What they're studying at Not Forgotten 2024 Project For Awesome Update

0:03 on the channel here I like to give an update into not forgotten which is

0:07 the orphanage I work with in Peru my family has loved not forgotten

0:11 for many years and we've been working with Tyler and all the people that work

0:14 on not forgotten there are two properties owned by not forgotten down in Peru

0:18 the first one is Las Lomas the hills that's where the kids grow up

0:22 in a safe home environment they have a mother and father and they have brothers

0:26 and they play and there's playground equipment

0:28 there's a pond there's CL classroom facilities it's

0:31 a great place to grow up free from the pressures of the city then

0:35 when they reach adolescence they move to alpor car which is in the city

0:39 that's a place where they can start to integrate into society and start figuring

0:43 out what they want to do and so not forgotten has this staged approach

0:47 and today I want to give you a pretty interesting update Tyler went down

0:50 and he talked to some of the boys about what they want to do when

0:54 they grow up like what are their dreams their goals their aspirations and I'm

0:58 excited to let you hear from the their own mouth what they want to do,

1:01 now I don't know about you but if somebody ask me

1:03 about my plans for the future I get nervous and so

1:06 you might detect a little nervousness on the boys but I

1:08 think that's okay that's they're talking about big big goals and it's

1:12 beautiful to me because it's very different from where they started

1:15 the journey from not forgotten and so you're going to get

1:18 to see what they want to do and I hope you

1:32 Aquaculture As you can see this is a center

1:38 for fish reproduction And this is also where we reproduce fish

1:41 And this is also where we reproduce fish To put

1:47 in fish ponds These are the classrooms where we study.

1:52 And we do research.

1:55 And we take tests.

1:58 And we do laboratory tests of different types of species.

2:04 For example, for me since I study aquaculture, we do tests about fish.

6:09 to achieve these whether it's go to a university or if

6:12 it's you know I'm going to try to take this test

6:15 so that I can study biology or whatever it is the goal

6:17 is simple to break the cycle of Abandonment and do it

6:20 with Excellence we want these kids to be educated to realize

6:23 their goals and it's happening and I'm so excited that you
