0:29 And so, it starts out like, you know, it kind of starts out tame.

0:35 We're trying to build our place.

0:36 We we farm the wheat.

0:37 We we grind it in the middle.

0:39 We make some bread.

0:39 We keep our people alive.

0:40 We build houses, you know, that kind of a thing.

0:43 But things start to kind of fall down pretty quick.

0:45 Um I played the initiate mode, which is very very simple.

0:49 You just you kind of play around the game, and it's very calm.

0:51 Um the dev tells me that the game's meant to be

0:54 played on mastermind mode where every system presses at once.

0:58 Hunger shows no mercy.

0:59 Always requires planning.

1:00 It's going to be crazy.

1:01 It's going to be tense.

1:02 It's going to be like um It's going to be anxious inducing.

1:48 It takes flour, water, wood, and timing.

1:50 It makes bread.

1:51 We know what a bakery does.

1:53 Bread's made from there.

1:54 Bread begins with wheat.

1:55 Let's go get some wheat.

1:56 So, we can hit shift and fast move ourselves over here if we want.

2:01 You can kind of hear it.

2:03 And the music will kick in here.

2:10 So, we need someone to work this.

2:11 So, our one guy or one of our two guys is going to go here and work the wheat.

2:17 of uh every tick is going to bring in one wheat.

2:23 And so, I mean, right now at the start of this, it seems very simple,

2:27 like we've done before.

2:29 Um we can go all the way to the right.

2:31 That's a defensive tower on this outside over there, which will come in.

2:34 We got a silo here to store all of our stuff.

2:36 We got a building uh over this way, which is going to be our keep hut.

2:40 We'll talk about it in a second.

2:41 It's going to be like fixing things up.

2:42 We got a We got a hunter's trap we can set up over this way.

2:45 Um and we got like a quarry on the other side.

2:47 And so, this is This is our whole little village with our two people in it.

2:52 So, we're trying to manage it.

2:54 The wheat is ready to go.

2:56 And so, once the wheat is ready to go,

2:57 we can go over here to the mill and we can mill it.

3:01 So, the every station needs workers to work it, obviously.

3:04 And with every worker there, we get a flour per tick.

3:06 And the mill takes stone no stoning and no flour.

3:11 You get no Or sorry, no stone, no wheat, no flour.

3:14 So, you have to have stones, wheat to make flour.

3:18 Got it.

3:20 Um there is our quarry, which will provide the stone that we will need shortly.

3:26 Uh there are things that will There's my There's my meister's hall up there,

3:30 which will add things in eventually once we get it built up.

3:33 It's going to take a little while to get there.

3:34 Cuz to build this thing is going to take us 100 bread.

3:37 We don't have 100 bread.

3:39 So, the grind is done.

3:39 Time to make the first bread of the realm.

3:44 And we're going to go and pop him over here into the bakery.

3:49 Pop him in there and he's going to bake until he cannot stand to bake anymore.

4:54 There is like a legacy mode and so however

4:56 you do in this mode, we're going to die.

4:58 So however we do in this mode will shape,

5:01 I suppose, the way the game the next game.

5:05 And so each game is a little different, you know, that kind of thing.

5:07 As we gain some food and some wood, we can go build a house.

5:10 We will do that.

5:11 So let's build a house.

5:13 Build a house in this place.

5:14 We can get more more people in in in uh in this lovely rainy town.

5:19 Uh the defense tower up here, we cannot build this thing yet,

5:21 but once we get the resources, we can build it to keep the raiders out.

5:25 The silo will stash all of our stuff and gives us a little bucks.

6:47 We want to make sure we keep like food going cuz if you run out of food,

7:03 This is a So, it kind of works like in phases,

7:05 so at least the easy mode worked in phases

7:08 to where like it's you're moving people around,

7:10 you're sort of micro-managing your people very much.

7:13 Uh, but eventually you get enough houses put in, enough tents, and um,

7:19 and then you can kind of lay relax a bit because

7:24 you can get people working working in every in every spot.

7:27 But, I'm assuming on this crazy mode we're not going

7:29 to have that luxury so much of relaxing, I mean.

7:33 So, we got people on We do have someone on Oh, no, we don't.

7:35 Someone on the wheat field.

7:38 We've got someone in the mill.

7:40 Mill needs things.

7:41 We need someone in in the water.

7:43 on the well.

7:44 So, once I get more people in here, I will get someone on the well.

7:48 Um house costs three bread, three wood, and two rocks.

7:52 It'd be nice to have cuz that will hold three people.

7:59 Um I ain't make making any bread at the moment.

12:22 as I unlocked enough to get to reveal piece, sadly.

12:26 And so, you unlock these things,

12:27 and it's going to like adds puzzle pieces and changes things in in the game.

12:32 Um I didn't live long enough to actually do that.

12:36 and we'll we'll try out the the more tame mode.

12:38 Not the tame mode, but the more tame mode.

12:43 I think yeah, so I think with the hard difficulty,

12:44 I think you got to stick with two people at the start.

12:48 On the easy mode, I just built a bunch of houses, got a few people in there,

12:51 and um I started basically started with that, just bringing people in.

12:56 That's so that I can have one person working the wheat,

12:58 one person working, you know,

12:59 kind of like you do um basically any of these kinds of kinds of games.

13:04 You go in there, and you get the, you know, get one person at each job,

13:07 so that they can And then I was I was stable.

13:11 In fact, I was so stable, I couldn't die.

13:13 I guess I could have taken up my run off everything,

13:15 but I was so stable that I was just kind of letting

13:16 it run just to see what happened if I ended the game,

13:18 but it didn't die cuz everything was stable.
