How to Edit Youtube Shorts That Print $$$
Ollex
0:00 This YouTube short took me five minutes to edit and made me over $4500.
0:06 And so did this one and this one.
0:08 If your YouTube shorts aren't making any money, it's probably not your idea.
0:13 And it's also not the algorithm.
0:15 It's the way you're editing your shorts.
0:17 This is where most people get stuck with their YouTube shorts.
0:20 They post every day, test niches, chase trends from other channels,
0:25 and still never get monetized or make any money.
0:28 And it's all because your edits don't trigger retention.
0:31 The video dies even before it has a chance to pay you,
0:34 which means you can do everything else right and still never
0:37 break out of 30,000 view jail and therefore never get monetized.
0:40 And that's why editing matters so much.
0:43 So, in this video, I'm going to run you through
0:45 the three most popular and profitable editing styles with YouTube Shorts.
0:50 Starting off with streamer clipping.
0:52 It is actually the niche that I do on this channel
0:55 and I'm going to show you guys how I edit streamer clipping videos.
0:58 So, the first thing you're going to want to do is go on YouTube.
1:01 And the streamer I clip from is Dr.
1:03 Donut.
1:04 You're just going to want to look up Dr.
1:06 Donut.
1:07 And boom, you have his channel right here.
1:10 Next thing you're going to want to do is go to the latest
1:13 stream and then you're going to want to find a moment to clip.
1:17 What I usually do is clip like a bunch of moments
1:20 so I have a lot of clips to choose from.
1:22 And a lot of people ask, "Oh,
1:23 how do I actually get these clips?" It's actually very simple.
1:26 All you're going to want to do is get a OBS.
1:28 Obviously, mine looks different,
1:29 but you should just have one screen on the side like this.
1:32 After you have it recording, you're just going to want to full screen it.
1:36 Make sure you're at 1080p.
1:37 And then you're going to want to record.
1:39 And here's what I usually look for in clips.
1:41 I usually just skip over to where he's reacting to content and stuff.
1:46 And then I just clip it from those videos.
1:48 And all my most recent clips that I've
1:50 been posting is just him reacting to content.
1:52 And I've been posting on this channel about 10 times a day.
1:56 And yes, I know it's absurd to post that much.
1:58 But when you're in streamer clipping,
2:00 you actually have so much resources to pick from.
2:02 So you're actually allowed to post this much.
2:05 And this is very good because you can see a lot
2:08 of these videos only end up getting like 10, 20, 30,000 views.
2:12 But there are some outliers that actually get a lot.
2:14 So look, this one has 58,000.
2:17 This one has 118,000.
2:19 This one has 200,000.
2:20 This one also has 200,000.
2:22 There's one with 400,000.
2:24 One with 2.6 million.
2:25 So you can see when you're posting high volume,
2:28 like a lot of them, they won't blow up.
2:30 That's why you got to post a lot so that some of them will actually blow up.
2:33 And now I'm going to show you guys what to do after you screen record your clip.
2:36 All right, guys.
2:37 So, after you import your clip from your clips
2:40 that you screen recorded into Cap Cut,
2:43 the first thing you're going to want to do is click vertical.
2:46 You're going to click on this layout and do vertical.
2:48 So, then it'll be easier to edit because your clip is on the side
2:51 here and you'll have more space on the timeline and everything else.
2:55 Then, next thing you're going to want to do
2:57 is click on the ratio and do 9 by 16.
3:00 Then go ahead and make this volume louder
3:04 on your clip so that you can actually hear it.
3:07 Do it until it's like spiking up to the red.
3:12 So for me, that's about 6 dB.
3:15 So I'm going to go to the audio and just make it around 6.5.
3:20 There we go.
3:21 That should be good.
3:21 You want it to be a little bit spiking on the red.
3:24 Just like that.
3:26 After you do that, you're going to want
3:27 to duplicate your clip by doing copy and paste.
3:30 You can just do CTRLC, CTRLV.
3:33 That'll do a copy paste.
3:35 Then you're going to want to mute the top clip.
3:37 Right.
3:37 Then after that, go to the bottom clip and zoom in.
3:40 You're going to want to zoom in around 250 and then drag it down.
3:45 You can actually do a bit less.
3:47 I'm going to do around 240.
3:52 So then there will be space on the top for the webcam around around like this.
3:56 You can actually make it even smaller.
3:57 I'll do 220.
3:59 I think that should be good.
4:01 Once you have that done,
4:02 click on the top one and you're going to want to add a mask around his face cam.
4:08 So I just go like this.
4:11 You can zoom in a little just so you can see what's going on.
4:19 Just go like that.
4:21 And boom.
4:22 Now you're around his face cam.
4:24 Then you can just make it bigger.
4:27 Um, this is a low quality clip because I didn't record in a high resolution.
4:31 So, make sure when you guys are recording your screen recording,
4:34 it's actually a good resolution.
4:36 I just did it fast for the example.
4:39 But, we're just going to make it a little bigger.
4:41 And then that should be good.
4:44 Something like this.
4:45 Okay.
4:46 So once you have your facecam and you have the game play,
4:50 next thing you're going to do is add a title on top of the clip.
4:54 We're going to go ahead and make the title say something like Dr.
4:59 Donut reacts to dreams um mace clutch or something like that.
5:07 Just make it something that's very broad and mass appealing.
5:11 Let's say not a lot of people know your streamer.
5:13 Let's say you do a niche stream or something.
5:15 So I would say Dr.
5:16 donut is pretty niche.
5:17 What you can do instead is say like Dream's craziest mace clutch.
5:20 You can just do that so that you don't have to say Dr.
5:23 Donut because a lot of people don't know who Dr.
5:24 Donut is.
5:25 But since my audience is already pretty good and they already know who Dr.
5:29 Donut is, I'll just leave it like that.
5:31 Then I'm going to put the text up here.
5:33 Change the font to something good.
5:35 I like TT4s.
5:36 That one's pretty good.
5:37 And then we're going to add some stroke.
5:39 All right.
5:39 So, next thing we're going to do after we change the font to um the bold,
5:44 we're going to go down and make the stroke thicker for the whole text.
5:48 Just like that.
5:49 Then I'm going to go ahead and highlight Dr.
5:52 Donut.
5:52 And then I'll make the color of that text
5:54 blue just because that's like his theme color.
5:57 Then we're going to go to Dream, highlight Dream,
6:00 and then make it like a lime green because that's his channel color.
6:04 And then for mace clutch,
6:06 we'll do like red for clutch just to make it pop out more.
6:12 There we go.
6:13 So now we have a cool text.
6:16 And then next thing we're going to want to do is
6:18 just split up the clip just to make sure it's actually good.
6:21 But let's first watch it just to make sure the clip is good.
6:24 Okay.
6:24 So after that happens, there's like a lot of dead space.
6:26 I'm going to cut this right here and then I'll do it until Dr.
6:30 Donna says something right here.
6:32 You guys know Yeah.
6:33 I'll cut till where he actually starts talking.
6:37 Um, around like that.
6:40 Oops.
6:41 Let me fix that.
6:43 There we go.
6:46 You guys know if he missed that, he would have just been dead.
6:49 And then you can just end the video right there.
6:52 And that's pretty much it.
6:53 I just make like 10 clips like this a day.
6:56 We upload it to the channel and then boom.
6:59 like a lot of them don't go viral,
7:01 but that's why in this niche, you got to have a lot of volume.
7:04 It takes really fast to make these type of clips,
7:07 especially once you get into the flow of it.
7:10 So, that's why streamer clipping is good.
7:12 It looks really easy and that's why most people mess it up.
7:15 You want to first do a lot of them so you actually get good at doing the clips.
7:20 The biggest mistake people make is clipping big streamers
7:22 that don't really have anything unique going for them.
7:25 Therefore, they get no views and then
7:27 they wonder why nothing happens with their videos.
7:29 So, if you're clipping the wrong streamer or just the wrong moments,
7:32 you're basically just posting for free at that point.
7:34 The algorithm doesn't really care how consistent you are at the end of the day.
7:38 It really cares if people stay and watch your video.
7:40 One bad clipping style can lock you into a low view jail for a very long time,
7:45 meaning your channel will never get monetized
7:47 and will never break that 30,000 view jail.
7:50 So, every clip you post without good structure isn't practice.
7:53 It's you training the algorithm to ignore your channel.
7:56 So, this is how you make sure you do it the right way.
7:58 You find a good and unique streamer.
8:00 You start clipping, make sure you're doing high volume,
8:03 and then you start earning.
8:05 It's that simple.
8:06 All right, guys.
8:06 So, the next editing style we're going to talk about is AI commentary.
8:11 And it's honestly really simple.
8:12 First thing you got to do is find your niche.
8:14 You can either do general AI commentary or you can subniche down
8:18 to a different niche like soccer or basketball or pranks or anything like that.
8:22 Then after you find your clips, you're just going to want to edit them,
8:26 make a script, add a voice over, and that's literally it.
8:28 One thing with AI commentary is that you need
8:31 to be extremely good at script writing to make this work.
8:33 Because believe it or not,
8:35 it's the script that actually keeps people engaged to watch the video.
8:38 So they actually watch your entire YouTube short
8:41 and that's why you get paid from YouTube.
8:43 By the way, if any inner circle members are watching this, hit
8:45 me up and we will write our next AI commentary script together.
8:49 And if you're thinking about joining the inner circle,
8:52 this is something I will do with you if you want.
8:54 I will help you write scripts or sometimes for beginners,
8:57 I write the scripts for them.
8:58 But yeah, overall, just make sure you have
9:00 a good script and your video will do very well.
9:02 So, let me show you guys how to make AI commentary videos.
9:06 So, step one is actually finding the clip.
9:08 My go-to place is Tik Tok.
9:10 All right, once you're on Tik Tok,
9:12 a lot of people what they do is they scroll endlessly to find a video,
9:15 but there's actually a lot easier way of doing this.
9:17 Just go to the explore tab and you'll have a bunch of videos to choose from.
9:21 All right, guys.
9:21 So, after like literally 30 seconds of searching,
9:24 I found this video of this kid blowing into these balloons and he
9:28 puts balls in them and then it turns into like a slingshot.
9:32 And I thought this video was pretty interesting
9:33 and we can make a video about it.
9:35 And plus, it's a perfect link.
9:36 It's around 20 seconds.
9:38 So, what we're going to do, we're going to copy the link for it.
9:40 Then, we're going to go over to this Tik Tok downloader.
9:44 You're going to paste your link and then you're going to download.
9:47 Make sure you save it in HD and then your video will be done.
9:51 It's right here.
9:52 It's downloaded.
9:53 Next thing what we're going to do is actually make a script for it.
9:56 So for the hook, this is the most important part.
9:58 We're going to do something that's absurd.
9:59 So we can do this is the most dangerous um weapon.
10:07 And then we can do like some kind of contradiction.
10:10 So when you're contradicting, you're going to do something like dangerous.
10:13 But then we're going to say, but it's really safe.
10:15 So what we can do, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
10:25 There we go.
10:26 And boom.
10:27 That's the hook, right?
10:28 So that's the oneliner that will get people to stay on the video.
10:31 Next thing what we're gonna do is be like this kid
10:36 took a stick with balloons um on it and started blowing.
10:47 Okay.
10:48 And we can say he blew on all of them and put metal balls into each balloon.
11:01 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was able
11:11 to stretch the balloons and make the balls fly balls fly out,
11:19 [snorts] breaking the balloon.
11:23 And boom, we have our script.
11:25 You can take a bit longer, but this is just an example.
11:28 Um, usually you're going to want to make it a bit longer just by yapping.
11:32 You can literally say like, "This is the most dangerous weapon.
11:34 It's made out of harmless balloons, right?" And then you would say like,
11:37 "This kid took a stick with a balloon
11:39 and started blowing into them." And you can be like,
11:41 "And why he did this is very unexpected.
11:43 He blew all of them." Yeah, we can do that.
11:46 And why And why he did this is very unexpected.
11:55 He blew all of them and put metal balls into each one.
11:58 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was
12:00 able to um launch the balloons and make the balls fly out, breaking the balloon.
12:06 Okay, there we go.
12:07 We have our final script.
12:08 Now, what we're going to do is copy the entire script.
12:11 Then we're going to go to 11 Labs, which is free as long as you make an account.
12:16 You get like 10,000 free credits or something.
12:18 Then you paste your link into there.
12:20 I like using Max.
12:21 You can literally use any voice you want
12:23 as long as it sounds half decent and half human.
12:25 We're going to put the speed up to 1.14.
12:28 Sometimes people like they make the settings sound very robotic.
12:31 So just play around with it until you find something that works for you.
12:34 Sometimes I just slide it around until something works.
12:36 Uh let's listen to this.
12:37 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
12:41 So you see there's a big pause there.
12:43 So I'm going to remove that comma and try again.
12:45 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
12:48 This kid took a stick with balloons on it and started blowing into them.
12:52 And why he did this is very unexpected.
12:54 He blew on all of them and put metal balls into each balloon.
12:57 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was
13:00 able to stretch the balloons and make the balls fly out, breaking the balloon.
13:03 And then we can even add something at the end like a CTA.
13:06 If you guys don't know what a CTA means, it's a call to action.
13:09 That's what it stands for.
13:10 Call to action could be um asking people to comment or subscribe or like.
13:15 Usually I ask for comments.
13:16 So, what you can do instead of saying comment on the video, you can just say,
13:20 "Would you try this?" And then people in the comments would be like, "Yeah,
13:24 I would try this." Or maybe someone put something in the comments about that.
13:28 Then we're going to regenerate and then try to get a new one.
13:30 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
13:33 This kid took a stick.
13:34 Would you try this?
13:35 And boom, we have our entire script.
13:37 So, we're going to download it.
13:38 And now we have the voice over downloaded.
13:41 So, now we have basically the hard part is over.
13:44 And now all we have left to do is to edit the video.
13:47 So let's open Cap Cut and we're going to start working on this project.
13:51 Just create a new project and then drag your two
13:53 new videos into here and put them onto the timeline.
13:56 Now next thing you're going to want to do is split up your voice over.
14:00 So just select your voice over.
14:02 Then you want to split it up and literally just overlap it over each other.
14:07 Just like that.
14:08 You want to do this so that the voice over
14:10 actually flows well and there's not a lot of pauses.
14:12 After you split it up, it's going to look something like this.
14:15 Next thing you're going to want to do is deselect this button so
14:19 that it actually you can move this around without it having to snap back.
14:23 Then you can just copy and paste the video just
14:26 so you can have a few of them to work with.
14:28 So what I'm going to do for the hook is actually show how he's shooting this.
14:32 I'm going to show like this part and put in the beginning.
14:36 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
14:40 And then right here, I want to make it so it doesn't show how it breaks.
14:44 I'm going to go like that.
14:46 I'm going to end the video right there.
14:48 We're going to split it up.
14:50 And then we're just going to drag this part out.
14:52 And now we can actually start from the beginning of the video.
14:55 Then we can just mute this top line.
14:57 And then it's going to look something like this.
14:59 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
15:02 This kid took a stick with balloons on it and started blowing into them.
15:06 And why he did this is very unexpected.
15:08 He blew on all of them and put metal balls into each balloon.
15:11 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was
15:13 able to stretch the balloons and make the balls fly out.
15:16 Breaking the balloon.
15:17 Would you try that?
15:18 I kind of messed up the script.
15:19 I said breaking the balloon.
15:21 So what I'm going to do is go back to here.
15:26 breaking making the balls fly out at a very fast speed.
15:35 Very no very high speed speed.
15:42 Um causing the plate to break.
15:50 Then we can just delete the rest of the script just to generate this part.
15:54 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was able to stretch the balloons
15:57 and make the balls fly out at a very high speed causing the plate to break.
16:01 Would you try this?
16:02 There we go.
16:03 So, we have the second voice over.
16:05 It's basically done.
16:06 We're just going to drag this new one.
16:08 I think it's the smaller file.
16:10 Yeah, it's this one right here.
16:12 Then we're just going to delete this old part.
16:15 Put this new part in balloon.
16:18 Then he gave the stick to his friend
16:20 and he was able to stretch the balloons and make
16:22 the balls fly out at a very high speed
16:25 causing the plate to causing the plate to break.
16:31 Would you try this?
16:33 Wait, we got to drag that out.
16:35 So, we're going to go like that and then make the CTA at the very end.
16:41 Something like this.
16:43 High speed causing the plate to break.
16:44 And then what we can do, you can see this part is kind of lawn.
16:48 So we can actually just kind of move
16:51 these a bit more so they're more spread apart.
16:54 And then it's going to be like this.
16:56 Dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
16:59 This kid took a stick with balloons on it
17:01 and balloons on it and started blowing into them.
17:04 And why he did this is very unexpected.
17:06 He blew on all of them and put metal balls into each balloon.
17:10 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was able to stretch the balloons
17:13 and make the balls fly out at a very high speed causing the plate to break.
17:19 Would you try this?
17:20 Okay.
17:20 So, what I want to do is cut this so that it's faster like that
17:26 at a very high speed causing the plate to break.
17:29 Would you try this?
17:31 Okay, that's smooth.
17:32 That flow is way better just because I made it a little bit shorter.
17:35 So, first thing before we even start doing that, I want
17:39 to first make the audio on all of them a little bit quieter.
17:42 Um, just like this.
17:43 Let's do this.
17:44 But it's made out of harmless balloons.
17:45 This kid took a stick with
17:47 And then we're going to make this voice over a little bit louder.
17:50 Like that.
17:51 Made out of harmless balloons.
17:52 This kid took a stick with balloons on it and started blowing into them.
17:56 And why he did this is feed causing the plate to break.
17:59 Would you try this?
18:00 All right, that's good.
18:01 Um, I feel like the volume on there is good.
18:04 Next thing what we could do is download a song off of YouTube, right?
18:08 All right.
18:08 So, we're going to go on YouTube,
18:09 search up funk, find something that's actually trending.
18:12 I think I know a pretty popular one now.
18:14 I think it's called Fall from the Sky.
18:16 I saw it on my TikTok.
18:18 It was like trending.
18:22 Yeah, [snorts] it was it was this song right here.
18:25 So, we're going to take this and actually use it in our video.
18:27 All right.
18:28 So, we have that song.
18:29 We're going to go ahead and drag it into here.
18:31 And then the viral part where it's like I forgot where that is.
18:36 It's like, yeah, right there.
18:38 I got it first try.
18:40 That's where we need to make it where the video actually spikes up.
18:43 You know what I mean?
18:44 So, we're going to add a marker right there.
18:47 We're going to click on add marker.
18:49 So, now it's saved there.
18:51 Wait, we can actually move that.
18:54 Yeah, there we go.
18:55 So now we have the marker where the peak of the saw
18:57 is and that's where we're going to have the plate break.
19:01 It's going to be right here.
19:03 So we're going to match that up.
19:05 And then we can just drag this entire part back and then cut this.
19:11 And then we'll have the volume go down and we'll have it go up towards the end.
19:16 So we're going to click a key frame over here.
19:19 Then go to this part and click another
19:22 key frame and make it a little bit louder.
19:24 like that.
19:25 And now let's check it out.
19:26 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
19:29 This kid took a stick with balloons on it and started blowing into them.
19:32 And why he did this is I'm actually going to make it a little bit
19:35 quieter cuz I feel like it's a bit too loud.
19:38 Let's make it like minus 16.
19:40 And he was able to stretch the balloons and make
19:42 the balls fly out at a very high speed, causing the plate to break.
19:46 Would you try this?
19:47 There you go.
19:48 That's pretty good.
19:49 I feel like that part of the edit was good.
19:52 Um, next thing what we're going to do is make it visually interesting.
19:56 Okay.
19:56 Okay.
19:57 So, we're going to start with the intro.
19:59 We're going to add an animation.
20:01 We're going to click here.
20:02 We can click on basic.
20:03 We can do like blur in and then make it like 6.
20:07 That should make it more visually interesting.
20:10 So, for this second transition,
20:12 what I want to do is go over to movement and then
20:15 I'm just going to do like a shake or pull in.
20:18 I think I'm going to do a shake just because it looks pretty good.
20:20 balloons.
20:20 This kid took a
20:22 And then during that, I actually want to add a transition.
20:24 So, go over to audio, scroll down to sound effect,
20:27 and then look up camera shutter.
20:34 So, I think this first one sounds pretty good.
20:36 So, we're going to drag it right under here.
20:39 And we're just going to line it up and make it a little bit quieter.
20:42 And let's listen to this.
20:43 Balloons.
20:43 This kid took Actually, I'm going to make it a little bit louder.
20:47 This kid took a stick with balloons on it and started blowing into them.
20:50 And why he did this is very unexpected.
20:53 And then this first clip, we can just make a slow zoom in the whole clip.
20:58 So add a key frame to the first one.
21:01 Then go to the very last one before the shake.
21:05 Uh you can just zoom in.
21:07 That's where the shake starts right here.
21:09 We can add another key frame and just zoom in a little.
21:11 So then it'll have a small animation.
21:13 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
21:17 And if you want the zoom to be in even faster,
21:19 you can go here and like do like 120.
21:27 And then we'll have something like this.
21:29 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
21:32 This kid took.
21:34 And then if you want the thing to be more centered,
21:36 you can literally just move it.
21:38 As long as you have the key
21:39 frame like the transfer transform key frame selected,
21:43 it should save the scale and where it actually is like the position.
21:48 Then we're going to go to this next one and where he's blowing.
21:52 I'm going to make it more visually interesting.
21:54 First, what we're going to do is add a key frame to the very first one.
22:00 And then we'll go to the last Oops.
22:02 We'll go to the last part and then we'll add another key
22:05 frame and then zoom in and then move him a little like that.
22:10 So, it's going to look like this.
22:11 This kid took a stick with balloons on it and started blowing into them.
22:14 And why he did this is very
22:16 And then this next one, what we can do on this one is actually do a pull out.
22:21 So then when we just start, we have a scale that's actually more in.
22:26 And then we go to the last frame of it like here.
22:29 add a split.
22:32 Um, then we do key frame and then make the scale back to the original size.
22:37 Something like this.
22:38 And why he did this is very unexpected.
22:42 It's going to look something like this.
22:43 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
22:46 This kid took a stick with balloons on it and started blowing into them.
22:50 And why he did this is very unexpected.
22:52 He blew on all of them.
22:54 What we can do is actually remove this transition
22:56 just because it's like the same clip kind of blowing
22:58 into them and why he did this is very
23:01 unex them and why he did this is very unexpected.
23:05 He blew on them and why he did this is very unexpected.
23:09 He blew on all of them and put then we can go
23:13 back to the original scale and then we'll add like a quick zoom.
23:18 So, I'm just going to do this.
23:20 Then do this right here and zoom into his hand where he's placing.
23:26 And then we can go ahead and do Alt K on your keyboard.
23:29 And that should bring up this little menu right here.
23:32 Um, don't worry, it's not that confusing.
23:34 Just click on scale, click on the second key frame,
23:36 click on the presets, and then I like cubic ease.
23:40 All of them.
23:41 And then you're just going to want to repeat this for the Xaxxis.
23:46 And then you're going to want to do it on the Y axis.
23:48 If you want to just go back into the video,
23:51 skip back and then just rewatch this how many times you need.
23:53 But all you need to do is click alt K.
23:55 And that's how you bring up the menu.
23:57 He blew on all of them and put metal ball.
24:00 And then after that initial zoom,
24:02 we can keep making it zoom in by adding
24:04 another key frame at the last frame again.
24:07 And then just making it zoom in a little bit.
24:09 Nothing crazy.
24:10 Just like that.
24:11 And make sure he's always in the center.
24:13 Unexpected.
24:14 He blew on all of them and put metal balls into each balloon.
24:17 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was able to stretch the balloon.
24:22 Then when he gives it to him and goes down,
24:24 I want to put another key frame except for his zoom out to 100.
24:32 Then he gave the stick to his friend.
24:34 When he grabs it, we're going to do a small
24:36 zoom while his hand is going up like that.
24:42 It's just a small little zoom.
24:45 And then when he goes down, another zoom like that.
24:51 And then when he's fully done, when he turns it around like that.
24:57 I'm going to make it zoom out to the original size.
25:01 So then it's going to look something like this.
25:03 But right now it's not going to look smooth.
25:05 Then he gave the stick to his friend
25:06 and he was able to stretch the balloons and make
25:09 You see that doesn't look that smooth.
25:10 So, we're going to have to click alt K on our keyboard and do the same thing.
25:14 Just click on each one and do this do this preset.
25:20 Able to stretch the balloon.
25:22 And we're we're going to do this to every single one.
25:25 And then once you're done, it should look something like this.
25:27 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was able to stretch
25:29 the balloons and make the balls fly out at a very high speed causing the
25:34 Then I want to add a zoom in from here to the end of the clip.
25:39 Um, we're just gonna go like this.
25:40 Add another key frame and just make it zoom in by like 110
25:44 balloons and make the balls fly out
25:46 at a very high speed causing the plate to break.
25:49 Would you try this?
25:50 And then right here when the plate breaks,
25:52 we can actually do like a shake transition.
25:54 So you can click split, click on animation,
25:57 and then we can just do something like this.
26:01 So then we add an animation after like this causing the plate to break.
26:04 Would you try this to break?
26:06 Try this if we want to.
26:07 That one is kind of distracting.
26:09 We can do something else.
26:10 We can do like a collision.
26:13 You try that and make it a bit short.
26:15 You try a very high speed causing the plate to break.
26:18 Would you try this?
26:19 I feel like that looks pretty good.
26:21 Now, let's start adding some more things.
26:23 I want to add a transition from here to there.
26:27 So, we're going to click on the transition and do another shake.
26:32 Or we can do a pull in very high speed causing the plate to break.
26:36 Would you try this?
26:37 This is And then what we can do is add another animation here.
26:42 The same one as the intro, which is light.
26:45 And then we go to blur.
26:47 And he blew on all of He blew on.
26:51 So it's going to look like this.
26:52 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
26:55 This kid took a stick with balloons on it and started blowing into them.
26:59 And why he did this is very unexpected.
27:01 He blew on all of them and put metal balls into each balloon.
27:05 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was able to stretch the balloons
27:08 and make the balls fly out at a very high speed causing the plate to break.
27:12 Would you try this?
27:13 This is the most Okay.
27:15 Then what you want to do at the actual
27:16 pull in transition is add a whoo sound effect, right?
27:20 Because um you want all your transitions to have sound effects on them.
27:25 So we can just go to the search, look up whoo, something like this.
27:36 [sighs] So we can take this one right here and just
27:38 shorten it like that and then make it a lot quieter.
27:42 So very high speed causing the
27:45 like that.
27:45 And then that should be good.
27:46 And that's basically it.
27:47 Now we're going to add some finishing touches.
27:49 All right.
27:49 Then I'm going to go ahead and add this arrow right here.
27:53 The most dangerous weapon.
27:55 We're going to do it right after the first frame.
27:57 We're going to go like this.
27:58 And then I'm going to add a Dean.
28:00 A lot of people what they do is they blast this Dean sound effect.
28:04 You do not want to do that.
28:05 Make sure it's like -7.
28:07 And then what we're going to do for this is kind of rotate it.
28:12 Make it a little bit bigger.
28:14 We're going to make it at the top part just
28:16 because in YouTube shorts there's always more space at the top.
28:19 And then we're going to track it.
28:20 So we're going to start off by making it completely down,
28:24 making it a little bit smaller.
28:26 Then we're going to click on the transform key frame.
28:28 And then we're just going to click on the arrow key on our keyboard.
28:31 And then this should make everything smooth.
28:38 So just keep rotating it, keep moving it.
28:50 Just keep rotating, keep moving it.
28:53 And that's basically it.
28:55 Once you have that done, you can just delete that second part.
28:59 And it should look something like this.
29:00 This is the most dangerous.
29:02 And I don't like how there's not a lot of movement there.
29:04 So what we're going to do is add some movement before this is the most.
29:11 And then I'm going to add a first key frame in the very beginning.
29:15 So it's going to look something like this.
29:16 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harm.
29:19 And then we can also add a fade out.
29:21 So it fades out.
29:25 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
29:29 This kid took a stick with
29:31 And when he's putting metal balls, I'm going to circle his hand.
29:35 So we're going to do that.
29:37 We're going to click on mask just to make the circle
29:39 smaller just because I don't like how big it is.
29:43 Something like that should be good.
29:45 Then we're going to make it a lot
29:47 smaller and then we're going to track the circle.
29:50 So, we're going to start it from there and then keep moving the thing.
29:55 So, like that.
29:58 Do something like this.
30:01 Keep moving it.
30:05 Keep moving it.
30:09 And then you can just split.
30:10 That should be enough of the red circle.
30:14 Then you're going to do another sound effect.
30:17 For this one, we can just do like a awkward
30:20 moment sound effect or we can switch it out.
30:22 We can make the Dean go over here and then the awkward moment
30:26 for the first one cuz this is a very popular sound effect to have first.
30:29 So, we can do something like this.
30:30 This is the most dangerous weapon, but yeah, that one's better.
30:34 And then we'll save the Dean for the second part right
30:37 here on all of them and put metal balls into each balloon.
30:41 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he
30:43 was able to stretch the balloons and make the ball.
30:46 Then instead of this um shutter sound effect,
30:49 we're also going to add this one too and make it a little bit quieter.
30:53 Just stack them.
30:54 This kid took a stick.
30:56 This kid took a That should be good.
30:58 Then you can just add random sound effects.
31:00 So sometimes I just like adding like the XP
31:02 Minecraft sound effect whenever he says something important.
31:05 So when he says like break right here, I'm going to say the plate to break
31:11 uh right here causing the plate to break.
31:13 Would you try this?
31:14 Something like this.
31:15 And then see how much I transformed this.
31:18 Next thing what we're going to do is actually add subtitles.
31:21 So you're going to want to first group all the subtitles before you make them.
31:25 Just like that.
31:26 Because sometimes it's buggy when you don't do that.
31:28 if you don't have auto captions, if you don't have Cap Cut Pro,
31:31 um honestly that's just an L because you're
31:33 gonna have to make all the captions by yourself.
31:36 But like I would definitely recommend Cap Cut Pro.
31:38 I'm not like affiliated with them or anything,
31:40 but I would definitely recommend it cuz it's super fast.
31:43 You literally just click that button and just wait
31:45 a few more seconds and then it should make the captions.
31:48 All right, so we have the captions generated.
31:50 Looks something like this.
31:52 Looks pretty bad and bland.
31:53 So what we're going to first do is move it to around right here.
31:57 Then we're going to click on animations.
31:59 And I really like the color bounce.
32:02 He blew on all of them.
32:04 We can even make it a little bit higher.
32:06 Um I would make it a bit below center like right here.
32:09 As long as it's not in the way.
32:10 Yeah, I would say that's a pretty good spot for them.
32:12 Um then we can click on text.
32:15 Then I like changing the font.
32:16 This is my favorite one.
32:18 I'm going to add a stroke.
32:19 Make the stroke thickness more.
32:21 We're going to go to the highlight keywords and we're
32:24 just going to remove them because I don't really need them.
32:26 It's like a It's kind of a dumb feature.
32:28 I wouldn't really use it.
32:30 And it should look like this.
32:31 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
32:35 This kid took a stick with balloons on it and started blowing into them.
32:38 And why he did this is very unexpected.
32:40 He blew on all of them and put metal balls into each balloon.
32:44 Then he gave the stick to his friend and he was able to stretch
32:47 the balloons and make the balls fly out at a very high speed,
32:50 causing the plate to break.
32:52 Would you try this?
32:53 Also, if you want to make the video look more professional,
32:56 what you could do is actually change the animation.
32:59 What else we can do is like a glow on all of them and put
33:03 and then remove the uh actual stroke.
33:06 We can scroll down, remove the stroke, add a shadow instead,
33:11 and just make the shadow opacity pretty high.
33:15 And then you can also make the distance however you want.
33:18 You can make it like this.
33:19 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
33:22 This kid took a stick with balloons on it.
33:25 I'm just going to keep it to the other
33:26 one just because it's more appealing in my opinion.
33:30 This is the most dangerous weapon, but it's made out of harmless balloons.
33:34 Also, what else you could do is make it bolder.
33:37 That looks pretty good, too.
33:39 And you're basically done.
33:41 That's pretty much it with the AI commentary video.
33:44 Yeah, but like usually one thing with AI commentary
33:46 is that people usually underestimate the power of the script.
33:50 Like the script is very powerful.
33:52 Everyone thinks like the clip is the most important and but in reality it's not.
33:56 It's like the second or third most important.
33:58 The script is the thing that actually keeps the videos watching and it's
34:02 the thing that actually monetizes your channel
34:04 because if you don't have a script,
34:05 you're just going to get stried as reused content.
34:07 That's why AI commentary isn't a beginnerfriendly
34:09 niche because if your script is weak, you literally can't save your video.
34:13 That's why in the inner circle,
34:15 I helped people write their scripts one-on-one properly.
34:18 And this is just one of the key points
34:19 because once you understand how to write these scripts,
34:22 AI commentary becomes stupidly easy.
34:24 But if you don't know how to write it properly,
34:26 you're just uploading shorts that are mediocre and they get no traction.
34:30 And that quietly trains YouTube to stop caring about your channel.
34:33 And that's why I have one more editing style for you guys,
34:36 which is the easiest out of all of them.
34:37 So, let's move on to it, which is video style three, ranking videos.
34:41 Also guys, last thing before we hop into the last editing style,
34:46 which is ranking videos, I just want to tell you guys really quick.
34:49 I have a school community.
34:51 It's school.com/shortsmastery or you can just go
34:54 to my YouTube bio and we right now over 240 members who are interested in doing
35:00 YouTube shorts and they're exactly like you.
35:02 So if you want to go into this community,
35:04 we also have some modules about how to do YouTube shorts,
35:07 how to script, write, and a lot of other things.
35:09 We also host monthly cash competitions.
35:12 So, if you're interested in that, just
35:13 go to my bio or go to school.com/shortsmastery.
35:17 All right, I don't want to waste your time.
35:18 Let's go back to the video.
35:19 All right, so ranking shorts are very easy to make.
35:22 And the thing is they get hundreds of millions
35:23 of views and they're just super simple to make.
35:26 So, first thing what we're going to do is also go to Tik Tok, right?
35:30 And then we go to the explore tab.
35:32 We kind of done this before, but this is where we do something different.
35:35 We first find one enjoyable clip that we like.
35:37 So, there we go.
35:38 We have a pool moments, right?
35:40 And this video looks pretty boring.
35:43 Oh, never mind.
35:43 It's actually pretty funny.
35:44 So, we're going to go ahead and download this video.
35:47 We're going to go to Tik Tok downloader.
35:50 We're going to download it.
35:51 And then we're going to go to the search bar
35:53 and we're going to look up funny billiard moments, right?
36:00 Or we can just do billiard moments like that.
36:04 We can do something like this.
36:06 or we can just simply search up billiard like this.
36:11 All right, so we found a couple.
36:12 I'm going to download another one right here.
36:15 Um, let's just go back to download more videos.
36:17 We're going to paste the other link.
36:19 And this one was kind of like a compilation.
36:21 We're just going to download it, too.
36:23 And we're going to cut them up in the editing software later.
36:26 And before we even edit,
36:27 we got to do a few things so that our videos will actually be monetizable.
36:31 We got to make it transformative by adding a voice over.
36:33 So for the beginning we will do ranking
36:36 funniest billiard moments can do which moment was
36:44 the funniest and we'll use this later but let's
36:49 just generate it and see how it sounds.
36:51 Ranking the funniest billiard moments.
36:52 Which moment was the funniest?
36:54 All right.
36:54 So I think that's pretty good.
36:56 So we went ahead and downloaded that and now we can go into Cap Cut.
37:00 Once you're in Cap Cut, just export all of these clips into here.
37:04 So, they're all here.
37:06 We're going to do the 11 Labs uh right here.
37:11 We're going to do these three videos right here,
37:15 and then we're going to put them into the editing software.
37:18 First thing, what we're going to do is split up all of these clips.
37:21 So, I'm just going to cut um all the times where this thing pops up.
37:27 And then I'm gonna do this one too because I think this one's pretty funny.
37:31 This one is very similar.
37:33 So I'm going to skip it.
37:34 I want to see what this is.
37:36 I haven't seen this one yet.
37:39 All right.
37:39 So we went ahead and split all of them.
37:40 Now we have around six moments.
37:43 So we're going to take this voice over.
37:44 We're going to split it up.
37:45 This is going to be the first one.
37:47 And we're just going to put it here.
37:49 Ranking the funniest billard moment.
37:52 Except I feel like this clip isn't the best.
37:55 So, I'm going to do this one first.
37:57 Okay.
37:57 Then, we're going to take this clip um right here and put at the very end.
38:02 And then we're also going to change the ratio of each clip.
38:06 So, first I want to change the entire project to 9 by 16.
38:10 And then I also want to make sure each one has
38:13 a little bit of black space on the top of it.
38:15 So, I'm going to do this for each one.
38:18 Now, you can see all of them have a little
38:20 bit of black space on top, which is perfect.
38:22 Now, we're going to go ahead and get a text layer,
38:25 and we're going to put at the very top,
38:27 and we're just going to do ranking um funniest beard moments.
38:38 And then we can go ahead and split this like that.
38:43 Make sure the spelling is correct like that.
38:47 Then we drag it up to the very top.
38:49 Make it a little bit smaller.
38:50 Then we can change the font to anything we want.
38:54 Make it a little bit bigger.
38:55 I feel like that's good.
38:57 Then we can make this one a different color.
39:00 We can make it like yellow.
39:02 Then billiard.
39:03 We can make like red.
39:05 Then that looks pretty clean, right?
39:07 Next thing what we got to do is add the actual text.
39:11 So this is the pretty easy part.
39:13 You're just going to want to put a bunch of these.
39:16 The first one will be number one and add a period.
39:20 And you're going to want to change it.
39:22 So, we're going to make it so it has a big shadow over it.
39:25 And then we're going to make the opacity of the text like 50%.
39:29 And then we're going to make this a lot darker.
39:33 So, like that.
39:34 And then it's going to look something like this.
39:37 Now, we can make it a little bit smaller like that.
39:40 And then copy this over a bunch of times.
39:43 We're going to copy this five more times.
39:46 Then we're going to lock in and start doing more.
39:49 So this is going to be two.
39:50 It's going to be right here.
39:53 Then you're going to go ahead and do three.
39:56 And you're going to drag that down.
39:58 And we're just going to keep repeating this process until all of them are done.
40:01 All right.
40:02 So we have all of them.
40:03 Now I'm going to space them out so they look a bit better.
40:05 Don't put them too close to the side because the sides get
40:08 cut off in YouTube shorts and you got to keep that in mind.
40:11 So, we're going to start from here and try
40:13 to censor all of these and make it very symmetrical.
40:18 And I feel like this looks pretty good.
40:21 It's not the best, but it'll do the job.
40:25 Right.
40:26 So, now we got to take a new text layer and build it up.
40:30 Right.
40:31 But this one, we're going to copy and paste it.
40:33 Before we do, we got to obviously change the text.
40:36 So, we're going to make this one like um bro spit on him, right?
40:43 Make it a little bit smaller.
40:45 And this one, we can add the same effects.
40:48 [snorts] We can click on that, go down, make the opacity higher,
40:55 the blurriness higher, and then the opacity of the text a bit lower.
41:00 And then we can put this one at like number two.
41:02 Then you're going to copy this effect and just
41:05 do a bunch of different ones at each layer.
41:10 And then we'll change each one.
41:12 So we're going to click on the second one
41:14 and we're going to make it like number four.
41:17 Make sure you always leave number one for last.
41:20 This one we're going to do it went in his pocket.
41:28 And you can just drag it, place it here.
41:30 And then we're going to do the next one, which is um he broke the vase.
41:39 He broke the vase.
41:42 Then we're going to put it here.
41:44 Then we're going to go to the next one, which is he's knocked out.
41:51 Bro passed out or something like that.
41:54 And we're going to go on Ron Way.
41:59 brocho.
42:02 Something like that.
42:02 And then the last one will be horrible aim.
42:08 Something like that.
42:09 And then you just select all of these and split it at the end.
42:12 And it should look something like this.
42:14 Ranking the funniest billiard moments.
42:21 And then to make it more engaging and also to make it more transformative,
42:24 we can start adding sound effects.
42:26 So to this one, I want to add a vine.
42:29 Boom.
42:33 We can just place it on top after he spits on him.
42:39 So like that.
42:44 This one.
42:44 We can also add some more sound effects.
42:47 So I'm going to go and open my assets for shorts.
42:49 Okay.
42:50 So I got all these assets.
42:51 By the way, if you want them, uh, go check out my Instagram.
42:54 It's going to be in the link in the description.
42:56 All right, but anyways, we're going to take this sound effect.
42:59 So, when it lands in his pocket like that, we're
43:02 just going to add a sound effect like this.
43:09 [screaming] I'm going to add another sound effect here.
43:14 We're going to do like awkward moment sound effect.
43:21 Also, you could play this at the very beginning just because it makes it good.
43:26 Ranking the funniest billiard and then we can make this louder.
43:31 Ranking the funniest billiard moments.
43:35 Also, what else we can do is add some music if you want,
43:39 but honestly, for ranking, I wouldn't add any music.
43:42 But, um, I'm going to do another awkward moment when he hits it right here.
43:52 I'm going add a another vine boom right here.
43:59 Yeah.
43:59 And that's pretty much it.
44:00 Basically, you want to make it so it has a voice
44:03 over and then some sound effects so it's actually counted as transformative.
44:07 And to make it even more transformative,
44:09 we can add some transitions in between the clips.
44:12 So, I like going to movement and then I like doing Poland.
44:16 I'm just going to spam a bunch of different ones.
44:18 I'll do shake on the next one.
44:21 I'll do pull in on this one.
44:24 I'll do shake.
44:26 And then I'll do like pull out or something because I know they have a pull out.
44:30 Yeah.
44:30 Right here.
44:31 Then we can just add sound effects to them.
44:34 So I know that shake is good for um camera shutter.
44:39 So I'm going to add camera shutter sound effect over this one.
44:41 Make it a little bit quieter.
44:44 I'm going to play a bit forward.
44:47 Just like that.
44:48 Um, then I know there's going to be another shake right here.
44:54 I believe we added one.
44:55 Is that where we added one?
44:57 Yeah, we can add another one here.
44:59 We can go C control V.
45:03 You tell me.
45:04 Good luck.
45:06 Then we can do Poland.
45:07 So for Poland, I would go to audio.
45:09 Then you can go to sound effects.
45:11 Find a swish sound effect or a whoosh, whatever it's called.
45:24 Oh my.
45:24 Where did There we go.
45:25 So, this one is pretty good, I heard.
45:28 Um, we can just put it here and then make it a little bit quieter.
45:35 And then we can just copy it and paste it in other situations.
45:39 So like right here, make it a little bit quieter.
45:43 And then we'll do it at the last one right here.
45:46 Make it a little bit quieter.
45:48 And then for the intro, you can just click on animation.
45:51 And I like doing lights and doing blow the funniest and making it a bit shorter.
45:57 So then it's going to end up looking like this.
45:59 Ranking the funniest billiard moments.
46:19 You tell me good luck.
46:21 I don't need luck to perform.
46:23 I decide when to perform good.
46:26 I'm playing.
46:34 Which moment was the funniest?
46:36 All right.
46:36 So, that's pretty much it for all the editing tutorials,
46:40 but also I have one more thing to say.
46:42 You can probably see the pattern now.
46:43 It's not the niche and it's not how
46:45 often you post and it's definitely not the algorithm.
46:48 It's whether your edits actually give a reason for people to stay.
46:51 Streamer clipping fails when there is no retention.
46:53 AI commentary fails when the script is bad.
46:56 And ranking needs to be transformative and actually has
46:59 to have a good hook for it to work.
47:01 All of these only work if the edit forces people to stay till the end.
47:04 And if it doesn't, you're back at the same place,
47:06 posting every day and getting 30,000 view jail,
47:09 being stuck, and ever wondering if you're ever going to be monetized.
47:13 I still believe that YouTube Shorts is one of the easiest and fastest
47:16 ways to get rich and the best business models out there today.
47:20 But only if you know how to monetize a channel and don't mess up the execution.
47:23 That's where most people get stuck.
47:25 They post shorts on an unmonetized channel,
47:28 stuck in the wrong niche, or editing in the wrong way.
47:31 Like I explained here, most people who are stuck in 0 through
47:34 30,000 view jail never turn it into real money.
47:37 If you know how to monetize and know how to find good editors,
47:40 this is the simplest way to stack 3 through $5,000 a month completely
47:44 on autopilot without learning some crazy complex
47:46 skill or working crazy amounts of hours.
47:49 Especially if you have a job or still at school
47:51 and want to make some stable income on the side,
47:54 I think YouTube Shorts is the most straightforward and simple way to do so.
47:57 Inside the Shortsmastery inner circle, I help you do exactly that.
48:01 We help you monetize your channel under 60 days,
48:04 and I have my own personal editors who edit for me,
48:06 post your first five shorts for you.
48:08 That way, momentum isn't the thing that kills you.
48:11 Once we make your channel monetized and profitable,
48:13 you can outsource the editing completely with my network,
48:16 and still clear an extra $35,000 a month while doing very little for yourself.
48:21 If you're struggling right now and actually
48:23 want to make money with YouTube shorts,
48:25 whether you haven't started yet or already posting and not seeing results
48:28 or you don't want to spend months figuring this out the hard way,
48:31 the link at the top of the description is the next step.
48:34 Appreciate you guys for watching.
48:36 And if you don't know how to make shorts,
48:37 I have a full 80minute video explaining how
48:40 to do YouTube shorts from start to finish.
48:42 It's a free full guide here on YouTube.
48:44 So, if you haven't already, watch it on screen.
48:47 Peace out.
