The Only Gadgets I Use Every Day 🎒💻

The Tech Girl

0:00 As a tech content creator,

0:01 there are certain gadgets that I cannot live or function without.

0:05 Either working from home or at a coffee shop or even when traveling.

0:09 These 14 gadgets always follow me.

0:12 And some, even though they might look trivial,

0:15 the value that they add to my workflow are immense.

0:18 Like this $15 third party Apple Pencil delivering pretty

0:21 much all the features like the OG Apple Pencil.

0:25 In this video, I'm breaking down my everyday gadget setup for you.

0:28 It's going to be fun.

0:29 And let's get unpacking.

0:34 I'm going to start with my workhorse, my MacBook Pro with M3 Max chip.

0:39 My work would literally come to a halt without this.

0:42 I had a Mac Mini before and then I switched

0:45 to a MacBook because I needed that flexibility of taking it anywhere,

0:49 especially when I travel.

0:50 This is the 13.5 in model.

0:52 I have researched, scripted, edited,

0:55 and posted over my last 100 YouTube videos on this very same MacBook,

1:00 and it still feels as snappy as the day I bought it.

1:04 In fact, I got this as a refurbished one from Apple.

1:07 I know it's expensive,

1:08 but the value I have got out of this laptop is beyond what I paid for.

1:13 The M3 Max is still going super strong,

1:16 and I feel no need to upgrade even with M5 Max ship out now.

1:20 The one thing that I regret doing,

1:22 or rather I would change if I could go back and reorder,

1:25 was I would have gotten a larger storage model.

1:28 Because I edit 4K videos, I consume vast amounts of storage so quickly.

1:33 And Apple charges an insane amount of additional storage.

1:37 So, I thought I could work with an external SSD with a fraction of that cost.

1:42 While that is true and I have the SanDisk

1:45 1 TB SSD velcroed to my MacBook all the time,

1:48 I wish I had just spent a little bit

1:51 more and gotten the 1 TB internal storage model.

1:54 Functionally, the SanDisk setup is still Sier.

1:57 The dangling cable and the ease of use is the only factor,

2:00 but nevertheless, still working great.

2:07 Second, my camera.

2:09 This camera comes with me everywhere I go for many, many reasons.

2:13 Let me explain.

2:14 This is the Sony A7C2 full-frame camera.

2:17 This is not the main YouTube A-roll camera.

2:20 That is a Sony ZV E1 camera fixed on a tripod all the time.

2:24 That's a dedicated video camera.

2:25 This is the one that comes with me everywhere.

2:28 Reason this is an allrounder.

2:30 Photos crisp 33 MP raw photos and videos 4K 30 bit 422.

2:37 works for my travel photos, B-roll videos,

2:40 thumbnail photos, pretty much for everything.

2:43 It's still super compact and it fits very well into my bag

2:47 and I can literally take quick shots with high quality.

2:50 I believe the next version is coming up soon,

2:52 but this one is here to stay with me.

2:58 Third, my super essential gadget, Apple AirPods Pro.

3:02 The one I have is the AirPods Pro 2, the ancient one with the lightning port,

3:07 but it's still working so well that I didn't

3:10 feel the need to upgrade to the AirPods Pro 3.

3:12 Sound quality very good.

3:14 Noise cancellation out of the world.

3:16 Comfort is subjective, but amazing for me.

3:19 Whether I need to work from a coffee shop or listening to music on the flights,

3:23 the noise cancellation makes the process so much better.

3:27 It's super small, fits into my pocket, and easy to pair with my Mac and phone.

3:32 It easily comes in my top three list of gadgets.

3:35 The lightning port is still an annoyance, while all my other device are USBC,

3:40 but I'm still able to work with it because of two reasons.

3:44 First, the battery on this one is simply awesome.

3:47 With this case, I easily get a full day's worth of usage, no problem at all.

3:52 So, if it's a coffee shop session, I don't even need to carry a charger.

3:55 For longer usage, I just put it

3:57 on the Apple charger and it magnetically charges with that.

4:01 So, so far I haven't faced that need to upgrade.

4:04 But I'm tempted with the foam cushion seal on AirPods Pro 3.

4:08 Maybe AirPods Pro 4 will be the one that I'll get.

4:11 Let's see.

4:15 I haven't mentioned about this bag that carries all of this, right?

4:18 I have always loved a good tote bag for my everyday

4:21 gadget and I partnered with Tom for this video.

4:25 This is the Terra laptop tote bag,

4:27 the T38 in the gorgeous dune shade, 13.5 L size.

4:34 And can we just appreciate how good this looks?

4:37 It doesn't scream tech bag.

4:39 It looks like something that you would carry to a cafe,

4:42 and that's exactly the vibe I was looking for.

4:44 The color is this warm neutral tone that goes with literally everything I wear.

4:50 It's structured, so it holds its shape while also being soft,

4:54 and it doesn't look bulky even when it's full.

4:57 The shoulder strap is breathable and wide.

5:00 I've had issues with other bags where when it gets heavy,

5:03 it really takes a toll on my shoulder,

5:05 but this divides the weight really well and feels comfortable even on long days.

5:10 Inside, you've got a soft plush laptop rack

5:13 and an iPad rack with a belt to secure them.

5:17 two open pockets, one big zipped pocket, lots of space in the main section,

5:22 and a dedicated water bottle pocket that keeps your water bottle upright,

5:26 secure, and easy to reach.

5:28 Overall, the material inside and outside feels very premium and wellmade.

5:33 Now, here's something that I absolutely love.

5:35 It has a concealed luggage strap in the back pocket.

5:39 You just unzip the back panel and it slips right over your suitcase handle.

5:43 If you travel even occasionally, you know how much of a game changer that is.

5:48 Your bag sits on top of your trolley completely secure, handsfree.

5:51 Such a small thing, but makes a huge difference.

5:54 It also feels super premium.

5:56 I'll leave a link to this in the description if you would want to check it out.

6:03 You know what else always stays in my tote bag?

6:05 My Apple Air Tag.

6:07 This is the second generation.

6:08 Given I'm carrying around so much expensive gear,

6:11 it's always good to make sure it's findable if I misplace it or lose it,

6:16 it's a non-negotiable.

6:17 This second generation Air Tag has a longer range,

6:20 which is the immediate difference that I see.

6:23 And for $29, I think it's a must-have for anyone who has an iPhone.

6:31 Speaking of iPhone, the iPhone that I carry right now

6:33 is the iPhone 17 Pro in silver, not the Max.

6:37 I tried the iPhone Air and to be honest, it's an amazing phone.

6:41 I love it even more than the 17 Pro.

6:44 The only reason why 17 Pro sticks with me all the time is because of the camera.

6:48 The cameras on the 17 Pro are so good that many

6:51 of the B-rolls are simply taken on the iPhone when it's a quick capture.

6:56 The Sony B-rolls are more focused, organized shots.

7:00 If I need something quickly, iPhone 17 Pro,

7:02 it is super powerful, super handy, and quality camera.

7:07 Oh, battery life, even with the non-max version, more than enough for my needs.

7:12 I do sometimes carry a portable Maxafe power bank if I know I will use it more.

7:20 Okay, charging and cable scenarios.

7:23 So many gadgets and so many cables.

7:26 This by itself is a task.

7:28 Here's what I do to keep it to a minimum.

7:30 I carry this 3in-1 charger.

7:32 This one charges my phone through Max Safe.

7:36 There is an Apple Watch charger and a place

7:39 to charge my AirPods all at the same time.

7:41 The best part is it all folds up and fits nicely into a pouch.

7:46 We went to Disney for a week-l long trip and I

7:48 just took this one pouch and it worked out perfectly.

7:51 I also carry a 45watt USBC charger if I need to fast charge my phone in a pinch.

7:57 The only thing that I haven't found is

7:59 this compact version of the 96 watt MacBook Pro charger.

8:03 This 45 watt charger or Apple dynamic charger sort of works,

8:08 but I'm still not able to fully replace the 96 watt charger.

8:12 Let me know in the comments if you guys have a compact workaround.

8:18 Next up, I think I missed an important one.

8:20 My iPad and pencil combo.

8:22 Again, I got this as a refurbished or an open box model.

8:26 still snappy and works great for casual browsing on a large screen,

8:30 for watching movies on flight or even during the lunch break,

8:34 for jotting down notes on Apple Notes, for a quick thumbnail sketch.

8:39 This is my go-to device when I'm working on my MacBook.

8:42 It even doubles as a wireless second screen.

8:45 One of my best investments.

8:47 Taking notes especially is so good on iPads.

8:50 Speaking of note takingaking on the iPad,

8:52 I tried the Apple Pencil, the one with pressure sensitivity.

8:55 hover features and everything.

8:57 It's nice, but it's overpriced.

8:59 Then I tried this third party pencil from Amazon.

9:02 It charges via USBC and it works splendidly well.

9:06 I think it's like $15.

9:08 It does 95% of that job at onetenth the price.

9:12 My note takingaking has genuinely improved with my iPad setup.

9:16 All right, what else did I miss?

9:18 There's always a water bottle in the back,

9:20 a wireless mouse if I know it's going to be

9:23 a long session of working from a coffee shop,

9:26 and oh, I also forgot to mention about this mini tripod with a phone holder.

9:31 I use it to film B-rolls on my phone or even

9:34 as a handy phone holder during FaceTime calls or while watching videos.

9:39 Another $15 worthy investment.

9:41 Of course, my mini wallet at the end.

9:43 So, yeah, that's everything.

9:45 Those are the gadgets I genuinely reach out every single day.

9:49 Some of them are expensive and some of them are surprisingly affordable,

9:53 but they all earn their spot in my bag.

9:55 I'll leave a link to this product I mentioned today in the description below.

9:58 If you made it so far, thanks for watching.

10:01 I would love to know in the comments,

10:02 what's the one gadget that you cannot leave the house without.

10:05 I'll see you in the next one.

10:06 This is Ana.

10:07 Bye-bye.
