How to Heal a Nervous System Stuck in Survival Mode | Dr. Sue Morter

André Duqum

0:00 Everything is energy and we are all a part of that field.

0:03 The universe doesn't just have my back.

0:04 [music] I'm made of it.

0:06 So, I'm never not with it.

0:07 But what happens is you will fall into what will feel like a void.

0:12 You're falling into the parts of you that you've not allowed

0:15 to develop because they were set aside for all these years,

0:19 which is what we're really here to do.

0:21 Every single thing that has happened has been in [music] my favor of awakening.

0:25 Changed my life forever.

0:26 Wow.

0:26 What we have to realize is that we come into this dimension

0:30 so that those frequencies that we're unfamiliar with will get stirred.

0:33 We don't have to suffer [music] to awaken.

0:35 But if we suffer, it could contribute to our awakening.

0:38 So if you have 60 seconds to whisper a message

0:41 [music] into the hearts of humanity, what would you say?

0:45 Oh my gosh.

0:46 Science and spirituality have to work together to really

0:50 understand the [music] essence of who we are.

0:52 Are we the body that is trying to find spirit?

0:55 Or are we the spirit that is coming into [music] a body

0:58 for a darn good reason experiencing the things that we're experiencing?

1:08 Hey everyone, welcome back to the know thyself podcast.

1:12 Oh, we have puppies in the studio today

1:14 uh because returning guest Sue Mortar is here.

1:17 She's an internationally bestselling author,

1:20 speaker who's supported millions of people

1:22 with mindbody integration and connection [snorts]

1:27 and she really helps people work with awakening from the level of energy.

1:32 Our community loved our last conversation and I'm

1:34 really looking forward to continuing the conversation today.

1:37 So,

1:38 Dr.

1:38 Sue, thanks for coming back.

1:40 It's great to be back.

1:41 And you came with puppies.

1:43 I came with puppies, right?

1:44 [laughter] That's better.

1:45 These guys are ridiculous.

1:48 So, we'll probably set them aside at some point here

1:51 so we can get down to the nitty-gritty of life.

1:54 Yes.

1:55 But we So, we got Pearl and Rosie here.

1:57 This is Rosie right here.

2:01 And uh and this is Pearl.

2:03 And so together they are trouble.

2:07 [laughter]

2:08 They are adorable and the beautiful delight of you know love and life.

2:13 Um, they have their nicknames, of course,

2:15 is her nickname is Bobby Socks and loafers because

2:18 she has little white paws with little brown underneath.

2:22 Yes.

2:22 Yes.

2:23 She never knows when she's in trouble.

2:24 She just thinks she needs to cheer up

2:26 whoever is upset with her for whatever reason.

2:29 [laughter] And and her sister Pearl is um, you know, just a delight.

2:34 She's an amazing amazing little uh, very they're brilliant.

2:39 And, you know, isn't it just what love is all about?

2:41 We are recording this on Valentine's Day.

2:43 [laughter] Of course, it's the love day.

2:45 The love dogs.

2:46 Here we are.

2:48 This is the first.

2:48 This is the first and hopefully not the last.

2:51 [laughter] Oh, beautiful.

2:56 Okay.

2:55 So, thank you for having us all.

2:57 Yes.

2:57 [laughter] Well, on that note,

3:00 I felt like we picked up really amazing momentum towards the end,

3:04 especially of our last conversation.

3:06 And I would love to just pick up where we left off,

3:08 but not assuming everybody has tuned into that conversation.

3:12 What is the essence of what you hope

3:14 most our listeners walk away today's conversation with?

3:17 You know, we live in a world

3:19 that has become so interested in changing our beliefs

3:24 and getting our mind thinking more positively and kind

3:27 of pushing forward in a raise your vibration,

3:30 you know, get on with it and achieve and accomplish sort of modality.

3:34 And what I would really love for people

3:37 to recognize is that there's a significant um version

3:41 of self that could get left behind when

3:44 we start pushing the river in such a way.

3:47 And all of the principles that we know about

3:51 how thoughts and beliefs create our reality are absolutely true.

3:56 And what we want to make sure that we also accommodate for is

4:00 a deep core wisdom that is trying to rise within our system all the time.

4:07 And that wisdom goes beyond our thinking mind.

4:10 The wisdom is a presence that has always been and will always be.

4:14 And we're made of that energy that we call wisdom.

4:18 And I'd love for us to, you know,

4:21 just explore and get to know how the relationship

4:25 works between our deep core wisdom and our thinking

4:29 mind so that the things that we pursue

4:32 in life are actually aligned with our authentic self.

4:35 They're actually unfolding our true path so that we're not pushing and striving

4:41 and trying to make things happen in a way that ends up unfulfilling.

4:46 you know, yes, we achieve, yes, we accomplish, and at the end of the day,

4:50 are we fulfilled, and there is a way to ensure that that gets to happen.

4:56 And so, it is by regulating the nervous system that we allow that to begin.

5:02 But we need to look at what disregulates the nervous

5:05 system and what happens if the nervous system is not disregulated.

5:09 What if it is functioning in a harmonious way?

5:13 Then what is it that can occur in our lives, in our bodies,

5:17 in our consciousness that isn't allowed to unfold

5:21 when we are overthinking and overdriving and over trying.

5:25 Even if we're trying to heal or trying

5:29 to love or trying to uh reveal some deeper truth,

5:34 the the efforting alone, you know,

5:37 can suppress it and keep us really in this this place of lack and striving.

5:43 Well said.

5:44 That was a long short answer.

5:46 No, it was [laughter] great.

5:48 You know, there is a very common narrative,

5:51 popular narrative that your worth is inherently tied up in your performance

5:56 and we can go on this hamster wheel of never- ending self-improvement.

6:00 What I love so much about your work and the energy in which you

6:03 share is that it's more about a remembering and an allowing and a receiving.

6:08 And it kind of takes away so much of this tension which

6:12 is comparatively driven through how we see other people are successful online.

6:16 And it invites us to allow what wants to move

6:18 through us instead of forcing our way to success or worth.

6:23 Uh and so when you're really challenging this notion that we

6:26 are inherently broken and we're not enough inherently and that we need

6:30 fixing um and you're supplementing it with this new more accurate

6:36 perspective that we are already inherently whole and it's a remembering process.

6:41 Can you set a bit more of the stage for that framework?

6:45 Absolutely.

6:45 You know, people are looking for their problems, their blockages,

6:49 the interferences that are in the way of their life that they love,

6:53 of the joy that they want to experience,

6:55 of the success that they would like to be, you know, a part of.

6:59 Um, what happens is we build circuitry.

7:02 We build a perceptive field.

7:04 We build a reality that is based on I know there's a problem

7:07 and I have to find it so that I can fix it.

7:10 And when we spend day after day, you know, hour after hour,

7:14 moment by moment, really focused in on trying to find what my blockage is,

7:20 what happens is at the end of the day,

7:22 all we're good at is looking for problems to solve.

7:26 And maybe we get good at solving them, but the next day we will have to have

7:31 another problem to solve in order to feel accomplished,

7:34 like we actually achieved, you know, what we're here to do.

7:37 And that is a realm.

7:39 It is a reality, a world that people can live in and people

7:43 accomplish a lot of problem fixing and they do experience a lot of success.

7:48 And in a larger sphere of consciousness,

7:52 in a larger universe that we might allow ourselves to live

7:56 in, there is another way of looking at life and it is

8:00 that we are creators and that we don't have to use

8:03 that energy just on creating a solution for a problem that we found.

8:08 we can just go straight to the creation

8:10 of what we would love to be experiencing.

8:13 And as we learn how to do that, we

8:17 we're actually sitting back inside of ourselves more deeply.

8:20 Instead of living in our heads and strategizing

8:22 and thinking our way through it all, we're dropping inside, of course,

8:25 and learning how to sit down in the core of our being.

8:29 And as such we have access to different vibrational frequencies,

8:34 different uh energies that will

8:36 automatically generate different kinds of awarenesses,

8:40 different kinds of thoughts will spring forth from that as well.

8:44 And what happens is we see solution without problem.

8:49 We see possibility.

8:50 We see through potential simply because we're adding

8:53 more to the recipe uh as we move forward.

8:58 And what we're finding is that you know science is showing us this is

9:02 you know just a law of physics that all physical matter is compressed energy.

9:07 And so we are compressed energy.

9:10 Our physical body is energy that is compressed.

9:13 And so I got curious about well what's

9:16 the nature of that energy that is compressed?

9:18 Who is that?

9:19 What is that?

9:20 And if it was decompressed what would it be?

9:22 And it takes us to the quantum

9:24 field when you decompress and decompress and decompress.

9:27 So if you compress and compress and compress

9:30 that field of energy of infinite possibility,

9:32 you end up compressing into the physical form that is the human being.

9:37 The human system is compressed energy that is compressed in varying degrees.

9:42 For instance, our physical body is more

9:44 compressed than our thoughts and our emotional states, our chemistries, etc.

9:48 There's a there's a hierarchy of those those order of compressions.

9:53 But if you continue to decompress and decompress,

9:56 there's a there's a through line that takes us all the way to the infinite.

10:02 And that infinite recompressing down into this physical state has a through

10:07 line that actually connects us to what we would call source.

10:12 There's a direct connection.

10:13 So, we don't need to continue to think of ourselves as separate from that.

10:19 We just need to learn how to animate and utilize the vibrational frequencies

10:24 at higher and higher bandwidths that allow

10:27 that reunion to occur in our consciousness.

10:30 Allow the the unison to be true

10:34 in our perceptive field in our uh influencing the ways

10:38 that we think and operate and be because it

10:40 translates into uh the universe doesn't just have my back.

10:44 The universe comprises my back.

10:47 you know, it's I'm made of it.

10:49 So, I'm never not without I'm never not with it.

10:52 I'm always that.

10:55 And it's just a it's a way of shifting our our whole perception.

10:59 And when we do, we start to realize the constructs

11:04 that have divided us and separated us and caused us

11:08 to feel lacking and caused us to overly depend

11:14 on our mind to drive the bus to find safety and stability.

11:18 And all the while we could use

11:20 that mind differently in an observing witness sort

11:23 of way to sense and feel what is truly trying to rise up through this system.

11:29 And at some point I can show an image that kind of gives

11:33 a demonstration of how that all fits together when we get there.

11:37 Amazing.

11:38 Yeah.

11:39 The notion from the perspective of the individualistic mind could use

11:44 like so many different fuel sources to accomplish something in life, right?

11:48 We can use anger and fear and the seeking of validation to drive

11:52 us to accomplish our goals in life which can bear amazing results like this.

11:57 And it does for a lot of people.

11:59 But what do you think it is that we actually fundamentally want?

12:02 Because a lot of the goals that we chase, so to speak,

12:04 and the things that we proclaim that we want in life are essentially a means

12:10 to an end to a certain feeling that we think those things are going to give us.

12:14 And so the perspective that that I would just

12:17 want to keep exploring here is that those fuel sources,

12:20 while they can bear results, are not the only thing that's on offer.

12:25 And it's not just what you do, but who you are doing,

12:27 who you are being while you're doing what you're

12:29 doing and how you're the energy you're carrying in it.

12:32 And um and so talk to me about the difference about that come

12:36 from and the possibility to move from that state of wholeness instead of lack.

12:42 M you know who's doing the doing is everything really because we

12:46 all know that someone can do A, B and C and be

12:51 a great success and others can try to mimic that A, B

12:55 and C and will possibly not achieve the same kind of success.

13:00 Even if this individual is saying do A, B and C.

13:03 I did and look what happened for me.

13:05 So do these things.

13:06 But when you know person number two or person

13:09 number three or person number you know two million

13:13 and three um begins to try to do

13:16 those same things they're doing it from an intellectual standpoint.

13:19 Their educated mind is is deciding is making a choice

13:23 to do those same things to try to achieve those same things.

13:26 Whereas the individual initially that was able to achieve great success

13:31 in doing those things might have been following their own true deep path.

13:35 They might have been inspired and following

13:38 something that was deeply internal and heartfelt

13:41 or perhaps just a an impression that they

13:44 knew at a cellular level was their destiny.

13:47 And so they kept walking toward it,

13:50 but it may have been internally driven for them.

13:53 And so when everyone else tries to do the same thing,

13:55 it's externally driven for the crowd.

13:58 And so many of the crowd may accomplish

14:01 the same or similar because they had a similar destiny,

14:05 but many others may feel like what's the deal?

14:09 I'm doing all the do and I'm trying all the try and it's not happening for me.

14:13 It's not working for me.

14:15 And so what I love to do is, you know,

14:18 bring just kind of unveil this whole idea that the come from is everything.

14:24 you know how are you making your decisions from what part

14:27 of you uh is there a signal that you are re

14:31 receptive to perceiving able to perceive it and then taking action

14:36 on it and for most people it requires you know we got

14:40 to slow down we got to sit down and slow down

14:42 and find our deep core center and as we learn to do

14:46 that people start to feel at home they start to discover

14:51 and they start to feel a version of themselves that they didn't before.

14:56 They maybe didn't even know it existed.

14:58 And as they do, they they start to heal lots of things because

15:02 there's an essence that's being able

15:04 to be cultivated that is a healing vibration.

15:07 And that inside of that, they feel uh welcomed

15:10 and they feel more whole and complete and it's beautiful.

15:14 And as they continue to cultivate that, their mind has

15:19 determined that actually when I sat down, I started to heal.

15:23 Actually, when I slowed down, I started to heal.

15:25 Actually, when I stopped a lot of the things that I was doing before,

15:29 I began to heal and I feel so much more connected and I

15:33 feel so much more aligned and like I belong and I can make,

15:37 you know, a a better decision in my life

15:40 because I have found this different version of myself.

15:43 And the issue is then we now have a large population of people

15:49 that are very good at sitting down and being present with a greater truth.

15:54 And they can see, they can witness when someone else is not operating that way.

15:59 They can feel the vibration when someone is not being authentic.

16:03 They can discern these distinctions.

16:05 And it's a beautiful thing.

16:07 And what I feel is needed now is that that population of people that has

16:13 gotten so much better at sitting down

16:16 and being present with self that they learn how

16:20 to stand up and to take that stillness out into the world and to bring it

16:27 into the actions and the decisions

16:29 and the the leading of conversations into a different direction.

16:34 And we have to build the circuitry to be able to do that.

16:37 We have to stop running from this performing personality version of ourselves.

16:43 Sit down and find the true whole essential self.

16:47 And then as we discover that one,

16:50 stand up and take some action steps with that in such a way that we

16:55 can bring wisdom into conversations and we

16:58 can allow for um a reorganization of how

17:04 humanity is operating and what our value system is and how we make decisions

17:08 and what we what we move forward

17:10 as is a more complete version of humanity's potential.

17:15 So I don't know if I'm speaking to exactly what you're

17:19 asking but but steer me where you want to go with that.

17:22 Absolutely.

17:22 Yeah.

17:23 One thing that I think is is really important to highlight

17:25 there is that you get in touch with the experience

17:28 experience of the wholeness that you are and then

17:31 you go and put it into action and you move

17:33 from that place of knowing which is kind of where

17:36 the rubber meets the road and you get to uh use

17:39 life and the continual mirror that it is to meet

17:42 with what used to be resistance uh a more embracing loving self.

17:47 M I think the the the contrast or paradox for a lot of people is

17:54 that we do have this protective personality self that you speak to a lot

17:58 that is programmed pretty deeply from a young age and as this whole conversation

18:04 is also going to be pulling the from your new book Anatomy of Awakening.

18:08 uh starting with the protective personality in that self and then

18:13 we can start to go on the journey of of what

18:16 essentially is waking up and we can get into the science

18:19 and breaking down the nitty-gritty of what that actually means.

18:22 But starting with that for for people um that are familiar with, you know,

18:26 the programming that we're uh inculcated with from a from an early age,

18:31 how do you lay the framework for how that becomes the formula

18:34 in which a lot of adults continue to live their life from?

18:38 So, we're we're we're born into a world that is

18:41 all operating in this protectivism that we're speaking of.

18:46 Our parents are, you know,

18:47 trying to rear their children the best way that they know how.

18:50 And they're infusing the the same constructs that they believe

18:54 and that they were raised in and that they've experienced right into.

18:58 And so, of course, it keeps generation after generation,

19:01 you know, recreating itself.

19:03 And so we evolve into a state of adulthood

19:07 where we're able to look around and say, you know,

19:09 this whole thing that I've been taught and that I'm

19:11 living from doesn't match what I feel inside.

19:14 And so it stirs and the friction that it generates

19:18 is the fueling of this performing personality or this protective personality.

19:24 It's like there's not a match and either that's wrong or I'm wrong.

19:27 There's something that needs to change out there

19:29 or something that needs to change in here.

19:31 And so the individual has two choices.

19:34 They either push against it and try to outrun

19:36 it and beat it or they implode and they go

19:39 they internalize these whole distinctions that cause them to feel

19:44 less than or intimidated or hesitant in some way.

19:48 Either way, we're not really processing life from a realistic perspective.

19:53 There's a distortion in the field and we keep contributing to it.

19:57 And so we continue to be operating

20:00 in either a protective mode or a superperforming mode.

20:05 We either try to outrun it or we withdraw and hide

20:08 and and operate as though we are less than something.

20:12 And neither of those things are going to lead us to our destiny.

20:16 Except that they're actually going to show us the way

20:19 to find our divine destiny if we let them.

20:22 So when we have a reaction to something, when we get triggered by something,

20:27 when we find oursel resisting or withdrawing,

20:30 it's actually the perfect signage on the road

20:34 to point you in the direction of embracing the parts

20:37 of you that get pocketed off in those moments

20:41 when your internal environment isn't matching your external environment.

20:45 For instance, we show up, we're these loving beings,

20:48 you know, these puppies that were here just a moment ago.

20:50 It's like, who doesn't open their heart?

20:51 You can't be in a state of love when you see this.

20:54 That's how we arrive on the planet.

20:55 We are that.

20:56 You know, you look into the eyes of an infant and that glow is just right there.

21:00 There's an emanation and a and a beauty that's just pouring off of them.

21:04 And then little by little as we, you know,

21:07 begin to engage and and infuse ourselves into this world,

21:11 we start to layer on top of that um perceptive um

21:16 concepts and ways of using our faculties that that conceal us.

21:22 It's but that that internal presence is still there.

21:26 It's always going to be there.

21:28 It's what we're made of.

21:29 And so the truth is still there.

21:32 and our job is to discover it.

21:35 So when we're out here operating in this, you know,

21:39 in this survivalbased reality, um, we get triggered,

21:44 we get upset, we get reactive,

21:46 and if in that moment we recognize, um, I'm having a reaction here.

21:52 You know, I'm I'm a little triggered.

21:53 I can feel my heart beating.

21:54 I can feel the tension.

21:55 I feel my spine bow up a little bit.

21:57 you know, I'm a little bit more lucid in ways that that could

22:01 serve me if I knew what to do with that energy in that moment.

22:04 It's a beautiful sign.

22:06 So, so what I'm doing is having people recognize

22:10 that that in this moment instead of asking why do you do that?

22:16 Because every time you do it, it upsets me.

22:18 Or so what's wrong with you?

22:19 Like why what do I have to do to get you to stop doing that?

22:21 Or what's wrong with me that I'm reacting to this?

22:24 So what's wrong?

22:25 You know, what do I have to do differently?

22:27 Just ask a better question.

22:29 And that is, you know,

22:30 from from the foundation of the work that I do is is we're going to build

22:34 some new circuitry to be able to be

22:35 present with this situation instead of reactive to it.

22:38 We're going to be able to be

22:40 more merging with and collaborative with these energies.

22:44 So, we ask a better question and that is

22:46 where in my system could I build circuitry to be

22:50 able to tap into aspects of my deep consciousness

22:52 that's been pocketed away and pull it up and out?

22:57 Because if I could pull up and out all of the parts of my wholeness,

23:01 I could be present with anything and not be triggered, not be reactive.

23:05 I could see it for what it is and embrace

23:08 and maybe even keep my wherewithal enough to offer

23:12 up a solution or to offer up another way

23:14 of looking at things instead of getting emotional and reactive etc.

23:18 And so what is hidden inside of me wants out in a moment of being triggered.

23:23 And so if I ask the question, where in my system could I open a door

23:29 to allow that to contribute to my engagement at this time,

23:33 my interactions at this time,

23:36 the system will automatically offer up an answer because that's how we're built.

23:41 B body mind and breath are designed to operate together to allow this system

23:47 to flourish and to animate and to become uh im emergent in this world.

23:53 So we here somebody comes along says something

23:56 triggers me I ask where in my system could I build the circuitry to be able

24:00 to stay present at this moment and my mind

24:05 will go to here it'll go to here it'll go to here it'll go to here it'll

24:08 go to here it'll go somewhere instantly because

24:11 they're designed to operate together as a unified system.

24:15 You ask the question the the question is answered instantly.

24:18 We just haven't known that that's how we could operate

24:22 with this system and have it work and become superfunctional.

24:26 And so suddenly your mind has landed somewhere.

24:29 And then inside the work that we do to build this circuitry,

24:33 people are taught how to you know bring all of their awareness

24:37 into that area of the body that is a mirror to our consciousness.

24:41 When we are animated in all levels of our consciousness,

24:44 our body is responding accordingly.

24:47 It is healing.

24:48 It is self-illuminating.

24:50 It is uh capable of regenerating and moving forward

24:55 in an ever renewing way if we let it.

24:59 But if we're overriding it with our, you know,

25:02 shutting it down by the idea that you shouldn't do that because it upsets me

25:07 or that should never have happened 20 years ago or 50 years ago in my life.

25:12 And so I'm I'm now harboring this anger

25:16 or this frustration based upon what has happened in my story.

25:20 Now what happens is we say for just a moment I'm

25:24 going to get underneath that whole story layer of me and free

25:29 up this energy again because that anger can become passion

25:34 and that frustration can become uh an intuitive presence that allows us

25:40 the fortitude to begin again to stick with it to to not

25:44 let go of this opportunity to build the circuitry so

25:48 we can recycle those energies ies and use them to our advantage

25:52 once we know how once we learn how to do that.

25:55 And so it starts by being present with something.

25:58 But it doesn't stop there.

26:00 It starts by becoming present with it and then allowing

26:02 that energy to take on a new role in your life.

26:06 Instead of it being this pocketed off little crevice in your consciousness,

26:10 it becomes opening again.

26:13 And now that power can work in your favor instead of ultimately creating

26:18 cellular breakdown because we're trying to conceal

26:20 something that isn't designed to be concealed.

26:23 It won't be concealed.

26:24 It will create cellular breakdown,

26:27 a chronic degenerative disease, a cancer, you name it.

26:30 Or it will create an inability for us

26:33 to maintain that sort of anger or resentment.

26:37 and the mental capacities will begin to falter over time because

26:42 at the end of the day this system is a flowing open system.

26:46 It's not a closed system.

26:48 So when we close it off by shutting down with all these judgments

26:51 and all these you know angers that we're

26:54 harboring that energyy's got to go somewhere.

26:56 So it starts breaking things down.

26:58 So, this system of circuit building inside of the energy

27:02 codes and everything that I'm teaching is to teach

27:05 people how let's go into that reaction because it's

27:09 an energy that you don't know what to do with.

27:11 That's why we call it a trigger.

27:13 It spirals us into, you know, a loss of consciousness.

27:18 We get reactive and we're living in that reactivity.

27:20 But what if in that moment you could take that energy and use it to collaborate

27:27 and to build up a state of consciousness

27:30 within this system that allows us to transform,

27:34 not just transcend the primitive brain, not skip over it,

27:38 but to transform its function and its role in our lives.

27:42 Because when we do that, it gives us the power to stay the course.

27:46 And it gives us the strength to allow for yet another moment of circuit

27:51 building and another moment of circuit building

27:54 until we break free through that primitive

27:57 brain function that has us stopped and cycling and recycling and we open up

28:03 into higher brain centers where we can

28:06 be in a state of illumination and clarity.

28:11 And we can see that these things that have been happening since

28:14 we got here were actually trying to show us how to disassemble

28:19 the patterns of our ancestors and reassemble them in a state of relevance

28:24 and consciousness that is fluid with with a loving flow through our systems.

28:31 an intention for us to to grow and evolve and flourish,

28:36 which is what we're really here to do,

28:39 to experience the magnificence of ourselves

28:42 and of life and possibility instead of just fight,

28:45 you know, live to fight another day kind of thing.

28:48 And so when we learn how to the moment

28:52 that we feel a trigger, come into the body,

28:55 notice it, honor it, and not just sit there and be with it, but to, you know,

29:00 what we do is we we squeeze the tissues

29:03 to further accentuate the contraction that we're feeling

29:07 to let the body know that the mind is onto it and it's not abandoning this time.

29:12 It's going to stay the course together, mind and body.

29:16 And then we start breathing up and down through

29:18 a central channel that is part of this whole

29:20 invisible anatomy that I'm referring to um which we

29:23 can show an image of uh in a bit.

29:26 But what happens is we then are able

29:30 to route that energy up and down the central

29:34 core of our being which is for thousands

29:37 of years has been represented as the shashimuna.

29:40 It is now uh represented in this this toric field flow and energy

29:47 field that we know about bioenergetics and how energy moves through the body.

29:51 And at the center of that flow is where we have an integrative

29:56 capacity that brings all of the levels of consciousness that we are together.

30:02 It integrates them.

30:04 So if you think about it like a chakra

30:06 system that runs up the center of the body,

30:08 you know, we can sometimes be powerful.

30:10 We can sometimes be loving.

30:11 We could sometimes be deeply wise.

30:13 We could sometimes feel energetic and powerful.

30:16 We could sometimes speak our truths and and sometimes

30:19 listen uh and hear something that actually changes our lives.

30:22 Or we could sometimes uh have experiences

30:25 in meditation or multi-dimensional you know versions of ourselves.

30:29 But you know the real thing is when we can have all of that all the time.

30:34 When we can have each of those aspects of self

30:37 helping each other to stabilize and to ground and to integrate

30:41 and to translate those beautiful experiences that many have in meditation

30:46 in a way that makes a difference in their lives.

30:48 Like it turns into functional clarity in a moment where something at work isn't

30:53 going well and you can you know you can stay present instead of being reactive.

30:59 And so so the issues here's another part of my short answer here.

31:03 The issues that bother us are showing us exactly what is

31:09 needed now to have more of our wholeness animated in our lives.

31:14 And they're nothing more than that.

31:16 They aren't trying to take us out of the game.

31:18 They're trying to put us in a bigger game all the while.

31:23 We'll get right back to the episode.

31:25 A quick share.

31:26 If you have been following me for a while,

31:27 you know I care a lot about starting the day well.

31:30 And hydration is a simple lever that makes the world

31:33 of a difference on your energy, focus, and mood.

31:36 Many of us are chronically dehydrated, and a good support for that is Element.

31:41 Element is a zero sugar electrolyte drink

31:44 mix that contains a sciencebacked ratio of sodium,

31:47 magnesium, and potassium that helps regulate your appetite,

31:51 curb your cravings, and improve your brain function.

31:54 I've been drinking Element almost every day now for years,

31:57 and it genuinely helps with mental clarity and steady energy.

32:01 Whether it's post-workout sauna, during a long recording day,

32:05 or just dialing in hydration, it's a staple for me.

32:08 There's no sugar, no artificial colors, no junk,

32:12 and they're also branching out into retail

32:13 this year with their sparkling electrolyte water.

32:16 These things are absolutely crack.

32:18 Uh, if you want to try them out,

32:20 you can get a free 8count sample pack with Element's

32:23 most popular drink mix flavors with any purchase at drink lmnt.com/nol.

32:30 And if for any reason you don't like it,

32:32 they have a no questions asked refund policy.

32:34 You don't even have to send it back.

32:36 That's drinklnt.com/nol.

32:40 Everything is linked down in the description.

32:42 As always, thanks Element for supporting the show.

32:44 Back to the episode.

32:48 Let's keep going there.

32:49 So you referred to earlier the inherent

32:52 purity and innocence that we perceive emanating

32:54 from a newborn child and sometimes is

32:59 referred to the return of the second innocence.

33:01 Right?

33:02 It's all it's all one thing.

33:03 But as you grow through the traumatic

33:05 and personal developmental journey and process of individuation,

33:09 you pick up stuff along the way,

33:10 some of which you could say was genetically there ancestrally, whatever.

33:14 And the return of the second innocence is the matured remembering

33:17 and returning to that state that is that pure coherent energy.

33:23 And I love how you're inviting the perspective that where we feel resistance,

33:28 where we feel that stuck energy is not in the way, it's on the way.

33:33 It's the opportunity to reveal where

33:35 there is more opportunity for embracing self.

33:38 And I think for most of us

33:40 the difficulty is like making contact with that energy.

33:44 Some of some of probably why because we try to solve

33:47 a lot of the energetic problems with the level of the story

33:51 in the mind which I know you talk to about

33:54 how to get to the the raw energy of the experience.

33:57 Mhm.

33:58 I think there's many different therapies and doorways

34:00 to be able to access that space, right?

34:02 All the psychoanalysis and gestalt therapies and um

34:07 ways that we can enter through the mind.

34:10 But there's depending on the constitution of the individual,

34:13 sometimes just working and and getting directly intimate

34:16 with that energy is a more direct path.

34:19 Um, and so I'd love for you to share your thoughts on how

34:23 to one identify and raise awareness of where those pockets of stuck energy are.

34:29 Right?

34:30 If we're this open channel, if we're this open vessel,

34:32 where are those distortions, contortions within our system?

34:36 And then how can we effectively make contact

34:39 with it and then move it in a new direction.

34:42 So like really getting to that the pra that's

34:44 a really practical kind of question as somebody you know turns

34:48 off this podcast with a loving conversation with filled with puppies

34:52 and they meet a situation in life that triggers them

34:55 that is difficult for them to stay present with and have an open heart

34:58 with um how can they in real time meet that energy and transform it.

35:04 Yeah.

35:04 Beautiful.

35:05 So, what I like to remind people is that in that moment when

35:09 something is triggering or is just a real challenge and there it is.

35:13 It's right upon you, um, you know,

35:16 people often ask what what do you do in those moments

35:19 right there where the rubber's hitting the road right now.

35:22 And I like to to to say that, you know,

35:25 it's what you do in that moment is what you can do in that moment

35:29 is determined by what you by what you do in the in between moments.

35:33 In the moment before that happened, what were you doing?

35:36 What where were you?

35:38 Where were you living in your in your in your awareness of self?

35:42 How much of the field that is you are you filling up?

35:46 How much are you living into your wholeness?

35:50 Not just your potential,

35:51 because we have a tendency with a story around the word potential that it

35:55 sort of infers something in the future that I'm going to grow into.

35:59 But really, we're made of energy that is waiting to be potentiated.

36:04 It is waiting to just be activated and animated.

36:07 And so, when we are in the body, staying in the body,

36:12 we are grounding a tremendous amount of high frequency fullon potential energy.

36:20 We're we're grounding this unified field that we're made

36:24 of into this one grand central station of this physical system.

36:29 And so the first thing that I do

36:31 is invite people to anchor themselves in the body.

36:36 Now, of course, taking a belly breath starts to bring you from your head

36:39 into your heart down into the deep wisdom sense of who we are.

36:44 And by breathing in the belly, it nurtures that and keeps gathering

36:48 these billions of bits of information that are

36:51 bombarding us every millisecond here

36:53 in this body in terms of information, wisdom.

36:57 They're photons, little packets of consciousness, of awareness.

37:00 We want to gather them and gather them

37:02 in in a coherent fashion into the core of our being.

37:06 And so by belly breathing, simple as it seems, it it keeps that happening.

37:12 So do we do that all the time or do we just do it

37:15 as a little isolated practice in the morning and then get on with the day?

37:18 Do we stay?

37:20 Do we stay?

37:21 Do we stay?

37:22 And so then I teach people about anchor points,

37:25 ways that they can stay anchored in that channel, in that deep core space.

37:30 And so there are certain groups of muscles that we can

37:34 contract periodically throughout the day until we actually um you know

37:39 find ourselves going in to that aspect of our physicality

37:45 and doing so often enough that we actually set up camp there.

37:50 we it becomes our come from instead of just a go-to.

37:54 And as it becomes our come from, when you're

37:58 seated in this channel and anchored in this way,

38:02 you are going to have a different response to what happens in your day.

38:09 When someone crosses your path and says something that just is, you know,

38:14 antithetical to what you think and feel and believe or honor or value in life,

38:19 you're not going to be as reactive when you are grounded in the physicality.

38:25 Okay?

38:25 It stirs other parts of you.

38:28 It brings a presence forward that is not only your ancestral wisdom

38:35 but a timeless version of you that is capable of presencing with anything.

38:42 It's been there, it's done that, etc.

38:45 And so deep in this core channel, the sashimna is not time bound.

38:50 What that means is there's a stream of energy

38:52 in you that has been there and done that.

38:54 And if you can find yourself coming

38:57 into the depths of your being on a regular basis,

39:00 you will feel like things are more okay than you thought they were.

39:04 Nothing's changed, but you just feel like you could manage it if

39:08 if it sprung up or you'll have a sense of, you know,

39:12 I don't know what's happening in the world.

39:14 I don't know where we're headed.

39:15 I don't know what things are going to unfold.

39:17 Things certainly aren't the way they were,

39:18 you know, 5 years ago, 10 years ago, etc.

39:22 And I just know that I'll be okay.

39:25 That we'll be okay if we just stay grounded and present

39:29 and allowing the vibrational frequencies that emerge

39:33 when we're doing that to emerge.

39:36 One of which is a deeper state of loving presence than most people are,

39:42 you know, aware of there.

39:43 And I don't mean love like transactional love or romantic love.

39:48 I mean the love of life force itself.

39:52 I mean the the love that is the light that dances on the surface of the water.

39:57 The love that is what causes the you know the trees

40:02 to the leaves on the trees to rustle in a in a gentle breeze.

40:06 It is this essence that is source itself.

40:10 And we can develop a greater and greater appreciation

40:13 for that automatically the deeper inside this system we sit.

40:18 And the more deeply we sit there and breathe there and anchor there,

40:22 the more capable we are of allowing that to rise into uh becoming a, you know,

40:30 an activation of the brain in our gut,

40:33 which then allows through epigenetics, you know,

40:38 signals on these little antennas on the surface of the cells

40:41 to produce a message inward into the cell that says,

40:47 you know, things pretty good.

40:48 We don't need to be on edge.

40:50 We can chill and it's okay.

40:52 It's safe.

40:52 It's actually smart.

40:54 And when we do that, the energies begin to rise

40:57 through this system the way it's designed to run.

41:01 Uh and they rise to the heart space where we have neurotransmission happening.

41:06 We have the development of chemistries

41:09 that we didn't know happened in the heart.

41:11 Uh do and it stimulates the system to flourish in an unconditional way

41:19 and to continue to rise and to allow this consciousness to as we

41:25 said earlier transform the function of this primitive brain

41:30 into the the the the strength

41:32 and the fortitude to stay present in every situation.

41:36 and not be distorted, buckled over, derailed by it.

41:42 And what happens then is an area of the brain,

41:44 the the hypothalammus and the thalmus start talking to each other again.

41:48 This doorway opens, if you could envision it that way,

41:51 and they start communicating with each other again.

41:54 And when that happens,

41:55 it elicits a new response inside the center of the brain where the pineal

41:59 is and all of the functions that we know about the third eye,

42:04 you know, get to happen in an authentic way in an integrated way because we've

42:10 learned to stay instead of be affected

42:14 by the movie that we're walking around in.

42:17 This this collective agreed upon reality that we are all navigating.

42:22 And so what happens is we then illuminate in high brain center fashion

42:30 and what's happening is we're translating information

42:33 that's on the rise an emergence is happening.

42:37 So if we understand that system and then we fast

42:41 forward back to the question that you asked and say

42:44 what do you do when somebody you know triggers you

42:46 if if then something happens there in the in between

42:50 moments if we have an understanding of the system

42:53 that I just described and we're regularly anchoring

42:57 in these anchor points which I can show everybody you

42:59 know what that would be like if if that's appropriate.

43:02 Um, and we're living down inside this system in this way.

43:08 There is a richness that unfolds in every situation.

43:13 And we don't see it the same way that we did.

43:16 But if we do, if we're not like seasoned in this just yet,

43:20 and we're just learning about this or just hearing about this, um,

43:24 we would contract these anchor points which automatically pulls us right in.

43:29 And if we've been practicing that in the in between moments,

43:33 then when the going gets rough and the stakes are

43:35 higher and there's an upsetting situation in front of us,

43:38 it's not as hard to find this this seat of the soul, if you will.

43:44 And so it's what happens in the in between

43:47 moments that we build this familiarity.

43:49 And if that familiarity is there,

43:51 when this situation occurs, it doesn't derail us.

43:54 We recognize it as, oh, this is what I've been practicing for.

43:57 Oh, this is the deal.

43:58 This is actually the the the joy of life on earth is

44:02 that I get to find the parts of me that I've pocketed off.

44:06 And the body is going to tell the the story.

44:09 The body is going to show us where we have not

44:14 ignited those parts of us that we are here to ignite,

44:19 where our personal power has been shut down,

44:21 where our internal wisdom has been ignored or denied.

44:24 Where our voice has been shut down.

44:26 It's not an intellectual process that I'm describing.

44:29 It's a felt sense physiological response.

44:34 And when we when we it's called prahara when

44:37 we take our attention from the outer world to withdraw

44:39 our senses into the inner world where the truth resides

44:43 where the true self resides and uh our our abilities reside.

44:48 We can sense and feel.

44:50 We can learn to develop a sensitivity that we

44:54 feel the tightness in our chest the instant it happens.

44:56 We feel our throat clamp down.

44:58 We feel a knot in our stomach.

45:00 We feel, you know, a pressure in our gut in some way.

45:04 We feel weakness in our knees or a trembling in our musculature.

45:07 And people always equate that, you know,

45:09 like the trembling in the knees or the quivering in the musculature.

45:12 We equate that with a fear response.

45:15 But what if it wasn't?

45:16 What if we didn't learn that that jittering in your core was fear?

45:22 What if that jittering in your core was

45:24 actually your solar plexus trying to come online,

45:27 trying to hatch, trying to awaken, trying to open?

45:30 And if you handled it as such,

45:33 you would nurture it instead of running away from the situation to go get safe.

45:38 What if you would celebrate?

45:39 What if we were raised in an environment where our parents said,

45:42 "Hey, when you feel that thing, stay the course.

45:44 Plant your feet.

45:45 take a deep breath because you're birthing

45:47 yourself into a greater sense of power.

45:49 You're starting to get to know the reason that you came.

45:51 This is it.

45:52 And so we would lean in instead of run away.

45:55 We would embrace instead of you know reject and resist.

45:59 And so your question is how does someone you know sense and feel this?

46:05 We have to develop uh a sense ability.

46:08 We have to develop a nurtured relationship between mind and body

46:13 that allows the subconscious that is stored in the body.

46:17 The unresolvedness that is stored in the body to become

46:20 conscious that the when the body awakens body awake uh leads

46:25 to an ability to manage situations not only as triggers

46:30 come up but between the moments where triggers are coming up.

46:35 It allows us to become innovative and creative

46:39 and generative of projects and ideas and ways of living

46:43 that are more what we want rather than

46:47 just preparing for the next time I get triggered.

46:50 You know, it's just it's just not enough to to only

46:54 worry about what do I do when I'm triggered.

46:56 Yeah.

46:56 You know, it's it's really about how do I develop the creator in me?

47:01 uh rather than just prepare the defender in me.

47:07 A quick share.

47:08 If you've been listening for a while,

47:09 you know that one tool I have really enjoyed is red light therapy.

47:13 Every day for the past few years,

47:15 I start my mornings with meditation and a few days per week with red light.

47:19 It's made a noticeable difference in my energy and my sleep.

47:23 There are over 4,000 peer-reviewed

47:25 studies showing benefits for cellular healing,

47:28 supporting collagen, boosting testosterone, and so much more.

47:31 If you're interested in trying it, Bon Charge is a great choice.

47:35 Their red light devices like this one.

47:37 This is their demilight.

47:38 Has the lowest EMF on the market,

47:40 and it contains both near infrared and red light all-in-one lightweight device.

47:45 They ship worldwide.

47:47 They have an easy return policy and also an array

47:50 of other sciencebacked wellness products that are worth checking out.

47:57 coupon code know thyself to save 15%.

48:00 That's b.com/nolithself to save 15%.

48:06 All bond charged products are HSA fsa eligible

48:09 giving you taxfree savings of up to 40%.

48:12 I hope you enjoy.

48:13 Back to the show.

48:16 That's great.

48:17 No, that was that was very well said.

48:19 I uh I think about that space right between stimulus and response.

48:25 And by expanding that gap,

48:28 awareness itself has the ability to be like a solvent.

48:31 Awareness itself is a great solvent.

48:34 And I think such immense value that comes

48:36 from a meditative practice is you start to expand that gap,

48:40 you know, between you and your reactionary self,

48:44 the things that those triggers are igniting within you.

48:47 And in that you are literally reclaiming agency over your life.

48:51 For me, this is one of the most important things to to reflect on.

48:55 To the to the degree I'm a compulsive re reactionary

48:58 person is to the degree I'm not actually living my life.

49:02 these programs are living themselves out.

49:05 And that's really sad, you know,

49:06 because avoidance of pain and suffering is one thing,

49:09 but the missing of joy and beauty that's around us is another.

49:13 And to me, I think that that is really devastating.

49:16 Uh to be able to like be living life

49:19 and realize that you're actually not intimate with it.

49:22 not actually being connected to the degree you could be and thus

49:26 missing the beauty of the sound through the leaves and the light through

49:30 the through the trees and um this the simple moments that don't require

49:35 a grandiose huge you know experience um is is really is really beautiful.

49:41 So, like in this day and age,

49:43 especially ever increasingly, you turn on your phone,

49:46 the news, there's just more and more chaos every single day.

49:50 In this day and age,

49:51 like the biggest flex is just a regulated nervous system, [laughter] right?

49:55 And it's quite a big endeavor for most of us because we're kind of plugged

49:59 into a time in a society where there seems to be so much division and chaos.

50:04 And there is to a big degree.

50:06 Uh but to like reclaim that agency is to like again bring back

50:11 into space uh bring back into awareness

50:14 that space between stimulus and response.

50:17 And so what you mentioned with uh pratihara with the withdrawal

50:21 of the senses one of the eight limbs of yoga kind of taking

50:23 space at least once or twice a day where we can

50:26 kind of marinate in that sense of being that isn't so reactionary.

50:31 For me like that practice has brought

50:33 great awareness into when those triggers happen.

50:36 what's actually happening biochemically, the sensations in my body,

50:39 and then the fluctuations of my breath.

50:42 Like if something happens where I am not okay with it,

50:44 I have resistance to some degree for whatever reason,

50:47 I notice my breath go up here.

50:50 My my shoulders kind of come up a little bit.

50:52 I'm breathing more in my chest.

50:55 And you can actually notice that in real

50:56 time ever increasingly through these practices, you know, to expand that space.

51:00 Uh and to me that's like that's the birthplace of freedom

51:03 because then you're not living in response to the external circumstances

51:07 and seeking of them arrang arranging them in a certain way

51:10 but you actually get to be a creator of of your life.

51:13 You're you're that's what it means to actually

51:15 raise consciousness not this like woo woo philosophical

51:18 saying you know it's a really practical thing

51:21 that we can cultivate in our day-to-day life.

51:23 And so when you think about the the nervous

51:26 system and what you refer to as building the circuitry,

51:29 this energetic circuitry,

51:31 what what are the most important insights there that we should be remembering?

51:34 Because being with it, right, is one thing you talk about transforming it

51:38 into moving the energy in a new direction.

51:42 Mhm.

51:41 And then it's like building what you refer to Yeah.

51:44 as your energetic circuitry.

51:46 So what is that?

51:47 we can go into the subtle anatomy and and start kind of putting

51:50 up some charts for people and kind of getting getting into it.

51:53 Uh but for a lot of people as you go down this path and you go

51:58 deeper deeper down the contemplative path you start

52:00 to encounter things within your subtle subjective experience.

52:05 These obviously to varying degrees have

52:08 or haven't been proven by science, you know,

52:10 in terms of the objective subtle body or toriditic field or maraba

52:16 field or you know the different names we could give to it.

52:19 But for millennia, mystics upon doing

52:22 these contemplative practices for decades have

52:25 encountered repeating structures and the subtle anatomy of their of their body.

52:30 Um and uh and so that's the place we're going to.

52:34 As you wake up, you start to gain bigger and bigger awareness of like what

52:36 this life actually is and what the energy

52:38 that's making up our bodies is is structured

52:41 like but kind of going from the protective

52:44 self to that personality structure to a regulated

52:48 nervous system and then you start to have

52:51 more of these experiences that give you

52:54 contact with the greater truth of who you are which I know you've had you

52:58 know a few probably really big highlight

53:01 experiences that in those moments where you're actually

53:04 in the experience like the ontology of those experiences

53:08 obviously worth way more than any podcast you could listen to or a book you

53:12 could read because it becomes self-evident in that space

53:16 and that's where for me like there's a fine line here um

53:21 where in this industry of podcasting and sharing

53:23 information I I try to increasingly provide a space

53:26 that can bring people into an invitation

53:28 for them to explore it in their own self

53:31 and not a belief system that they just take that's replacing old ones,

53:35 which may or may not be improving their life to some degree,

53:38 but it's nothing compared to the actual experience

53:41 of validating what we're saying in your own experience.

53:44 That's where it becomes real instead of a philosophy

53:47 that you just carry in your life.

53:49 So, long story short, yeah, [laughter] you're speaking my language.

53:54 Yeah.

53:54 Uh, walk us through the process of building that energetic circuitry.

53:59 Beautiful.

54:00 Thank you for all of that.

54:01 So the you know here's the thing there are there

54:06 are two systems that run our body our life one is

54:10 the nervous system which we know about regulating the nervous system

54:14 is an essential thing for you know moving forward with health

54:17 and vitality and really transcending or transforming in my opinion

54:22 more importantly um you know this fight orflight you know tendency

54:25 and that the whole construct that we've developed and a way

54:28 of living that we've called a new normal form, right?

54:31 And so then we find out that, you know,

54:34 turns out I'm going to burn out my adrenals.

54:35 I'm going to, you know, compromise my immune system.

54:39 I'm going to, you know, decrease my ability to heal if I keep living this way.

54:43 And so we start getting interested in regulating that nervous system.

54:46 And then what we're saying is, you know,

54:48 once you regulate that nervous system or even have the intention to do so,

54:52 you're now starting on a different path.

54:54 You're not being reactive.

54:54 You're starting to become conscious and intentional about living your life.

54:58 And then what happens when we we don't have

55:00 to have it perfectly regulated and it will never be balanced.

55:04 It's always moving.

55:05 You know, parasympathetic, sympathetic dominance,

55:07 th those parts of the nervous system are always,

55:09 you know, depending on what's needed in any given moment.

55:12 We're supposed to be able to rise to the occasion, you know,

55:14 as if we were fighting a bear um

55:16 in in a moment when there's an emergency situation,

55:19 but we're also supposed to be able to come

55:20 down out of that when there is no emergency.

55:22 And what's happened is we get stuck in that emergency fight or flight.

55:25 So, we know that about the nervous system and it's a huge thing.

55:29 I'm thrilled that that's part of our vernacular and part

55:32 of our our common conversation now because when I opened my clinic,

55:37 you know, many years ago, a few decades ago,

55:40 um people didn't nobody knew [clears throat] about that conversation.

55:44 So, so we've come a long way in 40 years, you know, believe it or not.

55:48 And what happens when we do start to regulate that is we're

55:52 starting to animate this presence that has domain over our nervous system.

55:56 Like we have choice like I don't need to be

55:58 habituated into some pattern and just fight or flight,

56:01 you know, freak out because everybody else is.

56:04 I'm now I'm cultivating this observer version

56:08 of myself that has choice on how I'm,

56:10 you know, how I'm going to manage things.

56:12 So now what we're doing is starting to introduce the other system that runs

56:17 the body and runs our lives and it's actually the truth of who we are.

56:20 It's the electromagnetic energy system.

56:22 So when we talk about bioenergetics, it just means body energy.

56:27 And the body's energy is electromagnetic and it

56:31 is the master system over the whole thing.

56:35 Electrical before chemical as they say, right?

56:37 Yes.

56:37 Electrical before chemical.

56:39 And when when the heart is involved, when consciousness in is involved,

56:45 um consciousness in the body generates

56:47 the love experience that we're speaking about.

56:49 Consciousness in body form generates

56:51 the vibrational frequency that is loving presence.

56:55 It is it is our basic desire to to connect, to offer, to share, to to nurture.

57:03 Uh there there is underneath our fight orflight.

57:05 That's who we become.

57:07 Once we regulate the nervous system,

57:08 we automatically have a desire to do to do well

57:12 to to make better to to offer and to share.

57:16 And so it's important for people to realize that it's

57:18 like I'm just so busy regulating my nervous system.

57:20 I have no idea who I'll be once I do.

57:22 So it's a really good idea to have some sense of who

57:26 we would be being because we can go straight to that.

57:28 So here's the beauty of this electromagnetic energy system.

57:31 I call it the master system because it builds every system in your body.

57:36 It builds the nervous system.

57:37 It builds it in the developing embryo.

57:39 It builds the immune system, the chemical system.

57:42 It builds the the digestive and the respiratory systems of flow.

57:46 This master system is it.

57:49 It's in charge.

57:50 And what it's made of is the unified field compressed

57:54 and compressed and compressed and compressed into this physical dimension.

57:58 And it's having its way expressing in this world

58:01 through all these various systems that comprise our physiology.

58:05 And so when when you described, hey,

58:09 if I can just come in here and stay present with something,

58:14 some feeling that I'm feeling and not be afraid of that feeling,

58:17 not be afraid of that energy.

58:18 If I can just, you know, be with it, I start to master my fear of it.

58:25 If I can just, you know, allow it,

58:29 I can start to own domain over the the full keyboard of my existence.

58:36 I can I can animate all of it and not be afraid of any of it.

58:41 And when I do that, I start to become more and more of the truth of who I am.

58:46 I become more masterful at life.

58:48 I'm starting to identify with the master system

58:52 because the master system is the full keyboard.

58:54 It's all of the keys, all of the notes, all the black ones, all the white ones,

58:57 all the da da, all the octaves, you know, on a on a keyboard.

59:00 And so, if I am breathing with with more and more of myself,

59:06 I'm able to be present with more

59:09 and more of life's circumstances because I have familiarity.

59:13 There's resonance.

59:13 There's coherence.

59:14 I my autonomic nervous system is automatically going to recognize,

59:17 oh, I've felt this feeling before.

59:20 I don't have to be afraid of it.

59:21 or oh, I've been present with this kind of feeling.

59:24 I've had to come present with this kind of a feeling before.

59:27 And because of that, I know that I can

59:30 generate that presence no matter what my circumstances are.

59:33 And even if there's not a threatening circumstance,

59:36 I can go to that vibration and cultivate it on my own anytime I choose.

59:41 And so when we do that, we start to become

59:44 a vibrational uh coherence or resonance with higher and higher um possibilities,

59:51 more greater and I should call them greater and greater possibilities.

59:54 So I'm not afraid to step into the unknown because I kind of know it.

1:00:00 I know that I know the unknown.

1:00:03 I can feel it and sense it inside this system.

1:00:06 So, it's by coming into this core and allowing

1:00:12 it to to provide the opportunity for my consciousness

1:00:16 to land on vibrational frequencies that I used to avoid

1:00:20 at all costs because I didn't know what they meant.

1:00:23 I didn't know how to be with it.

1:00:25 I didn't know what it was going to mean in terms of my future or what have you.

1:00:30 And now that space, that gap as we broaden it,

1:00:34 we have the spaciousness to just invite it and to realize I

1:00:38 can be with this sensation and it's not going to take me out.

1:00:42 It's not going to kill me.

1:00:44 It's just an energy and I can breathe with this particular vibration.

1:00:48 And when I do, I come to know a version of myself that I would never have

1:00:53 may never have known if the set of circumstances

1:00:57 that's elicited it hadn't occurred and stirred it.

1:01:02 That what we have to realize is that we come into this dimension

1:01:05 so that those frequencies that we're unfamiliar with will get stirred.

1:01:10 So that we can awaken to them consciously.

1:01:13 so that we can experience

1:01:15 our wholeness regardless of our external circumstances.

1:01:19 So the circumstances are required to guide us

1:01:23 in and when we feel where is that impacting me?

1:01:27 Oh, it's got me right here.

1:01:29 Oh, that was getting me right here.

1:01:30 So wherever it is where it is impacting us

1:01:35 has everything to do with why it is impacting us

1:01:39 because the different areas of our body are correlating

1:01:44 directly to aspects of our wholeness in terms of consciousness.

1:01:48 Like we were saying earlier, my deep internal power is at the solar plexus.

1:01:53 And if I can learn to soften the solar plexus,

1:01:58 what what happens is the mind field,

1:02:01 the field of mental body energies is stored in the solar plexus.

1:02:05 So if I can soften here,

1:02:07 I can soften my mind's reactivity and I can allow my deep core wisdom

1:02:13 and the loving heart meet each other because I'm opening and breathing in here.

1:02:18 So when we start to feel that soften inside of us

1:02:21 because we're literally drawing everything right into this space and we're

1:02:26 cultivating the chemistry that allows for the outer world to be

1:02:30 tuned out and the inner world to be tuned up,

1:02:35 what happens is we do sense and feel these subtle responses.

1:02:40 We do feel the subtle nuances of our invisible anatomy.

1:02:44 And when that starts to land in our consciousness, it gets amplified.

1:02:49 It gets magnified.

1:02:51 And as it gets magnified and amplified,

1:02:54 we become uh able to nurture it and to utilize it.

1:03:00 And so when we start to feel something softening between the heart and the gut,

1:03:05 we are we're actually harnessing

1:03:08 our ability to transform ancestral lineage inheritance

1:03:14 in ways that we feel like we're

1:03:16 working something out that our ancestors couldn't.

1:03:19 We feel that we're we're having to, you know, carry the baton in some way.

1:03:25 People feel a little burdened by that sometimes,

1:03:28 but really it's how we come how we evolve.

1:03:32 It's how we carry it forward and into what we're meant to be in this world.

1:03:38 So by opening to the vibrations that we don't want to feel,

1:03:42 we allow them to settle and to stir aspects

1:03:47 of our sleepfulness and to bring it up to a conscious level.

1:03:51 So thereby, we become more of who we truly

1:03:55 are instead of constantly resisting or rejecting, you know,

1:04:00 these these parts of us in our attempts to defend and guard and and just get by.

1:04:06 This is this is good stuff.

1:04:08 This is good stuff.

1:04:09 Hey, [laughter] I So to continue on this train, you know,

1:04:13 I often think about the debates that happen between religious and science,

1:04:18 you know, religions and science.

1:04:19 And the argument is that like you could throw out all the sacred texts,

1:04:23 all the religious doctrines, and in a couple thousand years you probably

1:04:28 would have different texts that would come up, right?

1:04:29 The same Bible wouldn't be there, um, etc.

1:04:32 Science, like you would discover the same laws of physics, for example.

1:04:37 When it comes to who we are and the energetic circuitry,

1:04:41 I think we probably both would agree at that.

1:04:43 If we threw out all the yogic texts,

1:04:46 all of the understandings about what our subtle structure looks like,

1:04:51 um, the nature of the mind, in a couple of thousand years,

1:04:55 it would be much more like it on the science

1:04:57 side of things where we would still discover these structures,

1:04:59 these energy centers that correlate to a certain uh level of mind,

1:05:03 emotional landscape.

1:05:04 Um, and so I think it's it's important that the the role that teachers have,

1:05:10 especially like yourself,

1:05:12 that are bringing light to these to the anatomy of the internal,

1:05:18 more subtle, energetic electrical aspects of self.

1:05:22 Then it gives people a reference point to discover,

1:05:24 verify that in their own self,

1:05:26 but then also be able to work with when they experience a certain level of fear,

1:05:30 resentment, anger, guilt, um, ambition,

1:05:34 go up the whole center or the whole the whole spine.

1:05:37 You could correlate different parts and different

1:05:39 energies with different parts of your body.

1:05:41 Um, and so I'd love for you to walk us through now like we can throw

1:05:45 up a couple charts on screen when you're

1:05:47 talking about the actual structure of our energy.

1:05:52 What what is that that if people were to go

1:05:55 deep down this path they could potentially discover for themselves?

1:05:59 But what you know what have the yogic sciences said

1:06:02 and the contemplative practices revealed about um how the structure is made up.

1:06:07 Mhm.

1:06:08 Okay.

1:06:08 So we know that this electromagnetic energy system builds the physical body.

1:06:14 Okay.

1:06:15 In in in the developing embryo it's measurable.

1:06:17 We can we can watch the structure developing the physiology the physical

1:06:24 form and uh through the the multiplication and division of cellular

1:06:30 structure developing into tissues and systems in the in the physical

1:06:33 body and it does so through a rhythmic process that pulsates.

1:06:38 In other words, there's a pulsation in the developing

1:06:41 embryo before there's even a heart built to beat.

1:06:45 M so there's a pulsation to something that's happening.

1:06:49 There's an intelligence.

1:06:50 This innate intelligence that built the body will ultimately run the body

1:06:54 and heal the body and is it doesn't go away once we're born.

1:06:58 It's still here once we birth into you know

1:07:02 through the birth canal and out into the world.

1:07:03 That energetic is still present is still guiding.

1:07:08 How?

1:07:08 So, how would you like it's obviously the biggest miracle

1:07:12 of life that you get one cell from a mother,

1:07:14 one cell from a father and then this self

1:07:17 emerging complex organizing system called a fetus starts to develop

1:07:21 in the embryionic stage and you see how incredibly

1:07:24 intelligent this design that's springing forth in life, right?

1:07:31 Yeah.

1:07:29 The energy that you're saying is making the this possible, is it physical?

1:07:36 Do you think that the energy that we're referring

1:07:38 to is is inherently like a non there's a non-physical

1:07:41 component or is it just a subtle level of energy

1:07:44 that we don't maybe fully know or understand scientifically?

1:07:48 So if you think about everything is

1:07:52 energy and energy is vibrating at different frequencies

1:07:56 and the frequencies that we're used to experiencing

1:07:59 are at the physical end of the spectrum.

1:08:02 But it's one long continuum all the way to no experience

1:08:08 at all to the void to the great unified field of consciousness.

1:08:13 that if you take the densest material on the planet and go subtle and take

1:08:17 a microscopic look down into the subat subatomic

1:08:21 realm that you'd go down to the plank scale and you would see this foam

1:08:26 there's like we don't our instrumentation fails

1:08:29 at a certain point of understanding what energy

1:08:32 actually is right so we don't actually even know

1:08:35 but nonetheless yes there's levels to density and the subtleties of energy

1:08:40 yes so it's this essence that it It goes from nothing into a an essence,

1:08:46 a liquid light is how we describe what the cosmos is made of.

1:08:50 This liquid aquous solution that then continues

1:08:53 to compress into liquid crystallin structure that compresses

1:08:57 into crystallin structure which compresses into the physical

1:09:01 form that we're used to witnessing and experiencing.

1:09:04 The chair that we sit in, the body that's holding,

1:09:06 you know, space for this consciousness.

1:09:08 But it's all a continuum.

1:09:10 I call it this divine continuum because it goes from here to all

1:09:14 the way what we prefer or what we refer to as there.

1:09:18 You know, there is no there.

1:09:19 It's just right here and it's compressing compressing and compressing.

1:09:22 And so there is a field between us that represents

1:09:26 the truth of us and it goes through you

1:09:29 and between us and through me and it keeps going

1:09:32 on forever and we are all a part of that field.

1:09:35 Would you refer to that as consciousness itself

1:09:37 or how do you how do you label that?

1:09:39 What what yes I do personally and what science is showing us

1:09:43 is that the foundation of reality is based in consciousness that it's energy

1:09:48 that is awake that it's it is truly our drawing forth from this unified

1:09:54 field or the void is so much there that we can't measure it.

1:09:57 It's just everything that we draw forth

1:09:59 from this great void whatever we're choosing

1:10:02 to draw forth on a superconscious level

1:10:04 for the specific experience that we're here to have.

1:10:08 which the leading edge researchers in this field

1:10:10 are are ever increasingly starting to explore, right?

1:10:14 The materialist reductionist notion which is just

1:10:16 like a maybe 150 200 year paradigm.

1:10:19 It's like a a page on the turn of on the turn of humanity story, right?

1:10:24 But the leading edge consciousness researchers are are exploring

1:10:28 and starting to scientifically uh ver verify to increasing degrees

1:10:33 that consciousness is not an emergent phenomena from matter

1:10:37 but that matter is actually an emergent phenomena from consciousness.

1:10:41 And that is going to possibly be

1:10:43 the biggest revolution in our understanding of reality

1:10:46 and paradigm of of how we understand

1:10:49 the universe in the coming decades and century.

1:10:52 Um, so that was just a footnote because we've had, you know,

1:10:55 Donald Toffman on and various different consciousness researchers

1:10:58 who are exploring this from the contemplative practices,

1:11:00 but then also the scientific lens.

1:11:03 And it's a very exciting time to be alive where these two are coming together.

1:11:07 Yes, indeed.

1:11:07 We used to think that the body emanated the field,

1:11:11 but what we now know is that the field is

1:11:13 creating a body and then the body function creates another field.

1:11:18 But the the foundational process the anatomy

1:11:23 uh is and the physiological component there

1:11:26 is that the field is compressing and compressing

1:11:28 and compressing and compressing into physical form.

1:11:31 And so we are the field compressed into these bodies.

1:11:36 We are generating a body so that we

1:11:38 can come into this physical dimension and exchange.

1:11:41 And so we're directing our consciousness in to the physical exchange

1:11:46 and we get lost in the exchange and think that that's what's real.

1:11:50 And so what we're what we're doing,

1:11:52 what science is allowing is for us to open the blinders a little bit more so

1:11:56 that we can perceive more and satisfy the left

1:12:01 brain into allowing what is true to be seen, to be felt, to be experienced.

1:12:07 Otherwise, we shut it out and we just

1:12:09 are focused here on the physical matter that's observable.

1:12:13 So, the invisible world is the real world.

1:12:17 And this compressed physical exchange that we

1:12:20 witness is a reflection of why we came.

1:12:24 We came into this dimension to awaken to certain aspects of of who we are.

1:12:29 And so by the interactions and the dynamic there,

1:12:34 we we can either use it to our advantage or we

1:12:37 can get buckled over by it and and feel like, you know,

1:12:40 you're you're you're not being you're not being kind, you know,

1:12:43 and so if you're just presenting something to me and I learn how

1:12:48 to respond accordingly and maintain my identity

1:12:52 as this whole unified and integrated presence,

1:12:56 I can utilize the exchange that happens here to awaken

1:13:01 to parts of myself that I never would have known had

1:13:03 you not come along and said what you said or done

1:13:05 what you did right so it's we're at choice right

1:13:09 there which way are we going to play it are

1:13:11 we the body that is trying to find spirit or are

1:13:14 we the spirit that is coming into a body

1:13:17 for a darn good reason experiencing the things that we're experiencing right

1:13:22 it's so I one of the great joys of being able to do this is

1:13:26 to see so many different disciplines and agreeing

1:13:29 and saying the same thing from different angles.

1:13:32 You know, we just had a great uh advantic

1:13:34 teacher talking about the philosophy of understanding how oneness,

1:13:38 the consciousness of oneness differentiates itself into manyess

1:13:42 perhaps only for the joy of remembering its oneness.

1:13:45 And uh and you could look at it from the meditative lens

1:13:49 and the ancient wisdom traditions

1:13:50 to the scientific lens from the energetic lens.

1:13:53 Um, and yeah, I think this is just

1:13:55 a perfect foundation for then starting to understand, okay,

1:13:59 that's the that's the source of which all matter and energy

1:14:03 is kind of emerging from and now it takes a certain shape.

1:14:07 And so I'll let you continue.

1:14:10 Yeah.

1:14:10 So I didn't get into the full explanation to the your your previous question,

1:14:14 but we have so many exciting tangents we could just for hours.

1:14:16 So go over here and play.

1:14:17 Let's go over here [laughter] and play.

1:14:18 Um so this unified field you know we draw forth from this and through

1:14:24 a series of compressions we find oursel in this physical dimension and so

1:14:29 what I'm referencing as this continuum is the through line through those series

1:14:34 of compressions that we go through to bring ourselves here into this realm.

1:14:40 And so once here in this realm, the the pouring in of that continues to happen.

1:14:47 That that unified field, that essence,

1:14:49 that energy is still streaming into our experience.

1:14:53 It doesn't ever stop because we are that we are streaming ourselves here.

1:14:58 And so it takes on an anatomy.

1:15:01 It takes on a structure that we hit,

1:15:03 we hit this physicality and it starts to build and build and build upon itself.

1:15:08 This field, this stream folds over and over

1:15:11 and over and flourishes and flourishes and it

1:15:14 rises as high as it can go relative to how conscious we are while we're here.

1:15:21 If I can remain the consciousness that I was when I chose to come once I'm here,

1:15:26 I'm going to animate that on a conscious level.

1:15:30 If I don't recall it,

1:15:32 I'm going to splat and forget everything and try to and have to work

1:15:36 my way up for the pure joy of remembering the truth of who I am.

1:15:40 Right?

1:15:41 So, so as we do, we meet this we we the energy folds over

1:15:46 on itself enough that we we meet this state of consciousness that is revelatory.

1:15:52 We wake up.

1:15:53 We're like, "Oh, this is why I'm here.

1:15:55 This is what I'm doing.

1:15:56 I'm not I'm not this this outer layer of surviving, you know, presence.

1:16:01 Uh there's more to me.

1:16:02 There's a deeper stream here.

1:16:03 These river this river runs really deep.

1:16:05 And as I explore and find that deep within, like we were speaking about earlier,

1:16:10 I begin to recognize, oh, I'm this whole thing.

1:16:14 I get it.

1:16:15 And as we do, we start to recognize that everything

1:16:20 that's happening is in favor has been since I got here.

1:16:25 every single thing that has happened has been in my favor of awakening to this.

1:16:30 We we become, you know, truly realizing the system that's happening here.

1:16:34 And so what happens is physically we know

1:16:37 that the the bioenergetics of how this system

1:16:40 operates is there is energy pouring in goes

1:16:43 through the body before there's even a body.

1:16:46 It descends and hits the earth rises up and recycles into this toric field.

1:16:52 So it rises as high as it can go until we

1:16:56 hit a level of consciousness that we just can't keep together

1:17:00 yet and then it spills around and because our intention is

1:17:04 to come here and to have this experience it gets recycled.

1:17:08 So we draw it up again and it runs up again.

1:17:11 You'll see in this image right here is

1:17:13 just kind of a picture worth a thousand words.

1:17:15 First I'm going to show this continuum that I'm speaking about.

1:17:18 Just imagine this coming in from the unified field.

1:17:21 this swooping down continuum that hits the earth,

1:17:24 rises up and then projects out through our true, you know,

1:17:28 presence here in this physical form projects before us

1:17:31 into this technicolor movie that we're walking into all of our lives.

1:17:35 This rainbow movie that we're walking into.

1:17:38 And so we are able to see and draw

1:17:41 out of the unified field what we're here to see.

1:17:45 Those are the eyes that we look through.

1:17:47 And so we see opportunities or we see challenges or we

1:17:51 see a world that cares or a world that doesn't care.

1:17:54 All because if you look at this closeup,

1:17:56 you'll see that that the rising of this energy either rises

1:18:00 in its stable fashion and cycles around in this toric field.

1:18:04 Or you'll see how it circumvents and goes around

1:18:08 areas of our own consciousness that we've shut down it.

1:18:12 And as it goes around these aspects of our system that we've shut down,

1:18:17 maybe we loved once and we got hurt, so we shut it down there.

1:18:20 We we uh were ridiculed by uh a parent in some

1:18:24 way or a coach or a teacher at some young age

1:18:27 and so we shut down our personal power or we were

1:18:31 speaking our you know our delight in some situation got shut down.

1:18:35 So you know our throat center and these kinds of things are typical responses.

1:18:39 And so what happens in this rising energy is

1:18:42 that it now has to circumvent all these areas

1:18:45 that we've shut down and it creates a wobble

1:18:47 and it creates a distortion in this toric field system.

1:18:51 Now this person is standing inside this field looking out through

1:18:54 a distortion and they they it it reinvents over and over.

1:18:59 It confirms for them.

1:19:01 The movie is reflecting back to them how they have shut down in certain

1:19:06 ways by the way their experience is going and how people treat them today.

1:19:12 It's a reflection of what we've owned and what we've not owned,

1:19:16 what we've shut down or what we've flourished in and nurtured.

1:19:19 And so when we begin to see it this way,

1:19:23 we start to recognize that there's a whole system when

1:19:26 we put all of this together that is flowing and processing.

1:19:31 And as we're projecting out what's in front of us from a um distorted fashion,

1:19:38 we end up in a distorted reality that is constantly being confirmed for us.

1:19:43 It keeps recreating itself because we haven't

1:19:45 changed how this essence that we are,

1:19:48 this energy, this light can pour through us and onto the movie screen.

1:19:53 So the good news is when we bring our attention into the core

1:19:57 of the body based on a reaction that we have to a challenge that's

1:20:01 in our outer world or even based on a reaction that we have when

1:20:05 we start dreaming and visioning about the life that we would love to be living.

1:20:10 There's also a reaction when we start envisioning

1:20:13 what we what we feel like we came

1:20:15 here to have or to be here or to do or to contribute or to experience.

1:20:18 And we get we get all exhilarated or we get excited.

1:20:22 And there's a cellular response to that because we're tapping into what we

1:20:27 were built for that has been suppressed because we've shut certain things down.

1:20:32 And so when we feel that quiver, it's because we're opening and we're awakening,

1:20:37 but we've mispersceived that quiver as danger.

1:20:40 So we shut it down again and we avoid it.

1:20:43 So now that we see the the the the ability to bring

1:20:48 our attention into and feel where

1:20:50 these energies are bumping up against each other, there's no stream of flow.

1:20:55 And we can build a super highway for that stream of flow to happen.

1:20:59 And what happens is these areas that we've been circumventing and going around,

1:21:04 we we literally start to build circuitry through them.

1:21:07 We build consciousness through them every moment

1:21:10 that we are present with a feeling right

1:21:12 in this area or this area or this area or this area wherever we were directed.

1:21:17 When we can bring our consciousness there and melt

1:21:19 and soften and be with it and start to breathe up

1:21:22 and down this channel while staying anchored in these anchor points

1:21:26 at the base of our spine and at the heart center,

1:21:28 at the throat center, and at the third eye level,

1:21:31 we begin to build photon density.

1:21:35 these little packets of energy that are creating our reality.

1:21:38 We draw from the field what is required for a stability on the inside.

1:21:44 But because we've been externally focusing all of our lives,

1:21:48 we energy follows thought.

1:21:50 So all of our little photons rush into the story.

1:21:53 They rush on to the other people that we think are triggering us,

1:21:56 those people that abused us or those circumstances.

1:21:59 We don't gather the photons into the deep core center.

1:22:03 So if we're not gathering the photons, there's no felt sense of self.

1:22:08 If we gather more photons, it creates a substance.

1:22:12 It creates a concentration of energy packets of consciousness.

1:22:17 These little packets of awareness that our whole reality is built upon.

1:22:21 It follows thought.

1:22:22 We landed here.

1:22:23 We splatted and we externalized our attention.

1:22:26 Like figuring out what happened, where do I where did I go wrong?

1:22:29 Who do I need to please?

1:22:30 you know, what do I need to do to be okay or to fit in or to be safe?

1:22:33 And so now we're saying, you know what,

1:22:35 I'm [snorts] just going to gather this coming I I

1:22:37 call it coming onto subject versus being distracted onto object.

1:22:41 Coming on to self.

1:22:43 When we do, we gather enough photon density that the sensory

1:22:46 nervous system now can perceive there's someone in here.

1:22:51 There's a sense of me.

1:22:52 There's a presence here that I never knew I had.

1:22:54 And as we do and we do that in an organized fashion,

1:22:59 this whole structure gets to be enlivened with the true essence of who we are.

1:23:05 And so we now are gathering enough of a sense

1:23:09 of self that the sensory nervous system can pick up on it.

1:23:11 And it contributes to the processing of our nervous system

1:23:17 and our motor responses shift because our sensory input is more accurate.

1:23:24 We're now sensing through a filter that is

1:23:27 enlivened and conscious and integrated and embodied.

1:23:30 And so the information that rises to the brain to be

1:23:34 processed in terms of what should I do, who am I,

1:23:37 where do I go, what decisions do I make, what's appropriate for me,

1:23:41 what's possible for me is now based upon greater wholeness.

1:23:45 And as such the in the integrative nervous system that is processing

1:23:50 that information in the space of the gap between you know action

1:23:55 and reaction or input and reaction what or stimulus and response there's

1:24:01 a spaciousness now that is filled

1:24:03 with presence there's something here that's more

1:24:06 okay it's more whole and why that's possible is I'm animating inside

1:24:13 that wobble this wobble in the toric field in such a way

1:24:17 that the the whole continuum can be something I can relate to instead

1:24:22 of something like the divine or the heavens are there and I'm here.

1:24:29 There's a direct connection between the two

1:24:31 and I'm drawing upon those frequencies

1:24:34 that are full and whole and comprehensive when I'm filling this system.

1:24:40 And so my motor responses are going to be altered.

1:24:43 you know a scientific you know premise is input process output.

1:24:48 If you don't like the output we have to change the processing or we have

1:24:52 to change our perception of the input

1:24:54 if we don't like you know what's happening.

1:24:57 So we're here allowing the whole thing to be

1:25:00 connected again in this invisible anatomy in a structure

1:25:05 that shows us if you put these different studies together

1:25:10 uh we recognize that that this is how energy behaves.

1:25:13 is how light behaves.

1:25:15 And the wholeness of our being is being validated

1:25:18 and actually has been since the beginning of recorded

1:25:22 history through ancient Egypt and through India

1:25:24 and the yogic practices and even through Greek myth mythology.

1:25:28 These were all actually instruction manuals given the names

1:25:32 of gods and goddesses as parts of the whole cosmic principle,

1:25:37 the cosmic law that is governing this whole existence here.

1:25:42 It was instructions for you,

1:25:44 not talking about a god or a goddess that lived a long time ago,

1:25:48 but it got marginalized into that kind

1:25:52 of a conversation um in in terms of, you know,

1:25:56 what science would have us think when we were

1:25:58 only focusing on what we could see with our physical,

1:26:02 you know, our physical sciences.

1:26:04 Quantum science has changed the whole picture and allowed

1:26:07 us to realize that you find what you're looking for.

1:26:11 So we have to be aware of who's looking and what is our intention.

1:26:17 So many good nuggets in there.

1:26:19 I wanted to ask you about actually the the term the use of the term photon

1:26:25 as like a particle of light that you're using as a sort of packets of energy.

1:26:31 Um, I'm curious where do you why do you

1:26:33 choose to use that that language for that in particular?

1:26:36 Um, because I could see for for some

1:26:38 that are like more a bit more scientifically minded,

1:26:41 it might create an unnecessary rub

1:26:43 and receiving information because of preconceived notions

1:26:47 or sort of scientific delineation of what is energy versus what sounds cool.

1:26:52 And obviously because I think you're such a big and bright light,

1:26:55 I just want to invite that inquiry and see

1:26:57 what do you really mean when you're using those terms.

1:26:59 Okay.

1:27:00 So in the quantum world, right, where we are, you know,

1:27:03 at the at the at the meeting place between energy and physical matter,

1:27:09 we know that we can create a vacuum and um

1:27:14 a few randomly placed photons inside of this vacuum.

1:27:17 We can think a thought into that and they will rearrange.

1:27:20 And we know so that we have we we

1:27:23 know that we have influence over the physical world,

1:27:27 something that's almost matter,

1:27:29 something that's tangible and measurable with the power of thought,

1:27:33 concentration, and intention.

1:27:35 And so it's one of the terms in the subatomic world that I use

1:27:41 that simply because it's one that most

1:27:44 people have been exposed to on some level.

1:27:47 Just referencing this threshold between matter and non-matter

1:27:52 and the role of consciousness that that plays

1:27:55 that that consciousness plays in the materialization

1:27:59 of the collapsing of energy wave form into particle.

1:28:04 It's right there at that level that I'm just referencing the the doorway itself.

1:28:09 So, we can we can talk in other subatomic particles of quarks

1:28:14 and such that that are also this nearly invisible, you know,

1:28:19 aspect of life that what I'm wanting to do is just give people the opportunity

1:28:25 to realize that that our intentions play

1:28:28 a role that we can shift our DNA function.

1:28:31 We have an ability to shift physical form and that we have ability to move

1:28:37 and reshape self and the world around us with the power of our thought.

1:28:43 But our thought alone isn't enough usually to do that consistently enough

1:28:49 to create change and shift in our world in our life experience.

1:28:54 And so when we move into the deep core presence of self and then

1:28:59 introduce the qualities of love and intention

1:29:03 and a deep heartfelt sense of self, when we start to bring all of that together,

1:29:10 it generates enough consistency that we can do

1:29:14 that long enough inside of this space and time,

1:29:17 you know, version of the whole continuum.

1:29:22 uh to be able to see shift and change in our physical uh exchange in the world.

1:29:28 Um so hopefully that's helpful.

1:29:30 Yeah, I mean we could we could talk more about it if we want,

1:29:32 but I think uh largely uh there's a I think a distinction that I try to carry

1:29:39 most when exploring the mystical areas of life

1:29:42 where there's a there's a fine line, I guess,

1:29:44 between the precision of language and sort of um useful

1:29:48 metaphors to sort of have some sort of conceptual understanding

1:29:53 of what we're talking about because we're on a podcast

1:29:55 and if we were actually going to speak an absolute truth,

1:29:58 we'd probably just sit here silent.

1:30:00 the whole podcast.

1:30:01 [laughter] It probably wouldn't make for that great of a podcast.

1:30:04 Right.

1:30:04 Right.

1:30:04 Exactly.

1:30:05 So, it's always kind of discerning between between that.

1:30:07 I just wanted to make sure that uh do you feel

1:30:10 complete with the understanding of the the subtle anatomy or do

1:30:14 you want to uh I just want to make sure you

1:30:16 feel like you've kind of covered that uh the mapping of that.

1:30:21 If there are any other charts you want to magically

1:30:23 pop up on screen from the sashima channel toitic field

1:30:27 to the energy centers um is there anything else

1:30:31 in regards to that that you think is important to highlight?

1:30:34 Yeah.

1:30:34 So there's this other this other um little map that I

1:30:38 have here that we can take a look at that just starts

1:30:41 to bring in you know we have this um uh the chakra

1:30:45 system that people are a lot of people are familiar with.

1:30:48 And so I I speak about that as well in terms of levels of consciousness not just

1:30:54 wheels of energy inside the physical body but that each

1:30:57 of them are representing a different vibrational frequency.

1:31:01 On this same continuum there is a vibrational frequency.

1:31:04 So everything is energy and it's all vibrating in different frequencies.

1:31:07 And there are aspects of your frequency code that are you know the root

1:31:12 chakra chakra number one and and the this the wisdom chakra chakra number two.

1:31:16 And there are lots of different studies around the world

1:31:19 and different cultures that have divided chakra systems in different ways.

1:31:24 Um but in the use of a seven chakra system,

1:31:28 what I'm doing with the anatomy of awakening is saying,

1:31:31 you know what we need to do is explore levels

1:31:33 of consciousness that are uh even higher than chakras 1 through 7.

1:31:38 And so chakras 8 and 9 and 10 and 11 and 12 in a 12

1:31:43 chakra system are some of the things

1:31:45 that I'm bringing into the conversation for this reason.

1:31:48 When we begin to uh relate to and resonate with these additional five levels

1:31:55 of consciousness that that uh are also

1:31:58 included in our invisible and visible anatomy,

1:32:02 we begin to relate to and resonate with higher

1:32:06 and higher uh uh locations up that continuum.

1:32:11 So what were the five levels of consciousness?

1:32:13 Okay, so so they would be the higher five chakras.

1:32:16 So it would be chakra 8 and 9 and 10 11 and 12.

1:32:20 And so they are what I do is reference

1:32:23 it in the reverse because we start at chakra

1:32:27 12 which is more of a uh a presence a the the unified field coming into form.

1:32:34 You know, science would describe our existence here like

1:32:38 what we were talking about earlier where there's an essence

1:32:41 in the space in between us that runs through you

1:32:43 and keeps going forever and runs through me and keeps going forever.

1:32:47 And we are all part of that.

1:32:48 And so I oftentimes describe this as if you hung

1:32:51 up a big bed sheet and just a big, you know,

1:32:54 king-siz bed sheet and you came up uh to that sheet

1:32:58 that was hanging on on edge and you just pinched it.

1:33:02 That that pinching is the folding over

1:33:05 of this unified field and it compressing toward itself.

1:33:09 Those two pinches is basically what we are.

1:33:12 We are a wrinkle in this field of consciousness.

1:33:15 Yeah.

1:33:15 David Bow would with his implicate order would say would echo a similar

1:33:20 sentiment that there are like these nested or infolded realities within itself.

1:33:25 Um just another avenue for people to explore if they want.

1:33:29 Yes.

1:33:29 Yes.

1:33:29 Yes.

1:33:30 In fact, I think it was probably in some of his research that um

1:33:35 20 years ago when I was trying to figure out what was happening to me,

1:33:38 you know, these things are opening up in my consciousness.

1:33:40 I'm experiencing other realms.

1:33:42 What's going on?

1:33:43 because you know I was a doctor in a clinic and trying to just get

1:33:46 outcomes and results with people and I

1:33:48 was using energy medicine techniques and things like

1:33:51 that but um because I was raised with that uh but at the same time

1:33:56 it was it was stimulus response you know get this outcome we had to people had

1:34:00 to heal or I didn't have a a practice you know that's what I was

1:34:02 doing with people u then these things started opening up and I was I was

1:34:07 studying his his input and and the reversal output and that we are just flashing

1:34:13 um you know into existence here um through

1:34:16 this infoldment uh reality that that you're referencing.

1:34:19 So it's it's fascinating when you start putting all these things together.

1:34:23 And the reason that I had some of this and some of this and some

1:34:26 of this was because I needed to explain what I was experiencing.

1:34:29 It was experiential for me.

1:34:30 It wasn't it wasn't theoretical.

1:34:32 I was just curious about like what the heck is going on here?

1:34:36 Which is just important to highlight.

1:34:38 And I know you shared your story in kind of one

1:34:41 of your big transpersonal experiences last

1:34:43 time on the previous conversation we had,

1:34:46 but for scientific skeptical minds when it comes

1:34:50 to like the certainty around chakra systems and energetic structures,

1:34:55 um I think it's just important to continue to highlight that like

1:34:58 these aren't things that you or I are asking anyone to believe,

1:35:03 but to keep an open mind, not so much that it falls out of your head,

1:35:07 um but have an open mind to a degree where you

1:35:09 keep it as a possibility and if you were to have

1:35:12 the transpersonal experience up where it became self-evident that's the only

1:35:15 real way to kind of verify that within your experience.

1:35:19 Um but I just wanted to double down that it

1:35:22 is actually this is kind of coming from your own

1:35:24 experience that you're trying to make conceptual sense of um

1:35:28 and these structures that you can actually encounter um within yourself.

1:35:33 Uh yeah.

1:35:35 So yeah.

1:35:36 Yeah.

1:35:36 Thank you for that.

1:35:37 It absolutely is not a belief system.

1:35:40 You know, just think about it like there's a part

1:35:42 of you that feels um tender at times, right?

1:35:47 You just feel tender.

1:35:48 And there is a part of you that feels uh

1:35:51 that knows stuff that you maybe haven't even been taught,

1:35:54 but you just a situation shows up and you just know what to do.

1:35:58 But nobody said, "Hey, when this situation comes up,

1:36:00 do this." But through your assimilation

1:36:03 of past experience and your innate intelligence,

1:36:06 your own inherent wisdom, we in those moments,

1:36:09 we rush forward and we know what to do.

1:36:11 We it happens.

1:36:12 We just do.

1:36:13 And and there is a part of us that is just loving

1:36:16 and um willing to forgive even though X Y and Z has happened.

1:36:22 Uh or maybe not willing to forgive,

1:36:23 but when we decide to forgive, we feel the repercussions of that.

1:36:29 We feel the effects of having let go of something.

1:36:32 It's a physiological shift that anyone can sense.

1:36:36 Try it on.

1:36:37 And so what what all of you know the the sciences and all

1:36:43 of spirituality are actually trying to do

1:36:46 is bring organization to an understanding of that.

1:36:49 You know, in true spiritual practice, that's what we're doing.

1:36:53 We're inquiring into our true nature.

1:36:56 That's it.

1:36:57 So, it's not about religion in my world at all.

1:37:00 It's about, you know,

1:37:02 if you look deeply into some of the sacred texts and these writings

1:37:06 with the ears that have turned on inside of my system,

1:37:11 I hear or see something differently than I did 20 years

1:37:14 ago when I read it before I started having these experiences.

1:37:18 I see, oh my gosh, there's actually an instruction

1:37:21 manual there physiologically that isn't about a belief.

1:37:26 It became about that for so many.

1:37:28 But if you if you're looking into it from what

1:37:32 do I do and what is happening underneath the story energetically,

1:37:38 you can hear instructions being shown to you through um

1:37:44 the words that were spoken or the things that were said about,

1:37:47 you know, some or something some time long ago.

1:37:51 And if you're listening from this perspective,

1:37:54 you can actually perceive that a guidance was there about our own physiology,

1:38:02 very tangible parts of us, our own physicality.

1:38:05 And inside of the anatomy of awakening, I drew some parallels and showed people

1:38:10 that that that if you trace this back to the physiology,

1:38:14 you see the ventricular system in the brain and the central channel in the body.

1:38:19 And if you if you take this, you see that that this whole

1:38:24 deity that was being described in in Hinduism was actually um

1:38:30 about the primitive brain and transforming its function and we can see

1:38:36 uh that unfolding when we lay the sciences over upon one another.

1:38:41 So it's about like what if we just entertain what if this equals this and we

1:38:47 start bridging these worlds and these different disciplines

1:38:50 of study and we start allowing them to be

1:38:52 representing something within each other because I truly

1:38:56 contend that that science and spirituality have to work

1:39:02 together to really understand the essence of who

1:39:06 we are and we can prove a lot scientifically.

1:39:09 And then there's that little something extra that keeps us from being able

1:39:14 to go into a laboratory and create

1:39:15 a human being without that little something extra.

1:39:19 We know all the particles and all the chemistries and all

1:39:22 of the even the chemical reactions that take place between them.

1:39:25 But to actually build a human being, there's a little something more.

1:39:30 And you know, in spirituality can only go

1:39:33 so far if it doesn't include some leftbrain activity.

1:39:37 if it doesn't include some logic,

1:39:39 if it doesn't include some reproducibility and some substantiation that that can

1:39:44 settle our minds and allow us to feel comfortable exploring such things.

1:39:48 But I think that's where we sit right now that it's our job to blend

1:39:53 the two instead of edging something out

1:39:55 for the one thing that feels more comfortable for us.

1:39:58 You know, quantum science is really inviting us into that.

1:40:03 [clears throat] Yeah.

1:40:03 And that would require the more

1:40:06 scientifically oriented individuals to maintain an open

1:40:09 mind when exploring less immediately verifiable transpersonal

1:40:16 experiences and what people claim to experience.

1:40:19 And it requires individuals that are having mystical experiences

1:40:23 not to immediately label it with certainty as to um

1:40:28 as to what it is because There's a whole realm

1:40:33 of our mind that needs to make meaning out of experience.

1:40:37 And the subtlety between reality and a hallucinated state is fairly fine.

1:40:46 There is a saying that the psychotic drowns in the same

1:40:50 waters that the mystic swims in, you know, and so uh

1:40:55 discernment is just super important here.

1:40:58 And that's why I love having conversations

1:40:59 with individuals like yourself who can who

1:41:02 can do both and can have an [clears throat] open mind in regards to both.

1:41:05 Um, okay.

1:41:07 Continuing.

1:41:08 Yeah.

1:41:08 [laughter] Did you want to kind of uh finish off those upper five?

1:41:13 Sure.

1:41:14 You know, I just want to comment on what you were

1:41:15 just saying that what I think is helpful when it comes time

1:41:18 to discern and to keep grounded in these spiritual experiences instead

1:41:25 of spinning way out and becoming super esoteric is to is the body.

1:41:30 The physical body helps us.

1:41:32 The more we embody, the more we can translate those mystical

1:41:36 spiritual experiences into terms and processes and visions and inspirations

1:41:43 and intuitions and innovations that allow us to open our scientific

1:41:49 mind to discover more than science has been able to discover before.

1:41:55 Right?

1:41:56 So I think that it's the phys for us here in this physical dimension.

1:42:00 Our physical body has a lot to do with why we're here and how

1:42:05 to be here effectively and because it's the physical dimensioned version of us.

1:42:09 So if we can embody,

1:42:12 if we can integrate in the body and build more neurosircuitry

1:42:15 and breathe inside this system and animate these aspects of who we are,

1:42:21 we can more accurately interpret the things that may happen

1:42:26 in a meditative state or in a vision state or, you know,

1:42:30 in whatever it is that happens with someone, whether they're pursuing, you know,

1:42:36 uh, transcendental experiences or they just happen in in the shower one day.

1:42:40 You know that for us to be able to translate that into usable uh information

1:42:45 that changes our lives for the better that we can offer up to others as some

1:42:50 guidance or some reassurance at the very least

1:42:53 then then I feel that being embodied being

1:42:57 fully in the body facilitates our ability

1:43:00 to make it um understandable relatable accessible and reproducible.

1:43:07 And that's what the scientific world needs to see in order

1:43:10 to you know check the box and to feel that it has value.

1:43:14 Yeah.

1:43:14 Similarly also in the spiritual meditative side the grounding in an integration

1:43:21 and embodiment of expanded awareness and insight is very much so needed.

1:43:28 Uh especially as you integrate and embody that knowing

1:43:34 your presence inherently like a candle

1:43:36 will effortlessly illuminate darkness will

1:43:40 uh provide a level of a transformative quality in no

1:43:44 matter what field of work that you have in life.

1:43:46 You know, and for those that maybe have these experiences,

1:43:50 which can be on the one side like deeply transpersonal,

1:43:53 mystic, out-of- body experiences or the subtle recognition

1:43:57 of who you are in any given moment.

1:43:59 that carrying that recognition with you in your day-to-day life as a level

1:44:03 of embodiment um is what would keep somebody for example in the more scientific

1:44:11 mind uh a bit more open because there is something inherently like radiant

1:44:16 of somebody that embodies truth right and there is an inviting quality to it.

1:44:22 Um whereas the typical path is to proilitize your own

1:44:28 belief system into others to indoctrinate them into your own self-righteousness.

1:44:32 The other alternative is actually from the space

1:44:35 of needing no validation or um you know needing nothing.

1:44:40 You sort of get everything in a sense um in many different ways.

1:44:44 the person or the self that wants the world

1:44:46 cannot be the same one that receives it, you know, and so uh yeah,

1:44:51 I think I I I just love and especially in our last conversation,

1:44:55 you talked about the descended masters, you know,

1:44:58 so much of like the spiritual conversation this day and age is like we're here,

1:45:02 but we're supposed to get up and out and higher.

1:45:04 And sure to a degree there is there is a perspective there you know

1:45:09 um but to the degree our roots go deep the branches go high and uh

1:45:14 and so I just uh I love continuing to come back to like grounding this insight

1:45:19 you know coming back into your body

1:45:22 uh and seeing how they're all interconnected so

1:45:25 yes beautiful so what what I was saying about this map

1:45:29 is speaking about that exactly that that for anything to rise,

1:45:34 it has to descend first.

1:45:36 It has to drop in and then it rises automatically.

1:45:39 And so on this map, we see that that this you

1:45:43 know this level of consciousness that is our true nature,

1:45:46 our true essence, our unified fieldness,

1:45:49 the fact that we are that energy compressed into form is chakra 12.

1:45:54 The action of compressing, compressing and compressing and compressing gives

1:45:58 the experience of movement or gives

1:46:01 the experience of descending into this dimension

1:46:04 coming in through a series of compressions.

1:46:06 And so that's the chakra 11 is this cosmic

1:46:09 quality this universal quality of of of movement and compression.

1:46:14 And it is that movement that happens through our body

1:46:17 that is the sustaining quality of of being here.

1:46:21 the the the circulation of our blood, the regulation of our uh digestive system,

1:46:28 our hormonal system, you know, flourishing through the body.

1:46:32 The movement of that chemistry is the communication

1:46:35 and the connection that happens because we're compressing energy.

1:46:38 It generates a vibration which generates movement.

1:46:42 And so that's the chakra 11 aspect of us.

1:46:45 So what that translates to in like regular

1:46:48 speak is we're designed to be in flow.

1:46:51 We're designed to be in movement, which is why,

1:46:53 you know, our our popular conversation is find your flow.

1:46:56 Get in your flow.

1:46:57 Get in your get in that, you know, rhythm of your life and allow life

1:47:01 to be this stream because it's our true nature.

1:47:04 It's how we come in.

1:47:05 And so then chakra 10 is the the the quality

1:47:09 of consciousness that that does receive that does have.

1:47:13 It's the gathering and the the presencing of self here in this dimension.

1:47:18 And so it's like a vessel that fills and fills and fills.

1:47:21 And when the vessel fills and it brims over the top,

1:47:25 this this statement of, you know,

1:47:27 when your cup runth over kind of thing that it's it's the authenticity

1:47:33 of self that is building like we're not jumping out ahead of ourselves.

1:47:37 We're staying right on the self and allowing the self

1:47:40 to cultivate and allowing presence to cultivate inside this system.

1:47:44 And as it does, we awaken up through this primitive level

1:47:49 of survival into flourishing and abundance and sharing because we can feel it.

1:47:55 We know who we are.

1:47:56 We know that this is for us.

1:47:58 It isn't against us.

1:47:59 And it's an experience that we are generating for ourselves.

1:48:03 And so there's a level of consciousness that is revelatory in that way,

1:48:07 which I mentioned before.

1:48:08 But as you see in this map,

1:48:09 it's like one leads to another leads to another leads to another.

1:48:13 And in this revelatory state, we realize that this essence,

1:48:17 this unified field, this this infinite possibility is in our favor.

1:48:22 It's in our favor.

1:48:23 It's not against us.

1:48:24 That life is not against us.

1:48:25 And if we are perceiving it as such,

1:48:28 we are choosing a smaller reality for ourselves than than we could.

1:48:32 We could choose a bigger reality.

1:48:34 And the way to find it is to ironically to go deeper.

1:48:37 The deeper we go, the sooner we find that pure stream that is that through

1:48:43 line that is following this whole map

1:48:45 that we've flashed up and and shown people.

1:48:48 And so we see life as a blessing.

1:48:50 We see that we are being blessed and that we are

1:48:52 offering ourselves in into life in such a way that, you know,

1:48:58 leaves it better than we found it in terms

1:49:00 of this this thing that we're in this this collective,

1:49:04 you know, project that we're engaged in.

1:49:07 So, I love it.

1:49:09 I love it.

1:49:10 I uh I think these conversations can support people

1:49:18 in experimenting and uh getting in touch with that space themsel.

1:49:24 And to me, you know, where this really translates into how it changes people's

1:49:29 day-to-day experience is kind of how we started this conversation,

1:49:33 which is instead of orienting yourself towards the world

1:49:38 to fulfill a sense of lack within yourself, you're moving from joy.

1:49:42 And I'm just curious, what do you think is joy?

1:49:46 And what happens when we start to move

1:49:48 from that place and not in the search of it?

1:49:51 You know, I have to say that in the in the the transcendental experiences,

1:49:56 the transpersonal experiences that I have had and continue to have,

1:50:00 I just in this last month had another very large

1:50:05 opening that happened in real time actually while I was teaching

1:50:08 a course and I was leading a big meditation and usually

1:50:12 I stay in this like role of you know supporting

1:50:15 others and and it just sucked me in and all

1:50:18 of a sudden I was in it you know having

1:50:20 my own experience while I was you know trying to share

1:50:23 and guide hundreds of people into this you know experience simultaneously.

1:50:27 But uh the reason this one popped into my mind when you

1:50:30 asked this question was that there was so much vibratory ecstatic joy

1:50:36 in the midst of this moment that uh something just moved forward

1:50:42 in my um in my reality in a in a in a beautiful way.

1:50:48 But here's what I know.

1:50:49 Every time that I've had these these massive openings,

1:50:53 this sense of joy is almost unspeakable.

1:50:57 Like the one that I shared with in our other um

1:51:00 in our other conversation was just this exalted state high above the earth.

1:51:05 Could see in every direction, you know,

1:51:08 the same in a light so brilliantly bright.

1:51:10 It was 10 times brighter than the brightest thing

1:51:12 I'd ever experienced in the desert or anywhere else.

1:51:15 and I was suspended above the earth and I

1:51:18 knew that this was the truth of you know who

1:51:21 I was and who we are and that we were

1:51:25 engaging in a project here in this in this dimension.

1:51:28 It's not this isn't all that we are.

1:51:31 It is who we are but it's not all that we are.

1:51:33 It's we're more than meets this eye here.

1:51:36 And so the state of being in that exalted um realm was complete joy,

1:51:45 complete just peace and joy combined.

1:51:48 Like there was just nothing missing.

1:51:50 There was nothing else, nothing to do, nothing to become,

1:51:54 nothing except this pure illuminated truth about, you know,

1:52:00 who we are and and what we are.

1:52:03 and these you know and then you know through the 20

1:52:08 year 25 years I've had multiple of these experiences and every

1:52:12 time joy is a factor bigger than I knew before

1:52:17 and and so what I know is that when when this energy is

1:52:22 compressed there's a vibration and at its foundational level that vibration

1:52:28 is in my experience the most ecstatic presence of love and delight

1:52:34 and joy that that I could ever have imag more than

1:52:39 I could have ever imagined more than I could have ever imagined.

1:52:43 And so I feel that it is the experience

1:52:46 that happens when we decompress enough but we are

1:52:50 still in the body form that we can feel

1:52:53 the vibrations of the true essence of who we are.

1:52:57 We can experience that on a vibrational level in the body.

1:53:01 It feels beyond the body.

1:53:03 It feels like it's in here and out here

1:53:05 to the point that there's no division between inner and outer.

1:53:10 It's just an ecstatic presence.

1:53:11 And I think the degree to which we open and integrate

1:53:15 and embody uh will determine the degree of consistent and sustainable life joy,

1:53:23 joyful life experience that it's an opening.

1:53:26 It's a decompression of of of an overly

1:53:29 compressed state that we have generated upon ourselves because

1:53:34 of an overuse of thinking without a present allowing

1:53:39 an equal presence of love and breath inside the body.

1:53:45 That when love and breath and consciousness are combined

1:53:48 and we decompress enough of our beliefs and our past experience

1:53:52 through story of the history of our lives and the contractions

1:53:56 that we created that when enough of that is integrated.

1:54:01 We release inside and we allow something more belonging to have a life

1:54:07 and something more pure to be presencing

1:54:10 itself in all different kinds of life experiences.

1:54:13 And that vibration that is generated in those moments is what we

1:54:18 call joy in in my ability to translate that uh best I can.

1:54:25 Yeah, of course beyond words.

1:54:26 Uh but in my similarly in my experience like those those experiences

1:54:33 like expand you to a place where you cannot contract beyond that knowing.

1:54:37 It's a reference point that kind of carries with you vibrationally,

1:54:41 if you will, for through all that you do.

1:54:44 Um, and that's why I've found like we're recently going to, you know,

1:54:50 this year we're we're planning different live events to bring this community

1:54:53 that's online and podcast online in person to start exploring these, you know,

1:54:57 these practices and these insights in person cuz

1:55:00 for me like the transformational containers of like

1:55:03 immersive experiences in person is where I've like

1:55:06 really transformed and grow them grown the most.

1:55:09 when you really get to actually experience it and it's not

1:55:12 a fanciful thing you hear on a on a show, you know.

1:55:15 Yeah.

1:55:15 As a side, if people want to

1:55:18 um more information on that, we'll we'll leave a link down in the description.

1:55:20 I'm I'm feeling just really excited about cultivating the the community that can

1:55:24 have these experiences and then go back into the rest of their life.

1:55:27 And that insight and that expanded awareness carries

1:55:31 into everything else they do in their relationships.

1:55:33 And

1:55:35 um it's cool to see how you refer to this joy that is like ever increasing like

1:55:39 there once you think there's like a certain

1:55:41 amount of love or joy that you can hold, you can like expand beyond that.

1:55:45 Yes.

1:55:45 Keep going.

1:55:46 It's it's a lot.

1:55:47 And so it keeps me delving even

1:55:50 deeper and building deeper circuitry and accepting even

1:55:53 more and deepening my roots into you know

1:55:56 like chakra 10 is the invisible root chakra.

1:55:59 you know, for it's like they the root chakra for this larger anatomy.

1:56:04 So, here's another image that shows this whole

1:56:07 12 chakra system and how they fit together.

1:56:09 We have this this immediate chakras 1 through seven that everyone's

1:56:12 familiar with and then there's an eight and a nine

1:56:14 overhead and a 10 that is deep in the earth

1:56:17 and then an 11 which is the energy and the essence

1:56:20 that is cycling inside this whole big chakra 12

1:56:24 of you know which is referenced as this light body

1:56:26 or the energetic you know system uh foundation that that I'm

1:56:31 deepening into in chakra 10 is referencing this divine destiny.

1:56:36 It's like it's your destiny to have this joy.

1:56:38 It's your destiny to awaken to the ecstatic self while you're here walking

1:56:43 and talking and living right through

1:56:45 the illusionary boundaries that we've been operating in.

1:56:49 And so when we have these experiences and I love that you're you're

1:56:53 going to do some live events uh because people love to do that.

1:56:58 But I know when I have my live events,

1:57:00 people come and they just they open up and they flourish.

1:57:03 And we find these frequencies that are that are compounded

1:57:07 with other people in the space doing the same thing.

1:57:10 When someone in the space starts to get it, open up and integrate, you know,

1:57:14 pop other people do the same because we're in coherence and we're just,

1:57:20 you know, each other showing the way

1:57:22 for these these greater openings of of embodiment.

1:57:25 So inside of that you know as these openings keep

1:57:29 happening with me I start experiencing you know beyond the greatest

1:57:34 experiences I had 20 years ago it is I I

1:57:37 I couldn't begin to measure the difference in the life experience

1:57:41 I'm having now in terms of even finding joy in situations

1:57:46 that would have upset me previously that I see it

1:57:50 completely differently and I delight in the project that humanity is

1:57:55 creating creating for itself in the myriad of different vibrational presence,

1:58:00 you know, presentations that are happening with different peoples, you know,

1:58:04 in their their varied beliefs and ways of operating, etc.

1:58:09 That things that you would have derailed me before I find joy in it.

1:58:14 There's something really powerful about just the comical nature of it

1:58:17 in a sense and being able to laugh at yourself.

1:58:19 Even when you get triggered, you still have a relative degree of like

1:58:24 like the the the funny nature that you're

1:58:27 being triggered by something you're perceiving outside of yourself.

1:58:30 It's not like a a detached essence.

1:58:33 It's it's it's more of like there's a like life

1:58:38 is perfectly designed to trigger you for your own greatest evolution.

1:58:42 And the more that you like increasingly are aware of that,

1:58:46 the more it's funny when you can kind of catch yourself slipping back into that.

1:58:51 Yeah.

1:58:51 And to me that just creates a little bit of separation also between like taking

1:58:54 it seriously um and you know maintains more contact to be able to work with it.

1:59:00 And you know what that is in my perception

1:59:03 is that's a way that selflove expresses.

1:59:08 You're loving yourself.

1:59:08 You're like, "Oh, come on.

1:59:09 Look what you just did.

1:59:10 Come here.

1:59:10 Come here." You know, he's silly.

1:59:12 Come on, don't do that.

1:59:12 Let's do this instead.

1:59:14 And by playing with it that way,

1:59:16 that that love is what we wanted to be experiencing when we landed here.

1:59:22 And the people around us didn't know how to do

1:59:24 that because they were lost in the splat as well.

1:59:28 And so we can generate that and we pick up right

1:59:32 where we left off way back then because we're truly timeless.

1:59:36 And so if we'll allow that presence to be cultivated

1:59:40 by ourselves for ourselves in in the midst of all

1:59:43 of this, it generates this this beautiful um you know

1:59:48 life laboratory that is more like a playground than a laboratory.

1:59:52 [laughter] Yeah.

1:59:54 There was this happened a few days ago.

1:59:56 I was just driving uh through LA.

1:59:58 Traffic is crazy.

2:00:00 This one person cut me off in like a crazy way and I got irritated.

2:00:05 Um, and uh, but like immediately after and like this person

2:00:10 was like on their phone just driving reckless like super dumb.

2:00:12 But I was I saw myself getting irritated at it

2:00:16 and but like fairly short within a couple seconds after I just

2:00:19 kind of like chuckled at myself like why aren't you acting

2:00:22 the exact same way I want you to, [laughter] you know?

2:00:25 and like making light of how we subconsciously like expect

2:00:32 life to happen in the exact way we want it to.

2:00:35 [laughter] Right.

2:00:36 Right.

2:00:37 And and then just like you know for me that's just another way

2:00:41 to kind of undermine the substantiality we give to like a lot of these triggers.

2:00:48 It's almost like a table with like three legs.

2:00:50 It's like there's always if you could always kick it out underneath you.

2:00:53 Um and to me again that's just another way to like create a bit self- loveve

2:00:58 and just diffuse the seriousness we carry so

2:01:00 much in life that causes so much suffering.

2:01:03 Um so yeah just a if the foundation of our being is is you know ananda

2:01:09 is bliss is joy is delight if we can bring delight

2:01:13 into the retraining process then what we're doing is actually revisiting

2:01:18 these parts and coming back and picking them up in a loving fashion.

2:01:23 we're guiding and nurturing instead of trying

2:01:26 to beat ourselves over the head for reacting.

2:01:29 You know, now I have a reaction to the fact that I'm reacting.

2:01:31 And um and that just tightens down the entanglement.

2:01:35 And what we have to do is just breathe

2:01:38 into that in a in a loving and supportive way.

2:01:40 And the next thing we know, we're we're building a new structure based upon,

2:01:44 you know, presence and possibility and and this realm

2:01:48 that we try to achieve toward.

2:01:51 All we have to do is start actioning from that place and we begin to, you know,

2:01:56 become that in all in all of life's circumstances, you know.

2:02:00 Yeah.

2:02:00 And and to me it feels like there's

2:02:02 a progression there of when you get triggered.

2:02:05 It's like an allconsuming ever pervasive distortion in your mind,

2:02:10 in your body, and it you become it, you know,

2:02:13 and then it's like you start to create a bit more distance and it

2:02:15 diffuses it and maybe you just get pissed off for a little bit,

2:02:19 you know, to then where it's like instead of a forefront for brain takeover.

2:02:24 It's sort of like less of a shout and more of a whisper, you know,

2:02:27 and like it becomes more and more subtle in terms of the annoyance,

2:02:31 the irritation to the resistance to what is in every g given circumstance.

2:02:36 And then the contemplative practices would say there's

2:02:39 a point where you actually can dissolve the self.

2:02:41 You're still fully involved in the world,

2:02:42 but you're no longer ever under the presumption that life is happening to me.

2:02:47 There is a solid self in which is

2:02:50 a victim of the external circumstances happening in the world.

2:02:54 And like to that point is like absolute freedom.

2:02:57 The journey and the gradient up to there is

2:02:59 everinccreasing access to more and more freedom, you know, energy.

2:03:03 And uh and so I I love that you brought

2:03:06 in self- loveve and it kind of just self-compassion along

2:03:08 the journey because it it allow it it allows you

2:03:13 to continue to move on that path, you know, and

2:03:17 and realize that like this is very much so in many

2:03:19 ways the game we're here to play, you know, and so it

2:03:22 there's like the there is the irritation that we

2:03:25 think the world is creating and there is

2:03:27 the second dagger that we twist and to ourselves

2:03:30 for the judgment of having the irritation, you Right.

2:03:33 And so like I think that perspective that is is super helpful to be able

2:03:38 to stop twisting the arrow that you that you know the world puts in you first.

2:03:42 Right.

2:03:43 At at some point we have to recognize that our response

2:03:46 to all that is unfolding is ours to choose.

2:03:51 And you know what I love doing is just bringing people into the self

2:03:56 enough finding ways to stay and sit and breathe and be there.

2:04:00 uh that allows us to remain um compassionate and caring and present, you know,

2:04:06 because it's really the parts of us that we marginalized at the beginning

2:04:10 of our life experience that we're having to go back and get.

2:04:14 And the only way to call them back out of hiding is

2:04:18 to be what we were unable to be when we shoved them aside.

2:04:22 We didn't have the wherewithal to do that.

2:04:24 So it is always going to be love

2:04:26 whether it's self-compassion or presence or just you know

2:04:30 breathing slower slow down your mind create the space

2:04:33 to allow for some of that to just come back into your working environment uh

2:04:39 into the recipe that you're operating from so that you

2:04:42 are now a rising presence instead of a hollow

2:04:47 program that you were running on before.

2:04:51 Yeah.

2:04:51 And I think this is this will continue to help ground

2:04:54 a lot of this conversation is for everybody that's listening right now.

2:04:58 Like we all have had those early

2:05:00 developmental experiences where something happened in our youth

2:05:04 that was beyond our ability to process it

2:05:06 in the moment creating some sort of behavioral compensation,

2:05:10 a shift in identity structure,

2:05:12 a personality formation that becomes the color tinted

2:05:16 glasses in which we view the world through.

2:05:18 And through many of the practices and insights

2:05:21 and things we've been sharing in this conversation, you start to diffuse that.

2:05:24 You start to get a bit more curious.

2:05:25 You start to what you could say is take full custody of your inner child again.

2:05:30 And you start to be a bit more soft around those triggers.

2:05:35 Um and there in your work you explained

2:05:39 the direct link between the emotional blockages that we

2:05:43 have the corresponding biological diseases and illness and sickness

2:05:48 that can then come from it those energy centers.

2:05:52 Um and I think we largely just overlook how psychosmatic physical diseases are.

2:05:59 We think of them as purely physical failing to realize

2:06:02 there is an energetic and mental emotional component to it.

2:06:06 So for everybody that can you know they everybody

2:06:09 listening right now has their own area of stuck energy.

2:06:12 You know to varying degrees we're aware of it.

2:06:14 There's there's certain parts in our body that we

2:06:16 feel it certain organs that aren't functioning as well.

2:06:20 Um, and disease is one way that we become it becomes glaringly

2:06:25 obvious that there's an issue or or blockage in our in our system.

2:06:29 Now, I would just love for you to share whatever you

2:06:32 want in regards to how emotion and these sort of mental

2:06:38 distortions and coping mechanisms are tied directly to the biological

2:06:44 uh stuckness of energy and diseases that forth come after that.

2:06:48 how they're kind of connected and how people can

2:06:51 start to gain awareness and and and give loving attention

2:06:55 to those to those spaces uh which will then result in who

2:07:00 knows what but for a lot of people big healings greater joy

2:07:05 and so on and so forth.

2:07:07 Yeah.

2:07:07 You know what what people don't many people don't realize

2:07:10 is that the physical body is the caboose on a train

2:07:15 that is being driven by uh the full-on acceptance

2:07:19 of our our conscious magnificence really

2:07:22 our consciousness and the magnitude of it.

2:07:24 And so if we're not aware of our magnificence

2:07:29 in some way or another, and we're not,

2:07:30 we're all learning and realizing and remembering um then what happens is

2:07:35 the caboose can only go where the engine is taking it, right?

2:07:39 It just follows the path.

2:07:40 So the physical body is a reflection

2:07:42 of what we're embracing and what we're rejecting.

2:07:45 It's just as simple as that.

2:07:46 So well, it's not simple.

2:07:48 It's very complex, but and it runs our lives.

2:07:51 Um but it is it's it's clear that the physiology is

2:07:55 a reflection of what consciousness is being embraced and what is being rejected.

2:07:59 And so if I am rejecting a part of my own, you know, ability,

2:08:04 my capacity, my okayness, my well-being,

2:08:07 my fullness, my my um my inherent sovereignty,

2:08:12 then my physical body is going to reflect what happens when I live in a state

2:08:17 of fear or when I live in a state of anger or resentment or frustration.

2:08:20 And so we have a myriad of physical ailments that correlate to, you know,

2:08:25 different shutdowns in the body that we were referring to earlier.

2:08:29 And there's a place in the body where those energies impact us.

2:08:35 In other words, there are certain patterns

2:08:37 of effect that anger creates in in the human

2:08:42 system and fear generates a different effect

2:08:46 and animosity or resentment or fear or uh anxiety.

2:08:50 They each have their own pattern

2:08:53 of influences in the physiology which then influence

2:08:57 the levels of consciousness that different organs

2:09:00 and systems of the body correlate to.

2:09:04 So literally there is a state of consciousness

2:09:07 that that is influencing for for example our respiratory system.

2:09:13 If I am in rejection to life and I'm not exchanging easily with life,

2:09:17 if I'm hesitant, I'm likely to develop respiratory issues.

2:09:21 You know, if I am not digesting

2:09:24 and metabolizing the things that happen in my life

2:09:27 with accuracy and an opening an open

2:09:30 willingness that we've been speaking about here today,

2:09:32 I'm likely to end up with a digestive issue in my physiology.

2:09:36 If I am, you know, suppressing my my desire to love and be

2:09:41 unconditionally loving and to be loved and to love in some way.

2:09:47 if I've shut down or put barriers around myself, it's hand, you know,

2:09:51 there's just so much clinical evidence that shows us

2:09:53 you're going to end up with something showing up.

2:09:55 You could easily sh, you know,

2:09:58 see something show up in the physiology around the the heart system and so on.

2:10:04 So, we know this correlation.

2:10:06 We've known it for decades and it's so important that people connect those dots.

2:10:11 And what I know is that if we just ask in the body,

2:10:14 where could I build the circuitry to better allow

2:10:17 my consciousness to flow and for me to come to know

2:10:21 these parts of myself better than I ever have and embrace

2:10:25 and accept them in some way that I haven't before,

2:10:28 then I will have an effect on the chain reaction,

2:10:31 the train reaction um of how it's going to show up in my physiology.

2:10:36 And so by asking where in the body could I build the circuitry?

2:10:40 And if your mind goes somewhere,

2:10:42 don't be surprised if at some point when you start working

2:10:45 with that and anchor yourself in your body with these anchor

2:10:48 points and breathe up and down in the central channel

2:10:50 in the in between moments so that when you ask that question,

2:10:54 it takes you somewhere.

2:10:55 Don't be surprised if you sit there and breathe with that part

2:10:59 of you that you have been you've been directed toward.

2:11:02 If if a tear doesn't start to come down your face or if if

2:11:06 some respiratory reset doesn't happen because you're

2:11:12 synchronizing aspects of your physiology with aspects

2:11:16 of your consciousness again for a reset

2:11:20 and you're getting another chance to allow

2:11:22 that part of you to have a life to come into your life.

2:11:27 And when you do, you may feel that you fall into what may feel like a deep,

2:11:34 dark well for a minute.

2:11:36 Just fall.

2:11:37 Don't resist it.

2:11:38 Don't let your thinking mind kick in and try to understand what's going on.

2:11:42 Just know that, hey, you're here in a safe space.

2:11:44 There's nothing going to happen.

2:11:45 It's just you.

2:11:46 It's just energy.

2:11:47 But you will fall into what will feel like a void, a deep, dark well.

2:11:52 People talk about it all the time.

2:11:54 And if that's happening,

2:11:56 you're you're falling into the parts of you that you've not

2:11:59 allowed to develop because they were set aside for all these years.

2:12:04 So when you fall into them and you you start to welcome them back into the mix,

2:12:09 you're not they don't have a name.

2:12:11 They don't have a familiar face.

2:12:12 These parts of your consciousness, it looks like you don't know who you are.

2:12:15 You don't know what's going on.

2:12:17 But if you will let that be and you'll just drop into it with compassion.

2:12:21 Just like you know there was a moment

2:12:23 in my life when this started happening with me.

2:12:25 These openings were happening.

2:12:26 I didn't know what was going on and my life was changing rapidly.

2:12:29 A relationship ended.

2:12:30 I was going out and teaching instead of just being in my clinic all the time.

2:12:34 Flights were always canceled and I had to cancel patients Monday

2:12:37 morning because I couldn't get back to the clinic in time.

2:12:39 And um lost my my mother made her transition.

2:12:43 She was my best friend.

2:12:44 And it was just all this stuff like in a short period of time.

2:12:48 And I was headed to the clinic one day, turned back because I forgot something.

2:12:52 Had to go back, walked past my bed to get to my closet to get the thing,

2:12:56 fell onto my bed, just broke, you know,

2:13:00 and in that moment, I thought, you know, I'm having a breakdown.

2:13:04 But actually, I was breaking in.

2:13:07 And I was falling and falling and falling, and tears were just coming.

2:13:10 I was just like out of it, lost,

2:13:13 spinning and spinning, falling down some deep, dark well.

2:13:16 And and something happened in that moment where I

2:13:19 I let go for the first time in my life.

2:13:22 I didn't try to control and get myself together

2:13:25 so I could get to work and see those patients.

2:13:27 I just was like, I'm having it.

2:13:30 I just fell.

2:13:31 And I I just felt everything just falling away.

2:13:34 And I felt like if I lose it all, at least I'll have me.

2:13:41 I found a me that I had never known before.

2:13:44 So it was just a pinnacle transformative

2:13:46 moment where nothing was real except this connection.

2:13:51 Now my consciousness had landed on a part of me that was unconditional,

2:13:56 was unwavering, was timeless.

2:13:57 It was always going to be there.

2:13:58 And and I, you know, it it knew I knew it in some way,

2:14:02 but it wasn't an intellectual process.

2:14:04 It just had me and I was crying and crying

2:14:06 and all of a sudden I was laughing and laughing

2:14:10 and in the midst of that greatest pain was

2:14:12 the most magnificent joy I had ever experienced in the body.

2:14:16 This was after my first experience that I had shared

2:14:19 with you and you know maybe maybe 10 years later

2:14:22 but now I was having that experience in the body

2:14:26 and I just it didn't nothing mattered because this joy was here.

2:14:29 It was like, "Oh my god, I'm like free in the midst of all of this pain that was

2:14:34 happening in my life." So I know that when that is happening,

2:14:39 when transition transformation is happening with an individual,

2:14:43 it's going to come with a lot of unfamiliarity.

2:14:45 It's going to come with letting go of your educated mind.

2:14:48 And and you know, I was trained and you know,

2:14:50 as a doctor and a scientist and had to get all these results

2:14:53 and that part of me just the logical part of me just let go.

2:14:57 And there was such a freedom.

2:15:00 Not that you then throw logic out the window from here on out,

2:15:03 but it got to share the space with something greater than itself.

2:15:07 You know, we can't live in a logical world and pray for a miracle.

2:15:10 It doesn't make sense.

2:15:11 It doesn't make good logical sense to do that.

2:15:13 You know, we could open up and allow for what is beyond logic to play

2:15:18 a role in what we are gathering and organizing and the information that we are,

2:15:23 you know, choosing to live from.

2:15:25 If if that is where we find our stability,

2:15:28 we can increase our territory that way.

2:15:31 Amazing.

2:15:32 Amazing.

2:15:33 Thank you for sharing.

2:15:34 Yeah, I know those moments where you

2:15:38 surrender into the full acceptance of feelings,

2:15:40 your feelings, you know, which I think most of us probably, you know,

2:15:46 I definitely probably also perceive think like it's

2:15:50 it's this big catastrophic thing that's going to take

2:15:52 you over forever as opposed to minutes to an hour of fully being with what is.

2:16:00 [clears throat] Right.

2:16:01 And those minutes changed my life forever.

2:16:03 Wow.

2:16:04 So, you would say you the circumstances that led

2:16:08 up to you like fully breaking in as you said

2:16:12 into this experience within a couple of minutes you

2:16:16 would you say you stopped trying to hold it together.

2:16:19 Yep.

2:16:20 And it came together.

2:16:21 [laughter] It's funny how that works.

2:16:23 Yeah.

2:16:23 Yeah.

2:16:24 Right.

2:16:24 It's like oh there's a bigger system here trying to do

2:16:27 its thing and if I just let it it will.

2:16:30 Yeah.

2:16:30 And that bigger system I had had direct experience

2:16:34 with in the meditations that I shared with you.

2:16:36 I knew about it.

2:16:38 I lived it.

2:16:38 I was there.

2:16:40 And then I was walking in this world trying my best to figure it out.

2:16:44 And at the end of the day,

2:16:45 the only way to own it in this body was to let go, was to stop trying.

2:16:50 Do you think that we largely just

2:16:53 need those external triggers to really go there?

2:16:57 Cuz I think like if we live long enough,

2:17:01 we're going to have really challenging like dark nights or moments

2:17:05 where we where we're kind of forced to go there.

2:17:08 I think the invitation is that like while those may occur,

2:17:11 there's also possibility to like access

2:17:14 that without everything around you crumbling.

2:17:17 But I I feel like it's it's harder when you don't have

2:17:19 that forcing universal kind of arm wrestle where you're forced to go there.

2:17:24 You had no other option.

2:17:25 Right.

2:17:25 Right.

2:17:25 Right.

2:17:26 It settles us, you know, it stills us when,

2:17:29 you know, I was in a state of overwhelm.

2:17:30 I had so many things happening at the same time.

2:17:33 And I was very capable as a kid, broad shoulders,

2:17:35 I can do this, you know, that whole thing.

2:17:37 So that was my go-to always.

2:17:39 And and I it was it was the personality that I developed.

2:17:44 And then we lose sight of the fact that it developed and we

2:17:47 think that's who we are and who we've always been and all that is.

2:17:49 And it's not, but it's what we operate as if.

2:17:53 And so it had to crack because it it was going to limit me.

2:17:57 The very thing that I thought had gained the strength

2:17:59 that brought me here wasn't going to get me there.

2:18:01 Wasn't going to get me to the rest.

2:18:02 And so it had to dissolve.

2:18:04 And so the circumstances were collecting in intensity in proportion

2:18:10 to my stubbornness based upon the strength that I knew.

2:18:15 I knew what it had taken to get me through the life circumstances of abuse

2:18:19 and abandonment and the things that had happened in my childhood and growing up.

2:18:23 I knew what it took to get okay with that.

2:18:26 But it wasn't really okay.

2:18:27 It was survivorship.

2:18:29 It really wasn't open presence and acceptance and and piercing

2:18:33 the veil of this illusionary world that we are living in here.

2:18:37 It wasn't really victorious.

2:18:39 It was it was winning the battle, but it wasn't the ultimate destination.

2:18:45 It wasn't the fulfillment.

2:18:46 And so by by having all these things collect,

2:18:52 it was enough to implode and boom, you know, and it was free.

2:18:56 So your question is, you know, is that necessary?

2:18:58 No, just surrender voluntarily sooner.

2:19:01 just keeps in a state of surrender

2:19:02 and witness and maintain your strength and you

2:19:05 know and clarity and your willingness to move forward in life and to do good

2:19:09 and to and to be all that you can be and to offer up all

2:19:12 that you do know open and available

2:19:14 to everything else that's available for you to know

2:19:18 and when that comes together we don't have

2:19:20 to suffer to awaken but what I know is that if we suffer it could contribute

2:19:27 to our awakening so it can explain the suffering that's

2:19:30 and happening and if we could use it

2:19:32 to our advantage and we can by building circuits

2:19:35 and by being present inside the system then we

2:19:38 can translate that those circumstances in a non-suffering way sooner.

2:19:43 So, so I think that as we just become

2:19:47 conscientious people and we care and we allow ourselves

2:19:50 to come home and we anchor in this system

2:19:54 in the way that it's designed to be utilized,

2:19:56 we will automatically become conscientious and compassionate people

2:20:01 because that's the nature of our truest nature.

2:20:05 It's who we are.

2:20:05 It's what we're made of.

2:20:07 And so, we become more loving.

2:20:08 We become because we're less afraid.

2:20:10 The moment we stop fearing,

2:20:12 the next thing that's going to happen is we're going to start loving.

2:20:15 And so the moment something that we were afraid of is over,

2:20:18 you'll notice this in in, you know, life, everybody that's watching.

2:20:22 Um the moment that something you've been afraid of is over,

2:20:25 you feel so uplifted.

2:20:26 You just want to hug everybody.

2:20:28 It's all good, right?

2:20:29 Because you get past the fear and something else gets to emerge.

2:20:33 So what if we learn to just embrace the fear, not get past it.

2:20:36 What if we reinterpreted fear and we can start

2:20:40 with our physiology when you feel what you think is

2:20:43 fear in your body understand in that moment this could

2:20:47 be signaling something different than what I think it is.

2:20:50 It could be the activation of my true self,

2:20:52 thinking that this is a now moment that I could come out.

2:20:56 Yeah.

2:20:56 And instead of shutting it down and getting away from it,

2:20:58 you open, let it come on out.

2:21:01 Let's do this.

2:21:02 Let's have it.

2:21:04 It's It's interesting because I could hear probably a lot of people

2:21:07 that are listening to this conversation say like, "Oh, I I want that.

2:21:10 I want that level of breakthrough.

2:21:12 I want that moment of realization." In many ways,

2:21:16 it's the lack of the eye that wants

2:21:19 the experience where the experience becomes possible.

2:21:22 You know, the eye that wants the breakthrough,

2:21:24 the eye that wants the alignment is the barrier to the very thing.

2:21:27 And like your surrender you're talking to is

2:21:30 beyond the self you've been you've been right.

2:21:33 And so I I think of like how all

2:21:38 the incredible remissions that happen from the physical lens.

2:21:42 Uh you know there's been many cases with people that have

2:21:46 multiple personality disorder and one personality is allergic to oranges.

2:21:51 The other one is left-handed.

2:21:53 The other one has an accent.

2:21:55 This is all one person.

2:21:57 Yeah.

2:21:57 Having different fractured parts of their mind

2:22:00 that have correlated realities according to their personalities.

2:22:04 And you know, I've seen this even my sister recently.

2:22:08 She's got deep into meditation.

2:22:10 I'm so happy for her.

2:22:11 She's been suffering with eczema and allergies to nuts her whole life.

2:22:14 And that just completely went away after a few months of meditating.

2:22:17 That's so funny.

2:22:18 Like an hour or two a day.

2:22:19 And it's just it's so cool what becomes available

2:22:22 when you start to stop being in resistance, however subtle,

2:22:27 like we're so often living life on the surface of personality instead

2:22:32 of the gold mine of spirit that is available to us beneath that.

2:22:35 And to think that it may be as little as a few minutes of feeling something

2:22:42 fully to be able to access that and live

2:22:44 from that place is both hysterical and frustrating.

2:22:50 Yeah.

2:22:50 Right.

2:22:52 And it's so ironic.

2:22:52 It's all of the all.

2:22:53 All of the all.

2:22:54 In my clinic, uh, I was working with people that, uh,

2:22:58 I had a couple of patients early on, the first

2:23:00 couple of years that I was in practice that were,

2:23:03 uh, one was multiple personality and the other

2:23:06 one was actually considered to be schizophrenic.

2:23:08 And, you know, that one the the second one was brought in, you know,

2:23:12 with family members and and, you know,

2:23:14 just supported in terms of us working together.

2:23:17 And I was doing some hands-on work that uh

2:23:19 is bioenergetic work where we're rearranging sort of like

2:23:23 acupuncture but it's taking into account how did this energy

2:23:26 get distorted and it always goes back to consciousness.

2:23:28 There's a a distortion in the field that then shows up in the body.

2:23:32 You know that we can we can track these things

2:23:34 in the field before they even show up in the person's physical experience.

2:23:38 It you can measure that there's there's interference in the field

2:23:41 and then someone steps off the curb and breaks their ankle.

2:23:44 And so we can we can address the disturbance in the field

2:23:46 and preempt you know these things that are showing physically.

2:23:49 So it's fascinating when we start working with this invisible world.

2:23:53 Um so in working with balancing the energy flow

2:23:57 through these individuals um uh aa was her name.

2:24:01 She um she was she was um uh there were times that she would come in and she

2:24:08 would not know me at all and you know she was a different version of herself.

2:24:12 This one had diabetic symptoms and uh another version of her had none.

2:24:18 And the version that had none uh remembered me, knew me every time.

2:24:23 And so I could tell in an instant what we were

2:24:26 going to be working on as as she would come in.

2:24:28 And as these things integrated,

2:24:30 she became aware of the other, which she wasn't initially.

2:24:35 And in such, she began to work it out.

2:24:39 uh one interacting with the other um having conversations between the two.

2:24:43 And as such uh it was through meditation and deep breathing and me

2:24:49 routing the energy and just facilitating that process for her that she

2:24:53 was able to you know bring that together and wasn't plagued

2:24:57 by having no awareness of you know of the other version of herself.

2:25:02 And there were others as well,

2:25:03 but these two uh versions of herself were were the one are

2:25:07 the ones that that stick out in my mind uh many many years ago.

2:25:11 But it was just a a miraculous transformative

2:25:14 thing that she became highly functioning in the world,

2:25:16 able to have a job and and you know have

2:25:19 a life experience that she wasn't able to have before.

2:25:22 All because these these different compartments that we develop

2:25:26 as a survival strategy um are now no longer necessary.

2:25:30 And the and the but the the primary thing that was

2:25:33 happening there was a deep slow channeled breath that was uh

2:25:39 slowing her down so much that she could come present

2:25:43 to herself in a way that she had never been able to.

2:25:47 She had an abusive past and had just you know clamped down to to survive.

2:25:52 Wow.

2:25:53 Yeah.

2:25:53 Yeah, I think those cases where it becomes way more

2:25:56 like dense or obvious and the multiple personalities is like uh

2:26:01 is one end of the spectrum and then we can

2:26:03 like all relate to that in our own individual ways, right?

2:26:06 In a more subtle sense perhaps and different ways.

2:26:13 Um yeah, I I I'm curious.

2:26:14 So like if you if you had 60 seconds, this is a big question.

2:26:20 Take time if you need but if you have 60 seconds to whisper a message

2:26:24 into the hearts of humanity and everybody who was listening what would you say?

2:26:29 Ah so there is nothing broken there is nothing missing

2:26:35 there is nothing wrong you are here whole and complete

2:26:38 and you are on a project of discovering

2:26:42 that and you are constantly supported and guided through this process.

2:26:46 It is a direct through line right here that you are the unified field.

2:26:51 Come into physical form and you are here to pierce through the illusion

2:26:55 and experience yourself as the great deep joyful presence that you are.

2:27:00 You'll do so by embracing more than you reject and by accepting more than

2:27:05 what you've denied inside of yourself and to step forward in what is true.

2:27:12 It won't require courage.

2:27:13 It might feel like it in the beginning, but at the end of the day,

2:27:16 it's just the flow of this divine continuum pouring through into your life.

2:27:22 And let it do exactly what it is meant to do.

2:27:26 Let yourself have the life that you're meant to have.

2:27:30 I don't know if that was 60 seconds or not, but it was perfect what it was.

2:27:34 [laughter] If there was a mic that you were holding, I'd ask for you to drop it.

2:27:37 That was that was beautiful.

2:27:39 Um, yeah, we started with puppies and we ended with Bliss and we end in Bliss.

2:27:44 That's it.

2:27:44 I guess they're the same thing.

2:27:46 [laughter] Right.

2:27:48 [snorts] Um, yeah, we've been going for almost two and a half hours.

2:27:53 Wow.

2:27:53 Wow.

2:27:54 Just drop into a portal.

2:27:55 Yeah.

2:27:55 I feel like we could talk for days and and not get tired just because,

2:28:00 you know, there's a lot of different kind of conversations and I'm I feel

2:28:04 greatful to be able to have many

2:28:06 different types of conversations on this podcast.

2:28:09 Uh, but there's there's certain conversations that I feel like a little a little

2:28:13 or a lot more just energetic resonance with it and how deep we can go.

2:28:17 And uh, so thank you for being able to to dance with me in that realm.

2:28:22 Absolutely.

2:28:22 I'm thrilled.

2:28:23 you know I I'm around the world and lots of interviews and engagements and you

2:28:27 know all of that conferences etc and being with you in this space is

2:28:32 something that I was very much looking

2:28:33 forward to today because of my past experience

2:28:36 with you and thank you for who you are to allow this to be shared.

2:28:41 So, thank you.

2:28:42 It's my honor.

2:28:43 It's my honor as well.

2:28:44 And uh just last couple words,

2:28:48 people will leave we'll leave links down in the description

2:28:50 for where people can stay connected with you, your work.

2:28:53 I think you have a guided meditation as well.

2:28:56 Um so any words on just exciting offerings,

2:29:00 things that you have coming up and people can stay connected with you.

2:29:03 Well, loving the launching of this book.

2:29:05 This book, Anatomy of Awakening, is all about what we're talking about.

2:29:10 It's about how the how-tos, lots of practices inside of it.

2:29:13 Just bringing into consideration people from all different angles

2:29:17 and levels of experience and um and and states of study,

2:29:21 different studies that bring us together in conversations like this.

2:29:24 And keeping all that in mind, um you know,

2:29:27 that's that's what the book is presenting.

2:29:29 And I also, you know, have in-person courses and uh or classes and experiences.

2:29:34 is I take people on journey awake excursions to sacred sites around the world

2:29:38 to to Egypt and to India and to sacred France with the Mary

2:29:42 Magdalene tour and all kinds of fun stuff like that just playing with hey

2:29:45 these truths have been here forever and boy did we forget and so

2:29:48 this is how we remember doing all these kinds of things lots

2:29:51 of online courses etc I live for the offering of information that is going

2:29:56 to help humanity get it together

2:29:58 and have the beautiful life experience that we're

2:30:00 intended to be having on this planet

2:30:02 regardless of our external circumstances says,

2:30:04 "We're here to bring it and to transform what we see." Well said.

2:30:10 Well, round two complete.

2:30:12 Thank you.

2:30:14 Uh yeah, appreciate you.

2:30:15 Uh I'm excited to go hang out with the pups for a little bit.

2:30:18 Okay, [laughter] let's go do that.

2:30:19 And um yeah, just congrats on everything.

2:30:21 I know it's no small endeavor to write a book where you pour yourself into it.

2:30:26 It takes a lot of time and energy and commitment and devotion.

2:30:29 Um so congratulations on that and uh all your offerings in the world.

2:30:33 Thanks much.
