Trump’s BIZARRE Oval Office Rant Leaves Kids SPEECHLESS

0:08 This was supposed to be some sort of heartwarming

0:10 photo op to soften the image of Trump.

0:14 We can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon.

0:16 You might be too young for this.

0:18 I don't know if I want.

0:19 They probably know.

0:20 They They probably know better than most people.

0:22 But you can't let a bunch of lunatics have

0:25 a nuclear weapon or the world would be in trouble.

0:28 the world would be in trouble.

0:30 They killed 42,000 people last month.

0:33 42,000 unarmed protesters.

0:36 They had no guns.

0:37 So, they had a 250,000 people crowd.

0:41 And they had snipers.

0:42 They had like four or five snipers in buildings up high.

0:46 And you're standing there and all of a sudden the guy on your left goes down.

0:49 Then somebody, that's what happened with the women protest.

0:52 They had 200,000 women protesting a year ago.

0:56 And everyone thought that was the end of Iran.

0:59 And then all of a sudden, a woman dropped dead with a bullet right there.

1:07 I had not I had not se I'd seen some of these clips.

1:12 The the the doing the sniper to the face in front of the children.

1:16 Uh did you see the clip of him uh when a little

1:20 girl said she wanted to play volleyball and he was like,

1:22 "Aren't you small for volleyball?

1:24 Try soccer.

1:27 He challenged another kid to a fight at some point.

1:29 Yeah.

1:30 It was uh uh Wow.

1:33 Yeah.

1:33 I mean, like this is one of those things

1:36 like just from a White House communications perspective,

1:38 it's supposed to be a layup.

1:40 It's just a nice easy photo op.

1:43 Like Trump has this whole thing about how Obama softened the country

1:46 by changing the physical getting rid of the old physical fitness

1:49 test and making it more focused on wellness than winning the shuttle

1:53 run or whatever it is you have to do for that test.

1:55 the number of pull-ups you have.

1:57 And so this is like we're going back to the old days and instead

2:00 he just says the most insane things live on television surrounded by children.

2:07 It's the Well, it's, you know, it's funny because on some level he's not wrong,

2:12 which is I'm not getting any press for the presidential fitness test today.

2:16 There's there's all this everyone wants to talk about Iran.

2:18 I should just be talking about Iran.

2:19 Why do you got me doing this stupid today?

2:21 This is not the right day to do it.

2:22 I'm just going to turn this event.

2:23 I mean, look, we we have uh Trump

2:25 on in our office for uh whole swaths of the day.

2:29 Uh those are the kind of the wages of sin in this job.

2:31 But the the like he he did an event yesterday.

2:37 He just spoke in a kind of monotone for like the better part of an hour.

2:42 He's rambling all over the place.

2:44 He's touching on all these bringing up the pawn stars guys.

2:46 He's basically just doing a not like he doesn't

2:49 that he's just kind of you pull his string.

2:50 They sit him in the chair.

2:52 He says whatever maybe he says on the cards.

2:54 Then he kind of just does his kind of his drone about

2:57 the Ron war that he's doing doing the rest of the day.

3:00 Um Dan, did you do the physical fitness test when you were growing up?

3:04 So I did.

3:05 I remember like when they did the presidential

3:07 fitness test when I was growing up.

3:09 It would be just on some random day you'd be brought out to the soccer field

3:12 and everyone would have to try to run

3:13 a mile even though they hadn't run a mile before.

3:16 And then there were pull-ups or push-ups or something.

3:18 I was like, I can't do any of this.

3:19 I was so pull-ups.

3:20 And then there was the shuttle run where you had to run back and forth.

3:23 Uh

3:24 it's like a 300 shuttle.

3:25 Yeah.

3:25 It was basically like you're doing the NFL combine um for young children.

3:30 Yeah.

3:30 Like I'm all for having some kind of a physical fitness test,

3:33 but I think the idea was to have something

3:34 that was more kind of reflective of like how to get

3:38 kids to actually like doing exercise as opposed to making

3:41 them all compete against each other and embarrass them.

3:44 Embarrass them.

3:44 Yes.

3:44 It was embarrassing.

3:45 I was embarrassed every time I had to do the presidential fitness test.

3:48 Yeah, I mean just just the also just I mean fitness

3:52 test aside just there like Trump has his moments of charisma

3:56 or charm or humor but the like the defining characterist

4:00 he's like missing this like normal gene of being a human

4:04 in him that comes out where just like he can't

4:07 read social cues and so just anyone else surrounded by young

4:11 children would have answered these questions differently or demired right just

4:16 to tell the story about women getting shot between the eyes,

4:19 then feeling the need to gesture to the exact place in which they were

4:22 shot with these children there is just like that's an insane thing to do,

4:27 right?

4:27 He has no instinct for just like it's so it's such an easy thing to say.

4:31 Like part of the why you do the event

4:33 with the kids is so when you get the hard question,

4:34 you say like, "Look, we're here with the kids today.

4:36 We're talking about fitness.

4:37 You kids are going to get real big and strong.

4:39 You're trying to get like a nice shot out of the thing." Uh but yeah, he can't.

4:43 He doesn't have that ability.

4:44 Even when he talks to kids,

4:45 like he kind of talks to kids like with the kind of mindset about

4:49 children that like a Victorian like a vicious Victorian school uh uh uh master

4:56 would have about like children are tiny adults that must be that must be

5:01 disciplined at all times and forged into strong

5:04 people who do not ever express emotion.

5:06 And so like turns whenever he talks Turks to kids

5:08 it's like like ah you're gonna be bad at soccer next

5:12 what do you like he kind of razes them like

5:14 they're in the cabinet in the same you know he saw

5:15 the other day when he uh the uh the head

5:17 of NASA has those kind of big ears and he goes like

5:20 that guy can hear real good he talks to kids

5:22 the same way he talks to them in the exact same way.

5:24 It's just what a what a weirdo.

5:26 Okay finally Barack Obama sat down with Steven Coar for an interview

5:29 at the Obama Presidential Center which is slated to open next month.

5:33 Per usual the old boss had some advice for Democrats.

5:35 Here's what he had to say.

5:37 With respect to Democrats, um I'm not as worried about this so-called rift

5:43 between the left and liberals as you describe it.

5:46 And so I don't worry as much about some

5:51 of these uh these issues uh within the Democratic party.

5:56 What I'm more interested in around for Democrats is do you know how

6:28 One of the things you learn as president, yes,

6:32 is government is terrible at keeping secrets.

6:38 If if there were aliens or alien spaceships or anything under

6:43 the control of the United States government that we knew about,

6:46 seen, photographs, what have you,

6:49 I promise you, some guy guarding the installation would have taken a selfie

6:56 with one of the aliens and sent it to his girlfriend and present first contact.

7:02 I think I would be a good emissary for uh for the plan to represent.

7:08 I mean, you know, I've I've got diverse background,

7:12 some experience in state craft and diplomacy.

8:27 this as a throwaway line and the the the the billionaire

8:30 just goes they still want an American to go

8:32 and it's like why the would the Japanese go to all

8:35 this trouble to build a transporter to aliens and send

8:38 an American but I do think an American should go Dan

8:43 for yeah it should he's a great he's sincerely I do

8:46 think he's right that he is truly really short list

8:48 for best options for be the human emissary for first contact.

9:46 I think it was New Yorker um that had these quotes

9:49 not directly from Obama they were like secondhand quotes and I

9:51 think they might be apocryphal of Obama saying that he

9:54 that he he's his best speech writer he's his best communicator he's

9:58 his best uh political director and so it's not surprising Obama

10:01 would also find himself to be the uh the best emissary

10:04 yeah well it's just sort of like I've I've I've thought

10:06 about it and I think I'm the right person to represent humankind.
