couple days.
24:50 So please be very cognizant of that anxiety.
24:53 It's not that.
24:53 Okay.
24:54 Um so let's just say that we're in like
24:57 Denver which is like what four hours away?
24:59 Let's just call it whatever is exactly four hours away.
25:02 And then you're on the plane on the way home and they
25:06 come on the thing and they're like we need someone to get off.
25:09 We're offering this much.
25:11 What's your cut off?
25:13 And there's nothing that you need to be home for.
25:15 Cut off like minimum.
25:16 No.
25:16 like yo like what is an amount that you're like I'm getting
25:19 off this plane taking that money and you get on a later
25:21 flight like that day and the I'll say this the flight that you're
25:24 going to get on is like five hours from where like now
25:30 so you there's a five hour wait
25:32 and then it's the the normal like like uh duration
25:37 of the flight it's not like it's like a connecting flight
25:40 no no it's a it's a direct flight
25:41 it's the same flight just five hours later
25:44 question what was I doing in See, come on, man.
25:48 Why does that matter?
25:49 Because I'm planning that I would take half of what my trip was.
25:55 I It's up to you.
25:56 I don't know.
25:57 How much was the flight?
25:59 Because that's a big part of it, too.
26:01 Like, is it going to be more expensive than what I is
26:03 it going to be more money than what I paid for the flight?
26:05 Like, am I walking out I mean, you're paying for the flight regardless.
26:10 Yeah.
26:10 But if I pay say the round trip, hypothetically.
26:14 Yeah.
26:14 Not that this happens much anymore, but say the round trip is like 500 bucks,
26:19 okay?
26:18 And they're saying, "We'll offer you 600 bucks." I'm in the green there.
26:22 So, like, if anything, like I made money on the trip.
26:25 So, let's let's say it was let's say it was 500 bucks.
26:30 I think I'd do 1.5 times.
26:32 I'd be fine with 750.
26:34 And you would get off and be like, "I'll wait."
26:37 Yeah.
26:37 If I have no reason to get home,
26:39 if there's no and and I'm just getting and I'm going to be walking away up.
26:43 I think 1.5 times whatever you paid for it is fine at five hours.
26:48 You start adding more time on there,
26:51 then we're talking more money.
26:53 You never take the first offer.
26:55 It's not the first offer.
26:56 It's like they offer.
26:57 I gave what I thought was a reasonable amount.
26:59 Like there's like an amount that they'll say and you're like, "Fuck that.
27:01 I'm taking that." I like the math.
27:04 I like 1.5 times the flight.
27:08 I'd think a flat thousand.
27:11 A flat flat thou wow.
27:13 Yeah, thou wow.
27:14 So you're So you're telling me that if your trip is over
27:17 if the flight is over $1,000 and they offer you a thousand,
27:20 you're good with that.
27:24 I see.
27:24 Because then the math goes away.
27:26 Yes.
27:26 Profit a thousand.
27:28 Profit a,000 is crazy.
27:30 There's almost no way.
27:31 Yeah.
27:32 There's no way.
27:32 If you're going to like Japan where it's like a $1,200 ticket,
27:36 they're not going to be like, "We'll offer you $2,200, brother." Yeah.
27:39 Depends how desperate they are.
27:40 I guess
27:41 I mean
27:42 I mean if anything
27:43 they will ground that plane before they give you $2,200.
27:46 I'm not planning to get that.
27:47 It infuriates me that that happens because like I'm sure there's a business
27:51 reason to it and big airplane will come on here and tell us.
27:54 I think it's more about weight like when the when
27:57 But why do they why they should book one person per seat?
28:02 No, what I'm talking about is it's about weight of like uh cargo.
28:06 Like if if all of our luggage is just more
28:09 than whatever because you know you could pay like when
28:12 you when you go especially on a bigger flight where
28:14 you uh by the way this is based in nothing.
28:18 Uh
28:19 just like 90% of what we talk about
28:21 when you bring your luggage and it's like
28:22 it has to be like under a certain amount.
28:24 I think you pay a fee if it's above that.
28:26 So if enough people are doing that and it's like oh well it's a full flight
28:29 and the luggage like the plane is too heavy
28:31 plus the fuel like we just need some people off.
28:35 So you're telling me that like the reason
28:37 that you pay an extra $50 if it's over 50
28:40 pounds luggage is because in theory enough people will
28:44 do that to justify pulling one person off that plane.
28:46 I think it's to avoid like the reason why you pay a fee
28:48 there is so you avoid people just bringing like hundreds of pounds of luggage.
28:53 Yeah.
28:53 But then but in but also in theory if five people bring
28:58 a 100 50 extra pounds it comes out to 250 extra pounds right
29:03 the amount that it would cost could be the amount that a ticket would be.
29:08 Sure.
29:08 Maybe that's part of it too.
29:10 I mean like there has to be a limit
29:12 but I think it's between that and they also overbook flights.
29:14 I don't know how that's possible.
29:15 I I hate that I'm knock on wood that has yet to happen to me
29:21 to be over booked to be over booked where it's just like oh sorry it's likem
29:26 what I I booked like I will go full Karen in that situation
29:30 well I don't think they kick you off the plane you ask people to get
29:35 off yeah but that's someone else over they
29:37 overbook so someone else that also booked is
29:41 yeah like that happened to me and Danny
29:43 what happened
29:44 they over booked and we just didn't have seats.
29:45 Like we got there, we didn't have seats on the plane.
29:48 Well, if you if you do that, so if you book, there's like different um classes.
29:53 Classes, I guess.
29:54 But like Yeah.
29:55 It's like main and then main plus or I don't know,
29:57 some like that where it's like one of them is a little cheaper
29:59 and you don't have a seat until you show up to the gate.
30:01 So that's the risk that you run.
30:02 Yeah.
30:03 Well, I'm never making that mistake again, right?
30:05 That's never happened to me.
30:06 And I've flown like uh main cabin or standard whatever whatever it is several.
30:12 They offered us money though.
30:13 But you but you have a seat.
30:15 You've booked and like got to the But why can I But why does that happen
30:20 where like then they go you don't have a seat
30:24 because because that does happen that does happen.
30:26 Is it like just part of the risky run?
30:27 You get a discount.
30:28 I think it's pro I mean I'm again I'm sure someone that works for the FAA
30:32 is going to be in the comments just be like let me tell you
30:35 it's probably more common than
30:38 it pro it [laughter] probably has it probably has to do
30:40 with like the inherent risk of someone backing out or not showing up.
30:44 So like
30:46 probably
30:45 it's probably like on average 1.8 people just don't show up for their flight.
30:50 So they'll book three extra to like just
30:52 take that risk and it ends up if anything
30:55 making them more money because they're booking it
30:58 and then they can just throw them on another flight.
31:00 Can you look that up?
31:01 How why are they over
31:02 I am it's it's pretty much what you're saying.
31:05 It's just a practice that started in the 50s
31:07 and it's just them compensating for people who cancel flights.
31:11 It's insane that like they can't eat one seat
31:16 like whatever that would cost like a I I
31:18 especially then how much was a ticket in 1950?
31:22 Oh my god.
31:22 Look up what a roundtrip ticket to Boca Raton, Florida is.
31:27 Don't ask me why that's where now in in 1950.
31:31 Oh, is that or like the average ticket price in 1950
31:34 and the average ticket price now because we know it's ridiculous.
31:38 But back then it was also a different flying experience.
31:41 It was just like you could fly for 30 bucks.
31:43 A roundtrip ticket in the 50s from New York to Florida was 75 bucks.
31:49 Crazy.
31:49 But also, you're sitting next to someone who's ripping darts, dude.
31:53 [laughter] I'm talking like you are getting hotboxed with tobacco
31:57 and you're in a suit.
32:00 Yeah.
32:00 Did you see that there was I don't know if
32:02 it was an air I think it was an airport.
32:03 I think it was the Tampa airport banned pajamas.
32:07 Yo, I'm kind of into that.
32:10 What?
32:10 I I think
32:11 I mean I'm not showing up with the Cookie Monster pajamas and Spongebob slides.
32:17 Well, people are.
32:18 That sucks.
32:19 But like, where are we cutting off pajamas?
32:21 Like, I show up in basketball shorts and slides sometimes to some flights.
32:29 Yeah, I think I Yeah, I think that's okay.
32:31 I just don't think like pajama pants and like fuzzy slippers is like Yeah.
32:36 Like you're in pub.
32:37 I mean, that's not even just for the airport.
32:38 or I think anywhere like outside.
32:40 I mean, I personally wouldn't wear that.
32:42 I mean, that was like a meme that was
32:43 born in our age bracket for people in high school.
32:47 Like, everyone remembers the kids that would show up.
32:50 It was mostly girls that would show up to high school in the Spongebob pajamas.
32:54 And
32:55 yeah,
32:55 you know,
32:56 I I have a clarification here of what for the price ticket of the 50s.
33:02 Okay.
33:01 It's equivalent to 1,000 to,200 today.
33:04 It was technically more expensive than uh back then.
33:07 40% more expensive because of just how difficult it was for planes to fly.
33:12 Oh, so inflation.
33:13 So when they take inflation [clears throat] into account, it was Oh, wow.
33:15 That's pretty interesting.
33:15 It was actually more expensive back then because planes weren't as efficient.
33:19 Wow.
33:20 Ratio wise.
33:20 Yeah.
33:20 Because people were making less planes, too.
33:24 Yeah.
33:23 Less planes, less flights, you know.
33:25 I'm sure they were also less technologically advanced.
33:31 Yeah.
33:30 I If Let me ask you a serious question.
33:33 Mhm.
33:34 If someone were to like do if we were to get a brand deal with like Delta Mhm.
33:40 and they were like, "We want to fly you somewhere and you make content,
33:44 but you're flying on our vintage 1950s plane.
33:48 You doing it?" No.
33:50 Me neither.
33:51 No shot.
33:52 I thought you were going to make it something easy like get in the cockpit.
33:55 I'm like, I'm dying to be in a cockpit.
33:56 Oh, yeah.
33:56 That would be cool to see a cockpit.
33:57 I'm waiting for a pilot to recognize us.
34:01 Yeah.
34:01 like, "Give me my wing." Oh, my sister was on a plane.
34:04 They went to the Bahamas and the kids got little wings.
34:06 I was like, I didn't even know they did that anymore.
34:08 I I got um one of the like air attendants, what are they called?
34:14 Flight attendants.
34:14 Yeah, that's one of the flight attendants recognized
34:17 me and gave me a bag of candy
34:19 with like a little like United pin on it and it's like the United logo and like
34:25 a bag of candy.
34:27 Yeah.
34:27 Were you with your children?
34:29 Solo.
34:29 Dooo, baby.
34:30 Wow.
34:31 by my sizzy.
34:33 That's nice.
34:34 Yeah.
34:34 But oh man, if a pilot was just like, "You want to go check out the
34:39 dude, I love the show.
34:39 We listen to it when we're flying." First of all,
34:41 I wouldn't That actually would make me feel worse.
34:43 I mean, they're not even doing anything.
34:46 Somehow it would still make me feel not good.
34:50 Imagine they're flying the plane and then they just
34:51 hear my roar and they're just like, "Fuck." [laughter]
34:54 Well, they're not flying the plane.
34:56 I know.
34:58 I would like to go in there and just like
35:00 keep my hands in my pocket and just go, "Whoa."
35:03 I'd get in a seat, put the hat on.
35:06 Really?
35:06 Yeah.
35:06 Hell yeah.
35:07 I don't think you could take pictures in there.
35:08 Can you?
35:09 Probably not.
35:10 Did someone get in trouble for this?
35:13 Was it Charlie Sheen?
35:14 I was going to say, was it Katy Perry?
35:16 It was
35:16 No, it was Charlie Sheen.
35:17 Katy Perry has been randomly getting in trouble for stuff lately.
35:20 So,
35:20 he was like hammered and like high off Coke and they let him in the cockpit.
35:23 Well, hold on.
35:25 What?
35:25 The first two parts were probably why he got in trouble.
35:28 No, no, he got in trouble bec well the pilot
35:30 got in trouble because they let him and he he took
35:34 So here's the story with Charlie Sheen is that he was
35:36 like high on coke and like drunk or something like that.
35:38 He was on the plane.
35:38 They recognized him and then they let him in the cockpit and they
35:41 put him in the seat and then they took the autopilot off.
35:47 So now Charlie Sheen is driving the plane and he goes and I took
35:50 the wheel and I just went like this and the plane moved a little bit
35:54 and the pilot was like fire got in a lot of trouble for that.
35:58 Yeah, absolutely.
35:59 I mean wasn't there also the story of him
36:01 on a private jet where he was just like how much
36:03 do I have to pay in damages to smoke cigarettes
36:05 and they were like $10,000 and he was just ripping sick.
36:08 He's
36:08 like I'll do it.
36:09 I'm Charlie Sheen.
36:09 I think Tom Cigar told that story and crazy.
36:12 I I can't name a celebrity that this is this is dual-ended double-sided.
36:23 You know what?
36:23 Before you get into the double-sided,
36:24 let's get [laughter] into the uh let's get into something else real quick.

40:45 I thought you came up with Don't Get Angry, Get Angry Orchard.
40:50 I mean, I did.
40:53 I thought it was going to be like that like
40:54 Romeo on Tik Tok moment where it's like Dr.
40:57 Peppa, baby, it's good and nice.
41:02 I really did try to open that.
41:03 Um, and you really I could see the dent from here.
41:07 Well, you're supposed to use a bottle opener.
41:11 Well, there are B there are people that use
41:13 their eyes and like that, which is crazy.
41:15 Yeah, but they're, you know.
41:17 Yeah, crazy.
41:18 Um, I was going to ask a double-ended question,
41:23 right?
41:22 Let's imagine everyone has the same exact training.
41:27 The training is not like they're the best in the world,
41:30 but they are adequately trained to fly a plane.
41:34 Mhm.
41:36 Name a person, a celebrity, an athlete, whatever,
41:40 that you would be the most confident in landing that plane and then the inverse,
41:44 the least confident in landing that
41:46 you just said we're all have the same training.
41:48 Yeah.
41:48 But I mean, you still have to take into account who the individual is.
41:51 Like for instance, I would really trust Definitely not you.
41:59 Are you kidding me?
42:00 You'd be hammered.
42:03 Me?
42:02 Yeah.
42:03 I would really trust.
42:06 Who would I trust to land this plane?
42:09 Matt Damon.
42:10 That's a great pick.
42:12 That's a really good pick.
42:13 Didn't he go to Harvard?
42:15 Might have.
42:17 Denzel Washington.
42:18 That's a good one, too.
42:19 He landed he he inverted.
42:21 He landed that plane drunk, didn't he?
42:23 In that movie,
42:24 Tom Hanks.
42:24 Tom I was thinking Tom Hanks, but I was trying to come up with someone new.
42:28 Is that a boat or a plane?
42:29 No, he did both.
42:30 That was Captain Sully Sullenberg.
42:32 Oh, yeah.
42:33 His name was Yeah.
42:34 Yeah.
42:34 Yeah.
42:34 Uh or maybe I would just choose a pilot.
42:37 Yeah.
42:37 But like I'm I'm That's not what the question is,
42:39 right?
42:39 Samuel Jackson dealt with snakes on a plane.
42:42 He did deal with snakes on a plane.
42:44 I'm thinking though, like who is responsible enough to be like
42:47 an awesome plane lander like gives off responsible too.
42:54 Devided Diggs.
42:54 You know who Devid Diggs is?
42:58 No.
42:56 From Hamilton.
42:58 Oh yeah.
42:59 He He would be I feel like he would be good at landing a plane.
43:02 How did you He just looks like he's just got his life together.
43:06 Idris Elba.
43:07 That's a good one.
43:09 That's what I'm talking about.
43:12 Yeah.
43:11 And I think Bill Bird is a pilot.
43:15 Yeah.
43:15 He flies helicopters.
43:16 I think
43:16 I would better than
43:18 He said we all have the same training.
43:20 Oh yeah.
43:21 I'm It doesn't matter the helicopter or plane or anything.
43:24 Everyone has the same.
43:25 I would also I would put Bill Burr on my I'm a little worried here.
43:29 Why?
43:29 Because I can see him like just being pissed about something like
43:32 he's flying to like Buffalo and he's just like, "Fuck this place."
43:37 Yeah.
43:37 [laughter]
43:38 You know what I mean?
43:40 Uh, so who's who's the least?
43:42 Well, Charlie Sheen's up there.
43:44 And and I'm talking 2006 Charlie Sheen.
43:47 I'm not talking 19, you know, 2026.
43:49 I put my dad up there just because I've been in the car
43:52 with him a lot and I know that he likes to do everything except drive.
43:58 Yeah.
43:58 You don't like your dad as a driver?
44:00 He's a good driver.
44:01 We've never been in an accident.
44:02 Or at least I've never been in an accident with him.
44:04 But he he does do everything but drive.
44:07 Like he like looks for stuff.
44:09 He talks.
44:09 He's back.
44:10 [laughter] He's checking for whatever.
44:11 And I'm like just really, you know what I mean?
44:14 Yeah.
44:15 I would not trust.
44:18 Man, this is a tough one.
44:21 I would say either of the Paul brothers.
44:24 Why?
44:25 I don't know.
44:26 McGregor.
44:28 Yeah.
44:28 Well, that's a good answer.
44:30 I don't think I trust
44:31 Conor McGregor.
44:31 I'm not.
44:32 No way.
44:33 Reasons to not trust him in any capacity.
44:36 Still applies.
44:37 [laughter]
44:38 Uh oh, I would trust Morgan Freeman a lot.
44:42 He's getting up there.
44:42 He's getting up there.
44:43 Yeah, he's getting up there, but he still has it, you know.
44:45 Yeah, but I know.
44:46 But like, you know, bad turbulence.
44:48 Look at how old he is.
44:49 I wouldn't trust like Pacino.
44:52 No, no, he's dead.
44:54 He's getting there.
44:55 Oh, okay.
44:56 Yeah.
44:56 Like he's like I was like, "Do you know something I know?"
44:59 No, no, no.
44:59 Like he's, you know, he's knocking.
45:04 Yeah.
45:03 Morgan Freeman is 88.
45:05 That's wild.
45:05 He was born in 1937.
45:08 That's crazy, dude.
45:09 He's not that much younger than my grandmother.
45:12 You know what's crazy?
45:13 I heard recently.
45:14 Who's dead?
45:15 Dad.
45:16 You know.
45:17 Yeah.
45:17 She's gone.
45:18 Yeah.
45:18 Like filthy.
45:19 Like gone.
45:21 Filthy is crazy.
45:22 He She hasn't seen his last like 10 movies, though.
45:25 Oh, who?
45:25 Morgan Freeman's.
45:26 Yeah, I think Morgan Freeman has probably done
45:28 more than 10 movies since your grandmother died.
45:30 Since 2012, you think?
45:33 Let's pull up the filmography, babe.
45:35 No one cares that much.
45:36 All right.
45:36 When it was Bruce Almighty, that's all that matters.
45:38 Uh, that was in 2005, I believe.
45:40 So, she saw that one.
45:42 I mean, everyone saw Bruce Almighty.
45:44 That was a great movie.
45:45 True.
45:45 Uh, oh, what I was trying to say is I saw like a thing that was
45:49 just like Samuel Jackson didn't like get his breakout
45:53 role until he was like in his 40s.
45:55 I'm like, how old is Samuel Jackson?
45:57 He's old, right?
45:58 He's he's I mean, he's in his 70s, I believe, bro.
46:01 He also has one of the most impressive filmographies.
46:07 Samuel Jackson.
46:08 Yeah, he does.
46:10 He's like in all the Quinton Tarantino movies.
46:12 Those alone,
46:13 those are good.
46:15 77.
46:17 Wow.
46:16 It's a real shame that he's a weird
46:19 Oh, he's like doubling down on how weird he is.
46:22 He's just like a weird But the movies are good, but he's a weird
46:26 Jackson or Tino?
46:29 Tino.
46:29 Oh, yeah.
46:29 He's weird.
46:30 Oh, yeah.
46:30 Samuel Jackson.
46:31 Not [clears throat] only do I not think he's weird,
46:33 I wouldn't call him weird because he'd come here and beat the brakes off me.
46:36 He's like a a good dude.
46:37 I think he's like a philanthropist also.
46:39 Yeah.
46:40 I I think he was one of the pawbears
46:42 at uh MLK's uh like Martin Luther King Jr.'s funeral.
46:49 What?
46:49 I think so.
46:51 How he's 77, dude.
46:55 That's insane.
46:56 That was 60.
46:58 Can we fact check any of this?
47:00 I'm trying.
47:01 This seems like an intense uh
47:03 was Samuel L.
47:04 Jackson.
47:04 I And maybe I'm mixing him up with somebody else, but I
47:08 He was an usher at
47:10 Okay.
47:10 his funeral.
47:10 He was He was an usher at his funeral.
47:12 So, yeah,
47:13 that's still like that's a Yeah, shows you how recent all that stuff was.
47:17 Pull up Samuel Jackson's filmography on the screen here.
47:20 Well, all right.
47:20 Name I mean, of course, all the Avengers movies.
47:22 I can go on forever.
47:24 Oh, wow.
47:25 Yeah.
47:25 I also lowkey the Kingsman movies.
47:27 I like them.
47:28 Uh he was only in the first one.
47:30 He You know what movie he was shady in that people forget?
47:33 Jurassic Park.
47:34 That's right.
47:34 He was on Jurassic Park.
47:36 Yep.
47:36 Django.
47:38 Pulp Fiction.
47:38 Oh my god.
47:39 Django's such a crazy
47:42 Unbreakable.
47:42 I forgot about Unbreakable.
47:44 Mr.
47:45 Glass.
47:46 They call him Mr.
47:47 Glass.
47:48 The Kingsman movies.
47:49 Jackie Brown.
47:51 Good Fellas.
47:52 Oh my god.
47:54 He had like a brief cameo.
47:56 But still, like look at these movies that he's in.
47:58 He was in that.
47:59 Die Hard, right?
48:00 Die Hard.
48:01 He was in Die Hard.
48:02 No.
48:03 No.
48:03 That's Die Hard with a Vengeance.
48:04 That's not Oh, yeah.
48:06 Yeah.
48:06 Deep Blue Sea.
48:07 Wait, he was in Coming to America.
48:09 Love Deep Blue Sea, dude.
48:11 Deep Blue Sea.
48:12 So good.
48:12 Is so good.
48:15 Really?
48:15 But it's so bad, too.
48:16 Well, that's why.
48:17 Yeah.
48:17 Isn't like Michael Rapaort like a scientist in that or something?
48:20 Oh, cool.
48:21 Jay's a chef.
48:22 It's great.
48:23 Yeah.
48:24 He saves his bird.
48:25 That's right.
48:26 I remember that.
48:26 Oh my god.
48:27 Yo, that movie is so sick.
48:28 Triple X.
48:29 Bro, I loved that movie.
48:31 I was Oh my god.
48:32 I don't think I ever saw that one.
48:34 Bills, he's Frozone.
48:36 He is Frozone.
48:37 A lot of pe
48:38 He's in Kong Skull Island.
48:39 I don't even know if I saw that.
48:40 That was a good one.
48:40 I like
48:41 SWAT.
48:42 Lowkey good movie.
48:43 I don't remember that being good.
48:44 The Sum of All Fears.
48:45 That was good.
48:48 He's in.
48:49 Wait, S of All Fears.
48:49 That's not him.
48:50 That's He's in the Garfield movie.
48:52 The new one.
48:53 Yeah, he plays Garfield's dad.
48:56 It's like Chris Pratt is Garfield and his father's Samuel Jackson.
48:59 [laughter] Damn, dude.
49:01 Look how many movies he's done.
49:03 Yeah, that's right.
49:03 He's Mace Window.
49:06 Yeah, Purple Lightsaber, dude.
49:07 So sick.
49:08 Yeah, I know.
49:09 Coach Carter.
49:09 You remember Coach Carter?
49:11 Wow,
49:11 dude.
49:11 What a movie.
49:12 That movie is lowkey incredible.
49:14 I think I saw an interview recently that said that he got mad
49:16 at the cast because there there's like a party scene in that movie
49:19 and they were actually like drinking and having a party and he was
49:23 like upset with them because they weren't taking it serious, which I get it.
49:27 Look at that.
49:27 The films in which he has appeared
49:29 have collectively grossed more than 27 billion worldwide.
49:32 And he's still not the in like the highest grossing.
49:36 No, he's not anymore.
49:37 Making him the highest grossing actor.
49:39 I saw I saw someone else.
49:42 Who?
49:42 I'm going to have you guys guess.
49:43 I know who it is.
49:44 You know who it is.
49:46 Yeah.
49:45 It's an actress if that I mean it's a Tris.
49:47 It's a Tris if that narrows it down.
49:50 But don't say older.
49:51 Don't say it.
49:52 Is she older than Samuel or like around that age?
49:57 No.
49:57 No.
49:57 So, she's young.
49:58 Fairly young.
50:00 Yes.
49:59 Well, fairly young.
50:01 Definitely young.
50:02 Yeah.
50:02 Yeah.
50:02 But I'm saying like not Zenaia age, right?
50:05 Yeah.
50:05 Yeah.
50:05 Yeah.
50:05 I figured she was like probably got to be at least 40 or something like that.
50:09 Okay.
50:09 Okay.
50:12 Um, bro, I don't
50:14 think of the biggest movies of all time.
50:16 Just start naming them.
50:17 Start naming them.
50:18 Scarlett Johansson.
50:20 Okay.
50:20 Margot Robbie.
50:21 Definitely not.
50:22 Yeah.
50:22 I mean, yeah,
50:24 I swung with Barbie there.
50:25 the the answer is gonna blow your mind.
50:27 It's like someone I would not expect.
50:29 Yes.
50:29 But like once you like are like, "Oh, oh yeah." Like
50:32 Jennifer Lawrence.
50:35 No.
50:35 Not as mainstream.
50:36 Like I I mean that's that sounds disrespectful.
50:38 I don't
50:39 um Thurman.
50:40 No, but you're going on the right track a little bit.
50:44 Carrie Washington.
50:45 That's not it.
50:46 No, but you're also kind of going in the right track.
50:48 Halle B.
50:49 No.
50:50 No.
50:50 You know, like Avatar, Marvel.
50:53 Oh,
50:54 really?
50:54 Zoe Sana.
50:55 Yeah, dude.
50:57 Yeah, bro.
50:58 What?
50:59 The Avatar.
50:59 Oh, I guess she's in what's it called?
51:01 She's in the Avengers.
51:04 Yep.
51:03 She's in the Avatar movies.
51:04 I think those alone in Zoe Sana.
51:08 [snorts]
51:09 She was in Wasn't she in uh that road trip movie that she was in?
51:14 Huh?
51:14 She was in like a road trip movie with like Britney Spears, wasn't she?
51:18 What the Guardians.
51:22 WHOA.
51:22 WHOA.
51:23 THAT MIGHT NOT BE ACCURATE.
51:24 She's officially right there.
51:25 Right there.
51:26 Right there.
51:27 Where?
51:27 On the right.
51:29 This.
51:30 Yes.
51:30 Yeah.
51:30 I I saw reports that she is.
51:32 This says that she is has taken over the worlds with 15.4.
51:37 Well, this this isn't What are we doing here?
51:40 I've se we're seeing conflicting reports here.
51:42 Maybe this is a domestic.
51:45 I thought I saw worldwide.
51:47 No, they're even talking about how
51:48 now stands at he's third.
51:53 So whatever I guess that Google AI that you were using, Gemini lied to you.
51:58 AI is inaccurate all time.
52:01 [laughter] Um but yeah, dude, like Zoe Salana has the Avatar movie.
52:09 Yeah, there's there's an enya over the N.
52:12 Um um type in her filmography.
52:14 I want to see what she's in.
52:16 I mean, hold on.
52:17 She's in the Guardians movies, the Avengers movies.
52:20 She's in the Avatar movies.
52:22 You ever see the losers?
52:23 I think she's in the Losers.
52:24 Oh, Perez.
52:25 Ameilia Perez.
52:25 You won the Oscar for that.
52:26 Pirates of the Caribbean.
52:28 Yeah, that's right.
52:29 Oh, She was in that, too.
52:31 Stars movie.
52:32 That's what you're thinking of.
52:33 Crossroads.
52:33 Yeah.
52:34 How the did you think of a 2002 movie that no one knows?
52:37 Frank, [laughter]
52:39 the Losers.
52:39 Okay.
52:40 I never saw that one, but I know that movie.
52:41 I don't know most of these movies.
52:43 Good movie.
52:43 Losers.
52:43 I'm pretty sure she played Nina Simone in the movie Nina.
52:48 Scroll more.
52:51 Y
52:51 I don't Oh, yeah.
52:51 The Star Trek.
52:52 Star Trek.
52:53 But they were not as big as you would have thought.
52:55 Yeah.
52:55 This feels like a like a Avatar cheat.
52:58 Avatar Marvel.
53:00 Yeah, it's Avatar.
53:00 I mean, Avatar, I think, is like it's three movies and it's like $6 billion.
53:05 Yeah, it's crazy.
53:06 And then Marvel is up there, but they have more movies, you know.
53:09 I've never seen a frame of an Avatar movie.
53:12 I saw the first one and I vehemently refused to watch
53:14 any of the others cuz I I just get it.
53:17 I like I got it, but I was just like this isn't
53:20 what it needs to like the hype needs is making it.
53:24 Yeah.
53:24 Yeah.
53:25 You know, cuz it's like Yeah.
53:26 the biggest movie ever and you're like Yeah.
53:28 Like it felt like it was like I remember the first
53:31 movie like watching I was like whoa this is stunning.
53:34 Like it's beautiful.
53:35 But then like there were other parts where I was just like this kind of stupid.
53:38 Is it pope?
53:38 It's pope.
53:39 Like they like the the thing that they have to get is called unoptanium.
53:42 And it's just like be a little more on the nose.
53:44 Yeah.
53:44 Let's let's avoid that.
53:46 Like [laughter] come on.
53:47 Like use some different words.
53:49 Like we came up with the name of it.
53:50 Exact.
53:50 That's like if our children like and you cannot obtain this precious mineral.
53:55 What's it called?
53:56 It's untainable and it's like uranium.
53:58 Unobtanium.
53:59 [laughter] So that's so dumb.
54:02 Are there any other movies that besides Rage
54:04 Baiting Me with the Mask that are like well-known
54:07 great movies that just for you you're like um H I have I have one for sure.
54:23 What?
54:22 And you're gonna hate me for this one.
54:24 I was like not all like I didn't think Interstellar was all that great.
54:29 I know you love that movie.
54:31 I I disagree.
54:33 I think that Interstellar is a good movie.
54:34 I think that some people I'm not saying it's a bad movie.
54:37 I didn't think you think it's overrated.
54:41 I was just like, "All right." See, I feel like Interstellar,
54:44 the problem with that movie is the same problem with The Wolf of Wall Street.
54:47 I think they're both great movies.
54:50 It's just that when the hardos come in and and like identify so much with it,
54:56 it just like ruins it.
54:58 Yeah.
54:58 But because The Wolf of Wall Street is a great movie,
55:01 but like the people who are like and it's like
55:05 you go to work and this is who you are now.
55:07 Like it's just nerdy.
55:08 Like but if anything them doing that it it highlights the message of the film.
55:14 Like oh people don't get it.
55:17 Yeah.
55:17 Yeah.
55:17 But that's not that's not the movie's fault.
55:19 I know that's not the movie's fault, but I'm saying like
55:21 the movie gets a bad rep because the people
55:23 who like the movie are like the weebs.
55:26 I mean I like I love that movie.
55:28 I'm not a dweeb.
55:29 I'm not a dweeb.
55:30 No, I know.
55:30 I'm saying like say I'm not a dweeb.
55:33 I'm saying the people who like think that that they are
55:37 I am Jordan Belelffort now.
55:38 Yeah.
55:38 And now it's like you know it's just corny but yeah it
55:42 but I feel like Interstellar like every every like guy on Hinge like
55:46 I've seen it on Tik Tok where girls saying like every guy on Hinge
55:48 says like Interstellar is his favorite movie and it's like all right now it's
55:51 becoming like now it's a little corny you know but I like the movie.
55:54 I think it's good.
55:54 I can see how you're like, nah.
55:56 But I just felt like I was I was like, okay, it's good.
55:59 But then again, like I'm also a grumpy
56:01 little where people would be like, oh my god.
56:04 And I'm just like, yeah, I you know what I kind of felt that way about Tenant.
56:10 I never saw Tenant.
56:12 It's good and I could recognize that it's good,
56:14 but at the same time, I'm like, there's too much of this going.
56:16 I think a lot of people talk about Tenant Interstellar Christopher
56:21 Nolan like that's a movie where he was just like super overindulgent.
56:25 Like it was like
56:26 dude I blink and I'm like the is this now?
56:28 Yeah.
56:28 It's like and now it's backwards and forward but you're
56:31 at the front and then ba like my understanding
56:34 of the movie is that a lot of the criticism
56:37 has just been that it's just too much movie.
56:40 Too crazy.
56:41 It's too much movie the movie.
56:42 Yeah.
56:42 I don't like it.
56:43 You know that's why I like something simple.
56:44 What's a movie that you could watch like all the time?
56:47 Like you'll throw it on every single time
56:49 or like what's like your top three funniest movies?
56:52 Uh funniest movies?
56:54 I'm going to remove the mask because I feel like that's an easy answer.
56:57 Um you think that's like the funniest movie?
56:59 I I whether it be because I I have rose tinted glistes
57:05 rose tinted glasses on when I watch it.
57:07 I do think it's an incredible movie.
57:11 Okay.
57:10 Um forgetting Sarah Marshall.
57:12 I can watch that.
57:13 That's a good answer.
57:13 Forgetting Sarah Marshall is I love that movie.
57:17 So perfectly funny.
57:19 Like
57:19 I think it is like a perfect movie, too.
57:20 It is so good.
57:21 And like I'll even throw in Super Bad.
57:24 Like
57:25 Yeah.
57:25 There are parts of it that don't age so well, but like it is so good.
57:33 Yeah.
57:31 Um and then a perfectly funny movie.
57:35 I mean, okay.
57:36 Also,
57:38 Just Friends.
57:39 I think Just Friends is so like
57:42 Christmas movie.
57:43 It it absolutely is a Christmas movie,
57:45 but like every part of that movie is funny.
57:47 Like there are certain parts that are like a little but like
57:49 Anna Ferris is so good in that dude.
57:52 She's so good in that [laughter] movie.
57:54 I love Anna Ferris.
57:55 Uh what about you?
57:56 And don't give the three that I gave.
57:58 Yeah.
57:58 Yeah.
57:58 I'm trying to think of like other movies
58:00 because you took Super Bad and Forgetting Sar Marshall.
58:02 But also a movie that I just think is just incredible.
58:05 I maybe the funniest movie I've ever seen is is Wedding Crashers.
58:08 Yeah, wedding crashes.
58:10 Good answer.
58:10 It's like one of the funniest movies I've ever seen in my life.
58:15 Old school is also very Maybe I'm just a VINCE BOND FAN.
58:18 WELL, YEAH.
58:19 ALSO, [laughter]
58:20 YEAH,
58:21 DODGEBALL.
58:21 Dodgeball is good.
58:22 See, Ben Stiller movies are also very funny to me,
58:25 dude.
58:25 Tropic Thunder.
58:26 Tropic Thunder
58:27 is so It is
58:29 Heavyweights.
58:29 Oh my god.
58:30 Miles was watching that the other day and I was just like, "Good on you, Miles."
58:33 Yeah, Heavyweights is a funny movie, man.
58:35 Dude, Tropic Thunder.
58:38 And it's such like a thing to talk about
58:40 now where it's just like why is that okay?
58:42 That movie would never And yes, I agree.
58:44 Like they probably shouldn't make that movie today,
58:46 but like it is so funny because it is a commentary on
58:55 actors.
58:55 You know what I mean?
58:56 Like it's not like
58:58 it is at points, but like it is more about Oh, there's certainly some stuff.
59:02 You [laughter] know, but I'm saying like it is just a commentary on like
59:06 the industry like those like hyper intense like Daniel J.
59:11 Lewis method actors that like I saw one thing like a story that he did a movie
59:15 where he played a paraplegic I think but like
59:18 they made him he like wouldn't walk on set.
59:21 He had to be carried or some like that.
59:23 I heard that uh for There Will Be Blood he like didn't shower the whole time.
59:28 I think that was Gangs of New York.
59:29 Oh maybe that one
59:30 which both good movies.
59:32 I love Gangs of New York, dude.
59:33 I just watched Marty Supreme.
59:34 Have you watched it yet?
59:38 No.
59:37 It's It's a movie, brother.
59:40 What does that mean?
59:43 Correct.
59:43 I already know it's a movie.
59:44 It's It's good, bro.
59:46 It's like a It's Uncut Gems, but like a little dialed up.
59:50 Why did you say that when we were talking about Gangs of New York?
59:53 [laughter]
59:54 I don't know.
59:54 Because Gangs of New York, yo.
59:57 Well, because Gangs of New York takes place in like the 1800s
1:00:00 in New York and and Marty Supreme is in like the 50s.
1:00:03 Oh, okay.
1:00:03 Okay.
1:00:04 You know.
1:00:04 Yeah.
1:00:05 Gangs of New York is great.
1:00:06 Love that.
1:00:07 Yeah.
1:00:07 He's a sloppy mess in that movie.
1:00:10 He's a stinky like he's a greasy
1:00:12 Oh my god.
1:00:13 And in There Will Be Blood, too.
1:00:15 I've never seen it.
1:00:16 Yeah.
1:00:17 It's a It's a
1:00:17 I got to watch that.
1:00:18 That's a really really GOOD MOVIE.
1:00:20 MY BOY.
1:00:21 NO.
1:00:21 WHAT'S THAT FROM?
1:00:22 That's from Harry Potter.
1:00:23 Well, that's also from There Will Be Blood.
1:00:25 Yeah.
1:00:26 Yeah.
1:00:26 you know.
1:00:26 Um, but I was thinking
1:00:27 my son, my boy.
1:00:29 I think the famous one from that is the milkshake part.
1:00:31 Well, yeah.
1:00:32 I drink your milkshake.
1:00:37 What's going on?
1:00:38 I don't know.
1:00:38 Like something rang up here.
1:00:42 What?
1:00:42 I hope I'm not having an aneurysm.
1:00:43 [laughter]

1:03:44 from Ace Ventura when Nature Calls is on auction.
1:03:48 I was going to say one of my answers is Ace Ventura 2.
1:03:53 Really?
1:03:52 One of the funniest movies you've seen.
1:03:54 Number which one's better?
1:03:55 He said two
1:03:57 two is that that's the right
1:03:59 what nature calls.
1:03:59 Yeah.
1:04:00 I feel like one is better.
1:04:02 One is the football.
1:04:04 Yes.
1:04:05 I mean there's some there's also some stuff that hasn't aged well in one.
1:04:08 It's pretty transphobic.
1:04:11 Is it?
1:04:12 Yeah.
1:04:13 You don't remember the whole like
1:04:14 It's a big twist of the movie.
1:04:17 Yeah.
1:04:16 Oh yeah.
1:04:18 [laughter] It's right there, brother.
1:04:21 I forgot.
1:04:22 Right there.
1:04:23 I put it on for miles one day and he was watching it
1:04:25 and like I forgot that there's like a full-on sex scene in that first movie.
1:04:30 I don't even remember.
1:04:31 It's like him and Courtney Cox, isn't it?
1:04:33 That is Courtney Cox.
1:04:36 Who's that?
1:04:36 That's not anyone.
1:04:37 Cork knee Cox.
1:04:39 But um are there any like movie props
1:04:42 that you would just open up the checkbook for?
1:04:44 Like if you saw that they were on display, you'd be like, I'll have that.
1:04:48 I don't know.
1:04:49 But I just saw a clip of Ed Sheeran saying that he like collects these things.
1:04:52 Like he said he just bought Edward Scissorhand's hands.
1:04:58 Oh,
1:04:57 he has a Dr.
1:04:58 Evil suit.
1:04:59 That's cool.
1:05:00 He's got Batman and Robin from Batman and Robin the movie.
1:05:04 Like their suits.
1:05:05 Well, okay.
1:05:06 From the George Clooney one, I think.
1:05:08 Okay.
1:05:10 Um
1:05:09 I wasn't going to ask, but I'm glad you specified.
1:05:11 I think I mean the ruby slippers that's like an easy one but like that's
1:05:15 on the I think that's on display at the Smithsonian or something like that in DC
1:05:22 maybe.
1:05:21 Oh, give me the golden snitch.
1:05:24 That's a good answer.
1:05:24 You know what I'm talking about.
1:05:25 Just like the little
1:05:26 Oh, I want the the what's that called?
1:05:29 I don't know.
1:05:30 The wand that they're all after that
1:05:33 the Elder Wand.
1:05:34 The Elder Wand.
1:05:34 The Elder Wand wasn't as cool.
1:05:36 I'd like I'd like uh Voldemort's wand.
1:05:38 That was the Elder Wand.
1:05:39 No.
1:05:39 Well, technically he never owned it because he wasn't the one that had disowned.
1:05:44 That was the one he was using though.
1:05:45 He was using it, but it was breaking
1:05:46 in his hand because he had not technically been
1:05:48 So, when you say Voldemort's wand, which one are you referring to?
1:05:50 The one that has the hook on the end that he holds like a like a
1:05:54 You know what I'm talking about?
1:05:56 It has like the hook on the end.
1:05:57 Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
1:06:00 Oh, it looks like a cane.
1:06:02 That is cool as hell.
1:06:04 What is this?
1:06:05 You could have that for 10 bucks.
1:06:07 And there's only two left if you want.
1:06:08 No,
1:06:09 I mean, yeah, I'm completely okay.
1:06:11 Oh, it's Halloween.
1:06:12 It's for Halloween.
1:06:12 Also, I would want didn't like expensive.
1:06:16 Do you remember that Tik Tok I showed you where it's like
1:06:19 uh like kiss Mary kill or whatever that and it's just LIKE [laughter]
1:06:26 just a little pause.
1:06:30 Um uh but any others that you could think of?
1:06:32 The Ghostbusters pack be pretty good.
1:06:35 Proton pack.
1:06:36 Proton pack.
1:06:36 Where are you on Ghostbusters?
1:06:39 Uh I've I've only seen the first one a few times and it's fine.
1:06:42 I was a big fan of the second one.
1:06:44 I'm like I like Bill Murray like especially like back
1:06:47 then like watching the movies that he was in then.
1:06:48 I think that he's like funny.
1:06:51 Okay.
1:06:51 Uh I know one that would scratch both itches you have.
1:06:55 I didn't even know I had one.
1:06:56 Yeah.
1:06:56 I was [laughter] say let alone two.
1:06:58 The T-Rex like or I'm not even going to go
1:07:01 that big because that would be way too expensive.
1:07:04 the the cane with the mosquito amber in it from Jurassic Park.
1:07:08 Oh, that's cool.
1:07:08 Yeah,
1:07:08 that would be cool cuz it's like you're
1:07:10 getting a fossil and you're getting a movie prom, but it's not real.
1:07:13 I'd rather get a mosquito.
1:07:16 Like a real mosquito.
1:07:16 Amber, are we allowed to own those?
1:07:19 Yeah, I don't see why not.
1:07:20 I don't I think the science in that movie has been very debunked.
1:07:25 Okay.
1:07:24 Like I don't think you can drill into a 65
1:07:28 millionyear-old mosquito and get any DNA out of it.
1:07:31 [snorts] That's fair.
1:07:33 Do they have Can you actually buy like mosquitoes and amber?
1:07:37 I have no idea.
1:07:38 Can you just buy amber?
1:07:39 That would be really cool.
1:07:40 What's amber?
1:07:41 Amber is like solidified like uh like tree sap
1:07:46 from like ancient times.
1:07:49 That would be cool.
1:07:49 Like you can buy like petrified wood.
1:07:51 I know that.
1:07:52 What is that?
1:07:53 You don't you don't know petrified wood?
1:07:54 Not really.
1:07:55 It's like ancient wood that has been burnt
1:07:58 and like charred basically and it becomes almost like glass-like.
1:08:03 What?
1:08:04 Never heard of that?
1:08:04 Like glass like see-through?
1:08:07 No, but like the like it's kind
1:08:08 of a similar like hardness and like texture to it.
1:08:12 I really Yeah.
1:08:13 No, I don't.
1:08:13 I might be this up.
1:08:14 When I think of petrified, I think back to Harry Potter.
1:08:17 Yes.
1:08:17 I mean, you can you could buy petrified,
1:08:20 you know, Moaning Myrtle if you really want.
1:08:22 [laughter]
1:08:24 Yeah.
1:08:24 Um Oh, having Harry Potter stuff would be cool.
1:08:28 I mean, you can just go to Universal and get them.
1:08:30 No, no, no.
1:08:31 Like the actual Oh, like you want like the real Yeah.
1:08:34 You don't want any of the fake
1:08:35 I mean, dude, if I was an actor and you're
1:08:37 like Daniel Radcliffe and you're doing Harry Potter, I'm taking mad
1:08:42 Yeah.
1:08:42 I mean, they probably would get in trouble.
1:08:45 No, bro.
1:08:45 I'm Daniel Radcliffe.
1:08:46 I own this Technically, you don't,
1:08:49 bro.
1:08:49 I mean, Sue me.
1:08:51 They will.
1:08:52 All right.
1:08:54 And guess who will win?
1:08:55 The major motion picture studio that is going to Yeah, dude.
1:08:59 Yeah.
1:08:59 You're not going to take me down, bro.
1:09:00 I made you all this money.
1:09:01 Chill.
1:09:02 I don't think that's how that works.
1:09:03 I think so.
1:09:04 I think you have some bargaining ship.
1:09:05 I mean, maybe some.
1:09:07 Just like a few things.
1:09:08 I'm not saying take the take, you know, whatever.
1:09:11 Voldemort's nose off his face.
1:09:12 I would want the actual owl that uses Headwig.
1:09:16 Like then you get an owl and you get a cool thing from a movie.
1:09:21 I would get the Nimbus.
1:09:23 Oh, Nimbus 2000.
1:09:24 Do or the Firebolt.
1:09:25 That one was cooler.
1:09:26 Yeah, that was cool.
1:09:27 Cooler name.
1:09:27 I mean, I'm a Nimbus guy.
1:09:29 Uh if if they sold those and they were real, would you would you get up there?
1:09:36 Absolutely.
1:09:37 Would you?
1:09:38 1 million%.
1:09:40 But you don't like flying in planes because I'm not in control.
1:09:45 You don't know how to fly a plane.
1:09:47 You're damn right.
1:09:48 So I don't You know how to fly a broom?
1:09:50 I would learn.
1:09:50 If I'm getting a broom, I'm learning how to fly a broom, dude.
1:09:53 I would just be like, "Yo, I'm on my way into work."
1:09:58 Probably.
1:09:58 be so cold.
1:09:59 Oh, I mean it would be [laughter] okay.
1:10:01 It would be a little cold, but I would dress appropriately.
1:10:04 Dude, are you kidding me?
1:10:05 Yeah, that would be cool.
1:10:07 You think they have a seat belt?
1:10:09 No.
1:10:09 Have you not watched Harry Potter?
1:10:11 But you have to add one.
1:10:13 Why?
1:10:13 Cuz you're flying on a broom.
1:10:14 I mean, if Also, isn't it Think about how you're sitting on it.
1:10:18 Wouldn't that hurt?
1:10:20 Yeah, my nuts would be split in half.
1:10:22 The Nimbus or the Firebolt, I don't remember which one,
1:10:25 had like little like foot stirrups on it.
1:10:27 So you can kind of take a little bit of pressure off of your coup.
1:10:31 Yeah, but my balls are getting beat up, dude.
1:10:34 Also, I'm getting ch Don't talk about my balls.
1:10:37 I didn't I didn't say anything.
1:10:39 Also, just leaning on a broom.
1:10:40 If anything, a broom is more well equipped to deal
1:10:43 with your balls than most other things you ride on.
1:10:47 You can just have one nut go one way, one nut go the other.
1:10:50 That's not the most comfortable way to have my nuts.
1:10:53 Why?
1:10:54 Because they're a package deal.
1:10:55 They'd rather be together hugging each other.
1:10:57 All right.
1:10:57 So, put them on one side and then then
1:10:58 the broom will just hold it against your leg.
1:11:01 Still pressing up against me.
1:11:02 I mean, it can if you got good enough nuts,
1:11:05 it'll just press up against like in between.
1:11:07 Tell you what, I'd rather a magic carpet.
1:11:10 You can lay down, bro.
1:11:11 You can lay down or hold on to it like this.
1:11:14 I feel more in control when I have the thing in my grasp like this.
1:11:18 You know what I mean?
1:11:18 Hold on to the edge of the carpet like this.
1:11:20 And you can just like Yeah.
1:11:22 But like you like So, what am I going to do actually?
1:11:24 Yeah, you don't even fly it.
1:11:26 You just tell the carpet he's a guy.
1:11:27 You tell him, "Bro, get me there.
1:11:29 Let's just go, dude." Yeah.
1:11:30 It's like having an Uber driver.
1:11:32 That's a really good point.
1:11:33 And you can kind of talk to it, you know?
1:11:34 It has a personality.
1:11:35 The little sides are like, "Here we are.
1:11:37 Here we are.
1:11:37 Now we're talking.
1:11:39 Would you rather have a magic carpet, a magic broom?
1:11:45 I realized you didn't think further than [laughter] those."
1:11:49 Or a Delorean.
1:11:51 Does it go back in time?
1:11:53 Yeah.
1:11:53 Yeah.
1:11:53 But then you got to get back here.
1:11:56 That's lightning.
1:11:57 Easy.
1:11:58 I'm I'm taking the carpet every time.
1:12:01 I think I'm taking the broom.
1:12:02 I kind of like the You're passing up a literal time machine.
1:12:05 A literal time machine.
1:12:07 I don't What do I need to go back?
1:12:09 Well, I'm fine.
1:12:10 Think about this.
1:12:10 If you were to go back in time, how cool is that actually?
1:12:14 Unless you're going to do something that's going to like,
1:12:16 you know, benefit the world, which I am incapable of doing mostly.
1:12:20 Well, it also depends on what logic of time travel and you
1:12:24 know time uh like affecting the future that you subscribe to.
1:12:28 If we're going based off of the back to the future rules,
1:12:33 you could actually do more damage than you think.
1:12:35 You know what I mean?
1:12:36 But even so, even without that, like how cool is it to go back in time?
1:12:40 Like what am I going to do?
1:12:42 What are you going to do?
1:12:43 Like you want to go back and see what a dinosaur then what?
1:12:46 No, I wouldn't want to get stuck there.
1:12:48 But that's what I mean.
1:12:49 So, what would you even do at a time?
1:12:50 That's what I said.
1:12:51 Then you're stuck there and you need to get back.
1:12:53 I'm assuming I have two trips.
1:12:55 Take as many trips as you want.
1:12:56 What are you doing in the past?
1:12:57 I don't know.
1:12:58 I mean, can I bring Hold on.
1:12:59 Wait.
1:13:00 Hold on.
1:13:00 He's on to something.
1:13:01 Sports almanac.
1:13:02 Here.
1:13:02 I mean, that's not a bad idea.
1:13:03 That's That was going to be my question.
1:13:04 Can I bring stuff back with me?
1:13:06 The sports almanac.
1:13:08 Yeah.
1:13:08 Back to the future, too.
1:13:09 The winner of every sports team for like a hundred years.
1:13:12 I've never seen any of the Back to the Future movies.
1:13:15 Well, that's why he's that's why he's arguing like this.
1:13:17 He
1:13:18 Well, no.
1:13:18 If anything, if anything,
1:13:19 his point his points would only be strengthened by watching those movies
1:13:23 because there's there's shenanigans and whimsy about because of the time travel
1:13:27 whimsy.
1:13:27 [laughter] I just don't think that time travel backwards would be
1:13:33 actually that cool that I would pass up a magic carpet.
1:13:36 I mean, it would you would be able Hold on.
1:13:39 You would be able to reap the benefits of it financially.
1:13:42 for instance.
1:13:43 So, go back in time and pick up
1:13:45 like 30 Pokemon first edition shadowless booster boxes.
1:13:48 Bring them back with you.
1:13:50 You're sitting on a couple millie, baby.
1:13:54 So, we do know that the Delorean can go to the future, does it?
1:13:59 Right.
1:14:00 Yes, it does in the second one.
1:14:01 He hasn't seen it.
1:14:02 It's called Back to the Future.
1:14:04 So, like it goes back and forth.
1:14:05 Yeah, but if you're back then that was the title of the first movie.
1:14:09 They they then
1:14:09 the second one was Back to the Future.
1:14:10 But if you're going back to the future, that just means the present.
1:14:14 Because that would mean that like you were in the future because of the present.
1:14:18 They do go to the future.
1:14:20 They do go to the future.
1:14:21 They go to the distant past.
1:14:22 The back to the future name is in reference to in the first movie,
1:14:25 they go to the past and they need to get back to their timeline,
1:14:29 which is the future of where they currently are.
1:14:31 Even the future, being able to time travel to the future.
1:14:35 What can you do there?
1:14:36 You're basically an idiot.
1:14:38 I mean, no, he's he's right about the sports almanac.
1:14:40 That's a big thing and that's a part of of of
1:14:42 you want to be spoiled.
1:14:44 You want to you want to know who won the World Series.
1:14:46 It's not about knowing.
1:14:47 It's about being able to financially capitalize on it.
1:14:50 I'm good with that.
1:14:51 If they're at like the beginning of the season,
1:14:53 like remember a couple years ago when
1:14:54 the Washington Nationals won the World Series.
1:14:56 Even if you have all of the money, then what?
1:14:58 You still don't have a magic carpet.
1:15:00 How long do you think you're going to keep
1:15:01 your magic carpet once people see you have a magic carpet?
1:15:04 Yeah, exactly.
1:15:04 People are going to want that They can't get it.
1:15:07 How can they not?
1:15:08 You're not a magic person.
1:15:09 You don't suddenly have like security.
1:15:11 You don't have the genie.
1:15:12 Now the Okay, you have a magic card.
1:15:14 They could take that.
1:15:14 Boom.
1:15:15 Well, they wouldn't know I'm going back and forth cuz blow that up.
1:15:18 And they also wouldn't know how to use the Delorean.
1:15:22 So the magic carpet is a person.
1:15:23 It's sentient.
1:15:24 It could be like, I'm not flying for you.
1:15:25 I'm a carpet.
1:15:26 Well, you would have to build a really good rapport with this carpet.
1:15:29 Yeah, we're boys.
1:15:33 I if we're arguing like what?
1:15:35 Like going to the future and reaping some sort of financial benefits.
1:15:38 with me.
1:15:39 I'm with you.
1:15:40 If we're talking about just purely living in the cuz like
1:15:43 you also need to hit 88
1:15:45 in order to get the Delorean to go.
1:15:47 And that's not necessarily easy everywhere you go.
1:15:50 I mean,
1:15:50 I could get it to hit 88.
1:15:52 I mean, think about it like this.
1:15:53 If I put a Delorean outside right now, you're not going anywhere, buddy.
1:15:58 I mean, once you hit the highway Yeah.
1:16:00 What highway in New York will you open it up to hit 88?
1:16:04 4 am any of them.
1:16:07 That's unsafe, Joey.
1:16:09 I mean, guess you know what's easier?
1:16:12 Flying a magic carpet.
1:16:14 Yeah, but if you watch I guess you know what?
1:16:16 If you watch the original Aladdin,
1:16:17 they go from like Agriba to like Greece and like somewhere else very quickly.
1:16:23 So, the speed of the magic carpet is pretty fast.
1:16:25 That's what I'm saying.
1:16:27 But also, if I have and it saved his life,
1:16:30 but also if I have a magic broom, magic could also exist elsewhere.
1:16:36 The implication is that if this broom is magic,
1:16:39 that's not the implication.
1:16:40 Also, if I jump off the Empire State Building,
1:16:42 my magic carpet could just capture me.
1:16:44 I mean, your your
1:16:45 Why are you jumping off?
1:16:47 I'm saying that's an option.
1:16:49 Like, your magic carpet is like your bodyguard.
1:16:52 You can't fall.
1:16:53 And I have the option to go see a dinosaur.
1:16:55 That does.
1:16:56 Congrats.
1:16:56 But this is what I'm saying with time travel.
1:16:58 You go back and actually think about the utility of this, right?
1:17:01 If you have a if you have a time machine forever
1:17:03 and I have a a magic carpet forever in my experience,
1:17:06 you can go back and then you can like invest in Apple or whatever
1:17:10 the you want to do and then you have all the money in the world.
1:17:12 It's a great point.
1:17:12 And what are you going to do with it though?
1:17:15 What is that anything?
1:17:16 Bro, I have a magic carpet.
1:17:18 Do you know like what I could do with that?
1:17:20 I would pay people to steal your magic carpet.
1:17:23 They can't get it.
1:17:24 Well, also here's the thing.
1:17:26 You go back in time to the time of the dinosaurs.
1:17:28 The terrain has not yet had the effects of humankind on it.
1:17:32 Where are you gonna drive to open that up to 88?
1:17:36 That's also fair.
1:17:37 Just open land.
1:17:38 I'll drive it.
1:17:38 Put on
1:17:39 open land, brother.
1:17:39 It's not necessary.
1:17:40 Off-road tires.
1:17:42 Off-road tires.
1:17:42 So, you think with off-road tires you'll be able
1:17:44 to get to 88 doing this all the time?
1:17:46 So, you're both in on the Delorean just for financial gain.
1:17:49 I honestly I'm kind of standing my ground on the magic uh uh uh broom.
1:17:55 That's the worst one.
1:17:56 I don't think it's the worst one.
1:17:57 I was the worst one.
1:17:58 Easily the worst one because it hurts your balls.
1:18:00 Guess what?
1:18:01 Guess what you can't do on your magic carpet.
1:18:03 Guess what you can't do?
1:18:04 Have your girlfriend with you.
1:18:06 You damn right I can.
1:18:07 Oh yeah.
1:18:08 Get on this thing.
1:18:09 We'll both sit on it.
1:18:10 Get it even more uncomfortable.
1:18:11 What is more romantic than being able to be held by your partner
1:18:14 behind you and they're looking over your shoulder and you're bobbing and we
1:18:18 I'll tell you what, a picnic in the sky on the way to Greece.
1:18:24 Yeah, but first of all, that would be incredibly cold.
1:18:27 Okay.
1:18:27 The air pressure is significantly less up there.
1:18:30 So what?
1:18:30 You're up there eating grapes and cured meats at minus30°.
1:18:35 Who's going to 35,000 ft?
1:18:37 We go right here.
1:18:39 Camera's getting hit by a plane.
1:18:40 But then also go to like But then also, guess what?
1:18:43 You need to hold on to a magic carpet.
1:18:46 Well, guess what?
1:18:46 A magic carpet Guess what?
1:18:47 A magic carpet.
1:18:49 No, you don't.
1:18:49 Guess what?
1:18:50 A magic carpet famously does not have handles.
1:18:54 Brother, it can
1:18:55 go watch the movie.
1:18:56 YES.
1:18:56 ALADDIN IS LIKE THIS.
1:18:58 YEAH.
1:18:58 When it's intense.
1:18:59 But he's when he's flying with with Jasmine,
1:19:01 they're just like and they're just chilling and falling in love.
1:19:07 They are chilling.
1:19:08 They are falling in love.
1:19:10 Shimmer splendid.
1:19:12 Tell me, princess, now where did you last your heart decide?
1:19:18 And it's when I'm sorry, guys.
1:19:21 I can open your eyes.
1:19:24 [laughter] take you under pie wonder over
1:19:30 sideways and under this is this is Disney.
1:19:33 Oh yeah, they'll us up.
1:19:35 They will hammer [laughter] us.
1:19:36 It's a cover.
1:19:37 It's a cover.
1:19:37 I know.
1:19:38 You guys doing really good.
1:19:38 Like I like That's right.
1:19:40 If the Backstreet Boys are going to bend us over for some money, then
1:19:44 if I swear to God [laughter] damn right Disney's going to
1:19:47 Thank you for stepping in cuz that would have lasted another 10 minutes.
1:19:49 See, this is why he earns his keep here.
1:19:51 Yeah.
1:19:51 Um I'm taking the magic carpet though.
1:19:53 Let's stop being because guess what?
1:19:55 Watch this.
1:19:56 Watch this.
1:19:57 Watch this.
1:19:58 All right.
1:19:58 I'm going to do a little thing here.
1:19:59 Yeah.
1:20:00 Yeah.
1:20:00 I for I forgot I kept this under here.
1:20:02 [laughter] Watch this.
1:20:06 You're getting thrown off.
1:20:07 You know what?
1:20:08 You're not bucking me off of a magic broom, baby.
1:20:12 I'm holding on for dear life.
1:20:14 Like this.
1:20:15 You think you're breaking that grip?
1:20:17 No.
1:20:19 Don't you have to learn how to fly the broom?
1:20:22 Yeah, I'll learn that.
1:20:22 Yeah.
1:20:22 I'm not even flying the
1:20:24 Yeah, he's chilling.
1:20:25 So, you're at the will of somebody else.
1:20:27 You are willing.
1:20:28 I know how you are.
1:20:29 You're willing to give up in such a vulnerable state.
1:20:32 You're giving up control to this sentient carpet.
1:20:35 What do you think flying in a plane is?
1:20:37 The exact same thing.
1:20:38 And you've expressed that you don't like that for that reason.
1:20:40 But I do it.
1:20:41 You do it.
1:20:42 But it So, you're in a a significantly
1:20:44 more vulnerable state when you're on a magic carpet.
1:20:47 Yeah.
1:20:47 And you're just gonna give up and just hope that this collection of threading
1:20:51 is going to not just lose its mind and kill you one day.
1:20:54 Yeah, it's magic.
1:20:56 You know how you're in ultimate control?
1:20:58 If this thing isn't sentient and you have it in your own,
1:21:01 as soon as that thing decides it's not magic anymore,
1:21:04 you're on a broomstick in the sky.
1:21:06 You can't make up like that.
1:21:08 YOU JUST DID.
1:21:09 NO, I'M presenting a potential hypothetical.
1:21:11 There is no world in which any of these stop
1:21:13 being magical because you have the exact same argument.
1:21:16 If the carpet is magic,
1:21:19 that means that it is the magic carpet that we know from Aladdin and you're
1:21:25 just you believe that this magic carpet is
1:21:28 just 100% completely neutral good all the time.
1:21:32 Yes.
1:21:32 No chaotic elements.
1:21:33 When was it bad?
1:21:34 [sighs] [gasps] It was it was there were some points
1:21:37 where it was a little cheeky in those movies.
1:21:39 You know, it's being a little funny and
1:21:40 not when it came to Aladdin.
1:21:43 It [snorts] did save him a couple times.
1:21:45 Multiple.
1:21:46 Mine's science.
1:21:46 You guys have to rely on magic.
1:21:48 Yours is the dumbest.
1:21:49 I mean, actually, NO.
1:21:50 FRANKS IS PRETTY.
1:21:51 HE'S A BROOM.
1:21:51 IT'S A BROOM.
1:21:52 YOURS IS THE worst answer.
1:21:53 His is doesn't make sense.
1:21:54 Yeah.
1:21:54 Yours is a car from the 1980s.
1:21:56 If science doesn't give up, then the transmission is going.
1:22:00 Are you kidding me?
1:22:01 It's true.
1:22:01 It's true.
1:22:02 It's true, dude.
1:22:04 I can go back in time.
1:22:06 You're going to need a new You're going to need to get the tires redone, dude.
1:22:11 Imagine this, too.
1:22:12 What happens if you got a flat tire in the the Mesazoic era, bro?
1:22:16 Who's cooler?
1:22:17 That'd be a problem.
1:22:18 Who's cooler?
1:22:18 Right.
1:22:19 You pulling up to the bar in that car
1:22:24 with a mad scientist in the passenger seat, by the way, or me standing and just
1:22:30 landing with my carpet and then it takes off.
1:22:33 You're going to fly standing?
1:22:35 Ew, dude.
1:22:37 Not always.
1:22:38 That is disgusting.
1:22:39 When I'm arriving also, it turns into stairs.
1:22:41 I walk down it.
1:22:44 What if I walk out of the car with Einstein or something?
1:22:46 I want you to be like, "Who the is that guy?"
1:22:48 Yeah.
1:22:48 What is that going to do for the normal person today?
1:22:51 Oh, look.
1:22:51 Cool.
1:22:51 Einstein.
1:22:52 We have 8 million of him.
1:22:53 Freddy Mercury.
1:22:54 That would that would be cool.
1:22:56 Only if he's singing, though.
1:22:58 Of course he's singing.
1:22:58 That's the That's the agree.
1:22:59 So, I'm I'm kind of [laughter]
1:23:02 Are you Can you bring people to the future that are
1:23:05 They do that in Bill and Ted.
1:23:06 Yeah.
1:23:07 It' probably mess up some things.
1:23:08 Not if you bring them back to the exact spot they left.
1:23:10 I mean, again, it depends on what logic of time travel you subscribe to.
1:23:15 You also assume that Freddy Mercury is going to be like, "Yeah, sure.
1:23:17 I'll get in, kid." I mean, there are ways that you can get Freddy Mercury there.
1:23:21 There are ways.
1:23:23 Cocaine.
1:23:24 Cocaine.
1:23:25 He'll get in orgies.
1:23:26 Getting in orgies.
1:23:27 [laughter]
1:23:27 Just tell yo, you won't even believe the orgies they're having nowadays.
1:23:32 No, I'm I'm taking I'm taking the the magic carpet.
1:23:36 What's cooler?
1:23:37 you showing up on a carpet or me pulling in like a BMX like on a magic broom.
1:23:48 Yeah.
1:23:48 [laughter] Me being like, "Yo,
1:23:50 that's fire." And then people are going to be like,
1:23:51 "What are you supposed to be?" Alphaba.
1:23:55 You made it cooler.
1:23:57 No, I didn't.
1:23:57 Yes, you did.
1:23:58 I That was the standard.
1:23:59 That's what I was.
1:24:00 Can you imagine me wearing a flowy black gown on this magic
1:24:04 broom and I go to the top and I'm like,
1:24:06 "If you can't find me, look to the western sky." Dude, what?
1:24:12 The government's shooting you out of the sky.
1:24:13 Yes, they are.
1:24:14 However, that's what I'm saying about your carpet.
1:24:17 I'd be low.
1:24:19 They're You think they're just going to be like, "We can't find him.
1:24:22 He's just right there.
1:24:23 I'm underneath the radar."
1:24:25 Yeah, but guess what everyone has nowadays?
1:24:28 Phones, brother.
1:24:29 Yeah, they're finding all of us.
1:24:31 Especially you donuts.
1:24:32 What's gonna happen when you go back to the past and there's no more gasoline.
1:24:36 I wouldn't I would monitor it properly.
1:24:39 Yeah, but you would go back in time and go, "Huh, look." And then you go home.
1:24:43 Yeah.
1:24:43 And you'd also go and get mauled,
1:24:45 whether it be by animals or any illness or sickness
1:24:48 that has since been long dead that's going to kill you.
1:24:51 Also, think about this.
1:24:52 You're going to go in the past and then you're going to make
1:24:54 a bunch of money so that your present self can have a bunch of money.
1:24:56 Then you're just why would why go to the past
1:24:58 again if you have all the money in the future?
1:24:59 You don't have it in the past.
1:25:00 I go to the future and see what's going on.
1:25:02 Yeah, you'd be the dumbest person there.
1:25:04 But then I go back.
1:25:05 Dumbest is a stretch because if you put Albert Einstein here today,
1:25:09 he's still smarter than any of us.
1:25:13 Uh that is a a an like I don't even know how whatever.
1:25:15 I don't even know how true that is to be honest.
1:25:17 You would put him in front of a computer and he'd probably be like,
1:25:19 "What is this?" [laughter] You know, like
1:25:23 I think we're all smarter than Einstein.
1:25:24 We've had this argument.
1:25:25 We're not doing this again.
1:25:26 I don't think that we're smarter than Einstein.
1:25:28 I not smarter than Einstein.
1:25:30 Duh.
1:25:31 Um, but I don't know.
1:25:34 We have more access to knowledge than Einstein did.
1:25:36 That's what I'm saying.
1:25:37 That I could say that we're not we're not relitigating this argument.
1:25:41 I hear what you're saying.
1:25:42 A magic carpet is incredibly cool.
1:25:45 It is not as like that's like saying like what's cooler,
1:25:49 laying on a like mat in a pool or someone that rides up on a chopper?
1:25:54 What's cooler, Joey?
1:25:56 That's not what we're saying.
1:25:58 That's exactly what we're saying.
1:26:01 No.
1:26:00 What's cooler, a segue or a motorcycle?
1:26:05 Okay.
1:26:05 Flying in an airplane.
1:26:06 Would you rather be laying down or in the back sitting on a bike?
1:26:12 If I was in control of it, I mean, but like sure,
1:26:15 there are some design flaws that maybe I would
1:26:17 be able to edit at different points in time.
1:26:20 YEAH, THERE'S SOME FLAWS.
1:26:21 ALL RIGHT.
1:26:21 That maybe there are some design flaws.
1:26:24 You're on a carpet.
1:26:27 Yeah.
1:26:26 Your life, your well-being and safety is is
1:26:29 just basically at the will of THE THREAD COUNT.
1:26:32 YOURS, TOO.
1:26:33 NO, mine's a piece of sturdy magic wood.
1:26:37 Also, it'd be more like a bike without the bike seat.
1:26:39 You're just sitting on raw, thin wood.
1:26:41 Yeah, dude.
1:26:42 You're butthole is toast.
1:26:44 First of all, do not reference the standard at which
1:26:48 my will be after riding on a magic uh post.
1:26:53 post.
1:26:54 I'll just get some biker shorts.
1:26:56 What are they called?
1:26:57 Biker shorts.
1:26:58 There [laughter] you go.
1:26:58 I'll get some biker shorts and I'll throw a pillow in my pants.
1:27:02 I'll be okay, dude.
1:27:04 [laughter] Throw a pillow in my pants.
1:27:06 I'll be cool.
1:27:07 Got to throw a pillow in your pants.
1:27:09 I'm going to like take a nap on my carpet.
1:27:12 Yeah.
1:27:12 And then you're going to roll over and roll to your doom.
1:27:15 No, cuz it could catch me.
1:27:17 You better hope it can catch you because that's the other part
1:27:20 of it is that it needs to find you and get you because if
1:27:23 you remember in Aladdin like he falls and that thing needs to go
1:27:27 and get it and sometimes it's not it it cuts it a little close.
1:27:31 So the anxiety of possibly falling to your death better be worth it.
1:27:35 I mean I'm not going to fall asleep but I could I could lay down for sure.
1:27:40 You can lay down.
1:27:40 Sure.
1:27:42 But then you're laying on a carpet.
1:27:45 Could my Delorean fly
1:27:47 like his?
1:27:48 It does have the ability to fly.
1:27:50 It does.
1:27:51 Oh, my answer's so good.
1:27:52 Your answer sucks.
1:27:54 Still, you he doesn't need the the ground to even uh teleport.
1:27:58 He just flies at 88 miles per hour.
1:28:01 [gasps] Boy, that does add a bit of a monkey wrench into my argument.
1:28:04 So, it's kind of like the Harry Potter car.
1:28:08 Yeah, sure.
1:28:09 Yeah, except it could teleport.
1:28:11 Can't teleport.
1:28:12 It can go back in time.
1:28:13 It wasn't like teleporting from like here to France.
1:28:17 It was going back in time.
1:28:18 So, you're not getting that.
1:28:20 You also can't go anywhere like cool except the past or the future.
1:28:26 There's no practical use for it in today's like day and age.
1:28:29 I mean, you can take the car.
1:28:30 You can drive.
1:28:30 I have a I have a flying car at the end of the day.
1:28:32 I I still have a flying car.
1:28:35 Yeah, that does change things for me now because the carpet
1:28:38 is like But the other thing is the accessibility of the carpet.
1:28:41 You're also getting something in the carpet
1:28:42 that you're not getting in the Delorean.
1:28:45 You're getting personality.
1:28:46 You're getting something that you might enjoy.
1:28:50 Yeah.
1:28:50 Compared to you're just getting nuts and bolts.
1:28:53 I get heat and AC and time travel and flight.
1:28:56 All things that don't matter when you have a cool carpet.
1:28:58 I'm helping you here.
1:28:59 I still think my answer's the best.
1:29:01 [laughter] The weather is a toughy.
1:29:05 That's another one.
1:29:05 I mean, all of us.
1:29:06 I mean, you and I are both with the weather.
1:29:08 Don't say all of us.
1:29:09 Not me.
1:29:09 Also [laughter] in a in a thunderstorm.
1:29:12 That would be cool.
1:29:13 No, dude.
1:29:14 For you.
1:29:15 I mean, why?
1:29:15 It's wood.
1:29:17 Yeah, but it cracks wood.
1:29:21 Yeah.
1:29:22 When it strikes it.
1:29:23 Yeah.
1:29:24 I I will take the chances.
1:29:25 Yours.
1:29:26 If thunder hits yours, it's literally turning to dust and you're falling.
1:29:30 This is a stupid question.
1:29:31 Maybe.
1:29:31 I mean, what is this show if not a collection of those?
1:29:34 I mean, the last hour and a half have been probably pretty stupid.
1:29:37 But lightning, right?
1:29:39 It strikes that uh bolt.
1:29:45 Is it like like the damage that that bolt can do?
1:29:52 Like obviously it does damage to where it strikes,
1:29:55 but can you get damage by this part?
1:29:58 Do you know what I'm saying?
1:29:59 Like in the middle?
1:29:59 That's a good question.
1:30:00 The light part of it.
1:30:02 I I imagine.
1:30:03 Doesn't it also strike from the ground up?
1:30:05 Isn't that like a thing?
1:30:08 I have no idea.
1:30:09 It's not what it does in the cartoons or seen it in life, too.
1:30:13 It's
1:30:15 You saying it spawns from the ground?
1:30:17 I thought I saw I'm not saying I I know that.
1:30:20 I thought that was something I had heard.
1:30:22 I think there is something about the electricity in the ground like you
1:30:24 can like right where lightning strikes before it does something with the ground.
1:30:30 I'm sure that there like since it is like it's it's a form of energy.
1:30:34 So, I'm sure there is a surrounding area that will also be affected by it.
1:30:39 Yeah.
1:30:39 I didn't know if it was just like where it ends up
1:30:42 or the entirety of the strike like that could be damaging to some Oh,
1:30:46 well, maybe if it does hit something on the way down, it would just stop there.
1:30:53 No, I think it would be powerful enough to go through it.
1:30:55 Well, planes get struck by lightning.
1:30:57 Yeah, but it also probably then goes down.
1:31:01 Oh, I don't think so.
1:31:02 I think that it hits the plane and it kind of like distribute out.
1:31:04 Does lightning strike the ocean?
1:31:06 Of course, dude.
1:31:07 What?
1:31:08 It probably mostly strikes the ocean.
1:31:12 More likely to hit the ocean than anything else.
1:31:14 Well, because of of just there's more ocean area than there is land area.
1:31:18 But like yeah, in the middle of the ocean is there lightning strikes?
1:31:22 Of course.
1:31:22 I mean, I've seen it.
1:31:24 You could stand on the edge of a beach and watch a like a storm or something.
1:31:28 But how do you know it's not hitting like a little body of land out there?
1:31:32 What is it?
1:31:32 Why does it need to be land?
1:31:34 I'm asking.
1:31:36 I'm saying this is a tough question to find the answer to, but you are right.
1:31:40 The it's called the return stroke.
1:31:43 It's
1:31:44 Hey,
1:31:46 this
1:31:45 Hey yo, it's like a reachound.
1:31:49 That's what they That's what they should the gay
1:31:51 community should rename reach to the return stroke.
1:31:54 All right.
1:31:54 It's a bright, powerful electric current that travels
1:31:57 upward from the ground towards the cloud.
1:31:58 It is extremely dangerous because it carries millions of volts
1:32:00 and heats the air to approximately 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
1:32:04 Excuse me.
1:32:05 Hotter than the surface of the sun in that flash is what it says.
1:32:08 No shot.
1:32:08 I don't believe hotter than the surface.
1:32:09 I don't believe that either.
1:32:10 Yeah, I don't think people survive it.
1:32:13 Probably not.
1:32:13 How's that possible?
1:32:15 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit is not hotter than the surface.
1:32:18 What site are you on?
1:32:19 Let me guess.
1:32:20 Let me guess.
1:32:21 Let me guess.
1:32:21 It sounds like you texted Frank for this answer.
1:32:23 Excuse you.
1:32:24 [laughter] That sounds like it's an AI answer.
1:32:28 It is.
1:32:31 Trust scientist.
1:32:32 Is it?
1:32:33 Well, how do we get hold of?
1:32:34 You know what?
1:32:34 Get in your Delorean.
1:32:35 Go bring Albert.
1:32:36 I mean, we've talked about trying to get Neil on the show.
1:32:39 We've talked about trying to get Hank Green.
1:32:40 Like, we're going to have to answer.
1:32:42 Is Hank Green a scientist?
1:32:44 Is he?
1:32:45 He's the scientist, dude.
1:32:47 But he's a scientist.
1:32:48 I don't know.
1:32:49 He knows science things, I guess.
1:32:51 What what differentiates a scientist from a non-scientist?
1:32:54 It's just they just know more.
1:32:55 A degree title.
1:32:56 I don't think that they are called scientist Joe.
1:32:59 Scientist Frank.
1:33:00 No, they have I think practicing.
1:33:02 No, there's like you're like a physicist.
1:33:05 Yeah.
1:33:05 So, they are studying.
1:33:08 They have a PhD in physics.
1:33:10 Frank, if you just like know things about science, you're not a scientist.
1:33:15 I think you are to some degree.
1:33:17 You You need to be like certified.
1:33:19 But you can get a degree in a specialized field,
1:33:23 but like there's no degree of scientistism, right?
1:33:28 No, this it's physicist, it's chemist.
1:33:31 Yes, but those would be science like of the sciences there.
1:33:34 You're a scientist.
1:33:36 Like if you have one of those titles, then you're considered.
1:33:39 So in theory, you need a degree like a a bachelor of science.
1:33:44 I don't know if it's a bachelor or if you need but you need a science degree.
1:33:48 Yes.
1:33:48 So, one of us here is technically a scientist.
1:33:53 No, two of us here are technically scientists.
1:33:57 Two of us.
1:33:58 He's got a degree.
1:34:00 It's It's not any degree.
1:34:01 It's not criminal justice.
1:34:03 And you're a scientist.
1:34:03 But the literal degree says Bachelor of Science.
1:34:07 The major is was criminal justice.
1:34:09 Now, we have to look up who's a scientist.
1:34:11 Like this is I mean, what are we doing?
1:34:13 So, what are we looking up exactly?
1:34:14 Well, well, why don't you look up is Frank
1:34:16 Alvarez from the dumbest podcast that's ever existed a scientist?
1:34:20 Why don't we look that up?
1:34:22 Better yet, why don't we call up the national Let's call up the White House
1:34:26 and let THEM KNOW THERE'S A SCIENTIST here
1:34:28 that needs to a pay raise or something.
1:34:31 Do do me a favor.
1:34:32 Don't give my full name when you call the White House.
1:34:34 That might be a little troublesome.
1:34:35 [laughter] I cannot believe the attack I would just on the receiving end on.
1:34:42 Google that exact quote.
1:34:44 [laughter] What?
1:34:44 It's Frank Al on the screen.
1:34:47 Is Frank Alvarez from the dumbest podcast.
1:34:51 [laughter] What was it?
1:34:52 That's ever existed.
1:34:53 That's ever existed.
1:34:55 A a scientist.
1:34:57 A scientist.
1:34:58 I'm going to say this.
1:35:00 A scientist is fundamentally defined
1:35:04 as a commitment to systemic inquiry using observation,
1:35:07 experimentation, and scientific method to acquire
1:35:10 new knowledge about the natural world.
1:35:12 It's all it takes.
1:35:14 You guys ARE [laughter] SO I'M A SCIENTIST.
1:35:18 Hey buddy, first of all, that octave very high.
1:35:21 Second off, that doesn't make you a scientist.
1:35:23 Yes, it does.
1:35:25 So much of my degree was studying the scientific
1:35:29 method in terms of social sciences which can
1:35:31 be applied to the natural world as a result
1:35:34 of the societal impacts that criminal justice has.
1:35:41 God, I hate this show.
1:35:44 Bachelor of Science, dude.
1:35:46 If anything, he's also A SCIENTIST.
1:35:48 NUMBERS, WE'RE ALL SCIENTISTS.
1:35:51 YOU'RE NOT.
1:35:51 THAT'S MY POINT.
1:35:52 I wasn't in the liberal arts and science school.
1:35:55 I was in the What's your bachelor degree say?
1:35:57 Bachelor of business.
1:36:02 I don't think that's you.
1:36:03 So in a bachelor of arts, so you're not.
1:36:05 So see you later, It's just me.
1:36:07 You can't be a scientist.
1:36:07 You don't even have glasses.
1:36:09 I do have glasses.
1:36:10 I just don't wear them all the time.
1:36:11 That's cuz you're not a scientist.
1:36:13 I am definitely What was the last bit of research you
1:36:16 did that wasn't about a toy from the 90s on eBay?
1:36:22 what I am researching is completely irrelevant.
1:36:25 However, understanding and uh the proper
1:36:27 way of researching something using peer-reviewed
1:36:29 articles and being able to apply data to support or argue against something.
1:36:37 I think that that is in theory the scientific method.
1:36:40 I have I have used it.
1:36:42 I continue to use it in my daily life.
1:36:43 I am a scientist.
1:36:45 Well, there you have it folks.
1:36:46 Uh, the Basement Yard podcast hosted by college
1:36:50 dropout Joe Santagato [laughter] and the scientist Dr.
1:36:57 Frank Alvarez.
1:36:58 Let me make something and the other scientist apparently [laughter]
1:37:02 LET'S MAKE SOMETHING THE SCIENTIST OF BUSINESS OVER THERE.
1:37:06 Let's make something abundantly clear.
1:37:07 I did not receive my doctorate.
1:37:09 I did receive my masters.
1:37:10 So, if anything, it's college dropout Joe S.
1:37:14 No, [laughter] no, no.
1:37:15 College dropout Joe Sagato scientist Dr.
1:37:18 Frank Alvarez.
1:37:19 No, not doctor.
1:37:20 Who's also Dr.
1:37:23 Frank Alvarez because he's close to being a surgeon.
1:37:26 Let's not forget that argument, [laughter] too.
1:37:28 But he's close to being a doctor.
1:37:30 No, no, no, no, no.
1:37:31 Don't do that.
1:37:32 That's unfair.
1:37:34 Okay.
1:37:34 I have not received my doctorate.
1:37:36 Okay.
1:37:38 I am a master though.
1:37:41 I received my master's degree.
1:37:42 So, I am This is the Basement Yard podcast hosted by Go ahead.
1:37:47 College dropout Joe Santagato and master of science Frank Alvarez, right?
1:37:58 Because that is what my degrees say.
1:38:00 I'm a bachelor of science.
1:38:02 I'm a master of science.
1:38:03 You are now a podcaster.
1:38:08 Scientists, it's over.
1:38:10 Hey, listen.
1:38:11 In the world that we live in, you left the lab behind.
1:38:13 The world we [laughter] live in weaves a weird web.
1:38:16 However, here I am.
1:38:18 You know what?
1:38:19 As you all happy that you hung up your lab coat.
1:38:22 [laughter] We're really happy that you hung up your LAB COAT.
1:38:26 AND WHAT ARE YOU giggling about tonight?
1:38:29 [laughter] Cuz you hung up the lab coat, too, apparently.
1:38:33 That's right.
1:38:34 [laughter] I mean, listen.
1:38:35 Oh my god.
1:38:37 If you were to say, "Here's the start of the race.
1:38:40 Here's the end of the race.
1:38:42 [laughter] Okay, it's it's a decent point.
1:38:45 If you were to say, "Here's the start of the race.
1:38:48 Here's the end of the race." [laughter] Yes.
1:38:50 Here's where you are.
1:38:54 Yeah.
1:38:53 Here's where I am.
1:38:55 [laughter] And if this the end of the race is being a scientist or a doctor.
1:39:04 Yeah.
1:39:02 I am just using plain logic.
1:39:06 Mhm.
1:39:06 [laughter] Closer.
1:39:09 Why is Why do I have to explain this, Frank?
1:39:12 How does that make you a scientist?
1:39:18 Because you studied 15 years ago.
1:39:23 Well, THAT YOU DON'T REMEMBER.
1:39:24 AND YOU TOOK A CLASS.
1:39:26 WE JUST GOT HAMMERED.
1:39:27 It was mixology.
1:39:28 Whoa.
1:39:30 You think that scientists DON'T LIKE TO PARTY?
1:39:32 WE LOVE TO PARTY.
1:39:33 [laughter] WE WE DO.
1:39:35 I'm sick of this.
1:39:37 I do.
1:39:37 We do.
1:39:38 I am a bachelor of I will show you my degree.
1:39:42 Oo, bachelor of science.
1:39:44 Master of science.
1:39:46 None of your says master of science.
1:39:48 I guarantee it does.
1:39:49 All right.
1:39:49 It says master of science.
1:39:52 So like it's like bachelor of science.
1:39:55 It's it's like when they say like BS, you know.
1:39:58 Oh, it's BS.
1:39:58 All right.
1:39:59 You know, Bachelor of Science, MS in this in this major.
1:40:03 Yeah.
1:40:04 I'm writing down Joe's BS joke.
1:40:05 That was really underrated.
1:40:08 [laughter] Oh my god.
1:40:11 I mean, it's just it is what it is.
1:40:13 You could be as upset as you want to be about it.
1:40:15 It's not me.
1:40:16 The reality is you want to be close.
1:40:19 I'm not I don't want to be anything.
1:40:21 I am categorically a scientist.
1:40:24 Factually a scientist.
1:40:25 I have received a bachelor of science.
1:40:28 Are you a scientist?
1:40:29 In essence, I am.
1:40:31 [laughter] That is all for this week's episode of the basement yard.
1:40:36 Don't you dare.
1:40:37 Don't you dare try to do that.
1:40:39 You guys were all You guys were out here watching.
1:40:42 I GOT IN MY MOUTH.
1:40:45 What [laughter] is this in my mouth?
1:40:49 Like a piece of turkey.
1:40:51 This whole time I'm sitting across from a scientist.
1:40:53 I I'm surrounded by scientists.
1:40:55 This is the smartest company in the world.
1:40:57 If anything, jokes's on me [laughter] because one of the scientists here
1:41:04 is there was a scientist here and he is working for the non-scientist.
1:41:09 No, no, no.
1:41:10 I'm surrounded by scientis.
1:41:14 If you want to work at this company, you got to be a scientist.
1:41:17 Uh I think Greg is No, Greg, I think got his degree in the arts, didn't he?
1:41:22 Like journalism or something.
1:41:23 Yeah, that's not science.
1:41:25 [laughter] Wait, HE'S NOT YOU GUYS.
1:41:28 WHY do I keep getting punched?
1:41:31 He's not a bachelor of science.
1:41:32 He's a bachelor of arts journalism, which is impressive.
1:41:36 I'm not taking that away from him.
1:41:37 But it ain't a scientist.
1:41:38 But he's not a scientist.
1:41:39 He's not Dexter.
1:41:40 He's a scientist with words, which is a just a journalist.
1:41:44 Yeah.
1:41:44 Shakespeare, but he's not.
1:41:47 Yeah.
1:41:47 So, that's how we're going to [laughter] categorize all this.
1:41:50 He's closer to being Plato [laughter] than the rest of us.
1:41:55 That is correct.
1:41:56 Uh yeah.
1:41:57 Yes, that is correct.
1:41:59 Oh man, I think I'm done.
1:42:04 [laughter] Right.
1:42:04 Um I think I'm done with the episode because I don't even know what to say.
1:42:08 Do you want me to end it?
1:42:10 Yeah.
1:42:10 The resident scientist.
1:42:11 I I would like this to end scientifically.
1:42:13 So yeah.
1:42:14 Okay.
1:42:14 Well, I believe I can unequivocally say I am it has been a stupendous episode.
1:42:20 All right.
1:42:21 And the the passion that you and I feel for doing
1:42:24 this show has propelled each and every episode to exponentially more heights.
1:42:34 There's that science degree talking.
1:42:36 Would it have been funny if I killed this mic?
1:42:38 [laughter] Exponentially more heights.
1:42:42 I just want to say Yeah.
1:42:44 from your resident basement yard scientist, right?
1:42:51 Curiosity and imagination is incredibly important.
1:42:54 Keep that.
1:42:55 Let it propel you and your loved ones into a future of not just uncertainty,
1:43:01 but seeking out life as it is and as it ought to be.
1:43:05 [laughter] PATREON.COM/THEBASE.
1:43:09 [laughter] If you would like to fund more research.
1:43:15 [laughter] That's right.
1:43:16 This What is The Basement Yard if not a show by a half a scientist?
1:43:24 Uhhuh.
1:43:23 You know, half scientists.
1:43:27 Yes.
1:43:25 Are we not a show for scientific exploration?
1:43:33 Should I talk?
1:43:34 [laughter] Don't shake your head in agreement.
1:43:40 [laughter] Yeah, Mr.
1:43:41 Giggles over there.
1:43:42 I think he stomped his feet before from laughing off.
1:43:45 Guy was crying.
1:43:45 It was so funny.
1:43:46 [laughter]
1:43:50 Boy, people are going to have a field day with this [laughter] episode.
1:43:53 I can't wait for the scientist to rally behind me.
1:43:56 My god, Hank Green is going to lose his mind.
1:43:58 [laughter] Um, all right.
1:44:00 He's too nice, though.
1:44:01 Hank Green is too nice.
1:44:02 He would be like technically I feel like he's got some fire in him.
1:44:05 Maybe.
1:44:07 I haven't.
1:44:08 Yeah, maybe.
1:44:10 [laughter] do some research in your lab and you know what?
1:44:13 Yeah, I'll do a I'll do a I'll follow the scientific method.
1:44:16 Well, look, you guys uh go follow me at Joe Saniel.
1:44:18 Go follow the show at the base meard.
1:44:19 Frank, you know, and you can follow Yeah.
1:44:23 [laughter] Uh you guys that outing, you're lucky.
1:44:27 Yeah, you guys uh we'll see you guys next time.
1:44:29 Thank you so much.
