0:00 WILL BE CLOSED DUE TO THE CURRENT WEATHER SITUATION.

0:04 [screaming]

0:05 THANK YOU.

0:06 School's canceled.

0:07 Ready for the blizzard?

0:08 At least a foot

0:09 of snow coming for the five buraus.

0:11 New York, New Jersey under states of

0:13 emergency.

0:13 And Governor Cheryl tells

0:14 1010 Winds, this is not what we saw last

0:17 month.

0:24 Exactly 11:30 a.m.

0:26 on February 22nd, 2026, the rain stopped and the first

0:29 snowflakes of the blizzard of 2026

0:32 have begun to fall.

0:37 [music] Yeah, the mayor tweeted forecast 18 to

0:46 22 in of snow, strong wind gusts up to

0:49 50 mph, coastal flooding possible up to

0:52 2 1/2 ft.

0:55 Cool.

1:06 [music] Now 2:00 p.m.

1:12 The snow is falling much

1:14 heavier now.

1:15 It's windy and colder, but

1:18 still not really any accumulation.

1:22 Windy though.

1:31 You sure it's getting bigger?

1:34 Are we going to go tubing today?

1:35 If we get enough snow, we can go today.

1:38 Come on.

1:41 Oh, goodness.

1:42 You, too.

1:49 [music] It's 4:30 in the P.M.

1:52 I'm taking the dog

1:53 for a walk.

1:54 Maybe like a/4 in or

1:56 something.

1:57 It's snowing for like 5

1:58 hours.

1:58 There's still like no snow out,

2:00 but it's coming down.

2:02 It's coming down pretty heavy right now.

2:05 [music] Can you take me to get my car?

2:12 Learning how to play a car game.

2:13 Come on.

2:14 Take me to get my car.

2:24 You think we're going to get a real

2:25 blizzard?

2:27 Yeah.

2:27 What is a blizzard besides like

2:29 like a lot of snow?

2:34 Oh, yeah.

2:34 I think so.

2:36 Thanks for the ride.

2:39 Anytime.

2:45 [music]

2:46 It's getting real blizzardy out now.

2:49 So, driving in New York City sucks.

2:52 Except for when there's so much snow

2:54 that no one else can drive in New York

2:56 City.

2:57 And then driving in New York City

2:58 [music] rules.

3:00 To drive safely in the

3:01 snow, you obviously need a 4x4.

3:03 But if it gets really icy, even a 4x4 won't

3:05 stop on the ice.

3:07 The only thing that'll

3:08 stop on ice are chains.

3:10 The metal bites right through the ice and into the

3:13 pavement.

3:14 I run chains on all four of my

3:15 tires.

3:17 [music] Now, I don't know if I'm going to need

3:25 my car, but I do know that it's better

3:28 to have and not need than to need and

3:31 not have.

3:37 [music]

3:39 I was just talking about you

3:40 snowboarding today.

3:41 What's going on?

3:42 We need more snow.

3:43 We need more snow.

3:46 [music] [music] What?

4:00 What?

4:01 snow.

4:03 Is that everyone in New York?

4:05 Yeah, everybody in New York caught this.

4:10 [music]

4:11 8:15.

4:12 Thought we'd take the kids for a

4:13 little ride if we can find an

4:15 opportunity to go sledding.

4:16 We're probably going to do little bit of

4:18 sledding.

4:30 [music] [laughter]

4:36 W daddy.

4:44 [music] Well, it's 9:00, so legally we have to

4:56 get off the road.

5:00 So far, I, you know, I don't know.

5:02 I don't know that this is a state of

5:03 emergency level storm yet.

5:06 Maybe tomorrow morning.

5:07 This is my last

5:08 check-in of the day.

5:09 I'm going to bed

5:09 now, but so far, not such a overwhelming

5:13 blizzard.

5:14 So far, it's just been like a

5:15 really fun 3 in.

5:19 That's what she said.

5:22 6:00 a.m.

5:23 Brooklyn Bridge on my run.

5:26 We got We got some snow last

5:27 night.

5:28 Let me show you.

5:29 The wind is so

5:30 strong.

5:30 It blew all the snow off the

5:31 foot path and into uh like this light

5:35 drift here.

5:36 It's pretty windy.

5:38 Pretty windy out, but it's not so bad.

5:40 10 12 ines of snow, something like that.

5:42 It's very slippery out here though.

5:49 [music] [music] [music] 8 a.m.

6:07 [music] [music] [music] [music]

6:29 Oh yeah.

6:33 [music]

6:44 Hey guys.

6:45 [screaming]

6:48 I got next, baby.

6:50 [laughter] 12:00 12:00 noon upper west side.

7:17 They've uh updated the snowfall totals.

7:19 We're currently at 18 in and we're

7:21 supposed to get up to 20 or 22.

7:24 Pretty wild.

7:25 Now, behind me here is one of the

7:27 better sledding hills in all of

7:29 Manhattan.

7:30 And both the girls are there

7:31 sledding right now with their uncle.

7:34 Dean has built a chairlift system of

7:36 sorts.

7:36 Here, keeping the sled attached

7:38 to a rope, he's able to bring both

7:40 children up.

7:46 [music]

7:52 Are you okay?

7:53 [music]

7:55 Getting a little chilly out here.

7:59 Just need to inflate my jacket.

8:11 Come feeling great.

8:16 Oh my god.

8:20 The last snowflakes are falling and the

8:22 blizzard of 26 ends with a small

8:25 snowball fight here in Washington Square

8:28 Park.

8:28 Are you ready?

8:29 You ready?

8:29 Yeah.

8:29 Let's do it.

8:33 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

8:51 [music]

8:51 Got more breaking news tonight related

8:53 to the blizzard.

8:54 A tense scene this

8:55 afternoon when several New York City

8:57 police officers were injured when they

9:00 were pelted with chunks of snow in

9:02 Washington Square Park.

9:04 They were responding to a call about people who

9:06 got on a roof inside the park.

9:08 You see, New York, this is why we can't

9:10 have nice things.

9:14 Great Blizzard though.

9:14 Otherwise, great Blizzard.
