Something Big is Coming! US Military Preparing Invasion of Iran | Redacted News
Redacted
0:00 The energy shock is here thanks to the USIsrael
0:03 war against Iran and airline experts now
0:05 warning that more airlines just like Spirit Airlines
0:08 could be collapsing in the next couple of weeks.
0:11 Jet fuel shocks are now reverberating across the global air travel industry.
0:16 Spirit admitted in court documents that jet fuel prices were one
0:20 of the main catalysts to closing their doors um and recent geopolitical events.
0:26 They say even their customer service department totally gone.
0:29 People showing up for their flights just gone.
0:30 Spirit Airlines, sorry.
0:32 Your airline doesn't exist anymore.
0:34 Just totally gone.
0:35 Um, global airlines, according to the Kobesci letter,
0:38 are cancelling flights in unprecedented pace.
0:40 Airlines have cut 2 million seats,
0:43 12,000 flights worldwide from their May schedules over the last two weeks.
0:47 Total available seats down to 130 million.
0:50 That comes as jet fuel costs have doubled since the Iran war began,
0:54 forcing carriers to cancel unprofitable routes,
0:56 switch to smaller aircraft, raise ticket prices.
0:59 So like big international flights still happening,
1:02 but those smaller just like puddle jump flights that people
1:05 take and rely on a regular basis that are pretty unprofitable.
1:08 Cancelled.
1:09 Cancelled.
1:10 Just look at the number uh the this is this chart
1:12 from the Financial Times on the number of flights being cancelled.
1:15 Unbelievable.
1:16 And you can see, of course, hitting Air China,
1:17 Turkish Airlines, um, and and more the hardest.
1:21 Meanwhile, gas prices across the United States skyrocketing.
1:25 The CEO of Chevron just said it out loud yesterday that we're
1:29 starting to see the supply crisis hitting some major economies already.
1:33 Europe is already there.
1:35 Asia is already there.
1:36 And his biggest warning is about America.
1:38 He basically said America is next.
1:40 Watch.
1:41 20% of the world's energy supply flows through the straight of Hormuz.
1:45 That's oil, that's liqufied natural gas, it's refined products,
1:49 uh goes to Europe and Asia primarily.
1:52 And both of those regions are seeing the impact of having that much cut off.
1:56 The US can't make up all of that supply.
1:59 Uh inventories in the system are being drawn down and uh
2:03 and the the supply situation is tightening and that's that's a concern.
2:07 Yeah.
2:07 Yeah.
2:07 And you know, you think Lindsey Graham says, meanwhile,
2:10 Lindsey Graham uh says that Americans deserve higher gas prices because
2:15 many doubted that Iran was going to get a nuclear weapon.
2:17 Almost like that.
2:18 This is like your comeuppance because you
2:21 just didn't believe the truth about Iran.
2:23 So, you guys deserve higher gas prices.
2:25 He says either you're going to pay it now or you're going
2:27 to pay it later when they nuke all of us with their nuclear weapons.
2:30 Watch.
2:32 This thing is over.
2:33 to the American people.
2:34 I know gas prices are high and I know we're suffering right now,
2:38 but you pay now, you pay later against thugs like Iran.
2:41 They tried to get a nuclear weapon,
2:42 and if you don't believe that, you
2:44 shouldn't be allowed to drive in your hometown.
2:46 Donald Trump stopped Iran,
2:48 stopped Iran from having 8 to 10
2:50 nuclear weapons by bombing their enrichment facilities.
2:53 God bless you, President Trump.
2:55 We were weeks away from a nuclear armed Iran.
2:58 No more.
2:58 Everything has been obliterated.
3:00 Their economy is in shatter is in tatters.
3:03 Their military has been decimated.
3:05 There's more to do.
3:06 If we can control the straits,
3:08 checkmate against Iran, blockade, plus arm the people.
3:12 And to our allies throughout the world who depend
3:15 on the straight of Hormuz more than we do, get off your ass and help us.
3:21 Remember, it was open.
3:22 Who Who's us?
3:23 I don't recall Lindsey Graham ever going
3:25 to war or putting himself in any dangerous situation.
3:29 He has bodyguards.
3:31 So, who exactly is us?
3:33 I don't know.
3:33 I mean, in Ukraine, they have those trans soldiers.
3:35 He could join up with in Ukraine, you know.
3:38 Uh, go ahead, Phillip.
3:40 I just So, I I just did Did he just suggest that we we arm Iranians?
3:47 Yeah.
3:46 Are we doing that now?
3:47 That's the next big piece of this, which is sending
3:49 as many guns as we can to arm the Iranians.
3:52 So, you know, it's all back to opening the straight of Hormuse again.
3:56 I'm seeing $7 a a gallon in Toronto from our viewers.
3:59 $7 in Toronto.
4:00 437 in Missouri.
4:02 Over seven for diesel in Michigan.
4:05 $6 in Florida,
4:07 uh 550 in in Colorado, um Hawaii, upwards of five.
4:13 I mean, yeah, all you know, all across the board, skyrocketing.
4:16 Brandon Ward is the host of the NATSC Talk podcast on Rumble,
4:19 senior national security editor at 1945.com, a must-read website,
4:24 and a great friend of the show and a great analyst that we love to have on.
4:28 Brandon, great to see you.
4:29 Welcome back.
4:30 Thank you for having me.
4:31 I wish it was under better circumstances, but uh here we are.
4:36 Well, if it were under better circumstances, we'd all be out of a job.
4:39 I wish actually I actually would love that.
4:42 Go do something else.
4:42 I would just hang out with my dog for crying out loud.
4:45 That's what I would do.
4:46 But this is absolutely miserable.
4:47 I mean, so what you're seeing now from this administration,
4:50 you just heard Marco Rubio about 30 minutes ago
4:52 um basically saying this is all about the straight hormuse.
4:55 This is opening up the They're Wait a minute.
4:57 I I thought the Straight of Hormuse was open
4:59 weeks ago and now that's the whole focus of this.
5:02 Are we talking about boots on the ground,
5:04 ground forces in order to get this open?
5:07 Well, I will tell you, so I spent some time with the Air Force the last
5:12 week at an undisclosed location and it is very obvious.
5:15 Nothing was said to me, classified or any or any way,
5:18 but it was very obvious just looking at the some
5:21 of what was happening on base that the the we
5:24 are ramping up the the idea that we're going to sustain
5:28 the ceasefire or uh you know look for an off-ramp.
5:33 I you know I it doesn't look like it to me just based on what I saw.
5:38 Uh we are in this for the long haul.
5:40 uh what that looks like.
5:42 I know that the uh last week the reporting was
5:46 uh that the uh Sentcom commander Admiral Paparro briefed Trump
5:50 for 45 minutes in the White House on what was
5:54 referred to as the final blow plan for the Iranian regime.
5:59 I also know based on what I have heard uh
6:04 that the US military has moved the last several weeks very
6:09 key assets into the region that are not just for naval
6:13 interdiction of the kind we're seeing outside the straight of Hormuse.
6:18 It's not just for another potential air campaign.
6:21 But I am I am hearing that we
6:23 are moving the resources needed to support a ground
6:27 force of at least 15,000 troops uh going into uh the the Iranian area in some
6:35 way likely to do some kind of uh you know coastal strategy where we invade one
6:42 of those islands that I was originally
6:44 on this program several weeks ago talking to you about.
6:47 I likened it to Gallipoli, uh,
6:49 which I still believe would be a Gipolyike disaster
6:52 for the US Marines andor Army elements that would be deployed.
6:57 But it is very obvious to me, uh,
7:00 based on everything that I've heard and seen over the last week
7:02 or so that this war is just heating up on the American side.
7:07 Wow, that's some breaking news.
7:09 And again, so let's revisit that first conversation we had.
7:14 To what end?
7:15 We have one island and then what?
7:18 Yeah.
7:18 Well, there is no end.
7:20 Uh this is uh you know strategic malpractice
7:23 on an epic level by the White House.
7:26 There is no end state to this conflict.
7:29 Remember this was the famous uh you know
7:31 tell me how this ends General Petraeus uh
7:35 line in 2008 that they were the Congress
7:37 was begging for answers from General Petraeus on Iraq.
7:42 This is the same question we have today.
7:44 Tell me Mr.
7:45 president how this ends and Mr.
7:47 President unfortunately doesn't seem to have
7:49 an answer that's satisfactory for anybody including himself.
7:54 Uh you know on on the one hand he wants to arm the the the rebels in in Iran,
7:59 the mythical rebels.
8:01 On the other hand he's saying we've won already.
8:04 If we've won already, what are we still doing there?
8:07 Uh and then he talks about
8:08 denuclearization that we supposedly obliterated last year,
8:12 but they're back in action, I guess.
8:14 in Iran.
8:14 So, we don't know what the end state is.
8:17 Uh, and he talks frequently about regime change.
8:19 This has never gone away, by the way,
8:21 is this idea of regime change plus unconditional surrender in bold letters.
8:27 Uh, we don't have an end state, which is why if you have no end state,
8:32 it doesn't really matter how you get there.
8:33 You're just going to keep going, right?
8:36 And so, the idea that, well, that's not going to happen.
8:38 Regime change.
8:39 But what is happening is listen to any analyst
8:42 right now about where they see this economy going.
8:44 The global economy heading for a global depression maybe over the next
8:48 2 to four weeks especially if the street of Hormuse continues to remain
8:51 closed and even if it does open magically in the next like
8:54 10 minutes the reverberations are going to be felt across the global economy.
8:59 Can you speak to that?
9:00 Yes, it's already we're we now will no matter
9:02 what have some form of a recession at this point.
9:05 Even if the straight of horn moose magically, as you properly put it,
9:09 reopen in the next 10 minutes,
9:11 the the shortages are already baked now into the cake.
9:15 Now, I did speak with some pretty
9:18 uh savvy financial people down in Naples, Florida.
9:22 I live near Naples, so I have a lot of contacts down there,
9:25 the investment community there.
9:26 and they assured me that don't worry, it's a lot of this is already priced in.
9:31 Um, but then when I brought up the fact that what happens if the straight
9:36 doesn't reopen in any meaningful way in the next 3 weeks, what happens then?
9:41 Well, then, you know, they don't want to address that because to them,
9:45 the president, he's an economics guy.
9:47 He understands this.
9:48 I don't think the president does.
9:50 If I can just speak honestly,
9:51 I don't think the president understands this at all.
9:54 uh which is why the war's gone on for what 11 weeks now uh with no end in sight.
9:59 Uh I I believe fully that we are already going to have a recession either now
10:05 or in the next several months because
10:07 of the shortages that are already going to occur.
10:10 Uh the question is how deep and how fast and how hard uh will that hit us.
10:15 I think right now it's a mild recession.
10:17 I think in the next 3 weeks,
10:19 if we don't reopen the straight and get things back to relative normal,
10:22 it will be a much deeper and longer recession.
10:25 It will look a lot like the 20 thou
10:27 or feel a lot like the 2008 financial crisis.
10:30 And I think it'll also look a lot like the worst
10:32 aspects of the COVID recession when we forcibly shut everything down,
10:36 which also happened, by the way,
10:38 under Trump's term, uh, his leadership the last time.
10:41 So, we've been through this before with this president
10:43 and we know that it it doesn't really end
10:47 well unfortunately for the economy and it will have
10:50 deep political reverberations uh for the president and his party.
10:54 It will not end well for the GOP.
10:57 I think at this point the Democrats
10:59 are assured majorities definitely in the House.
11:01 I suspect they'll get the Senate.
11:03 Uh and once that happens, you know,
11:05 the president's basically a lame duck president at that point
11:08 or possibly facing impeachment.
11:10 definitely facing impeachment, right?
11:12 No, I I I've spoken to several Democrats.
11:15 Um, you know, for whatever reason,
11:17 I've maintained relationships with the Democrats over the years.
11:21 I'm not a Democrat.
11:22 Um, but they do confide certain things to me when we're communicating.
11:28 Uh, it looks like they've got
11:29 a pretty comprehensive collapse strategy for the administration.
11:33 And as one of my my colleagues, former colleagues from the Hill said,
11:37 all they need is the majorities and they begin immediately.
11:40 Game over.
11:41 So, yeah.
11:42 Game over.
11:43 You think both houses?
11:45 I'm in the outlier.
11:46 I'm in the outlier.
11:47 Most professionals are saying no, he'll get that.
11:49 They'll get the House, but not the Senate.
11:51 I think they're going to get both.
11:54 Look at these gas prices.
11:55 So, Go ahead.
11:57 I just have very little confidence in Democrats
12:00 to do something like that because they're so feckless.
12:04 Well, whether they can actually get rid
12:06 of remove Trump from office, I don't know.
12:10 But but I do believe the investigations
12:13 and recess and um impeachment trial alone
12:18 uh will be much more damaging this time around than it was the first time.
12:22 You know, in the first term, the Democrats had nothing on Trump.
12:25 Whatever people thought about Trump, he didn't really break the law.
12:29 He didn't do anything that was really catastrophic until the end with COVID.
12:34 But now there's real there's real problems.
12:37 He and Hegathth and some of his top advisers are facing.
12:41 In fact, what I've heard is the first target the Democrats
12:43 are going to really go hard for is Heg Seth.
12:46 They are assessing that Trump will throw Heg Seth to the wolves, which he will,
12:51 but that'll only begin a snowball effect for the Democrats to continue,
12:55 you know, cing their way
12:56 into the administration with investigations and investigations.
13:00 Yeah.
13:00 I mean, Brandon, right now in poly market,
13:02 there's literally a front page question as to how how long
13:05 until uh Pete Higgs is thrown out of office or, you know,
13:09 No, it's going to be as soon as the Democrats get their majorities.
13:11 I think I think Trump's going to feed him to the wolves.
13:13 Yeah.
13:14 I don't think I don't think poor Pete understands what he's being set up for.
13:17 This is why I I've been saying he should not be speaking anymore publicly,
13:21 but apparently he's committed to this.
13:23 So, he is.
13:24 In fact, just a few minutes ago,
13:25 Pete Hexith talking about how the Straight of Hormuse is a direct
13:30 gift from the US to the world that we've established a powerful red,
13:34 white, and blue dome over the Straight of Hormuz.
13:37 Watch.
13:38 As a direct gift from the United States to the world,
13:42 we have established a powerful red, white, and blue dome over the street.
13:47 American destroyers are on stations supported by hundreds of fighter jets,
13:50 helicopters, drones, and surveillance aircraft providing 24/7
13:55 overwatch for peaceful commercial vessels.
13:59 Yeah.
13:59 Do you feel I mean, really, you shouldn't have.
14:01 Thank you so much.
14:03 I really Pete strikes again.
14:05 Yeah.
14:05 I mean, what what are we talking about here?
14:08 We're we're like an abusive spouse.
14:09 We're like, what?
14:10 Look what you made us do.
14:13 Yeah.
14:13 I think I think it's important to note also because
14:16 I have actually a report on this uh pending at 1945.com.
14:20 It might have already gone up this this afternoon.
14:22 I don't know.
14:22 But, uh, in the next 24 hours, it'll be available.
14:24 I did for sure.
14:25 But basically, I broke down what happened over the weekend with um the alleged
14:31 Iranian attack on the container ships in the straight of Hermuz that prompted
14:36 uh the US Navy to deploy those uh Seahawk helicopters and the army deploying
14:41 the Apaches into the straight to basically
14:45 destroy those six or seven Iranian speedboats.
14:48 Um the the the key thing to understand here
14:52 is that we are now having to use helicopters uh
14:58 rather than our traditional air defense systems because we're depleting
15:02 our more expensive exquisite systems at such a rapid rate.
15:07 We're now having to kind of shift.
15:08 Now I think this is a smart move because
15:09 it's cheaper to use those other systems from the helicopters.
15:12 But the point is is that the even if we destroy all of Iran's cigarette boats,
15:18 you know, these ridiculous, you know,
15:20 small speedboats, the fact of the matter is,
15:23 uh, we are running through our supplies
15:26 of critical defensive stockpiles much faster than the, um,
15:31 much faster than the Iranians are going through their systems.
15:34 So even when they lose these little ships in Iran,
15:38 uh which I believe they did, uh it's still not a loss for them.
15:42 They're still getting us to expend very finite
15:45 resources and we're still not really opening the straight.
15:48 I mean, the straight remains closed.
15:50 Lloyds of London insurance is not going to, you know,
15:53 ensure ships passing through because it's still too risky.
15:58 Uh and ultimately, you know, we're we're going to be in a position
16:02 where even if we do destroy these Iranian systems,
16:06 those systems are so small and cheap compared to what we're using against them,
16:12 it's still a win for the Iranians because we're expending
16:15 these critical stockpiles of which we have very few uh of remaining.
16:20 I want to ask about the propaganda because President Trump and his cabinet
16:24 are continuously saying we needed to have paid these bigger prices in gas.
16:29 It was necessity.
16:32 You really want this even though you didn't know you want this, you want this.
16:35 Uh you know, and then if and when the war starts back up, Iran is so weak.
16:39 They're not expecting it.
16:41 I mean, they were expecting it when we hit them on February 28th.
16:45 The little girls weren't, but Iranian officials were.
16:49 or they've been ready for this for decades.
16:52 So, you know, I see some people in our chat being like,
16:54 "Yeah, they're decimated.
16:55 They were evil.
16:56 They're the worst." It's so dumb to believe
16:59 what the administration is saying right now.
17:01 I can't believe that dumb people like that are here in the redacted chat.
17:05 Can you at least address anyone who is
17:08 believing the government propaganda about those things right now?
17:12 Please, people in the chat, stop being dumb.
17:15 Well, we we have destroyed a lot of stuff
17:18 and not all of it was military as you rightly noted,
17:22 but as we proved in Vietnam where we ran 5.29 million sorties,
17:27 the Air Force did uh over 10 years in Vietnam, you can blow up a lot of stuff,
17:34 military and non-militaryike, and still not achieve victory.
17:38 And that's the kind of war we're in right now.
17:40 So, I have no doubt that we killed a lot of leaders.
17:43 I have no doubt that we've degraded certain capabilities uh in Iran.
17:47 But have we taken out the core leadership?
17:50 Have we gotten rid of the Islamic Republic itself?
17:53 Absolutely not.
17:54 Are we going to?
17:55 Absolutely not.
17:57 Uh in fact, the Islamic Republic has uh implemented
18:00 a counterattack strategy that is very effective and actually far
18:05 more dangerous to us because of these economic uh
18:09 you know impacts we're start only starting to feel now.
18:12 uh the the Iranian regime is is going to survive this thing.
18:16 We don't have the forces to take them out.
18:19 We don't have the forces even to get rid of all their missiles.
18:22 And that by the way, forget about the nuclear weapons threat.
18:26 Uh the real threat that Iran posed
18:28 the region was in these ballistic missile drone
18:31 and hypersonic weapons swarms that they have
18:34 really built up for many years, decades even.
18:38 Uh the US intelligence community had to a week
18:41 or so ago go back and uh change their original claims,
18:44 claims that Pete Hegsth was making.
18:47 We did not destroy anywhere near as many
18:49 of those missile launchers as we believed.
18:52 In fact, the intelligence community corrected this publicly
18:55 and said we were wrong by at least 50%.
18:58 So the Iranians have retained a capability that we
19:02 have yet to be able to stop and it's their primary threat to the region which is
19:07 those missile launch capabilities uh in these underground missile cities.
19:11 So um you know we whatever we've destroyed
19:13 or haven't destroyed in my opinion is irrelevant.
19:17 What's key here is combat effectiveness and survivability
19:21 of the regime both of which remain relatively intact.
19:26 uh and they're they are going to be able to hang on much longer in my opinion uh
19:30 than when what we're going to be able to do
19:32 is the minute these economic impacts are really felt
19:35 really felt both in the United States and around
19:38 the world that's when reality hits the leadership in Washington
19:43 and uh you can't hide in in in behind
19:45 the uh curtains of the proposed ballroom much longer then
19:50 uh I guess a final question on this do you think that you mentioned 3 weeks
19:53 from the folks you've been financial folks you've
19:55 been speaking to down there in Naples and otherwise.
19:57 Do you believe that's really the kind of the target date for when
20:00 we will really start to feel the pinch maybe in the United States?
20:03 Europe's already feeling it.
20:04 Asia's already fully aware of it.
20:06 Is that when it hits here?
20:08 Yeah, I think in the next 3 weeks if this thing
20:10 if straits don't re if the straight of hormous doesn't reopen.
20:13 Uh I think you're going to feel some kind of impacts here.
20:17 It's important to understand.
20:18 I know we talk about it,
20:19 but you want to keep bringing it up because it's very important.
20:22 It isn't just natural gas and oil that we're being cut off from.
20:25 It's fertilizer during the planting season.
20:28 So something like 70% of farmers cannot plant
20:32 the normal level of crops that they have to plant.
20:35 That will be felt for much longer than just the uh immediate uh term.
20:41 Uh it's also the the uh AI revolution whether you like it or not.
20:45 The AI bubble is the reason the economy is sustaining itself.
20:49 And that AI bubble is now at risk of being popped prematurely.
20:54 uh because of all of the helium shortages coming out of the reg
20:58 or not coming out of the region uh and and without
21:01 those that helium access you have absolutely no ability to build
21:07 uh to to to build those data centers um I'm hearing something
21:11 someone talking uh uh to uh to build those data centers
21:15 to maintain those semiconductors uh the production of them and I'll just add
21:19 one more thing about helium uh in 2024 President Joe Biden sold
21:23 sold the strategic helium reserve to a German-based firm called Messer LLC.
21:30 And this company, according to the US
21:32 House of Representatives Committee on Oversight,
21:35 uh this company has a lot of exposure
21:37 to the Chinese Communist Party in in China itself.
21:41 So, in effect, the Biden administration sold off our strategic helium reserve
21:46 to the Chinese who are now taking
21:48 that helium and uh they're basically they're sustaining
