My Favorite Tech + Everyday Favs - April 2026

0:06 In this series, what I like to do with y'all is

0:09 share all of my favorite tech and non- tech things like music,

0:13 TV shows, bags, whatever I have been enjoying.

0:18 Now, everything that we're talking about is going to be

0:21 linked down below in the description box for you,

0:23 as well as all of the past episodes.

0:25 And with that said, I think we're good

0:28 to go now into the very first item, y'all.

0:33 So, this right here is a charger.

0:35 It's from Charge and it is 65 watts,

0:39 which means it can charge most computers up.

0:42 MacBook Pros, it might charge them up a little bit slower,

0:45 but all in all, most computers this will be able to power.

0:49 So, it has three ports that you can choose from up here to use.

0:53 And it even labels which one has the best, you know, output for your computer.

0:59 But the star of the show has to be the screen here, y'all.

1:02 It is a LED screen that shows the output,

1:05 like how much power is being used to charge your device.

1:10 So ultimately, everything that we use requires a certain amount of power.

1:15 And this is basically showing you if it's

1:18 reaching that amount of power that your device requires.

1:22 So, I just love this honestly cuz it's a play on the old Mac and the screen is

1:27 just such a nice touch and how it has

1:29 this kind of like rainy LED display as well.

1:32 So, yeah, highly recommend this if if nothing more for aesthetics.

1:36 Okay, this next item here comes from UAG and they actually have two

1:41 different options of this and it's basically a MagSafe stand for your phone.

1:46 If you caught my last life lately video,

1:48 then you probably saw me reference this because this is

1:52 the new go-to accessory that I just have to keep on me.

1:56 And as you can see there, it attaches via Mag Safe.

1:59 So, this will work on my iPhone.

2:01 And then I have Mag Safe cases on my S26 Ultra, so it'll work on that as well.

2:06 It's just so handy when I need to prop my phone up.

2:09 I find it useful when I have my phone on the table.

2:12 I even found it handy when I was filming recently.

2:15 So, it served as like a little grip

2:17 to better hold my phone as I was walking around.

2:20 I also like to use it when I don't feel like holding my phone.

2:23 So, I'll pull this out like this and pop

2:26 my hand in and I'll just hold my phone like this.

2:29 So, this is really handy, especially with, you know,

2:32 the issues I've been having with one of my hands.

2:34 So, this helps reduce some of that time

2:37 that I would normally be holding my phone.

2:39 Now, this here is an item that I did not

2:42 even foresee myself like carrying that much to talk about,

2:46 but yet here we are cuz it's actually pretty nice.

2:50 And it is this AirPods Pro case.

2:54 So, this particular one I got off of Amazon.

2:57 It clips onto my bag.

2:59 I love having that so that if I want

3:01 even quicker access to this is easier to find.

3:04 The case also stays on the AirPods.

3:06 I know sometimes with cases I've used, they will fall off of the AirPods.

3:11 This one stays on.

3:13 And not only does it stay on, it stays closed because you

3:16 have to push this button here on the front to even open it,

3:20 which is nice because it ensures the AirPods also stay inside cuz again,

3:26 sometimes I would find that my AirPods would even fall

3:29 out of the case cuz the case pops open by accident.

3:32 So, this keeps everything nice and secure and inside.

3:37 I also like that you can push this button here to open up the case

3:40 a bit so that you can get to the USBC port a bit better.

3:43 That way, if the case is in the way,

3:45 you can open it up a bit to get in there and charge.

3:48 So, yeah, just overall a solid solid case, man, that I cannot recommend enough.

3:54 Now, my next favorite item this month definitely

3:58 has to go to this DJI receiver here.

4:01 So, I use a lot of DJI mics and this one lets

4:05 me connect it to my phone a lot easier and more seamless.

4:11 So, example, I use my DJI Mic Mini to record when I'm out on the go.

4:16 And if I want better audio on my phone,

4:19 this is going to let me just plug this in, turn

4:22 it on, turn on my Lav, and instantly pair.

4:26 So, it's a lot more straightforward than it has been for me because prior

4:31 to this, I've been having to use the receiver to the mic that I'm using.

4:36 And then on top of that, I have this big

4:38 connector piece now connected to the bottom of my phone.

4:42 So, this gives me a smoother process and a slimmer, you know, build to use.

4:49 And all in all, it's just been really nice to kind

4:51 of just have this, throw it in my bag right here,

4:54 and know that I always have a receiver that is

4:57 ready to go for my phone and my DJI mics.

5:01 So, lately, I've had that in here,

5:02 and then I just clip my little DJI Mic Mini and I'm ready to go.

5:08 Like, that's been the setup when I'm out

5:10 and it's it's been working very very well for me.

5:13 This next item here is one that surprised me because I've had

5:18 this for a while and it is a field pouch by Peak Design,

5:23 but I've been cycling out of like little accessory pouches

5:27 and one day this one was just like at hands reach.

5:31 I grabbed it, used it, and I just found myself going to it by default now.

5:37 Like I haven't taken my things out and placed them in another one.

5:41 Like I really enjoy using this one.

5:44 I find that I remember where things are and it's

5:48 less confusion in terms of where I have placed things.

5:53 Everything has a purpose and I I don't over

5:55 complicate things in my eyes at least, you know.

5:58 So the first pocket here to the left, that is where I keep my batteries.

6:02 It's also where I keep my DJI Mic Mini.

6:06 It's attached there just like a clip on so that I

6:10 can always see it and grab it when I need it.

6:12 The pocket behind it, I have my DJI mic receiver that we just talked about.

6:17 And then to the right of those things, I have my ND filter.

6:21 So these pockets, they are felt pockets, so they shouldn't scratch anything.

6:26 And I like putting my ND filters in there

6:28 cuz I often times forget the case, misplace the case.

6:32 So this keeps it in there nice and protected.

6:35 and you know prevents accidental scratches.

6:38 Right behind that is where I have my power adapter.

6:42 So currently in there I have this one from Nomad.

6:47 It is 100 watts.

6:49 So this is definitely more than enough to charge up my computer,

6:54 my phone, pretty much whatever I have on me.

6:57 It has two USBC ports as well, so I can charge up two devices at once.

7:02 But outside of those items,

7:04 in here inside of the front pocket is where I have my Nomad charge cable thing.

7:09 It's like a little short USBC to USBC cable.

7:14 It, you know, sticks together via magnets and I can, you know,

7:18 attach it to my keychain if I wanted like my AirPods case, you know.

7:22 But, uh, yeah, I just keep that in here in case I need a cable.

7:26 And my Apple Pencil lives in there as well.

7:28 But all in all, bottom line, this has been so nice to put my accessories in.

7:35 All right.

7:35 Now, these right here are the gorgeous Nothing headphones.

7:40 A so I have talked about their headphones

7:43 in the past and I went to their event last year.

7:47 I I love, you know, the designs that they come out with, especially

7:51 this one with this like soft bubblegum almost muted kind of pink.

7:57 But controls are familiar.

7:58 You know, you got them along the right side, which is also labeled very nicely.

8:03 As you can see there on the inside, it says left, right.

8:06 I like that touch with the font.

8:08 But, um, it comes with this travel bag,

8:12 which kind of has this like plasticky feel, but it's going to protect it.

8:16 Now, these do have active noise cancellation,

8:18 so you can mute out your background.

8:21 And the sound quality is fairly good, as well as the comfort,

8:24 cuz I know with this little square shape,

8:28 sometimes it can be a little different in terms

8:31 of how you like maneuver it around your ear.

8:35 But with the circular cups, it definitely will still seal off sound.

8:39 But battery life though, I want to say this has 100 hours.

8:42 I don't know if we going to throw it on screen.

8:44 whatever the battery life is.

8:46 That way we have a an accurate number there.

8:49 But so far though, I am really enjoying these.

8:52 Okay, now this one here is a gift that I have from WhatsApp.

8:58 So WhatsApp and I are going to be working together a lot throughout the year.

9:03 So you'll see more collaboration content with them.

9:06 But uh they sent a little package out of some

9:09 items that um I'm excited to check out with y'all.

9:12 So, let's get into the bag and see what we got.

9:16 So, first we have a WhatsApp notebook.

9:19 Love that cuz I am definitely uh a journaler

9:25 and I love to just write and take notes.

9:27 So, and these are nice props as well for videos.

9:34 And then, ooh, we have the Gen 2 Ray-B band Metas.

9:41 And we definitely got to dive into these.

9:53 Ooh, the DJI Mic 3.

10:01 and it's crazy cuz I've been wanting the three.

10:05 Like I'm like I can't I just couldn't

10:07 justify it because I had just bought the mini.

10:09 But hey, this worked out.

10:11 So now I have the DJI Mic 3 as well.

10:15 Much appreciated.

10:17 And uh the new Bose Quiet Comfort headphones in this beautiful green.

10:23 We going to dive into these packages, y'all.

10:25 Cuz these is these are nice.

10:28 But uh let's see what else.

10:30 And then this uh PopSocket thing.

10:33 So this is a like sticker background here.

10:36 So if I pull that off, it would stick here.

10:38 and then it could suction onto things.

10:46 Now, another gift that we got in also is from LEGO.

10:50 So, they sent out the Lego Smart Brick set.

10:54 This is something that I worked with the LEGO group on at CES earlier this year.

10:58 So, I'll link, you know, that stuff below.

11:00 But ultimately, this here is the smart brick set

11:05 that I covered at the time that they had announced.

11:08 And I'm excited cuz now I have one here that I can try out and play with.

11:14 And I'm just excited to see like my niec's reaction to this as well.

11:18 But let me tell you what it does.

11:19 What you have are your Lego bricks that attach to a smart brick

11:23 to unlock new features like the ability for certain Lego sets to light up.

11:30 They can make sounds.

11:32 There even games that are built into these LEGO smart bricks.

11:36 So, it can do a lot in one setting and ultimately unleash

11:41 like a new level of play or a new experience of play.

11:44 So, yeah, thank you LEGO Group for sending this out.

11:48 So, I appreciate it.

11:50 Another thing that I have been enjoying this month

11:53 are these little dots that are, you know,

11:57 technically made for the visually impaired,

11:59 but I find it very helpful in finding

12:03 buttons without looking at them on my camera.

12:06 So, I have one of these stickers on the record button on my camera,

12:11 and it just makes it so much easier to find

12:14 and just distinguish amongst the other buttons in that area

12:18 because I can feel that it's raised and it just

12:22 makes it better for finding the record button for me.

12:26 Right now, that's the main thing it's been serving

12:29 the purpose for, but it has been so helpful.

12:31 I felt the need to share.

12:32 So, I don't know.

12:33 Maybe y'all have other areas in your life that it could be helpful for, too.

12:38 Now, this next item actually comes from Grand 28.

12:44 Oh my god, y'all.

12:45 I love them.

12:47 They're a brand aesthetic.

12:49 Oh my gosh, stunning.

12:51 And I'm just so excited to have some of their products up here

12:56 to feature because I have been wanting to work with them for so long.

13:01 and I've been a lover of their bags.

13:03 So, the shirt that I actually have on comes

13:06 from their apparel line that they have in collaboration with Augusta.

13:12 So, this is a sweater shirt that they have.

13:15 It is a bit oversized and it is a bit a little

13:18 bit larger than I anticipated for it to be on me.

13:22 So, what I have is a medium.

13:23 I think I could have definitely went for a small, but um I still think,

13:27 you know, we can get away with it for the most part.

13:30 On the back is where you have your graphic,

13:31 but on the front it's pretty much plain.

13:34 But qualitywise, it feels so good.

13:37 Especially as we're teetering into, you know,

13:39 the warmer days with a little bit of the summer

13:42 days mixed in, at least where I am at, you know.

13:45 So, something like this is perfect for those days of transition.

13:49 But this is not the only thing I got from them, y'all.

13:53 I got a Grand 281 191 sling.

13:58 This is a bag from them that I have seen and just admired.

14:02 I thought it looked so good.

14:03 I love a good like unisex bag that you can throw your laptop

14:07 in as well as your camera and still keep like a very slim profile.

14:12 And this one gets that.

14:14 Like it only gets heavy because I make it heavy, you know?

14:17 But I just love the leather.

14:19 It's very soft, very quality.

14:22 The leather strap here has some metal hardware on it.

14:26 And you have these buckles to tighten the strap on your arm.

14:31 I wear this over my shoulder across

14:32 my body just however it's convenient in that moment.

14:36 Oh, I love this thing.

14:37 It has a padded pocket for my laptop.

14:40 I even have uh a nice thick area for my camera.

14:45 So, I did take my Sony A7C Mark II

14:48 and my DJI Action 6 with me and I was good, y'all.

14:53 And then along the side are two side pockets on the inside.

14:56 So, I put my phone there and like my wallet.

14:58 But the one thing that is not

15:00 on this that I wouldn't mind is an exterior pocket.

15:04 But outside of that, I'm okay without it.

15:06 You know, all in all, this gives me what I really want,

15:09 which is a nice minimal way to carry my laptop and still

15:13 have space for my camera and a camera like my Sony.

15:17 Cuz sometimes with these slings and these cross bodies,

15:20 they could fit it, but it's a tight fit.

15:22 Like, it's very restricted.

15:24 So, this right here is not that.

15:27 And um yeah, I love it.

15:30 Now, TV shows and movies.

15:33 This is a category that surprisingly this month I do not have an update for.

15:37 I have not watched much TV uh as of late.

15:42 So, anything that I have tried to tune in, I I just haven't gotten much into.

15:48 I will say though, I am excited to see uh this new Vivicum Fox movie.

15:53 Uh, I think it's called Is God Is or God Is something like that.

15:58 Don't give me the line, but I'mma throw it on screen.

16:01 This is a movie that's hitting theaters next month.

16:04 But oh my god, it just looks good.

16:06 So, ultimately about a mother uh that wants revenge on her children's

16:12 father who burned her and one of her children on purpose, you know.

16:19 So, she wants revenge before she passes on and she

16:24 puts her daughters who are twins onto the job.

16:28 But, uh, yeah, plot looks good.

16:30 It looks different, uh,

16:32 than what we are typically used to seeing in these movies.

16:35 So, I'm just I'm excited to check it out.

16:39 You know, we got to talk about music.

16:41 So, for my playlist this month,

16:44 I have uh a few a few little a little vibes rolling in this one.

16:49 Uh it might kind of jump between places from instrumentals to non-instrumentals,
