4:31 let's start from the beginning.

4:37 but um my guy Sedra Twill my partner he

4:40 uh introduced me to FL Studios and from

4:43 there I started learning how to make

4:45 beats and then um that around when I

4:47 like 14 15 years old really it was

4:50 younger that by 13.

4:51 Yeah about 13 14.

4:53 And then I started recording on um sound

4:58 recorder.

4:58 My cousin uh Nate, God bless

5:00 his soul, and my cousin Black, you know

5:03 They showed me how to

5:05 record on sound recorder.

5:06 So when I started sound recorder, I started

5:09 learning how to like Bbop on the table

5:11 and stuff.

5:12 So I started making my own

5:13 instrumentals by hands and you know with

5:16 the M.

5:17 And then uh round about

5:20 about a year later [clears throat] my

5:22 mom bought me a keyboard and then like

5:24 the following week she bought me

5:26 cakewalk.

5:26 That was my actual like

5:27 official DAW

5:29 boy.

5:31 Cakewalk was awesome back

5:33 Boy, it was something else wasn't it?

5:54 player and stuff like that and uh I kept

5:57 going on with it I dropped a whole bunch

6:03 u and then uh I got jammed up you know

6:07 in the streets and whatever and They

6:08 forced me to go to the army.

6:10 So when I went to the army, that's when I found

6:12 God for real.

6:13 And then ever since then,

6:15 July uh July 2011,

6:18 I've been doing Christian rap ever

6:19 since.

6:20 Shout out to my brother there.

6:22 You know what I'm saying?

6:23 He my armor brother.

6:24 He he told he seen it in.

6:26 He like, "Look, man, I heard you rap."

6:28 He like, "Have you ever heard of Lra?" I

6:30 was like, "Yeah, I heard heard." No.

6:32 I said, "No, I I ain't even know Christian

6:34 can rap." You know what I'm saying?

6:35 cuz you know coming from the south all we

6:37 know was praising the gospel music you

6:40 know

6:41 when I heard it was one Sunday he came

6:44 to me he be like look man something he

6:47 say something on you he like look just

6:48 come to church with me on Sunday

6:50 by that time I really wasn't even

6:52 thinking about God I had just lost my

6:54 grandmama you know what I'm saying old

6:56 so I kind of know had that rebellious

6:58 spirit because that's the person that

6:59 raised me feel what I'm saying but

7:02 I lie you not man that son that went

7:04 with him Bro, something hit me so hard.

7:07 The Lord hit the Holy Spirit hit me so

7:10 I just fell up and went limp.

7:41 rocking with God, man, through the ups

7:42 and downs, through all the trials I've

7:44 been through.

7:45 And it got me to this

7:46 point to where I'm at now by I say early

7:48 staying faithful and true to his word.

7:50 He actually elevate me now to higher

7:52 heights, you know?

7:53 So I'm I'm forever

7:54 grateful for that.

11:45 a lot of people want to explain this

11:48 It's really more crazier in this genre of music than it

11:53 is in the actual secular world.

11:55 And and because of that, and I say that

11:57 to say this, it's like everything's a

11:59 competition.

12:00 And for me, it's more on the lines of

12:02 for me personally, we need to be doing

12:04 this the righteous way instead of

12:06 looking at each other like competition.

12:07 Everybody's style is different.

12:09 everybody the way they do things are

12:11 different.

12:12 Um the honesty has to be

12:14 there cuz we have to be holy and meek.

12:16 But it's a lot of these artists that

12:18 still in that mind frame like it's a

12:21 competition and some may say it but I

12:27 know coming over to Christian rap world

12:30 I would think it'll be a little more

12:33 togetherness.

13:14 And you got to have that honor and integrity

13:21 together more

13:23 than versus trying to sit and look at

13:24 each other like competition.
