4:29 and the Giants mobile app.

4:31 1714 is THE FINAL.

4:33 ONE TOUCHDOWN.

4:33 WE ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS.

4:35 Believe it and it will happen.

4:37 Part of the Giants podcast network.

4:38 Let's go out there like a bunch of crazy dogs having some fun.

4:41 Hello everybody.

4:42 Welcome to Big Blue Kickoff live on this Friday afternoon.

4:45 John Schmil, Matthew Sitac with you.

4:46 It's all presented by Cadillac, the official luxury vehicle of the Giants.

4:49 The phone number is 2011 9394513# Giants chat.

4:54 Hit us up.

4:55 We'll talk some Giants football with you.

4:57 We're here in the Hackinack Murray Hill podcast studio.

4:59 Keep getting better.

5:00 Mr.

5:00 Sitac, how are you, sir?

5:01 I'm doing well.

5:02 How are you

5:03 doing?

5:03 All right.

5:03 So, welcome back.

5:04 Thank you.

5:04 I was got four days of work at home instead

5:07 of four days of work in the office, which is great.

5:09 Got the uh got the garage cleaned,

5:11 got the attic cleaned, and I got the basement cleaned.

5:13 There you go.

5:14 That's four days worth of work.

5:15 Good times.

5:16 Um so, lot of stuff going on.

5:19 We have uh the Giants rookie mini camp starting today.

5:22 Um I was out there just walking around.

5:24 Practice is literally going on as we speak.

5:26 Um I did not have a full roster with all the numbers,

5:28 so it's kind of hard to keep track of who the guys are.

5:30 do know who um the Giants draft

5:32 picks are because we have announced their numbers.

5:34 I'll let you go through those in a second.

5:36 A bunch of undrafted free agents as well.

5:38 Giants life released this morning.

5:40 So, we have that to talk about.

5:41 So, Mr.

5:42 Sidac, why don't we start um with the numbers,

5:45 I know fans get obsessed with that.

5:47 And I will just stress uh this will be the first time I stress it.

5:50 I will stress it again.

5:52 These are subject to change.

5:54 These are not final numbers.

5:55 Do not go out there and rush and buy a jersey.

5:58 you will be there's a chance you will be

5:59 very upset and disappointed in about three or four months.

6:02 Do not do that.

6:04 But as for now, here are our Giant draft pick numbers.

6:08 Yeah, I'm just going to re reiterate these seven guys, the seven draft picks,

6:12 I can guarantee you with 100% certainty

6:15 that not all seven players will wear this number.

6:18 And the first one Site's going to list is the reason why

6:21 because yes, I'll go in the in order chronological order.

6:25 Malachi Fields is wearing for this weekend the number zero.

6:30 The number zero belongs to Brian Burns.

6:33 Oh yeah, that's right.

6:34 You'll see during training camp, this happens a lot.

6:36 There's a lot of numbers get handed out to an offensive player

6:40 and a defensive player on the rosters that like the media gets.

6:43 It'll specify, you know, zero and then next to it O or zero D.

6:48 So Malachi Fields is wearing zero this weekend.

6:51 That is Brian Burns's number.

6:52 He is not going to be wearing that number come week one.

6:55 No.

6:56 But nonetheless, that is his number for this weekend.

6:58 Colton Hood is wearing the number 12 for rookie mini camp.

7:03 Jack Kelly will be wearing the number 51, formerly of Abdul Carter,

7:07 but Abdul Carter switched to number three, opened up 51.

7:11 So that is Jack Kelly.

7:12 Orl Ree is wearing 52.

7:15 Then we have Francis Maui Noah in the number 65.

7:19 JC Davis in the number 74.

7:22 And finally, Bobby J.

7:24 Jameson Travis in the number 97.

7:28 All right, so this is obviously a lot of, you know,

7:30 hardcore analysis here based on a lot of numbers and analytics.

7:35 All right, here are the numbers I like and numbers I don't like.

7:38 Just for fun.

7:39 Um, feels I'm I'm not even going to bother wasting

7:42 time talking about that because he's never going to be zero.

7:45 12 for a corner is weird to me.

7:48 Yeah, I agree with you on that.

7:50 I feel like 12 is a quarterback.

7:51 I'm normally very very open-minded when it

7:54 comes to whatever players wearing whatever numbers.

7:56 See, I'm the opposite.

7:57 I am very I know.

7:58 I get in arguments with you and Dan upstairs all the time about this.

8:02 But I do agree 12 seems a little odd for a quarterback.

8:05 I don't think of a quarterback when I see the number 12.

8:08 Wide receiver, I can understand.

8:09 Obviously, we had a tight end that wore that number only a couple years ago.

8:14 Okay.

8:14 But

8:15 who was 12?

8:16 Darren Waller.

8:16 Oh, it was Waller.

8:17 But a cornerback, I don't know.

8:21 51 and 52 are fine for linebackers.

8:22 52 is a good number.

8:23 51's a good number.

8:24 I like those a lot.

8:26 Any 50 number for a linebacker is going to be fine.

8:29 Especially with Arville Ree at least

8:30 starting his career as an inside linebacker.

8:33 52.

8:34 Perfect.

8:34 Rock and roll.

8:35 And I'm with you.

8:35 65 for an offensive lineman.

8:38 Love it.

8:39 Anywhere in the 60s or 70s to be honest.

8:42 Very happy with that.

8:43 JC Davis at 74 is fine.

8:44 And then uh I know Giant fans making note.

8:46 Bobby Jameson Travis taking the Dexter Lawrence number at 97,

8:50 which by the way, guys, let's not let's pump the brakes there.

8:53 Okay, it just there aren't that many numbers available.

8:56 That's one that just happened to be open, so he took it.

8:58 I was going to say a defensive tackle belongs in the '9s.

9:02 Yes, it's probably one of the only 90 numbers that were available.

9:04 And I think that's what he wore in college, too, if I'm not

9:07 Yes, I just I just pulled plays for film room this morning, I believe.

9:11 Yes, he was 97.

9:12 Correct.

9:12 He wants his old college number.

9:14 That's probably why he got the number 97.

9:16 It's not any sort of slight towards the former player that wore that number.

9:20 No, absolutely not.

9:21 Okay.

9:21 The Giants also announced some of their undrafted free agent signings.

9:25 They announced some veteran releases as well.

9:27 We'll go through these next.

9:28 Mr.

9:29 Sitac, so they continue to add a defensive line.

9:32 Obviously, DJ Reer became official.

9:34 Um I think that was yesterday that became official or was it two days ago?

9:38 Two days ago.

9:39 Two days ago.

9:39 Anyway, it's official.

9:40 So, he's here.

9:41 Uh we I haven't talked about that yet,

9:43 so we can we can talk about that briefly as well.

9:45 Uh, Giants continue to add on the defensive line.

9:47 Now, I have not watched any of these guys yet, folks.

9:49 I'll watch them for next week.

9:50 I have not watched them yet.

9:52 And Quinn Barnes from Colorado and Ben Barton from Wisconsin.

9:55 Um, Thaddius Dixon from North Carolina.

9:58 He's a player a lot of people thought would get drafted out of North Carolina.

10:00 Thaddius Dixon.

10:01 Um, Ben man, a long snapper out of Boston College.

10:05 And Dominic Zvada, the kicker out of Michigan.

10:08 A lot of special teams competition.

10:10 Does it mean I have to start tracking long snaps

10:12 during practice for accuracy with a rookie versus a veteran?

10:16 I mean, it's not the first time we've had two long snappers in camp here.

10:19 A couple years ago, we had the same thing.

10:22 Yeah, but I didn't really think that there

10:23 was going to be a competition in that situation.

10:25 Do you think there is an actual competition this year?

10:29 With the way Harbaugh operates,

10:30 that would not shock me just because of his like, you know,

10:34 that's fair.

10:34 My guess is that these are like these special

10:36 teams guys are like personally selected by John Harbaugh.

10:39 could be completely mistaken about that, but I got to imagine he's like,

10:42 I really like the spin on his snap.

10:44 Like, could you see Harbaugh watching it?

10:46 Like, look at that thing spin for sure.

10:49 100%.

10:50 And Dan actually upstairs, Dan Salamone,

10:52 pulled this out that Ben Mann is the descendant of a former Giant.

10:57 Man is the grandson of Chuck Merson.

11:01 Mercen Mercine, I think it's Mercen,

11:02 a fullback who was drafted in the third round by the Giants in 1965.

11:07 How about that?

11:07 He then later played for the Packers under Vince Lombardi and helped

11:10 win the 1967 NFL championship game known as the Ice Bowl.

11:16 Any other nuggets on these guys that you have site you want to throw on me?

11:18 Do you want to give me a little thumbnail?

11:19 That was definitely the the most interesting one because I

11:23 mean I honestly it's not like long snappers really have stats.

11:26 If you go to their college bios, it's they don't really have stats.

11:30 So, in the little blurb about Ben Mann, there's two lines about his grandfather

11:34 and then just one line about man himself, which I got a chuckle out of.

11:37 Uh, and that one line is just that he was went to Yale

11:40 where he played for three seasons before he transferred to Boston College.

11:44 No question about it.

11:45 Two other players, by the way.

11:46 Zavvada has Yes, he's a notable player because Yeah, go ahead.

11:49 You know, he's coming off this 2025 campaign where

11:52 he did not have the best numbers, but in 2024,

11:55 he was probably the best kicker in the country,

11:58 if not the best, one of the best.

12:00 In 2024, he was 21 of 22 on field goal attempts,

12:05 which was a single season Michigan record,

12:08 and he was first team all-American in 2024.

12:13 Mhm.

12:13 He obviously again coming off a somewhat of a down season.

12:16 I believe his 17 for 25, right?

12:19 Yeah.

12:19 was not nearly as good this past season,

12:21 but first team all-American just two seasons ago.

12:25 And now the Giants currently have three kickers on the roster.

12:31 Yeah, they do.

12:31 Jason Sanders, Ben Sauls, and now Dominic Zavvada.

12:35 I'm I'm used to tracking field goals in camp, so that's fine.

12:38 But I'm not used to going to split up all those reps, the long snapping.

12:41 So, just a couple notes on on some of these undrafted free agents.

12:44 Anquin Barnes out of Colorado.

12:46 You'll note um both these guys are are rather large

12:49 the defensive tackle so they definitely fit into that nose tackle category.

12:53 Um, Anquin Barnes, 365, 340, originally went to Alabama, uh,

12:58 was there for three years before transferring to to Colorado.

13:00 And obviously Alabama has a very good history of defensive tackles.

13:04 And then Ben Barton out of Wisconsin um, last year,

13:07 two and a half tackles for loss, a sack, started all 12 games from last year.

13:11 Um, and he was an all Big 10 selection uh,

13:14 in a four-time academic all Big 10 selection.

13:17 So, um, those are the two defensive tackles.

13:19 That Dixon, I mentioned, um, he broke up six passes last year.

13:23 didn't miss the last five games with an injury.

13:24 Um he was in Washington before that where he was

13:27 all Big 10 honorable mention in 2024 with 10 PBUs.

13:30 Um started at Long Beach City College though,

13:32 so he was a small school guy that kind of slowly moved up the ranks.

13:36 Yeah.

13:37 And again, this is a guy that a lot

13:38 of people thought was going to be a day three pick.

13:41 Obviously, he ended up going undrafted, ended up here.

13:44 I think that he's of all these guys in that sense,

13:47 I guess he would probably be the most notable name in just that I

13:51 don't know if any of these other guys were expected to get drafted.

13:55 Daddy's Dixon, most people I feel like thought there was

13:58 a very good chance that he would go somewhere day three,

14:01 late on day three, but day three nonetheless.

14:03 And then Ryan Shernki from Kurtztown.

14:07 Yes.

14:08 I mean, powerhouse, but he played 48 games there.

14:12 Um, obviously he's he's 6'8, he's 330, he's gigantic.

14:16 Obviously, you're betting on traits there.

14:18 Um, and obviously he had all these, you know, finals for the Gene Upshaw award,

14:22 uh, to the top senior graduate student lineman in division 2.

14:25 That's a division school program, Kurtstown.

14:27 So, um, that's the other player.

14:29 And then the final player, uh, which was a late ad here, Damon Bankston.

14:33 Matt, that was announced this morning.

14:34 The other six were announced last night.

14:37 Running back out of New Mexico, 510, 196.

14:39 Um, first four years at Weber State.

14:41 So now two players in the Giants rookie class with Weber State connections

14:47 with with him and Jack Kelly.

14:49 Um 10 touchdowns last year, 31 catches, 397 yards.

14:53 Um so he has a lot of skill.

14:56 He's fast.

14:57 443 40 yard dash in his pro day.

14:59 So he's a guy that can um do things in space

15:03 as John Harour has had traditionally had that kind of small,

15:07 speedy, fast back on his teams.

15:09 He seems to fit that profile.

15:10 Yeah, he had 33 touchdowns over his 51 total collegiate

15:15 games and that's obviously between Weber State and New Mexico,

15:19 but notable two kickoff return touchdowns.

15:21 Yeah.

15:21 So, he could maybe at the very least throughout the summer

15:24 be a factor on special teams in that return game.

15:27 At least give the Giants another interesting

15:30 and intriguing option to throw back there.

15:32 Yeah, no question about it.

15:33 I'm with you.

15:33 All right.

15:34 Giants slice also released Mr.

15:37 Sciteac.

15:37 I got through like the first six and a half minutes of it.

15:40 I was again I had a lot of stuff catching up on you know when

15:43 you don't you're out the office for a few days then you come back and like

15:45 just the the the laundry list of stuff that you have to catch up on is

15:48 just sitting there for you and you're dreading and so that was me this morning.

15:51 So I didn't have a chance to get all through Giant's

15:52 life but a couple things I noted from the portion that I

15:55 watch and then I'll let you kind of give the rest because

15:57 I know you have gone through it with a fine tooth comb.

15:59 Um, much like we kind of guessed,

16:06 it sounds like when they talked about Reese being the number one non-quarterback

16:10 on the board and Marino being the number three non-carterback on the board,

16:13 the guy in the middle there was in fact Jeremiah Love

16:15 based on what John Harbaugh said in the beginning of that video.

16:19 Well, he did say that those two guys it seemed

16:22 like were kind of tied at the top of the board.

16:26 Jeremiah Love and Aubrey.

16:27 He said those are the two guys.

16:28 He said those are our top two he said.

16:30 Yeah.

16:30 I don't know if he specified in what order.

16:32 Well, I mean, but they had previously said

16:33 at the press conference that Reese was number one.

16:35 Yeah.

16:36 Fair.

16:36 Right.

16:37 So, those are one.

16:37 So, those are the that was the other guy in in in the top.

16:42 So, theoretically, if Love's there at three,

16:45 if Love's there at five instead of Ree,

16:48 safe to assume that he's probably the pick there.

16:50 No,

16:51 I would think so, to be honest.

16:53 I mean, you could see we see the the raw footage itself

16:59 from draft night from the draft room of Harbaugh and Joe talking about it.

17:03 So, yeah, I think if the Cardinals had, let's say,

17:07 gone Arville Ree and the Titans went Carell Tate,

17:11 there's a good chance that Jeremiah Love would be a Giant, right?

17:13 It's funny.

17:14 I go back to when I stood between you and Dino on draft day and remember I told

17:17 you that was like my my my gut feeling and I did not know anything, by the way.

17:20 Just just for the record, folks.

17:21 cuz I go out of my way not to ask people upstairs

17:23 what's happening because if I say something I'm going to get in trouble.

17:26 But that was and I always thought there was a better

17:30 chance of Love getting to the Giants at five than Ree,

17:33 which is why love was kind of my gut feeling at the time.

17:37 Um, but it turns out Reese got there at five.

17:40 And I know there was a I don't know if you saw this.

17:42 Did you see like that random report from somebody

17:45 that the Giants were like open to trading that fifth pick?

17:48 They seemed to be very once Ree was there like that was

17:51 that was it like he was going to be the pick no matter what.

17:53 Yeah.

17:54 I mean obviously going into the draft there was some

17:56 buzz some reports that the Giants would look to trade down.

17:59 You know people were trying to guess whether that would be from five or 10.

18:02 Yeah.

18:02 There was another report that Ree wasn't there

18:04 that they were going to trade down from five.

18:05 But I there was obviously no evidence of that in in in Giants life.

18:08 But who knows?

18:09 Yeah.

18:10 But as you said as soon as Arval Reese was there

18:13 was no doubt about it they were not moving from that pick.

18:15 they were taking the the best player on their board

18:18 and coming away so incredibly happy and excited about it.

18:22 I mean, again, the thing I like or I

18:24 love about these Giants life videos is you get

18:27 to see the genuine reactions from the decision makers when

18:32 they realize they get the guy that they clearly wanted.

18:35 Horos too is the best.

18:36 You can see how genuinely excited both coach and Joe both are when Alvar

18:42 Ree when the Titans select Carell Tate and they realize they can pick Arl Ree.

18:48 That's not just them putting on a show for the eventual Giants live video.

18:52 Like the cameraman that puts this together is like

18:56 in the corner of the room out of the way.

18:58 Like he's not trying to be seen.

18:59 This is genuine real reactions from those guys and you can just

19:03 see how happy they are that they're getting Arville Reese at 5

19:07 and that's why the draft is such a look not

19:09 just for the teams but that's why even why it's such

19:11 a big event for the fans right like you just don't

19:14 know who's going to be there who you going to get

19:16 there's so much unknown there and just the natural enthusiasm

19:20 from Harbaugh is just off the charts he gets so excited

19:24 and again there seemed to be a lot more consternation

19:27 as to whether or not Maui no would get to 10.

19:30 There was some waiting to make sure that Fano was indeed

19:32 going to be the pick to the Browns there at nine.

19:34 It sounds like wide receiver could have been could have been an option

19:37 there at 10 if either Tate or Tyson were still on the board.

19:41 But John Harbaugh was quite pleased and happy

19:44 once the Giants managed to get Francis Maui.

19:46 No.

19:47 And I think the reason and the more I kind of sat

19:49 on this draft class during my time off as I'm hauling crap out

19:52 of my house that this is really a John Harbaugh build the character

19:59 of the team and personality of the team the way he wanted to build it.

20:04 I think he did some of it in free

20:05 agency but as he pointed out in Giants live video

20:08 the most fundamental part of team building is the draft

20:11 and you do it to build the personality of your team.

20:14 And I think with a lot of these picks,

20:16 it goes a long way to building a team

20:17 that looks and feels like a John Harbaugh team.

20:21 Yeah, I feel like that's something that, you know,

20:22 we've talked about since the draft concluded that, you know,

20:26 a characteristic that basically every single member of this 2026

20:31 draft class shares is that just like big physical embraces,

20:37 contact sort of characteristic of the game that not everyone has honestly.

20:42 No,

20:42 you're right.

20:43 So, sure.

20:44 Yeah.

20:44 I mean, again, and I've said this before,

20:46 this goes back to a lot of the free agent signings.

20:48 I mean, Pat Ricard is the perfect example

20:51 of a free agent signing that fits that same exact characteristic.

20:55 And then every single draft pick just about fits that that quality as well.

21:00 I mean, Arville Reese described his game.

21:03 What do he say?

21:03 Fast and violent.

21:05 Francis Maui Noah, the first thing he says is Jackson Dart, I'll die for you.

21:10 Like, and then, you know, I mentioned this one one of the shows

21:13 with Paul last week for Colton Hood and Malachi Fields.

21:17 If you go to their prospect page on NFL.com,

21:21 Lance Zerine, in the first sentence of both of their descriptions,

21:26 Lance uses the word bully in describing how the the two of them play.

21:31 So, yeah.

21:32 And again, and that goes to the day three picks as well.

21:35 So clearly that sort of physicality like I'm going to run

21:39 at you straight on and hit you as hard as I can.

21:42 That characteristic was something that they have

21:44 looked for since the start of the offseason.

21:48 No, I'm with you.

21:48 All right, I want to get to Jane Phoenix here because

21:50 he says he has a meeting he's got to get to.

21:51 Pearson, should we get to him before he has to run?

21:54 And then we'll touch on the rest of your Giants

21:55 life takes and we'll talk about his topic which is great.

21:58 Just very very quickly just seeing that the NFL has

22:01 confirmed that schedule release will be next Thursday, May 14th.

22:05 Thursday.

22:05 All right.

22:06 Usually it's a Wednesday.

22:07 They're going for Thursday this year, huh?

22:09 So, all right.

22:09 Sounds good.

22:10 All right.

22:10 Let's go to Jay in Phoenix.

22:11 He wants to talk about DJ Reader.

22:12 Then we'll give our take on that, too.

22:13 Jay, what's going on?

22:15 Yeah.

22:15 Um, you guys were talking about the Giant Light video.

22:17 I did check that out this morning, too, before work.

22:19 And it's awesome.

22:21 I think what makes it so much fun is like you said,

22:23 you see the emotional reactions of the decision makers making the picks,

22:27 but it's fun to see the guys,

22:29 the kids getting drafted and their families like especially I'm sure we're going

22:33 to see it in the next part two where we'll see Colton Hood's video,

22:36 but just to watch that emotional release of just he did it.

22:41 He he accomplished what he wanted to do and he got picked by the Giants,

22:45 which was and and Jay, which is like 18 years of work.

22:47 People think, oh, you know, the draft process and all that stuff.

22:50 No, these kids are working their butts off

22:52 for like a decade and a half to get here.

22:55 Oh, absolutely.

22:55 So, it's unbelievable.

22:56 And their parents, too.

22:57 I mean, they age with sports.

22:59 I mean, the sacrifice of mom and dad to get kids to sign them up for camps,

23:03 to get them different places, to get them in clubs,

23:05 to and some of these kids going off to schools

23:07 where they're not even living at home like that.

23:09 A big academy down in Florida.

23:10 Yeah, I am.

23:11 They're not even living at home.

23:12 It's crazy.

23:14 Absolutely.

23:14 So, um but I was I was wanting to call in real quick.

23:17 I listened to Paul's interviews talking

23:19 to the guys out in Detroit about DJ Reer.

23:21 I am thrilled that he's on the team.

23:24 I know that he's a step down from Dex or a couple step downs.

23:27 I get that.

23:28 But he sounds like a real leader

23:29 who's going to influence those young defensive tackles

23:34 immediately coming in and he goes through

23:37 their film work from college and stuff with them.

23:39 I think is crazy.

23:40 But I was wondering watching highlights of him

23:44 and seeing what he did to the Giants offensive line,

23:47 in particular, John Michael Schmidz, if you guys have any influence,

23:51 tell them that uh, you know,

23:52 John Michael Schmidz could probably use some pointers because

23:55 I really want to see Schmidz get a second contract.

23:58 You know, I don't like seeing our draft picks leave because they didn't make it,

24:01 they weren't good enough or whatever.

24:03 But I'd really like to see him get a new contract and I think that DJ Reer

24:06 might be able to help him because that's

24:08 the type of defensive tackle that he struggles against.

24:11 So going against him in camp,

24:13 maybe getting some pointers from Reer, I think will really help Schmidt.

24:16 But that's all I had to say, guys.

24:17 I got to run.

24:18 So we'll talk to you later and have a great weekend.

24:20 Appreciate the call, Jay.

24:21 Thank you.

24:22 Yeah, I mean Schmidz is, you know, he did go against Dexter in practice,

24:26 so it's not like he hasn't had this experience going against a guy of that size.

24:30 Um, I did not hear the interviews that Paul did.

24:32 Were you on those with him?

24:33 Did you hear him at all?

24:35 No.

24:35 Okay, I'll have to go back and and and and check him out.

24:37 But look,

24:38 DJ Reer is a really good addition.

24:39 Uh, he's 330 lbs.

24:41 He's a veteran that's out for a long time.

24:43 He's 30 years old, so a veteran, but not,

24:46 and this is no shade at the other player,

24:48 but you know, Shelby Harris is like 36.

24:49 the big difference between 30 and 36 y in in terms of where you are.

24:54 Um he has a history of being a pretty darn good run defender.

24:58 Um he has some pass rush pop as well.

25:01 Um whether it was at the Bengals or Detroit, he's done it in multiple stops.

25:04 So to me, this is as good of a player, Matt,

25:08 that you could have gotten to help at least soften

25:11 the blow of not having Dexter Lawrence there as your nose tackle.

25:14 Yeah.

25:14 Look, we've said this a lot, I feel like,

25:17 but given the timing of the Dexter Lawrence trade,

25:21 you know, all the top free agents were already gone.

25:23 The top guys on the market had already signed, you know,

25:26 everyone signs or agrees the deals within

25:28 the first three or four days of free agency.

25:31 So given the fact that this was this happened

25:35 what six weeks after free agency began and they got

25:38 a guy that when NFL.com released their list of top

25:42 100 free agents at the very beginning of the off season,

25:46 DJ Reer was a I want to say he was like 54.

25:50 So the fact that you were able to get a guy even

25:51 that high on the list at this point of the offseason and that you

25:55 know the reasonable reported numbers that are coming out for that deal it's

26:00 like that it's good value and it's making the best of the situation.

26:04 Like obviously you as we've said he's not Dexter Lawrence.

26:08 Dexter Lawrence is one of the be very best at his position,

26:11 one of the best defenders in the NFL but he's gone now.

26:15 So all you can do is try to fill that hole as best as possible.

26:19 And given the circumstances, this was the best outcome for the Giants

26:23 in terms of addressing the defensive line.

26:25 Yeah.

26:25 So Dexter's calf number is around like 20, right?

26:27 21.

26:27 I think it's even higher.

26:28 I think 20 for this year.

26:30 Dexter's Yeah.

26:31 What was it before they traded him?

26:33 26 or 27.

26:34 Yeah.

26:35 Well, let me take that back.

26:36 His base salary.

26:37 Oh, the base salary that

26:38 that was about 21, right?

26:40 Because the other one was was was pro-rated signing bonus if I'm not mistaken.

26:42 Right.

26:43 So the reason I'm trying to figure out the math.

26:45 So the Giants saved around let's say 21 on the trade

26:48 right now Maui know his contract is about 5 and a half.

26:53 Mino's first year and his rookie deal is about five and a half.

26:55 You look at the reported numbers on Reer.

26:57 So now that we can look what the final trade is now, right?

27:00 Would you rather have Dexter Lawrence or Marino Noah

27:04 Reer and then an additional $8 million to spend?

27:07 I mean you can throw Shelby Harris into that group as well.

27:11 You have to take some money off of that.

27:12 But yes, correct.

27:13 And like whoever, you know, whatever their defensive tackles,

27:16 but I think given what you're looking at, I think given Dex's age

27:22 and the reported weight issues that he

27:23 had in Cincinnati when he showed up there, I think that's a I think that's a I

27:27 think you're looking pretty good when it comes to that.

27:29 You know what I mean?

27:30 Yeah.

27:30 I mean, look, the the very biggest thing,

27:32 which I said since the day the trade was announced, was that

27:35 Dex Lawren just didn't want to be here.

27:37 You shouldn't want anyone in this locker room that doesn't want to be here.

27:40 You don't want to be someone hostage, so to speak,

27:43 who's supposed to be the leader of your team.

27:46 But a lot of times, as you know, this really doesn't want to be somewhere,

27:52 other teams like to try to take advantage

27:53 of that and get that player on the cheap.

27:55 I think given the situation,

27:58 the Giants did as well as could possibly be expected.

28:01 Oh, 100%.

28:01 Because on the other side of that trade was a Cincinnati

28:04 team where if you want to believe the reports coming out

28:07 of Cincinnati were a little bit desperate to bring in some

28:10 sort of star power name in order to appease their star quarterback.

28:15 And by the way, I understand the trade from the Bengals perspective too.

28:18 For sure 100%.

28:19 Their defense needed a big boost 100%.

28:22 Cuz the defense has been holding that team back for years now.

28:25 So Dexter Lawrence is certainly going to help their defense

28:28 and there was no up unless you want a cat room and bay

28:30 in that conversation and maybe they didn't like him at the arm length.

28:33 There was no dominant defensive player that was on the board there

28:38 at 10 unless you wanted to draft a safety in Caleb DS.

28:41 No.

28:41 And they're, you know,

28:42 at a stage obviously they have the established star quarterback in Joe Burrow,

28:46 the the wide receivers, the weapons around him with Jamar Chase and T.

28:50 Higgins, other notable players around the roster where

28:53 they can kind of risk taking that all-in move.

28:56 That's a win now team.

28:57 Yeah, they're I mean, they're ready to win now.

28:59 Will they win a Super Bowl?

29:01 I don't know.

29:01 I think they're pretty still have a a uphill battle to climb,

29:06 but obviously Dexter Lawrence gets them a little bit closer to that.

29:10 And so from their perspective,

29:11 I understand rolling the dice and making this huge trade to get that impact

29:15 player that clearly they didn't think they were going to get at number 10.

29:18 All right, let's go to John in Cape Cod.

29:20 John, what's happening?

29:23 Hey, good afternoon, John.

29:24 Matt, love the show like always.

29:27 Thank you.

29:27 Thank you, John.

29:28 Uh, there were just a couple things I wanted to talk

29:31 about and then discuss the last one on the off the air.

29:35 Uh, when you mentioned Chuck Marcine, it reminded me of a story.

29:39 Uh, the other guy that went to Green Bay from the Giants was Bob Highland.

29:47 And I knew Bob because he had a restaurant in White Plains.

29:51 Uh we were discussing stuff one day and he

29:54 told me that the Giants had a pipeline.

29:57 There was a pipeline between the Giants and Green Bay.

30:01 And coincidentally, a friend of my father-in-laws was a guy named Ed Franco who

30:07 was one of the seven blocks of granite that played with Lombardi at Forom.

30:14 Okay.

30:13 And Ed scouted for the Giants part time.

30:16 I'm scouted for Green Bay part-time and probably had something to do

30:21 with getting Mercen and Highland both onto the Green Bay team.

30:26 That's interesting.

30:28 Yeah, very interesting story.

30:29 He was I I met Ed Franco several times and he was huge and later in life

30:36 which I found interesting because when Lombardi plays

30:40 on the bordom line he was about 165 pounds.

30:43 Wait, was he really Lombardi?

30:46 Franco had to be well over 200, so he must have been a big man.

30:51 Lombardi was just 165 when he played on the four

30:54 and and and I read the Lombardi book when when when Pride Still Matters.

30:58 I did not remember he was only 165 pounds.

31:01 Check it out.

31:02 I've been I wouldn't swear, John,

31:04 but told that several times that he was in that range.

31:09 Lines were were fairly small in those days.

31:12 Anyway, um you know, I I live near I live in Patriots territory now,

31:18 so I got to see the Ravens a lot.

31:21 And from the time I started watching Harbo, I I said,

31:25 "This is Parcel's type football." And now that he's with the Giants,

31:31 I'm going to double down on that.

31:32 Very similar philosophies.

31:35 All right.

31:35 So, John, I have it here.

31:36 585.

31:38 So, you were close.

31:39 5'8.

31:40 I didn't realize Lombardi was only 5'8 either.

31:42 I didn't realize he was short.

31:43 I got to tell Lance about that.

31:44 Oh, he'll get like the Lombardi poster up on his wall.

31:48 Yeah.

31:48 Not no.

31:49 Which at 185, unless he had, you know,

31:53 four 43 speed, they wouldn't even look at a guy today.

31:57 No, because they because they would be they would get crushed.

32:00 I mean, my goodness.

32:01 I mean, like, he was he was barely bigger than Pearson.

32:04 I mean, Pearson would have got murdered.

32:07 Pearson taking shots.

32:08 It's not a shot.

32:09 That's just saying.

32:10 I think 581 581 is a little bit big, tall, a little bit heavier than Pearson.

32:16 I mean, there are exceptional players.

32:18 There always have been exceptional small players

32:22 in the NFL NFL throughout its history,

32:25 you know, go go all the way back to Buddy Young.

32:29 But anyway, um or Nolan, the guy they called Supernat.

32:34 Anyway, the the one I want to leave you with is

32:38 I'm trying to get my head around these situational positions.

32:42 Sure.

32:43 Now, for most of the years in the NFL, there were 43 or 34 teams.

32:49 Uh when you say that that the snaps for McFaden should be reduced,

32:57 uh that assumes the Giants aren't going

32:59 to play any three lineback three linebacker sets.

33:03 Is that because with the hybrid type defenses, they're playing more DBs?

33:09 I I'll take this discussion off the air, guys.

33:11 Thanks for a great show.

33:12 No, thank you, John.

33:13 No, and I think that's I think that's a good question.

33:14 Look, we have not seen Dinard Wilson's defense in action yet.

33:18 So, this is us just presupposing based on what he did in Tennessee.

33:22 But when they were in base in Tennessee, they were a three- four defense.

33:27 So, that has two inside linebackers and two outside linebackers.

33:30 Your two outside linebackers in theory would

33:33 be a combination of Burns, Tibido, Carter.

33:36 Your two inside linebackers in theory will be Reese and Edmonds.

33:40 Now, might they at times if when they're in base,

33:43 which by the way is probably only going to be

33:47 depending some games they'll not be in base at all.

33:50 Other games they'll be in base for like 10 plays, 15 plays,

33:55 whatever the the base defense is.

33:56 It really doesn't matter.

33:57 No, it doesn't matter anymore.

33:58 And then this is where I'm going.

33:59 And you're 100% right.

34:00 You know, maybe you have Reese on at outside

34:02 linebacker and in base on one of these three, four base snaps, but whatever.

34:07 More than likely than not, it's going to be a 425.

34:10 Four down linemen, two linebackers, and five defensive backs.

34:13 Now, one of those DBs might be a safety.

34:15 The the fifth DB might be a safety.

34:16 The 50 DB could be a corner depending on the team you're playing,

34:19 the matchup, and and who you want to have out there on the field.

34:21 But in those situations,

34:23 your two defensive ends in that fourman front will be

34:27 from that group of outside linebackers we talked about, right?

34:30 Tibido, Burns, Carter.

34:32 Now, I think Chanty Goston could also be in that mix

34:35 as well as one of those potential 4-3 down linemen.

34:38 And then you'll have Reese and Edmonds as your two inside linebackers off ball.

34:43 So that's why I think in my opinion, at least Matt, McFaten snaps on defense.

34:48 Of course, guys get hurt, things happen,

34:50 he might get on the field, but if everyone's healthy,

34:53 I I don't see that many opportunities for him to get on the field.

34:56 Yeah.

34:56 I mean, he would have to overcome either Arville Reese or Tummaine Edmonds,

35:01 which I don't think that's happening, by the way.

35:03 And that is through no fault of Micah McFaten.

35:05 No, by no means, but I mean, Tummaine Edmonds obviously has a pretty long

35:09 track record of proven success in the NFL,

35:12 and the Giants went out and signed him pretty

35:14 early on in free agency to anchor the defense.

35:16 And we've already spoken about how much John Harbaugh, Joe Shane,

35:20 the whole coaching staff and front office love Aral Reese.

35:23 He was the top player on their board.

35:24 So I think it would be tough for him to overcome those guys.

35:28 And then it's like is he going to be taking snaps?

35:31 Like are they going to use a formation to make sure

35:33 McFaten gets over the field over Abdul Carter or Kavon Tibido?

35:40 Unlikely.

35:39 Probably not.

35:40 So again, it's nothing no fault to Micah McFaten and no,

35:44 you know, criticism towards him,

35:47 but it's just these other guys obviously have shown so far that they probably,

35:54 you know, deserve to be on the field a little bit more.

35:56 Now, that could change obviously.

35:58 He was Michael McFaten has been on the on the up the last couple of seasons.

36:03 Obviously, he only played a quarter and a half

36:05 last year before suffering the season ending injury,

36:08 but the two seasons prior to that, he looked

36:10 like he was getting better each and every year.

36:12 Who knows?

36:12 Maybe he continues that trend and gets takes another huge jump this year.

36:16 It's possible.

36:18 And in which case, that might change the equation,

36:20 but as things stand, you know, the before OTAAS begin,

36:25 I think he might have a little bit of an uphill battle

36:27 to get a significant number of snaps on the defensive side of the ball.

36:32 Correct.

36:32 All right, let's go to Frank in Texas.

36:34 He's been holding the longest.

36:35 Frank, what's going on?

36:37 Not much.

36:38 First of all, longtime listener, first time caller.

36:40 Absolutely love the show, guys.

36:42 Thanks for calling in, Frank.

36:42 And more importantly, thanks for listening, man.

36:45 Absolutely.

36:45 Yeah, I've been listening for a few years and um you know,

36:48 try to to listen live when I can, but mostly catch it after the fact.

36:52 So, uh glad to be able to call in today.

36:54 Thank you.

36:55 Appreciate it.

36:57 Yep.

36:57 So, I just have one question for you guys and I'll take the answer off the air,

37:01 but you know, as most Giants fans are,

37:03 I'm super excited about Jackson Dart's rookie year and the success that he

37:08 had both on and off the field and the way that he carries himself.

37:12 Um, but what usually leads to a regression

37:16 in year two for quarterbacks and then um what

37:19 do you think coach John Harbaugh will do

37:22 as a veteran coach to prevent that from happening?

37:24 And I'll take the answer off the air.

37:26 Appreciate it,

37:26 Frank.

37:26 I think that's a wonderful question to be honest with you because I don't think

37:30 I don't think this is something we've talked about enough,

37:32 Matt, this off season, just because there's been so many changes, right?

37:36 New coach, the the draft, the picks, and all that stuff.

37:40 But really, and I think this is a good part

37:42 of a longer conversation we can have and and Kingsley,

37:44 we'll get to you, don't worry.

37:45 But really, if you want to look to me,

37:49 when I look at things that I'm not positive about that will have the biggest

37:53 impact on how good the Giants are going to be in 2027, 2026, pardon me.

37:58 The top three item on that list is how well does Jackson Dart play?

38:03 And that has nothing to do with him as a player

38:06 or my high hopes for him or what he showed as a rookie.

38:09 You just never know what a quarterback's going to do in his second year.

38:12 We've seen guys take big jumps.

38:14 We've seen guys take steps backs steps back

38:17 and we've seen guys kind of become static.

38:19 So what does Jackson Dart look like this year?

38:22 And this goes to his question I think was a good one.

38:24 What leads to those dips, right?

38:27 And I think there are a few different things,

38:31 the environment being the number one.

38:33 And that's obviously a very broad way to state

38:36 it because there are different parts of that environment.

38:38 Does the offensive system change right now?

38:41 There's no guarantee that if it does change or doesn't change that, you know,

38:45 CJ Strat had the same offensive coordinator in year two.

38:48 Still had a big regression.

38:50 The offensive coordinator got fired after the year.

38:52 But so is the change always a good or a bad thing?

38:55 There's no way to know.

38:56 But change in offensive system.

38:58 Does the offensive line hold up in front of the player?

39:00 Well, the Giants have added to the offensive line.

39:02 It should be better with Francis Maui Noah sticking

39:05 in there at right guard and everyone else returning.

39:07 Right.

39:08 The wide receiver room.

39:09 This would probably be the biggest question,

39:12 but then you think about you're like, hold on a second.

39:14 Dart really didn't play with Malik Neighbors last year either.

39:17 He did not at all.

39:18 Exactly.

39:19 They had a quarter and a half together.

39:21 Correct.

39:21 Now you lost Wanda Robinson,

39:23 but you're bringing Fields, you're bringing Mooney, you're bringing Likely.

39:26 That should, in my opinion,

39:28 mitigate the Wondo Robinson thing as much as you need it to be.

39:32 So you don't see much of a dip in the wide receiver room in my opinion.

39:35 So I guess and you add Isaiah Likely as a pass catching option.

39:38 Correct.

39:39 So, I guess the only place where I could say that I

39:42 would have worry about the regression is just the new offensive system,

39:48 but does that help him?

39:49 Because now teams are seeing him do different stuff,

39:51 so they're not as prepared for him.

39:53 So, I don't think there's an obvious reason

39:55 you're staring at for why there would be

39:57 a regression aside from again the offensive system

39:59 change going from year one to year two.

40:01 Well, something you just said there carries

40:03 perfectly into what I was going to say in that I think one big thing

40:07 that will sometimes determine quarterbacks either making the jump

40:10 or taking a step back in year two is you now have you know in not

40:15 all cases a full season for Jackson Dart I think it was what 12 games total

40:20 12 games of film that opposing defenses and defensive

40:23 coordinators can now look at going into your rookie

40:25 year like yeah they can look at your college

40:28 tape but that could be a completely different system.

40:31 Obviously, completely different players around you.

40:34 So, it's you can look, they definitely do look at that with rookie quarterbacks,

40:37 but there's only so much you can learn from that.

40:39 You're 100% right.

40:39 100%.

40:40 Year two though, all the defensive coordinators the Giants

40:43 are going to face this year now have 12,

40:45 13, whatever games of tape to look at for Jackson Dart.

40:48 And so, the question now becomes knowing

40:51 that these defensive coordinators have this film on him now,

40:54 knowing what his game is sort of like,

40:56 and especially, you know, the running aspect of his game.

40:58 We all saw he likes to run with the ball.

41:00 It's a big part of his game.

41:02 Can he make the necessary adjustments to counteract

41:05 the adjustments that these defensive coordinators are

41:07 now going to make to try to mitigate the things that he did well last season?

41:11 Some guys go into year two and do that in a great

41:15 way and those are the guys that make the big jumps.

41:17 Other guys struggle mightily with that.

41:19 They're unable to make those adjustments and that's

41:21 when you see them take a step back.

41:23 So I Jackson Dart from all accounts,

41:26 you know, obviously seems like a very smart quarterback.

41:29 I I hope and think that he will be able to make

41:32 those necessary adjustments and obviously the new

41:34 coaching staff will help with that.

41:36 Matt Naggie will be a big part in helping

41:38 him navigate that, but that is going to be,

41:41 in my opinion, potentially the biggest thing whether

41:44 or not Jackson makes the jump this year.

41:45 Yeah, I'm with you.

41:46 And again, you wonder with the new offensive system,

41:48 does that mitigate that a little bit?

41:50 You know what I mean?

41:50 So yeah, I'm with you.

41:52 Uh it was 14 games, 12 starts

41:53 by the way because because I did not remember either.

41:56 Um so he had the first two games where he had one carry in each of them.

41:59 Yeah, correct.

42:00 Yeah.

42:00 So 12 games and but look,

42:02 you're right and I think how Dart does

42:05 in year two and guys look there is some level

42:10 of you know lack of not lack of consistency

42:15 from Dar but volatility in general at the position.

42:18 Like we've seen quarterbacks that, and again,

42:21 I'm not saying this is what Dart is,

42:22 but we've seen quarterbacks that aren't very good

42:25 put up really good numbers for half a year.

42:27 We've seen quarterbacks that are very good put up bad numbers for a half a year.

42:32 So, when you're dealing with small sample sizes,

42:34 there's always opportunities for really large standard deviations

42:39 from what that first small sample size is.

42:42 So there's just a natural volatility to the position

42:45 that what is this thing going to look like?

42:49 I don't think anyone really knows.

42:51 You feel good about it, but when you're dealing with a small sample size,

42:55 things can change a lot from year 1 to year two,

42:57 even at a position like quarterback.

42:59 Yeah.

43:00 I mean, and you would hope with the Giants

43:02 going into 2026 that an improved defense

43:05 will help Jackson Dart because obviously last year

43:08 the Giants defense did not help him too often,

43:12 you know, from a week in and week out basis.

43:14 And having a better defense is obviously

43:16 going to put the offense in better situations.

43:19 So having, you know, I you call it a I guess a more stable coaching staff

43:23 because obviously there were many changes made during the season last year.

43:28 He lost his head coach and play caller.

43:32 Well, no, Kfka.

43:34 Was Dable calling plays from week one?

43:36 I They went back and forth so many times.

43:38 No, Cafka did the whole year.

43:40 Did the whole year.

43:40 Okay.

43:41 But you lost obviously your head coach.

43:43 I had to think about that, but yes, I'm pretty sure Cafka did the whole year.

43:46 Your offensive coordinator and play caller then took over

43:49 as head coach and then you had a new offensive coordinator.

43:53 He dealt with a decent amount of changes during his rookie season and still

43:57 was able to put up a pretty imp promising and encouraging rookie season.

44:02 So obviously just more stability all around you would hope will help not

44:08 only Jackson but this entire team and especially a lot of the young players.

44:13 No, I'm with you on that.

44:14 And then the last thing I'll throw out there too,

44:17 um, in in terms of the last part of his question,

44:20 how can John, what can John Harbaugh do to mitigate the chance of a step back?

44:25 I think putting him in the best situations possible.

44:27 And I think having people say run the ball will help the quarterback.

44:32 Running the ball successfully will help the quarterback.

44:35 Running the ball poorly on early downs and being in third

44:38 and seven and third and eight is not going to help the quarterback.

44:41 So I think with longer Greg Roman and Matt

44:43 Naggie and Callahan putting together in a successful

44:48 running game where Dart is not in a lot

44:50 of these third and longs and third downs.

44:52 But I think more importantly and I think this will

44:54 be a little bit of an adjustment for Jackson.

44:56 He did it in high school but he did not do a whole

44:58 lot in college of play action turn your back and look downfield.

45:02 Again high school he did a ton of it but we

45:05 didn't see that last year a ton with the Giants.

45:07 And frankly, if you do the breakdown on what

45:10 his numbers were in those situations last year,

45:12 they were not the best.

45:14 So if you can get him used to turn your back, under center, play action,

45:19 pass, those are always early downs,

45:22 some of the most successful passes for quarterbacks.

45:25 It's the most efficient.

45:26 You get the most EP out of those plays.

45:28 You get downfield plays a lot.

45:30 So if you can get him used to that and get him succeeding on those early

45:34 down play action under center passes because

45:37 of a successful running game which helps set

45:39 that up that to me is how Harbaugh and Naggi and Roman and Callahan can put

45:45 him in the best situation so you don't have that step back from his rookie year.

45:50 Yeah.

45:50 And since day one John Harbaugh has made it very clear

45:53 that the emphasis will be on being able to run the ball successfully.

45:56 I mean, day one he said run the ball and stop the run.

45:59 Those are two things that we're going to be doing this year.

46:02 And those are things obviously the run game did have success last year,

46:05 but Jackson Dart himself played a big part in that.

46:07 He had a lot of added a lot of rushing production which led to those overall,

46:12 you know, top of the league rushing stats.

46:16 So obviously you still want him to be able to run the ball himself,

46:19 but you hope that you know the Cam Scaboo, Tyrone Tracy, Devin Singleary,

46:24 the running backs will carry a lot of that load this year.

46:27 And again, as you just mentioned, having a successful run game is going to set

46:31 Jackson up to succeed in the passing game.

46:34 If teams have to actually honor your running game and be somewhat scared of it,

46:40 then that's going to set things up and open things up for the passing game.

46:43 So I'm I'm with you 100%.

46:45 which is what you had when before, you know,

46:46 even Tyron Tracy did a nice job,

46:47 but especially before Scataboo got hurt last year.

46:50 Yeah,

46:50 you were in that situation.

46:51 All right, let's go to Kingsley in Brooklyn.

46:53 Kingsley, what's up?

46:56 Hey guys, good afternoon.

46:57 How you guys doing, John and Matt?

46:58 We're great, man.

46:59 How are you?

46:59 How are you?

47:00 I'm good.

47:01 Uh, I don't know if Matt remembers, but I actually called during draft day,

47:05 uh, and we talked about, uh,

47:07 John Harbaugh's quote of, uh, wanting football guys.

47:12 Yeah.

47:11 And we were trying to think of which players in the draft would exemplify that.

47:16 I had no idea of Ree would fall to to five

47:21 because he actually plays with a very violent style.

47:25 Yes.

47:25 That's very very uh indicative of what the Giants are becoming.

47:31 And it made me think,

47:33 do you guys think that coaches or GMs take

47:37 into account the personalities of their quarterback and say,

47:41 "Let's surround this guy with as many guys that fit

47:44 his onfield personality." Like how

47:48 Cam Scatteraboo fits Jackson Dart's personality.

47:51 Even Maui Noah fits that personality.

47:54 or do you think this just happens to be like a a happy coincidence?

48:00 I don't think necessarily that you look

48:02 for players that match your quarterback's personality,

48:05 but you want your quarterback to match the personality

48:08 and like the identity of the of the overall team,

48:11 which I do think Jackson Dart's personality,

48:14 his mindset matches perfectly with John Harbaugh and, you know,

48:18 loving football, wanting to be here every day.

48:20 So,

48:21 it doesn't surprise me.

48:22 I mean, again, from John Harbaugh himself,

48:24 Jackson Dart being here played a big role

48:27 in him wanting to come coach this team.

48:29 So, I think those two personalities matched up

48:31 to start and then everyone else you're adding,

48:34 I don't know if necessarily you want

48:36 to credit to matching Jackson's personality or mindset.

48:39 I think it's more of matching what coach John Harbaugh wants

48:42 to do and Jackson just fits perfectly into that mold already.

48:45 Exactly what I would have said.

48:48 Okay, thank you guys.

48:49 Perfect answer.

48:50 Thank you.

48:50 Thank you, Kingsley.

48:51 Appreciate it.

48:51 No, but I think you're right.

48:52 And it just so happened that Dart has the personality, right?

48:56 Like for example, just to give a little bit of a different type of player.

49:01 Let's say Kirk Cousins was the Giants incumbent quarterback.

49:04 All right.

49:05 I think Kirk and Jackson probably have a little bit of a different personality.

49:08 Fair.

49:09 Just a little bit.

49:09 Just a little bit.

49:10 I don't think you're drafting guys to match Kirk Cousins personality.

49:13 And again, I'm a big Kirk Cousins fan.

49:14 This is not a knock at Kirk Cousins.

49:15 He's just a very different personality than Jackson Dart.

49:17 Although him and Fernando Mendoza do have a pretty similar personality there.

49:21 They do.

49:22 That is true.

49:22 They they actually do.

49:24 Um but I don't think you're matching

49:25 then with your quarterback personalities to your point.

49:27 I just think you're trying to match your football

49:29 team's personality and Dart happens to fit into that cluster.

49:31 I'm with you 100%.

49:33 All right, let's go to Al in Minnesota.

49:35 He's up next.

49:35 Hey, Al.

49:37 Hi.

49:38 Hi, Matt and John.

49:39 How are you guys?

49:39 We're good.

49:40 Good.

49:40 How you doing?

49:42 I'm doing okay.

49:43 I'm driving, but yeah.

49:44 Uh I want to just argue with one thing John

49:46 used to say that uh when the opponent uh when

49:50 the opposing team successfully make 10 or more yard rush

49:55 rushes uh or runs uh that falls on the secondary.

50:00 I don't think that this is all the 100% true all the time.

50:05 Uh I think it depends on the scheme.

50:07 So if if the off if the defensive

50:09 line is preoccupied with pass r pass pass rushing

50:13 and and flipping and there are some gaps and then

50:16 and then the secondary were assigned uh coverage man-to-man coverage,

50:20 they will not be able to cover

50:22 for for any running back who escaped the the defensive.

50:26 No, Al, you know what?

50:27 You were right.

50:28 That is a that you're 100% I'm not going

50:29 to argue that in that specific situation you're talking about.

50:32 If you're playing man defense in the secondary though,

50:34 usually your safety or two are not going to have man responsibilities on a play.

50:40 So, they're still going to be free to come up and make a play.

50:42 But, you're right.

50:43 If you're running like a crazy twister stunt and it opens up

50:46 a huge gap in your line and your linebackers are bailing to cover

50:50 a tight end or a running back and you know your your your one

50:54 of your safeties is is covering a tight end or a slot player,

50:57 then yes, you're right.

50:58 that can certainly lend itself to allowing more explosive runs.

51:02 I don't disagree with you.

51:03 I think that's a really fair point.

51:06 Well, thank you.

51:07 The other point I want to predict now that we have,

51:10 you know, very good pass rusher and linebackers.

51:14 I think that the opposing teams will throw more balls and with that I

51:18 predict that our defense will have more interception this coming season.

51:22 I really do.

51:24 No, look, I think there's a good possibility of that if

51:26 you make teams throw and you put them in tough

51:27 situations to throw it third and long and stuff like

51:30 that, you're naturally going to have more opportunities to have interceptions.

51:34 And the last point I want to make, uh, I think John Harvo, you know,

51:38 with with, you know, relying on a a strong fullback,

51:42 I think he likes to have big runs.

51:45 And I think chances of making big runs would

51:48 be more likely if you have a fast running back.

51:53 And in my opinion, if Singleary is tradable,

51:56 I think Turbo Miller might be more valuable in John Cargo's team than Singleary.

52:03 And I don't know if you can get any free cash by trading singleary.

52:06 I mean that's just as low.

52:08 No.

52:09 Thank you guys.

52:10 And I'll I'll take your your answer off off the off the floor.

52:14 Great call.

52:14 Great call.

52:15 And look, I think we've seen the history in Harbaugh's teams.

52:17 He likes to have that one really fast running back.

52:19 Whether that's Turbo Miller.

52:20 We talked about the undrafted free agent they signed or somebody else.

52:24 I do think there are room there is room on John Harbaugh

52:28 rosters in John Harbaugh running back rooms for that burner burner running back.

52:33 Tracy's fast, but he's not like a 43 guy.

52:36 You know what I mean?

52:37 Yeah.

52:37 And just what Al said about Singleary,

52:40 it was reported months ago that he agreed to restructure his contract.

52:46 And so obviously that's not something that we, you know,

52:49 officially announced in any sort of way,

52:51 but the reports are out there that, you know,

52:53 he had a little bit of guaranteed money left on his deal

52:56 and the reported restructuring brought

52:59 his salary down to that guaranteed number.

53:02 So, and which basically, by the way, folks,

53:03 if you only have one year left on your deal and you restructure your contract,

53:06 that's another eupheanism for pay cut.

53:09 Yeah.

53:09 So, if the Giants were to cut him, which it's it's still possible, right?

53:14 It would not save them anything towards the capit.

53:17 They that money would still be dead cap instead of

53:20 But would it shock me if some other team had

53:22 a big running back injury in the summer that they called

53:24 the Giants say we we need this veteran to step

53:26 in and be a a part of a twoman team for us?

53:29 Singleary is still a good player.

53:31 Yeah, he can still play.

53:32 So, no, that would not solid in the limited action that he got.

53:35 And he is right, though.

53:36 If you have a lot of movement up front and you're playing man-to-man,

53:38 that can allow some big runs down the field.

53:40 I don't think that was a reason for a lot

53:42 of the Giants big runs over the last couple years.

53:44 Maybe you go back to Wing Martenddale when he played a ton of man

53:47 then maybe about that season.

53:50 Sure.

53:50 But that to me was more of a taking bad angles, you know,

53:54 missing tackles, linebackers not filling the right

53:57 gaps when they were supposed to.

53:59 And now obviously part of that's the defensive line

54:02 because if the defensive line doesn't allow that initial gap,

54:05 you're not going to necess you're not going

54:07 to have that big run down the field, right?

54:09 So that's part of it.

54:10 Yes, absolutely.

54:12 But it has to do with what's happening in the back

54:16 half of that defense too as my only point.

54:19 100%.

54:18 All right, final call of the show.

54:19 Let's go to Braayden in California.

54:22 Braden, what's happening?

54:24 Hey there.

54:24 Uh, thanks for having me.

54:26 How you guys doing?

54:27 We're good, man.

54:27 Thanks for calling.

54:27 What do you got?

54:29 Sweet.

54:29 All right.

54:30 So, you know, the Giants draft Arval Reese and I mean like I'm looking at all

54:34 the mock drafts and like everybody like has him labeled as like an edge rusher,

54:38 you know, and then Harbaugh clears up all the confusion,

54:41 says we're going to put him at a linebacker next to Tmaine Edmonds, right?

54:45 Yep.

54:45 Do you do you think I just want to hear your guys' insight on this?

54:48 Do you think that, you know,

54:49 as the season goes on, obviously he's going to play linebacker,

54:52 but do you think that they're going to try to implement him,

54:54 you know, try to get him working on the edge, you know,

54:57 so I mean maybe in the future he can play more on the edge.

54:59 I just want to hear what you guys had to say about that.

55:01 No, Braden, good question.

55:02 Appreciate the call.

55:03 I actually asked Joe Shane about this in our 20-minute

55:05 interview that is up on the Giants YouTube channel, by the way, Giants podcast.

55:08 Go check that out.

55:09 And I asked him at some point, I'm like, "So,

55:11 are they going to get are you going to get him some like

55:13 specialized pass rush training over the course of the year?" And he goes,

55:17 "Uh, we haven't had that conversation,

55:18 but I imagine he'll get some time with Charlie Bolan with the outside

55:21 linebackers to just work on some of those pass rush moves." So,

55:24 look, I don't know if he's going to be a straightup edge from much of the year.

55:28 Now, maybe if some guys get injured,

55:30 that could be something you do down the road,

55:32 but they will certainly use him as a pass rusher.

55:35 Whether that's him blitzing off the edge

55:37 or blitzing from the middle of the formation,

55:39 you will see him as a pass rusher throughout the year.

55:43 And yes, I do think they will work

55:45 and hone those skills as well as the offball stuff.

55:49 Remember, he played more off ball than edge in college,

55:51 so he's going to be more comfortable there.

55:53 I don't think you want to throw too much at a rookie in his rookie year

55:55 or you don't want his head swimming and trying to ask him to do too much Matt.

55:59 But yes, I believe they will hone those pass rush skills so they can

56:04 use him in those situations when they can over the course of the year.

56:07 Yeah, I mean the Giants have made it clear that he

56:08 is going to start at that linebacker position next to Tmaine Edmonds,

56:12 but and I said this earlier in the week with Paul on the show,

56:14 but if you look at last season, his most successful season at Ohio State by far,

56:20 it came with the arrival of Matt Patricia as the defensive coordinator.

56:24 And Matt Patricia used him in a way

56:26 that no previous defensive coordinator used him.

56:29 And that was sort of like a defensive chess piece, so to speak.

56:33 It was a Jamie Collins role when Jamie Collins was was was with New England.

56:36 Yes.

56:36 So, yes, he played off ball linebacker, but he also lined up at edge.

56:40 They moved him all around.

56:41 And I think to maybe not the same degree,

56:45 but to a lesser degree, we'll probably see similar usage of him this season.

56:50 Maybe not at first, cuz as you said, you don't want to give a rookie too much.

56:54 you don't want him to start drowning before

56:56 he even steps on the field for week one.

56:58 But if he shows early on that he's able to take on all of the, you know,

57:03 the the mental part of the game and be and not feel overwhelmed with learning,

57:08 you know, the new playbook, a whole new defense, new teammates around him.

57:11 If he's shows that he's more than capable of handling that, then

57:15 you start giving him a little more and a little more.

57:17 So, it wouldn't surprise me if not too far into the season,

57:20 we start seeing him really deployed all over the defensive front,

57:24 not just that one specific position.

57:27 But part of that will be getting at least some snaps at edge rusher.

57:31 But I think he will also be rushing the passer

57:34 from almost everywhere in the front seven throughout the year.

57:37 Nope, I agree with you.

57:38 All right, give me your rest of your Giants

57:41 life takeaways before we wrap things up here.

57:43 And I got one YouTube comment, too.

57:45 the rest of my Giants life takeaways.

57:47 Okay.

57:47 Um, again, it was just it was cool to see how

57:52 excited both John and Joe were to not only get Orville Reese,

57:56 but also CC Maui Noah.

57:58 It was, you know, I have said on the show before

58:01 that these really were two of the top guys on their board.

58:05 And if you didn't want to believe me,

58:06 you could watch their genuine reactions and the quotes that they

58:10 give in the moment when they find out that they

58:12 are landing as I think it was Joe said two

58:15 of their top four or five players on their board,

58:18 which they literally never thought was going to be a possibility.

58:22 I know they said that in the press conference after the first round,

58:26 but I feel like some people maybe didn't believe

58:28 them cuz you know sometimes coaches GMs just say

58:31 that, but they genuinely said it right in the moment

58:33 in front of the cameras like they meant it.

58:36 They were shocked that they were able to get two of their top players.

58:39 So that was awesome to see.

58:40 Uh it was nice to see.

58:43 I mean I I got to see those the two

58:45 guys the top 10 picks when they were actually in.

58:48 So, that part of the show, I guess, wasn't new to me.

58:52 Um, but I'm very much looking forward to the next part

58:56 with Colton Hood and and I'm assuming the next part covers Day Two.

59:01 Yeah.

59:01 I don't know yet, but Colton Hood and Malachi Fields

59:04 and especially seeing Joe sort of work the phones because

59:09 it seemed like according to reports that a trade

59:12 back in round two was a possibility.

59:14 Yep.

59:14 So, it would be interesting to see him work the phones.

59:17 And, you know, I've I've said this before that, and they said it,

59:21 that Colt Hood going into day two was their top guy on their board.

59:24 I know a lot of people seem to think that when the Houston Texans made

59:27 that trade to jump above the Giants

59:29 that they swiped McDonald right from the Giants.

59:32 I have told you guys that was not the case.

59:35 I hope that that that is depicted in the show and you guys can see

59:38 it yourselves that Colton Hood was going to be the pick if he was there.

59:42 And then moving into the third round,

59:44 very interested to see Joe work the phones in order to move

59:48 up in order to get Malachi Fields who clearly they had pretty,

59:52 you know, somewhat high on their draft boarded to make that big move up

59:55 and give up the future draft capital in order to make sure that they get him.

59:58 All right, let's go to our YouTube comment.

59:59 Trackstar 82 for one of next week's episodes.

1:00:03 Can you guys do a way too early 53man roster and maybe

1:00:07 any underdog players you see having a chance to make the roster?

1:00:10 All right, Trackstar, we'll do this.

1:00:13 Can we watch a week of OTAA practices?

1:00:15 Say before OTAAS is tough to do that.

1:00:17 Like, it's tough to get see the the underdog

1:00:21 players that might have a chance to make it.

1:00:23 It's tough to make that call when you can't

1:00:25 haven't even seen the some of these, you know,

1:00:27 undrafted rookies play with the veterans on the team,

1:00:32 which we won't see until OTAAS.

1:00:34 So, yeah.

1:00:35 Can you can you give us another week or two and then do that?

1:00:38 Okay, here's what we'll do.

1:00:40 Um, the final week of OTAAS is June 1st.

1:00:44 All right, so we get four practices that week.

1:00:46 All right, and then you have mini camp the following week.

1:00:49 I'm not asking for all of that because I think that's asking for too much.

1:00:51 I think we have too much information.

1:00:53 Then let's plan and I I don't think I

1:00:55 made the BBK BBK schedule for this week yet.

1:00:59 Let's do it the week of June 1st.

1:01:01 That'll give us 3 months before the final

1:01:03 roster is made at the beginning of September.

1:01:07 Okay, let's do it that week.

1:01:08 And then of course we'll do our 53man projections

1:01:09 at the end of August like we always do.

1:01:11 But I think that's a fair time to do it, right?

1:01:13 We'll do week of June 1st.

1:01:15 We'll do our far too early uh predictions for that.

1:01:18 That makes sense.

1:01:18 Cuz like right now we haven't seen these rookies, the undrafted guys at all.

1:01:24 And we also don't know, you know,

1:01:25 there's a full roster of guys out there right now.

1:01:28 There could be more signings.

1:01:29 We don't know.

1:01:29 We have to see what happens over today and tomorrow.

1:01:32 By the way, did you see the the one

1:01:34 message that Dan sent us while we were on air?

1:01:36 Uh, no.

1:01:37 I I I did not

1:01:38 the one report from the field cuz Dan Salamone is currently at practice.

1:01:43 He just wants to be outside report from the field.

1:01:46 Arll is massive.

1:01:47 Yeah, he is a large man.

1:01:48 Yeah, that much we knew already.

1:01:50 I walked out there for 20 minutes just before

1:01:51 here to walk around and see what was going on.

1:01:53 And yes, Arll Reese is is as big as he is.

1:01:57 And Tine Edmonds next to each other.

1:01:58 It's got to be the biggest pair of linebackers the Giants had in a long time.

1:02:02 Yes.

1:02:02 Then Maui Noah actually looks I'm not going to use

1:02:06 the word small because that's not the word I'm looking for.

1:02:09 Less not as wide as maybe I thought he did on tape.

1:02:13 I don't know if he dropped a little bit

1:02:14 of weight which would not be a bad thing.

1:02:16 By the way, if he's 320 instead of 330 that's fine,

1:02:18 but I I felt like he looked a little bit more spelt

1:02:21 and maybe less baby fat on him that maybe we would have seen.

1:02:24 Got to keep in mind he is only what 20 years old right now.

1:02:28 Yes, correct.

1:02:29 He's a baby.

1:02:30 He's a baby.

1:02:31 So, Pearson, you weren't offended by me

1:02:32 comparing you to Vince Lombardi, were you?

1:02:36 No.

1:02:35 Okay, good.

1:02:36 I would hope not.

1:02:37 Nope.

1:02:38 Good.

1:02:38 I think he's just happy that you haven't brought up the Celtics.

1:02:40 Although that was going to be what I was going to do.

1:02:41 We don't talk about the NBA.

1:02:42 We're a football podcast.

1:02:44 Are you doing all right, Pearson?

1:02:45 I'm fine.

1:02:46 He's had enough time to process it.

1:02:48 I legit can't watch NBA anymore.

1:02:50 You were I'll watch I'll watch the finals.

1:02:52 That's about it.

1:02:53 You were It It got you that badly.

1:02:56 I mean, we were up 3-1.

1:02:57 No, I I know.

1:02:58 I know.

1:02:59 If Tatum plays in game seven, you think the Celtics win?

1:03:02 Not if he's playing hurt.

1:03:04 If he's healthy, if he doesn't get hurt.

1:03:07 Yeah, probably.

1:03:09 Yeah.

1:03:09 You must be happy though.

1:03:10 You don't have to face the Celtics.

1:03:11 I have one more for him.

1:03:12 Is are both Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum on the Celtics game one next year.

1:03:18 I'm leaning yes.

1:03:20 Oh, only a lean though.

1:03:21 That was not a lot of confidence.

1:03:23 I don't hate the idea of Tatum and Giannis together cuz we We need more big

1:03:29 men and I think Giannis could be a great forward like we just keep our big

1:03:34 Well, I'll say this.

1:03:34 The Bucks will not get a better player than Jaylen Brown for Giannis Akokmpo.

1:03:40 Jaylen Brown's a top 10 player.

1:03:42 What about Michael Porter Jr.?

1:03:45 He can't even He can't even not laugh after he says it.

1:03:48 No, I'm I'm kidding.

1:03:49 Don't worry.

1:03:50 No, you How old is Jaylen Brown?

1:03:53 I think he's 29.

1:03:55 30 31.

1:03:56 Yeah.

1:03:56 I'm not sure if they want a 30-year-old.

1:03:57 That's the only problem.

1:03:58 I mean, they all the reports are saying that they

1:03:59 want someone that's going to help them win now.

1:04:01 And Jaylen Brown got better this year.

1:04:03 No, Jaylen Brown was awesome this year.

1:04:04 I have nothing bad to say about He turns 30 in October.

1:04:07 All right.

1:04:07 So, next year's year 30 year.

1:04:10 Yeah.

1:04:10 I mean, if you can get if you're

1:04:12 the Bucks and you can get Jaylen Brown for Giannis, how do you not do that?

1:04:15 That would be a very hard petting to pass.

1:04:17 That was like the same thing when it was clear that the Nets were

1:04:19 trading Kevin Durant and there was a rumor that Boston might offer Jaylen Brown.

1:04:23 You're like, you get offered Jaylen Brown.

1:04:25 You take it.

1:04:25 That's correct.

1:04:26 But that never ended up being an actual offer, unfortunately for my Nets.

1:04:29 And yes, I I am feeling pretty good right now.

1:04:32 Up 2.

1:04:32 I'm a little little nervous about the OG injury.

1:04:35 Hamstrings.

1:04:35 You don't want to mess around with them.

1:04:37 Let him rest.

1:04:37 Don't don't even send them on the bus to Philadelphia.

1:04:39 Just let him stay in New York.

1:04:41 Get his treatment.

1:04:43 Hopefully, you win game three.

1:04:45 You go up 3 0 and then you can not play him.

1:04:48 That'll give him almost two weeks until the Eastern Conference

1:04:50 final starts for him to rest and you're rocking and rolling.

1:04:53 Do you think there will be just as many if

1:04:56 not more Knicks fans at the game tonight than 76ers fans?

1:05:00 Yes, I think so, too.

1:05:00 I've seen some tweets from like, you know,

1:05:03 tick pick and some of these third party ticket uh whatever sellers

1:05:09 and they've given percentages of the percentage

1:05:11 of tickets that have been purchased

1:05:12 for game three from New York and New Jersey, it's been like 60%.

1:05:17 And the percentage from the Phil Pennsylvania is like 22% something like that.

1:05:21 And by the way, some of those 22% from Pennsylvania could be Nick fans, too.

1:05:25 Yeah.

1:05:25 Now, granted, some of the South Jersey tickets could be Philly fans for sure.

1:05:29 But it's it's going to be a lot of Nick fans there tonight.

1:05:32 And when the tickets are so much cheaper than they are up here, too.

1:05:34 So, if you're a Nick fan, drive there, pay for those tickets, get a hotel room.

1:05:39 I was talking to somebody that tracks us.

1:05:40 They said like $300 less for like good seats in Philly than Garden ain't cheap.

1:05:45 No, Garden is not cheap as as I can attest to.

1:05:48 That is accurate.

1:05:49 Um, but yeah, I I feel pretty good about it.

1:05:51 just get OG back.

1:05:52 Unfortunately, I don't think the Cavs are going to put

1:05:54 up a ton of resistance here against the Pistons based on what I've seen.

1:05:58 James Harden has become elimination James

1:06:01 as the old expression down in Houston goes,

1:06:03 even though it's not elimination yet,

1:06:04 he's playing like it is with more turnovers than field goal makes last night.

1:06:10 Not not what you're looking for.

1:06:11 You going to wish me luck though?

1:06:13 My final finals is on Sunday afternoon.

1:06:16 Draft lottery on Sunday now 300 p.m.

1:06:20 How you feeling?

1:06:21 Not good.

1:06:22 Yeah, I cuz we never end up getting lucky.

1:06:25 I can

1:06:25 We're talking about the draft lottery for those that could not figure that out.

1:06:28 No one understands not being lucky in the lottery fans

1:06:32 as a team that has not moved up since Patrick Euing in 1984.

1:06:36 Patrick Yuing.

1:06:37 Yeah.

1:06:37 I mean, it was you got the third.

1:06:38 You got RJ Barrett long ago.

1:06:41 Yeah, but they they moved down in that draft class to get RJ Barrett.

1:06:44 Just give me a top Give me a top three pick.

1:06:47 We had the third worst record.

1:06:48 So we have the top three odds.

1:06:50 So you're number three in the lottery odds.

1:06:52 Number three.

1:06:52 Just the top three are the same though, right?

1:06:55 Top three.

1:06:55 You all get the same.

1:06:57 Yes.

1:06:58 Yeah.

1:06:57 What do you think of the new tanking rule that they put out there?

1:07:00 I'm just glad it doesn't start this year.

1:07:03 Glad it's the next year.

1:07:04 Sure.

1:07:05 I admit I hope it's not this year.

1:07:06 I I I know the Arkansas guy is really good.

1:07:09 I have not looked at all like at who the I

1:07:10 know it's supposed to be a really good draft class,

1:07:12 but apparently it's supposed to be Oh, yeah.

1:07:13 The BYU kid.

1:07:14 I know him.

1:07:14 He's supposed to be really good.

1:07:15 There's the one of the Boozer twins.

1:07:17 Yep, that's true.

1:07:18 The the the bigger one, right, Duke Cam.

1:07:20 And then uh the the biggest question mark is the Kansas

1:07:24 guy who could be the best player, but seems like I don't know.

1:07:28 So, if you want to call it like personality issues,

1:07:30 maybe he could be the best player, the Kansas kid, huh?

1:07:33 I'm not from a talent perspective.

1:07:35 It was Peterson, I think.

1:07:36 Did Kansas not make the tournament last year?

1:07:39 I don't remember seeing them play.

1:07:41 I don't think so.

1:07:43 They did.

1:07:43 They did.

1:07:44 Did they lose in round one?

1:07:45 I don't remember seeing Kansas in the bracket when I was looking at the bracket.

1:07:47 It was a top three, maybe four players in this draft.

1:07:51 Just give me one of them.

1:07:52 So, so, so basically don't pick fifth is basically what you're telling me.

1:07:55 It's going to be the same as last year when the Nets had, you know,

1:07:57 the fifth or sixth best odds and we dropped to seventh

1:08:00 or eighth when there was a a clear tier of six or seven

1:08:05 top players and then the Nets were the first team out

1:08:07 of that tier and that's how we ended up with Eagor the Demon.

1:08:11 Yes, Pearson.

1:08:11 Kansas was a four seed.

1:08:13 They were four seed.

1:08:14 They lost to St.

1:08:15 John's, but Oh, St.

1:08:16 John's beat him.

1:08:16 That's right.

1:08:17 See, that's a bit I wasn't as locked in the tournament this year as I usually.

1:08:20 Yeah.

1:08:20 I don't I I I don't envy you though as someone that I don't know who would

1:08:24 for like 15 years.

1:08:26 The only important thing that happened like in February

1:08:31 to June for your basketball team was the draft lottery.

1:08:35 It is so stressful because you have no control and you know it's just dumb luck

1:08:41 and it it basically defines whether or not next year is going to be like useful

1:08:47 or not and I made the mistake going into last year just fully convinced the Nets

1:08:52 were going to win and get Cooper flag

1:08:54 and then literally the worst possible outcome happened.

1:08:57 So I was severely disappointed and Cooper Flag's pretty good.

1:09:00 It's pretty good.

1:09:01 Have Have you done Mavericks get the first pick?

1:09:03 Oh, don't even start with that.

1:09:05 Quit the NBA if that happens.

1:09:06 Don't even start with that.

1:09:08 Um, have you done it?

1:09:09 How many times have you done the the like lottery machine?

1:09:12 Not I have not done it once.

1:09:13 Do it right now.

1:09:14 Let's see what they think.

1:09:15 No, no, I want to see it.

1:09:15 No, no, we're doing it once.

1:09:16 You're doing You're doing What website is that?

1:09:19 Is that on?

1:09:20 Hold on.

1:09:21 We will find it.

1:09:21 But, but we're going to do it once here.

1:09:24 This will be the only time you do it.

1:09:27 Tankon.

1:09:26 Sure.

1:09:27 I'm not sure if they have I'm not sure if they let you run it.

1:09:29 Yes.

1:09:29 Sim lottery.

1:09:30 Yeah, we're doing one sim lottery.

1:09:32 Second pick.

1:09:33 Second pick.

1:09:33 All right, there we go.

1:09:34 I'll take it.

1:09:35 Who picks first in your sim?

1:09:37 And Washington three.

1:09:38 Okay.

1:09:38 Uh, give me that.

1:09:39 Dallas.

1:09:39 Oh, Dallas the fourth pick though.

1:09:42 We'll pass on that.

1:09:43 All right.

1:09:44 So, Sid, have a good weekend.

1:09:45 Good luck in the lottery.
