0:14 No hands, Mom.

0:16 Yeah, you're good.

0:19 No hands.

0:23 Very tropical today.

0:50 Yes.

0:50 Let me see if it just needs to be pressed.

1:18 Yeah, we're trying again.

1:21 Here we go.

1:33 They can hear us on stream.

1:34 Hi stream.

3:06 Oh my god.

4:25 What is going on?

4:26 Look who it is.

4:27 Oh my god.

4:33 Yeah, that was Oh, wow.

4:34 It's just N.

4:34 You see N there, too.

4:37 Yeah, there was N was there briefly.

4:41 He's going to enjoy that.

4:43 I forgot.

4:43 Anyway, guys, um yeah,

4:45 cuz I went right to the I went to I did what I normally did,

4:47 which is go to the thing, but you're here.

4:49 So, that was the problem is that he's actually here.

4:52 So, Alex is Alex is real.

4:53 He is not I do exist.

4:55 It's taken us how much how much like it's taken

4:57 us four years to turn AI into actual physical tissue.

5:01 And it worked.

5:02 It worked.

5:03 And that is that is what happens, right?

5:05 Like we have literally Alex and I retire.

5:08 We're done.

5:08 We've literally figured out how to we we've made billions um from this internet.

5:13 Yeah.

5:13 For the You thought it was No, he's not AI.

5:15 This is It's a real Alex.

5:17 You look like AI.

5:18 I mean, it's But no, I'm not AI.

5:19 It's a real It's a real Alex.

5:21 He almost looks real.

5:22 It's uncanny valley.

5:23 It's uncanny valley.

5:25 That's almost there.

5:26 But guys, this is this is a big show.

5:29 It is.

5:29 It is a very big show.

5:30 So, it's a big show for a couple reasons.

5:32 Number one, um we're celebrating the launch of a CPU.

5:34 Number two, we're celebrating a launch of a CPU

5:36 that people really like, which is awesome.

5:38 Um, and then, uh, number three, we have so many guests.

5:42 Yes, there's a lot of guests coming in today.

5:44 We're definitely have a packed program TV stream thingy for you guys.

5:49 So, it's going to be a lot of fun.

5:50 And we're together.

5:50 That's like number four.

5:51 And you guys are here.

5:52 That's number five.

5:53 And there's actually giveaways.

5:55 Do Do you want to do the the whole Yeah.

5:57 Yeah.

5:58 Let's talk about that.

5:58 So, it says Alex's my Alex's mic is on.

6:02 Or is you?

6:02 No, it's on.

6:03 It's on.

6:04 It's on.

6:04 Does it Do we have it on here?

6:06 Say, "What number are you?"

6:10 Yeah, it shows.

6:10 Oh, it shows it really quiet.

6:11 Say something, babe.

6:12 Hi, my name is Alex.

6:14 No, he's on.

6:14 He's on.

6:16 Maybe I'm just that much louder, guys.

6:18 But he is on, guys.

6:19 Sure.

6:19 Should I loud voices?

6:21 Okay, so Alex, it says it's on% on.

6:24 Okay, maybe I just need to speak louder.

6:26 Louder and clear.

6:27 So, take away the the accent.

6:28 Make sure I put the fastest in the right to loud.

6:31 The audio isn't synced.

6:32 That's not even possible.

6:34 It's because it's AI.

6:35 It's live.

6:36 Yes.

6:39 So, anyway, it's it's it's AI.

6:40 I I don't even know how to do it.

6:42 Okay.

6:42 But anyway, let's talk about the giveaways

6:44 because the giveaways are one of those things

6:45 that I know that people want to uh want to know how it goes in there.

6:48 Um, first and foremost, US, you have to be United States.

6:52 You have to be in the US.

6:53 You don't have to be a US citizen.

6:54 You have to live in the United States.

6:56 You have to be over the age of 18 or 18.

6:58 You have to be 18 or older.

6:59 So, that I I'm not I don't qualify right away.

7:01 No, because you're three

7:03 because we just we just genetically made you.

7:05 Um, and then, uh, the last thing is you have to be following Rob,

7:09 you have to be following Intel, and you have to be on the Discord server.

7:12 That's how we basically there it is right there.

7:13 It's it's really simple.

7:15 Now, if you I know people are going to be like, why is it not international?

7:18 Talk to your government agencies.

7:21 Yeah, that's not us.

7:21 The government we we don't we don't we don't we don't do anything at all.

7:25 Like, we have nothing to do with that, guys.

7:27 So, just we just make Alex AI.

7:30 Very quiet.

7:31 Okay.

7:31 Well, I'm going to let Alex chat because he says his mic is being weird.

7:34 So, let me see what I can figure out here.

7:36 The thing is there's a lot of uh you know,

7:38 we have big personalities, loud voices, and we're just very happy.

7:41 So, maybe we are so excited that maybe the mic's not

7:43 picking me off or maybe it just like uh is there.

7:46 Yes, it is.

7:47 Uh the for the giveaways that we have here, as you guys are seeing in there,

7:50 it is us only and we're giving actually away two pieces.

7:53 And like Ro was saying earlier,

7:54 it has to be you have to be over 18 years of age.

7:58 Uh I cannot qualify because I am mentally three

8:00 or so depending on on on the day of the week.

8:02 Uh so you guys just stay tuned for that.

8:04 And right now what two what is why is my what's going on with my mic?

8:10 Uh so we just you know as usual Na'vi is in the room

8:14 and we're think yeah we're very excited to have you guys here.

8:17 We're very excited to talk about all the different

8:19 news the products and yes today we'll be talking about better.

8:23 Uh your phone is much better there.

8:24 Much better.

8:25 Yeah.

8:25 Sorry to cut you off.

8:26 No no it's okay.

8:27 You can There it is now.

8:28 Yes.

8:28 There we go.

8:29 There we go.

8:29 Yay.

8:31 Success.

8:32 I just put him in a different hole.

8:33 That's all it is.

8:35 That sounded really bad the way that I said.

8:37 That's not what I meant to say.

8:38 Okay.

8:38 So, anyway, I just This is THE WAY IT WORKS, GUYS.

8:41 We We do all of the work.

8:43 We get it all prepped.

8:43 We do all the audio testing.

8:45 Then, as soon as we go live, it just doesn't work.

8:46 So, thank you very much for whatever is going on.

8:50 He's so loud.

8:51 Oh my god.

8:52 We can't go from one to the other.

8:54 Okay, there you go.

8:55 Is that better?

8:56 Maybe I should just like Hold on.

8:57 Let me go down here.

8:58 Okay.

8:59 Okay.

8:59 Now Roy's mic is off.

9:01 My ro My mic is not off.

9:05 Okay.

9:04 Wait.

9:05 All right.

9:05 There's too many cooks in this kitchen.

9:08 Way to get things going.

9:11 Okay.

9:11 They are fixed.

9:12 Okay.

9:12 Everything Everything's fixed.

9:13 We're all good now.

9:14 We should go offline.

9:15 All right.

9:16 And we're Thank you guys for joining us.

9:18 So, we'll catch you guys next week.

9:19 Congratulations to the winners.

9:21 That was a test.

9:22 Someone call it audio it.

9:23 That's what we essentially need.

9:25 But guys, anyway, very very excited.

9:27 270K plus, that's why we're actually here.

9:29 Um, so let's talk a little bit.

9:30 Let's just talk about what's happening because

9:32 the show is actually longer than it normally is.

9:34 Well, we think it's going to be.

9:36 Yeah, we think it is.

9:36 We don't know.

9:37 We'll find out.

9:38 We We know for sure that it's going to last a certain amount of time

9:41 because we have guests who are going to come and tell us things, right?

9:43 So, that's pretty cool.

9:44 So, let's talk about who is coming today

9:46 cuz we have a long and distinguished list.

9:48 Yes.

9:48 And then there's us.

9:51 Yeah.

9:51 We're just here for the pretty faces.

9:53 Uh oh, wait.

9:54 Okay, never mind.

9:54 Yes.

9:55 So, yeah.

9:56 So, we're going to be start uh with Robert Hack.

9:58 He's the VP of the channel and he's actually uh this he's

10:01 one of the persons who's leading this whole uh processor launch.

10:04 Uh he's going to be joining us here shortly in a couple of minutes.

10:06 So, we'll be able to give us all the all

10:08 the details on these amazing these two processors that are coming out.

10:12 And you borrowed his shirt.

10:14 I he doesn't know this, but I actually went into his uh

10:19 closet and I just went and picked this because I

10:21 was like I thought like I saw him on the Intel

10:23 gaming videos that he's doing and I thought I was like,

10:25 "Oh man, that is that is that is spot

10:28 on and I love it." And what I realized what I

10:30 didn't realize until this morning when I was having breakfast

10:32 at the hotel is the best icebreaker to just start conversations

10:37 is my shirt.

10:38 Oh, that's awesome.

10:39 Okay.

10:39 So So anyway, he he will see

10:41 for the first time that you're wearing the same shirt.

10:43 Exactly.

10:44 Yes.

10:44 And there is a chance, there is a nonzero chance,

10:46 by the way, guys, that he may be wearing the same shirt.

10:49 Yeah.

10:49 I don't know what he was going to be wearing, but it'll be pretty.

10:52 If he's wearing the same shirt, then we can do the Spider-Man meme.

10:55 I know.

10:56 Just start pointing.

10:57 Then I'll feel really bad that I didn't wear that shirt.

10:59 Next time we'll have to like completely figure it out.

11:00 Yeah, we'll have to completely coordinate from there.

11:03 Um, okay.

11:04 I'm just making sure that we going in there.

11:06 Yeah.

11:06 I mean, it's basically the same person

11:07 except one can speak Spanish, so it's reasonable.

11:10 Well, officially I am I am Yeah, I am his stunt double.

11:14 I mean, he likes to do all the action scenes,

11:16 but he cannot be at all the different parts of the world at the same time.

11:20 We're not there yet.

11:21 So, he does the big action scenes and I just

11:23 go do the little ones that he can't get to.

11:25 So, that's how it works usually.

11:26 Wow.

11:26 By the way, I will say somebody's already noticed that they're like,

11:29 "What is your workout routine?" Actually, you'll find out today cuz

11:35 So, we're actually having a Oh, wait.

11:36 I don't know if we want to cuz dude, I

11:38 Well, you just have to say the magic word.

11:39 Yeah, I know.

11:40 But if I Okay, so here's what happens, guys.

11:42 Every time we have to say the word 270K plus.

11:46 There we go.

11:47 Yeah.

11:47 Then uh a certain somebody has to do something.

11:50 Yes.

11:50 So, we brought this over here and what I'm going to do is like every

11:55 Maybe we'll need to accumulate to like five.

11:57 YEAH.

11:57 YEAH.

11:58 IT'S NOT IT'S NOT GOING TO YEAH.

11:59 IT'S NOT GOING to be every time cuz we're going to see it a lot.

12:01 And the poor guy, I mean, he's ripped, but he's not that ripped.

12:04 But anyway, here's what he's going to do.

12:05 Like, so I'll be like I'll be like, "OH MY GOSH, ALEX PLUS++ I want to do."

12:10 And then I'll just go be like, "That was easy.

12:12 That was easy.

12:13 That was easy.

12:14 That was easy.

12:15 That was easy." So, five.

12:18 There we go.

12:19 Yeah.

12:19 See, now I just bench part.

12:20 So then what I do is I go,

12:22 "That's This is my workout right there." Everybody's like,

12:30 "Wow, that's amazing." HEY, WE WANTED TO HAVE FUN.

12:32 THAT WAS ALEX'S THING.

12:33 But guys, we cannot kill Alex.

12:35 We've already had him question his life decisions about some other things.

12:38 Like, he's not fully functioning, but we'll have some fun with it.

12:41 Not fully saying it, too.

12:42 And yes, on the form, I mean, you got to respect the form.

12:45 Chest to the ground, arms full extended, and that's actual push-up.

12:48 Yeah.

12:48 Yeah.

12:48 Yeah.

12:49 So, that's why I'm not doing it.

12:53 I'm still working on it, DMAT.

12:54 Thank you very much for the sub, dude.

12:55 Level six.

12:56 Wow.

12:57 We have a level six hype train, dude.

12:58 You guys ARE BEING INCREDIBLE.

13:00 THAT'S AWESOME.

13:01 THANK YOU VERY much for doing that, guys.

13:02 You guys are incredible.

13:03 Um, so anyway, we have two PCs we're giving away today.

13:06 I'm really excited about this.

13:08 Both of them Arctic.

13:09 Um, one is 245K.

13:11 And this one, guys, we're talking about an incredible system.

13:14 Actually, why don't we show the parts list for the build real quick and then

13:17 we'll we'll go through this cuz this is what we're going to be giving away.

13:20 So, this is going to be an Intel Core Ultra 7270K Plus.

13:23 It's got an ASRock Intel Core Ultra 2 Z890 Steel Legend uh motherboard.

13:28 We have the Azeroth um Steel Legend B850 uh GPU.

13:32 Uh Gen 5 1 TB NVME drive from Kingston.

13:35 Uh Crucial Pro DDR5 32 gigs of RAM.

13:38 We have the Fractal Epoch in white.

13:40 The Trikes Tourist, which is that I love that AIO.

13:44 And then we have the Fractal Ion uh 1,000 watt PSU.

13:48 Um which So somebody's saying no 1,00 no.

13:51 Why a 1000 watt?

13:52 Because believe it or not, Fractal,

13:54 huge shout out to them for sending us the epoch.

13:56 They only had a thousand watt in white.

13:58 So that was like they were like we want it to be white.

13:59 So this just means you can upgrade it.

14:01 And you know now you can do 270K with whatever is new.

14:04 You know what I mean?

14:04 I'll take it.

14:05 I mean dude who's gonna complain?

14:06 I know.

14:07 I was like 1,000 power.

14:07 I was like sure.

14:09 Oh no.

14:10 Oh no.

14:11 No.

14:12 Yeah.

14:12 So anyway guys, we got that one.

14:13 Plus we have the one from 2 weeks ago.

14:15 Um which was an absolutely stunner of a PC.

14:18 Again, 245K with the RCV580.

14:20 Dude, you were so stoked about that one.

14:23 You love the way it looked.

14:25 Um, so two incredible builds we're giving away today and again 18 have to be

14:29 a US resident and then you have to uh you have to love bananas.

14:32 I think love bananas.

14:33 I mean the other thing is you have to figure

14:34 out how long can you hold the banana over your head.

14:36 So you make sure you give us your number cuz you know it takes

14:39 a lot of skill posture so that way you can just keep the banana.

14:42 So just as long a banana there will work.

14:44 So I don't understand.

14:45 Tun says please read this chat and then he

14:47 just put something afterwards that doesn't make any sense.

14:49 So I'm I'm just hoping that but I did see the chat.

14:52 So there you go.

14:52 Does a banana hat count?

14:54 Yes, you can make it count on really well.

14:58 I mean, it's posture.

14:58 It's like the perfect curvature for your head.

15:01 It's AI.

15:03 So, anyway, we should probably get So, uh by So far,

15:06 we're already way off course with this with the show.

15:09 Like Matt's just laughing cuz he's like,

15:11 we're never going to get through this show.

15:12 Yeah, it'll be quick.

15:14 We got We got some good news we can uh jump off of and then from there,

15:17 we're really just gonna jump off of anybody.

15:19 So, my mic is not broken.

15:21 What is wrong?

15:22 My mic looks fine.

15:22 I think yours is pretty consistent from when it started out.

15:26 Oh, I I already did the push-ups.

15:27 Yeah, he already did.

15:28 He Yeah.

15:28 So, let's talk about Let's talk about news.

15:30 Let's bring up the first one because

15:32 you wanted to add some additional information.

15:34 This was something we actually covered last week.

15:36 Yes, we did.

15:37 Right.

15:37 So, uh pre-ompiled shaders, one of the things that honestly people are stoked

15:41 about because like especially for games like Borderlands 4,

15:43 that can take a long time.

15:45 So, what is new and uh what what are we excited about here?

15:48 Well, I mean uh it's not new,

15:49 but something additional information that we wanted to add here.

15:52 it was that I mean yes it is a for battle mage so we

15:56 have the for the B6 the arc uh B580s RB560s uh but it also is

16:02 for the for the lunar lake platforms and also

16:04 for the Panther Lake platforms is also supported

16:06 in there so you guys keep an eye on that not just for the battle mage so

16:10 that is there something that is really cool and remember yes shaders uh you have

16:14 to compile shaders not only when you load

16:15 the game for the first time but also when

16:17 you're doing a drive uh you know there's some update in the game you still have

16:20 to go reload the shaders All that is just time that we want to save you.

16:23 And I think it's pretty cool.

16:24 I really like it.

16:26 Okay.

16:26 So,

16:26 the driver's out now.

16:27 So, you can get that and 13 games that are supported at this point.

16:30 So,

16:31 there's quite it's it's pretty interesting, right?

16:33 Because there's actually quite a few games that you can use

16:35 this on and then it's going to it's going to get better, right?

16:39 Is kind of the hope.

16:39 Yeah, it's going to get better.

16:40 And also for you guys like our our accidents,

16:42 you're asking about Crimson Desert.

16:44 Yes, we are out we are working with them right

16:46 now to make sure that we get everything up and running.

16:48 And yeah, there's actually been some good news out there for the past week.

16:51 So, we're going to get you guys there.

16:52 So, if you guys have an Arc uh video card

16:55 and you have a a Crimson Desert, here we go.

16:58 Just hold on tight.

16:59 Just give us a little bit of time.

16:59 We're going to get there.

17:01 But guys, there it is right there.

17:03 Crimson Desert.

17:04 Uh I'm just making sure that I'm not overly volume there.

17:08 I don't This doesn't seem This knob doesn't seem to do anything.

17:11 Maybe that knob's doing something.

17:12 It's okay.

17:12 Don't worry.

17:12 It only took us like a year to get my mic right at home.

17:14 So,

17:16 so yeah.

17:16 I know.

17:17 It's like the thing is is that like I got I got him fixed.

17:20 How does that sound?

17:20 Do I sound better?

17:22 He's not far away right now.

17:24 Okay.

17:24 Does it now?

17:24 How about that?

17:25 You're better.

17:26 Okay.

17:26 G.

17:27 Okay.

17:27 So, here's the deal, guys.

17:29 It runs on Arc now.

17:31 Well, it it it runs runs on Arc.

17:34 It launches.

17:35 It launches.

17:36 It launches on AR.

17:37 It launches on Arc.

17:38 Okay, that's improvement

17:39 which was before it would just say not supported, but now it does launch.

17:43 the the the fine folks over at um over at uh Yeah, Pearl Abyss.

17:48 Thank you very much.

17:49 Sorry, I've been SO FOCUSED ON GETTING THE AUDIO RIGHT.

17:52 Uh the fine folks over at Pearl Abyss um we're uh we're we're we're are in it.

17:57 They're working on it.

17:57 All that sort of stuff.

17:58 So, yes,

17:59 we're working on together.

18:00 So, and it's going to be Yeah,

18:01 it's going to be a handshake and like work together kind of thing because

18:05 like dev has to do a lot of work now that they're actually supporting it.

18:08 The Intel team is going to be working on their drivers.

18:10 So once those all mesh together, that's how things

18:12 we'll definitely keep you posted on all the news as we always do here at

18:17 late in life.

18:17 I mean the good thing is is that we're on frequently enough, right,

18:20 that you can like pretty you you we we can give you regular updates.

18:24 That's the best thing about it, right?

18:25 So like if you want to know like I think it was funny because we got off

18:29 of the show and people had asked like yeah

18:31 we're aware and you said Intel's working on it.

18:33 Literally like the next day they were like,

18:36 "Okay, we've un like you can launch it now.

18:38 It's not running great." But point is they're engaged, right?

18:41 So, we try to give you guys the information as quick as absolutely possible.

18:44 So, and by Zenude, man, 10 gifted subs, dude.

18:47 We're at level seven.

18:49 YES.

18:49 OH MY GOSH, WE'RE ALMOST We could have hit level eight, but dude, who cares?

18:52 I I'm just

18:53 We're going to get there.

18:55 I'm happy it's there.

18:56 Thank you very much for all the the awesome stuff, guys.

18:58 You guys are incredible.

18:59 Uh that was 60 subs that you guys just gave away.

19:01 So, thank you very much, man.

19:02 appreciate it.

19:03 Really appreciate you guys.

19:04 Um, okay.

19:05 So, yeah, that's that's uh I think we we've pretty much beat that to death.

19:09 We we've left that in the desert,

19:11 but but now we're going to rehydrate and we're going to be

19:13 talking about the launch of the Intel Arc Pro B series.

19:17 I know.

19:17 So, let's uh bring that one up for you there.

19:19 Here it is, guys.

19:20 Intel Arc B series graphics card.

19:22 So, these are the pro.

19:24 These are the pro.

19:25 This is the pro.

19:25 So, this isn't something where, you know, if you're going to go out there,

19:28 who are the folks who usually buy these cards?

19:29 So this is for the guys uh for like

19:32 engineers or developers you want to do out there.

19:34 This is pretty much for a pro card for Roning AI inference locally, right?

19:38 This that's why you have this 32 GB of RAM in that car to be able to load all

19:42 those big LLMs or the bigger models in there

19:44 and be able to uh to load them and run them.

19:47 Uh sorry, I'm so excited right now that I'm just running over my words.

19:50 But yes, I should not have four copies of espresso this morning.

19:53 Don't do it.

19:54 not a good um but uh yes so that is

19:57 for the for inference local inference and we're very excited uh it just launched

20:01 and yeah it is definitely for uh for for those people who

20:05 are developers engineers all that who want to work on local inference AI

20:09 and the thing that's so crazy about this is like all in all the one thing

20:12 that I remember especially when you guys launched it

20:14 was the B50 right wasn't the first the so

20:17 the thing was that card was pretty inexpensive

20:19 so it was a nice entry- level card

20:20 for folks who were wanting to get

20:22 into this and so would this beactly for more mid-range businesses,

20:25 all that sort of stuff.

20:26 Like when we think about people who this might this car might be for.

20:29 Yeah.

20:29 So that those are the people that we're thinking about the card is for.

20:32 Uh we announced it the first time we

20:34 announced it was last year at Computex and yeah,

20:38 now it's here and now we're ready to to give it to the public.

20:40 So you can actually go out there and play with it,

20:42 which well play and work with it because I think we think it's pretty great.

20:45 It's definitely a great option out there in the market.

20:48 Yeah.

20:48 Then that's crazy, right?

20:49 like looking through this cuz you guys have like,

20:51 you know, just looking on the page here.

20:53 Uh we have like the B you have the B65, the B70, the B60,

20:57 and then there was the B50, the one that we remember back then.

21:01 It was tiny.

21:02 It's tiny.

21:02 It's tiny, you know.

21:03 It's like it's like a was it called Mighty Mouse

21:05 for those who were born back in the day in the Gen Gen X era.

21:09 Yeah, there we go.

21:10 Mighty Mouse or the atomic ant.

21:12 So, there we go.

21:13 Um okay.

21:14 Uh well then I think the next thing

21:17 on the agenda is you're going to talk about this Alex.

21:20 Yes.

21:20 I'm going to give a quick intro.

21:23 Go ahead.

21:24 He he just he just completely went away cuz uh we're going to be talking about

21:28 today actually the star of the show today is the Intel Core Ultra 200 uh plus.

21:33 Yes.

21:33 And as you guys know uh we launched this product.

21:36 The news came out at the beginning of March or I think it was March 11.

21:39 And then yes, this week uh all the all the reviews were released,

21:44 all the performance reviews and actually you guys were able

21:46 to take a look at the reviews and then yesterday,

21:49 if I recall correctly, yesterday you can actually go out and buy it.

21:52 So that's pretty cool cuz you actually get the reviews first,

21:54 make a judgment for yourself what you want to do, and then go get it.

21:57 So we launch uh two SKs for the desktop.

22:00 Yes, for the desktop.

22:01 Oh, actually we also launched two SKs for the for the mobile.

22:05 Uh today we're going to be talking about desktop.

22:06 So we're going to be building this bad boy with uh 270k plus.

22:11 Uh that is one push-up.

22:13 You guys uh keep that in mind.

22:14 Uh Matt, that we got to do here shortly.

22:16 So yes.

22:17 So I'm keeping to lose track of how many times you guys say it.

22:19 Like it'll be within 5% margin, I think.

22:22 Okay.

22:22 Yeah, that's that's fine.

22:23 Just don't tell me like halfway through the show is like,

22:25 "Alex, you have 200 push-ups." And

22:27 yeah, then you'll just leave early.

22:29 And I I get that.

22:30 Uh yes.

22:31 Okay.

22:31 So there's a question in there.

22:32 Is there going to be a 290K uh plus?

22:34 No, we are not going to be having a 290K Plus.

22:36 We're just going to be having the Intel Core Ultra

22:39 7 270K and the Intel Core Ultra 5 uh to 250K.

22:45 Uh these guys uh come with additional uh ecores in there.

22:49 Each one of them have come with the four more ecores.

22:52 Also, the internal uh well the internal frequency, the non-core frequencies,

22:56 so the die to die frequency has increased to 900 MHz.

22:59 So, and there's other changes that I cannot tell you because the intel police

23:03 will come and get me and tackle me and we don't want to do that.

23:05 But yes, there's a lot of changes that we've done.

23:07 I think this is pretty cool.

23:08 And as you guys have seen with the different reviews,

23:10 uh they are uh yeah, go and see what you see.

23:13 But overall has been an overwhelmingly great uh

23:17 welcome by you and also by everybody else.

23:19 And we're very happy to have this product.

23:20 We're very proud.

23:21 It is definitely uh you know the team worked

23:24 really hard to to bring this to you guys

23:26 and and we're just very happy and we're very

23:28 happy we're gonna be able to build this bad boy.

23:32 So Matt, I owe some stuff.

23:35 Uh just give me just be nice.

23:38 Don't don't don't kill me with the number.

23:40 You don't want to know the number?

23:41 I could give you the number where it stands right now.

23:45 Okay, let me see.

23:46 Do I need to do 10 and that cover?

23:48 No, not 50.

23:52 Now you're at about 16.

23:53 I'm in 16.

23:54 All right.

23:54 So, I'll do I'll do 10 to I'll do 10 and then and then we'll go from there.

23:59 How about How about that?

24:00 That sounds good.

24:00 Yeah.

24:01 Do you guys want to count with me or do you would you

24:03 guys want me to do the easy button or just just do completely correctly?

24:08 All right.

24:09 I didn't get to hear.

24:10 Well, let me see.

24:11 Well, I'll do the easy button this time.

24:12 All right.

24:12 Let's go with proper form.

24:14 Keep your arm straight all the way down the ground.

24:18 Attach chest.

24:18 Touch of the easy button.

24:20 That was easy.

24:21 That was easy.

24:22 That was easy.

24:23 That was easy.

24:24 That was easy.

24:25 That was easy.

24:26 That was easy.

24:27 That was easy.

24:28 That was easy.

24:29 That was easy.

24:30 Don't forget to breathe, which I forgot to breathe.

24:33 That'll make it a little bit more difficult.

24:34 But yeah, so that was 10.

24:36 So, how are you guys six?

24:37 Let's put that in the bank.

24:40 You never seen Robbie in the floor.

24:43 Well, we're going to probably make you do some air squats.

24:45 That'll be something interesting.

24:46 I mean work ring.

24:49 Oh, say that again, Matt.

24:50 Burpees.

24:50 Maybe.

24:53 Burpees.

24:53 Even though yesterday we said we wouldn't do burpees,

24:55 but hey, maybe we'll do burpees.

24:57 Maybe.

24:57 Maybe we'll do some burpees cuz burpees.

24:59 Everybody loves burpees.

25:00 Everybody who loves burpees say uh press F for the win.

25:04 For respect for burpees.

25:08 Oh no.

25:09 I think Robbie Robbie has been doing a great

25:11 job uh with his health with exercise routine.

25:14 I think he's doing amazing and he's it's a journey.

25:17 He never stops.

25:17 He always keeps going.

25:19 There's a lot of people who like burpees.

25:20 Okay, you guys should join us that got stuck.

25:24 All right.

25:25 So, yes.

25:25 So, we have that those processors we're going to be doing

25:27 the build and let me see if we have our guest ready here.

25:35 Give me a second.

25:37 I am going to break all the things that that Robie has over here.

25:45 All right.

25:47 Breaking things.

25:49 Uh, nope.

25:50 I'm not going to break things.

25:51 So, I'm just going to wait to to do that.

25:54 All right.

25:55 So, so, as we're saying, we're going to have here uh a couple of guests in here.

26:01 And we also would like to we're going to ask them some questions,

26:04 but also want to keep you guys in mind to see uh

26:07 what questions you guys have that we can actually uh bring to them.

26:10 anything that you might have that comes to to your mind.

26:13 So, I don't understand you.

26:14 Were you supposed to do set push-ups for every one of those pluses?

26:20 Yes, but I didn't see them.

26:22 They're on the VOD.

26:22 They'll be on the VOD for sure.

26:24 Well, you you you heard you heard Matt saying

26:28 I actually heard Matt laughing the entire time.

26:30 No, he said something about burpees.

26:31 It was so funny.

26:32 Oh, burpees would be brutal.

26:35 So, sorry about that.

26:37 Uh, somebody got trapped.

26:41 That's a I got literally I literally got a call out of like Did you untrap them?

26:47 Untapped them and then came out.

26:48 It's a trap.

26:49 Yeah.

26:49 Yeah.

26:49 So, for folks who don't know,

26:50 I am uh close to my home and so somebody was literally trapped

26:54 uh the way that they and so I had to go let them out.

26:56 So, sorry about that.

26:57 I can't get out.

26:58 Wow.

26:58 It's so So, so you got you got A WORKOUT, TOO, HUH?

27:00 I DID.

27:00 I DID.

27:01 I did.

27:01 Yeah.

27:01 I'm just going to start doing my start getting myself off.

27:04 Please stop saying my mic's off.

27:06 Oh, my mic may actually be off.

27:07 Yeah, there you go.

27:08 Okay, there it was.

27:09 It really was off.

27:10 Okay.

27:10 Wow, that one was that was real.

27:12 Um, yeah.

27:13 So, anyway, person's unstuck.

27:15 Brenda is free.

27:16 Um, and we're we're good to go.

27:18 And I've turned my mic back on.

27:20 Okay.

27:21 It was It was But anyway, you still have to do push-ups.

27:23 Just kidding.

27:24 I I do have I still have six more to do, but let's

27:27 How many did you have to do?

27:28 I did 10.

27:30 Okay.

27:30 So, and you you did like 10 before the show.

27:32 Yeah.

27:32 So, it's 20.

27:33 You're at No.

27:33 And then you did six just like three just before that.

27:37 Yeah.

27:37 It just has the button, dude.

27:38 How many?

27:40 It's going to be It's going to be a lot.

27:41 It's going to be a lot of push-ups today.

27:43 I'd say that tomorrow's rest day.

27:44 Okay.

27:44 Yeah, tomorrow's rest day for sure.

27:46 Okay.

27:47 So, we've gone through We've gone through uh

27:49 Yeah, we gone through it.

27:50 We gone through this.

27:50 So, I think we're we're about we're talking about parts, right, Matt?

27:53 Isn't that the next the next thing on here?

27:55 Ready to start getting things like pretty

27:56 much unboxed and we're building with it.

27:59 Well, we're starting with this, bro.

28:02 Yes.

28:02 We're starting with this right here.

28:03 So, this is going to be the the CPU.

28:05 There's too many stuff in there.

28:06 Oh, it's okay.

28:07 I'm No, no, you're good.

28:07 You're going to throw MY WORK COMPUTER.

28:10 IT THROWS IT out the window.

28:11 Luckily, we have it out the window.

28:12 But we're going to start with this right here.

28:13 This is the Intel Core Ultra 7270K Plus.

28:19 I see I see why you

28:21 ACTUALLY.

28:21 NO, I LIKE I'M like I'm like literally flinching a little

28:25 bit cuz I feel bad every time I say it though.

28:29 Yes.

28:28 Yeah.

28:28 But with the 270K Plus,

28:30 the cool thing about it is that um they've added a lot of pluses to it.

28:34 Um, so they have uh they they there's

28:37 there's plus for the fabric that goes through it.

28:39 There's also um there's a there's um a slight plus to the overall clock speed.

28:44 Um

28:45 you know, Matt has to count all these, right?

28:48 Yeah.

28:48 Yep.

28:49 Y a few to there.

28:52 But anyway, it's I mean they just really plused up

28:54 and I think that's the part that's super impressive about this.

28:57 Um and I'm just really excited about it.

28:58 So anyway, we're going to be using that.

29:00 Um plus we have some other parts that we're

29:01 going to put putting in there as well.

29:03 You can say in addition.

29:04 Oh yeah, this is a good point.

29:05 That's a good point.

29:06 So, uh, in addition to the parts we're putting in this, uh,

29:10 we're going to use a actually a little

29:11 bit of a different motherboard here today.

29:13 This is the ASRock Z890 Steel Legend Wi-Fi.

29:17 Um, so this does support the new Plus CPUs as well, which I think is great.

29:29 You know, the funny part is that one actually was not intended.

29:33 Yeah, it wasn't LIKE BUT NOW EVERY TIME I say it,

29:34 I just look at you and I feel really bad.

29:37 Um, yeah.

29:38 And then guys, if you're going to spam giveaway, guys, unfortunately,

29:41 we are going to have to do stuff like start timing people out,

29:43 which may means if we do actually do do a real one,

29:46 you would probably end up losing out,

29:47 which I don't I mean, I'm thinking they're probably bought, so it's whatever.

29:50 It's just fine.

29:51 Um anyway, so we have a really really cool system,

29:54 right, uh that we're going to be doing here.

29:55 Great motherboard.

29:56 Um and again, uh we've actually used a number of them because the main

29:59 reason we do uh we chose ASRock is because we love this GPU.

30:03 This is the ASRock uh B580.

30:06 It's just a it's it's just a beautiful GPU.

30:08 And the thing is is that we got Steel Legend and Steel Legend.

30:12 So together Yeah.

30:13 Yeah.

30:13 Yeah.

30:14 It's like a It's like a It's like a pair.

30:16 It's like steel plus steel.

30:18 Yes, that's right.

30:18 It is steel plus steel.

30:19 That's a GOOD POINT.

30:20 YEAH.

30:20 WAIT, NO, IT'S NOT.

30:22 NO, IT'S STEEL IN ADDITION to steel.

30:24 It's steel together.

30:25 Hey, Matt, are you trying to round out what you're trying to do?

30:28 I don't know, man.

30:29 That was my one.

30:29 That was

30:30 That was That was his one.

30:31 Yeah.

30:31 Yeah.

30:31 It's a really, really nice build.

30:33 I mean, I just All in all, it's going to look really good.

30:35 And I just think that honestly,

30:36 if you want to do something that really pluses up the look of this whole thing,

30:39 it's this right here.

30:40 It's the tourist.

30:41 This thing right here.

30:43 This is I mean, this is an air cooler plus for sure.

30:46 I mean, it is I mean, look at the screen on this thing.

30:48 It's amazing, right?

30:50 when you really want plus size ice cream.

30:51 Yeah, it's a Dude, you did that to yourself on that one.

30:58 You should like I should have never done this.

31:01 By the way, not only do we have the This is easy, we also have the dad joke one

31:05 today.

31:05 My son asked, "Can I have a bookmark?" And I burst into tears.

31:08 11 years old and he still doesn't know my name is Brian.

31:14 Oh man, that one's good.

31:15 Okay, so anyway, Fractal Fractal Tourist, the trikes tourist.

31:18 So again, huge shout out to them

31:19 for sponsoring uh and sending us parts for this.

31:21 It's going to be an absolutely beautiful build.

31:23 And then uh dude, Gen 5 NVME.

31:29 Nice.

31:28 Gen 5 NVME.

31:29 We've tasted this a number of times.

31:31 I'm hoping this one's going to taste better.

31:32 I'm going to let you like this.

31:34 The good thing is I'm here and I can actually stop from tasting.

31:37 No, you got to try it this time.

31:40 You have to try it this time.

31:41 I'm fasting today.

31:42 Yeah, I'm fasting today.

31:43 Yeah, after all those push-ups, man.

31:46 I mean, you know, plus we want our both

31:48 of our we want both of our opinion on that, right?

31:50 Yeah.

31:51 Exactly.

31:53 Yeah.

31:53 We want to we want to plus up this build with more legs.

31:55 Is a very good bouquet.

31:57 Yeah.

31:57 Exactly.

31:58 And then we have 32 gigs of crucial DDR5 RAM

32:00 which is going to look stupendous in there as well.

32:03 Um and uh yeah, and then lastly, we have a 1000 watt PSU.

32:07 There it is.

32:08 There it is.

32:08 1,000 watts.

32:10 So, I mean, when you're ready to plus up your build,

32:12 you are going to be good to go, right?

32:14 For sure.

32:15 So, we got 1,000 watts and NVME mukbang.

32:19 Oh my gosh, that would be so gross.

32:21 Um, let me just start with this.

32:23 And it's Yeah, and the PC is giving away.

32:25 Yeah, it's done live.

32:26 Yeah, it's done.

32:26 So, anyway, it's going to be an absolutely stunning build.

32:28 And then, of course, I love this case.

32:30 We've actually built in it before.

32:32 I reached out to Fractal cuz the epoch is just it's a beautiful case.

32:35 Um, it's and so all in all, like this is going to look great either

32:38 somebody who wants to have the gamer vibes and have all the RGB or you could

32:42 actually have like something like clean on your desk.

32:44 Just turn it off and it's going to look it's going to look good.

32:47 Blur.

32:47 Unfortunat blur.

32:47 Yeah, I knew you were going to say that.

32:49 Um, unfortunately, you cannot win this one.

32:52 Yeah, we said I was 3 years old.

32:53 You got to be over 18.

32:54 Yeah, you got to be over 18, right?

32:56 Um, but you know, and maybe if you do

32:58 all the push-ups from all the pluses we've said,

33:00 we might let you be eligible.

33:02 Matt.

33:03 Matt.

33:03 You shouldn't say you need to be 18 plus.

33:05 You need to be 18 plus to get

33:09 the most natural way to say it.

33:12 Blur plus now.

33:13 Blur.

33:14 It's not blurp.

33:15 It's blur plus.

33:16 Yeah.

33:17 Um, but anyway, this is going to look really, really good.

33:19 Really excited about this.

33:20 And like for now, what what are you thinking, Matt?

33:23 How many we have?

33:24 I Oh my gosh, dude.

33:25 It's a lot.

33:26 Probably like I should.

33:28 We're nearing 30.

33:29 We're nearing 30.

33:30 Nearing 30.

33:30 How many have you done?

33:31 Uh, no.

33:32 Let's not count that.

33:34 Let's not The past is in the back.

33:35 You know, you leave your behind in the past.

33:38 I think that's I don't think that's what that I

33:40 don't think that's mean what you think it means.

33:43 Anyway, guys, it is this is definitely going to be a stunning build.

33:46 Really excited about it.

33:47 And uh you know what I mean?

33:49 This could be and if you already have a PC,

33:51 you could give this to your plus one.

33:53 You know,

33:55 we're now at 30.

33:57 And and Matt is like, "Yay, 30.

34:02 Yay.

34:03 30.

34:03 Well, actually, yeah.

34:04 One of the things is like I mean,

34:05 you guys probably already know it is that uh Yeah,

34:07 this guy is in the same stocking as the Z890.

34:09 Oh, I mean it's a refresh.

34:11 Look at that.

34:11 I said refresh instead of Yeah, I know.

34:13 I didn't I'm not going to say it.

34:14 I I'm I'm happy with 30.

34:16 I'm Dude, I don't want to go above that, man.

34:18 I need you to live.

34:20 I need you to make it through the end.

34:21 Yeah.

34:21 He's like go to the interview.

34:23 He's all He's like The thing is is like,

34:25 yeah, we still have some important people to interview.

34:27 Um once we are done with Aaron and Robert, everything is free.

34:30 At that point in time, we be like, "He can even It's open for the chat."

34:33 Yeah.

34:34 Yeah.

34:34 We'll leave it open to the chat.

34:35 Every time they put Every time they pay plus, then you have to do a push-up.

34:39 There we go.

34:39 How many pluses can we get, guys?

34:44 No, don't don't don't get it started.

34:46 Oh my gosh.

34:48 Uh, guys, we we've been pretty clear about that and all.

34:50 Oh wow.

34:55 Oh.

34:55 Oh, minus.

34:55 We got one away.

34:56 Oh, there's only one.

34:57 OH MY.

34:59 OH.

34:59 OH.

35:01 I mean, it it's it's a little sad cuz then

35:03 you you know you when your family is trolling you.

35:07 Oh my gosh.

35:09 You're going to die.

35:11 Sad.

35:11 He died.

35:12 Yeah.

35:12 Yeah.

35:13 Roy's got it doing with him.

35:15 I I'll do one.

35:17 Oh my gosh.

35:17 Look at King.

35:18 King's over there doing King's just like, "You know what?

35:22 Sorry, my key is stuck."

35:28 Uh submissions allowed.

35:28 Yes, thank you.

35:29 Oh my gosh, that was still a lot.

35:31 I mean, a lot of people I got to give I got to give our community a a big

35:35 um a big round of applause and love because

35:38 I think it's pretty cool that people are into it,

35:40 you know, more than anything.

35:41 And I think it's also really neat that Alex is willing

35:43 to sacrifice his body for the the sake of your entertainment.

35:48 I mean, you know, you just got to keep you guys here.

35:51 I think it's fun.

35:51 It's it's healthy fun.

35:53 It is healthy fun.

35:54 That is true

35:54 to some extent.

35:56 And then when you have a just like

36:01 okay let's time for okay diet tribe time guys no ESD strap

36:05 DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW much static electricity you have to generate I

36:11 AM NOT ON A SHAG carpet guys we're not like all in all

36:15 like this is like we're on a special surface we don't need

36:20 I mean it's it's fine like I can even

36:22 lick it there you go see no problem It's fine.

36:27 It's good.

36:29 Okay.

36:29 Anyway, I just want to let you guys know I'll do a Yeah, that dude.

36:33 Araxis, that was good.

36:38 Yeah.

36:38 Plus, I can lick it.

36:39 Exactly.

36:40 There we go.

36:41 Yeah.

36:41 Oh, dang.

36:41 No, I want 30.

36:42 I need it to be even.

36:43 So, I have to come up with nine more.

36:46 Yeah.

36:46 I'm going to You unbox it.

36:48 I'm going to go do 10.

36:51 I'm just going to do 10 over here.

36:53 How many?

36:53 Okay.

36:53 How many What's the most I shouldn't do this with a knife in my hand.

36:56 Uh, what is the most I'm just like going like this.

36:59 I'm not used to having another human in here.

37:02 You know what I mean?

37:02 I don't want I don't want Yeah, exactly.

37:04 Yeah.

37:05 Um, how how many push-ups have you done in a single session before?

37:08 So, Marine Corps PRT, you have to do a 100 push-ups

37:12 in like to pass the Marine Corps PRT, right?

37:14 So, that's like a hundred.

37:15 And they actually like you have a drill sergeant making sure you're doing

37:18 and the Marines I mean that's that what I was doing is standard.

37:21 Yeah, the standard Marine Corps.

37:22 Yeah.

37:22 So, I'm just saying, can you like we're at 40 now?

37:24 I can do 100.

37:25 I can do the four.

37:26 I can I can do the 40.

37:28 I can You guys are going to see me struggle before,

37:31 dude.

37:31 I mean, that's it's it's impressive.

37:33 I I'll tell I'll tell you what.

37:34 I'll do 10 of them.

37:35 So, you can have So, then you'll do 30.

37:37 Okay.

37:38 Okay.

37:38 So, I'll do 10 and then we'll see how that goes.

37:40 I don't know.

37:41 It's been a while.

37:41 Well, no.

37:42 I do push-ups actually quite a bit,

37:43 but I like now I'm a little nervous cuz I've never publicly

37:45 done push-ups and you you look way more fit than I do.

37:48 AND I'M I'M DOWN LIKE 48 and a half pounds, right?

37:51 So, But I like I I don't pretend to be that crazy.

37:55 I still wear an anti-static wrist strap.

37:57 Well, kayas, I have built, let me see.

38:00 I have built 11 almost 1,200 PCs and I have yet to have one go because of that.

38:07 So, yeah.

38:08 10 net you a brain freeze.

38:11 Okay.

38:11 Anyway, so I'll do 10.

38:12 I'll do my 10.

38:13 Let's just get my 10.

38:14 Let me put this back together.

38:15 Let me get my 10.

38:16 Let's see how it is.

38:16 I don't I'm going to try and do them with the easy button.

38:18 You don't have to do it with the easy button.

38:19 I'm going to do it with the easy button.

38:20 Let's just try this.

38:20 Here we go.

38:21 Here we go.

38:21 Okay.

38:22 Here we go.

38:22 We're going to put it down.

38:23 All right.

38:24 Just Just one one at a time.

38:26 One at a time.

38:26 Here we go.

38:26 Here we go.

38:27 You don't have to do all the same.

38:28 Just when you go to commercial break and then you're just like, "Oh, yeah.

38:30 I totally exactly commercial." And they come back.

38:34 It's like 200.

38:36 Cut it.

38:36 Cut it.

38:37 Just Just come back and just see this.

38:40 Okay.

38:40 Here we go.

38:41 Here we go.

38:43 There you go.

38:44 There you go.

38:45 I'm hitting it.

38:46 There, man.

38:48 Yes.

38:49 Yes.

39:03 Wow.

39:07 Wow.

39:07 Holy moly.

39:08 Jeez.

39:10 Jesus.

39:10 There we go.

39:12 Those are good push-ups.

39:13 Okay.

39:13 Yeah, I did.

39:14 Those were actually good push-ups.

39:16 Those were really good push-ups.

39:17 I was really impressive.

39:18 I was not.

39:19 I pushed That's right.

39:20 I was cheating.

39:20 I wasn't push I was pushing the earth down.

39:23 I'm like Chuck Norris.

39:25 Now that Chuck Norris has gone to a part.

39:27 I will say I used to not be able to do them at all.

39:29 So I'm actually pretty proud of that.

39:31 I'm pretty impressed cuz I know it's a good

39:32 form and you actually do it like that.

39:34 Bringing it all but I couldn't hit the button.

39:37 My belly kept hitting it first.

39:38 Right.

39:39 So still

39:40 Well, we can we can adjust for that.

39:41 We'll adjust for it for the But I gave you I took 10 away.

39:44 Yeah.

39:44 Okay.

39:44 So let me So I did So I did good.

39:46 I helped you.

39:46 You did good.

39:47 I got to I got the other.

39:48 So, why don't you unpack?

39:50 I'll I'll make it.

39:51 I'll make it.

39:51 I've been trying to open this this this uh CPU now for the last hour.

39:56 All right.

39:57 That was easy.

39:58 That was easy.

39:59 That was easy.

40:00 That was easy.

40:01 That was easy.

40:02 That was easy.

40:02 That was easy.

40:03 That was easy.

40:04 That was easy.

40:05 That was easy.

40:06 That was easy.

40:07 That was easy.

40:08 That was easy.

40:08 That was easy.

40:09 That was easy.

40:10 That was easy.

40:12 That was easy.

40:13 That was easy.

40:14 That was easy.

40:14 One more cuz it didn't matter.

40:18 Easy.

40:18 Did I only Did I really only do six?

40:19 Somebody said I only did six.

40:22 I wasn't keeping track.

40:24 They were just like They were just like,

40:25 "Wow, I'm just impressed you did any." Okay.

40:27 Like even

40:29 Wow.

40:35 All right.

40:36 Okay.

40:36 That was a lot.

40:37 You and I have done our workout.

40:38 I still haven't opened the CPU.

40:40 I still have been trying to open the CPU.

40:43 We're making progress to not open the CPU.

40:46 I also counted eight.

40:47 Okay, so I did eight or two.

40:49 I counted eight.

40:50 Okay, I'll do two more here in a minute.

40:51 As soon I got to get the CPU out.

40:53 I don't want to rip this box.

40:56 I'm just looking at it here cuz I think this is a crystal oscillator.

41:01 Oscillator.

41:02 This one right here.

41:04 Oh, wow.

41:04 I think it's a You know,

41:06 that's what uh provides the clock, the base clock for your processor.

41:10 Okay, I'm going to go get an opened one.

41:15 What?

41:14 I don't want to rip the box.

41:16 I'm so strong.

41:18 Hey guys,

41:21 got to be one.

41:24 Luckily, I have more than one.

41:27 Luckily, I have more than one, so we're good.

41:29 Okay, just so people can see, here it is.

41:32 Intel Core Ultra 7 27K 270K Plus.

41:36 There it is right there.

41:39 Whoa.

41:39 Oh, did you see how fast it opened up?

41:40 There we go.

41:41 Oh, yeah.

41:42 Here we go.

41:42 We got another one.

41:43 Yeah.

41:43 So, I was saying that that that uh little that little oscillator over here.

41:48 Oscillator.

41:49 It's the one that provides the base clock

41:51 for your processor to generate all the other clocks.

41:54 So, the main clocks and the PCI clocks and the your RAM clocks.

41:58 It's a lot of clocks.

41:59 This is trying to kill me.

42:01 It was like It was like attacking me.

42:02 I'm just happy the knife is in fact in itself.

42:04 Yeah.

42:04 I know.

42:05 There we go.

42:05 I'm just glad you're not trying to kill me right now.

42:08 Okay, here we go.

42:08 Let's go ahead and get our Okay,

42:10 this is a got the nice little easy latch, right?

42:14 Oh, nice.

42:16 Peel.

42:17 Peel and peel.

42:18 Peel.

42:18 There we go.

42:19 There's a peel here, too.

42:21 Oh, there is.

42:21 You want to peel that one?

42:23 Yes.

42:23 Oh, let's You got to You got to have some of the joy today.

42:26 After you get that in, Robie, we have our first guest soon.

42:29 And then we have some partner we wanted to show, right?

42:32 Oh, yeah.

42:32 That's right.

42:32 So, we'll take a Okay, so what we'll do is we'll pull peel this.

42:35 I'll get the NVMe in real quick.

42:36 Luckily, there's Oh, dude.

42:37 Did you Did it not peel it?

42:40 It It in two.

42:41 I was I was I was getting a little nervous.

42:43 I was like, "No, peel two." Okay.

42:45 So, we're going to get our NVME in real quick.

42:54 Okay.

42:54 Now, come here.

42:56 Me?

42:56 Yeah.

42:56 You?

42:57 Oh, no.

42:58 I'm just telling you this tastes bad.

42:59 Look, you got to try it.

43:03 What is Just lick it.

43:04 Lick the Just lick the lick the Go ahead.

43:09 Actually, now it doesn't taste bad.

43:10 Oh, they did the wrong side.

43:11 Did they No.

43:12 Did you Did you It doesn't It does taste bad.

43:14 Did you Stop licking PC parts.

43:17 It does taste bad.

43:18 Maybe a little bad inside.

43:19 Maybe that's what it is.

43:20 That's so bad.

43:22 That was not good.

43:23 This is what you call peer pressure right here.

43:26 Yeah.

43:26 I don't think price really equates to taste for No, not for NVMEs.

43:31 I'm going to ask Kingston like if that's true.

43:33 Like maybe it is.

43:34 Maybe maybe we're missing out, right?

43:35 Like maybe if it's more if it's more expensive, it tastes better.

43:39 I mean, we're going to find out.

43:42 You just like you just like wine or any spirit, you know, right?

43:45 Okay, there we go.

43:45 So, that's done.

43:46 That's in.

43:48 There we go.

43:58 Come on.

43:58 Get down.

43:59 That was easy.

43:59 There you go.

44:00 There we go.

44:01 Got two more.

44:01 There we go.

44:03 had to get it.

44:04 I HAD TO I HAD TO GO LOWER.

44:05 IT WAS hitting more.

44:07 Okay, there we go.

44:10 So, let's throw this in and then we can do partner videos.

44:16 Yes, there we go.

44:16 I got 10.

44:16 It was not easy.

44:20 It was not easy.

44:20 You guys saw that.

44:21 I thought it was going to go faster than it did,

44:23 but then I got down and my muscles were like, "What are you doing?" Yeah.

44:26 That's called muscle fatigue.

44:28 Yeah.

44:33 Okay, there we go.

44:34 Motherboard at least done.

44:35 That is on track.

44:36 Now we're now Matt is happier.

44:38 But we have some videos to show, guys.

44:41 And so uh we these are some new videos.

44:43 You probably see them uh on

44:45 later on.

44:46 Later on and all that sort of stuff.

44:47 But here you go.

44:48 Check these out and we'll be well, let me turn the music off.

44:52 Turning the music off.

44:53 This is always the thing where we have so many working pieces here.

44:57 Okay, here we go.

44:58 You guys ready to have your minds blown?

45:01 Minds blown.

45:01 Here it goes.

45:07 Oh, full screen.

45:18 There they are.

45:20 That way.

45:25 No sound.

45:25 This will be a good time to do that.

45:27 How many push-ups left?

45:28 Yeah, you got a lot.

45:28 Yeah, it looks like they're not getting sound yet.

45:31 Oh, from where?

45:34 From the video.

45:35 We didn't have sound.

45:35 I see it.

45:36 I see it.

45:41 There it goes.

45:41 Beautiful.

46:04 Okay, cool.

46:07 There you go.

46:08 Main gear.

46:09 So, these are all of the things that you

46:10 can see and get right from our different partners.

46:13 Yes, these are all the different partners that are also,

46:15 you know, doing the launch with us.

46:17 and you actually get uh the the new processor uh that you

46:21 should probably know the suffix by now and uh actually go get it.

46:26 So there's all of us are here uh and we're

46:28 going to be talking to to a few of them.

46:29 So it's pretty cool to see like all the different systems,

46:32 all the different configurations that they have,

46:34 but this one you need to listen to.

46:36 Sorry, I'm going to see if I can get it.

46:37 Security clearance just to hear them.

46:40 It once calculated the last digit of pi and found it smelled of rich mahogany.

46:48 Its minimum frame rate is more than other PCs maximum frame rate.

46:54 It doesn't use a mouse.

46:56 The cursor moves out of pure respect.

47:00 Crisis asks it if it can play.

47:04 It's so powerful Google searches it.

47:09 Its USB ports are always right side up.

47:13 The Falcon Northwest Talon is the most interesting PC in the world.

47:21 I don't always render AI commercials, but when I do,

47:25 I use an Intel Core Ultra 200S Plus.

47:29 Render local reference.

47:34 Okay, that was that was it for that.

47:36 But there all in all guys,

47:38 those were the uh those were the those were the ones

47:40 the parent that was I just have to say good job Falcon Northwest.

47:44 That was actually that was actually pretty

47:45 No, good job.

47:45 And thanks to all our partners for sending that.

47:47 I think they they look amazing and yeah, it it's great.

47:50 So now you know guys that we have all these uh partners out there

47:54 that if you want to uh you know go through them for for for your PC,

47:58 for gaming PC, but you can go through them

48:00 and you also can you know build it on your own.

48:02 So try to see which one which one's better.

48:04 Yeah.

48:04 And all in all, like again, we have that was just four,

48:07 so we have another ones that we're going to watch later on.

48:09 Um, so really really appreciate it and hopefully

48:11 you guys enjoy see see something, right?

48:13 Like Thermal Thermal Rod made his appearance with Thermalt.

48:16 Yeah.

48:16 And then we have uh we we saw Stormcraft in there and then Stormcraft

48:20 Falcon Northwest and Mangar Mangar.

48:22 And then honestly like they're the uh the Mangar the MG systems.

48:26 They're main they're really really nice systems

48:28 and again every one of your partners like makes

48:30 incredible stuff and they're all excited and you're

48:32 going to hear from some of them directly.

48:34 Cyber Power, we're gonna have uh Skitec.

48:36 We have I by Power and and then we have somebody else.

48:41 Oh, NZXT.

48:41 NZXT.

48:42 NZXT.

48:42 Yeah.

48:43 Yeah.

48:43 So, Mike Mike from NZXT.

48:44 So, we have a number of people are going to get to talk about these things, too.

48:46 So, not only are you going to see some of uh the partners themselves,

48:49 but you actually get to talk to them

48:50 and they're they're excited about the offerings they have.

48:52 Yeah.

48:52 Yeah.

48:53 I mean, they're I think everybody's excited because

48:54 this is a like you guys have seen, this is a great part.

48:57 It brings a lot of performance and a lot of Yeah.

48:59 A lot of joy.

49:00 Brings a lot of joy to my heart.

49:01 Yep.

49:01 Uh so, yeah, everyone's very excited.

49:03 We're really excited about it.

49:04 So,

49:04 yeah, we have we not only do we have NZXT in the chat,

49:07 we also have uh we also saw I by Power was in the chat as well.

49:10 I'm sure at some point in time Kelt will be here

49:12 cuz he just loves to be in the chat all the time.

49:15 Um and then I don't know, Thermal Rob.

49:18 Oh, maybe Mike's here.

49:19 Maybe Thermal Rob is here.

49:21 Mike from

49:22 But that's Mike from NZXT.

49:23 But yeah, all in all,

49:24 they have a tendency to stop by our our show actually pretty regularly.

49:27 So, there's a good chance that they'll probably stop by at some point in time.

49:29 And then we Oh, we got Andrew from Fractals here.

49:32 Oh, there we go.

49:32 Yeah.

49:32 So, he's here checking out his case, which is also awesome.

49:36 He's not They didn't rip.

49:37 They're still here.

49:39 And there's Falcon Northwest.

49:41 Yeah, there it is.

49:41 Sup, C.

49:42 Yeah.

49:42 So, there we say they never miss a ROI chat except sometimes.

49:46 Sometimes.

49:46 Yeah, that's true.

49:47 That is Yeah, that's pretty funny.

49:49 Here's your 90% of the time.

49:54 Exactly.

49:54 So, it's good to actually have.

49:55 And people uh people uh thought yours was uh was funny, Kel.

50:00 So, good job.

50:01 Um, going from there.

50:02 Okay, so we have Robert coming up.

50:04 What?

50:04 In like allegedly 13 minutes.

50:07 13 minutes.

50:07 Allegedly.

50:08 What does that mean?

50:10 Well, I'm just being legally cautious.

50:14 Okay, so let's see if we can install

50:17 our cooler, our air cooler, cuz this thing is absolutely stunning.

50:21 So, let's see if we can get our air cooler installed in uh in 13 minutes.

50:25 Now, here, why don't you peel from that side?

50:27 I'll pull this one.

50:28 All right.

50:29 by the power.

50:31 There we go.

50:31 We did it.

50:33 Yes.

50:33 This is the uh made by By the way, this is made to be seen, not heard.

50:38 Oh, that actually that is pretty uh I like that.

50:40 I like that slogan.

50:42 This is the user manual and the accessories.

50:45 There we go.

50:47 This is like labeled for me.

50:48 Yeah, it is.

50:49 It's like It's really clear.

50:50 They were like They were like,

50:51 "How clear does it need to be for Alex?" Because

50:53 if we could do that, then everybody's going to be good.

50:57 There we go.

50:57 you know, since I'm 3 years old.

51:00 Well, you're 3 years plus for sure.

51:04 And here I thought I was making a dent on that.

51:10 Okay, here we go.

51:11 Woo.

51:13 That is going to be This is going to be one stunning.

51:15 It's going to be me.

51:16 It's going to be me.

51:18 It's almost You know what?

51:19 We're going to have to sing that when we

51:20 get to April cuz it's it's going to be May.

51:23 There we go.

51:24 It's coming up.

51:25 Boy bands back together.

51:26 There's the disembodied hand taking the uh

51:30 Okay.

51:30 Oh, yeah.

51:30 Successful.

51:31 Great.

51:31 Way to go.

51:32 All right.

51:32 Way to go.

51:33 There we go.

51:36 Yeah.

51:36 May May, we're going to be dressing as Justin Timberlake.

51:44 Yeah.

51:44 Whoa.

51:45 Whoa.

51:45 It's fine.

51:46 It's all fine.

51:46 We did it.

51:47 Don't Don't

51:47 I was just testing.

51:48 You gave me a fright.

51:49 Yeah.

51:49 I'm sorry.

51:50 You have plus fast reflexes.

51:53 Very flex.

51:55 I I finally get to see it close in person.

51:58 What do you think?

51:59 I I I love it.

52:00 It's nice, right?

52:01 It is really nice.

52:02 It is really nice.

52:02 Okay, we got to we got to finish this in 13

52:04 minutes or Robert will uh have words with you.

52:08 Oh, yes.

52:09 No pressure for me.

52:10 No.

52:10 No, you're you're not in this one.

52:13 Rumor is he likes me.

52:14 So, I mean like all in all, I feel like I'm going to be okay.

52:17 Yes.

52:17 Uh I'm going to do the difficult thing.

52:19 Oh, are you Oh, you did it.

52:21 Oh, here.

52:22 Here you go.

52:23 Okay.

52:23 Luckily, you got that one.

52:24 I had one job.

52:25 You had one job.

52:26 You're doing the difficult thing that you didn't accomplish.

52:29 There we go.

52:31 That was a fail.

52:33 That It was pretty funny, though.

52:34 Let's be honest.

52:35 It was pretty funny.

52:36 Oh my god.

52:36 I could even hit the Y side of a bar.

52:38 Are you okay?

52:39 No, I'm not.

52:40 You would tell me if you had a stroke, right?

52:43 It'll be a little difficult.

52:46 But I'll definitely I'll definitely do that.

52:48 This is a This is a beautiful air cooler, by the way.

52:51 It is.

52:51 And honestly, this time we actually have the software, so we're good there.

52:55 Hey, Ruby.

52:56 Yeah, don't forget.

52:56 Yeah.

52:56 Oh, thanks for reminding me.

52:58 Don't worry, I won't forget.

53:01 Make sure you also put it the right side up.

53:03 Thanks.

53:03 Thanks.

53:03 Peelgate 3.0.

53:05 There we go.

53:09 Uh, dude, everybody seems to really enjoy when

53:11 we do white builds here on the show.

53:15 Yes.

53:14 Hey, Leuentes, it's good afternoon to you, too.

53:17 Good afternoon.

53:18 Good to see you.

53:19 Well, read you.

53:24 Your air cooler is bre breathtaking.

53:27 We try we try we try to use quality stuff here on the show.

53:30 So I wonder what that QR4 is for.

53:34 Oh, you know that's a good question that Oh, where's your phone?

53:38 Handy dandy phone.

53:39 Here we go.

53:39 We're going to find out what the QR

53:40 code I wonder if it opens the uh instructions.

53:43 Oh, I thought you were going to say like a portal to another universe.

53:48 Okay, so we got that in here.

53:50 And then we want the CPU in the middle.

53:51 There it is.

53:52 Uh, please try again.

53:54 Dude, that would be funny if it goes to nothing.

54:00 I could just see I could just see the folks at Trikes GOING RIGHT NOW.

54:02 NO, don't scan it.

54:06 Oh, Squatchaholic.

54:08 That's actually a good question.

54:09 What was the question?

54:10 He says, "Do you guys have any other favorite

54:12 colors of PC builds besides white?" And then somebody asked,

54:16 "Did you change the color of your case to match your shirt?"

54:21 We're We're in sync.

54:22 You know,

54:25 Kelt, I really wish that you wouldn't age yourself like that so much, bro.

54:29 Says the air cooler is bigger than my first monitor.

54:33 Go CRT.

54:36 It weighs as much, too.

54:39 I mean, that those were used as a weapons back there.

54:41 You throw one of those monitors at someone.

54:43 Yeah, it is massive, but it it does a really good job.

54:47 It is, but it's beautiful.

54:48 And it has that screen that is just the right size.

54:53 It's ju I'm not going to say more than that.

54:57 We're We're going to let Matt take a break.

55:02 A break from counting.

55:04 Oh, I mean, you guys have actually been

55:06 on good behavior the last like 10 minutes.

55:08 I thought you were going to say the counter.

55:11 We've been on a good break.

55:12 Well,

55:13 well, I've been doing some research on Switzerland,

55:16 uh, but I don't know much about it.

55:18 I just know that their flag is a big plus.

55:25 Horrible.

55:25 Oo, this man.

55:29 We'll add it to the counter, though.

55:31 We'll add it to the counter, though.

55:32 What?

55:32 No.

55:33 Alex.

55:34 Alex.

55:34 Alex.

55:35 All right.

55:35 All right.

55:35 Yes.

55:36 Alex doesn't get a

55:37 That was smart.

55:37 That was really good.

55:39 It was a dad joke with a plus.

55:41 With a plus.

55:42 Yeah.

55:42 Dang it.

55:42 That's two more.

55:45 That uh Yeah, I'm going to have to say by next year, guys.

55:48 So, like first, like my first thing was just

55:50 to get to the point where I wasn't dying.

55:52 Now, I'll have to say by next year I have to be able to keep

55:54 up with Alex when we do our next whatever um plus CPU comes out two years ago.

55:59 I didn't have a bicep.

56:00 Yeah, that is true.

56:02 You didn't.

56:03 I remember that.

56:05 All right, let's get these out.

56:08 And then we literally push this fan Out of the way.

56:12 Out of the way.

56:14 Yeah.

56:14 And I think we'll be right on time

56:15 for our first guest after you get that on there.

56:18 There we go.

56:19 Oh, see.

56:19 Look at that.

56:21 Already.

56:21 Oh, wow.

56:22 I'm actually doing good.

56:25 Um, okay.

56:26 This is the way it goes.

56:27 I did peel this.

56:29 So, it is peeled.

56:30 It is peeled.

56:31 And we're He has a witness.

56:32 He has an AI witness.

56:35 Does that count?

56:36 He's the Alex intelligence witness.

56:39 Oh, give me the screwdriver.

56:40 The small one?

56:41 Yeah, the small one.

56:42 Oh, perfect.

56:44 This is my plus side screwdriver.

56:46 It's like there's this plus this plus this plus the whole thing over there.

56:53 Plus this.

56:53 That's like That's like five plus long screws.

57:01 Yikes.

57:00 No, it's not nice, man.

57:01 It's not.

57:05 You want me to hold it for you there?

57:07 Uh, no.

57:07 Oh, it's fine.

57:08 I'm good.

57:11 This is Jeff, right?

57:12 Yeah.

57:12 This is This is We actually completely average screwdriver completely.

57:16 That's Jeff and this Excalibur.

57:17 That's Excalibur.

57:22 There we go.

57:23 We're going to be Dude, look at this.

57:24 We're going to be right on time.

57:25 Oh my god.

57:27 I'm going to finish this and Robert's going to be on and ready to go.

57:30 He's going to be so excited.

57:32 Talk about the 270K Plus and all of the benefits that you get because of it.

57:36 And he just can't hide it.

57:39 Yep.

57:39 He's gonna I don't know, man.

57:41 And the other thing, too,

57:42 is like there's just been a lot of lot of really just good press about it,

57:45 too, which has been so cool.

57:47 Yeah.

57:47 I mean like like what we were talking about

57:49 earlier uh there's a lot of changes uh that you

57:52 know the team well definitely I mean not definitely

57:55 but the team like put a lot of work into it

57:56 and a lot of things and and make a lot

57:59 of changes and you just want to make sure that we

58:01 that we hit the right note on a lot of things

58:03 and yeah I mean got kudos to the whole team they they crushed it.

58:09 Yes.

58:09 Okay so we got this in this is going to go like this.

58:14 All right.

58:15 Where's the hammer?

58:15 Wow.

58:16 I didn't have to hammer it this time.

58:17 I know.

58:18 That was was pretty good.

58:19 And there we go, guys.

58:20 We actually got it installed.

58:22 Boom.

58:24 Boom.

58:24 And we just got to put just got to put this right here on top of it.

58:27 Look at Oh, maybe.

58:31 No.

58:31 Maybe Maybe next time I'm in here, I'm bring a shirt that says for position,

58:35 like FPO for those who are in marketing for position only.

58:39 Apparently there's a peel on the back of this.

58:40 There's a peel on the back.

58:46 Which way does it go?

58:47 No, it feels like it.

58:49 Yeah, the right way.

58:50 Yeah, but but it's not sitting right.

58:52 So, I must have done something wrong here.

58:55 It wouldn't go this way.

58:58 No.

58:57 No.

58:57 Oh, but it does go that way.

58:59 But it doesn't.

59:02 Did we really do Did I do this backwards?

59:05 Well, I guess I got to fix this while we're

59:07 while you're talking to Robert because I installed it upside down.

59:14 Good job.

59:15 You know, it's all that live it to the pros.

59:17 A lot of pressure there to get it to get it wrong.

59:20 You know, in his defense, uh, a lot of the blood is in his bicep right now.

59:24 So, it is.

59:25 It is.

59:26 It just It just Did I really, man?

59:29 I don't think so.

59:31 The box is uh Oh, yeah.

59:33 No, no, no.

59:33 You flip it the other way.

59:35 Keep it Keep Keep flipping it on the front.

59:36 No.

59:36 No.

59:37 There we go.

59:37 There we go.

59:38 Oh, yeah.

59:38 Yeah.

59:39 Yeah.

59:39 Totally backwards.

59:40 Totally backwards.

59:42 Perfect.

59:43 Is Robert on?

59:46 I'm back in the ranch.

59:48 Back in the ranch.

59:49 Let's make sure that we don't leave Robert waiting.

59:51 OH, HE'S HERE.

59:52 OH, he's here.

59:53 He's here.

59:54 He's here.

59:55 He's here.

59:56 Robert, can can you see the camera?

59:58 We can hear you, by the way.

1:00:01 Uh, I actually cannot see the camera.

1:00:03 Okay.

1:00:03 Well, let me just say first and foremost

1:00:04 that um I'm going to first get rid of four.

1:00:10 Hi, N.

1:00:10 N's there.

1:00:11 Sorry, Nom.

1:00:13 There.

1:00:13 Yeah.

1:00:15 So, we're not talking to Nom yet, but he's ready.

1:00:17 Okay, here we go.

1:00:18 There he is.

1:00:19 So, Robert is there.

1:00:20 Um, Robert, um, Alex is wearing the same shirt

1:00:24 you were wearing on this the on your video.

1:00:28 I like it.

1:00:28 Uh, interesting.

1:00:30 Yeah.

1:00:30 From your house.

1:00:33 Yeah.

1:00:33 Hey, you know what?

1:00:34 If uh, Alex wants to come over and wade raid my wardrobe,

1:00:38 like, he's welcome to do that.

1:00:39 He's a He's a handsome gentleman.

1:00:41 Uh I'm happy to give him some plaque.

1:00:44 Thank you.

1:00:44 Thank you.

1:00:46 I mean I always admire you like I mean great taste.

1:00:50 I always like the way you and I was uh uh there was some

1:00:52 conspiracy going on behind your back to be

1:00:55 able to acquire such a precious shirt.

1:00:58 I don't want to give names out there, but uh look, I'm pro shirt conspiracy.

1:01:03 That's fine.

1:01:04 Pro shirt conspiracy.

1:01:06 I don't think I had that on my bingo card for today's interview at all.

1:01:10 Here we go.

1:01:11 Yeah.

1:01:11 So, so Robert, the only other thing I want to let

1:01:13 you know is every time you use the word plus, Alex has to do a push-up.

1:01:18 And so, we're already 40 or so in.

1:01:21 Um, so I'm just giving you a heads up.

1:01:23 I I know you love a challenge after, you know,

1:01:25 after meeting you at the Intel uh tech show when we were in in C.

1:01:30 No, it was it was uh

1:01:32 Oh, Computex.

1:01:33 Computex.

1:01:33 Yeah.

1:01:33 Yeah.

1:01:34 So, I know that you like to have fun.

1:01:36 Yeah.

1:01:36 Was hot.

1:01:37 The AC was broken.

1:01:38 That's why.

1:01:39 So, I just I just need you to know I know you like to have

1:01:41 fun and here's an opportunity to get back at Alex for raiding your wardrobe.

1:01:45 So, anyway.

1:01:47 All right.

1:01:47 That's fair.

1:01:50 All right.

1:01:50 Let's see.

1:01:51 Let's see how we can increase that.

1:01:54 I hear I hear a lot of I'm a little scared.

1:01:59 So, uh I guess we'll start off with the the original question.

1:02:01 Why don't you tell us who you are?

1:02:03 I mean like what do you do at and what do you do at Intel?

1:02:06 Who who is Odaddy and what does he do?

1:02:08 Exactly.

1:02:08 My name is Robert.

1:02:10 We were watching Kindergarten Cop earlier.

1:02:12 So yeah.

1:02:12 Yeah.

1:02:12 Yes.

1:02:13 That's right.

1:02:13 What a great movie.

1:02:14 Um my name's Robert Hick.

1:02:15 I lead the channel business which is just a fancy way of saying

1:02:18 uh like DIY or systems that kind of look like a DIY system.

1:02:22 We've got 27,000 global partners.

1:02:27 27,000.

1:02:28 27,000.

1:02:28 That that is awesome.

1:02:29 Plus everybody that builds their own PC, right?

1:02:32 Like it's just uh Yeah.

1:02:34 Like all the enthusiast stuff.

1:02:36 Yeah.

1:02:36 Plus them for sure.

1:02:37 Yeah.

1:02:37 That's that's that's a good that was a good Yeah, that's a good point.

1:02:40 That was a good plus.

1:02:41 That was a good plus.

1:02:41 Yeah, exactly.

1:02:42 That's a lot of uh that's a lot.

1:02:43 Oh, yeah.

1:02:43 I did say plus.

1:02:44 You did you did you did say plus.

1:02:46 Does that count?

1:02:47 Yes, THAT TOTALLY COUNTS.

1:02:48 WE THOUGHT you we thought you had

1:02:50 done that completely on purpose, but then again,

1:02:52 I guess we we thought you were more slide than that, but Okay.

1:02:55 Wow.

1:02:56 Well, you know what?

1:02:57 I'm just warming up here.

1:02:58 I'm warming up here.

1:02:58 I've got uh you know, maybe like 25 minutes to go.

1:03:01 A lot of plus head room here.

1:03:03 There was a head room.

1:03:05 I want to find out the headroom.

1:03:08 But since we're in the subject actually,

1:03:10 why why plus why why use that neman clature?

1:03:13 Why why is it at the end?

1:03:14 What what does it mean?

1:03:15 And here we go.

1:03:16 Yeah.

1:03:16 Um look, branding is uh always really challenging in the tech industry.

1:03:22 There's lots of internal opinions, lots of external opinions,

1:03:25 uh new CPUs and GPUs coming all the time and naming them is really hard.

1:03:30 However, uh sometimes you get some really strong feedback

1:03:33 to uh stop doing one thing and start doing something else.

1:03:36 And one of the big pieces of feedback that we

1:03:39 got was if if it's not like an allnew micro architecture,

1:03:45 don't add a thousand to the model number or don't add a 100 to the model number.

1:03:49 So when I look at the new CPUs, we could have called them 300s.

1:03:53 that was an option on the table,

1:03:56 but trying to respect that uh consumer feedback, that partner feedback,

1:04:00 decided to play it a little conservative and and like frankly,

1:04:02 these are 200 CPUs plus a little more.

1:04:06 So, that leads to the name, but thank you.

1:04:11 Thank you for announcing it one more time.

1:04:13 You're very welcome.

1:04:16 Yeah, after a while, you actually start to feel bad.

1:04:19 I do like I'm I'm maybe like four deep and like I kind of feel bad but

1:04:24 I don't know.

1:04:25 I don't think you feel bad going out of

1:04:27 sometimes you feel bad.

1:04:28 I I didn't say I always feel bad.

1:04:30 I'm just saying sometimes.

1:04:31 I mean kind of I kind of feel bad.

1:04:35 Maybe a little bit, you know.

1:04:36 But on the plus side, there's still more opportunity to talk about stuff.

1:04:39 So, I'm pretty excited about this.

1:04:41 Right.

1:04:41 There's a lot.

1:04:42 But speaking of that, there has been what have you I I think there was a lot

1:04:46 of really favorable um uh reception to your video

1:04:50 and then now even to the chips themselves.

1:04:52 Like how did you feel after seeing how

1:04:54 people reacted and then you know having that follow

1:04:56 up with just even how the press received uh the 270K plus and the 250k plus?

1:05:01 I mean like selfishly it it feels good.

1:05:04 I flattering of course.

1:05:06 Um, but you know, like I I always try to come from a place of truth or honesty,

1:05:12 which is for myself.

1:05:13 I've been gaming since I was 4 years old.

1:05:16 Uh, strictly on a PC.

1:05:17 Like I've never really owned a game console.

1:05:19 Um, so it it's relatively easy, I guess,

1:05:23 for me to stand up and talk about this stuff cuz it's been my whole life.

1:05:27 And and I hope that I I hope and I guess that people see that or feel it.

1:05:32 And um you know that's that's just who I am as a person, right?

1:05:36 That's that that whole thing was improv, right?

1:05:38 This is off the top of my head to camera.

1:05:41 Um because I live and breathe this stuff

1:05:43 and I'm glad people appreciate it and I'm

1:05:46 glad people like the new parts and we've

1:05:48 got better and better stuff coming next.

1:05:51 So that's going to be fun.

1:05:53 That's Yeah, I'm It's exciting, right?

1:05:55 I think I think it was it was cool to especially just even here

1:05:58 being on the show getting to see

1:05:59 people's reception which has been really really neat.

1:06:01 So yeah, the reception overall has been

1:06:03 great uh from everybody from from reviewers,

1:06:06 from the people, from everybody else, from the tech community.

1:06:08 So we're very excited to see that.

1:06:11 And I guess uh Rob, can you tell us a little bit like what were the lessons

1:06:14 that we learned previously to be able to to have

1:06:17 this to bring it here to the table?

1:06:19 Um couple things.

1:06:20 Um one of one of the big ones in the last product cycle

1:06:25 uh was was just the ease of getting some of this platform software.

1:06:29 Um, every every gaming CPU on Earth now has like really really critical

1:06:35 software that you have to install to ensure the right behavior in a game.

1:06:40 Uh, Intel is no different.

1:06:42 And in previous generations,

1:06:45 it had gotten to a state where it was kind of peacemeal.

1:06:47 You had to go to intel.com for this one thing,

1:06:49 a motherboard website for this other thing.

1:06:52 And it was inconvenient.

1:06:54 And uh due to some of the like

1:06:56 really pleasant restructuring that has happened inside Intel,

1:06:59 we were now in a position to look at this and go,

1:07:01 "Nah, we got to make this better and easier

1:07:03 for people." And and that led to the platform performance package.

1:07:08 Uh which just wraps up everything that you need into one installer.

1:07:12 Uh and everybody for every gaming CPU

1:07:14 at Intel going forward will still need this.

1:07:16 Got to plug that.

1:07:16 Got to make sure I say that one more time.

1:07:19 uh um uh but also like the the hardware

1:07:24 right uh having we we made the decision to uh

1:07:28 produce a refresh CPU here and there are a couple

1:07:33 ways to do that you can either u what's called

1:07:36 bin which is to take something you already have

1:07:38 and and assort it in a different way or you

1:07:42 can make a physical change to that architecture and run

1:07:45 all new wafers and we chose the second one, right?

1:07:49 And that only that route allowed us to do all

1:07:52 the frequency increases that were important to deliver better gaming.

1:07:57 Um, so we we've learned a lot uh about disagregated architecture,

1:08:01 sometimes the hard way.

1:08:02 Um, we've learned a lot about what

1:08:04 people are expecting in terms of software experience, and most importantly,

1:08:08 there are now a bunch of PC gamers

1:08:10 and channel experienced people and enthusiasts overseeing it.

1:08:14 And that works really, really well, I think, for the gaming public.

1:08:17 And I I hope that people have started to see the difference which which is

1:08:21 all to say like lot more proof to do like that is not one and done.

1:08:27 Uh nothing it's going to be hard work.

1:08:29 We have years ahead of us but I hope people like the start.

1:08:33 Yeah.

1:08:33 The proof is in the pudding but I think it's it's a great start.

1:08:36 I think we're doing pretty well and people really like it.

1:08:38 Yeah.

1:08:38 Yeah.

1:08:39 For sure.

1:08:39 I I think that's I think you're

1:08:40 absolutely I think that's that's absolutely true.

1:08:42 Um for sure.

1:08:43 Um, what do you what was like when you think

1:08:46 about the the piece that probably excites you the most?

1:08:50 Like what is it that you are probably most excited

1:08:52 about as people finally get their hands on these chips?

1:08:54 Like what is it that you think is going to be the thing?

1:08:57 Hey, go try this or whatever it was that you think will like really get people

1:09:01 plused about, you know, what's happening?

1:09:06 Uh, every time you say plus.

1:09:10 Yeah.

1:09:10 Well, every time I say it, it works, too.

1:09:13 Okay, good.

1:09:13 I I'll just also point out that I said the word again, so um

1:09:18 you know, hold on, Matt.

1:09:19 Where we at right now?

1:09:21 More or less.

1:09:21 We're nearing 50 right now, bad.

1:09:27 Okay, go ahead.

1:09:28 Go ahead.

1:09:29 Um some of these parts are going

1:09:31 to have uh some interesting overclocking headroom.

1:09:34 Uh, look, I, you know, it's always very difficult to say exactly how much,

1:09:39 but there is some headroom in these parts and I hope people enjoy that and uh,

1:09:44 I'm excited to see what what sort of headroom people find.

1:09:50 Oh, that'll be interesting.

1:09:51 That's that's that's an interesting challenge.

1:09:53 Splave, are you watching?

1:09:54 Probably.

1:09:54 I just want to I was just thinking like the over.

1:09:57 I should I feel like I should text him right now and be like, "Hey, bro.

1:10:00 I just You know what?

1:10:00 I just heard from Robert." Yeah.

1:10:02 likes to display a high cookie.

1:10:05 Get your like plus size like rappers on and get ready to do some overclocking.

1:10:09 You know what I'm saying?

1:10:11 Here we go.

1:10:12 There's 51.

1:10:16 Yes.

1:10:16 Um, so let's I one question though that you know I

1:10:18 was I was looking at this but so when did you

1:10:21 guys have like that aha moment about like the dieto-ie communication

1:10:25 and all that sort of stuff like when did that all click?

1:10:27 because that feels like that was, you know,

1:10:28 when we talk about what that means for gaming from a low latency standpoint,

1:10:32 being able to talk to memory,

1:10:33 like that feels like such a like a big backbone

1:10:35 of what uh is successful about the 270K and the 250K.

1:10:41 I I I can't say there was any one particular moment,

1:10:44 which is so disappointing like you you you want this thing

1:10:47 where it's like ah there was this light bulb moment,

1:10:49 everybody's sitting in a room and like

1:10:51 it's just it doesn't really happen that way.

1:10:53 Um, but e every time you launch a new CPU uh or any any sort of technology,

1:10:58 we do kind of after the fact reviews

1:11:01 and you you if if you're honest with yourself,

1:11:04 you keep a scorecard of what went well

1:11:06 and what went poorly and then you start planning

1:11:08 to uh fix the stuff that went poorly

1:11:11 for next time and and that is a gradual process.

1:11:14 It is always running at a silicon companies.

1:11:17 We are there is always a next thing

1:11:20 that is overlapping the thing that is currently

1:11:22 in market and it is a constant learning

1:11:25 effort and that's how the product cycle works.

1:11:28 But yes, no great like Netflix moment where some Chinese goes aha

1:11:34 I feel like that I feel like I really

1:11:36 want like the the story that's like the Netflix romcom.

1:11:39 You know what I mean?

1:11:40 Where Robert's like all of a sudden he just sees the silicon from across

1:11:42 the way and he's like oh he falls in love with it and there it happens.

1:11:46 You know what I mean?

1:11:46 Oh, it was just the way the light Chipperin.

1:11:50 Exactly.

1:11:51 Chipper.

1:11:52 All right.

1:11:53 You heard here first.

1:11:54 You first, guys.

1:11:55 Chipper season one coming.

1:11:56 Yeah, there we go.

1:11:57 That's how we announced it.

1:11:58 Show's over.

1:11:59 That was really the whole point of this was just to tell you.

1:12:01 Thank you, guys.

1:12:01 See you next week.

1:12:02 Byebye.

1:12:02 The new Intel romcom coming later, guys.

1:12:08 Later.

1:12:07 Oh, man.

1:12:11 For you guys in the chat, uh I guess there was a a quick question.

1:12:14 Where are these chips being sold at?

1:12:15 Is it just US or is it worldwide?

1:12:19 Oo uh globally.

1:12:20 Um I mean launch day the actual sales date was yesterday North American time.

1:12:26 Uh so it should be global like some some

1:12:31 countries with slightly like longer import export processes or like

1:12:37 physically larger countries for logistics reasons they might be

1:12:40 a few days behind but it's it's a global launch.

1:12:43 Yeah.

1:12:43 No that's great to hear.

1:12:45 Yes.

1:12:45 And it is global.

1:12:46 It just takes a, you know,

1:12:47 shipping takes a while from one side to the other side of the world.

1:12:50 So sometimes it goes in a plane.

1:12:52 Well, most most of the times it goes in a boat.

1:12:53 And uh, you know, when you're in a boat takes a little bit longer.

1:12:57 Uh, there was there was a one question for Araxus Ry,

1:13:00 I don't know if you want to.

1:13:00 Yeah.

1:13:01 Yeah.

1:13:01 So Roxis, and he's a it's funny cuz he is he's really excited.

1:13:04 He actually owns a 285 285K system, but he asked this.

1:13:07 He says, "How do you all do it with the 270K Plus?

1:13:10 What was the change to boost that gaming performance

1:13:12 to be at a 14900K level over the 285K?

1:13:15 You said frequency increases,

1:13:17 but the 270K Plus is clocked slower than the 285K yet performs much better.

1:13:21 What's the magic?

1:13:23 And will it be on Chipper?

1:13:24 Yeah.

1:13:24 Or what's or will it be on Chipper

1:13:26 Chipper season 2?

1:13:29 Uh, well, on the second episode of Chipper Chain,

1:13:32 we're going to fall in love with SOC Frequencies,

1:13:36 which is Okay, buckle up y'all.

1:13:38 like this is so nerdy.

1:13:39 I love it.

1:13:40 I love it.

1:13:40 I love nerdy.

1:13:43 Uh so it is a reality that I think a lot of people are still awakening

1:13:50 to that the actual frequency of the CPU core

1:13:54 doesn't dictate a lot of your gaming performance anymore.

1:13:57 Once you cross a threshold of about 5.4,

1:14:00 four, 5.5, like somewhere in that threshold,

1:14:03 it becomes the rest of the CPU that matters a lot more.

1:14:08 And when you look at any processor, it doesn't matter if it's Intel or anybody

1:14:12 else that has multiple physical chips on the package,

1:14:16 they all have to talk to one another.

1:14:18 And those chips talking to one another, they have their own frequency.

1:14:24 And and so, uh, a couple of the major ones, one is called die to die.

1:14:29 How do you get information out of the CPU

1:14:31 tile with all the cores to the memory controller?

1:14:34 The memory controller is in another tile or another chip called the SOC tile.

1:14:39 So, we made that link 900 MHz faster.

1:14:43 Uh so, that that's like a direct speed up between the CPU core out to RAM.

1:14:48 Great for latency, great for FPS.

1:14:51 But there's more.

1:14:52 Uh, inside that SOC tile,

1:14:54 there's a ring where all the things packed in that tile talk to one another.

1:14:59 Things like the memory controller, the NPU, that's all in the SOC tile.

1:15:03 They have to talk to themselves, right?

1:15:05 That frequency got faster.

1:15:07 And then finally, there's uh something called the ring frequency at Intel,

1:15:10 which is the speed at which all the CPU

1:15:13 cores talk to one another inside their own tile.

1:15:16 That also got faster, right?

1:15:18 So, a lot of what is driving performance

1:15:22 now in gaming specifically on modern gaming CPUs, not just Intel ones,

1:15:28 but in general, is the speed of communication

1:15:31 from point A to point B inside the CPU.

1:15:35 It's it's not really the CPU core frequency anymore,

1:15:38 which is not a reason not to like go after more

1:15:41 cuz there are some games that will always benefit from more.

1:15:44 But if you look at a wide like distribution of games,

1:15:48 yeah, it's it's the other stuff.

1:15:50 Now, that was that was such that was a good answer.

1:15:54 I mean, it's it's like he knows stuff.

1:15:56 IT'S LIKE

1:15:57 WAIT, WAIT, WAIT.

1:15:58 I just saved myself from a push-up.

1:15:59 Oh, wait.

1:16:00 I wasn't going to say Oh, I wasn't actually going to say that.

1:16:02 I actually like genuinely like it's funny cuz

1:16:04 like we we always like to we always joke.

1:16:06 We're like, hey, this, you know, meet Robert.

1:16:08 He's people who know stuff, right?

1:16:09 And this is like proof.

1:16:10 It's like, hey, actually people who know stuff, which is actually pretty cool.

1:16:12 So hopefully Araxis that answered your question and I

1:16:15 really appreciate uh the explanation because a lot that actually

1:16:18 comes up a lot because I think a lot

1:16:20 of times it's like we're we've seen these changes not

1:16:22 even in just CPUs but GPUs and everything as well

1:16:25 that the way that things are measuring are changes

1:16:28 are are changing right and so um I think people

1:16:31 are trying to adapt and sometimes they just don't understand.

1:16:34 I think one of the things we talked about back when we were

1:16:36 at Computex and we talked about Core Ultra 200S boost as an idea.

1:16:40 Um you were talking about hey it you know overclocking and everything

1:16:43 just gets way more complicated now because there's just a lot more involved.

1:16:47 Um and so I think what you guys have is like you guys are starting

1:16:51 to learn to tweak everything and this is it does it feel like this is

1:16:54 just the beginning because as you guys

1:16:56 have gone to this uh this new architecture

1:16:58 and stuff like that you guys are learning more and more as you do more.

1:17:01 You know what I mean?

1:17:03 Uh I do know what you mean.

1:17:05 Uh and uh it's interesting that we have uh over the next five years kind of like

1:17:11 completely torn apart the road map and put

1:17:13 it back together for for PC gaming specifically,

1:17:16 desktop PC gaming specifically with uh this thinking in mind, right?

1:17:20 It's it's uh these learned lessons were not one and done with plus.

1:17:24 We can do uh there you go.

1:17:27 There's another one.

1:17:28 Yeah, we're doing it.

1:17:29 Don't worry.

1:17:31 We got you.

1:17:32 good.

1:17:33 Uh but but there are like future implementations

1:17:37 of this idea that could be even faster,

1:17:41 even lower latency and that just takes time to engineer

1:17:45 and produce but that's on the road map, right?

1:17:48 So we we've taken these learned lessons

1:17:51 uh from like an architectural point of view, a business point of view,

1:17:55 which I know business boring,

1:17:56 but like it it matters in in how you resource

1:17:59 the organization and and what you can deliver and track.

1:18:04 Um and I'm really excited.

1:18:05 I want like deeply deeply want every one of these gaming

1:18:08 CPUs we are about to produce or well even the plus CPU.

1:18:12 I've got a 270K plus coming.

1:18:14 I'm really excited about that.

1:18:16 Um, yeah, road map's bright.

1:18:18 It's going to be good.

1:18:19 I'm excited.

1:18:20 I'm excited.

1:18:20 And the other thing, too, is like, can I just say like it for us,

1:18:23 I think the thing that really kind of surprised us,

1:18:25 and I don't know if there's I think I'm just saying it into the ether,

1:18:28 but the price being lower than the MSRP

1:18:32 from the previous gen was like such a huge thing,

1:18:34 especially with the struggles that so many of us are going through right now

1:18:38 when they're trying to buy RAM or NVMEs to see something like that happen.

1:18:41 So, I don't know.

1:18:42 Well, I don't know if that's necessarily

1:18:43 a comment that you can respond to, but thanks.

1:18:46 I just want to say, you know what I mean?

1:18:48 That was a that was a nice that's a yeah, that was a nice surprise, right?

1:18:52 Like, you know, there's just been a lot of, you know,

1:18:54 poor poor gamers just getting beat up

1:18:56 and to finally have something where it's like,

1:18:58 oh, yeah, and by the way, it's cheaper from the bottom of all the PC enthusi.

1:19:03 Thank you.

1:19:05 Yeah.

1:19:05 I mean, you're you're welcome.

1:19:06 I think I I like I hope that doesn't sound conceited.

1:19:09 No, I don't I wasn't and it wasn't meant to make you sound that way.

1:19:11 I'm just saying it's like I we we have an opportunity to we're here celebrating

1:19:14 the launch of this chip and you know we're getting to talk to you it's

1:19:17 not just you but Aaron and Alex is here too just to say hey Intel

1:19:20 thanks for thanks for not kicking us while we're down you know what I mean?

1:19:23 So I just wanted to that's a that's a global thank you from everybody.

1:19:26 You know what I mean?

1:19:26 So it's a it's a really tough time to be a PC gamer.

1:19:31 I'm not going to buy RAM right now.

1:19:33 Like $550 memory kits.

1:19:35 What what even is happening here?

1:19:37 um like Intel we we can't affect the price of RAM,

1:19:42 we can't affect the price of SSDs, etc.

1:19:44 But we we can certainly be thoughtful about the overall cost of the system

1:19:49 and and the role that we play in that overall

1:19:52 cost and uh to the extent that we can offer

1:19:56 good performance per dollar for people um and and you

1:19:59 know kind of surprise and delight people with a new CPU,

1:20:02 that's certainly what I would like to do, right?

1:20:05 that's uh and it's not strictly my choice but we my team

1:20:09 has a large influence on that decision and um we thought like philosophically

1:20:15 given the ecosystem and what's going on that that would be the right

1:20:18 thing to do at the right time and I'm glad people like it.

1:20:23 Yeah.

1:20:23 Yeah.

1:20:23 I think I mean all in all like

1:20:25 it's it's been interesting even for somebody like you

1:20:27 know somebody who's um who's a we got to be we I get to sit on both sides.

1:20:31 to get to go and be a rahrrah with, you know,

1:20:34 with you and being here and celebrating,

1:20:35 but also as an independent reviewer, like, you know,

1:20:38 Kevin came in here and he just came up to Alex right away and he was like,

1:20:41 "I just want you to know I really like your chips." And then,

1:20:45 but the weird thing is Alex, was he talking about chip or chips?

1:20:48 But yeah, I think he was talking about

1:20:49 your But you were eating chips at the time.

1:20:51 And Alex was like, "You can't have any." Cuz he was really hungry.

1:20:53 But then he was like, "No, no, your CPU chips." He's like, "Oh,

1:20:56 that makes more sense." No, but he was actually really excited.

1:20:58 It was uh he was genuinely excited by it.

1:21:00 And you know, all in all,

1:21:02 the other thing too that I really appreciated is, you know,

1:21:04 it's funny enough as somebody who ran it is like

1:21:06 we watch the video and then we're we're always like,

1:21:09 you know, even even on this show, we're always like,

1:21:10 "Hey," and wait for independent reviewers and then come back and you're like,

1:21:13 "Oh, and by the way, it was what they said it was." That doesn't always happen.

1:21:17 You know what I mean?

1:21:18 So

1:21:19 that's But that's how it should work.

1:21:21 THAT'S HOW IT SHOULD WORK IN THIS INDUSTRY.

1:21:23 YEAH, I know.

1:21:23 I know.

1:21:25 It blows my mind.

1:21:26 Like we we try so hard to uh like it is a matter

1:21:31 of credibility for yourself and a matter of respect for the public, right?

1:21:36 Like number one job is to measure accurate performance in the way that a normal

1:21:42 human being would go build a system and go measure their own performance.

1:21:46 And if you can't do that, what are you even doing here?

1:21:49 Yeah.

1:21:49 Yeah.

1:21:50 So yeah, actually I want to give a a a shout out to Hana

1:21:54 and the whole PML team cuz uh you guys don't know but the PML team

1:21:57 was the one who run all the all the benchmarks and all the testing

1:22:01 rather all the data points and they gathered thousands of data points just to

1:22:04 show you guys like hey this is the performance that we got out of it.

1:22:07 So thank you guys and yeah and everybody

1:22:09 that that put in a lot of work into that.

1:22:12 Absolutely.

1:22:11 But they still she still owes us cookies though, right?

1:22:14 She does owe us cookies.

1:22:15 Yeah.

1:22:15 I'm just saying like so I mean I just want to make sure you're clear.

1:22:17 We love the work you do, but you still owe us cookies.

1:22:20 That doesn't get you off the hook.

1:22:21 Okay.

1:22:22 We just want to be I feel like that's fair.

1:22:23 You know what I mean?

1:22:24 Yeah, that's fair.

1:22:25 Fair and balanced.

1:22:26 Yeah.

1:22:26 Yeah.

1:22:26 Yeah.

1:22:26 For sure.

1:22:26 Okay.

1:22:27 Just want to make sure that we're we're we're being both sides.

1:22:28 We got to We got to We represent the whole picture.

1:22:31 Okay.

1:22:32 Great job.

1:22:33 Still need cookies.

1:22:34 Okay.

1:22:34 Just being really clear about that.

1:22:36 You mean balance one another out.

1:22:39 Exactly.

1:22:40 Yeah.

1:22:40 Especially when Alex has to do I don't know like plus plus

1:22:43 so many so many so many push-ups he's going to have to do.

1:22:46 So rude.

1:22:47 That's the thing is like

1:22:48 his with with the cookies it's like counteracting, right?

1:22:51 Are you are you just angry cuz you did 10 10 10 push-ups?

1:22:55 Okay, just to be clear, Robert, I did 10 push-ups.

1:22:57 He's done like 30 and I was like struggling after like eight.

1:23:01 So, I can't I I really can't talk smack.

1:23:04 You know what I mean?

1:23:05 But I I'm going to work on it.

1:23:06 I told him next year I'll do more.

1:23:08 Yeah, Alex is a machine.

1:23:09 You're not wrong.

1:23:10 You're not wrong.

1:23:11 Um Okay.

1:23:11 So, if there was a question, if there was something we didn't say,

1:23:14 like what do you if if there's is there anything we

1:23:16 should add or that we should get out into the ether,

1:23:18 you know, with the literally dude almost, you know,

1:23:21 what did we miss that you would like to say out loud?

1:23:23 Yeah.

1:23:23 Would you love to say out loud?

1:23:24 Yeah.

1:23:25 Uh, binary optimization is a great Yeah.

1:23:31 Yeah.

1:23:31 We have uh Mr.

1:23:32 uh Aaron coming right after you and we're all waiting and hopefully that he

1:23:37 shows up with his special uh headset that he showed up last time.

1:23:41 So, we we'll see on that.

1:23:43 Okay.

1:23:43 Yeah, I have seen that.

1:23:44 Good.

1:23:44 I hope he does, too.

1:23:45 Um, well, I'm not gonna steal this from McGavoc's Thunder,

1:23:50 but I'll let him do binary optimization, but that's a big one.

1:23:53 And like as a maybe an industry motivation, um, I will say this, right?

1:23:59 If you are a game developer or a publisher,

1:24:02 the industry has never never been more complicated.

1:24:05 There are more instruction sets.

1:24:08 There are more CPU companies.

1:24:09 There are more CPU models.

1:24:11 People are holding on to their systems longer,

1:24:13 which means more families in circulation.

1:24:15 And it's complexity multiplying very quickly.

1:24:18 And you don't have a lot of time as a publisher or a developer

1:24:21 to decide which one of those CPUs you're going to optimize for.

1:24:25 You you don't get to choose.

1:24:27 Sometimes you maybe have time for

1:24:30 generic x86, right?

1:24:32 and we can recover that extra optimization and give it back

1:24:38 to people and Intel is the only one that can do this.

1:24:42 Pretty cool.

1:24:43 Lots of headroom in that technology.

1:24:45 It's going to be a big part of our road map.

1:24:47 And that's all I'll say.

1:24:48 Well, I will just say as somebody who was a game developer for 20 years for Xbox

1:24:51 and for Microsoft and did games like Age

1:24:53 of Empires and all those other ones, right?

1:24:55 I I we understand as game developers sometimes we have

1:24:59 to pay we also have to pay the bills, right?

1:25:01 like and so we have certain affinities that we want to but we

1:25:04 don't want it to be something where we look bad somewhere

1:25:06 else but you know what I mean it's just I appreciate

1:25:08 that like as somebody who's made games and having having help to make

1:25:13 our games run better there's a I don't think people really understand

1:25:16 what it what it takes to literally do all of the work

1:25:20 to make sure that backwards compatibility and all that stuff or even

1:25:23 forward compatibility for our titles right so it was a nightmare

1:25:27 it's not free not easy like I see this all the time.

1:25:31 Can't you just optimize the game?

1:25:33 Like, dude, that's 6 to 12 months.

1:25:38 Yeah.

1:25:38 Publisher might be breathing down your neck saying,

1:25:40 "Hey, dude, you got to ship in two months." Yeah.

1:25:43 Exactly.

1:25:43 What do you do?

1:25:44 Yep.

1:25:44 Yeah.

1:25:44 And especially when your game I mean

1:25:46 like nowadays with bloated game development budgets.

1:25:48 I mean, I've worked on titles that were close

1:25:50 to a billion dollars just in terms of spending, right?

1:25:53 And uh you know, Halo, right?

1:25:56 So it's like but again there's eventually a point when those titles have to get

1:25:59 out and they just need to start recouping cost and you know it's it's not

1:26:03 that we don't want to but literally it's like we'll we I mean we have

1:26:07 Microsoft had one of the most impressive

1:26:09 like benchmark suite like for all this stuff.

1:26:12 Then we did open betas.

1:26:13 We did all sorts of things to try and no matter

1:26:15 how hard we try it'll get out and then the just

1:26:18 the infinite combinations once you get out is just and you're like

1:26:21 it doesn't run on this and we're like oh my gosh dude

1:26:23 it's it's hard like even like for all the different uh

1:26:26 applications that that we have and and Aaron and and Rob

1:26:29 can talk about it it's hard to assess for all the possible

1:26:32 well it's an infinite number of combinations you have there so

1:26:35 yeah and also we didn't have unlimited resources to go test

1:26:37 them exactly so yeah no that's that's I I liked I liked

1:26:40 the as somebody who worked on that side I like the little speech.

1:26:43 It It hit me.

1:26:44 It hit me in the fields.

1:26:46 My heart was plus sizes.

1:26:48 No, that many more, big.

1:26:50 How many times?

1:26:50 How many times was it?

1:26:53 270 plus sizes.

1:26:57 At this rate, we're probably twist.

1:26:58 But just twist it.

1:27:00 Wait, what did Matt say?

1:27:01 At this point, we're probably going to hit that number.

1:27:03 I feel like this way a couple more hours.

1:27:09 I'm going to come into the show next time like, "Hey guys, how's it going?"

1:27:13 His arms will work.

1:27:14 And Aaron is observing by this point, so he's going to really just

1:27:17 Yeah, he's really going to go from there.

1:27:19 Swing for the fences.

1:27:20 Well, Robert, you have been so much.

1:27:22 Thank you so much for tuning for being here and and just allowing

1:27:25 us to spend some time with you and just to spread some knowledge.

1:27:28 And again, congratulations to not only you, but the entire team.

1:27:31 I know it takes a massive team uh to pull this off.

1:27:34 So please share with you know everybody here you know those of us in the press

1:27:38 and you know enthusiasts and stuff big congratulations to the team on a job one

1:27:43 Robert thank you thank you so much I know you're very busy and thank

1:27:45 you for coming here with us and yeah we'll talk about wardrobes later on

1:27:49 yeah and thank you for adding at least 20 20 or 30

1:27:52 pluses to his push appreciate it no problem to help guys we'll talk

1:28:01 y'all have a good one thanks you too

1:28:04 bye You know, I'm going to while you bring Aaron,

1:28:06 I'm going to go and try to do at least 10 or let's see how many.

1:28:12 Uh, and it's kind of like you owe us at this point.

1:28:14 It's And Aaron can hear you now, which is the best thing about it, right?

1:28:21 So, he gets to he knows what he's coming into.

1:28:23 Just watch behind you, Ruby.

1:28:24 Okay, I will watch behind me.

1:28:26 Oh god, here we go.

1:28:28 Oh, man.

1:28:28 This is the best.

1:28:29 That was easy.

1:28:30 That was easy.

1:28:31 That was easy.

1:28:32 That was easy.

1:28:33 You can just hear it.

1:28:34 That was easy.

1:28:35 That was easy.

1:28:36 That was easy.

1:28:37 That was easy.

1:28:39 That was easy.

1:28:40 That was easy.

1:28:41 That was easy.

1:28:42 That was easy.

1:28:43 That was easy.

1:28:44 That was easy.

1:28:45 That was easy.

1:28:46 That was easy.

1:28:47 That was easy.

1:28:48 That was easy.

1:28:49 That was easy.

1:28:50 All right.

1:28:51 For those who are counting, how many was that?

1:28:53 I didn't actually We didn't see any of them, which is the sad part, right?

1:28:56 So, it's like we're going to have to No, I had to get Aaron on.

1:29:01 But it was actually like 15.

1:29:05 Not 15.

1:29:07 20.

1:29:07 Thank you.

1:29:07 Okay.

1:29:07 I thought it was like It was not four.

1:29:09 It was seven.

1:29:10 What's up, Eric?

1:29:11 It was seven.

1:29:12 It was not not six.

1:29:13 Seven.

1:29:14 It was six or seven.

1:29:16 It was at least one.

1:29:17 At least one.

1:29:18 No reps were done that.

1:29:21 Yeah.

1:29:21 No, you did, dude.

1:29:22 20.

1:29:22 You're killing it, bro.

1:29:23 You're killing it.

1:29:24 Okay, so only 50 more after this interview is done.

1:29:26 Um, hey, it's so good TO SEE YOU.

1:29:29 HOW ARE YOU?

1:29:30 IT'S GOOD TO see you.

1:29:35 I think you have tenure with us now.

1:29:39 Okay.

1:29:39 Yeah, we're doing we're doing Transformers headsets today.

1:29:42 SO OH, WOW.

1:29:43 NICE.

1:29:44 OH, NICE.

1:29:45 Look at those.

1:29:46 I like it.

1:29:47 What do they trans?

1:29:48 Do they transform into anything?

1:29:50 The the case kind of does stuff.

1:29:53 Okay.

1:29:52 Okay.

1:29:53 But that's still pretty cool, though.

1:29:55 Oh, man.

1:29:55 You're wearing one of the OG uh shirts.

1:29:58 I love those.

1:29:59 Computex overclocking shirt.

1:30:02 Yes.

1:30:02 This That was 2014, was it?

1:30:04 Got Yeah, it's got my name, so it's all good.

1:30:08 Represent.

1:30:09 Yeah, you got to represent.

1:30:10 Yeah, for sure.

1:30:11 For sure.

1:30:12 So, how

1:30:12 I was hoping they put like MC Havoc, but you know, make Havoc.

1:30:16 Oh, that'd be kind of cool.

1:30:16 Is that your handle?

1:30:20 I mean, I wonder, do they make those in plus sizes?

1:30:22 Like, can you get them a little bit bigger?

1:30:24 I'm sure you can.

1:30:25 I'm sure you can.

1:30:27 No, they cannot.

1:30:29 bicep.

1:30:31 Okay.

1:30:31 So, so we're going to Okay, guys.

1:30:32 We're going to officially call it.

1:30:33 We're done with the game because poor this poor guy.

1:30:36 He's going to So, we're just have to finish the one that he's got.

1:30:39 Yeah, let's finish the ones that uh you got and then from there

1:30:42 we can make it like we can read it up and go from there.

1:30:45 But, uh Erin, I hate to take away from your fun cuz I mean, Robert got a lot of

1:30:49 No, let's let's let's Aaron have his fun.

1:30:51 Oh, no.

1:30:52 Oh, no.

1:30:53 Okay.

1:30:53 Okay.

1:30:56 Oh, wait.

1:30:57 Matt is like, "No, no, no, no, no." Okay.

1:31:00 Okay.

1:31:00 Well, we'll let Aaron.

1:31:01 So, uh, Erin, for folks who don't know who you are, uh,

1:31:04 or, uh, what you do, uh, just give us a brief introduction about you.

1:31:09 Sure.

1:31:09 Yeah.

1:31:09 I work on actually work on Rob's team.

1:31:11 Rob's my boss, so I had to be on good behavior.

1:31:14 Um, and, uh, I've been at Intel for a little over 25 years now,

1:31:18 so it's been a while.

1:31:19 Um, and all that time also enthusiast gaming, right?

1:31:23 started out with a channel and enthusiast gaming and uh have

1:31:26 have stuck with it and uh I work now on client innovation.

1:31:30 So my job is to come up with new ideas and then

1:31:34 uh shop them around at Intel and get them out to the market.

1:31:38 Oh, okay.

1:31:38 And so how do you shop around ideas at Intel?

1:31:41 Like what's that like?

1:31:42 Is it like you like you're like shaking down people in HQ ideas?

1:31:46 I thought maybe like you like maybe you take

1:31:48 them to Jimmy John's or something and you're like,

1:31:50 "Hey, do you like that sandwich?

1:31:51 let me tell you about an idea I had like what's what's what's that process like

1:31:55 sometimes that's the way you have to do it right sometimes

1:31:58 lunch meeting or the uh you know

1:32:00 the the the the cube talk but uh but mostly we we

1:32:04 come up with a whole slew of good ideas um

1:32:06 we try to get some IP patented around them early

1:32:10 and then uh and then it's our job to then

1:32:12 go get engineering resources to prove out to management that hey

1:32:15 we can make money with this idea and then we

1:32:18 have to find a product or a roadmap intercept So,

1:32:22 for software titles like we're going to talk

1:32:24 about Intel binary optimization technology today, it's a plus.

1:32:29 Um, that was good.

1:32:30 That was good.

1:32:30 That was good.

1:32:31 That was good.

1:32:31 That was good.

1:32:32 I'll take that one.

1:32:33 That was well that was well done.

1:32:34 Probably probably one of the best of the show so far.

1:32:37 Great delivery.

1:32:39 Great job.

1:32:40 Great job.

1:32:41 Uh, those those can happen pretty quickly, right?

1:32:45 Can happen uh can happen fairly quickly for hardware items.

1:32:49 Um, like I worked on a project a couple years ago called Intel Turbo Boost Max.

1:32:53 Um, so we ran some patents on that.

1:32:55 It took us a generation to be able to to do

1:32:58 that and we've got some great ideas that are in the hopper right now.

1:33:01 Um, that I'm really passionate and excited about,

1:33:04 but we're making the argument for two generations out right now.

1:33:10 Wow.

1:33:10 Into silicon.

1:33:11 Well, because as Rob said earlier, right,

1:33:13 we we have our current product and then while the current product is launching,

1:33:18 we have the next product and it's already through the design phase, right?

1:33:21 It's already in in trial runs and in early sampling

1:33:26 and and and working the bugs out at that level.

1:33:28 And then we've got the next product after that is is already in design phase.

1:33:33 And so in order to intercept something with new hardware designs,

1:33:37 it can take a little while.

1:33:38 And so part of my job is to look out across our our long-term roadmap and uh

1:33:44 and see where we can fit in some

1:33:45 of these new ideas to bring all of you new performance.

1:33:48 Right.

1:33:49 So I'm really excited about one of the ideas we have coming.

1:33:52 Can't talk about it, but uh maybe in a couple years I can be back on.

1:33:57 I thought we were going to get leaks on this show.

1:33:58 I thought we were going to get like I was like so I was like he's he's in it.

1:34:02 He's he's in the zone.

1:34:03 He's stop.

1:34:05 That's what 25 years of practice gets you.

1:34:07 I mean, if we if we did get any leaks,

1:34:09 I feel like the plus counter would just go way up to compensate.

1:34:13 Plus, plus plus.

1:34:14 Yeah.

1:34:16 We got a button that says more.

1:34:18 Yeah, just more more and more.

1:34:19 Yeah, exactly.

1:34:20 Wow, that's awesome.

1:34:22 So, how like did it take some time when you first

1:34:24 got on to like to to to to think that far ahead?

1:34:28 Cuz I mean I know for you guys like two generations,

1:34:30 I mean that's that can be quite a distance in somewhere some regards.

1:34:34 like how does it feel to to to be

1:34:36 thinking about something that's even at a conceptual level,

1:34:39 you know what I mean?

1:34:41 Yeah, it is.

1:34:41 Um it's hard to plan for the future, right?

1:34:44 Road, as Rob said, you know, we we think we might do one direction, right?

1:34:48 We want to run things as fast as possible.

1:34:51 We want to get to six gigahertz or 6.5 or seven, right?

1:34:54 And what do we need to do to get there?

1:34:56 Um, and then as you go down the design phase

1:34:58 and we look at what the ecosystem is doing and maybe

1:35:00 it makes sense to do some other things across

1:35:03 our designs to make them faster and and better for everyone.

1:35:06 Um, and so it's really hard to come up with a whole set of ideas that um

1:35:11 that a stand the test of time but b

1:35:14 um offer improvement over a variety of circumstances.

1:35:17 And and you'll see that with ibot.

1:35:19 That's one of them.

1:35:20 um this new feature that's coming that that will be uh ubiquitous across mobile,

1:35:26 desktop, server um and uh it's something that that everyone can benefit from.

1:35:31 So it's it's hard to judge, right?

1:35:34 You can't read what the where the market's headed um and where

1:35:38 designs and the laws of phys physics will take you, but you can

1:35:42 you can try to come up with something that is

1:35:44 uh general and allpurpose that off that lifts all boats.

1:35:47 So, so Erin, so why why go the down the road of software optimizations?

1:35:53 Like why why go that way?

1:35:54 I mean, I guess we we do all the hardware,

1:35:55 but is it like when you're shooting videos, oh, we'll fix it in post?

1:36:02 It's like, well, Robie talked about earlier, right?

1:36:05 So, there's all these uh software vendors that are out there.

1:36:08 We call them ISVS, right?

1:36:10 And those ISVS have a bunch

1:36:12 of different uh demographics that they're writing for.

1:36:15 Maybe some of them are primarily focused on consoles or maybe they are primarily

1:36:20 focused on a different architecture or perhaps

1:36:23 maybe they're not resourced really well, right?

1:36:25 And so they take some off-the-shelf compiler

1:36:28 or they they they push out one build, right?

1:36:31 It's a console build and then they they patch

1:36:34 some things on and make that a PC build, right?

1:36:36 We add some enhanced graphics or we we add a few more sprites

1:36:40 and then we we send that out because it runs better on PC.

1:36:42 We get a little more resources.

1:36:44 Um, but what you end up doing is it's

1:36:47 not optimal for every system that you run on.

1:36:50 And what we have found is that because it's not optimal,

1:36:53 there's a whole bunch of hidden performance that can be unlocked if we

1:36:59 use the software um in a manner that works best with our hardware.

1:37:04 And so a few years back, we introduced uh Intel application optimization.

1:37:07 I think I came on a couple years ago and talked about that particular Yep.

1:37:11 Yep.

1:37:12 and and that feature sits kind of between

1:37:14 the the application and the operating system.

1:37:18 And it it tells the software a little

1:37:21 bit more about what resources it actually has, right?

1:37:24 And when we do that, uh the software then can allocate

1:37:28 resources based on what we tell it more appropriate to our hardware.

1:37:32 And so when when we see that, we get some performance benefit by only

1:37:35 letting the software see the resources that it it is it it needs.

1:37:41 um and not letting it see other resources, right?

1:37:44 Um there's some limits to that and we found there's

1:37:48 also some benefits in what the hardware pipeline is filled with.

1:37:54 So we looked at the we have Intel uniquely has um

1:37:57 some features called performance monitoring units

1:38:00 and they're spread throughout our hardware.

1:38:02 They've been around for a while.

1:38:03 We are experts in this area and before uh the state servers and data centers

1:38:09 were using it to determine how well

1:38:11 their pipelines were being utilized on the server

1:38:13 side and it offered a whole bunch of great information um for administers um

1:38:18 if there's any administrators out there for servers you know what what tool like

1:38:23 um when we looked at it with games running we're

1:38:26 like oh my gosh there's a whole bunch of prefetchers not

1:38:29 being used or stalls are happening or branch mispredicts are all

1:38:34 over the place because software code wasn't efficiently using our hardware.

1:38:39 And so we had some additional tools that were brought

1:38:42 online with hardware profileguided optimizations that allowed us to specifically

1:38:48 hone in on which portions of our hardware were not

1:38:51 being used well by particular software that was running on it.

1:38:55 And so a while about 2021 2020 we started putting these pieces together.

1:39:00 Oh wow.

1:39:00 and and building what you see now.

1:39:05 Yeah.

1:39:05 Yeah.

1:39:05 It it takes a long time for the pipeline.

1:39:07 It does.

1:39:07 Well, that's what he was saying like we're planning to

1:39:10 I know.

1:39:10 I know.

1:39:11 It's just But it's f it's interesting enough

1:39:12 because you're hearing this stuff and you're like,

1:39:13 "Oh, it makes a lot of sense." But then you're like,

1:39:15 "Oh, yeah, but that didn't make as much sense in 2020

1:39:18 that you guys were thinking that far ahead." But you're absolutely right.

1:39:21 Right.

1:39:21 So,

1:39:23 okay.

1:39:23 So, so now that we have talk about it,

1:39:26 so this is kind of where ibot was born or this is ibot,

1:39:29 which by ibot I mean Intel binary optimization tool.

1:39:32 Intel binary optimization tool.

1:39:34 Yeah, it's a plus.

1:39:35 Um, but that was a good one too.

1:39:38 I like that one scorecard.

1:39:41 Good.

1:39:42 I like that.

1:39:44 Zinger thinking about it though uh from a from a how do we optimize um how

1:39:50 the software gets its information to our hardware

1:39:53 and um and a compiler is what does that

1:39:57 now not all Intel supplies compilers or influences

1:40:00 a lot of compilers that are in the ecosystem

1:40:03 and some compilers are better than others some are more general purpose

1:40:07 and some some include instrumentation and benefits that are take

1:40:12 advantage of the latest features that are in our hardware.

1:40:16 And so some ISVS, some software vendors will use our latest and greatest

1:40:20 and they will have a lot of the the pipelines are efficiently filled.

1:40:24 The software works without a lot of gaps or mispredicts or problems

1:40:28 with you know uh inside the silicon um and others will not.

1:40:35 And so our goal was to say well we

1:40:37 can't influence the way that software is being compiled.

1:40:41 We can we can go out and talk to the ISVs but they have limitations.

1:40:45 They have resourcing.

1:40:46 Um what could we do at a finished product level once the compiler generates

1:40:52 the machine code and you run the executable

1:40:54 on your hardware on your your particular system?

1:40:57 What could we do at that level that would allow our pipelines

1:41:01 to be more efficiently filled and to give you the end user better performance?

1:41:06 And that's where Intel binary optimization came in.

1:41:10 No, that's that that's pretty I have one of the one of the questions

1:41:13 that a lot of people have asked that I've seen on on the forums and on Reddit

1:41:17 a bunch of stuff is like is it like is it running secretly in the background

1:41:22 or or or is actually you can actually opt in or how how does it work?

1:41:25 Yeah.

1:41:26 How does it how does it actually work?

1:41:27 Is I think the the most the most

1:41:29 natural question that we've gotten is like oh okay,

1:41:31 you know what I mean?

1:41:32 Do we just do we just have Aaron come to my house

1:41:34 and turn it on or like you know what I mean?

1:41:35 Is it are you is it like the cable guy?

1:41:39 That would be a plus.

1:41:41 Um, do the easy button.

1:41:44 That was easy.

1:41:48 So, so yeah, we we have a we're starting out slow.

1:41:51 So, you saw with the launch of of the 200s

1:41:54 plus platform or family um that those particular

1:41:58 plus processors um were singled out and uh

1:42:03 they allow for Intel binary optimization to take place.

1:42:06 We do have some hardware hooks that are unique to that product

1:42:09 family um that allow us to do some of these these benefits.

1:42:14 Um we can do others but but there are some that are unique

1:42:18 to the the 200S plus and the the series 3 what was formerly called Panther Lake.

1:42:23 Uh those hooks were included for th those particular

1:42:25 product families to allow us to talk better um

1:42:28 to the silicon and to expose some of the knobs

1:42:31 that we need to do some of the optimizations.

1:42:33 But to your your question, is it running in the background?

1:42:36 Um, it is not running in the background unless you turn it on.

1:42:40 So it the way that you this this product

1:42:42 works is it is part of Intel application optimization

1:42:47 and it comes as part of the Intel platform

1:42:50 performance package which you can download on intel.com today.

1:42:53 Um, if you have a qualifying processor that has those special hooks in it, um,

1:42:58 then Intel binary optimization will show up as an option

1:43:02 that you can choose to turn on um,

1:43:05 underneath the advanced mode in Intel application optimization.

1:43:08 So, you go in, you install the software as part of that installation,

1:43:12 there's a user interface and you check the the advanced mode

1:43:17 on that and Intel binary optimization will pop up with a list of games.

1:43:21 Um, we have 12 games uh to to at at launch.

1:43:25 Uh, we are adding more as we move through this platform.

1:43:28 Um, those 12 games have been very rigorously tested.

1:43:31 We want to make sure as we optimize games

1:43:34 and optimize applications that we're not causing any harm.

1:43:37 Um, and so these things go through a very

1:43:39 rigorous validation process before we release them to you.

1:43:43 Which is similar to Oh, sorry.

1:43:45 No, it's okay.

1:43:46 It we started out this way with Intel application optimization too.

1:43:49 We offered two titles um at the beginning and uh we

1:43:52 expanded titles as as things worked and we felt more comfortable.

1:43:56 Okay.

1:43:56 Yeah.

1:43:56 And so this is where somebody was asking earlier is like

1:43:58 will I have issues with antiche and these are things that you

1:44:01 guys would find out as part of your testing process before

1:44:03 it would run out would roll out to uh more public use.

1:44:07 That that is correct.

1:44:08 So you know Alex sits behind the scenes.

1:44:10 We just let him play 247 and see if he finds any issues.

1:44:13 It's a rough life.

1:44:15 Have you seen Alex play?

1:44:16 I don't think that's good enough testing.

1:44:18 You know what I I think you need to find like another like

1:44:20 I can't I can't is my secret identity.

1:44:22 I cannot like come in here and be like own you guys.

1:44:25 Especially Matt on Tony Hawk.

1:44:26 Maybe we need like Alex plus like a esport player

1:44:30 or like Alex plus like you know a real gamer.

1:44:36 Alex I've seen he is he is a pro at Minecraft.

1:44:46 He's actually You know what?

1:44:47 You know what you do not want to play with him with Aaron is Dead by Daylight.

1:44:51 He's Oh, yeah.

1:44:52 For you.

1:44:54 Educational.

1:44:53 Oh, yeah.

1:44:54 Educational.

1:44:55 Yeah.

1:44:55 If you like being hunted by him, he's like, man, he's got scary.

1:44:59 He's got serial killer vibes, right?

1:45:01 Like, so I'm just saying if you ever just

1:45:02 want to be like completely like caught off guard,

1:45:05 like play play that game with Alex.

1:45:07 I just want to hang out with It's always the quiet one.

1:45:09 Yeah.

1:45:09 Yeah.

1:45:10 No, it's the quiet ones, right?

1:45:11 Yeah.

1:45:12 And you're like, okay.

1:45:13 So, like Yeah.

1:45:14 It's just terrifying.

1:45:15 It's a little crazy.

1:45:16 So Erin, you said that uh we can go.

1:45:20 Yeah, you go.

1:45:21 Yeah, you go in and turn it on.

1:45:22 We've validated those original 12 games.

1:45:25 Um you should see an uplift on systems.

1:45:27 The good news about this is for an architecture,

1:45:30 um the uplift is pretty universal.

1:45:32 So if you see if you see 8% on a 270K plus, right, for a game,

1:45:38 you typically would see 8% on a 250K

1:45:41 plus because it's a it's an architectural improvement

1:45:45 um versus a speed or cores or thread improvement.

1:45:49 That's a lot of increases.

1:45:51 Yeah, it's a lot of pluses.

1:45:52 Yeah.

1:45:53 Yeah, it's a lot of I think Alex and I we did a demo.

1:45:56 It's on YouTube on the Intel technical channel

1:46:00 uh for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and uh

1:46:02 and you can see the benefits that binary optimization provides there.

1:46:05 Um it's it's over 20%.

1:46:08 Wow.

1:46:08 Crazy

1:46:09 significant gain depending depending on which software title we have, right?

1:46:13 Other games don't show as much.

1:46:15 Okay.

1:46:15 Yeah.

1:46:15 Yeah, for sure.

1:46:16 And then when you think about new titles,

1:46:18 like how often do you think because I we

1:46:20 had this conversation before you were on the channel

1:46:22 and we talked about um Core Ultra 200S Plus

1:46:25 and you guys were adding new uh new titles, you know, to the uh to u AP uh um

1:46:32 APO.

1:46:32 APO.

1:46:32 Yeah, I did.

1:46:33 I said it right.

1:46:33 Okay.

1:46:34 I literally just was like, wait, am I saying the wrong thing?

1:46:36 I was like, okay, no.

1:46:37 No.

1:46:37 Yeah.

1:46:37 You on the right track.

1:46:38 I was on the right track.

1:46:39 You know, you might say I was Yeah.

1:46:40 Okay.

1:46:40 My head was in the right place.

1:46:41 Okay.

1:46:42 So, um what do you think in terms of roll out for this?

1:46:44 Do you feel like it'll be relatively fast or you know again for you

1:46:48 guys it's all about being strategic and making sure it's the best experience?

1:46:53 I I actually think it'll be faster than Intel application optimization.

1:46:56 We started out with that program with two titles.

1:46:59 Um by the end of the first program I think we were at 19.

1:47:02 Uh by the end of uh regular 200s non plus um

1:47:08 that was uh we were at near 50 I think 49 titles.

1:47:11 Right.

1:47:12 Uh with this program, we're starting off with 12.

1:47:14 Um I believe we have quite a few in the pipeline.

1:47:17 Um our plan is to release them.

1:47:19 We don't have a regular cadence.

1:47:21 It'll be when validation's complete, right?

1:47:23 Um but I I think by the end of the the 200s plus program,

1:47:29 um we we should see a significant number of of additional titles.

1:47:33 I've got a I've got a question.

1:47:34 I'll jump in for some titles you guys select.

1:47:37 You're allowed you're allowed to be in here.

1:47:39 You're up.

1:47:40 Awesome.

1:47:40 Um Oh my add it to the board.

1:47:43 Um I was curious Aaron like how you guys do select the titles.

1:47:46 Is it based on player base?

1:47:48 Is it based on you guys have with like what

1:47:50 where do you guys go from there on selecting titles?

1:47:53 Yeah.

1:47:53 So for a lot of these there there there's

1:47:55 a variety of ways that we look at which

1:47:58 titles we select uh both for APO and for Intel

1:48:01 application optimization and for Intel binary optimization tool.

1:48:05 Um, we look at the the top titles that reviewers are using um

1:48:09 in their their report out which shows

1:48:11 most of those reflect popular gaming titles.

1:48:14 Um, we also get a list of the hundred top games.

1:48:17 Um, and I think I said this in our last interview.

1:48:19 Yeah, that's right.

1:48:21 The 100 top games from our largest uh online gaming uh providers.

1:48:26 Right?

1:48:27 I can't mention names.

1:48:28 Um, but uh, we get that list of of which ones are used

1:48:32 and then we go through that list and some of them are already optimized, right?

1:48:36 We we run those titles and there's just no improvement because they're either

1:48:40 threaded correctly or they've they've written it

1:48:42 correctly or they've used the latest compiler.

1:48:44 So, there's not a benefit there.

1:48:46 Um, other titles maybe they're not.

1:48:48 And so those we start running tests

1:48:50 and and and of and validation on to make sure

1:48:54 that a we don't cause any problems with the game

1:48:56 and b that the results we have are repeatable.

1:48:59 Um and then once they pass that test then we

1:49:02 can post them for for everybody to go and use.

1:49:05 Um we do have uh some strategic titles as well that are older.

1:49:10 So maybe there's some really popular older games um that are still

1:49:14 widely played that aren't really um the top 100 new AAA titles,

1:49:20 but they're really widely used still.

1:49:21 We will go back and look at those um and we're constantly getting new lists.

1:49:26 So that's the way those titles are selected.

1:49:29 If there is anti-che, right?

1:49:31 So folks have brought this this question up.

1:49:33 Right now, we're working with anti-che vendors um to be able to utilize

1:49:37 some of our optimizations um and not cause a problem with the anti-che.

1:49:42 So, that that is coming.

1:49:44 The titles you'll see these initial 12

1:49:46 either we've worked with the anti-cheat vendor

1:49:48 to allow our optimizations to occur or they

1:49:51 don't have anti-che um in the game itself.

1:49:53 I mean, you have to keep a games like Snake

1:49:55 and Mind Sweeper in there because this is one of the only

1:49:58 because that's the only games that you play.

1:50:01 Exactly.

1:50:00 Yeah, it is.

1:50:01 That's actually not true.

1:50:01 He plays he plays lots of different games.

1:50:04 A couple questions that they that I thought were

1:50:06 kind of good questions that kind of came out.

1:50:07 First and foremost, is there something

1:50:09 that a developer can do to break the optimization?

1:50:12 Like so if there's something they could do that would

1:50:14 make it where it didn't work would be one question.

1:50:16 And the second one was as you do this with more and more titles,

1:50:19 if you find something that globally seems to bring about performance,

1:50:23 is there a way to make that so you're like, "Oh,

1:50:25 I wonder if we could just turn this on holistically." Right?

1:50:28 Might be a Those are good.

1:50:29 That feels like good questions.

1:50:31 Those are both great questions.

1:50:32 So uh for the first one right if if a if a game

1:50:36 provider and we talk to the game providers uh before we do a lot

1:50:40 of these optimizations what we would love to do um and we do

1:50:43 in in many instances is we look at the benefits and how those benefits are

1:50:48 being provided to their code and we will reapproach that vendor and say hey

1:50:52 did you know if you changed your code to feed information into our processor

1:50:57 this way that you could get an 8% performance gain or a 20%

1:51:01 performance gain And some of those vendors uh will take that to heart, right?

1:51:06 We talked to one vendor with Intel application optimization um and they changed

1:51:11 their game um and they released they released an update for that game.

1:51:14 Yeah.

1:51:15 Um we we saw the benefit go from 18% with APO on to 0%.

1:51:21 Right.

1:51:21 So we actually took that game title away,

1:51:23 but it wasn't because the optimizations didn't work anymore.

1:51:27 It was because that vendor issued an update, right?

1:51:29 that that gave everybody that 18% without having to run our software.

1:51:34 Um, so that is the end goal, right?

1:51:36 Is to help lift all boats and if the vendors would love to we

1:51:40 would love to talk to them and help them to understand maybe where

1:51:43 their code's not working super well on our our hardware and we will tell

1:51:47 them these are the things that need to be changed for you to do that.

1:51:51 Um, if they don't have resources or maybe

1:51:53 they're they're they don't want to do the change.

1:51:55 um some games are already released or titles

1:51:57 are released so they're they're not making changes.

1:52:00 Um then uh then that's where Intel binary optimization can fill in that gap.

1:52:06 uh answer the second question um that you had

1:52:09 right on um remind me again what was the

1:52:13 it was just like a general if there's like something

1:52:14 generally that you guys find as you're going through and optimizing

1:52:18 you're like oh there's this one seems to be an effect

1:52:19 that'll lift all boats right you know say for whatever

1:52:23 is there a way to like release that you know what I mean so it's just

1:52:25 something that you guys would holistically do without

1:52:27 having to use software or anything like that yeah

1:52:30 yeah yeah I knew the um I knew it had to do

1:52:32 with with broad optimization so we do we do have as we optimize games,

1:52:37 we have found um that certain game engines, right?

1:52:41 So, a lot of a lot of ISVs use a similar

1:52:44 engine to do their their their benefits in their in their game.

1:52:47 Um and so if there's a similar engine,

1:52:50 that engine sometimes can has the same benefit across multiple game games.

1:52:55 So, you can look at maybe all titles that use this engine

1:52:59 and know that this particular benefit will work on most of those titles.

1:53:04 Wow.

1:53:04 Okay.

1:53:05 No, that makes sense.

1:53:06 Aaron,

1:53:09 yeah.

1:53:08 Oh, sorry.

1:53:08 Uh, one last question.

1:53:10 Uh, it actually also in the chat is like,

1:53:12 so which processors are currently supported and what's the plan for that?

1:53:17 Yeah.

1:53:17 So, the uh the Intel Oh, you're going to love pluses.

1:53:20 Um, our our desktop product family.

1:53:24 Uh, so that that's the U7 U5K plus 200S series.

1:53:29 Um, all of those support Intel binary optimization tool.

1:53:33 um for the 3 series on um on what was formerly called Panther Lake

1:53:38 but on mobile um most of those processors

1:53:42 will support Intel binary optimization tool.

1:53:45 Um however you may not see a lot of benefit

1:53:48 on uh mobile processors that don't have discrete graphics and the reason

1:53:53 being is um the graphics card becomes the the limiting factor

1:53:57 right as powerful as our 12xe systems are which they are great

1:54:03 um for for gaming at some of the resolutions

1:54:06 that folks would like to run at the the GPU is

1:54:09 going to be the bottleneck and so improving the CPU

1:54:12 throughput isn't going to net you any additional frames per second.

1:54:16 Got it.

1:54:17 You're going to GPU bottleneck.

1:54:19 So, um and then the Aerolake uh 200 uh S uh plus mobile systems,

1:54:26 what we call HX, um those systems also will support binary optimization.

1:54:31 So all of the plus systems essentially that you guys have all the plus

1:54:34 you know and would if there if there

1:54:36 are future plus ones would those added as well

1:54:39 or like are you just is the plus the the the moniker to get it in?

1:54:44 Yeah.

1:54:44 The best part is he says it with a smirk

1:54:46 on his face and he always looks at me he's like the more plus.

1:54:52 And then just to remind people last, you know, at the very end,

1:54:55 if people want to get this, they they end up buying a 270K

1:54:58 or a 250K and they want to go and get uh get IBOT,

1:55:02 where do they how do they get it again?

1:55:03 One more time, just so for the people who are just joining.

1:55:06 Yeah.

1:55:06 So, as as Rod mentioned, we made this really easy, right?

1:55:09 So um if it is not installed on your platform by default

1:55:13 um or you're purchasing and putting your system together um go to intel.com

1:55:17 on our download center for the Intel platform performance package and when you

1:55:23 find that or you can go

1:55:24 to binary optimization tool or Intel application optimization.

1:55:27 You can go to any of those landing pages

1:55:29 and it will refer you to the Intel platform performance package.

1:55:32 I should add another because it's a P.

1:55:35 Um but uh you go there it's a single click.

1:55:38 Thank you.

1:55:39 And uh it will install all of the necessary

1:55:42 drivers and UI to get you up and going.

1:55:45 There we go.

1:55:46 Well, thank you so much, Aaron, for joining us.

1:55:49 It was so awesome.

1:55:50 I think uh Alex is actually really excited because

1:55:52 we said we were going to give Aaron the chance.

1:55:53 We're not going to give any of the other guys a chance because honestly,

1:55:56 you guys can beat him up at work, too.

1:55:58 And why not be able to just do it remotely while he's out here?

1:56:00 I mean, he's like two cubes away from

1:56:02 Exactly.

1:56:02 So, he's going to come and be like, "How are those arms?" I mean,

1:56:06 feels like it feels like ever since you got back from this workout,

1:56:08 you just you're plused up, bro.

1:56:10 You know what I mean?

1:56:10 Like you're just that much bigger.

1:56:12 So, it's going to be awesome.

1:56:13 But again, thank you, Aaron, for joining us.

1:56:15 Uh huge wealth of information that we got to share.

1:56:18 And uh honestly, even Araxus was like, I'm just taking it in, right?

1:56:22 Like he he loves it.

1:56:23 So, really appreciate it.

1:56:24 Have a good rest of your day.

1:56:26 Uh continue to innovate 200 years ahead of us, right?

1:56:30 I would

1:56:31 like Aaron is going to like move

1:56:33 on to the next world and he's still like getting like,

1:56:35 "Oh, this was developed by Aaron." I can't I can't even I can't even

1:56:38 figure out what I'm going to wear tomorrow, right?

1:56:40 I just keep looking at his shirt cuz

1:56:41 he stole it from Robert's house and I'm like,

1:56:43 "Well, do I need to go get the same one?" Yeah.

1:56:45 Yeah.

1:56:45 But anyway, Aaron, thank you so much.

1:56:47 Have a good rest of your day and we'll see you guys.

1:56:49 We'll see you.

1:56:49 I'm sure we will see you again on the future.

1:56:52 Yeah.

1:56:52 Yeah, for sure.

1:56:53 Bye, Aaron.

1:56:54 Thank good.

1:56:57 Um, while we queue up our next guests coming in, um, Rubio,

1:57:01 I was curious if we should start the giveaway for the last PC that we built.

1:57:05 Yes.

1:57:05 Yes.

1:57:05 Oh, that would be a that would be a good idea, right?

1:57:07 For sure.

1:57:08 Let me I'll be back.

1:57:09 Oh, he's going to Well, there is an Easter egg that I need

1:57:12 to I don't know if Matt remembers there's an Easter egg.

1:57:17 Yeah, Roby has no idea what the heck is going on right now.

1:57:20 Oh.

1:57:20 Oh, okay.

1:57:20 Okay.

1:57:21 Yeah, there we go.

1:57:22 Okay.

1:57:22 So, I'm going to do real quick while we're doing that.

1:57:24 I'm going to get the motherboard in this building.

1:57:28 Let's continue building and then why don't we go ahead and uh are you

1:57:31 going to you want to wait till he comes back to do the giveaway?

1:57:35 Um no, I think we can just start.

1:57:38 Yeah, there you go.

1:57:38 Cue that up.

1:57:39 And then I wanted to let people know on chats.

1:57:41 So on Discord and Twitch,

1:57:42 you guys have probably seen some of the giveaways running.

1:57:44 Got Intel swag kits.

1:57:45 And I think Alex is changing his shirt to one

1:57:46 of the shirts that's going to be in those swag kits.

1:57:49 on Discord since I can post images.

1:57:51 I'll put the an image of what that looks like once he shows up with it.

1:57:54 And then I do want people to tell me what the uh Easter egg is.

1:58:00 If you can guess what the Easter egg is based on the shirt,

1:58:02 I want to give one of the shirts away in a swag kit to that person.

1:58:06 So, I'll try to keep a lookout for who guesses it first.

1:58:08 Um, but it is a a sneaky and fun design that we worked on.

1:58:11 So, yeah.

1:58:13 And honestly, again, huge.

1:58:14 I I think the one thing is like as we

1:58:16 as we do shows like this, understand it definitely takes a team,

1:58:20 doesn't it, Matt, to to run all

1:58:21 these things and pull all these shows off, right?

1:58:23 So, um again, huge shout out to the CFLi team um

1:58:27 for just being such an incredible supporter here on the channel.

1:58:30 And uh they're, you know, the community game,

1:58:32 which we're going to be doing a little bit later,

1:58:33 and all that sort of stuff, right?

1:58:34 Like they're the ones who bring all

1:58:36 that magic in just to keep you guys entertained

1:58:38 while we uh while while Alex and I

1:58:40 just continue to make Alex more buff, apparently.

1:58:42 It's the way that we seem to be going right now.

1:58:44 Um, but yeah.

1:58:45 So, um, it's not going to be it's not a plus-size shirt.

1:58:50 No, it's Well, not for him.

1:58:51 THERE HE GOES.

1:58:52 OH, HE'S GOT IT ON.

1:58:53 OH, DUDE.

1:58:53 DO YOU HAVE to do one for every plus on it?

1:58:59 Every plus on there.

1:58:59 I mean, do I count the pluses that are on the shirt or do we?

1:59:04 That's not part of the Easter egg as far as like how many there are.

1:59:07 I suppose that that'd be a misdirection, but Oh, well.

1:59:10 Yeah.

1:59:10 I don't know.

1:59:11 Well, well, well, maybe it's a clue.

1:59:14 Maybe it's a clue.

1:59:16 Is it a clue?

1:59:17 Is it a clue?

1:59:17 Is it a clue?

1:59:18 Yeah.

1:59:18 Like, if anybody knows what the what the design is kind of uh harkening after,

1:59:23 then let me know in the chat if you can pick it up.

1:59:25 Um, tag me on Discord and then tag Intel.

1:59:29 Um, but anyway, that's the new shirt.

1:59:30 We're going to have it in swag kits, so we're giving out.

1:59:32 I actually hadn't seen it.

1:59:33 Oh, wait.

1:59:33 And the back.

1:59:34 Check it out.

1:59:36 Oh, there is something on the back.

1:59:37 At first, you turned around.

1:59:38 I was like, there's nothing there, Alex.

1:59:39 And then all of a sudden, I was like, oh, never mind.

1:59:41 Just in your imagination.

1:59:42 Yeah, that's pretty cool actually.

1:59:44 That is a really cool shirt.

1:59:46 Battle, you know, you you sunk my battleship.

1:59:49 You sunk my battleship.

1:59:51 It is blurful.

1:59:52 We love you guys.

1:59:53 We got it in blur.

1:59:54 And I really, you know, we should really probably, you know,

1:59:56 I was thinking as we go through today and stuff like that, we

1:59:59 don't really use that color all that much as our RGB setting.

2:00:03 Never.

2:00:02 Never.

2:00:03 So, I mean, we should

2:00:03 do that here for the first time.

2:00:04 We should do that for the first time ever is do do add blur, right?

2:00:08 I feel like that's

2:00:08 I think I mean it goes great with Is that is that like blue and purple combined?

2:00:13 Yeah, dude.

2:00:13 That's so innovative, right?

2:00:15 Like I really

2:00:17 revolutionary.

2:00:17 I know.

2:00:17 I just like PowerPoint on Twitch.

2:00:19 Why didn't we think about it before?

2:00:21 Like that's the question, right?

2:00:22 Like I feel like

2:00:23 it's a missed opportunity opportunity that we need to take advantage every day.

2:00:27 Every time every color like at least once, you know, we should blur

2:00:32 Oh, that was easy breezy.

2:00:34 Beautiful.

2:00:34 Yeah, it just makes it easy to get in there, right?

2:00:36 I know.

2:00:37 Okay, here we go.

2:00:37 Ready?

2:00:38 All right, I'll settle down.

2:00:39 Oh, did you see how fast that was?

2:00:40 So fast.

2:00:41 Oh my god.

2:00:42 Like a ninja.

2:00:43 You know what?

2:00:44 That was easy.

2:00:44 That was easy.

2:00:47 Yeah.

2:00:47 I don't So what what is our count at right like after Aaron?

2:00:50 Cuz I feel like Aaron really kind of took it above

2:00:52 and beyond and did a much better job of being subtle about getting other people.

2:00:58 This is super subtle.

2:00:59 Super subtle.

2:00:59 Um we're around and I I'll say that I'm

2:01:02 working on other stuff monitoring things at the same time,

2:01:04 but it says 73 on my account.

2:01:07 So, wait, is that even with the

2:01:09 plus or minus five?

2:01:10 You know, that's probably where we're at.

2:01:12 The the 21 that the 20 that I took off last time.

2:01:15 All right.

2:01:16 I mean, that's the total count.

2:01:17 So, you you did contribute already to your your 20 bush.

2:01:21 So, you're good on those.

2:01:22 Well, how many I have left?

2:01:23 That's the That's the question.

2:01:25 Okay.

2:01:25 Please tell me you can do 70 minus 20.

2:01:30 Are you that tired?

2:01:31 It's

2:01:35 two.

2:01:35 I know.

2:01:35 Thank you.

2:01:36 Jennifer saw that you did some minuses in there to remove a couple just in case.

2:01:41 Here, I'm going to put in my into my calculator.

2:01:43 And

2:01:44 yeah, it looks like it's 72.

2:01:51 My Thanks.

2:01:53 Thank you very much, Matt.

2:01:54 I really appreciate that.

2:01:56 That was good.

2:01:58 I need ointment.

2:01:58 That was You need Yeah, you do.

2:02:01 You need ointment.

2:02:02 You need something like that.

2:02:03 So, did somebody figure out has anybody have you seen it come up in the in the

2:02:07 No, I've seen some good guesses.

2:02:09 I've seen some good guesses.

2:02:10 Um,

2:02:10 man, by the way, if you're not right,

2:02:13 Matt's really clear about Matt's really clear about when you're not right.

2:02:20 Oh, he he's I'll give one if you're if you're looking at Twitch,

2:02:25 uh, in Need of Temperance had a very good guess.

2:02:29 And we'll leave it at that.

2:02:30 But he did say uh or they said,

2:02:32 "Is Alex's shirt the Big Dipper?" It is not the Big Dipper.

2:02:34 But that's a very good guess.

2:02:36 It's close.

2:02:36 It's close.

2:02:37 It's the Little Dipper.

2:02:39 Oh, wait.

2:02:41 Oh, Sagittarius is close.

2:02:44 It is the age of Aquarius.

2:02:47 The age of Aquarius.

2:02:50 I kind of want to say plus like 80 times just to get you to stop.

2:02:55 You only have to say it.

2:02:57 Uh, you can't.

2:02:58 You said you said you said you couldn't do a hundred.

2:03:01 So now I'm really worried for you.

2:03:02 Hey um, hey Papa Tech, can we get uh, EMT on standby?

2:03:09 Like are we all of a sudden like what

2:03:10 did do we have the appropriate waivers signed for this?

2:03:13 Are we

2:03:14 So we are at the calculator set 72.

2:03:17 No, no, no, no, wait.

2:03:18 I thought he said that.

2:03:19 Did that account for the

2:03:20 Well, that's what I was saying, but you guys keep saying

2:03:22 No, he said no.

2:03:23 He said, but he said he didn't take out the 20.

2:03:25 So now you're at you have 52 left.

2:03:28 Is that true there?

2:03:29 Uh voice of God.

2:03:32 Voice of God.

2:03:34 About 72.

2:03:34 So yeah, 52 total remaining push-ups.

2:03:38 I I I feel sorry for your accountant, but

2:03:40 I feel sorry just for your arms.

2:03:43 Do we need

2:03:44 Do we need to like get you some like like do I need to get like a like a

2:03:48 It's all It's all good.

2:03:49 It's just okay getting ready for May

2:03:51 while we uh queue up our next guest cuz we have our guest queued up I believe.

2:03:55 Um

2:03:56 we we're getting some good guesses in chat for the shirt.

2:03:59 Um I'll say that it's not cosmically close

2:04:01 to the Big Dipper is where people are kind of nearing.

2:04:05 Um it is a constellation.

2:04:06 It is a very is not a constellation of push-ups.

2:04:09 So okay, so that it's not the constellation of push-ups.

2:04:11 He's done.

2:04:12 One 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 That was easy.

2:04:21 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 Nope.

2:04:29 17 18 19 20.

2:04:34 Dude, you got to do them in like sons of TW.

2:04:36 How like can you Okay, so you're down to 32 and we're done.

2:04:40 We are done.

2:04:41 Like we have to be done because

2:04:43 ah somebody got it.

2:04:44 Somebody got it.

2:04:44 What was it?

2:04:45 What was it?

2:04:45 Blazing heart for you.

2:04:46 It's the Sigita constellation which is the arrow constellation.

2:04:49 The Vegeta lake.

2:04:50 It's the Vegeta constellation.

2:04:53 Sagittarius.

2:04:54 Saga.

2:04:55 Sagittarius is the larger constellation.

2:04:57 So it's not confus.

2:05:00 Fajitas are so good.

2:05:02 Saga is the arrow constellation.

2:05:06 You got it right.

2:05:07 So I'll get you I'll contact you for a swag kit.

2:05:09 Yeah.

2:05:09 It's awesome.

2:05:10 Yeah, dude.

2:05:10 And this in all her Vegeta.

2:05:14 I like that.

2:05:17 Vegeta.

2:05:17 Vegeta.

2:05:17 What was how do you call this?

2:05:19 How do you call in English?

2:05:22 Um I have no idea what you just said.

2:05:25 Saint Seiya.

2:05:26 Oh, okay.

2:05:28 Siya.

2:05:28 Is that another kind of fa?

2:05:30 No.

2:05:30 Siya is a a very popular anime.

2:05:33 Thank you.

2:05:34 Thank you, Big Spy.

2:05:35 Yeah, siya.

2:05:37 I will say though, we are having Mexican for dinner

2:05:40 and fajitas for sure will be will be will be consumed.

2:05:43 I just want to let you know and this is and it is 2:00 which

2:05:46 is pretty much when we normally start talking about food even when we had food.

2:05:50 We had food just when we started.

2:05:52 We did and uh but you've done like uh you've done like 65 I don't know

2:05:58 and then I did I did 50 or 60 push-ups.

2:06:01 I turned 70.

2:06:02 You read that.

2:06:03 I've done like 80.

2:06:04 I only said 70 plus.

2:06:05 I did 80 inches once.

2:06:10 Um Oh, guys, by the way,

2:06:12 so we have this in, but we have our next guest queued up.

2:06:14 Oh, yes,

2:06:15 we do.

2:06:15 We have our next guest queued up.

2:06:16 So, if we're we're going to go ahead and start

2:06:18 prepping for our next guest, which is Mike Kim.

2:06:21 Mike Kim.

2:06:22 Mike Kim.

2:06:24 Not Well, he's already miked, but I mean Mike Kim is here, right?

2:06:27 Oh, there he is.

2:06:28 Okay, Mike, I hear you.

2:06:31 Hello.

2:06:31 Hey, Mike.

2:06:33 How you guys doing?

2:06:34 We're doing so good.

2:06:35 Uh, I will just say Alex is so ripped right now, right?

2:06:39 Like, and uh, yeah, it's just like it's just like he's just getting stronger.

2:06:44 And meanwhile, I just feel more lethargic, which is really making me sad.

2:06:48 I don't know how to deal with this.

2:06:50 But I have to say, your your form is fantastic.

2:06:53 Like, I I don't think I've seen like perfect push-ups like that in a long time.

2:06:58 Yeah.

2:06:58 Yeah.

2:06:59 Yeah.

2:06:59 Thanks.

2:06:59 I really I work hard.

2:07:00 Oh, YOU'RE TALKING TO ALEX.

2:07:02 OH, cuz I did 10.

2:07:03 Bows.

2:07:03 No.

2:07:04 Bows.

2:07:04 I did 10.

2:07:05 I did I DID 10.

2:07:07 I DID 10.

2:07:08 I DID 10.

2:07:09 YOUR four was really good, too.

2:07:11 Okay.

2:07:11 All right.

2:07:11 Good.

2:07:12 Thanks.

2:07:13 I app I appreciate it.

2:07:14 I appreciate it.

2:07:15 Thank you.

2:07:15 I worked really hard on it.

2:07:16 Um anyway, um but uh it's so good to have you here.

2:07:20 I know.

2:07:21 Just so Mike knows and it's right back here.

2:07:24 My first PC build, Mike, ever was in an NZXT uh NZXT case,

2:07:30 a collaboration you did, and we actually got to upgrade it on our show.

2:07:33 Yeah, we upgraded on the show.

2:07:35 Um, so we've Yeah, and we've got some we got some poochies laying around,

2:07:38 of course, we've got from from all sorts of people.

2:07:40 But yeah, NZXT, longtime uh supporter of the show,

2:07:43 so it's good to have you here.

2:07:44 There it is.

2:07:45 Yeah, Poochie's there.

2:07:46 Um, but yeah, it's good to have you here.

2:07:48 How how are you?

2:07:49 And and for those who don't know who you are, say hi, Mike,

2:07:52 and tell us tell us who you are and what you do for NZXT.

2:07:55 Without pleas, don't worry.

2:08:00 Uh but hi everyone.

2:08:01 My name is Mike Kim.

2:08:02 I am the social community manager here at NZXT.

2:08:05 Uh so anything you see on social media,

2:08:08 uh Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok.

2:08:10 I also handle the uh Discord and community and our NZXT info club,

2:08:15 which I am wearing the shirt and hat of right now.

2:08:19 Yeah.

2:08:20 So, uh I I I will no shame whenever I talk about the club,

2:08:23 but uh I handle all that stuff right now and uh super excited to be here.

2:08:27 Thanks for having me.

2:08:28 No, man.

2:08:29 We're very excited to have you here and we also have very excited to have NZXT.

2:08:33 I mean, we have done a plethora of builds

2:08:36 with with NZXT in it and we just very very excited.

2:08:39 Oh man.

2:08:40 So tell me, so why what what does NZXT bring to table?

2:08:44 What makes it different?

2:08:46 What what do you love about NZXT?

2:08:48 Oh man.

2:08:49 Uh I don't want to go too much,

2:08:51 but uh I was one of the first ever interns, I think.

2:08:55 Uh yeah, it was a 20 It was right before I finished college.

2:09:00 So 2019, 2018, something like that was like I

2:09:03 was one of the first interns here and uh

2:09:05 I was a social media intern and that was

2:09:08 that was so this was before Tik Tok and everything.

2:09:10 So like for some people here it's like what's Tik Tok?

2:09:15 Tik Tok.

2:09:16 Wow.

2:09:16 Okay.

2:09:18 Oh man, what's up boomer?

2:09:21 I mean that that the okay boomer was literally part of that.

2:09:25 So uh I was uh you know I I loved it.

2:09:29 Finished up uh college.

2:09:31 Obviously co hit so that was tough for everyone.

2:09:33 Yes.

2:09:34 Um but then you know I stayed here at the company ever since then.

2:09:36 I've been here for oh gosh I think like five years now.

2:09:40 So almost half a decade already.

2:09:42 If not half decade I think.

2:09:43 Half a decade.

2:09:44 Half a decade.

2:09:44 Oh man you're over the hill.

2:09:46 Yeah.

2:09:47 Yeah, I don't know, man.

2:09:48 It's uh it's it's time.

2:09:50 But uh yeah, you know, I I lived in many places.

2:09:52 I worked remotely.

2:09:53 I actually uh did a couple videos with uh Roi in Seattle when I lived there.

2:09:57 Yes, you did.

2:09:58 I was That's You know what?

2:10:00 It's funny.

2:10:00 I thought And I I didn't want to be one of those guys.

2:10:03 It's like, didn't we do a video together?

2:10:05 Like we did that.

2:10:06 We shot it over at uh in uh Seattle at the university, right?

2:10:10 Yeah.

2:10:11 Yeah.

2:10:11 Udub.

2:10:11 Yeah.

2:10:11 Yeah.

2:10:12 Yeah.

2:10:12 Uh it was that was that was so fun to like

2:10:14 talk with like all these like guests and everything like that.

2:10:17 So uh that was that was you know ever since then I've been part

2:10:20 of social and uh we loving that we are able to help support Intel throughout all

2:10:25 this and it's been really really dope uh to see like the I've been seeing

2:10:29 all the reviews on the the CPU

2:10:32 and everything and I'm just so overall so impressed.

2:10:36 Well, thank you.

2:10:37 Thank you.

2:10:37 I mean uh I mean it definitely takes takes not only

2:10:40 a team at Intel but also with with you guys too, right?

2:10:43 Cuz you know we just we're just one one cog of the whole

2:10:45 thing and you guys provide a lot of great great products in there.

2:10:49 So no, I mean it yeah takes all together

2:10:52 and we're just happy that we can all provide something

2:10:54 to to all the tech enthusiasts and and DIYers

2:10:58 and everybody out there when it comes to to gaming.

2:11:00 Oh yeah.

2:11:01 It's funny.

2:11:01 It's funny enough like we had to finally

2:11:02 tell Alex to stop taking all the credit.

2:11:04 He was like, "Yeah, I thought everything.

2:11:06 I did it all.

2:11:07 I went into the fab and made each one of them.

2:11:11 I was there for months.

2:11:12 I was there for

2:11:12 maybe that credits do.

2:11:17 Yeah.

2:11:17 It's like just so you know, you're welcome.

2:11:19 He was like feeling like Moana.

2:11:21 He was like Moana

2:11:23 going from there.

2:11:24 Um

2:11:24 see what's happening here.

2:11:25 Yeah, for sure.

2:11:26 So, uh tell us a little bit about uh NZXT's offerings for uh the new plus CPUs.

2:11:31 Like what are what are the options and uh

2:11:33 what can people do and what can people get?

2:11:35 um with the new 270K and the 250K.

2:11:38 Yeah, I mean right now uh I mean gosh,

2:11:41 I've been seeing so much awesome stuff under reviews of you know with IBOT.

2:11:45 Oh, can can I say Ibot or do I have to do I have to Oh, no.

2:11:48 You can say Ibot.

2:11:48 Ibot is rad.

2:11:50 I'm surprised at that.

2:11:51 We need an Ibot shirt, by the way.

2:11:53 Oh, we do.

2:11:54 I mean that I mean like No, you know what?

2:11:55 Like an eyebot.

2:11:56 Like like an Ibot.

2:11:57 Like you know what I mean?

2:11:58 All right.

2:11:58 All right.

2:11:58 Let's get into that.

2:11:59 I'll get into that.

2:12:00 I just notice how I looked at him and he said,

2:12:01 "We need an Ibot shirt." I don't know why.

2:12:03 Yeah.

2:12:03 He's going to write it down.

2:12:04 It's never going to happen.

2:12:05 Just like our secret layer.

2:12:07 Just like our secret layer.

2:12:08 I was not responsible.

2:12:09 Yeah, I know.

2:12:09 We got to talk to Sarah and it still hasn't happened.

2:12:11 But she did beat Final Fantasy.

2:12:12 Okay.

2:12:13 Sorry.

2:12:13 You can say Ibot was the short of that whole

2:12:15 thing that we just completely went off rails for.

2:12:17 Go ahead.

2:12:18 I was I was like I was like, "Oh man, do do I should I say the whole thing?

2:12:20 I don't know if we're going to Well, dails.

2:12:23 That's okay.

2:12:23 The police is going to be showing up in your house here in a couple seconds.

2:12:26 Yeah.

2:12:27 Uh hey, I I'll be okay with that.

2:12:29 Uh but yeah, no, we're we're loving the all the stuff that, you know,

2:12:33 we're getting from our DMs.

2:12:34 You know, people are really excited about the new CPUs.

2:12:37 Uh we'll be introducing them into our lineup very very soon.

2:12:39 So, super super excited about that.

2:12:41 Uh it hasn't been out yet, but we have uh plans for it.

2:12:45 It's going to be with the uh Ultra 7 270K.

2:12:48 I won't say the word.

2:12:49 And then with uh I think

2:12:51 you can say there's repercussions.

2:12:54 There's repercussions, but they're good repercussions.

2:12:56 It's not for you.

2:12:58 So, it is going to be with the Core Ultra 7270K Plus.

2:13:02 Uh, and it will be paired with the 5070 and I think 32 GB of D.

2:13:07 Wow, nice.

2:13:07 Okay.

2:13:07 Wow, that's a really nice system.

2:13:10 And is that like one of your player two, player ones?

2:13:12 Like, would you guys have that figured out yet or No, not really.

2:13:15 Yeah, I think it'll be our player two PCs.

2:13:18 It's going to be mainly for those that are there for like, you know,

2:13:21 some really intense heavy gaming,

2:13:23 maybe some streaming that you also want to do on the side.

2:13:26 Uh, I mean the CPUs can will handle that no problem.

2:13:28 So, right.

2:13:29 Right.

2:13:29 For sure.

2:13:30 Yeah.

2:13:31 So, so when you guys are designing the systems

2:13:33 and bringing together like you guys do some testing to it,

2:13:35 some some stress testing like I do with a lot

2:13:37 of video games and when we get new processors,

2:13:39 I just tell my boss like I'm gone for a month.

2:13:41 I need to stress this processor rigorously through all the games that I play.

2:13:46 Like we said before,

2:13:47 I just I don't think Barbie Horse Adventure counts as stress testing, Alex.

2:13:52 Hey, hey, just just don't don't don't knock

2:13:55 it off with you until you have tried it.

2:13:57 I mean, my horse Dino is the best.

2:14:00 Batchy is up there, but Dino and Batchy love you guys.

2:14:08 What just happened?

2:14:12 He really kept going with that.

2:14:14 He even named the horses.

2:14:15 I I have a feeling that this is actually true at this point.

2:14:18 Yeah, I know.

2:14:18 Like, now I'm starting to think he actually plays this game.

2:14:20 I was just joking, but maybe he really is into it.

2:14:25 Go back to the real question.

2:14:26 Go back.

2:14:27 Yes, please.

2:14:27 Let's go back to serious question.

2:14:29 Yeah, it's a serious question.

2:14:30 Okay, continuing.

2:14:31 Okay.

2:14:31 Yeah.

2:14:32 Um Yeah.

2:14:32 So, again, do you guys like tell us about because I think this is

2:14:36 one of the things that I think people don't understand is um for SIS, right?

2:14:41 You guys have to do a lot of support and so there's a lot of testing you

2:14:44 guys do when you roll out new SKs

2:14:47 to make sure that they're super ready for public consumption.

2:14:50 So tell us a little bit about that process

2:14:52 and then you know there's maybe a reason why

2:14:54 you got to make sure that you put the heat sinker the correct way.

2:14:56 So yeah.

2:14:56 Well, thanks.

2:14:57 Thanks for calling that out already.

2:14:58 Yeah.

2:14:58 Yeah.

2:14:59 Make sure you put the air cooler on right.

2:15:02 It's why they haven't hired me yet.

2:15:04 Hey, it's okay.

2:15:04 It's okay.

2:15:05 We all make mistakes.

2:15:06 Don't worry, man.

2:15:06 It happens, you know.

2:15:07 But uh yeah, we do we do a ton of stress testing.

2:15:10 Uh um one of our favorite things actually I I I

2:15:13 wanted to do this when I was interning but they wouldn't let

2:15:16 me because they won't trust the intern with uh nearly all

2:15:19 those things was to try doing all these stress testing that they do.

2:15:22 They do a lot of like Dut rendering.

2:15:24 Um oh gosh I can't I don't have the thing

2:15:27 off the top of my head but the the software

2:15:28 that basically runs like everything at like max things try

2:15:31 to test out the the system the temperatures and everything like that.

2:15:35 Uh I think it starts with OC OCCT OC.

2:15:39 Thank you.

2:15:39 Thank you.

2:15:40 You know me.

2:15:40 Yeah, CCT.

2:15:42 Yeah, you know me.

2:15:43 Okay.

2:15:43 Sorry, that was we Sorry.

2:15:45 Yeah, we we're hungry.

2:15:46 Just keep I I'm excited to see you guys eat some tacos later, so that'll be fun.

2:15:50 We got some fajitas.

2:15:53 Fas it was But yeah, no, they do a bunch of stress testing.

2:15:56 We did a bunch of like testing on figure out which

2:15:58 parts would work best with the CPUs and everything like that.

2:16:01 And you know, especially with pricing right now

2:16:04 with everything going on in the world right now,

2:16:06 uh figuring out what's the best price performance thing.

2:16:08 And you know, we we love the the new CPUs and everything like that and how much

2:16:13 like that will definitely be perfect for anyone

2:16:15 that's looking for anything to do with good gaming,

2:16:18 1440p, 4K gaming, or even some streaming on the side.

2:16:21 So, really excited to to throw that out to you guys.

2:16:24 Okay.

2:16:24 And then so if people as these roll out,

2:16:27 as people, you know, as these new systems come out,

2:16:29 how do they where do they get the the latest details,

2:16:31 the newest information on on these systems and uh how how to get them?

2:16:36 How'd you get the deets?

2:16:36 How do they get the deets?

2:16:38 Oh, for for us specifically or for like you for you guys?

2:16:41 Where can I find you?

2:16:42 But I'm looking for you.

2:16:43 Well, not you, but NZXC.

2:16:45 Yeah, I know where you live, but that's another Wait, what?

2:16:48 What?

2:16:49 Uh, I mean you guys can just follow us on socials,

2:16:51 you know, NCC on all social platforms,

2:16:53 but the best way to get like the the first thing is

2:16:56 joining our newsletter is basically just type in your email on the website.

2:17:00 Uh, we don't have these PCs out just yet, but the first people that would get

2:17:03 the notification will be those that join the newsletter.

2:17:06 So, if you guys want to get these before

2:17:07 they sell out quickly because from what we've been seeing,

2:17:11 these will sell out pretty quickly.

2:17:12 Join the newsletter ASAP because I've got a lot

2:17:15 of hype about the new CPUs and everything.

2:17:17 literally DMs about because you guys just launched.

2:17:19 I had four DMs just in the past two hours because

2:17:23 I'm just answering DMs about the new CPUs and I'm just like,

2:17:26 "They're coming soon, guys.

2:17:27 Sorry.

2:17:27 Sorry.

2:17:27 Sorry.

2:17:28 We can't get them fast enough.

2:17:29 We need them fast.

2:17:30 How is possible?" Like, I'm sorry.

2:17:32 I'm sorry.

2:17:32 I'm working on it.

2:17:33 If you want, I can give you a house number in uh

2:17:37 in California that has a tray of them or a couple trays of them.

2:17:42 Just uh you know, Venmo me.

2:17:44 Yeah.

2:17:45 I'll slide something.

2:17:46 Don't worry.

2:17:46 I'll slide I'll slide you.

2:17:48 Wow.

2:17:49 Is like, "Wow, I'm a little hurt.

2:17:52 I got $10." You know what?

2:17:54 We'll split we'll split the funds a little bit.

2:17:56 We got this.

2:17:57 All right.

2:17:57 I'm going to go credit corner now.

2:18:00 All right, man.

2:18:01 So, you get a DM about about this processor.

2:18:03 What do you think uh it's it's going to bring new to your system this processor?

2:18:07 Like, what's it going to make it uh cooler?

2:18:09 Like, what what's going to make it move the needle on this guy?

2:18:12 Ooh.

2:18:13 I mean, I think the number one thing, especially for customer service as well,

2:18:19 we get a lot of is people asking how to get like

2:18:22 how to optimize your PC or like how to like get more frames,

2:18:26 you know, like I want my PC, my PC's running at this.

2:18:28 Is there a way for me to get some more frames cuz you know,

2:18:31 everyone wants bigger number better, right?

2:18:33 And you say RGB, right?

2:18:35 Oh, RGB.

2:18:36 And and we're putting it out there.

2:18:38 RGB does give more FPS.

2:18:40 Oh, it does.

2:18:40 It does guarantee it's proven.

2:18:44 Yeah.

2:18:44 But uh I think one of the number one things I get

2:18:46 in DMs is just like how do I get more frames out of it?

2:18:48 And I think Intel's, you know, uh IP3, you know,

2:18:51 coming out of the box straight out like here it's

2:18:54 going to it's going to work for you guys here.

2:18:55 Ibot going to give huge FPS gain.

2:18:58 And you know, obviously I mean like I said with RGB

2:19:02 with more FPS you get better kill death ratio in games.

2:19:07 I mean mine is finally out of the negative.

2:19:09 So,

2:19:10 oh well.

2:19:13 We celebrate all the wins here.

2:19:15 We celebrate all the wins.

2:19:16 Uh when it comes to Alex, uh it is true though, right?

2:19:19 Not only does RGB add frames, but when you kill or like you do better in games,

2:19:25 the glow from your PC is great for selfies at those those moments.

2:19:29 Um we were actually filming yesterday, Brian and I,

2:19:32 and I was doing all of my big moments and it made me a better actor.

2:19:36 So, I'm just saying in general,

2:19:38 there's a lot that uh there's a lot that uh RGB can can provide for you.

2:19:42 And then IBOT, you know, like you said,

2:19:44 you get more of those celebration moments, which is a good thing, right?

2:19:47 That's what you're looking for.

2:19:48 I mean, that's that's just it's just proven science, guys.

2:19:51 Math is math.

2:19:51 You know, we we just how it is.

2:19:54 I do like somebody said,

2:19:56 just take the FPS number you want and just put it in the corner

2:19:59 of the screen and just write it there

2:20:01 and then just pretend that's your actual number.

2:20:03 I wish it really worked that way.

2:20:05 Okay.

2:20:05 Don't do it with a Sharpie.

2:20:06 Don't do it with a Sharpie.

2:20:07 It's like, oh, what number?

2:20:08 I just put it in there in the corner.

2:20:09 That's the number that I have, right?

2:20:11 You know what I mean?

2:20:11 It's like I wish it worked that way.

2:20:13 It does not, unfortunately.

2:20:14 Mike, quick question.

2:20:15 So, you know, there's DIY and then there's

2:20:18 also like the amazing system that you guys have.

2:20:20 Like, what would you see like the advantages

2:20:21 that you guys bring instead of me trying to uh

2:20:24 use the old cables from a different PSU

2:20:27 into a new PSU and releasing some smoke in a controller?

2:20:30 But that was not me.

2:20:31 That was a friend.

2:20:32 That was a friend.

2:20:33 It

2:20:33 was a friend.

2:20:33 Yeah.

2:20:34 Well, I mean I I'll be real with everyone here and I think people in chat

2:20:38 as well will understand like we here

2:20:41 we will always recommend people building a PC.

2:20:44 You know, it's I think it's like there's

2:20:46 something just there's something beneficial about building it.

2:20:49 One, you know, it's probably cheaper cuz you know, you're not paying for labor.

2:20:52 You're the one building it.

2:20:53 Uh but there's also like that fun aspect, right, of you,

2:20:57 my boss likes to say it all the time, it's like adult Legos, right?

2:21:00 Like a plug fits here, part fits here, but it's not as expensive as a Legos.

2:21:05 Like, have you seen the price of like a million Falcon PC?

2:21:08 It's been It depends on the Lego.

2:21:11 I don't know, man.

2:21:12 PC prices are pretty bad now.

2:21:16 Make a RAM Lego.

2:21:19 I wish you could make a RAM Lego that actually worked as RAM.

2:21:21 It'd still be cheaper.

2:21:23 That's true.

2:21:23 That's true.

2:21:24 But yeah, I mean, it's just a good way.

2:21:25 We always recommend building it because, you know, it's like a car.

2:21:28 You know, it's always good to know how to change a spare tire.

2:21:30 It's It's good to know where you can change tires on cars.

2:21:35 Wow.

2:21:34 No, you have to get the It's like a PC.

2:21:36 When you when your PC starts to go down, you buy the whole thing.

2:21:39 You can't upgrade partner.

2:21:40 That's what You know what?

2:21:41 That's what my car dealer keeps telling me.

2:21:43 Like every time I go in for windshield wiper fluid and blinker fluid,

2:21:47 he's just like, "You just need a new car."

2:21:49 You're able to find whipper wiper?

2:21:51 I've been trying, but then I just I I have bought like 18 cars now.

2:21:54 It's really weird.

2:21:56 Yeah.

2:21:56 And they said it's the same place where you can download brand.

2:21:58 I need to be a car salesman now.

2:22:00 Can you tell me which car dealership you go to?

2:22:02 I'll I'll apply there.

2:22:03 It's Ferrari.

2:22:07 That's a cheap one.

2:22:15 His face when I said that was so awesome.

2:22:17 I was like, "Oh." Uh but uh but go going back to the point was that

2:22:25 but I mean I think uh I we recommend people building PCs cuz it's always fun.

2:22:29 It's great way to know but uh pre-builds you know

2:22:32 that there there's people that don't have the time for it.

2:22:34 They don't have the time to build look for parts

2:22:37 and also warranties come in kind of come in clutch right there.

2:22:40 you know, like if you break something when you're building PC, that's on you.

2:22:43 But if something happens during shipping or, you know,

2:22:45 for us, we have I think we have a 2-year warranty.

2:22:47 If anything happens in 2 years, we can help replace it.

2:22:49 So, I think that there's like beneficials of both.

2:22:52 Uh, but we do try to recommend people to uh build PCs with it.

2:22:55 So, and I mean, with the new CPUs,

2:22:57 I think you're going to be very happy with it.

2:22:59 Yeah, I think I think I think so, too.

2:23:01 Yeah.

2:23:01 Based on the performance and everything that we're seeing,

2:23:03 it's going to be a lot of fun.

2:23:04 Um, awesome.

2:23:05 I mean, like you said,

2:23:06 is like when when when you're building it yourself is fun,

2:23:11 but then when something's not working,

2:23:12 you don't have that uh safety blanket that you

2:23:15 can go back to and call like, "Hey, uh,

2:23:18 hey, NZXT.

2:23:19 Uh, I took my PC apart and

2:23:23 I don't know what it did.

2:23:24 The sad part is I've had I've had a lot of DMs about that.

2:23:27 They're like, "Hey, I I tried doing this.

2:23:29 I swapped cables with my power supply." And I was like,

2:23:32 "Which what power supplies do you have?" was like,

2:23:33 "Oh, I had a 550 and then I swapped my 750 and I went, "Oh,

2:23:38 from another brand." No, it's okay.

2:23:42 Yeah, it's fine.

2:23:43 It's going to be fine.

2:23:44 This is fine.

2:23:45 West just need a little cup of coffee.

2:23:47 Yeah, this is fine.

2:23:48 This is fine.

2:23:49 Everything's fine.

2:23:49 Yeah, it's it's completely fine.

2:23:51 Everything's going to be okay.

2:23:53 Yeah, just as a that if there's anything you

2:23:56 get out of this entire show, don't do that.

2:23:58 That's the one thing that you need.

2:24:00 power cables from different power supplies

2:36:35 Uh we had the training and I was like the most

2:36:38 talkative person in the room because it intrigued me so much.

2:36:40 Um you know this kind of uh release this this refresh

2:36:45 I think it will mean a lot to people right.

2:36:48 It's and um I think Robert said it the the best uh that Intel didn't want

2:36:52 to contribute to the reason why you wouldn't

2:36:54 be able to build a PC these days, right?

2:36:56 And they're very thoughtful about kind of like in this economy

2:37:01 um uh you know uh and where we're at right now.

2:37:04 It's like uh we take it we take it the same way.

2:37:08 We we would love for people to have access to PCs.

2:37:13 Um, and we're we're slowly rolling out a lineup

2:37:16 of $2,000 PCs because that's where we're at, right?

2:37:19 You know, it's it's uh it's all it's

2:37:21 it's cool if you're able to go maximum enthusiast,

2:37:23 but the release of the the 270K Plus, I'll say it all day, dude.

2:37:28 I know.

2:37:28 I know.

2:37:29 I was like, I just Plus and the 250K Plus,

2:37:32 it really it it brings down this like perfect price performance ratio.

2:37:36 Like um I I don't know if this is like allowed,

2:37:39 but like I went through our own PC lab.

2:37:42 Uh you get in trouble.

2:37:44 No, no, no.

2:37:45 Because we we offer it now.

2:37:46 We we have it now.

2:37:47 You you could you could buy uh the 250K 270K plus systems now.

2:37:52 And I'm like, "Okay,

2:37:52 we have this cool landing page and there

2:37:54 are some uh pre-builts and there are some

2:37:56 configurators." Um and then I challenged myself literally

2:37:59 like 10 minutes before the stream and I said,

2:38:01 "Okay, well, can I use my PC lab configurator to build one?" Um,

2:38:05 I got a 270K build, 32 GB of 6,000 MHz RAM.

2:38:10 Oh.

2:38:10 Oh, wow.

2:38:11 Nice.

2:38:12 And a free monitor for $2,000.

2:38:16 Yeah.

2:38:16 And I'm like, is it is it fair to share this link?

2:38:19 Because I kind of want to like I kind OF WANT PEOPLE.

2:38:21 YEAH.

2:38:21 YEAH.

2:38:21 For sure.

2:38:22 For sure.

2:38:22 Yeah.

2:38:22 Yeah.

2:38:23 Okay.

2:38:23 So, share that link to my DM.

2:38:26 Yes.

2:38:26 If you want to if you want to if you want to put it in the video chat,

2:38:29 Matt can put it into chat.

2:38:31 Yeah.

2:38:31 Yeah.

2:38:31 Yeah.

2:38:31 So, yeah, for sure.

2:38:33 We dude, can you share?

2:38:35 We want to share.

2:38:35 Like, that's why we're here.

2:38:37 That's awesome.

2:38:38 I am I'm surprised and I'm really happy

2:38:41 that I can even get away with a 270K build,

2:38:44 right, for 2K and then you apply a coupon on there.

2:38:47 It's like $2,2.

2:38:49 Wow.

2:38:49 That's really not.

2:38:50 And you get a free monitor.

2:38:52 You get a free monitor.

2:38:53 And I'm like, what in in what world, right, does does the you know,

2:38:58 the latest generation of a chip come out and you're like, oh, $2,000.

2:39:03 Yeah.

2:39:03 So that alone right there is impressive to me.

2:39:06 The fact that you get this CPU uh on top of that, right?

2:39:10 Um everything that Robert had said, everything Aaron had said,

2:39:13 uh I studied this chip back and forth

2:39:17 and everyone watching this stream needs to to understand

2:39:20 how important this this CPU is

2:39:22 for the streamers and the content creators out there.

2:39:25 Everyone.

2:39:25 Everyone.

2:39:26 You know, you could you could max FPS

2:39:27 and you want to be maximum enthusiast all day long, but most of us do more.

2:39:32 Most of us do more with our PCs.

2:39:36 Yep.

2:39:35 If anybody really tore down under the hood of what Intel is offering right now,

2:39:39 it's incredibly impressive.

2:39:41 The fact that you can offload um I believe it's like from the APU,

2:39:45 you can do the quick sync uh video to OBS.

2:39:49 Still there.

2:39:49 Um, and then you can you can do uh what is

2:39:53 it like 1080p 60 frames 6,000 bit rate to your Twitch streams.

2:39:58 And that's like 90% of everybody does that.

2:40:03 Yep.

2:40:02 And that does like zero hit to your CPU.

2:40:05 Like I think

2:40:07 that for $2.99 is insane.

2:40:10 Yeah.

2:40:10 No, it's incredible value.

2:40:13 And not enough people are talking about that.

2:40:15 So, like even in between the last like two

2:40:17 weeks where we're getting this training, I'm like, "No,

2:40:19 that's that's where I'm going to put my marketing

2:40:22 campaign because everyone here in this Twitch chat, right,

2:40:26 is feeling that feeling where we're at right now."

2:40:28 And if you are if you're if you're watching

2:40:30 this and you know what Twitch is and you

2:40:31 have any sort of chance of getting into content creation,

2:40:34 you know, this will mean a lot for you in your next build.

2:40:39 Yeah.

2:40:38 So, so that's where we're at and that's where I'm like really passionate about

2:40:41 this because it was time it was time for a chip to come out like this.

2:40:45 uh you know to kind of level the playing field a little bit.

2:40:47 So I think it's great.

2:40:48 Also also you touch in a in a in a really

2:40:50 good point that actually we haven't talked about it.

2:40:51 I mean we still mostly talk about the gaming performance but the multi-thread

2:40:55 uh capability that it has and you have done some testing on that.

2:40:57 Oh yeah like you're not even talking about insignificant like the even

2:41:01 the jump in multi in multi-threaded performance was was crazy in terms of like

2:41:05 we were blown away because and there's even times it's outperforming your own

2:41:09 your own flagship chip in certain in certain cases as well, right?

2:41:13 Um, so, um, and then all in all, like I I King,

2:41:17 I think what we, at least those of us in the PCDIY,

2:41:19 and then now those of us who like highlight deals given

2:41:22 the world that we're in, like you're going in there and you're like,

2:41:24 "Yeah, no, believe it or not, this this chip is cheaper.

2:41:27 It's cheaper than what they charged originally." And by the way,

2:41:30 it's significantly more powerful and it's only going to get better.

2:41:33 Right?

2:41:34 That's the thing that actually is is super impressive to me

2:41:36 is like even when we have our review finally coming out,

2:41:39 cuz we always do stuff after we aggregate everybody else's, right?

2:41:42 But the one thing we always say is like just wait because you

2:41:45 know with IBOT and everything else it will only just continue to get better.

2:41:49 And you know, for instance, uh, Core Ultra 200S plus Boost,

2:41:52 like the boost, sorry, the 200S boost when it came out, right?

2:41:55 Like again, there's all sorts of things that they're learning about

2:41:57 this architecture and they're giving this stuff out to the public, right?

2:42:00 And uh, you could tell that Robert was actually getting

2:42:02 geeked about the stuff that was even and you're just like,

2:42:06 he wants to tell us so bad, right?

2:42:08 But he just can't, right?

2:42:09 And King's like, I want to know, too.

2:42:11 But sometimes it's the timing of it, right?

2:42:13 like

2:42:14 you have this technology back then and you wanted

2:42:17 to be really loud about it and you know a lot

2:42:20 of people focused on gaming performance and that's where it

2:42:22 was like oh you know there was too much noise.

2:42:25 Yeah.

2:42:25 the fact that you're you're walking this back now

2:42:28 and now it's a really good time to say like, okay,

2:42:30 you get that and more and you know,

2:42:32 someone has to gas that marketing campaign up

2:42:34 because that's that's incredible for what you get.

2:42:36 And I just, you know, I know uh you know, this will be fun and dad jokes soon,

2:42:42 but I did want to get that out of the way.

2:42:44 Like I, you know, I'm I'm really enthusiastic about where Intel is positioning

2:42:47 these these chips uh and I can't wait to go and do more with them.

2:42:50 So, I'm just I'm glad we have the offering.

2:42:53 Um, I'm glad that I self-discovered literally 10 minutes ago

2:42:56 that we could we could build one off PC Lab.

2:43:00 Um, and the fact that yeah,

2:43:02 it could be that it is a reality uh for people

2:43:05 to uh to do what they love, game and content.

2:43:10 That's that's it.

2:43:10 That's the story, man.

2:43:11 So, you guys you guys hit it out of the park with this one.

2:43:15 Uh, you know, uh and uh you know,

2:43:18 like like uh the friendmies in purple said, right?

2:43:22 Yes.

2:43:22 We believe that you should be able to build a PC as well.

2:43:25 So, if you want to learn with any of our systems, go for it.

2:43:28 You know, we're here.

2:43:29 We're here to help you guys out.

2:43:30 Um, got to have world class leading warranties.

2:43:34 Got to uh, you know, support you guys with the US.

2:43:37 Um, yeah, we're here.

2:43:39 We're here in LA.

2:43:40 Oh, that's that's great.

2:43:41 And sorry, go ahead.

2:43:42 No, no, no.

2:43:43 I was So, okay.

2:43:44 So, where where do we find you?

2:43:46 Okay.

2:43:46 We're we're gonna I mean you already sent us a link

2:43:48 to to the amazing system that you that you did,

2:43:50 but if we want to keep playing with the configurator with the PC

2:43:53 lab and everything else and and where yeah where can we go?

2:43:57 Um so um obviously we're I by power on all across our socials.

2:44:01 Uh finding PC lab is easy became so easy we put it on our front page.

2:44:05 It's like one of the first things that you could pick on the drop down.

2:44:08 Um I invite everybody to kind of check it out.

2:44:10 Um, we've had creators tell us that it's like

2:44:13 we somehow built PC Particker into uh I by Power.

2:44:17 So, I thought that was really commendable.

2:44:19 Like I, you know, I love PC Part Baker,

2:44:21 but like the fact that someone even draws that Yeah.

2:44:24 um to to the to the way that we've created this configurator, it makes us proud.

2:44:29 So,

2:44:29 and the thing that the thing that's so nice about

2:44:31 your guys' brand is like I know you can get stuff online,

2:44:34 but this is also places where you can go

2:44:35 and check yourself out in stores and all sorts of things.

2:44:37 Like it's it's you guys are bigger than

2:44:39 just the presence even online in some regards, right?

2:44:42 If people want to get hands-on or see

2:44:43 a system in person and all that sort of stuff,

2:44:45 you can check places like Best Buy, all those other like exact,

2:44:48 you know, there's lots of opportunity to go see systems.

2:44:50 And then if people were to buy an I

2:44:53 by Power system like um what are some of the benefits?

2:44:56 Like what are the like what are the the things that they gain?

2:44:58 Because I think sometimes it's like uh you know,

2:45:00 yes, we have a lot of enthusiasts here,

2:45:02 but I in some regards you guys can buy things

2:45:04 at volume and and have better prices than what we can get

2:45:07 out here and they they may just want to get

2:45:09 into the PC world and they might be a little nervous because,

2:45:11 you know, they have a lot of people who

2:45:12 there's I think I believe there's a lot of misinformation

2:45:14 about SI and stuff like that in terms of what

2:45:16 they say and I I think that, you know,

2:45:18 let's let's let's uh let's disillusion individuals of what that is.

2:45:23 So yeah, King tell tell us a little bit about I by power and um

2:45:27 you know what what what you get when you get a system like that.

2:45:30 Yeah.

2:45:30 So uh you know for those who don't know us I mean we've

2:45:33 been in this industry now I think we're going on our 27th year.

2:45:36 So we've been around since the advent of the industry some some

2:45:40 of our years are longer than like component partners at this point.

2:45:43 So we're just we've just been the solid service point uh

2:45:46 across this industry and we've kind of fostered relationships across the nation.

2:45:50 Um, uh, I will leak a few things, I guess.

2:45:53 I mean, this is sort of a leak stream,

2:45:55 but, um, but yeah, let's talk about our network first, right?

2:45:59 We'll we're in every Best Buy you could imagine.

2:46:01 Um, MicroEnter, Costco, Sam's Club,

2:46:05 B&H Photo out in New York, Adorama out in New York.

2:46:09 Um, this is a leak part.

2:46:11 We're going to open up Canada soon.

2:46:14 Whoa.

2:46:15 Not even sure I was supposed to say that, but uh,

2:46:17 it's out there now.

2:46:20 We're going to we're going to help out the uh the great white north.

2:46:23 We're going to we're going to do that and figure that out.

2:46:25 Um we also have an international uh uh

2:46:28 headquarters in Spain if you guys don't know that.

2:46:30 I visited that.

2:46:31 I visited that um uh about four months ago to check that out.

2:46:36 Um but uh but yeah, being difficult and horrible.

2:46:38 We're trying to expand and we're trying to um

2:46:41 you know really really get the volume out there.

2:46:43 It keeps our pricing incredibly comp competitive

2:46:46 in that uh PC lab I was talking about.

2:46:48 Like even our even our pricing on the new CPUs that you guys have,

2:46:52 our MSRP, like if you it may not be that for long, right?

2:46:57 But at least for our end,

2:46:58 you will see that incredibly transparent

2:47:01 pricing um across all of our components.

2:47:03 So like uh like I said, um yeah, shop us anywhere.

2:47:07 If you find us uh any retailer, also don't forget to register your system.

2:47:12 That's the worst part, right?

2:47:13 When someone does not do that.

2:47:15 Register your system, put your serial number in there.

2:47:17 I know it's a couple clicks for your account.

2:47:20 You do that and we'll reward you anyway.

2:47:22 So, you do that.

2:47:23 Um, you know, you get you get extended support

2:47:25 just because I wouldn't know why you wouldn't, right?

2:47:29 So, you know, let us let us add value

2:47:31 to your system there and u we're always happy to help out.

2:47:34 So,

2:47:34 that's awesome.

2:47:35 That's awesome.

2:47:35 And then a little bit about like for people who don't know who

2:47:38 may not know what uh PC part picker and stuff like that is.

2:47:41 They're coming in there.

2:47:42 This the the the configurator that you guys have.

2:47:44 This allows you to configure your own IB by power system, right?

2:47:49 Yeah.

2:47:49 Yeah.

2:47:49 So, um you know, I'm a I'm a huge fan

2:47:51 of of this newly developed PC lab because it won't let you

2:47:56 it Well, it's okay.

2:47:58 I'm glad you made the mistake with PC Spartiger, right?

2:48:00 Like that's Yeah, it's it's even better.

2:48:03 Yeah.

2:48:03 Um, but when you when you go through this PC lab configurator,

2:48:06 it's it's completely guided.

2:48:09 Um, we won't let you we'll put guard rails

2:48:11 on parts that you pick in a step-wise fashion.

2:48:14 So, like, of course, you start with your case.

2:48:16 Um, because that defines the aesthetic of your build, right?

2:48:19 Once you pick a once you pick a case,

2:48:22 you'll start it'll it'll stay there in the corner and go, "Oh,

2:48:25 reminding you that like you've got an aesthetic

2:48:27 in mind." So whether it's a color, whether it's white or black,

2:48:31 um it could define the next available choices, your your choice in case fans,

2:48:36 your choice in GPU color,

2:48:37 your choice in whatever other accessory that you want to match.

2:48:40 Um but at every step of the way, we guide you to that.

2:48:43 So you you you can't go wrong.

2:48:46 And if you happen to go into the wrong,

2:48:48 there's a big red bar that says, "Don't pick me.

2:48:52 Don't do not pick this."

2:48:54 Alex would still choose that.

2:48:54 I know.

2:48:55 to like click.

2:48:57 He'd be like, "Is there a little plus sign next to it

2:48:59 that I can click to just get by it?" Like, is there

2:49:01 There are way too many plus signs.

2:49:03 Yes, that's right.

2:49:04 It doesn't mean that we should remove them.

2:49:06 They're not allowed.

2:49:07 Oh my god.

2:49:09 Yeah.

2:49:09 But, uh, it's it's it's so good.

2:49:11 It's a guided configurator and and the fact that I

2:49:14 was able to share that, I was very adamant.

2:49:15 I'm like, "No, I need this share function.

2:49:17 I need it.

2:49:18 I need the share function.

2:49:19 People need to know who like uh some we have creator builds.

2:49:23 They've templed them out now, right?

2:49:25 So, if you want to build a PC like X, right, you can.

2:49:29 Um, that one that I just shared in the chat, um,

2:49:32 you could build a PC like the one I just completely

2:49:34 discovered is $2,000 with a with a 270K and a free monitor.

2:49:38 Like, uh, it's 144 hertz monitor, too.

2:49:41 So, like, you're right.

2:49:42 You're going.

2:49:43 Yeah, you're you're going.

2:49:44 Um, they used to have my build up there, but it was like 12 grand,

2:49:48 so they were like, "Yeah, we're not going to do that,

2:49:51 Roi." Yeah, you know, we we love you.

2:49:55 You can build six of those PCs with that.

2:49:57 Yeah.

2:49:57 You're like, "Roey, what?" Like,

2:49:59 nobody needs Nobody needs to tape RAM on the outside of their case.

2:50:03 Why are you doing that?

2:50:06 Like, it's for aesthetic.

2:50:07 It's my aesthetics.

2:50:08 They spin, man.

2:50:09 Yeah.

2:50:10 And why did you put Skittles on the outside of the case?

2:50:12 Like, is what was that all about?

2:50:15 Like, were those the ones that you anything to attract, right?

2:50:19 Exactly.

2:50:19 Don't just don't let me give you the Skittles.

2:50:21 Yeah.

2:50:21 Yeah.

2:50:22 Exactly.

2:50:22 Don't Let me just tell you the one thing I will tell you.

2:50:26 Don't take Skittles from King.

2:50:28 Don't.

2:50:29 Okay.

2:50:30 Never.

2:50:29 Take it from both of us.

2:50:32 That's right, Alex.

2:50:33 Yeah, that's right.

2:50:34 That's That's a reason you can't do another 10 push-ups.

2:50:40 Exactly.

2:50:40 Dude, we tasted the rainbow in everybody else's hands is what we tasted.

2:50:44 Our immune system definitely is one of the best out there.

2:50:47 Yeah.

2:50:48 Yeah.

2:50:48 No liability forms either.

2:50:51 There was no there were no disclaimers there.

2:50:53 Yeah, that was but um honestly and then uh again it sounds like

2:50:57 you guys have some exciting things that are kind of on the horizon.

2:51:00 Um and then how are people you know just you know to go because this is

2:51:04 we got we just got finished doing

2:51:05 the Astral Orange X50 build here on Mod Workshop.

2:51:09 like how are people loving the and and I'm

2:51:11 assuming you can get Astro Orange in your PC lab

2:51:14 with a 270K plus if you wanted to and and really

2:51:18 bling it out like uh like Braxel's PC, you know.

2:51:21 Yeah.

2:51:21 Yeah.

2:51:22 Um so it's funny cuz like since that X50

2:51:25 uh feature um X50 is selling really well on ibupower.com.

2:51:29 If you guys don't know what that is um

2:51:31 on our other um our sister brand height uh we've created X50.

2:51:35 It's a a fully rounded uh kind of curvature case.

2:51:40 Um it's a absolutely new aesthetic.

2:51:41 So check it out.

2:51:42 I know we can't link to it, but um we've got those in multiple colorways.

2:51:46 And then we sent Roy's team this astral orange case.

2:51:49 So good.

2:51:50 It's very like Appleesque, right?

2:51:52 It's very Apple

2:51:53 uh you know, iPhone.

2:51:55 And uh yes, was was there inspiration?

2:51:57 Maybe.

2:51:57 Maybe possibly.

2:51:58 Right.

2:51:58 But

2:51:58 yeah, we we're not going to say we Yeah.

2:52:01 Yeah.

2:52:01 Yeah.

2:52:01 Yeah.

2:52:02 Oh.

2:52:02 Oh, and recently we did a poll that no one has gotten right yet.
