0:03 Check it out.

0:04 The Joe Rogan Experience.

0:06 TRAIN BY DAY.

0:06 JOE ROGAN PODCAST BY NIGHT.

0:09 All day.

0:12 Hello, boys.

0:13 Good to see you.

0:15 We're back in action.

0:16 [laughter]

0:16 We're back.

0:18 WE'RE BACK.

0:20 WE were just talking and I told to get [laughter] off.

0:23 I told Ro, save this for the air cuz Ro years ago.

0:27 __] this had to be like at least 10 years ago.

0:29 20 years ago,

0:30 that was like 2006, 2007.

0:33 Crazy.

0:33 So 20 years ago, Ro calls me up and he says, "Tommy Lee wants to meet you.

0:37 He wants to talk to you about something." I go,

0:38 "Okay, sure." So we go to see his concert.

0:40 That was when he was at Rock and Roll Supernov.

0:43 That's right.

0:44 So you had a TV show in Long Beach, right?

0:46 Right.

0:46 It was You and Eddie came.

0:48 Me and Eddie Bravo came.

0:49 And then uh afterwards, first of all, Tommy Lee has the dopest green room.

0:54 Like he sets his green room up like a[ __] after hours party.

0:57 He's got like tapestries on the wall and candles and lights.

1:01 Yeah.

1:01 You walk in like damn.

1:03 Like he doesn't.

1:04 Yeah.

1:05 He doesn't just walk into a cold green room like I'm lazy.

1:08 If I go on the road, I just what what's your green room?

1:11 I'll go hang out in there.

1:12 It's like it doesn't just walk.

1:13 But he has it set up like everywhere is like calm and relaxing and spiritual.

1:18 And uh so I meet Tommy and Tommy wants a fight kid rock in the UFC.

1:22 [laughter]

1:24 THIS IS THIS is true.

1:26 What makes people think they can do this?

1:28 It's for Pam Anderson's heart.

1:30 Yeah.

1:30 This is how this is kind of how it started.

1:33 That was that way with Pam.

1:36 Yeah.

1:35 Like you know they both were married to her.

1:37 So [clears throat]

1:40 Tommy and her always going to be connected because of the kids.

1:43 So, she had split up with Kid Rock

1:46 and Kid Rock was emailing her, texting her, I guess,

1:48 you know, still trying to get with her.

1:50 Tommy is with her, not together, but you know, they were together that day.

1:55 And he she asked him, you know, you're friends with him.

1:59 Can you call him and tell him to stop calling me and[ __] And Tommy's like,

2:03 I don't want to get in the middle of that[ __] boy.

2:06 And she's like, you know, if you know, please.

2:08 So he winds up hitting, you know, him up and like, "Look, dude, you know,

2:12 I don't really want to make this call, blah,

2:13 blah, blah." Of course, Kid Rock took the heat.

2:16 __] you.

2:17 You know, blah blah.

2:17 So they're[ __] each other back and forth.

2:20 Goes away.

2:22 [clears throat] Now, there was some MTV Awards thing,

2:27 okay?

2:27 And uh actually, let me back up first.

2:29 We were in Vegas for a New Year's thing and there was this rumor that Kid

2:33 Rock was supposed to come with his bodyguard

2:36 and like and come to Tommy's room and attack.

2:40 So me, my man Kimmo, who you know as well, um you know,

2:44 we're sleeping in Tommy's room hoping they show up

2:46 and uh of course they go to a different room.

2:50 They do go to a room, kick a door in.

2:52 I think totally they actually went looking for him for real.

2:56 I don't think they went looking for him.

2:57 I think it was a big publicity[ __] they

3:00 sign some autographs and and they keep it moving.

3:03 So I'm saying to Tommy, I go, "Yo, dude." I go,

3:07 "Fuck him." I go, "You should fight him on pay-per-view.

3:10 Imagine all the money [laughter] that we make." I go,

3:12 "I'll fight his[ __] security guy.

3:14 Like, we'll[ __] make a whole thing of it." He goes, "Man, that's brilliant."

3:18 Oh my god.

3:18 So I go, "Uh, I go, you know,

3:20 I'm telling you." I said, "You should do." I said, "Look,

3:23 either you fight him and you beat him up or he

3:27 punks out and you win either way." And he's like,

3:30 he's like, "Yeah, yeah, I like this." So, he talks to his management.

3:33 Of course, it just goes by the wayside.

3:36 Well, they're having some MTV awards[ __]

3:39 Security's not allowed on the floor there.

3:41 They had their own like c, you know, it was in a casino.

3:44 They have security for it.

3:46 While he's sitting in there with Pam,

3:49 Kid Rock like comes up kind of behind him and pokes him and Tommy

3:52 sees him and he goes to stand up and Kid Rock suckers him there.

3:56 He hit him.

3:56 Yeah.

3:57 What?

3:57 And I'm home.

3:58 My phone is getting blown the[ __] up.

4:00 Like, what happened with Tommy?

4:01 What happened with Tommy?

4:02 I'm like, I don't[ __] know.

4:03 Like, I'm not with him right now.

4:05 And uh I get a call, I swear, like 30 minutes later, and it's Tommy.

4:10 And he's going, "Fuck him." He goes,

4:12 "I'm done with that[ __] I want to fight him.

4:15 I'm gonna[ __] fight him now.

4:16 I go, he goes, I want you to train me.

4:18 I go, he goes, I'm going to move you out.

4:20 I go, no, [laughter] you're moving to me.

4:22 I go, we're not going to be out here with all your little[ __] ass kissers.

4:27 I said, if you're going to do it, you're really going to do it.

4:29 Was he working out at all at the time?

4:30 No.

4:31 So, um, you know, the only working out he does is on the drums,

4:34 which he does murder.

4:35 So, um,

4:36 that is a little bit of arm condition.

4:37 [laughter] That's like a little punchy back.

4:40 And I can show you a picture of him with a choke on me and it's legit like

4:44 he he did train with Hian and he I

4:46 told you guys he trained some with Billy Blank.

4:48 So [laughter]

4:52 Billy Blank was I've talked about this on the podcast.

4:54 He was a bad motherucker.

4:57 He was a one of those like Raymond Daniels

4:59 type karate point fighting character in the early days.

5:02 He's a guy.

5:03 He's [clears throat] a typo guy.

5:04 But we'll get to that later.

5:06 We'll get to that.

5:07 Props to Billy Blanks.

5:08 I bring him in and uh and I he I told him I said,

5:11 "Look, we're when we're going to uh Long Beach." I said, "I know Rogan.

5:15 I can have him come in and you can

5:16 tell him your idea." [laughter] And he and he goes,

5:18 "All right, all right." So, I bring Joe and Eddie, they meet him.

5:21 You he tells Joe he wants to fight him literally.

5:24 And Tommy said his uh sanctuary was his management company at the time.

5:31 I don't know if he still is or not.

5:32 So, they call Kid Rock's people supposedly and offer

5:37 this[ __] fight on pay-per-view and Kid Rock's

5:41 people wound up calling back and basically turning it

5:43 down saying whoever loses is ruined for, you know,

5:47 for life, I guess, cuz looking like a[ __]

5:49 cuz they both had the rock and roll tough guy, you know, image thing.

5:54 So, uh, so he said that did he say that in print?

5:57 That's literally how it how it stopped.

5:59 Was that in print?

6:00 Whoever whoever [clears throat] loses this is ruined or was that correct?

6:02 No, no, no.

6:03 That was the [laughter] that was the that was that was

6:06 supposedly the response from Kid [clears

6:08 throat] Rock's management to Tommy's management.

6:10 That is correct.

6:11 He would be correct, you know.

6:12 Yeah, but if it's a good fight like a Stefan Bonn and Forest G.

6:17 Oh my god.

6:18 Well, that would be different.

6:19 Then they both revolutionary that I kind of forget who won that fight.

6:23 Stephan Bonner, Forest Griest won that fight.

6:25 I know Forest won, but I kind of forget because the fight was so good.

6:29 It was that was one of the most toss up fights of all time.

6:32 Like who[ __] knows?

6:34 Dana did the right thing.

6:35 He contracted both.

6:36 We actually talked about it in the octagon right before he did it.

6:39 Wow.

6:39 Did you really?

6:40 Yeah.

6:40 Like you should give both these[ __] a bonus.

6:43 He's like [clears throat] we're going to do that.

6:44 I'm like[ __] yeah.

6:45 It was amazing.

6:46 Do you think uh if it wasn't for the Ultimate Fighter it would have died out?

6:50 Who knows, man?

6:51 But it was like lightning in a bottle

6:53 because there was another good fight before that.

6:55 Diego Sanchez[ __] Kenny Florian up, man.

6:57 It was that was a oneway beating, [laughter]

7:01 but that was Diego Sanchez coming up.

7:03 Like people got to see Diego fight too many fights.

7:05 They got to see the later fights.

7:07 They forgot what a monster Diego was in his prime.

7:10 He was audio animal.

7:12 Question his grappling.

7:13 I mean, Marcelo got him, but you know,

7:15 he he hung with one of the best of all time.

7:18 JustinC.

7:19 Yeah.

7:19 Is he was a[ __] Listen, man.

7:23 You can only get hit so many times.

7:25 Agreed.

7:25 And he was at halfway gone before taking.

7:28 Well, he was always like this open-minded weird thinker.

7:31 Remember he had that guy that was training him that you had a little bit of a

7:35 What about that loser?

7:37 Joshua Fabia.

7:38 Yeah, don't mention his name.

7:39 [laughter] That guy was demented, man.

7:43 Well, he had Diego hanging upside down like Yeah, the video's insane.

7:49 The video is insane.

7:50 But Diego was like super super open-minded.

7:53 like he was willing to believe in magic.

7:56 He was, you know what I'm saying?

7:57 Like he believed in himself so much that Diego was like and he was

8:00 also like doing weird stuff like he would chew meat and and spit it out.

8:05 He would just chew it down like get all

8:07 the juices from it and then spit whatever was left out.

8:10 He wouldn't swallow the meat.

8:11 But he was fun to watch.

8:12 He'd come out[ __] animal.

8:16 He was a[ __] animal.

8:17 Steve Maxwell trained him for uh the fight

8:21 with BJ Penn and got him in insane shape.

8:24 But unfortunately, that was the fight where BJ started.

8:27 That was when BJ was training with the Marinoviches.

8:29 He was leaping out of pools.

8:31 BJ was unstoppable back then.

8:33 There was there was a time where I always say, watch BJ in his prime.

8:36 [clears throat] I'll put that dude up against anybody.

8:38 BJ Prime.

8:39 There's no doubt.

8:39 I always say he's the best for 55 of all time.

8:42 He was like in that in that window, right?

8:44 in that window when he beat Matt Hughes prime.

8:47 Yeah, he was a human Wolverine.

8:50 Yeah, but you did a lot better with him than I did.

8:53 [laughter] I thought he did.

8:55 You had a championship caliber jiu-jitsu, you know what I mean?

8:59 And a guy like him relies on jiu-jitsu a lot,

9:03 you know, and but BJ was just the I was there's two fights,

9:07 the Kenny for not I'm sorry, Sean Sher flight.

9:10 The Shawn Sharp fight was prime BJ.

9:13 Prime BJ.

9:14 And then what about that's another one too.

9:18 But Diego was like more highly ranked [clears throat] than Joe.

9:22 Yeah.

9:22 Rick Cow Uno.

9:23 I mean, he was a beast.

9:24 Matt, look what he did to Matt Hughes when he took the title.

9:26 Yeah, he was a beast.

9:27 Matt Hughes was just like, you're coming up to my weight class.

9:30 You [laughter] know, that type of thing.

9:32 He was a Wolverine.

9:33 That dude would fight people at 200.

9:35 He fought Leota Machita 200 lb.

9:37 That's crazy.

9:38 He was a Wolverine.

9:39 He did good for about that __] animal and did real good.

9:42 Scary on the feet.

9:45 Yeah.

9:44 A natural 55 who fought as low as 45.

9:47 Remember he went down to 45 a while.

9:50 Bro, BJ was a monster in his prime.

9:52 He was wellrounded too before guys were super well-rounded.

9:56 Like he threw hands well.

9:57 And if he just had the will to go through those Marinovich camps every fight,

10:03 he would have been unstoppable.

10:05 Yeah.

10:05 He just BJ would, you know, he would just lose his focus a little bit.

10:08 I watched a YouTube documentary about like

10:10 the rise and trajectory and then the later years.

10:13 It was really well done, but it was all just talking about how there's

10:17 this prime BJ and that's when he was training

10:19 with the Marinoviches and incredible conditioning and he could

10:22 just go fight and not worry about his conditioning.

10:25 Do you think he it wasn't laziness, right?

10:28 What What do you think it was?

10:29 A lot of friends, a lot of party.

10:30 He's the king of the island.

10:32 He's basically the king of Hawaii.

10:34 PJ Ben was the king.

10:36 Everywhere he would go, people were like,

10:37 "It's PJ." I mean, he was a king in Vegas, man.

10:40 He in in those prime years when he was the champ, he was a huge star.

10:44 So, I'm sure he's a huge star in Hilo.

10:46 He's probably hanging out with the boys all the time, having a good time.

10:49 Plus, his family like had influence there, right?

10:51 They had like money.

10:53 He didn't come from poverty.

10:54 But, it's just like that it just was real hard to maintain those kind of camps.

10:59 Those camps are insane.

11:00 He was also super super talented.

11:02 And so it's like he didn't have to work

11:04 as hard to still beat up people like in practice.

11:07 It definitely came easy.

11:08 His flexibility and leg dexterity.

11:10 Oh my goodness.

11:12 I remember when I fought him and we were doing a rules meeting.

11:14 This is the time where like we could

11:16 ask questions like they did everybody in the rules

11:18 meeting and I'm in the rules meeting and Frank

11:20 Shamrock was in his corner and Frank's like,

11:24 "Are we allowed to in guard kick him in the head from I'm

11:27 like what the how the hell?" like he was talking about his flexibility

11:30 just wrapping around the back of my head and kicking me in the head

11:34 from there and I was like what the hell is this guy insane, right?

11:37 I was like, how the hell is he going

11:38 to be able to kick me in the head from there?

11:40 But apparently BJ had that flexibility to be able to do that behind his head.

11:45 He could do double lotus without using his hands.

11:48 So like sit back and just[ __] completely cotus.

11:53 Yeah, like interlocked with no hands.

11:56 That's insane.

11:57 nuts.

11:58 His flexibility is bananas.

11:59 And he worked on it.

12:00 It wasn't just like a natural gift.

12:02 But how smart was he to figure out if you

12:04 could use your legs like you could use your arms, they're so much[ __] stronger,

12:08 right?

12:08 Yeah.

12:09 Yeah.

12:09 Yeah.

12:10 Yeah.

12:10 Look at this.

12:10 There he is.

12:11 That's nuts, man.

12:12 You know what I'm saying?

12:14 He could put his own [laughter][ __] leg behind his head with no hands.

12:18 That's crazy flexibility.

12:19 [clears throat] I'd say he was going to kick you while you were north south.

12:23 Yeah.

12:24 [laughter] He going to do that.

12:26 That is nuts.

12:27 But if is that legal?

12:28 No.

12:29 There's a lot of goofy rules, right?

12:30 Like that's there's a I don't think it would be

12:33 cool to stomp people in the head and soccer kick them.

12:36 But at least knees to the head should be okay.

12:40 I agree with that because if you're shooting on a single

12:43 and you're holding on to it and your head's right there,

12:46 that's a stupid place to be in real life, right?

12:49 Let's just real life a real fight.

12:51 Why wouldn't the guy kne you in the head?

12:52 You're grabbing his knee.

12:54 If he's you're you're all right here, all he has to do is knee you in the face

12:57 and he can't do it because you're on your knees.

13:00 And let's be fair, like a knee when somebody's on their feet is worse than that.

13:05 Yes.

13:05 You know what I'm saying?

13:05 Like that's not way more behind it.

13:07 Yeah.

13:07 That's not as like if if if you're on the floor, I kne you in the head,

13:10 that's still not as bad as if me just kneing you right in the face with on Yeah.

13:15 Well, especially if you're the Michael Venom Paige fight, the cyborg cyborg.

13:22 Yes.

13:23 If you ever want to know like what's the most destructive strike in MMA?

13:27 Yeah.

13:27 The most amount of power you can generate has got to be a knee.

13:30 A flying knee while guy's coming in when the guy's like shooting in on you.

13:33 The only thing I'm I'm not a fan of is the

13:36 the kick the jab.

13:37 __] the kick to the knee.

13:38 Oh,

13:39 I'm not a fan of that kick.

13:40 Yeah.

13:41 Like you saw what happens if if you hit it right when Khalil did it.

13:45 He did.

13:47 Yeah.

13:47 Modest.

13:48 Like my my opinion there is it's just something that if you hit it right,

13:52 it's it's an injury coming and and not a good one.

13:55 You can't tap.

13:56 It's not like a knee bar or something.

13:58 So I kind of think if you can't kick

13:59 a guy in the side of the knee for that reason, why should you be able to[ __]

14:04 If you can kick in the knees, you should be able to kick in the nuts.

14:06 Yeah, [laughter] I'm going to be real.

14:09 I I need What are we doing here?

14:11 What are we doing here?

14:12 We're pretending.

14:12 Like wear a cup and I can kick you in the nuts.

14:15 There's some good cups out there.

14:16 Always get a steel one.

14:17 It's crazy.

14:18 Like why why do we have some weird rules like that?

14:20 Yeah, it's crazy because like every time somebody

14:22 gets kicked in the nuts, you say it.

14:24 You always say it.

14:24 Why don't you get a steel cup?

14:26 The fact that no one has a steel cup to me

14:29 after all this time is unbelievable.

14:31 Code and it's ultimate cheap code in in gu

14:33 in grappling to somebody on [laughter] remember air ranardi.

14:40 Yeah.

14:40 Yeah.

14:41 That's a long time ago.

14:42 Yeah.

14:42 A long time ago.

14:43 trained with him at uh Legends and he mounted me and he put

14:46 his cup in my solar plexus like I was ready to tap from his dick.

14:52 [laughter] All right, imagine imagine my two 265 doing that.

14:57 You know what I mean?

14:58 And I always wore when I trained, you know,

15:02 as a lever for an arm bar like a knee bar or anything.

15:06 How you going to slide your elbow past that?

15:08 You know, it's a weird[ __] look when the guys

15:09 wear the whole spandex and they have that steel cup.

15:12 So, they got like a [laughter] big[ __] dick in their Shy Carter cup.

15:16 Yeah, it's[ __]

15:17 That's a Yel Romero.

15:18 You remember?

15:18 Yeah, right.

15:19 Remember that Shonyy Carter?

15:20 I think Eddie[ __] talked about it for the entire fight.

15:23 It was a King of the Cage fight and Shy was fighting and he had

15:26 a giant cup on [laughter] and I swear

15:28 Eddie just commentated about the size of the cup.

15:31 It was hilarious.

15:32 [laughter]

15:32 Bro, in the taekwond do days they had ones you'd put on over your pants.

15:36 So you put you'd have your ghee pants on and then you'd

15:38 put these ones on over it and it had like this big strap.

15:42 It go right up to your taint like right literally to your[ __]

15:46 and then go all the way up like this and you would strap it in.

15:49 But it was way better.

15:50 It was way better cuz you had a boxing cup.

15:52 No, it was a taco.

15:53 It was just for taekwondo.

15:54 It was just literally designed to wear outside of And that's

15:57 when I realized like oh you can never wear regular cups.

16:00 Like regular cups move too much.

16:01 It's just sitting there and sometimes your nut gets caught

16:05 between the cup and your leg when you get hit there.

16:08 It's way worse.

16:09 And I think maybe the UFC should make that mandatory.

16:13 100%.

16:13 If you have to wear a mouthpiece, why don't you wear compression shorts?

16:16 Wear those like the diamond MMA ones.

16:19 That's a cup I have.

16:20 I like legit.

16:21 Legit.

16:21 And if you don't want to wear steel, that's fine.

16:23 You don't want to have dental floss up your[ __] [laughter] on.

16:28 It's uncomfortable.

16:28 But that's I would think if I was advising someone,

16:31 I'd say get a[ __] steel cup before they outlaw it

16:35 cuz they should have a long time ago.

16:37 You should have to wear that though.

16:39 I mean, it would it would eliminate all the nut shots.

16:41 If you're smart, you would wear a steel cup 100%.

16:44 Somebody kicks you in the nuts, it'll hurt them more than hurts you.

16:48 Like, it protects you from everything.

16:50 It's uncomfortable.

16:51 That's all it is.

16:52 Just uncomfortable.

16:53 So,

16:53 I mean, so is fighting.

16:55 Yeah.

16:55 Yeah.

16:55 So is fighting.

16:56 So is getting kicked in the nuts.

16:57 Yeah.

16:58 Dude, I can't believe it's legal.

17:00 I really I It's like one of the How do you have steel in there?

17:04 But I don't think anybody has a bunch of guys do.

17:07 DC wore it every fight he had.

17:09 Oh[ __] dude.

17:11 It's You imagine a guy diving on a double and you [snorts] hip into him, man.

17:17 You're slamming his face with your dick.

17:19 Your dick [laughter] is in metal.

17:22 Your dick's covered in metal.

17:23 And that's legal.

17:24 You have to have pads on your knuckles.

17:26 Right.

17:26 You have to have pads on your knuckles and you got an armor plate over your[ __]

17:31 Yeah, I would I would definitely wear that if I was fighting.

17:34 Yeah, [laughter] I'm selling them.

17:35 Why not?

17:36 I'm just selling them on my website

17:40 because it's like there's no way that should be legal.

17:44 Yeah.

17:43 Like how is that legal?

17:45 I don't know.

17:45 I

17:46 It's[ __] metal.

17:48 You're bringing metal into the equation.

17:50 A foot can hit metal.

17:51 A knee can hit.

17:52 You can do that and no and the fact that no one does it.

17:55 It's not well a few guys do it.

17:56 We were talking about different guys who done it

17:58 that that are currently doing it and I know DC did

18:01 it but there's a few guys who still do it

18:02 and we were talking about it on one of the broadcasts.

18:05 I don't remember which guys he was pointing out but there's

18:07 a few guys Kenny Florian always wore a steel cup

18:10 but the fact that not everyone for sure%

18:17 dang it's[ __]

18:18 you here when Degrad starts talking Thai.

18:21 No he speaks fluent Thai.

18:23 Does he really?

18:24 He's got that he's like a guinea from from east from Boston.

18:28 When when he talks he can talk to Thai people, it freaks them out.

18:33 Really?

18:32 Oh yeah, man.

18:33 He spent a lot of time in Thailand.

19:48 I go to Boston to stay with him.

19:50 I love that.

19:50 Yeah.

19:51 And his His wife always cooks for me.

19:52 What a bunch of people.

19:54 He's a maniac.

19:56 On the Ultimate Fighter 4, we didn't have assigned coaches and he would

19:59 just work with us like anytime we needed him.

20:01 Yeah.

20:02 You know what I mean?

20:02 He was great and he would let us tackle them

20:04 and[ __] mount them and[ __] you know what I mean?

20:07 As well.

20:08 Yeah.

20:09 He's great, Mark.

20:09 He's a good He's a really good coach, too.

20:12 You know who who was really impressive working with him was Kevin James.

20:16 You know Kevin James, you know, you think of him as the king of queens.

20:19 He worked with Mark a lot and Kevin's been my friend

20:21 for years and I but I really hadn't seen him hit paths.

20:24 I saw him hit hit paths with Delegrad.

20:26 I was like what the[ __] dude.

20:28 I'm like that's good.

20:29 Like this looks good.

20:31 Marco make you look good.

20:32 Marco make a good[ __] coach man.

20:34 He's a really solid coach.

20:36 Gave Longo a black eye.

20:37 [laughter] He sparred one time with Longo.

20:40 Uh Kevin J.

20:41 was walking around like[ __] Petey from the Little Ras.

20:43 [laughter] That's awesome.

20:44 He's a He's a deceptively fast dude.

20:47 Yeah, he's athletic, you know, for big dude.

20:49 When I first met him, he was jacked.

20:51 Like he was like he wasn't as big as he got at one point in time,

20:54 but he's always kind of seesawed back and forth, but he was a karate guy.

20:58 He was always doing karate when he was younger.

21:00 Yeah, he's super athletic.

21:01 There he is.

21:02 It doesn't look as good there.

21:05 [laughter]

21:06 I think that's when he was just getting into it, honestly.

21:09 But he had he was he had Delgate staying

21:11 with him a while and Delicate was training him.

21:14 Yeah, I saw him in Kill Cliff just like blending

21:16 in with the guys like he wasn't like standing out.

21:18 He was just at Killcliffe training.

21:20 Yeah, blending in with the guys.

21:22 He's a great guy.

21:23 I've known him forever.

21:24 I just seen him in either Becky or the Wrath of Becky.

21:28 Oh yeah, that's not a bad show.

21:31 He plays a psycho

21:32 and the girl in it is great.

21:34 It's like the girl is like a little psycho girl.

21:36 That's a fun movie.

21:37 It's fun.

21:38 really fun.

21:38 I think it's the first one called Becky and he plays a villain.

21:41 He plays uh

21:43 um the other guy that did it was Joel McCale.

21:46 Joel Male played the the second psycho in one of the other movies.

21:49 I forget was either the first or the second one.

21:51 I think he's in the second one, The Wrath of Becky.

21:53 Kevin was awesome.

21:54 These are good.

21:54 These are good movies.

21:56 Kevin played a good psycho.

21:57 Hey, did you ever see the the Night of the Seven Kingdoms?

22:01 No, I haven't seen that yet.

22:02 I'm telling you.

22:03 I'm going to watch it though because I'm in the middle of finishing

22:06 the first season of game the first year the first all Game of Thrones.

22:10 What?

22:10 You're doing it over?

22:11 Yeah.

22:11 Yeah.

22:11 Yeah.

22:12 Oh, you've seen it already?

22:13 But I haven't seen it since like 2015 or 11.

22:16 It's[ __] amazing.

22:17 I forgot so much.

22:19 It's[ __] awesome.

22:20 This you don't even have to watch any of the Game of Thrones cuz

22:23 this takes place 90 years before the first events of the Game of Thrones.

22:27 Sir Duncan the Tall and it is so good.

22:31 So well done and it's based on the novel I'm a[ __] nerd.

22:35 I I read the graphic novel of it by uh George RR Martin.

22:40 Yeah.

22:40 Yeah.

22:40 And I read it back in the day and it was it's so great

22:44 and you know how they have like trial um by combat.

22:48 Yeah.

22:48 In this one, not to give everything away,

22:49 but he this guy gets into it and he has to do a trial by seven.

22:52 So it's seven on seven nights.

22:54 Y

22:55 and it's like one of those thing.

22:56 He's a hedge knight.

22:56 It's it's[ __] really good.

22:59 What I like about it is Did you ever watch the House of the Dragon?

23:03 Yes.

23:03 It's a lot of cool[ __] but there's no one to root for.

23:06 They're a bunch of pricks.

23:08 Who's one's worse than the other?

23:10 I mean, back in in Game of Thrones, Jon Snow, we had,

23:13 you know, um Ned Stark doing even some guys that are,

23:17 you know, even just great characters and some guys

23:19 that are on like the Hound who's do like the anti-hero.

23:22 But with this one, it's just a[ __]

23:25 good solid dude trying to do the right thing.

23:29 Y

23:29 and uh and he and by trying to do the right thing,

23:32 he gets into, you know,

23:33 into some trouble and it's just it gives you like it's like

23:38 like being righteous and have like real heroics like you know what I mean?

23:41 Like some[ __] that that's missing nowadays because it's all about getting

23:44 a[ __] message in there or making[ __] diverse which I love though.

23:50 [laughter] Stop.

23:49 You know what's really funny about that?

23:53 Game of Thrones.

23:55 Game of Thrones was like a feminist series if you if you really think about it.

24:01 I mean, really was but but without any fanfare.

24:05 Like no bringing it up.

24:06 No one paid attention to it.

24:08 But the baddest people on that show were the women.

24:11 Cersei Lannister was the baddest[ __] in the world.

24:13 Ara Stark[ __] killed everybody.

24:16 Santa kept it together through all that[ __] Brianna of Tar[ __] everybody up,

24:21 including the hounds.

24:23 The most feminist.

24:25 Yes.

24:25 And you got Daenerys, the queen of dragons, who's the baddest[ __] on earth.

24:30 You literally can't burn her.

24:31 And she's got three dragons.

24:34 It's a feminist series.

24:35 [laughter] I didn't even realize it.

24:37 It is.

24:37 It's a completely feminist series, but without

24:40 It never even crosses.

24:41 Doesn't cross your mind cuz it's so good.

24:42 You don't care.

24:43 It's not It's not like dumb.

24:45 It's You have to watch that Dean.

24:47 No, I Yeah.

24:48 And House of Dragons is the same way, right?

24:50 Like there's some of these like Star Wars

24:52 movies where it's all women generals and you're like,

24:54 "Shut the [laughter][ __] up.

24:58 Shut the[ __] up."

25:00 And all the men are scared of them and they all like get out of the room.

25:02 Like this is fiction, right?

25:04 This is nonsense.

25:06 Even though that's obviously fiction, [clears throat] too.

25:08 It's way better.

25:10 A lady that has dragons, the hottest[ __] around, she's got dragons.

25:14 She she[ __] a bunch of killers.

25:16 She brings them into her bed.

25:18 Well, because they do a good job of making [laughter] barbarians.

25:20 Well, they do such a good job of making them flawed that you

25:24 don't even realize that they are the baddest[ __] in the world,

25:28 but they're so but they're flawed in a way where it's like it makes them human.

25:32 Yeah.

25:33 Yeah.

25:32 I mean, look at Cersei Lannister.

25:34 All of her kids gone.

25:35 That[ __] survives.

25:36 She's got a giant demon that watches over her, right?

25:39 Like she's in love with her brother.

25:41 She[ __] her brother and [laughter] her brother.

25:43 Remember when she had the Well,

25:44 I don't spoiler alert when she had that uh the the priest

25:48 that tortured her while she was in the cell when they finally got her.

25:51 Yeah.

25:51 And she's like, "I'm ready to meet my maker." She's like,

25:53 "Oh, you're not going to die today." And then the [laughter][ __]

26:04 Oh my god.

26:04 [laughter]

26:05 Oh, dude.

26:06 That was such a horrifying scene.

26:08 It was such a great show, though.

26:10 Is there a better like world universe than that?

26:13 No one was safe on that show.

26:15 You never knew the the biggest character could

26:18 just get[ __] merked at like the next episode.

26:21 Pedro Pascal that played that was his character

26:25 when he got killed by Prince Ador.

26:28 First of all, I never thought they would kill him.

26:29 Like that guy's an important character.

26:31 He's bringing all this new life to the show and all a sudden

26:33 you see the mountain get his knuckles into that guy's eyeballs and crushes.

26:38 That was so crazy.

26:38 Holy[ __] That was like one of the most

26:40 disturbing murder scenes you've ever seen in your life.

26:43 And he was doing great.

26:44 He was taking a[ __] out of him.

26:45 He got too cocky.

26:47 Worked him over.

26:48 Thought he had him.

26:49 You raped her.

26:50 You murdered her.

26:51 You killed our children.

26:52 Some[ __] like that.

26:53 He kept repeating it.

26:54 Yeah.

26:54 And strutting around with the mountains on his back.

26:57 They are.

26:58 [cough] What a crazy show.

27:00 Such a good show.

27:01 One of the greatest shows of all time.

27:03 I'm telling you, you got to text me after you

27:05 watch The Night of the Seven Kingdoms cuz it's all out.

27:07 You could binge it.

27:08 to it as soon as we're done with this.

27:09 We're on like season seven now.

27:11 Six episodes and each each episode's like 30 minutes.

27:15 You run through it.

27:15 The House of Dragons never really dragged me in.

27:17 It did.

27:18 It was interesting.

27:19 You know, it was like I liked it, but it wasn't the same thing.

27:23 Definitely not.

27:23 This I think this the new one is in my opinion better.

27:27 I thought Oh, the C the seven kingdoms.

27:32 There's parts in it that just get you GOING LIKE[ __] YEAH.

27:34 YEAH.

27:35 YEAH.

27:35 Hell yeah.

27:35 I'm looking forward to I [clears throat] hope they lengthen it a little bit.

27:38 You know what I'm saying?

27:39 Six half hour episodes.

27:41 But I love the relationship between the kid and the whole show, right?

27:47 One thing I did love about House of Dragons when

27:49 they were trying to figure out who could ride a dragon.

27:51 Oh, that was cool.

27:51 And they brought all those people down there to test them.

27:54 [laughter]

27:56 You have to have some Targaryen blood.

27:58 And a lot of the Targaryenss[ __] a lot of regular people.

28:01 So they were searching for Targaryen blood,

28:03 just taking people out of the pub and just push them in front of the track.

28:06 That [laughter] was crazy.

28:08 She first they asked the uh one of the king's guard like you know

28:11 we tracked you back to whatever and he's like oh it's a great honor.

28:13 No, I want to do it.

28:14 Yeah, buddy.

28:15 Careful what you wish for,[ __] That scene was [laughter] herself.

28:18 That scene was nuts, dude.

28:20 The red the red wedding.

28:22 __] that was the craziest[ __] ever.

28:23 You couldn't believe it was happening while it was happening.

28:25 Like this can't cuz they were taking everybody happening.

28:28 This can't be happening.

28:29 Did you hate the ending as much as as everybody?

28:31 I did not enjoy it.

28:33 It felt to me like they had to tie it up and like nice bow.

28:37 You know, I would have been almost better if

28:39 it was like no country for old men style ending.

28:42 I think all all shows should be

28:43 like that because life continues afterwards, right?

28:46 You don't have to tie it in 12.

28:48 Yeah.

28:49 Yeah.

28:49 Yeah.

28:49 Yeah.

28:51 Yeah.

28:50 Once it got past the books, it took a hit.

28:55 Yeah.

28:54 Well, that guy's a genius.

28:55 I mean, the the world that guy created and the complexity

28:59 of all the characters like Tyrion Lannister and Tywin Lannister and

29:03 Oh my god, good.

29:06 Yeah.

29:06 Yeah, man.

29:06 I mean, that guy was so[ __] good, man.

29:09 They're already doing the the uh Sworn Sword,

29:11 which is the second book of uh Game of Thrones of uh the Dunkin Egg Tales.

29:16 Oh, nice.

29:19 Awesome.

29:18 That's that's his writing, too.

29:20 That's his Yeah, he did another one.

29:23 He did [clears throat] three books.

29:24 It was uh a night of the seven kingdoms which they just did.

29:26 They're going to do a sworn sword and then it's the mystery night.

29:30 I don't know anything but I know a lot of Game of Thrones[ __] [laughter]

29:33 Don't ask me about

29:34 Game of Thrones and Star Wars.

29:36 You're my go-to.

29:37 The world's so[ __] up.

29:38 You're way better off with that stuff in your head.

29:41 That's why I do it, man.

29:42 It's such an escape, man.

29:44 Just to sit home and watch TV.

29:45 That's all I do, man.

29:46 Sit home and watch TV.

29:47 Speaking of Star Wars, I got a a text out of nowhere from uh from George St.

29:52 Pierre.

29:52 He loves it as much as me.

29:53 Oh yeah, it was just about the new Darth Maul animated series.

29:56 Oh no, he [laughter] I swear to God.

29:59 And then he gave me back a report.

30:00 He told me he's like, "Oh, it's so far so good." This

30:03 I told you my brother My brother's like, "I know Matt's in Star Wars.

30:06 Tell him watch the new Darth Maul." You know, Jamie says,

30:09 "It's fun." I I love George.

30:11 He's He's the best.

30:13 I have the hardest time convincing people who he is.

30:16 It's hilarious.

30:16 What do you mean?

30:17 Like when people when he comes to the mothership

30:18 and people that don't know anything about MMA, they're like,

30:21 "What does your friend do?" I go,

30:22 "That is one of the [laughter] greatest fighters

30:25 that ever walked the face of the earth."

30:27 You're like, "No, for real." I go, "Yeah,

30:28 100% in everybody's list of one of the greatest of all time."

30:33 And he's like, "Hello,

30:34 nice to meet you." [laughter] He just seems so sweet and friendly.

30:37 Man, that's the problem with MMA is that like

30:39 you have to convince people about how bad somebody was.

30:42 And it wasn't that long ago.

30:43 I mean, it wasn't that long ago that George St.

30:45 Pierre was the[ __] greatest of all time.

30:47 No, it wasn't that long.

30:48 And now, but the fans are so new that you they don't get it.

30:51 They don't go back and watch it.

30:52 They had to watch like go back and watch the John Fitch fight.

30:55 Oh man, prime GSP.

30:58 Prime.

30:59 He was terrifying.

31:01 Incredible gas tank.

31:02 Great flow between grappling and striking.

31:05 You very creative.

31:06 He put that[ __] together the best.

31:08 That's why he had such success taking everybody down.

31:10 Like his he would set it up his level

31:12 change and he always he ran through every takedown.

31:15 It was never he was going to run you across the cage.

31:19 George was phenomenal.

31:20 And then I think Farasah Hobby was a big part of that too.

31:23 Farasah Hab is a bad[ __] Yeah, he's smart.

31:26 You ever watch his YouTube breakdowns of sometimes?

31:28 Yeah.

31:28 Yeah.

31:28 Yeah.

31:28 He's he's incredible.

31:30 Very astute.

31:31 He's so knowledgeable of the game of every aspect of it.

31:35 You know, his brother is doing well.

31:37 Yeah.

31:37 His brother's fighting at the White House.

31:38 He's fighting Shaun Ali and I think people are sleeping on him.

31:42 Well, listen, he keeps winning.

31:45 Yeah, he keeps[ __] winning.

31:45 the the one fight that he had that was kind of a little controversial was Aldo.

31:50 Remember Aldo almost had I don't Yeah, for sure.

31:53 I'm not sure he won that fight because I think

31:55 they're not being generous enough with the 108s in the 107s.

32:00 They don't do it enough.

32:01 Not enough.

32:01 There's When a guy just tunes you up for like a minute

32:06 and a half of the round and you almost go unconscious,

32:08 you know, like that that means a lot.

32:11 I hate the fact that they don't use it enough all because like Dana was like,

32:14 "Oh, I don't like it."

32:16 And now the judges are just like, "No, we can't do it because

32:18 listen, the scoring system sucks because we stole it from boxing.

32:22 It's not it doesn't have enough points

32:25 for sure.

32:25 It should be like a you should get

32:27 like a certain amount of points for different things,

32:30 but it would be really hard to calculate

32:32 because it would be have to be subjective.

32:34 Like if Pereira hits you, it's way harder than if someone's like, you know,

32:39 Paul Craig, like no disrespect,

32:41 but you know what I'm saying, the consequences are very different.

32:44 So if he hits you with a left hook,

32:45 it's different than if Pereira hits you with a left hook.

32:47 So that's subjective.

32:48 But in terms of like what happens in the fight,

32:51 you should be counting in submission attempts.

32:54 You should be counting in takedown attempts, like who was more aggressive,

32:57 who is more defensive, who who's implemented their STR.

33:00 You should have like a 100 points to work with.

33:03 Absolutely.

33:03 cuz he got 10 points.

33:04 Why are we only using two of them?

33:05 It's nine and a 10.

33:06 Why?

33:07 It don't make any [clears throat] sense cuz there's

33:08 10 nine rounds that are like uh could be anybody.

33:11 And there's 10 N rounds where he dominated.

33:14 That's well see like UFC BJJ uses that and it works

33:18 better for that because they're very liberal with the 108s and 107s.

33:22 They use it a lot.

33:23 They're like if it's if it's close it's a 109.

33:26 If it's one-sided it's automatically a 108.

33:29 So they use more sense.

33:31 That does make more sense.

33:32 But even in BJJ, I would say you'd need more points.

33:35 You need like it's like the difference between a 7030 round where a guy's

33:40 dominating you 70% of the time and a 5149 round is[ __] huge.

33:46 It's huge and it doesn't reflect it in the scorecards at all.

33:49 So like you could win a 109 round in the first

33:51 round where it's like you're barely ahead like maybe I'll give it

33:55 to you and then the second round that dude[ __] you

33:58 up and he gets a 109 round cuz you didn't go down.

34:02 Yeah.

34:02 But he's headkicking you and you're blocking it.

34:04 You're getting teepped.

34:06 Your legs are getting kicked all the time.

34:07 It's still a 10- nine round.

34:09 That's some That's nuts.

34:10 No,

34:10 just because you didn't go unconscious, just cuz you didn't get knocked down.

34:13 I think it's my ADD's kicking in.

34:16 But we're talking about the close calls, close scoring.

34:19 I thought Aljo

34:21 I thought he should have got that nod against[ __] I thought so too.

34:25 I thought I didn't think there was the guy got on one reversal at the end like

34:29 a minute 30 left and Aljo was winning that whole first round.

34:32 Aljo is a nightmare for a grappling expert.

34:34 He could be undefeated at 140.

34:35 He's a nightmare because if your whole thing is grappling

34:38 with people and you got to grapple with Aljo, you got problems.

34:41 That dude gets your back.

34:42 He's got he's got I mean him and 10 108 round like he was just on his back

34:47 dominated round and they don't and no how is that not a 108 round?

34:52 He's fighting Yousef uh Salon, I said.

34:55 Yeah.

34:56 Yeah.

34:56 Yousef's allowed.

34:57 And that's on the 25th of April.

34:58 But I mean, but I think, you know,

35:00 if it hits the ground, I think there's levels to this.

35:04 Yeah.

35:03 Did Did Aljo over Yan in the second fight,

35:06 was that like the best anybody's ever done with Yan?

35:09 Yeah.

35:09 No doubt.

35:11 His control is just so good when it hits the floor.

35:13 That's the difference between him and Morav.

35:14 Morav keep getting you down and up, down, up.

35:16 Aljo hits the floor.

35:18 Yeah.

35:18 You're not even He just needs back exposure.

35:21 He's one of those some guys they can't jump up on the back.

35:24 It's not good for them.

35:24 They're going to get tired, dude.

35:26 All day long he'll just go up there,

35:28 lock that[ __] on, and [laughter] if he doesn't get you, that's his round.

35:32 Like he's the Sanhagen fight was what a masterpiece.

35:36 Masterpiece.

35:37 His grappling is so so good.

35:38 Yeah, he doesn't get proper credit.

35:40 No, his back takes some of the best in the in the sport, period.

35:43 Man, they're not a big fan of his.

35:45 They don't push I I feel SUCH A [laughter] NICE GUY.

35:48 I KNOW.

35:48 He does everything right.

35:50 I think it's the one fight with the neck

35:53 that was I think that was turned everybody against him.

35:56 Those people are wrong.

35:58 But look what happened was[ __] up.

35:59 Look what happened in the seconded.

36:01 I mean he should have validated the entire

36:03 thing by whooping his ass in the second fight.

36:06 But they had already decided they hate him stuck on it.

36:08 They already he had to get his[ __] disc replaced.

36:11 It was real.

36:12 It was a real[ __] injury.

36:13 He should be he could be un he

36:15 could be a two-time champ a double division champ.

36:17 I mean, he's in my mind, he's undefeated at 145.

36:21 Look what he did to Calvin Kedar, which was Calvin Kater is a beast.

36:24 But

36:24 it was, if you didn't know Calvin Kater, if that's your first fight seeing him,

36:28 you' be like, "Oh, that guy doesn't belong here," which he obviously does.

36:30 He's a beast.

36:32 But Ala was masterful.

36:34 He know what it is.

36:34 He's good at not getting hit.

36:36 So it's like he's not giving you that back and forth cuz

36:40 and and Longo says you've seen 20% of what he could do stand up

36:44 and standing up like I'd ask him something with his He's like he

36:47 could put his foot wherever he wants it like about a kick or something.

36:50 He's he's just really really talented man.

36:53 I hope he gets his shot if he takes out uh you know uh Yousef.

36:57 I hope he they give him a shot again cuz I think he could be a two-time champ.

37:00 He Well, listen, he's still a bad[ __]

37:03 like he's [clears throat] he's a nightmare for everybody,

37:06 especially if he gets a hold of you.

37:07 But I mean, people look at the one fight losses.

37:11 They look at the Shawn Ali fight.

37:13 Like Shawn caught him perfect.

37:14 That's just how

37:15 And you know, he his head wasn't really

37:17 in that cuz he didn't even want to be there.

37:20 Nope.

37:19 Why didn't he want to be there?

37:21 He fight They made him fight that fight.

37:24 He didn't want to fight.

37:26 Yeah.

37:26 Yeah.

37:26 They they did like a whole documentary on it where it was like they they

37:29 they kind of twisted his arm to like you got to do this and they were injured.

37:34 I think he was injured.

37:35 There was a quick turnaround.

37:37 It was too quick a turnaround.

37:38 He's the champ.

37:39 He didn't feel he should be forced into,

37:41 you know, but he thought the number he thought they he thought

37:44 the pay-per-view numbers was going to make up for it.

37:46 He thought he's going to get all this money from it because he was like,

37:48 "All right, I'll do it.

37:49 Sean Ali is going to bring in the numbers." Then

37:51 he said when it was over, he saw the numbers.

37:53 He was like, "If I knew the numbers was going

37:55 to be like this, I don't think I'd have did it." Yeah.

37:58 Really?

38:00 Yeah.

37:59 So, it didn't do well.

38:01 It didn't do as well as he thought he

38:03 was going to do based on Shawn Ali's presence.

38:07 Listen, man.

38:07 It It takes a lot to get people to pay for something today.

38:11 There's too much money to steal it.

38:14 This Paramount thing is genius in that regard is

38:16 that all you have to do is have that app,

38:18 which a lot of people have already anyway.

38:21 Yeah,

38:20 that's genius.

38:21 But to make people pay every time to to watch fights,

38:24 like there's so much to watch today.

38:27 Well, that Well, that was the one thing that my people at ESPN told me.

38:30 They was like, "It's a big difference between being

38:31 popular and then having people pay to watch you fight."

38:35 Yeah.

38:35 Like you can be popular, but ain't nobody paying you paying you to fight.

38:38 So, it's a big difference.

38:39 It's a giant difference.

38:41 Yeah.

38:40 Yeah.

38:41 It's a giant difference.

38:42 I like that it's on Paramount as a fan, though.

38:45 Save save you a ton of money.

38:47 I pay I used to pay for every one of them.

38:49 This Netflix thing is nice, too.

38:51 It's good to see that there's like someone who's willing

38:53 to throw a lot of money at MMA in another large arena,

38:58 you know, like Netflix.

38:59 What do you do, guys?

39:01 Cheetah vers Ronda.

39:03 I I think round one submission Ronda.

39:08 Yeah.

39:07 Unless she wants to try to just stand up with her, which I doubt.

39:10 I hope not.

39:12 I don't know what Gan has been doing, you know.

39:15 I don't know how long she went without MMA training at all.

39:19 You know, she was recently a little heavy.

39:21 I can say that.

39:22 She'll be great now.

39:23 Does she look great now?

39:25 Look, she got in great shape.

39:26 She got in great shape.

39:27 She's still like 43 years old.

39:29 No, but the question is like what was she doing in those?

39:33 Was she still training some?

39:34 That would be my real question because if you just put it

39:37 all down and you walk away for 17 years, I got to go.

39:41 I mean, but with the with the weight loss, with the weight gain that she had,

39:45 there was no way she was training or doing anything.

39:47 That's what I'm saying.

39:48 Like, she's back in shape and she obviously is busting her ass to do that.

39:53 But how long, like you're saying, was she down

39:56 and she has to develop a a a grappling

39:59 defense to one of the best female grapplers ever.

40:02 No, Ronda's leg.

40:04 Her only hope is to keep it on the street.

40:05 Guard on her and I sweep.

40:07 She would pull guard and sweep her or arm lock her.

40:10 Her arm locks her.

40:11 Her arm locks are amazing.

40:11 Her arm locks are amazing.

40:13 They're preposterous,

40:14 you know.

40:14 I think there's too many

40:16 dude or chick.

40:16 Her arm bars.

40:17 Remember that cat zingo fight?

40:18 Cat charged at her.

40:20 Cat threw her.

40:21 That was the craziest.

40:22 Got her an arm bar like instantaneous.

40:24 Stupid strategy that was.

40:25 [laughter] Yeah, she blanked out on that one.

40:27 So crazy.

40:29 That was such a sick transition, too.

40:30 No, but I saw a video of Gina hitting pads with John

40:33 Wood that was kind of recent and it did not look good.

40:37 How recent was it doing?

40:38 I don't know.

40:39 I don't know.

40:39 But it didn't look good.

40:40 I was just like,

40:41 it's hard to tell.

40:42 I hope it's I hope this is older.

40:44 She's a big girl.

40:45 Maybe she can stop her from taking her down or something.

40:47 But also, it's also what were they doing?

40:49 Were they just working on slow motion[ __] Were they just trying

40:52 to get a movement or were they getting in a hard mitt workout?

40:54 You know what I'm saying?

40:55 I mean, either way, like just like mechanically it didn't look great

41:00 mechanically.

41:00 So, I mean, but it could have been it's like one of them things where like

41:03 this could be like her her comeback session

41:06 and she's just trying to get warmed up.

41:07 But, who knows?

41:08 I mean, you know, who knows?

41:09 Maybe she's Who knows?

41:10 You just never know.

41:11 I hope so.

41:11 Yeah.

41:12 I hope it's better than that.

41:13 Round one submission.

41:16 I mean, probably probably right.

41:17 I mean, come on.

41:18 I bet you know, if you had Poly Market, you can make some money on that, right?

41:23 [laughter]

41:22 just like there's going to be a lot of bets on that.

41:25 It's uh it's it's exciting though that that Netflix is doing it.

41:29 That's what I like.

41:30 I like that there's another place people can go.

41:33 It'll raise.

41:34 But how sustainable is this though?

41:36 That's my biggest question.

41:37 Whoever's putting the money up for this is going to lose their ass.

41:40 I think you think they're going to make that money back, right?

41:42 But here's the thing.

41:43 It's Netflix, right?

41:44 So Netflix has an insane amount of money and they keep raking it in.

41:48 Like every month people are paying whatever they're paying.

41:50 It's as high as like what 19 bucks for ad free.

41:53 What is it?

41:54 How much is a Netflix account now?

41:56 I want to say it's higher.

41:57 I think it just went up, right?

41:59 Yeah.

42:00 So going all that money is just coming in every month.

42:03 They just got to give people exciting things to want to watch

42:06 and they'll keep making more money because more people use Netflix.

42:09 Like it would seem like they're going to lose their ass, but they're not

42:12 because they have a completely different business model.

42:15 Obviously I'm not a businessman.

42:17 $8.99 to 26.99 per month.

42:19 I'm a ter I'm in fact I'm a terrible businessman.

42:22 But I would imagine you'll just make money by giving

42:25 people awesome[ __] so they keep tuning into Netflix.

42:27 So in that sense they're not going to lose any money because there's a lot

42:30 of MMA fans that probably subscribe to Netflix

42:32 just so they can watch that fight, right?

42:35 So who's on the card now?

42:37 It's like Felipe Lind versus Inanu.

42:40 Yeah.

42:40 Mike Perry versus Nate Diaz,

42:44 right?

42:43 Oh, and Robelis to Spain.

42:47 Yeah.

42:47 Yeah.

42:47 And uh Junior Dos Santos.

42:49 That one.

42:50 That one is like

42:51 Who's it?

42:52 Roella Desp.

42:53 That tall karate combat dude.

42:56 He's a taekwond do black belt from Cuba.

42:58 Wait, was Junior?

42:59 Yeah.

42:59 How old's Junior?

43:01 He's 50 [clears throat] now.

43:02 Is he 50?

43:03 No, [laughter] he's close.

43:04 But he's in good shape.

43:05 I actually did a We spoke at a high school a couple of months ago.

43:08 Yeah.

43:08 I'm glad to hear that.

43:10 I mean, at least these guys get an outlet to make some extra money.

43:13 Yeah, man.

43:13 And who doesn't Adriana Moray is a you know

43:16 that's a Mogay is probably going to school him

43:19 but I mean it's they got some they're giving

43:21 guys some opportunity so you got to like this.

43:24 Absolutely.

43:24 Yeah.

43:25 Absolutely.

43:26 It'll be a big show.

43:28 A lot of people will tune in.

43:29 Diaz and Perry's going to be[ __] bananas.

43:32 That'll be really fun to watch.

43:34 Yeah, that's I mean that'll be worth the price of admission.

43:36 Imagine if that was 10 years ago.

43:37 That fight would be

43:38 I'm looking [laughter] at this.

43:39 It's like if the GLA went to[ __] it came came true.

43:44 __] remember that grandpa [laughter] league that was not everybody.

43:47 It just stole all their talent, bro.

43:50 Diaz versus Perry.

43:51 Guaranteed dog fight.

43:53 Just a guaranteed dog fight.

43:55 That will not be Who do you think wins?

43:58 I think the jiu-jitsu is going to be too much.

44:00 I think I kind of think that too.

44:02 I kind of think Nate might just drag him deeper, right?

44:05 I think we're going to see.

44:06 You know, we're going to see.

44:07 Oh, it's five rounds.

44:08 Five rounds.

44:08 That's crazy.

44:09 Five rounds is crazy.

44:10 I wonder why they agreed on that.

44:13 Interesting.

44:13 Why do you think they agreed?

44:14 I didn't realize that.

44:15 Is the Gina fight five rounds or is it three rounds?

44:17 Three.

44:18 When they first announced it said five by five for everything,

44:21 but they've changed a bit.

44:23 So, it says five.

44:25 Yeah, just for those two though.

44:26 This one does not.

44:29 And it also says these are the main event.

44:31 I mean, I can't imagine five rounds.

44:34 Well, actually, it does.

44:34 There it does.

44:34 It says it real.

44:35 It's hard to see it.

44:36 Yeah.

44:36 5x5 professional.

44:38 Yeah.

44:38 Okay,

44:40 bro.

44:40 Loren Larkin back in the day.

44:42 I remember he fought Neil Magny.

44:44 Was hitting him with oblique kicks to the chest and I was like,

44:47 I do not think I've ever seen anybody throw it that way.

44:50 You ever see that fight?

44:51 No, I don't remember that fight.

44:53 He tuned Neil Magny up and Loren Larkin was a bad[ __] I do remember that.

44:57 Like he had he had a good little run.

44:59 He was so his striking was elite.

45:02 Yeah.

45:02 And he would he when he fought Neil Magny,

45:04 he you know Neil Magny's a tough[ __] dude, man.

45:07 Durable.

45:08 Incredible discipline and endurance.

45:10 Like that dude's never out of shape.

45:12 And he was just getting too Look at this.

45:15 I mean, he's throwing an oblique kick to the ribs.

45:18 That one there, he just hit his arm and knocked him down with it.

45:21 But earlier before that, he caught him on the rib cage with it.

45:25 Look at that.

45:25 Look at that, bro.

45:26 That's crazy.

45:27 He gave him a spot.

45:28 Damn.

45:29 That's the second look at it.

45:31 But right here, you're seeing him.

45:32 He's blasting him with this

45:34 kick that nobody throws like that.

45:37 That's a crazy position to put your hips in.

45:40 That is crazy, bro.

45:41 He's He was sharp.

45:42 How did this one end?

45:43 He stopped him.

45:45 Oh, did he?

45:46 Yeah.

45:47 Oh[ __] Yeah.

45:48 Loren was all over him, man.

45:49 It was a like one of the prime performances that I've seen of him fight.

45:56 Yeah, he had a good little run.

45:56 He had a great a great run but in during

45:58 that run and this was like he came from Bellator right.

46:01 Yeah.

46:01 Yeah.

46:01 And when he came over from Bellator it's like

46:02 he was still like red hot like red hot.

46:07 Some Yeah.

46:08 Two guys that were in Bellator which is uh Pit Ball and Aaron Pico.

46:13 They're getting ready to fight in this weekend.

46:15 How much time do you think a guy like Pico is supposed to take off after Lrone?

46:20 We we were just talking about that cuz I love his offense man.

46:23 And he's a little raging bull

46:25 animal and strong powerful.

46:27 He just got caught.

46:28 And he got caught perfect.

46:29 I mean, it was just perfect.

46:31 That spinning elbow.

46:31 I think he got stopped more than Did he get

46:33 stopped more than once with a bad knockout like that?

46:35 Yeah.

46:36 Best fight ever.

46:36 You don't want to go through your

46:38 The kid from um Kill Cliff.

46:40 Uh Adam Bur.

46:42 Adam Burks.

46:43 Yeah, he got him with a flying knee.

46:44 With a flying knee.

46:45 Yeah.

46:46 Yeah.

46:46 Damn, dude.

46:46 You don't want too many of those.

46:48 That's right.

46:48 But those put him out, man.

46:50 Like you just see him just go boop.

46:52 Yeah.

46:52 That Macy Barber won the other day.

46:54 Oh, dude, that was

46:56 one of the greatest finishes in women's MMA history.

46:58 Oh, no doubt.

46:59 I wanted to reach out to Macy cuz I felt so bad.

47:02 I wanted to reach out to the doctor and say,

47:03 "What [laughter] the[ __] are you think?" He's just over like a[ __] [laughter]

47:09 So crazy.

47:10 Yeah.

47:10 He's like I'm LIKE, "GET SOME SMELL." I'M LIKE,

47:12 "Somebody the cameraman please get off this or somebody talk to the doctor

47:17 cuz I don't know what the fuck." He was just over like, "Man, this is[ __] up.

47:22 [laughter] I don't think he knew exactly what was going on.

47:23 He probably has no experience in combat sports, right?

47:26 He didn't realize that she got knocked out

47:28 and while she was out cold, she got strangled.

47:31 She transitioned so fast.

47:33 Like, she's out there.

47:34 She's out cold already and then she gets strangled.

47:37 Like, that's never happened before.

47:39 What's crazy is she was Look at the way he kind of still reacting and then

47:43 when they put her on her back, she just it was

47:45 she went limp as she was trying to sit up.

47:48 She went limp.

47:48 You see right there?

47:49 like she was trying to get up and then

47:51 as the guy has his arm around her, she goes limp,

47:57 dude.

47:56 See, there's like there's uh sea level Kane and then there's Southpaw Alexa.

48:01 When she fights Southpaw, man, she is dangerous.

48:03 Then this confused doctor, [laughter]

48:07 right?

48:08 Never seen this before.

48:10 Hey, crazy.

48:11 Look at him.

48:11 Right.

48:11 He's like

48:12 crazy is just Well, she's kind of coming too there.

48:15 I think she's blinking.

48:16 But that was just Holy[ __]

48:18 Why?

48:18 And the speed that she took her back.

48:21 Left hand boop back choke.

48:23 Amazing.

48:24 One shot while she was out.

48:25 Still cracked her again.

48:27 Got her back and choked her all like a lightning bolt.

48:30 That was super.

48:31 But that's the same combination she hit Valentina with when she finished her.

48:34 I feel like five minutes with us sitting there.

48:36 Left hand.

48:36 Boom.

48:37 Took her back.

48:38 Took her a while.

48:39 It took her longer.

48:40 But look at this.

48:44 So she's in trouble.

48:46 Bam.

48:46 Right there.

48:46 Out cold and then strangled.

48:50 I don't think that combination of out

48:51 cold and then strangled has ever happened before.

48:54 No,

48:54 cuz I mean she seen Watch this punch here.

48:55 That's out cold, right?

48:58 And then boom.

49:00 Sick.

49:01 Now that's crazy.

49:04 Crazy.

49:07 Wow.

49:05 She's tough, man.

49:09 Fall backwards in front of you after the knockdown, you know.

49:12 Well, so here's the thing.

49:13 She gets up and when she gets up I think she faints.

49:17 Like I think she tries to get up

49:19 and then he Mike puts his arm around her and she's out.

49:24 I think she fainted.

49:25 That's just scary.

49:26 That's scary.

49:27 And she also had had some problems before with seizures.

49:32 Yeah.

49:32 She had to pull out of that fight with uh Aaron Blanchfield.

49:35 Seizure in the locker room, right?

49:36 So they allow they still allow her to fight even though she's had seizures.

49:40 That's pretty crazy.

49:41 Well, it depends on what's causing the seizures, right?

49:43 If they know it's a medication that she was on to get her off the medication.

49:46 Like, there's I don't know what causes seizures.

49:48 Well, that shit's not going to help the seizures.

49:50 But it certainly wouldn't make me enthusiastic about fighting, right?

49:54 It would have to[ __] with your motivation if you're already having seizures.

49:58 I wouldn't want to do it.

49:59 I

50:00 Now, now after that,

50:02 I wouldn't want to do it.

50:03 Anytime you fight, that's a possibility.

50:06 Y

50:06 and he I mean look at a guy who never once looked

50:10 took anything remotely like that like um Camaro man

50:13 and even in a fight where he's just doing so great and then that's the closest

50:17 thing I seen to that which is when he got stopped with that head kick.

50:22 Yeah.

50:21 And you know that's a possibility anytime you make that walk.

50:25 That's why you got that[ __] little feeling

50:27 in your you know before you walk out there.

50:31 The Camaro one was nuts too because John Anick was

50:35 just saying because DC was like a lot of people would

50:38 quit in this situation and John Anick said something along

50:41 the lines of but that is not the cloth from which

50:43 I know and then as soon I mean that was like the most perfect timing ever.

50:48 like a movie like it was if you saw that in a movie like shut up

50:52 cuz I had [laughter] just I had just came

50:53 in and was like yeah I think he's broke

50:56 and then DC was saying it and then John intervened

50:58 with he's not cut from that cloth and boom head kick.

51:02 It was nuts.

51:03 What is that new Russell Crow's doing a new MMA movie?

51:06 Is that Is that going to be Is that supposed to be the UFC?

51:10 No, I think 1FC.

51:10 Yeah.

51:12 They did it with

51:14 Yeah.

51:14 I wonder if that's going to be

51:15 Yeah.

51:15 But I mean like the who's the fighter is like my age.

51:18 I'm like yo what's going on here?

51:21 Maybe

51:21 coming back.

51:21 Like Randy Couture won the title in his 40s, you know.

51:24 Yeah, man.

51:25 One has some wild striking fights, man.

51:28 Some of the absolute best standup fights in the world are happening on one.

51:32 I watch it all the time.

51:33 I never know when that shit's on.

51:35 When is that on?

51:35 Where are you watching?

51:36 There's this[ __] cat out of Dagistan.

51:38 Do you guys know who I'm talking about?

51:39 Asodoula Imangazalv.

51:42 Bro, this dude is uh I think he's 135 lbs.

51:47 I think that's what he fights at.

51:48 And he's like 6'1 and just a laser beam striker.

51:53 Just[ __] people up.

51:55 Like literally might be the best striker in the world.

51:57 Is it just kickboxing?

51:58 Yeah.

51:58 And he's getting in there with Muay Thai.

52:00 He's getting in there with world Muay Thai champions and KOing them.

52:05 Like threetime world Lupini Muay Thai champions.

52:10 Damn.

52:09 Lupini stadium guys.

52:11 This guy is a[ __] straight killer, dude.

52:13 And he's from Dagistan and he can wrestle.

52:17 Damn.

52:17 You gotta Let's see if you can find like a highlight reel

52:19 of his KOs because this is just like Get on YouTube and find

52:23 shot was nasty.

52:23 This I watch this cat every time he fights.

52:26 I just can't.

52:27 He's so[ __] accurate and he's so slick.

52:30 How old is he?

52:31 He's 22.

52:32 Oh, damn.

52:33 Yeah, man.

52:34 I'm telling you, this 22year-old cat from Dagistan

52:37 might be the best striker on earth right now.

52:40 This dude is so impressive.

52:42 And I'm telling you, he's doing this to dudes who are world champions.

52:48 Oh,

52:48 he's taking out world champion kickboxers, world champion Muay Thai fighters.

52:52 They're putting him in there with these[ __] assassins.

52:55 And he he's making them all go night night.

52:57 Oh, damn.

52:59 Oh, bro, you got to see it in real speed like like you see his real movements.

53:03 It's so impressive.

53:04 Is he withhabib and emo?

53:06 I don't know where he's trained in, but he's from Dagistan, bro.

53:10 He looks like Zabit.

53:12 Yes.

53:12 Like a like a little bit more robust Zabit.

53:17 Robust,

53:17 but it's like it's different.

53:18 Like Zabit had more of a you know,

53:20 he had an incredible style, but it was almost like more taekwond do-ish.

53:24 This guy's pure Muay Thai, but he just[ __] people up, man.

53:27 Accurate, too.

53:28 Oh, he's spin spinning heel kicks, everything.

53:30 Knee the body.

53:31 But it's it's the combinations, the way he's throwing them.

53:34 He just finds these openings on people with this precision that you're like,

53:38 "Motherfucker, man." He keeps the pressure on.

53:41 He keeps the pressure on, too.

53:43 He just flatlined folks one after another, flatlining people, man, bro.

53:48 He's very[ __] impressive.

53:50 And again, very impressive against

53:52 world championship caliber Muay Thai fighters.

53:55 These are not scrubs that he's fight.

53:57 Damn.

53:58 And one's putting these fights on all the time.

54:00 And I was trying to tell Dana this.

54:01 I was like, if you guys had like UFC striking,

54:05 do you know how[ __] exciting that would

54:06 be if just Muay Thai with MMA gloves on?

54:09 Well, they should do that.

54:10 They do the BJ now 100%.

54:13 They're missing out on a giant opportunity because how

54:16 many people boo when a fight goes to the ground.

54:18 Boo.

54:19 These guys never go to the ground, right?

54:21 It's just all And kickboxing is so much more brutal than than boxing.

54:25 Way more brutal.

54:26 It just didn't get a fair shake in America.

54:29 It's not that it's not exciting.

54:30 It's the most exciting aspect of the UFC other

54:32 than a great submission like Alexa Graco after a knockout.

54:35 That's like the most exciting.

54:37 [laughter]

55:33 I could People[ __] about Commot.

55:35 I could watch him do that to Draus all day long.

55:38 I don't give a[ __] I That's masterful.

55:42 Masterful.

55:41 Get him off you.

55:43 People like, "Oh, that's a shame." And he doesn't take chances.

55:45 Dude, get He's He's not like He's not trying to beat the[ __] out of him.

55:48 He's getting him tied up and he's

55:50 beating him up and he's just he's working him over.

55:52 I mean, what do you want him to stand up in the in a crucifix?

55:55 Like, what are you talking about here?

55:57 Yeah.

55:57 I mean, that's Drius' problem.

55:58 Like, Drius need to get them.

55:59 Yeah.

56:00 Yeah.

56:00 100%.

56:00 And I don't I don't believe in standups at all.

56:02 Period.

56:03 I think the only time you should stand up is someone fouls.

56:06 If someone does a foul and then you have to stand it up,

56:08 take a point away from them, maybe then you stand them up.

56:11 Yeah.

56:11 Like you can't you shouldn't reward a guy for having like[ __] defense.

56:15 If the dude on the bottom is the one that failed, put them back where they were.

56:19 Don't reward.

56:19 [laughter] Right.

56:21 Right.

56:21 Right.

56:21 Yeah.

56:22 Definitely.

56:23 But other than that, why are you letting people stand up?

56:25 Why?

56:26 Guy had to work so hard to get him to the ground.

56:28 Maybe he's taking a break for a couple seconds to catch his breath.

56:31 Yeah.

56:31 You know, like what the[ __] do you want?

56:33 Like figure out how to get up.

56:36 Yeah.

56:35 Bottom people just have to be better.

56:37 Also, you know what how to fix that?

56:38 Here's how you fix that.

56:39 Knees to the head to a downed opponent.

56:41 Absolutely.

56:41 Absolutely.

56:42 And then it's like it's all out

56:43 of the wrestlers then wrestlers become super[ __] dangerous.

56:47 Man, Mark Coleman won the Grand Prix

56:49 with that[ __] Didn't you see the smashing machine?

56:52 Did you like the Smashing Machine?

56:53 I did.

56:53 I did.

56:54 It was good.

56:54 I did.

56:55 I thought The Rock was amazing.

56:56 I thought like his acting like like you didn't think it was The Rock, you know?

57:01 I haven't seen it yet.

57:02 You [clears throat] thought it was Mark Kerr?

57:03 Like he even got a forehead thing like he got

57:05 like rubber put on his forehead or whatever the[ __] like Yeah.

57:08 Make him more Neanderthal.

57:10 A little chromagnetic.

57:10 [laughter] Give a little Frankenstein for almost scene by scene.

57:16 It was almost like the same pretty much the same exact thing as the documentary.

57:20 It was really good.

57:20 the documentary.

57:21 It's it takes it's like the same shots, the same story.

57:24 So, if you seen the documentary, which was great.

57:27 Yeah, same.

57:27 Kerr was a great guest.

57:29 I had him in the podcast.

57:30 He was fun.

57:31 It was really he was a really cool guest, you know.

57:33 No kidding.

57:34 Yeah, he was really fun and just a real intelligent like easy to talk to.

57:37 Like, where does he live now?

57:38 Like that's like Arizona,

57:41 bro.

57:41 I saw him in early UFC's when I was a backstage interviewer.

57:46 He submitted Dan Bobish with his chin to his eye.

57:49 I remember that.

57:50 I remember that too.

57:51 That was crazy.

57:52 I remember when he came on the scene.

57:54 Well, the UFC scene when it with the old Ranger Scott needed a face.

58:00 I remember Rip Rules is what we were about to find out.

58:03 [laughter]

58:04 Morty Heinenstein or something like that.

58:06 The crowd.

58:08 I don't know, man.

58:09 My favorite Mark Kerr fight was against Fabio Gel down in Brazil.

58:12 That was crazy.

58:13 That's where he got his name.

58:14 Yeah, man.

58:14 That's that's my[ __]

58:16 man.

58:17 I I was a big Fabio fan and like I mean if you can't have respect

58:21 for that guy after that beating he took

58:23 and he never never[ __] thought about quitting.

58:27 Crazy.

58:27 Yeah.

58:27 Heads and everything.

58:29 Who said yes to that?

58:30 [laughter] Yeah.

58:31 Right.

58:32 Let me put you guys aside.

58:33 Explain physics.

58:35 And now I need to introduce you to steroids.

58:38 [laughter] That was to combine physics and steroids

58:41 and like no you're not fighting Mark Ker.

58:43 Right.

58:43 If [laughter] you look at the time,

58:44 that's when jiu-jitsu still had that mystique about it though.

58:47 True.

58:47 You know, back when they weren't losing,

58:50 but that kind of killed,

58:50 but like that's when like the beginning

58:52 of the end of like the guard started for MMA.

58:55 It was like that cuz like those big wrestlers was just like, "Oh,

58:58 you mean all I got to do is block his hips and head?" Right?

59:02 There was Do you remember when Mario Sperry fought Igor Zenovia?

59:06 Oh, yeah.

59:07 So, Mario Sperry's like one of the first jiu-jitsu black belts to lose in MMA.

59:12 That's right.

59:12 Yes,

59:13 we all thought jiu-jitsu blackwells were invincible, right?

59:16 And Mario Sperry was elite.

59:18 He was a really good black belt.

59:20 And so he fought Zenov and Zenovia stopped him.

59:23 I remember that.

59:24 Yeah.

59:24 And Mario was doing everything right, mounting him correctly,

59:27 doing but then he would just do one

59:28 of those weird like super big bridges and get

59:31 and then his because he had endurance

59:33 and he was able to just withstand his attack.

59:35 He

59:36 he ended up cutting him or something towards the end.

59:38 Yeah.

59:38 Yeah.

59:38 It was a big cut.

59:39 They stopped him from a cut, right?

59:40 Speaking of old school guys, guess who was at the UFC last week?

59:43 Marillo Booster.

59:45 YES, HE WAS he was Jose tapped twice

59:49 in the world title defense made him tapped twice.

59:53 Yeah, he also fought 45 bit.

59:53 He fought Tom Ericson.

59:55 Tom Eric 45.

59:56 Oh yeah.

59:57 I thought I thought beat uh Chuck Liddell too honestly in that fight.

1:00:01 He might have.

1:00:02 Yeah.

1:00:02 Some of the options.

1:00:03 He was he was a bad[ __] He was

1:00:05 really good boxing and insane jiu-jitsu but really good boxing.

1:00:08 one of the first guys from like that Carlson Gracie team along with

1:00:12 good wrestler too like he had good takedowns you know for a jiu-jitsu guy too

1:00:16 but like that's my point he's at the UFC just cornering Jose

1:00:19 Delano and like no one knows who he is and I'm like yo

1:00:23 I need to give a lesson on this guy like he's one

1:00:25 of my favorite fighters of all time but no one knows who he is

1:00:29 that's crazy he's a legend but you know there's

1:00:32 so many people now it's like time just goes on

1:00:35 what a bunch of killers Carlson had back in the Hey man, what a dude.

1:00:40 His school in 96 when all that was going

1:00:44 down when right before Vtor got into labor Carlo Berto.

1:00:50 Yeah there Sergio Cohen.

1:00:53 He had a bunch of beasts man.

1:00:54 And they would we would watch them all train together.

1:00:57 Mario Sperry was telling us a story about uh

1:01:00 how he when he was just starting out in jiu-jitsu,

1:01:02 he uh made his girlfriend sit there and he

1:01:04 just put her in triangle after triangle after triangle.

1:01:06 She [laughter] she kept complaining that's hysterical

1:01:11 watching TV just practicing triangles on his girlfriend.

1:01:14 [laughter] that she

1:01:16 we were lucky to we were talking last night about how fortunate we were to come

1:01:19 up when we did you know and like even back at at Henzo's and you had Henzo

1:01:25 you had Hyen coming through you had Hal

1:01:27 coming through you had Matt you had Ricardo

1:01:29 you had Shawn Alvarez like we just had a ton of killers you know and back then

1:01:35 it was I always joke about the tapout[ __] but

1:01:39 if you saw somebody in an airport in the 90s with a tapout

1:01:42 shirt on you were like where you know where you train [laughter]

1:01:45 Then now then it went to like JC[ __]

1:01:47 pennies which is cool cuz it was except forever 21.

1:01:51 [laughter] Yeah.

1:01:53 But it was pretty wild.

1:01:55 I had [snorts] some tap out charts.

1:01:56 Everybody did.

1:01:58 Right.

1:01:58 Those guys were fun.

1:01:59 Yeah, definitely.

1:02:00 It was a weird time that that time of MMA.

1:02:02 If you go back to like like even when like you and I first met,

1:02:05 it was like when what year was that?

1:02:08 2001 we met.

1:02:09 Crazy.

1:02:10 That's crazy.

1:02:10 cuz you weren't a commentator yet,

1:02:12 but but I fought Kelly Delante and you gave me a nice shout out.

1:02:16 We need more of that jungle jiu-jitsu like Matt Sarah when you buy

1:02:19 AND I'M LIKE, "OH, they show you up."

1:02:22 Yeah, that's funny.

1:02:23 Yeah, that that was that was 2001 cuz I mailed you a shirt

1:02:28 to thank you and then you called the academy and I'm like, "Oh, what's up?"

1:02:31 That was funny, man.

1:02:32 It's crazy.

1:02:33 But jiu-jitsu was so physical then.

1:02:35 Like it was a physical thing.

1:02:37 Now it's so intellectual and like these nerds think they own it.

1:02:40 Autistic kids got jiu-jitsu [laughter] and now they think and now they think

1:02:45 they own it and it's like yo what what are you talking about?

1:02:48 They start talking about technique.

1:02:49 It's like they're talking chess moves.

1:02:51 Yeah.

1:02:52 You don't know the names.

1:02:53 And he's like you don't know that.

1:02:54 It's like dude I know that I like what what's the [laughter] um

1:02:57 what when you're going for the uh they call it the kg guard.

1:03:00 I'm like[ __] man I've been doing that since the 90s man.

1:03:03 At first I'm like what's the you don't know the kg guard?

1:03:05 I'm like then they show it.

1:03:06 I go, "Well, yeah.

1:03:07 I Yeah, I just never called it the[ __] K, [laughter] you know,

1:03:11 but it's funny you bring up Marilla Bamante.

1:03:13 We talked about Fabio Gajelle back then, and I know jiu-jitsu evolved,

1:03:16 but if you take those guys,

1:03:17 you put them in the Abu Dhabi submission uh uh tournament,

1:03:21 you put them in the BJJ, IBJJF,

1:03:23 and you put them in an MMA fight, their jiu-jitsu is the same.

1:03:27 It carries over to all

1:03:29 and and they may not win but they're competitive and they have their own right

1:03:34 have it across the board where

1:03:37 somebody should look to just used to scissoring or just used to legs

1:03:41 you know what I mean that that that can't transfer over.

1:03:45 Here's what[ __] my head up.

1:03:47 If you gun to my head said to me who

1:03:50 do you think has the best jiujitsu in MMA right now?

1:03:55 my head would go Charles Oliver.

1:03:59 I was getting ready my first but Islam Makachev finished him on the ground.

1:04:04 So how can I say that right?

1:04:06 So it[ __] my head up because I'm like

1:04:08 if you think about like a elite expressions of jiu-jitsu

1:04:11 on the ground like one of the most dangerous

1:04:12 guys off his back Olivera Oliver is so dangerous everywhere.

1:04:15 If he gets on top of you you're[ __] I mean,

1:04:17 it was just that Max Holloway's defense is so tight

1:04:21 and he's so tough that he didn't get finished, right?

1:04:24 A lot of dudes would have been out here in that first round.

1:04:26 How crazy it was that he was able to just manhandle him and take him down.

1:04:29 I mean, Max, nobody took Max down like that.

1:04:31 He manhandled him.

1:04:32 It was bananas.

1:04:33 But I think Max is a guy that is like he can fight at 45.

1:04:37 I think it was really hard when he went up to 55 and then went down to 45.

1:04:41 But at 45 in his prime, oh[ __] it was a perfect weight class for him.

1:04:46 When Oliver was fighting at 45, he was killing himself.

1:04:49 Like he fought like he just was fatigued easier.

1:04:52 But then when he went up to 55, then he became Charles Olivera.

1:04:56 You know, it was really all at 55 where he made his mark.

1:04:59 He tried that[ __] though with Ilia.

1:05:00 He did try to take him down and he tried.

1:05:06 He's on another level.

1:05:07 He's on another level.

1:05:09 super wellrounded and people haven't really even seen that yet.

1:05:12 He's on a level where I can't wait for his next fights.

1:05:15 Like when when he's fighting, I'm like, what is he going to do now?

1:05:18 Yeah.

1:05:18 Like how what is because I I think he's getting better.

1:05:21 I think it's not just I think the dude is like their approach to it.

1:05:24 There's a documentary on YouTube with the they're

1:05:27 like talking about how they break down

1:05:29 all their fight camps and what they're doing

1:05:31 and the different stuff that they train in.

1:05:33 Like these dudes are on another level.

1:05:34 I mean, when you think about like if

1:05:36 a fight between like Ilia and Islam were to happen,

1:05:39 like think about like the magnitude

1:05:40 of that of like not only just like star power, but just in terms of skill.

1:05:45 Like breaking that down in terms of skill.

1:05:47 Oh my god.

1:05:47 Like two of the best skilled fighters of all time.

1:05:50 Of all time.

1:05:52 Yeah,

1:05:51 that would be an insane fight.

1:05:53 And I I just really would like it if it happened to be at 55.

1:05:57 Like Iliot 170 is 55 would be better

1:06:01 because Islam at 170 is probably walking around a buck 96 __] jacked.

1:06:07 I think uh Armen should be spoken about too.

1:06:12 Look how he% he had a a pretty good fight with uh

1:06:16 Islam back when he how many years ago when he was like 21.

1:06:18 I mean he was I mean scrambled.

1:06:20 Although I do have to say if uh the scoring was correct I think

1:06:25 I think Olivivera would have beat him

1:06:26 in that fight cuz Olivivera threatened him with submissions

1:06:30 that is true a couple times.

1:06:32 A couple times like that to me is more valuable than holding a guy down.

1:06:36 Did Arman threaten he had an arm choke with him?

1:06:38 Well, no.

1:06:40 He was kind of on the run but he was

1:06:42 kind of on the run more often than we remember.

1:06:45 Like Armen was

1:06:46 Yeah.

1:06:46 In terms of like inside the guard of Oliver.

1:06:49 Yeah.

1:06:49 like he was kind of, you know, he was on the run.

1:06:51 It's dangerous in there, man.

1:06:53 It's not like everybody else's.

1:06:54 Like there's only a few guys like him and

1:06:56 you know, Paul Craig, bro, Paul Craig could latch on a[ __] triangle.

1:07:00 Like that guy has beaten world champions.

1:07:03 You think about it, he beat Jamal, broke his arm.

1:07:05 Jamal, he beat uh

1:07:07 Uncle Stopped him with like one second to go in the third round with a triangle.

1:07:13 Yeah,

1:07:12 he might have one of the best tri What was that one

1:07:15 dude from back in the day that won all his fights by triangle?

1:07:19 Dustin.

1:07:19 Uh, no.

1:07:20 English guy.

1:07:21 Yeah.

1:07:21 Um, I know exactly who you're talking about.

1:07:24 Oh my god, it's gonna drive me nuts.

1:07:25 Little skinny English guy.

1:07:27 He like was all triangles, like 11 triangles in a row.

1:07:29 He had this one move and if he can get

1:07:31 you to the ground and latch his legs around you,

1:07:33 you were[ __] Paul ass.

1:07:36 Paul.

1:07:38 Shout out to Paul Sass.

1:07:40 Yeah, he was a beast.

1:07:41 He get you in that triangle, you're[ __]

1:07:43 And the Fisio Redoom is another one, right?

1:07:47 Yeah.

1:07:46 Yeah.

1:07:46 I mean he was that he triangled Fedor when Fedor was Fedor.

1:07:51 I always tell people if you want to look

1:07:52 at the one of alltime greats in heavyweight.

1:07:54 Don't look at all losses and[ __] Stop right here in the prime.

1:07:58 Who has tapped out more legends than Fabricio Verdoom?

1:08:03 Minotauro [snorts] Fedor.

1:08:05 I mean that is crazy just those two.

1:08:07 Cain Velasquez, right?

1:08:08 That's true.

1:08:09 He's tapped out all the legends.

1:08:12 True.

1:08:12 And they weren't past their prime either.

1:08:14 Fedor was securely in his prime%.

1:08:18 I remember watching that live thinking, "Oh my god,

1:08:21 he ran right into it.

1:08:22 He ran right into that jump into it."

1:08:25 Brilliant.

1:08:25 He his jiu-jitsu was like scary off his back.

1:08:28 Yeah.

1:08:28 Fedor had no respect for the guard.

1:08:30 Just,

1:08:31 you know, was trying to take his head off and just fed it to him.

1:08:35 You can't do that with a guy.

1:08:36 Not a guy like that.

1:08:37 That's a different level.

1:08:39 And plus, he hit Kobe in the head with a boomerang.

1:08:41 Remember that?

1:08:41 [laughter] There's nothing wrong with that.

1:08:44 Give you some points for that as well.

1:08:46 That was my favorite video of all time cuz he hit him

1:08:48 with the boomerang and then the bag and Kobe was reaching out for the bag.

1:08:51 [laughter]

1:08:51 Yeah, you got to give him some points for that, too.

1:08:53 Out of all the people that I thought I

1:08:54 was definitely going to see on the White House lawn.

1:08:56 It was going to be a Kobe Coington fight.

1:08:59 I was like, how is he how did you

1:09:00 not have a Kobe Coington fight at the White House, man?

1:09:03 I don't know.

1:09:04 He's like super supportive of Trump.

1:09:05 Wears Trump hats everywhere

1:09:07 and he's not a fight.

1:09:08 They didn't get him hooked up.

1:09:08 They didn't hook him up.

1:09:09 I don't know.

1:09:10 How did that not happen?

1:09:11 Bo Nickel wanted to fight him.

1:09:13 Yeah, but that's a different weight class.

1:09:15 Bo Nickel's a big dude.

1:09:16 He's

1:09:17 He's a 85.

1:09:21 Yeah,

1:09:20 that's a You know, Kobe's not a big 70.

1:09:23 Is he a great size for Yeah.

1:09:26 No, I don't match him.

1:09:29 Yeah, that's going to be interesting.

1:09:30 Yeah, I think Chris a little big for him for I think that should go well for

1:09:34 Who is Wee fighting next?

1:09:37 Brady.

1:09:37 Sean Brady.

1:09:38 Sean Brady.

1:09:38 Is that in Miami?

1:09:39 No, that's

1:09:40 No, that's in uh in Jersey, right?

1:09:41 Yeah, that's right.

1:09:42 I'll be on Philly next week with Brady.

1:09:44 Shout out

1:09:45 is on a tear until tomorrow got a hold of Shout out to Brady.

1:09:49 One of his shirts

1:09:50 out of the two guys that are like

1:09:52 most worthy for a shot at the welterweight title.

1:09:54 I mean, you you got to think Ian Gary,

1:09:57 but you also got to think Camaro because he

1:10:00 doesn't have much time left and he's a legend, right?

1:10:03 One of the greatest welterweights of all time.

1:10:05 And then he just beats Wim Buckley like that.

1:10:08 I mean like walking[ __] monster.

1:10:11 Buckley was on the fast rise to

1:10:14 Wonderboy.

1:10:15 That Wonder Boy beat the[ __] out of Kobe.

1:10:17 Yeah.

1:10:17 Beat the[ __] out of Kobe, bro.

1:10:18 Beat the[ __] out of him.

1:10:19 Walk doesn't get tired either, which is crazy.

1:10:21 Like you look at his physique.

1:10:23 Yeah.

1:10:23 That guy's got to get out.

1:10:25 He just his he keeps that gas going for three[ __] rounds.

1:10:29 Full clip.

1:10:30 Yeah.

1:10:30 Believe me, I know.

1:10:31 I've been watching him, right?

1:10:33 Been watching him for months now.

1:10:35 No.

1:10:35 Sean Brady, I think.

1:10:36 Uh that's

1:10:37 old turtle shell.

1:10:39 Yeah.

1:10:39 Yeah.

1:10:39 [laughter] That back of his is [clears throat] so preposterous.

1:10:43 And he's staying at that weight, right?

1:10:45 Yeah.

1:10:45 He's not going down.

1:10:49 Yeah.

1:10:47 What about and uh Jerry this weekend?

1:10:51 You know what, man?

1:10:53 If you if you're looking at it on paper,

1:10:55 if you like if you just watch their movements, Old Berg is really fast.

1:10:59 He's really accurate.

1:11:01 Um, and he's slick and he's a big tall[ __] with great skills.

1:11:07 Yuri creates chaos.

1:11:11 Yes.

1:11:11 And in that chaos, you don't know exactly how someone's

1:11:14 going to respond when the guy's still there when you crack

1:11:16 him and he's all over you and he's doing wild[ __]

1:11:18 He's got a[ __] ponytail at the top of his head.

1:11:21 He's a maniac, but he's not faking it.

1:11:24 Oh, no.

1:11:24 He believes everything he says.

1:11:26 That dude, that's how that dude really lives.

1:11:29 Like, he really does hit trees in the woods.

1:11:31 He goes out there with a makiwara.

1:11:32 His[ __] [laughter] He does all the hard style Japanese[ __]

1:11:36 and you know he spends time in the woods by himself alone.

1:11:40 He does uh he swims under the ice.

1:11:42 He does the

1:11:43 I saw that.

1:11:43 I actually saw a video.

1:11:44 I go, "Fuck that dude."

1:11:47 I mean, you have to find where the hole is and you got to come back.

1:11:50 We had some people in there, too, just in case.

1:11:52 Isn't that crazy?

1:11:54 Listen, man.

1:11:54 Just look at that dude.

1:11:55 His ancestors came over on a boat [laughter] with a skull on it

1:12:00 and they had[ __] swords and they

1:12:02 hopped off and started slicing [laughter] people.

1:12:05 That dude is a[ __] Viking.

1:12:07 Whatever he is that war those warrior jeans like

1:12:10 that's in that that dude takes you to hell.

1:12:13 He takes He just can't do it with Alex.

1:12:15 He guts his way.

1:12:16 That's it.

1:12:16 That style just doesn't work with Pereira.

1:12:19 I'm wondering does he walk into one here cuz he's going to get hit.

1:12:23 Khalil beat the living[ __] out of him for two rounds and then

1:12:28 ran out of gas.

1:12:29 Oberg's a big guy, too.

1:12:30 Khalil's not a big, you know, if you look if you look at him in comparison

1:12:34 to some of the other guys in that weight class.

1:12:36 He could make 85.

1:12:38 Here's here's one that people are sleeping on.

1:12:40 Moff.

1:12:43 Yeah, you think I'm leaning Paulo's Paulo's way.

1:12:46 You almost sold me on that yesterday, but Merov manated.

1:12:51 Undefeated.

1:12:51 Let me tell you 37 and fought nobody.

1:12:54 I'm riding it.

1:12:55 [laughter] True.

1:12:56 He put He put Rockish to sleep though.

1:12:59 He put Rockish to sleep in the first round, dude.

1:13:01 He's slick.

1:13:02 I He does[ __] in there.

1:13:03 I'm like, you know, he calls himself the professional.

1:13:06 And it's like he seems like a hitman.

1:13:08 Like some Russian hitman you hire that comes to[ __] kill people.

1:13:11 He believes in his power.

1:13:12 That's a fact.

1:13:13 It's not just his power, man.

1:13:14 It's his skills.

1:13:15 When I look at him, I'm like, this is a smart guy.

1:13:17 Like he moves like a smart guy.

1:13:20 Everything's calculated.

1:13:21 Everything's technical.

1:13:22 He's really hard to hit clean.

1:13:24 He's a He's a slick character.

1:13:26 And he does[ __] too, like he overreaches, but he overreaches,

1:13:29 I think, on purpose to get reads off you.

1:13:31 If he senses the guy's moving away,

1:13:33 he'll he'll come in with big shots that he doesn't in to try

1:13:36 to get a get you to react and then counter like that.

1:13:39 That right hook that he hit him with, it was almost like a jab.

1:13:41 Yeah.

1:13:42 That he dropped Rockage with just saw the saw

1:13:45 this movement that Rockic kept doing over and over again.

1:13:48 Bang.

1:13:48 Yeah.

1:13:49 Came in with like a straight right jab.

1:13:51 Almost like a hook jab.

1:13:53 Paul's got a chin.

1:13:54 Look at that.

1:13:54 Watch that again.

1:13:56 Look how slick this is.

1:13:58 Boom.

1:13:59 Just He's a killer, man.

1:14:01 We don't know what Paul Costa is going to look like at 205, though.

1:14:03 He's never fought it that way.

1:14:04 Well, didn't he once when he didn't make weight for 85 against Marvin Vtori?

1:14:09 Yeah.

1:14:09 Yeah.

1:14:09 He forced Marvin Vtori.

1:14:10 He was like, "No, this fight is at 205 now."

1:14:13 Izzy [laughter] Izzy[ __] his mind up.

1:14:15 I think

1:14:16 he definitely did.

1:14:16 I mean he but he looked the best he's looked his last fight.

1:14:19 Like he cop he just ran through him.

1:14:22 Dude, you go back to when he was when he

1:14:23 was walking people down like walked down yo Romero Paul.

1:14:27 He was a berserker.

1:14:28 I remember when he saluted Paul uh Yo Romero in the middle of the fight.

1:14:31 That's my favorite part.

1:14:32 That was a great fight.

1:14:33 It was a good fight.

1:14:34 It

1:14:34 was a great fight.

1:14:35 But nobody walks down Yo Romero like that.

1:14:37 I'm kidding.

1:14:37 There's that photo that one photo of him headkicking Yo and Yo's face

1:14:41 is like all distorted and you're like how did he take that shot?

1:14:45 This his neck.

1:14:48 You know, his neck is fused.

1:14:50 Yeah.

1:14:50 That's what I'm saying.

1:14:50 Yeah.

1:14:51 It's all one thing.

1:14:52 It doesn't move.

1:14:52 It's connected to his skull.

1:14:54 That's crazy.

1:14:55 [laughter] Yeah.

1:14:56 Isn't that nuts?

1:14:57 He's [clears throat] sending these comments.

1:14:58 Look at that.

1:14:58 Look at that photo, bro.

1:14:59 That That photo is bonkers.

1:15:01 Imagine how tough you got to be to be Yoel Romero and

1:15:06 take that to the head when you know your neck

1:15:09 has been through an insane operation where you have metal

1:15:14 connecting the[ __] spine of your neck to your head.

1:15:17 Sorry.

1:15:17 They implanted monster traps to hold his hand at the same time.

1:15:21 They were like he's a such a freak athletic freak.

1:15:25 And you see he just fought bare knuckles

1:15:27 at 49 and a lot of people disputed the decision.

1:15:30 They thought he should have won.

1:15:31 Yeah,

1:15:33 in Russia.

1:15:34 Yeah.

1:15:34 I don't [laughter]

1:15:35 Yo, Romero in Russia.

1:15:37 I don't know how he does it.

1:15:38 He looks great.

1:15:39 Yeah.

1:15:40 I don't know how he does it.

1:15:41 If you told me he was 32, I believe.

1:15:42 Yeah.

1:15:42 He's RA did RAF as well.

1:15:46 Yeah.

1:15:46 Yeah.

1:15:47 Yeah.

1:15:47 Yeah.

1:15:48 Who Who did he beat?

1:15:48 Pat Downey.

1:15:49 Pat.

1:15:50 And then he came back and he came back and he [clears throat] lost the next one.

1:15:53 Yeah.

1:15:53 But he was wrestled a legit thing.

1:15:56 Dude, the guy that I'm most impressed with in that is Armen.

1:16:00 Oh, I can't believe how good he is as a wrestler.

1:16:04 Yeah.

1:16:03 Who's the dude he tech?

1:16:06 No, no, no.

1:16:07 The the Lance.

1:16:09 Oh, Lance Palmer.

1:16:10 That's Lance Palmer,

1:16:11 bro.

1:16:12 Lance Palmer is a legit wrestler for sure.

1:16:14 And Lance was like, "Oh, he's never wrestled at my level.

1:16:17 He's never wrestled guys at my level." Arman goes up there.

1:16:19 Tech falls.

1:16:20 Bro, Armani did better.

1:16:23 Yeah.

1:16:22 But even Giorgio, like you watch those videos that he does

1:16:25 when he does like $100 TV or whatever, whatever it is.

1:16:29 Yeah.

1:16:29 He Armen is a[ __] bad man, dude.

1:16:32 He's a bad man.

1:16:33 I know it.

1:16:34 Yeah.

1:16:34 If you wanted to fight for Ilia at 55, that's a very interesting fight.

1:16:39 100% very interesting fight

1:16:41 cuz he's hard to hit.

1:16:42 He's very slick and technical.

1:16:44 Super flexible.

1:16:45 Like you ever seen those weird like mobility exercises

1:16:48 he does with twists and[ __] with crazy bridges.

1:16:52 Crazy flexibility.

1:16:54 He's definitely in his prime, man.

1:16:55 He can't waste his life away right now.

1:16:57 Stop headbutting people.

1:16:58 doing the right thing because you are

1:17:00 in your prime right now and it doesn't last forever.

1:17:02 He probably already he might already be champ if he could

1:17:04 keep it together outside of the you [clears throat] know what I

1:17:07 mean like if the who knows what would have happened in the Oliver

1:17:10 fight it was a proper fight a five rounder you know

1:17:13 he's staying busy though it's not like he's on the couch you know what I mean

1:17:17 he's doing those videos with he put Mo I have to sleep

1:17:20 a couple weeks ago yeah that was a little too much that was a lot yeah 125

1:17:25 yeah [laughter] but like he kept it I whenever they keep

1:17:28 it on when the guy's already sleeping for too long

1:17:29 it's like yo what are you what's going on here

1:17:31 you know he you got to know he's out.

1:17:33 The[ __] happening?

1:17:34 Maybe some unkind words were exchanged.

1:17:36 That's kind of my fault process.

1:17:38 I'm sure that happened.

1:17:40 Is a hotthead, right?

1:17:42 You've been known to say something.

1:17:43 What did he get kicked out of the UFC for?

1:17:44 What happened with him?

1:17:46 I heard he was just like mean to people.

1:17:48 Like mean to the staff.

1:17:49 That's what I heard.

1:17:50 He was just like mean to the staff.

1:17:51 Yo, I wasn't even talking I was talking about when he did it to a streamer.

1:17:54 I'm not talking about that fight.

1:17:55 Oh, we're talking about a No, no, no.

1:17:57 I'm talking about him doing it to like

1:17:58 just putting a somebody to sleep of his friends.

1:18:02 The guys with his other I don't think I saw it.

1:18:04 It was him on a couch and he put the guy to sleep.

1:18:07 This is a regular Joe.

1:18:08 Armen did this.

1:18:09 Yeah, man.

1:18:10 Jamie.

1:18:11 No, no, no.

1:18:11 [laughter] Sorry, Jamie.

1:18:13 Jamie, but uh yo yo, he put him to sleep and he held that[ __] on for an extra

1:18:19 how too many seconds.

1:18:21 Look at this.

1:18:21 Watch this.

1:18:23 Oh,

1:18:23 no.

1:18:23 No, I'm telling you.

1:18:24 Do you tell me if you think it's too long?

1:18:26 That guy's neck makes me sad.

1:18:28 But now look to know that he's going to do that to him.

1:18:31 Now look to see this

1:18:35 now.

1:18:35 Ready?

1:18:36 Let's see.

1:18:37 Now he's out, right?

1:18:39 He lasted a long time.

1:18:41 Yo, man.

1:18:42 What are you doing?

1:18:42 What the[ __] He's out already.

1:18:44 I mean, for how long?

1:18:45 That's really crazy.

1:18:45 Been out.

1:18:47 That's really [laughter] You ought to kill him.

1:18:49 That's really crazy.

1:18:50 Yeah, that was uh that's so unnecessary.

1:18:52 That's what I'm saying, man.

1:18:53 What the[ __] Yeah, that's that's a lot worse than I thought it was going to be.

1:18:57 Yeah.

1:18:57 Sorry, guys.

1:18:57 I hate to bring the room down, but on the news [laughter] that's the crazy

1:19:00 thing is Armen knows he was out right away.

1:19:02 Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

1:19:03 No,

1:19:04 also that guy's neck looks like it's never been choked.

1:19:06 [laughter] I felt sad for what he was going to do to it when I saw his neck.

1:19:10 His neck is making me feel sad cuz I know that's going to hurt.

1:19:13 That[ __] gorilla, that dude's got a clamp on him, man.

1:19:17 Little[ __] is having soup for a week after that.

1:19:19 [laughter]

1:19:19 Yeah, right.

1:19:20 What's the problem?

1:19:21 Arman's[ __] grip is so incredible, man.

1:19:24 I'm just very impressed with him, man.

1:19:26 Very impressed with his grappling.

1:19:27 I just wish he could keep it together.

1:19:29 Yeah.

1:19:29 I mean, he I mean, his striking is not bad neither.

1:19:31 Like, he His first fight with Islam was very close.

1:19:34 Very close.

1:19:35 First fight in the UFC.

1:19:36 I don't even [clears throat] think he got a full camp.

1:19:38 Probably not.

1:19:39 I don't I think it was a short notice fight and he fought very well.

1:19:42 You know, he's he's at the it's just like crazy

1:19:45 that fuckups have kept him from being at the time.

1:19:48 The the missing the title fight was the big one.

1:19:49 Yeah, that was the craziest one.

1:19:51 Like his back hurt the day before.

1:19:53 Like come on.

1:19:54 It's crazy.

1:19:55 And you make Hannato Moonnell go out there

1:19:57 and you know not and not having prepared for him.

1:20:01 Moonnell looked good against Duncan.

1:20:05 Money jab on him.Oop.

1:20:07 I like when he gets on that mic, too.

1:20:08 He starts talking[ __] [laughter] Awesome.

1:20:11 He I wish he would have started talking[ __] even earlier.

1:20:13 Like I always liked the guy, but he's[ __] hilarious.

1:20:15 He might be the best in the business right now.

1:20:17 He's funny, man.

1:20:18 He's not getting enough mic time.

1:20:19 He needs mic time when he gets on the mic time.

1:20:23 Money[ __] boy.

1:20:25 It's hysterical.

1:20:25 [laughter]

1:20:26 They're podcasts.

1:20:26 He's good.

1:20:27 You know, he's good on there with him.

1:20:28 And I think Gilbert, you know, they all[ __][ __]

1:20:31 Well, that was the thing.

1:20:31 He's he's doing some streams on in he's doing them in English and in Portuguese,

1:20:35 but the Portuguese is doing better for him.

1:20:37 Okay.

1:20:38 And he's like, I'm making money off YouTube now.

1:20:40 Like, so I don't care anymore.

1:20:42 I I'm I have my money.

1:20:43 Like, I have a a big stream of revenue coming in from YouTube.

1:20:46 Subscribe to my channel,[ __] baby,[ __] [laughter] He's a character.

1:20:52 You need that.

1:20:52 You need some personalities in there.

1:20:54 __] yeah.

1:20:54 He's good, too.

1:20:55 Remember like his his fight with uh Benois Sanden.

1:20:59 Oh yeah, merked him, right?

1:21:02 Sandine is on his way to a potential future title shop.

1:21:05 That win looks real good.

1:21:06 Real good.

1:21:08 You can't judge him on that short notice of[ __] I know.

1:21:10 What do you guys think of uh Hookit's[ __]

1:21:13 He's so fun.

1:21:14 You think it's fun?

1:21:15 I think it's funny.

1:21:16 I Man, I don't get it, man.

1:21:17 I don't get it.

1:21:18 [laughter] I don't get it.

1:21:19 What are you talking about?

1:21:21 People are talking[ __] It's not It's not witty.

1:21:24 It's like It ain't funny.

1:21:26 It ain't witty.

1:21:26 It looks like he's trying too hard.

1:21:28 Exactly.

1:21:28 I love it.

1:21:29 No, [laughter] I don't get it.

1:21:30 He's like a pro wrestler.

1:21:31 It's like pro wrestling smart dude, bro.

1:21:33 You talk to that guy, he's a smart dude.

1:21:35 He knows what he's doing.

1:21:36 He's being a goof.

1:21:37 And here's the thing about people that act really goofy and stupid.

1:21:40 You kind of you[ __] that guy ain't[ __] Like they can trick you.

1:21:45 They can trick you.

1:21:46 You think he's gonna beat Curtis?

1:21:47 I don't know, man.

1:21:48 Curtis is a lot.

1:21:49 You know, it's a big this early in his career.

1:21:51 Curtis has a lot of power.

1:21:53 He's a big[ __] He's going to be a better wrestler.

1:21:55 Probably

1:21:55 got a lot of MMA experience, but Hook's a hard dude to solve.

1:21:59 He's a really good wrestler and he's[ __]

1:22:01 hyperaggressive and he's got definitely uh he's fast.

1:22:06 He's athletic.

1:22:07 He's he's a one of the guys that I have my eye on.

1:22:09 You think he can make 205 or you

1:22:11 think he's should I mean well heavyweight's light so

1:22:14 perhaps

1:22:14 maybe stay there but really we're just waiting for Gable.

1:22:18 Yeah.

1:22:18 Yeah.

1:22:19 We're he's getting Romanov I think is wrestling him and

1:22:23 I would not let him do that.

1:22:24 I'd be like what if you blow your ACL out?

1:22:26 What are you crazy?

1:22:26 Why are you doing this?

1:22:27 You're going to be the heavyweight champion of the UFC.

1:22:29 They got to be paying and Romanov's a big dude, man.

1:22:32 Yeah.

1:22:33 I mean, look, I think G I think he'll be fine.

1:22:35 But

1:22:36 when you think of guys that are like a Mike Tyson in MMA,

1:22:40 like when Mike Tyson was coming up,

1:22:42 that's what I what I think of when I see him.

1:22:43 Yeah.

1:22:44 I'm like, how do you deal with that?

1:22:45 How the[ __] do you deal with that?

1:22:46 He moves like a cat.

1:22:47 He's 240 lbs, Olympic gold medalist, and he can KO you.

1:22:52 Smart ass guy in his corner.

1:22:53 And he's got Jon Jones as a mentor.

1:22:55 Are you[ __] crazy?

1:22:56 Fight IQ.

1:22:57 John's, you know, he's one of the smartest guys.

1:23:00 Yeah.

1:23:00 You got that guy in your corner and everybody saying, I mean,

1:23:03 he's one of the only guys that isn't even

1:23:05 in the UFC yet that I had him on my podcast.

1:23:08 I was like, I got to talk.

1:23:09 I mean, he's accomplished, I think, enough anyway.

1:23:11 He's already a[ __] Olympic gold medalist, NCAA champion.

1:23:15 Got to be mid20s.

1:23:17 Oh, he's young.

1:23:17 He's young.

1:23:18 And he they're doing it smart, you know.

1:23:20 They gave him um one of those uh what do they call?

1:23:22 Dirty boxing.

1:23:23 Dirty boxing fight.

1:23:24 The one where he jumped.

1:23:25 Dude, did you see he jumped over

1:23:26 jumped over the rope like it was nothing landed on?

1:23:28 It was pretty sick.

1:23:29 He jumped.

1:23:30 Just stood there and leapt over the ropes after he won and land like the

1:23:37 dude [laughter] after he would when he

1:23:39 went he won the NCAA championships like he

1:23:41 can do like roundoffs and like the[ __]

1:23:44 like literally boom boom boom like a gymnast.

1:23:46 It's[ __] crazy.

1:23:47 And I guarantee you that attribute that's we attribute

1:23:50 to the speed that he has and covering distance.

1:23:53 He's dangerous, man.

1:23:55 Watch this.

1:23:55 Watch when he goes over this rope.

1:23:56 This is crazy.

1:23:59 Damn.

1:23:59 BJ pinch jump up and out of the pool right there.

1:24:01 [laughter]

1:24:02 I mean, that is crazy.

1:24:03 But he just he just stuck the landing and started twerking

1:24:07 effortlessly.

1:24:08 He's a monster, dude.

1:24:09 Real hard problem for people.

1:24:11 Anybody wrestled named Gable?

1:24:12 You better[ __] be good.

1:24:14 Yeah.

1:24:14 And named after Dan Gable.

1:24:16 After Dan Gable.

1:24:17 Damn.

1:24:17 So, he's been wrestling since he's a toddler.

1:24:20 and he's just such a[ __] athlete and so smart.

1:24:23 Just dedicated.

1:24:25 They're doing it smart, too.

1:24:26 They're not just jumping him into the UFC right away.

1:24:28 He's getting famous outside the UFC that way.

1:24:33 Yeah.

1:24:33 You try to bring him along as much as you can.

1:24:36 Yeah.

1:24:36 __] your 10 and 10.

1:24:37 Come on, son.

1:24:38 Well, when they sign him,

1:24:39 they got to get they're going to give him more than that struck.

1:24:42 But the thing is, you don't

1:24:42 __] he ain't getting that.

1:24:43 Some people are of the opinion that you don't want to give

1:24:45 a young fighter too much money early because it'll ruin their motivation.

1:24:50 So, I mean, there's truth in that.

1:24:51 But, I mean, it's not Who's that for you to say, though?

1:24:53 You know what I'm saying?

1:24:54 Like, I want my money.

1:24:56 Exactly.

1:24:55 Yeah.

1:24:56 You don't get to determine that.

1:24:57 I want my money.

1:24:58 Guess what?

1:24:58 I think the cream will still rise to the top.

1:25:00 I think the guys that are dedicated that have

1:25:02 a lot like Floyd Mayweather when he was worth hundreds

1:25:04 of millions of dollars would still never drink and run

1:25:07 home from the club instead of people driving his Rolls-Royce.

1:25:11 He's running behind it.

1:25:13 Yeah.

1:25:13 I mean, look at look at Armen, man.

1:25:14 That guy's got money.

1:25:15 He doesn't give a[ __]

1:25:16 He's got a private jet.

1:25:17 Yeah.

1:25:17 He's just Armen's got a private jet.

1:25:19 At least he's always on a private jet.

1:25:20 Seems like he knows it.

1:25:22 Jesus.

1:25:22 Yeah, I think he's got some cash in.

1:25:23 His family has like tons of money.

1:25:25 Yeah, but he still has a desire to be the best.

1:25:27 Yeah.

1:25:28 You know what I mean?

1:25:28 It's either in you or it's not with that.

1:25:30 You know, maybe that's why he can't get his attitude together, too.

1:25:34 You know, perhaps, right?

1:25:35 He doesn't need it.

1:25:36 A bit spoiled in that way, right?

1:25:39 Yeah.

1:25:39 Who's disciplining him?

1:25:40 You know what I mean?

1:25:40 He runs his town, I'm sure.

1:25:42 What do you guys think about Hamzot and Strickland?

1:25:45 I I Well, let me tell you,

1:25:48 this comes down this comes down to Strickland's motivation.

1:25:51 Well, I mean, you got to be[ __] motivated.

1:25:54 How many more shots you get?

1:25:55 Yeah, but I mean, he's worked with him before.

1:25:58 I mean, they I know they say that K's out submitted him,

1:26:00 but if you hear Strickland talk about it,

1:26:02 they were doing like additional rounds when you're starting on the back.

1:26:06 Started on his back.

1:26:06 I mean, come on.

1:26:07 But I think when they moved around, I think he feels pretty confident with it.

1:26:11 He's a hard guy to keep down, Sean.

1:26:13 Yeah.

1:26:13 And uh who made who made Kamzot look human?

1:26:17 Gilbert Burns, Kamar Usman.

1:26:20 I mean, they made him look human, you know.

1:26:22 And Draus again, not you don't want to see that rematch, but

1:26:27 in the fifth, but in that fifth round,

1:26:30 he he did get into some decent positions.

1:26:32 He just got reversed right away.

1:26:33 I mean, Sean, if there's any bit of blood in the water, he's[ __] a finisher.

1:26:38 He's, you know what I mean?

1:26:38 He'll stay on him if he's hurt at all.

1:26:41 He's durable.

1:26:42 I mean, and everybody's saying how underrated his grappling is,

1:26:45 the guys that are working with him.

1:26:46 So, I I mean, it's that's all I've heard, too.

1:26:48 And he's so hard to hit, man.

1:26:51 He's got a weird style.

1:26:52 It's very weird.

1:26:53 It[ __] you up.

1:26:54 And he's really good at moving back away from shots.

1:26:58 All the hands are in your face, too.

1:27:00 He also throws like looping shots on purpose sometimes.

1:27:03 Like, you would think it's bad technique, but he's like finding a way around

1:27:07 your guard and he's catching you with weird stuff.

1:27:10 And his[ __] jab is on point.

1:27:11 Was you Did you Were you at the Was you calling that one?

1:27:14 No, I was there for that.

1:27:16 And you could hear it.

1:27:17 Like you don't always hear that.

1:27:19 You could hear the thud in his jab when Fluffy was blocking him and it was hard.

1:27:25 He was mixing his kicks in there.

1:27:26 Well, he's going to have to watch that.

1:27:28 He wasn't getting hit, man.

1:27:29 The thing about him, if you if you watch him when he's on point,

1:27:32 he's so[ __] hard to hit.

1:27:35 He just[ __] up with Alex.

1:27:36 You just can't make any mistakes.

1:27:38 It seems like everybody[ __] up with Alex.

1:27:40 Yeah, he's he's [laughter] a freak.

1:27:41 Yeah, he doesn't negotiate with you.

1:27:43 He's just like, "You[ __] up, it's over."

1:27:44 Do you do you think that um I

1:27:47 do you think that translates to heavyweight with gone?

1:27:51 I don't think so.

1:27:51 I don't I think Gan is a little bit too I think Gon would decision him.

1:27:57 Good chance of[ __] dancing and and jabbing his way to victory.

1:28:01 But that's what I'm saying.

1:28:01 Like Scott is Gon is going to like put

1:28:04 him I think Alex will[ __] could put him out.

1:28:07 Here's one thing.

1:28:08 Ghan hasn't been 185 pounds since he was 12, right?

1:28:12 Yeah.

1:28:11 I mean, that's a big heavyweight, athletic, moves like a cat,

1:28:16 and he's got world class striking skills, man.

1:28:18 That Tom Aspenol fight, that first round opened up a lot of eyes.

1:28:22 Like, he looked[ __] good, man.

1:28:24 It opened eyes.

1:28:25 All right.

1:28:26 Opened up[ __] [laughter] Tom's eyes.

1:28:28 Hey, dude.

1:28:28 I feel bad for Tom, man, because

1:28:31 talk about a guy that got the[ __] end of the stick,

1:28:35 knuckle deep in his[ __] eyes.

1:28:36 two surgeries and everybody's like, "Ah, walk it off by a poor [laughter] guy."

1:28:41 Really was.

1:28:42 I just think that was handled poorly right after the fact.

1:28:45 You know, I think you have to address right after the fact that you

1:28:48 have to probably tell people like what

1:28:50 kind of injuries can be sustained from this.

1:28:51 They're permanent.

1:28:52 Look at Michael Bisping.

1:28:54 Still can't see out of his right eye.

1:28:56 You can't you can't just have a guy go back into a fight when he can't see.

1:28:59 It's crazy.

1:29:00 It's crazy to ask.

1:29:01 The guy's eyes been injured.

1:29:02 If he gets hit again, it could rupture.

1:29:04 Who knows?

1:29:05 So, who knows what kind of damage you have back there.

1:29:06 So, who do you think was irrespons like getting his back on it?

1:29:19 [sighs]

1:29:20 Uh, if I was doing a press conference afterwards,

1:29:24 what I would emphasize first and foremost is how dangerous eye pokes are.

1:29:28 Yeah.

1:29:28 But I think we've neglected some simple solutions, you know,

1:29:32 and I think there's there's got to be a solution that we

1:29:36 use to stop these[ __] fingers from going into people's eyes.

1:29:39 Point deduction right away.

1:29:40 Point deduction is the easiest.

1:29:42 One eye you touch someone's eyeball with your fingers,

1:29:45 unless it's complete scramble.

1:29:47 You're doing this, his head happens to be there.

1:29:50 Yeah.

1:29:50 But if you're doing this when a guy's coming in and your fingers go in his eyes,

1:29:53 one point every[ __] time.

1:29:54 Every[ __] time.

1:29:56 No, no judges discretion.

1:29:58 No, you know, no referee's discretion.

1:30:00 Poke in the eye.

1:30:01 Ow.

1:30:01 One point.

1:30:02 Did Did you ever ask Dana about the pride gloves?

1:30:05 What happened to him?

1:30:06 I did.

1:30:07 Um, you know, I don't

1:30:08 They should have owned that.

1:30:09 I don't remember the tech, right?

1:30:10 That's good.

1:30:11 The best stuff is Trevor Whitman, right?

1:30:13 Just pay the man a little bit of money.

1:30:15 I was trying to broker something and I might still be able

1:30:17 to do that to try to figure out a way to just like th those gloves are perfect.

1:30:23 The knuckles curve over.

1:30:24 Your hands are in this position.

1:30:26 It does not impede your grappling.

1:30:27 It's easy to do that if you want to, but the natural position is like this.

1:30:31 So, if you're doing this, it's because you wanted to do that.

1:30:35 It's not like the gloves are forcing your hand

1:30:36 open like a lot of people complain about now.

1:30:40 Mad scientist.

1:30:41 Here's the mad scientist.

1:30:42 Cover the tips of the fingers.

1:30:43 You don't use them anyway.

1:30:46 True.

1:30:45 Nobody does this, right?

1:30:46 So, if you don't if you're always grappling like this, right?

1:30:49 So, cover it with like a mitten.

1:30:51 Yeah.

1:30:51 Little mittens.

1:30:52 like a leather [laughter] with a leather top like a nice little

1:30:56 so it's your thumbs are free so you

1:30:58 still have some potential eye pokes from thumbs

1:31:01 but that mitigates a lot of it that mitigates a lot of it and you

1:31:05 completely stop all this stuff cuz now you have a solid thing that hits it's not

1:31:09 going to go knuckle deep and one finger goes in one finger's on your eyebrows

1:31:13 and it's just[ __] digging in that's crazy

1:31:16 that would all stop if you had a mitten

1:31:19 well I mean there's not a lot of eye pokes in bare knuckle Right.

1:31:23 Right.

1:31:23 That is interesting.

1:31:25 And it's because they're always like this.

1:31:27 Yeah.

1:31:27 Cuz they're not.

1:31:28 So it's just these guys they get in there and they're just like

1:31:32 Yeah.

1:31:31 So the way to stop it really I mean it's

1:31:33 take up way points and guys will be like this more.

1:31:37 Yeah.

1:31:36 Well, I wonder if there would be less eye pokes in just if you just think about

1:31:42 uh MMA with gloves on if it was if

1:31:45 it was just boxing and no kicking and takedowns.

1:31:48 Maybe it's like all the different possibilities of things.

1:31:51 That's what it is.

1:31:51 Like it's like they're trying to like avoid

1:31:53 the take down and like and blocking kicks.

1:31:56 Yeah.

1:31:56 Yeah.

1:31:56 Everything.

1:31:57 So that's why you're doing this cuz like Muay Thai guys do this all the time.

1:32:01 Boxing guys very rarely do that.

1:32:03 No.

1:32:03 Very rarely.

1:32:04 Unless they're showing off and they're about to hit you with a big right hand.

1:32:07 Bang.

1:32:07 [clears throat] Like Deontay Wilder.

1:32:09 Yeah.

1:32:09 He'll he'll be

1:32:10 Yeah.

1:32:10 Old school Deontay Wild would literally like hold his fist in front

1:32:13 of your face and then wing one wing a nuclear bomb at your head.

1:32:18 I think you just got to discourage guys to close your hands.

1:32:20 Cover the fingers.

1:32:21 Is he fighting Joshua?

1:32:22 Cover cover.

1:32:24 I don't know.

1:32:26 I don't know.

1:32:26 I thought I heard something about that.

1:32:28 That's a tough fight.

1:32:29 He's too skinny for that.

1:32:31 At this point,

1:32:31 he looked good in the Chisora fight in moments.

1:32:33 There was moments he said,

1:32:35 "I love you." And then Chisora said, "I love you, too." And then he hit him.

1:32:38 Knocked him out of the [laughter] ring.

1:32:39 Jesus.

1:32:41 Deonte said he he backed off on him because he saw he

1:32:43 was hurt and he wanted him to go home to his family.

1:32:45 I love you, too.

1:32:46 And he[ __] Deontay did Iaska and I think a lot of times when

1:32:51 a a straight up assassin like Deontay Wilder meets God

1:32:56 probably takes a lot of that mean out of your heart.

1:32:59 You need a little of that mean to land those haymakers.

1:33:01 [laughter] You got to be angry.

1:33:03 True.

1:33:03 Yeah.

1:33:03 You don't want to be half a hippie when you're going in there.

1:33:06 Definitely.

1:33:06 You want to talk about one punch power though?

1:33:09 That guy might be the greatest of all time.

1:33:12 Deontay he was like pretty damn close.

1:33:14 48 knockouts in 49 fights.

1:33:18 He was Yeah, he was[ __] people up in one decision

1:33:20 and and [laughter] he's was not a great technical boxer.

1:33:24 He started late in life.

1:33:25 That right hand just was[ __] Thor's hammer was dropping on people's heads.

1:33:30 Teddy Alice always calls it the eraser.

1:33:32 Any mistakes you make, that right hand erases them all.

1:33:35 I always wanted to see him fight uh Enano.

1:33:38 That would have been wild.

1:33:39 That should have been the fight.

1:33:40 That would have been the fight to make.

1:33:41 Him and would have been the fight to make.

1:33:42 them two bombing at each other.

1:33:44 Yeah, they could actually still do that.

1:33:45 Why not?

1:33:46 They could still do that.

1:33:47 Like Enano, if you want to look at it from a business standpoint,

1:33:50 man, that guy's killed it, right?

1:33:52 Went over, got that crazy contract with the PFL.

1:33:54 He got a chance to fight Tyson Fury, knocks him down,

1:33:58 becomes a legend, then gets a big money fight with Anthony Joshua.

1:34:02 That doesn't go so good.

1:34:03 And then he has the his reintroduction to MMA.

1:34:06 He he fights that dude Hannon,

1:34:08 right?

1:34:08 The 68.

1:34:09 [clears throat] takes him down, smashes him, beats him down.

1:34:13 So, he made what?

1:34:14 20 million in that fight.

1:34:15 Something crazy like that.

1:34:16 He had a crazy contract, right?

1:34:18 Yeah.

1:34:18 And he had a contract where his opponent had to make at least 2 million.

1:34:22 Who does that?

1:34:24 Yeah.

1:34:23 How do you not love the guy?

1:34:24 How do you not love that, right?

1:34:26 He he puts it into his opponent must make at least $2 million.

1:34:31 Yeah.

1:34:32 I don't know.

1:34:32 And now And now he's got to be making a lot for this Netflix

1:34:36 Netflix thing.

1:34:36 They got to pay him because they need legit names.

1:34:38 Yeah.

1:34:38 And You know, Felipe Lind, he fought at light heavyweight in UFC, right?

1:34:44 Yeah.

1:34:44 Yep.

1:34:46 Yeah.

1:34:45 I I worked with him a bit at Top Team and I mean,

1:34:47 I just This is a big moment for him.

1:34:49 It's all I can say.

1:34:50 Like, I don't know how he's going to do.

1:34:52 It's a big moment for him.

1:34:54 Yeah.

1:34:54 I'm happy Nate is making that money.

1:34:56 Mike Perry, too.

1:34:57 I'm happy for them.

1:34:58 Yeah.

1:34:58 I heard those guys are getting paid.

1:34:59 It's nice because this is this is a thing

1:35:02 where if a fighter is in contract negotiations,

1:35:06 they have their last fight on the contract and they decide

1:35:08 not to fight or not to sign until after the fight.

1:35:12 They do make that decision which legally they can do, right?

1:35:15 Then all of a sudden Netflix is calling.

1:35:17 Yeah.

1:35:18 Yeah.

1:35:18 [laughter]

1:35:19 Especially if you win big.

1:35:20 You win big stunning knockout and then you know

1:35:23 you come over to Netflix and make what 12

1:35:26 a fight that's nuts and that forces everybody

1:35:29 forces everybody's hand that's what business is supposed to do

1:35:32 that's how it's supposed to operate it's good that's

1:35:34 what's good for the fighters that's the most important

1:35:36 thing without the fighters but that's just like that's

1:35:40 why I'm hoping that this Netflix thing can be sustainable I hope so too

1:35:43 yeah because like if they just do a oneoff I was like

1:35:46 again I'm a terrible businessman I'm terrible at it Yeah, me too.

1:35:51 But just give the money to the fighters.

1:35:53 They they they're the ones who fight,

1:35:56 right?

1:35:56 Without that, you got nothing, right?

1:35:58 Everybody's making plenty of money.

1:36:00 Yeah.

1:36:00 Come on.

1:36:01 It's going to be big though, for sure.

1:36:03 This thing, everybody's going to watch it, I think.

1:36:05 100%.

1:36:06 It'll be huge cuz it's Everybody has Netflix.

1:36:08 They're going to watch it.

1:36:09 It's going to be crazy.

1:36:11 Ronda could become a superstar again.

1:36:13 Well, she's already a superstar, but I mean, if she wins again,

1:36:15 then people start talking about like maybe Ronda's gonna come back

1:36:18 to the UFC and then maybe Ron is like a WWE moment.

1:36:21 Ronda and Dana shake hands on a stage

1:36:23 with like Erica Kirk fireworks going off behind them [laughter]

1:36:29 and Drew Ski Rhonda and Kayla Harrison White House lawn number two next summer.

1:36:35 Oh, [laughter]

1:36:37 I don't I don't think she would do well in the UFC, but this is great for her.

1:36:40 She's done with the WWE and all that stuff.

1:36:43 Yeah, I bet it's probably hard for a I mean, she probably enjoyed the job.

1:36:47 It was a great job.

1:36:49 Made her a lot of money,

1:36:50 but it's probably hard for an elite competitor to do these stage things.

1:36:54 I mean, she's an elite competitor

1:36:56 cuz like instinctively she just wants to do compete

1:37:01 100%.

1:37:00 She doesn't want to fake compete.

1:37:02 I mean, some guys did it right.

1:37:03 Kurt Angle turned out to be a real good pro wrestler,

1:37:06 you know, despite being gold medalist.

1:37:08 Listen, it's a great gig, don't get me wrong,

1:37:11 but I'm saying for someone who still can fight.

1:37:14 Your angle was done at at that point when he went to pro wrestling.

1:37:17 I went to

1:37:18 won the Olympics with a broken neck.

1:37:20 She's a savage.

1:37:21 I just went to the uh the the headquarters in Connecticut.

1:37:24 It's pretty if I saw Stephanie McMahon's uh podcast.

1:37:29 She's very nice.

1:37:30 Stephanie McMahon.

1:37:31 And uh I seen that whole[ __] place.

1:37:34 If you're into WWE, it's like a[ __] nerdm.

1:37:37 I'm not really into it,

1:37:39 bro.

1:37:39 Tony St.

1:37:40 with Cream Pants.

1:37:40 Oh my god.

1:37:42 Cream [laughter] pants.

1:37:42 He's already been there, I'm sure.

1:37:44 Oh yeah, he would.

1:37:45 He's working with them now, is he?

1:37:47 Oh yeah.

1:37:47 Yeah, he's doing stuff with the WWE.

1:37:50 Is he writing for him or he's going to be in some shows?

1:37:53 He's going to be a bad guy doing some things.

1:37:56 He should be He should be like a manager.

1:37:58 Happy.

1:37:59 He's so happy.

1:38:00 That's great.

1:38:00 I don't know how much I could talk about this.

1:38:02 I have to be quiet.

1:38:03 I don't know how much this is public,

1:38:04 but they're doing they've already they're already announcing they're doing some

1:38:07 stuff with Kill Tony and he's going to roast like WWE people.

1:38:11 They're going to do some stuff like that.

1:38:13 They're they're doing a lot of collaborations together.

1:38:15 It's perfect.

1:38:16 That guy's a giant wrestling fan.

1:38:18 He loves it.

1:38:18 Yeah.

1:38:19 The guys that love it love it.

1:38:20 He[ __] loves it.

1:38:21 And he's the best roster, too, man.

1:38:23 When I be seeing him at the fights, I don't say[ __] I'm like, "Yo,

1:38:27 I don't want him coming at me." [laughter] He had Dana's back.

1:38:30 That's my boy.

1:38:32 Yeah.

1:38:31 He had Dana's back for the[ __] time.

1:38:33 We had to do that that thing at the laugh factory.

1:38:35 Oh yeah.

1:38:36 Yeah.

1:38:36 Damn.

1:38:37 We're going to do this thing and uh nobody's coming in prepared.

1:38:40 But he had Tony Hinliff [laughter] like two months prior.

1:38:46 That's hilarious.

1:38:47 Yeah.

1:38:48 Tony's the best at that[ __]

1:38:50 He's the best at cracking people, cracking on people, and cutting people.

1:38:53 But the people that love that that soap opera like world of the WWE, it's

1:38:59 I don't hate on it.

1:39:00 I I see how much they love it.

1:39:02 It keeps you entertained, man.

1:39:03 They like it.

1:39:04 You know what I mean?

1:39:05 They're really smart at mixing things up and bringing

1:39:08 in new characters and having new crazy moments.

1:39:10 And if you're a nerd like Tony, like [laughter] they go nuts,

1:39:15 it's like you you're it's like the same escape.

1:39:18 It's like a male it's a male soap opera.

1:39:20 Yeah.

1:39:20 But it's like the same kind of escape

1:39:21 that you get if you're watching Game of Thrones.

1:39:22 It's just an escape.

1:39:23 This is silly.

1:39:25 This is crazy.

1:39:26 Oh my god, he's back from the dead.

1:39:29 [laughter] See, I But that's where I draw the line.

1:39:32 I just I can't do it, man.

1:39:33 I draw the line there.

1:39:34 I can't do that.

1:39:35 And I ain't got I ain't got no be I ain't got no problem with it.

1:39:38 I just can't do it.

1:39:38 I'm in the same camp as you.

1:39:40 It's not my thing.

1:39:40 I don't watch it, but I respect it.

1:39:42 I respect how hard it is to do.

1:39:45 Yeah.

1:39:45 Oh, yeah.

1:39:45 It's[ __]

1:39:46 very difficult to do.

1:39:47 Remember remember Matt, we wrestled at uh in Memphis.

1:39:50 Yeah, we did a little thing in the street.

1:39:52 We had But we were just winging it.

1:39:54 [laughter] I was hoping you just let me get a submission.

1:39:57 Will you fight me off?

1:39:58 Come on, man.

1:39:59 Let me I hurt my knee.

1:40:01 It was tough, man.

1:40:02 I ain't I was like, damn, this is harder than I thought.

1:40:04 Oh, them guys take a beating for sure.

1:40:06 You can learn how to fall, but you're still falling.

1:40:09 Yeah, I met Hulk Hogan twice.

1:40:10 Well, I met him before when he did a promo with me with the UFC.

1:40:13 It was when uh we were on I think we were on Spike back then.

1:40:19 Yeah.

1:40:18 But uh I met him a long time ago and he's like he was 6'5.

1:40:21 He's this giant[ __] dude.

1:40:23 I was like holy[ __] It's Hulk Hogan.

1:40:25 And then I saw him the last time he did my podcast and he's like 4

1:40:28 in shorter and it's all from getting all

1:40:31 of his spine fused about the same height now.

1:40:34 I'm like wait a minute [laughter] here in He was like

1:40:37 a big guy still but he was he used to be a giant.

1:40:39 He was like this towering[ __] crazy guy.

1:40:42 bald hand lips.

1:40:43 He was so fun.

1:40:44 That dude was so fun.

1:40:46 But uh he that's how many back surgeries he had.

1:40:48 And he said it was all from that move that he had where he dropped down,

1:40:53 you know, and then the big seat drop.

1:40:55 Exactly.

1:40:55 So the seat drop every time he does that, he's compressing his discs.

1:40:59 300 300 plus.

1:41:00 Yeah.

1:41:01 300[ __] dropping down every night and just blowing his back out.

1:41:05 His back was just destroyed.

1:41:08 Destroyed.

1:41:08 Every every vertebrae destroyed.

1:41:11 Every disc blown apart, herniations all throughout it.

1:41:15 Barely could walk.

1:41:16 I was watching The Princess Bride the other day with[ __] Andre the Giant.

1:41:20 What a great Anybody want a peanut?

1:41:22 Yeah, he's[ __] great.

1:41:23 My name is Diego Montoya.

1:41:25 Love that.

1:41:26 You killed my father.

1:41:27 Better die.

1:41:27 [laughter] Such a great such a great movie.

1:41:31 Great movie.

1:41:32 Great movie.

1:41:33 Yeah, I put that on for the family.

1:41:35 Have the kids watch it.

1:41:36 It's a classic.

1:41:38 Yeah, that's one the that lasts ages.

1:41:41 It goes through generations.

1:41:42 Look at that[ __]

1:41:43 Yeah.

1:41:43 Yeah, it holds up.

1:41:45 __] love it.

1:41:46 You know,

1:41:48 they don't make them like that anymore.

1:41:49 I just saw that project Hail Mary.

1:41:51 That's a nice one for the family.

1:41:52 What is that?

1:41:53 It's with Ryan Goslin goes to space and[ __]

1:41:56 has to save the world type of thing.

1:41:58 But, uh, you know, it's more than

1:42:00 that, but that's pretty much the it the premise.

1:42:03 Where are these Aremis people at now?

1:42:05 Are they Are they passing the moon yet?

1:42:07 They already did.

1:42:08 They they passed it.

1:42:09 What happened?

1:42:10 So they when did they did they land yet?

1:42:11 Are they back yet?

1:42:13 And where are they?

1:42:14 Uh it should be probably back in the next day or two.

1:42:16 Who's going where?

1:42:17 They went around the moon.

1:42:18 They went all the way around the moon.

1:42:20 All the way around the moon.

1:42:20 No.

1:42:21 No.

1:42:21 They just went around.

1:42:22 They just went around and saw the dark side of the moon.

1:42:24 Yeah, they took photos of the dark side.

1:42:26 Oh, really?

1:42:29 Yeah.

1:42:27 They crashed on Friday.

1:42:29 Uh splash.

1:42:31 Splash on Friday.

1:42:31 I was getting ready to say what?

1:42:32 They crash.

1:42:33 [laughter] So they land tomorrow.

1:42:35 Wow.

1:42:35 So they um so the the dark side of the moon is only dark when the moon's not.

1:42:41 It's not dark like the sun still hits it the same

1:42:44 amount the sun hits the light side of the moon.

1:42:46 Is that true?

1:42:47 Yes.

1:42:47 It's the way the I used to think I'm a[ __] I used to think

1:42:51 that the the reason why we only see one

1:42:53 side of the moon is because the moon doesn't spin.

1:42:56 That's what I thought.

1:42:57 No, no, no.

1:42:57 The moon not only spins around us, but it rotates.

1:43:00 But when we see it, it the only time we see the moon during a full moon

1:43:04 or a quarter moon or whatever it is is when

1:43:06 the sun is hitting the side that's always facing us.

1:43:11 Right.

1:43:10 So when when it goes the other way.

1:43:13 Gotcha.

1:43:13 That there's a different side that's facing us,

1:43:14 but we don't ever get to see it because it's dark.

1:43:17 Right.

1:43:17 That's what it is.

1:43:19 But so they took pictures of the other side.

1:43:22 Exactly.

1:43:22 Yeah.

1:43:22 And there's aliens everywhere.

1:43:23 I was about to say Yeah.

1:43:24 I was say what's what's on the other side on the other side?

1:43:28 What's on the other side?

1:43:29 And in that in that movie, he finds an alien.

1:43:31 By the way, he does.

1:43:32 This is not really a spoiler.

1:43:33 It's in the in the trailers.

1:43:35 I had that guy Bob Lazar on again recently.

1:43:38 I You want to see a great documentary that it's fun.

1:43:41 Uh the first I would say Jeremy Corbell's documentary,

1:43:45 which is Area 51, Bob Lazar, and Flying Saucer.

1:43:48 Is that what it's called?

1:43:49 Bob Lazar, Area 51, and Flying Saucers.

1:43:52 So this guy was a back he was an engineer

1:43:54 and he was hired to uh work on these spacecrafts

1:43:59 that he didn't know what the[ __] they were and they

1:44:01 told him like try to figure out this propulsion system.

1:44:04 They brought him into this hanger and this is in like 1988

1:44:07 and it's a flying saucer that looks exactly like that thing on the desk.

1:44:12 Jesus.

1:44:11 And it has an American flag sticker on it.

1:44:13 And so he's like oh it must be ours.

1:44:15 Like and then he gets in it and he's like what the[ __] is this?

1:44:18 It's made for people that are 3 feet tall.

1:44:21 There's no controls, no buttons, nothing.

1:44:23 Why are you looking at me,[ __] Why?

1:44:26 You're the only guy that can [laughter] ft tall.

1:44:28 You look right at me, you son of a[ __] [screaming]

1:44:33 But he's got a new one out called S4.

1:44:35 I I recommend it to anybody.

1:44:36 It's a They did like CGI and they daged.

1:44:39 Is

1:44:39 it on Netflix or YouTube?

1:44:40 No, it's on Amazon.

1:44:42 Amazon, some some other places.

1:44:43 But

1:44:43 what's it called again?

1:44:46 S4.

1:44:45 S4.

1:44:46 I just saw uh I was just watching a series with you on that Ancient Apocalypse.

1:44:50 Was I on that?

1:44:51 Yeah, you was in that with uh Oh, with Graham Hancock.

1:44:53 That's right.

1:44:54 Yeah, Graham, my man.

1:44:55 Do you know uh Hrio Gracie?

1:44:59 Yeah.

1:44:58 A good buddy of mine.

1:44:59 Uh my uh my old roommate.

1:45:04 He He's a[ __] wacky guy.

1:45:06 He's[ __] [laughter] funny.

1:45:07 Funny as[ __]

1:45:08 So, you know, we were just out to eat last night with Danaher.

1:45:12 We were talking about him.

1:45:13 God, I love that guy.

1:45:13 And he's like, "Oh, he's great." and he said, "Oh,

1:45:15 I'm glad that Hadriico's matured." I was talking about how to he's doing good.

1:45:19 He just visited me.

1:45:19 He did my podcast and he did a a seminar at my place.

1:45:23 So, you know, I I was catching up with him.

1:45:24 So, he told me he was visiting Area 51 with his wife and he goes,

1:45:29 "So, yeah, you know,

1:45:29 I always wanted to go there." So, me and Fernando,

1:45:32 we drove down there and no, nothing was happening.

1:45:35 So, then I'm driving back.

1:45:36 You got to drive back hours through like the dark desert, right?

1:45:39 So, he's driving back and he goes,

1:45:42 "Fernando fell asleep." So, I had my laser pointer.

1:45:45 So, I'm just pointing at a sign, pointing at this.

1:45:48 He goes, "Matt." And then I saw blue lights in the distance.

1:45:53 He goes, "Oh, I could I want to make contact." He goes, "What?" He goes,

1:45:56 "She was sleeping." So, I started taking my laser pen and pointing at it.

1:46:02 He goes, "And I didn't think nothing of it." And then all of a sudden I'm

1:46:06 driving and I hear and a a yellow

1:46:13 circle around my car and I wake up Fernandanda.

1:46:17 She's like, "WHAT DID YOU DO?" AND HE'S LIKE,

1:46:19 "I [laughter] JUST took my laser pen.

1:46:21 It was a helicopter[ __] following him." Like just And he goes,

1:46:25 he goes, "It was getting down to like almost my roof.

1:46:28 I didn't know what to do.

1:46:29 They had a yellow spot around my[ __] car."

1:46:32 So I she told me I we called the police.

1:46:35 So we they you know they go look there's a there's

1:46:37 a helicopter following us and they go is are you

1:46:40 in a they said the car the everything they go

1:46:43 the authorities are waiting for you at the rest stop up whatever.

1:46:47 So he goes to the rest stop takes his laser

1:46:50 pointer he gets there throws it in the garbage.

1:46:53 I don't know why.

1:46:54 And then he comes out they they're like look they they

1:46:57 they put him in cuffs and he goes to his his wife.

1:46:59 He goes go in there and get the laser pen.

1:47:01 It's in the bathroom.

1:47:02 He She goes in the men's room through the garbage, finds it.

1:47:05 So, they're saying, "All right,

1:47:06 you were you were shooting interfering with um

1:47:10 a military helicopter or whatever it is." Like, in other words, it's a major

1:47:15 Yeah.

1:47:14 crime here that he could be facing.

1:47:16 He goes, "Mad." He goes, "I was[ __] myself." The two pilots come over,

1:47:22 one of them takes off the helmet.

1:47:24 Cauliflower is.

1:47:25 He goes, "Fucking thank you.

1:47:26 He trained under my cousin." He goes, "The guy's [laughter] bow." He goes,

1:47:29 "The guy's bowing to me." He goes, He goes,

1:47:31 "My wife's yelling at me." So he got out of it.

1:47:33 The guy trained under He's a brown belt with the[ __] God.

1:47:36 How lucky.

1:47:37 That's so lucky.

1:47:37 [laughter] I don't[ __] man.

1:47:40 Only you, bro.

1:47:41 That's so l Yeah, they probably thought

1:47:43 they were trying to like[ __] with planes

1:47:45 cuz [snorts] kids do that.

1:47:46 They They shine laser beams at planes.

1:47:48 It's like a real problem.

1:47:49 [laughter] Is it?

1:47:50 They get in their eyes while they're[ __] flying the planes.

1:47:53 The lasers go all the way up to a plane.

1:47:55 I used to be with Higo on on 27th Street.

1:47:58 He's like, "Dad, watch this." We'd be out the window,

1:48:01 guys walking down the street[ __] he's like,

1:48:04 "Ah, look at HIM JUMP OFF THE COVER.

1:48:05 [laughter] LOOK AT THIS.

1:48:07 YOU'RE GOING to hell.

1:48:08 What are you doing?

1:48:09 __] whites and still getting them in trouble." [snorts]

1:48:13 That's so ridiculous.

1:48:15 A lot of people would think it's a laser sight on a rifle.

1:48:19 Take that down.

1:48:20 Don't do that.

1:48:21 [laughter] Don't do that around here.

1:48:23 He thought he thought he was making contact.

1:48:25 He's making contact.

1:48:26 He's got [laughter] a chopper.

1:48:28 Yeah, they keep talking about making contact.

1:48:30 I'm tired of hearing about it.

1:48:31 Let's do it already.

1:48:32 God damn it.

1:48:33 Yeah, I want to see it.

1:48:35 Yeah, they're just dick teasing us.

1:48:37 Yeah.

1:48:37 __] I don't think that.

1:48:40 But you're a sci-fi guy.

1:48:41 Oh man.

1:48:48 When I get home too,

1:48:49 like if if it's like late at night when I'm home and I'm

1:48:52 by myself watching[ __] I don't want to watch anything like that.

1:49:12 Now they got the Dune Messiah.

1:49:14 Mimoa was in it.

1:49:15 Yeah, they got [laughter] a third one coming out, right?

1:49:17 Yep.

1:49:17 Third one coming out.

1:49:18 And this guy can't miss this.

1:49:22 They are good.

1:49:23 No, they're very good.

1:49:23 I tried to watch it.

1:49:26 You know what?

1:49:26 I You get that.

1:49:27 Just get that.

1:49:52 I see.

1:49:52 No, no.

1:49:53 I I did that because of my new job.

1:49:55 But Paramount, [laughter]

1:49:57 I'll tell you right now,

1:49:57 you almost gave me a heart attack when you reach for that[ __] bill.

1:50:01 Yeah.

1:50:00 Is this a movie that you put together?

1:50:03 Yeah.

1:50:03 Yeah.

1:50:03 Which wasn't produced.

1:50:10 Look at you, Mr.

1:50:11 Sensitive.

1:50:11 There it is.

1:50:13 Flowers.

1:50:13 Oh, boy.

1:50:14 No[ __] The multi-talented.

1:50:17 Yeah.

1:50:17 You know, nothing to do with cage fighting at all.

1:50:19 Look at that Thomas.

1:50:21 That's incredible, dude.

1:50:22 Congratulations.

1:50:23 That's awesome.

1:50:24 Yeah.

1:50:24 I'm g start shopping at the film festivals.

1:50:26 Yeah.

1:50:26 Next week.

1:50:26 So,

1:50:27 that's awesome, dude.

1:50:28 That's awesome.

1:50:28 [snorts] Yeah.

1:50:30 I like when people spread their wings.

1:50:31 You got to like, you know,

1:50:33 life is short and you don't want to be in a box, you know?

1:50:35 You want to be able to do all kind of different things

1:50:37 and you can do whatever the[ __] you want.

1:50:38 You can do whatever the[ __] you want.

1:50:39 Yeah.

1:50:41 Yeah.

1:50:40 So, I try to do whatever the[ __] I want.

1:50:43 I'm telling you, that's how to live.

1:50:45 Yeah.

1:50:45 That's how to live.

1:50:46 There's too many people out there not doing what they want to do.

1:50:49 That's a hell.

1:50:49 It makes me sad actually.

1:50:51 It

1:50:51 It's a sad existence.

1:50:53 Yeah.

1:50:53 You know, and a lot of people are doing it cuz like you got

1:50:55 to take care of your family and I get it and I respect it.

1:50:57 Maybe have a good time at work.

1:50:58 That's great.

1:50:59 But if there's a thing you want to do while you're still breathing, I know.

1:51:03 Do you do it?

1:51:04 You should try.

1:51:05 At least try it.

1:51:06 Get it out of your head.

1:51:07 I feel so fortunate when I[ __] have my day today.

1:51:11 You know what I mean?

1:51:12 Cuz I'm not like Thomas.

1:51:13 I don't want to do[ __] [laughter]

1:51:14 You got He's got another job every other week.

1:51:17 He does.

1:51:17 And he's asking how I'm doing.

1:51:19 And I'm like, dude, my school,

1:51:22 Talio's Pizzeria, [laughter] no promate, no bleach,

1:51:26 and and my pod my podcast I'm having fun with and UFC unfiltered.

1:51:30 Dude, it's just such a perfect little thing for me.

1:51:32 I don't want to do anything else.

1:51:35 Beautiful.

1:51:34 It's so much fun.

1:51:35 That's the There's a lot of power in saying no.

1:51:40 Oh, you know, saying no to things.

1:51:40 I don't want to do anything more.

1:51:41 Like, just enjoy what you're doing.

1:51:44 You don't have to keep piling on.

1:51:45 But the thing is once things start going good, you start saying,

1:51:49 "Bo, I better not say no to nothing." No, just keep saying yes.

1:51:52 Offer me that.

1:51:53 I should do that.

1:51:54 I'll find the time.

1:51:55 But once but once you get to the point where you can say no,

1:51:58 that's a great place to be.

1:51:59 Oh, that's the best place.

1:52:00 Is your heart in it or not?

1:52:01 Do you want to do that?

1:52:02 Like

1:52:02 Exactly.

1:52:03 Exactly.

1:52:03 Shoot, man.

1:52:05 The dayto-day your day-to-day life.

1:52:06 That's what I love about Longo.

1:52:07 Longo's, you know, [snorts] it's funny.

1:52:09 He's holding for my daughter now, which is so great.

1:52:10 She had her first kickboxing match one, I told you.

1:52:13 But like it

1:52:14 send us the pictures in the group chat.

1:52:16 It's amazing.

1:52:17 But such a proud moment.

1:52:19 Oh, so proud.

1:52:19 And it's so it's just so cool, man.

1:52:21 When I see him holding for like he doesn't have like you know

1:52:24 he just that guy just is doing he's just doing the same thing.

1:52:27 You and him some Paramount was smart.

1:52:31 They would do a[ __] a whole series of you and him traveling to fights,

1:52:37 working with people, hanging out and cornering each other.

1:52:39 You guys in the corner are so It's[ __] I'm like keep the camera on Sarah.

1:52:43 Ain't [laughter] that the truth?

1:52:44 It's the truth.

1:52:45 We always talk about it in the commentary.

1:52:47 Like it's[ __] awesome watching you guys in a corner.

1:52:50 Good technical advice, but it's just fun.

1:52:52 You guys are fun together.

1:52:54 Just on a on an amateur card.

1:52:55 We just got brought back together for one of my fighters, Adrian.

1:52:58 This this little young uh Filipino guy.

1:52:59 He's good kid.

1:53:00 Nurse.

1:53:01 He's a nurse.

1:53:02 Always smiling.

1:53:03 They're all nurses.

1:53:04 He went in.

1:53:05 [laughter] My wife's a nurse.

1:53:07 Filipino.

1:53:08 But uh he went in there and he's just like I just have

1:53:11 just my one wish is to have you and Ray and Mike Corn.

1:53:13 He's such a nice kid.

1:53:14 So we went in there.

1:53:15 We cornered him.

1:53:15 We didn't have to work the corner though.

1:53:16 The first round he flatlined this guy.

1:53:18 Nice.

1:53:18 [laughter] Oh man.

1:53:20 So yeah, man.

1:53:21 You guys are great on your podcast.

1:53:22 You guys are great on your podcast together too.

1:53:25 You got a good chemistry.

1:53:26 You got a crazy friendship.

1:53:28 It's perfect.

1:53:29 It's like the banter is hilarious.

1:53:31 The two of you guys, you compliment each other perfectly.

1:53:34 It would be a great show.

1:53:35 I'm telling you.

1:53:35 We going to do something soon before the first episode

1:53:38 is me and the guys taking Longo to a home.

1:53:39 He's not getting any younger.

1:53:40 [laughter] Hey guys, field trip.

1:53:42 Longo, where are we going?

1:53:44 Don't let him talk to you like that.

1:53:45 Ray, [laughter] I'm in your corner.

1:53:47 Ray, we[ __] road trip to the[ __] home.

1:53:50 Longo.

1:53:51 No, not longo.

1:53:54 He's[ __]

1:53:55 Oh my god.

1:53:57 What do you think of um Gilbert Burns verse Mike Malot?

1:54:03 is Gilbert's lost four in a row, but he did it to all killers.

1:54:07 Yeah.

1:54:06 You know what I mean?

1:54:07 Mal's tough guy getting better.

1:54:09 Only lost once to Neil Magny in a fight that he was

1:54:11 doing great in, but then he got Neil Magny cuz that guy's[ __] never gets tired.

1:54:16 Never gets tired.

1:54:16 Never disciplined.

1:54:18 Always in shape.

1:54:19 He rided the ship since then.

1:54:20 And uh that kid's like the next captain Canada.

1:54:23 He's doing people they make an unfair comparison like,

1:54:26 "Oh, you're the next George." That type of thing.

1:54:28 But he's his own fighter.

1:54:29 He's got a a great skill set, good head on his shoulders, a family of studs.

1:54:34 His brother's like an ice hockey[ __]

1:54:35 It's a good test for him, Gilbert at this stage of his career, you know.

1:54:39 Yeah.

1:54:39 See if he still got it.

1:54:41 Yeah.

1:54:40 You know, he's the first guy to make com look human.

1:54:43 But when Morales did that to Gilbert, I was like, Jesus Christ,

1:54:47 Morales is terrifying.

1:54:49 He looks so big.

1:54:49 It doesn't make any sense.

1:54:51 I know.

1:54:51 He doesn't make any sense.

1:54:53 So when we I was with Brady when Brady got beat by him and

1:54:57 at the way and he looked okay, right?

1:54:58 Like you know a guy he's 170 pounds.

1:55:01 Then the next day we he steps into the cage

1:55:03 and we're just looking like oh my god massive massive.

1:55:08 Yeah.

1:55:08 And when you're that much taller that the and you're you're the better striker.

1:55:14 God.

1:55:14 Yeah.

1:55:14 It's a huge advantage.

1:55:14 Like you just cuz you can stand six feet away

1:55:17 from a guy and just be like Ogari last week.

1:55:21 Oh my god.

1:55:22 Man, what are we talking about?

1:55:23 Yeah, like I know man sore what he trained at with a ground control as a kid

1:55:28 and uh before he went off to college and all and I mean the only thing I can

1:55:32 say first off obviously he was not ready

1:55:34 for him yet but uh he definitely showed a lot

1:55:37 of heart cuz he[ __] stayed in there

1:55:38 and took I was thinking the exact same thing.

1:55:42 I hope he comes back.

1:55:43 I mean that was I I personally knowing him I felt horrible watching that.

1:55:46 I was like

1:55:47 he wasn't ready for that yet.

1:55:49 There's just when you get an elite striker,

1:55:51 you got to realize that guy beat Pereira in glory.

1:55:55 Yeah.

1:55:54 Pereira knocked him out twice after

1:55:56 that, but in the first fight, he beat Pereira.

1:55:58 I think people looked uh like ordinary in his first couple.

1:56:03 Like he came out with a new version and it was[ __] impressive.

1:56:06 He's[ __] good.

1:56:07 And he's training with Pereira now.

1:56:08 So he's at Glover Glover.

1:56:10 Yeah.

1:56:10 You know, that's a great[ __] camp.

1:56:13 And Glover has so much knowledge.

1:56:15 Yeah.

1:56:16 He's That guy was in the dark for six years where he couldn't get into America.

1:56:20 And during those six years, he was the boogeyman.

1:56:22 Everybody talked about Glover.

1:56:23 They're like, "There's a guy that's in Brazil.

1:56:25 He can't get to America, but if that guy gets here,

1:56:27 he's[ __] everybody up." And that was Glover.

1:56:30 Glover was a He was always training with Truck Chuck in um in SLO.

1:56:36 And they're in Danbury, Connecticut.

1:56:38 That's And that's They're not They're not in Vegas.

1:56:42 They're not out.

1:56:43 So, you know,

1:56:44 ain't[ __] to do out there.

1:56:45 And all they doing is training.

1:56:47 Yeah.

1:56:47 Yeah, dude.

1:56:47 Just nothing but Lyme disease in the woods, right?

1:56:49 [laughter] And federal prison in Danberry.

1:56:52 Yeah.

1:56:52 Yeah.

1:56:52 Connecticut is it's a good place to just not get distracted.

1:56:57 Just get to work.

1:56:58 Danberry is where uh Hadrigo Gracie broke my elbow.

1:57:01 I was there.

1:57:01 Yeah, you was there.

1:57:03 I was there.

1:57:03 I didn't know you was there.

1:57:04 I You know I was there.

1:57:06 Yeah.

1:57:07 Damn.

1:57:07 Did you have to get pins in it?

1:57:09 No, they they I mean they set reset it, cast it, no pins.

1:57:12 He told that story at the seminar.

1:57:14 Oh, he did.

1:57:15 Yeah, cuz [laughter] I had to bring that up, man.

1:57:17 I was like 25 years ago.

1:57:19 He said

1:57:20 because we weren't close at the time

1:57:22 and I was yelling[ __] But I I regret that, too.

1:57:25 [laughter]

1:57:26 Wait a minute.

1:57:27 What did you yell?

1:57:28 Well, he he cuz he let it go.

1:57:31 He let it go

1:57:33 and you didn't tap.

1:57:34 Well, yeah.

1:57:35 And Right.

1:57:35 Which was great.

1:57:37 And then I was yelling at him for for letting it go,

1:57:39 which I [laughter] was just psychotic cuz you're my friend now.

1:57:42 At the time it was just

1:57:44 Well, to be fair, like if I knew it was going to break, I would have tapped.

1:57:47 Yeah.

1:57:47 I didn't know it was going to break, right?

1:57:50 Yeah.

1:57:50 Yeah.

1:57:50 That's what the story he told.

1:57:51 Then he then he said that Henzel yelled at him too after that for letting it go.

1:57:55 WHY' YOU WERE YOU GETTING SOFT?

1:57:57 [laughter] Why you let that[ __] go, bro?

1:57:59 I got to get Henzo in here.

1:58:02 He's the best.

1:58:03 He's definitely We were going to do it at one time,

1:58:04 but he was only in Austin for a short

1:58:06 amount of time and I didn't have anything open.

1:58:07 I couldn't get him in.

1:58:09 I'd love to sit down with that guy.

1:58:10 What a legend.

1:58:11 Yeah.

1:58:12 Stories for days.

1:58:13 And he's one of those guys like you hear

1:58:14 about a guy getting a black belt and you're like,

1:58:16 "Okay." And you go, "Oh,

1:58:17 you got a black belt from Henzo." You're like, "Oh, okay.

1:58:22 Definitely." It's like Henzo Hixon, Jean Jock Machado.

1:58:24 There's a few of those guys that are like, "Okay,

1:58:26 that's a real black belt." Like, I mean, Henzo's New York place is like one

1:58:31 of the most legendary places in the history of jiu-jitsu.

1:58:34 If you had to write a history of jiu-jitsu,

1:58:36 the Henzo Academy in New York City, holy[ __] man.

1:58:40 Remember when he came over?

1:58:40 __] He came over in 96.

1:58:43 We had like an inschool tournament, you know what I mean?

1:58:45 It was great because Craig Kuk already had two schools for him.

1:58:49 He had a jersey school and that guy.

1:58:52 No clue, man.

1:58:53 No one knows like and disappeared.

1:58:56 My first instructor,

1:58:57 but he was not an easy guy to to he never let you get too close.

1:59:01 I bought all the tapes.

1:59:02 [laughter]

1:59:04 I learned I learned to mount escape from those tapes at work one day.

1:59:07 I was like, "Oh[ __] it worked." He was a very good teacher.

1:59:10 I was one of the before.

1:59:13 Early Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt.

1:59:15 He was a black belt like like early 90s, right?

1:59:17 Like the Steve Maxwell era.

1:59:18 He was one of the earliest ones,

1:59:19 too.

1:59:20 I found out about him through the Gracie

1:59:22 newsletter that I was applied to at like 17.

1:59:24 I used to get that the cuz when you buy the tapes, you get a newsletter.

1:59:27 And one newsletter, it was like every few

1:59:29 months it was announcing the first American black belt.

1:59:33 And then like two newsletters later, they disowned them.

1:59:36 They had a business.

1:59:37 [laughter] But I'm like, but then I found out through Black Belt magazine

1:59:40 that he was teaching in the village one day a week in the city.

1:59:42 I go, "All right,

1:59:43 they might have disowned him, but they couldn't take away his skill set.

1:59:46 There was no place to learn

1:59:47 in the on the East Coast except for Maxwell and Philly."

1:59:50 So that's how I found Kuck.

1:59:51 And then he partnered up with Henzo and

1:59:54 and then I went with Henzo when they broke up obviously.

1:59:57 Why did they break up?

2:00:00 I remember Henzo took me out to eat one time and he's like,

2:00:02 "Look," and I always got I got along with Henzo so much better.

2:00:06 He right off the bat.

2:00:08 Like Henzo was just so warm and great and he invited me over his house

2:00:11 and he was just such a and Craig was was always kind of a wall.

2:00:15 He was a big German guy just but uh I remember one time he told me

2:00:19 like look something with the business where he

2:00:21 wasn't feel like he was being treated fairly.

2:00:23 I'll just leave it like that.

2:00:24 And then uh he goes, "Look," he goes, "if no one likes Craig." He goes,

2:00:28 "If you go with him and and and me," he goes,

2:00:32 "People will go with him because of you,

2:00:33 cuz they like you." And but I want you to come with me.

2:00:36 I go, "Look," I go.

2:00:37 And at first, I'm like, "Is any you" know, I was a young kid.

2:00:39 I didn't know.

2:00:40 I go, "Is there any way you guys could make up?" He goes, "Man,

2:00:43 if it was Brazil, he'd be already dead." I go,

2:00:46 "All right, [laughter] okay, Enzo.

2:00:48 All right, I got you.

2:00:50 So much for that." Ah, so I went I went with Henzo and Craig kind of left town.

2:00:57 So Matt, where are you in the pecking

2:00:59 order in terms of American black belts from Henzo?

2:01:02 I'm I'm the first American under Henzo.

2:01:03 Okay, that's amazing.

2:01:05 That's crazy.

2:01:06 That's amazing.

2:01:07 That's amazing.

2:01:08 That's something that could that's my biggest achievement right there.

2:01:11 You know, he took me under his wing.

2:01:12 Henzo, again, I was a purple belt.

2:01:14 He got me out of a security guard booth,

2:01:16 taking me to Japan to corner him verse rings cuz

2:01:18 he wanted to me to see what it's like backstage.

2:01:21 Dude, I was no I didn't do anything yet.

2:01:23 I'm like, "Oh[ __] really?" Japan[ __] So he would just do stuff like that.

2:01:27 Yeah, he did.

2:01:28 He He put a lot into me.

2:01:29 So I can't thank him enough, dude.

2:01:31 That's

2:01:32 that[ __] camp.

2:01:34 You just think about how many elite black belts Henzo produced.

2:01:37 And then think of the John Donaher branch of it which also

2:01:42 right generationally like it just it dominates all the generations of jiu-jitsu.

2:01:47 Especially now if you think of what Donna has done you

2:01:50 know I mean his prize guy Gordon Ryan greatest of all time

2:01:54 for sure but I mean even on the other side who they don't get

2:01:56 along with so much now like like Nikki Rod and them are still from Donna.

2:02:01 Yeah.

2:02:01 Yeah.

2:02:02 Yeah.

2:02:02 And all elite of the elite.

2:02:04 Yeah.

2:02:04 No John well crazy lineage.

2:02:06 That's a guy that just put 100% of himself into it and he's got a genius mind.

2:02:12 I remember he didn't even own a television until my buddy

2:02:15 Chad LeBron who was moving back to Virginia gave him something.

2:02:18 He gave him one so he could watch it had I think a VHS and a DVD thing

2:02:22 where he wanted to just study wrestling tapes and Japanese

2:02:25 tapes and he just used it just to study.

2:02:28 I have a question for you.

2:02:28 Whatever happened to Eddie Wolverine?

2:02:30 Yeah.

2:02:30 So I asked him about that last night.

2:02:32 What's his last name again?

2:02:33 Uh Cumins.

2:02:34 Cummings.

2:02:34 What did he say?

2:02:35 He got into some kind of business now.

2:02:37 He's not really training as much.

2:02:38 God, that guy was good.

2:02:39 Yeah, he was good.

2:02:40 It was leg locks, man.

2:02:41 Early in the day, like as the leg lock revolution was unfolding,

2:02:46 that guy was first, you know, savage.

2:02:49 He put out, bro.

2:02:50 And, you know, just super super technical, you know,

2:02:54 trained a lot of those guys in leg lock technique, too.

2:02:57 You know, they all shared techniques.

2:02:59 Oh, yeah.

2:03:01 I'm I think it's just amazing that John drives.

2:03:04 He never drove in New York.

2:03:05 [laughter] So I go, "How'd you get here?" He goes,

2:03:06 "Oh, I drove." I go, "You[ __]

2:03:08 with a rash guard on and a fanny pack [laughter] and an Adidas sweatpants."

2:03:11 He was dressed up last night.

2:03:13 He had a All blacks polo shirt on from New Zealand.

2:03:16 Yeah.

2:03:17 Yeah.

2:03:17 A New Zealand all black shirt.

2:03:19 Matt asked him, he goes, "What?

2:03:20 What?

2:03:20 No rash guard?" And he goes, "Oh, I got dressed up for you tonight."

2:03:23 Well, he probably went back home to his family

2:03:25 and his mother was like, "Honey, [laughter]

2:03:28 stop wearing the rash everywhere." Right.

2:03:31 It is crazy.

2:03:32 That's all he would wear.

2:03:33 He's teaching at Kingsway now, Gordon School.

2:03:35 Now that Gordon's done competing, he's got that school going on.

2:03:39 He's like a character in a movie.

2:03:40 Like he's not supposed to exist.

2:03:43 That

2:03:42 Yeah.

2:03:43 He's a philosophy major at Colombia

2:03:46 who uh is falls in love with jiu-jitsu because he's a bouncer.

2:03:49 He wants to learn

2:03:50 bounced at scores.

2:03:52 Yeah.

2:03:52 Right.

2:03:52 Want [laughter] he's this like jacked like powerlifter bouncer who played rugby.

2:03:57 He was like 220.

2:03:58 He was yoked up.

2:03:58 Jacked.

2:03:59 And so then he learns jiu-jitsu, becomes obsessed with jiu-jitsu,

2:04:01 but his body's all[ __] up from rugby.

2:04:04 He's got a[ __] up knee, then his hip gets[ __] up, and

2:04:08 so he can't really compete,

2:04:09 but he is such a jiu-jitsu fanatic that he trains the best guys of all time.

2:04:15 It's kind of nuts.

2:04:16 It is nuts.

2:04:17 And that's all he cares about.

2:04:18 Like he doesn't give a[ __] about anything.

2:04:20 He doesn't give a[ __] about social media.

2:04:22 Look at John.

2:04:24 That's one of my favorite pictures.

2:04:25 full head of hair, jacked, looking ready for a a gay date.

2:04:29 John definitely [laughter] looks like he's wearing

2:04:32 almost like he had a skirt on.

2:04:34 It does.

2:04:34 He was a really John definitely would rock a headgear, too, when he wrestled.

2:04:38 For sure.

2:04:39 He was a bad[ __] dude.

2:04:41 Bad[ __] I know a lot of people who rolled with him that were shocked.

2:04:44 Yeah.

2:04:44 Yeah.

2:04:45 Oh, yeah.

2:04:45 Dude, John would do privates and wrestle everybody all day long.

2:04:48 Yeah, he lived it.

2:04:50 You know, he still lives it.

2:04:51 That's all he does.

2:04:51 And it's just so, you know,

2:04:53 fortunate that you get a guy who's that smart like in everything.

2:04:57 Like he's really well read history,

2:04:59 all kinds of like he's a very interesting guy

2:05:01 to talk to, but he becomes obsessed only with jiu-jitsu.

2:05:05 He didn't have a family.

2:05:06 He doesn't

2:05:08 Yeah.

2:05:07 wife and kids got to take care of.

2:05:10 I love that choking people.

2:05:11 When you have us out here, it's like a routine now.

2:05:13 Now every time we come out, I I get dinner with him.

2:05:15 So I don't see him too often.

2:05:16 So

2:05:17 Right.

2:05:17 It's great.

2:05:18 It's like a little reunion each time we come to town.

2:05:20 I'd be with him how many days a week?

2:05:22 We'd just train and go to Burritoville.

2:05:24 They were in Puerto Rico during the pandemic and they

2:05:27 were having a hard time there and I was like,

2:05:28 "Come to Texas, baby.

2:05:31 [laughter] Come on down."

2:05:32 I'll tell you, you're the Pied Piper.

2:05:34 They They all ended up here.

2:05:36 Well, it's a fun place, man.

2:05:38 It really is.

2:05:38 It's the Well, I heard the whole Puerto Rico thing was good for a while, though.

2:05:41 I was talking to Nikki Rod about that.

2:05:43 He said it was great.

2:05:44 He was like just like being in Puerto Rico

2:05:45 with your friends in like a frat house training jiu-jitsu all day.

2:05:48 It was like amazing.

2:05:49 Well, especially because they were shut down.

2:05:51 Yeah.

2:05:51 And in Puerto Rico, you have outside like you can get

2:05:55 light into the room so it kills the[ __] staff better.

2:05:58 Yeah.

2:05:58 Right.

2:05:58 How many guys got staff from that the basement jiu-jitsu?

2:06:03 Right.

2:06:03 Right.

2:06:03 A lot of blue.

2:06:05 A lot of people got staff.

2:06:06 There's a lot of funk that gets on those mats that if you're not careful.

2:06:10 __] up his belly with all the antibiotics.

2:06:12 Mhm.

2:06:13 And that's from staff.

2:06:14 Dude, my[ __] belly, Joe.

2:06:16 On the way here.

2:06:17 On the way to the JFK.

2:06:18 [laughter] I told us

2:06:20 cuz I always got my issues but I

2:06:21 usually give myself like if I'm going somewhere like

2:06:23 on a car trip or anywhere like I clear out

2:06:26 for at least an hour and a half to two

2:06:28 hours like I'll I'll give I'll have my espresso

2:06:30 in the morning two Celtzes and then I just

2:06:32 let it go to work and I'm pushing on my belly cuz I things get stuck in there.

2:06:37 So I thought I gave myself enough time and I was going to JFK from my house.

2:06:41 It's 30 minutes.

2:06:42 It was 9 in the morning.

2:06:45 We 10 minutes into that[ __] car trip.

2:06:47 I go, "I'm not[ __] making it." [laughter] I go, "I'm I" I go,

2:06:50 "I'm not." I go, "I'm not." And the guy was my driver was such a good guy.

2:06:54 What a nice guy.

2:06:55 I gave him a fifth I give him a[ __] tip.

2:06:57 Good tip.

2:06:57 So, we're driving.

2:06:58 I go I go, "All right, let me just keep watching videos on my phone.

2:07:01 I'm like, let me just try to let

2:07:03 my mind go somewhere." Clock the clock wasn't moving.

2:07:06 I look back.

2:07:06 I go, "That's another minute." I go,

2:07:08 "I'm not I There's no way I'm making this." So, I'm on the Bell Parkway.

2:07:11 It's not like you could just pull over.

2:07:13 So I go, you know, I go I go, "Buddy," I go I go, I I go,

2:07:17 "I'm sorry, man." I go, "I'm I'm not going to make it." I go I go,

2:07:20 "We got to we got to pull over." He goes,

2:07:22 "Oh." He goes, "Oh, the the bel there's nowhere really to pull over.

2:07:25 You want me to take an egg?" I go, "Go off an exit." I go,

2:07:27 "You're going to" I go, "YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO DO SOMETHING." I GO,

2:07:30 "I'M NOT MAKING IT." I GO, "CAN I GET YOU?" I go,

2:07:32 "Can I have your 7-Eleven cup?" I GO HE GOES, "OH,

2:07:35 DO YOU HAVE TO PEE?" I GO, "NO, I'M GOING TO[ __] IN YOUR CUP." I [laughter] GO,

2:07:37 "NO." I GO, "I'M SORRY." I GO, "I'M SORRY,

2:07:40 SIR." I GO, BUT I I GO I GO I knew it was it just

2:07:43 it's going to happen and it's my biggest[ __] fear and it's coming to life.

2:07:47 So he this guy No, it's okay.

2:07:50 No, it's he got over.

2:07:51 We almost hit a[ __] car.

2:07:53 I'm on the side.

2:07:55 There's There's not even bushes or anything.

2:07:57 There was some like some like uh

2:07:59 Nobody could see you behind.

2:08:00 Everybody saw me.

2:08:01 No, there's got to be some top.

2:08:03 I got out.

2:08:05 As I'm taking [clears throat] my pants down,[ __] I'm going,

2:08:08 "Thank goodness I made it." And[ __] I get back in.

2:08:11 I go, "Buddy, you[ __] in the cup?"

2:08:13 No, I didn't.

2:08:14 I have[ __] I had this piss.

2:08:17 Oh, but it's like Well, I mean, I felt my my[ __] pulse, but nothing.

2:08:21 [laughter] Okay.

2:08:22 You know, when you feel like, you know,

2:08:24 does it is like that with you with when you have to pee, too?

2:08:27 I sometimes I have to I have to do both.

2:08:29 Like, I'm like I have to pee,

2:08:31 but I know to really get it all out, I have to PUSH IT.

2:08:34 [laughter] HEY EVERYBODY, HOW'S MY ASS?

2:08:36 SO, BUT YOU with pee though, like you can't just hold pee, man.

2:08:40 I can, but not to this.

2:08:43 Not like how you used to be able to.

2:08:44 No.

2:08:44 Well, it's not like it's one of those things where I have

2:08:49 to clear out in the morning and I thought I totally cleared out,

2:08:52 but sometimes I'm like, "All right, I'm good.

2:08:53 I pushed out totally." And then it kind

2:08:55 of just gets something else in the chamber or something.

2:08:57 I'm like, "Oh, no.

2:08:59 There's still something left." [laughter] So, we're driving.

2:09:02 I I'm like, when I when I get the feeling,

2:09:04 it's it's such a horrible feeling because you're It's not about willpower.

2:09:09 It's not about thinking of something.

2:09:10 I'm like, dude, it's going to[ __] happen.

2:09:14 This is the day that I just piss myself.

2:09:16 It's gonna But thank go dude, I gave a custom tech.

2:09:19 It was $78 for the road for the trip.

2:09:21 I gave him a $50 tip.

2:09:22 I go, "Dude, thank you, bro.

2:09:24 You're a[ __] hero.

2:09:25 This guy[ __] saved my[ __] ass." And cuz someone else like they'd be like,

2:09:31 "Hey dude,[ __] off with like or or don't do this in my car." DUDE,

2:09:35 I'M LIKE, "IT'S HAPPENING." I GO, "GIVE ME A CUP." HE'S LIKE,

2:09:38 "OH, DO YOU HAVE TO PEE?" I GOT MY OBVIOUSLY.

2:09:42 But dude, he made it.

2:09:44 But I couldn't, Dude, I[ __] a 30 minute drive there.

2:09:47 I couldn't[ __] make it.

2:09:49 That's crazy.

2:09:49 It's scary.

2:09:50 But as you get older, it's hard to hold it, man.

2:09:52 But I think it's my ulcerative colitis has to do with that.

2:09:55 It has to have something to do with that.

2:09:57 But

2:09:57 cuz that sounds crazy that the dude just comes on that quar.

2:10:00 Dude, it's it was I I've had it before,

2:10:02 but like I I don't know if I told I maybe said it the last time here.

2:10:06 We were going to an aquarium out east with my family

2:10:09 and it was one of those things just like this.

2:10:11 And I get out of the car and then we're looking and we I'm like,

2:10:13 "All right, I can." And then I see there's like a line out the door.

2:10:14 I go, "I'm not making this.

2:10:16 There's no way I'm making this." So I go, "Honey, I'm" She goes, "Okay,

2:10:19 go go go." So I[ __] There's like a post office

2:10:22 with those those bushes that come straight up like they're all tied together.

2:10:26 I[ __] smoosh myself through the second I take my dick out.

2:10:31 __] bees come around my[ __] [laughter] head.

2:10:34 I GO, "DUDE, I'M GONNA GET STUNG cuz I'm not

2:10:36 GOING OUT WITH MY DICK." And[ __] I didn't get stung,

2:10:40 but I definitely had some on the front of my pants.

2:10:46 What are you going to do?

2:10:48 You know, I'm a very clean person to that.

2:10:51 Imagine being a woman in that situation, right?

2:10:54 There's no hiding it.

2:10:55 Oh, hard.

2:10:56 But uh yeah, man.

2:10:58 These are the things you got to deal with when you get older a little bit.

2:11:00 I am getting my stem cells that's hopefully going to help.

2:11:03 What is the cause of ulcerative colitis?

2:11:06 What do they say causes it?

2:11:08 Uh I don't know.

2:11:09 I mean, I think some of it's my history.

2:11:12 I know one of my brothers had Crohn's, which is even worse.

2:11:14 Crohn's disease to level up.

2:11:16 Yeah, man.

2:11:16 Like, so I know my grandfather when he

2:11:18 was getting older though, he had some[ __]

2:11:20 Have you ever like swared off pasta?

2:11:22 Well,

2:11:23 just like taking like months off.

2:11:26 I went I try to go carnivore.

2:11:28 I did go gluten-free for a while, you know, but you know, they even espresso.

2:11:34 I go, "Come on, man.

2:11:34 I got to have I'm with you.

2:11:36 Every time I go to New York, I have to eat Italian food." Like,

2:11:39 I'm looking forward to May the Jersey shows so

2:11:42 I can get some[ __] New Jersey Italian food.

2:11:44 I got to take you I got to take you to Tios, bro.

2:11:46 You'll love this pizza.

2:11:47 Let's go.

2:11:47 You will.

2:11:48 You loved it.

2:11:48 Oh, yeah.

2:11:48 I'm trying to come up next week.

2:11:50 I'm sure I love it.

2:11:50 I'm sure.

2:11:51 I love pizza.

2:11:52 No, no, they just they're[ __] No bleach, no probate.

2:11:55 Don't give me nothing.

2:11:56 But it's so I because I could eat it.

2:11:58 I could eat three slices on the way to my school and I'm not[ __] up.

2:12:02 I could train and it's[ __] If I did that with a[ __] regular slice of pizza,

2:12:06 dude, I want to take a nap,

2:12:08 you know?

2:12:08 So, it's a it's even my wife now orders the the zero zero flour, the Yeah,

2:12:31 I want to[ __] do that thing.

2:12:32 [laughter]

2:12:34 Get to my[ __] hotel.

2:12:35 If you did that, if it would have an effect,

2:12:38 you know who cured his[ __] ulcerative colitis is George St.

2:12:42 Pierre.

2:12:43 How did he do?

2:12:43 He said it's one of the reasons why he was stopping fighting.

2:12:45 Fasting.

2:12:46 He was fasting.

2:12:47 Really?

2:12:48 Yeah.

2:12:50 Interesting.

2:12:50 Fasting did that.

2:12:50 That's what he said.

2:12:51 That's what he said.

2:12:52 I mean, but he does some hardcore like three long[ __]

2:12:55 Yeah.

2:12:55 He does [laughter] like at least three, right?

2:12:57 Three days.

2:13:36 that's that is a symptom of the You could go buy whiskey.

2:13:39 You go to CVS and buy a jug of whiskey and drink yourself to death.

2:13:43 [laughter]

2:13:43 But you can't buy You cannot buy flavored Zins.

2:13:47 You can't buy flavor.

2:13:48 It makes zero zero sense.

2:13:50 You can't buy flavored vapes cuz they don't want

2:13:52 to encourage kids cuz you know how kids are.

2:13:55 They just want to They want flavored

2:13:57 Zens [laughter] talking about it all the time.

2:14:01 So[ __] stupid.

2:14:03 It's so stupid.

2:14:03 California is just so dumb.

2:14:05 They just want to tell you what to do.

2:14:06 It's a bunch of nannies

2:14:07 and if it's legal, they're going to tax it and regulate it.

2:14:10 Exactly.

2:14:10 And everybody's moving out.

2:14:12 People just fleeing that state like it's on fire.

2:14:14 Everybody's coming here.

2:14:15 They're coming here.

2:14:16 They're going to Tennessee.

2:14:16 They're going to Florida.

2:14:17 They're going anywhere they could just be left the[ __] alone.

2:14:21 New York.

2:14:22 New York's not much better.

2:14:23 No.

2:14:23 Well, hell, everybody's running out of there, too.

2:14:27 Not me.

2:14:28 I'm there.

2:14:28 I'm there for life.

2:14:29 I'm not going nowhere.

2:14:29 [laughter] Yeah.

2:14:30 It's just It just sucks when the government gets goofy and you're like,

2:14:34 "What are you talking about?" Now that Kathy Hol is saying Palm

2:14:38 Beach and get get those people to come back to New York.

2:14:41 Remember before all of you go move to Florida.

2:14:44 Yeah, that's what she said.

2:14:46 Which is a crazy thing to say.

2:14:47 That's a crazy thing to say.

2:14:49 It's so delusional.

2:14:51 But that guy that lady's nuts anyway.

2:14:52 Yeah.

2:14:52 Yeah.

2:14:53 She said that the vaccines were a gift from God.

2:14:56 Like she said she talks crazy.

2:14:58 [laughter] It's like people are so tired of Cuomo they're like who else?

2:15:01 Okay, fine.

2:15:02 You run it.

2:15:03 You know what I mean?

2:15:04 It's like, how did that lady become like the your best choice?

2:15:07 That seems nuts.

2:15:08 That makes me concerned that Stephen Corb is

2:15:12 doing the next[ __] Lord of the Rings.

2:15:15 Who is He's like he's writing the movie or something.

2:15:16 Him him and his son.

2:16:06 What is this?

2:16:07 Rings of Power.

2:16:08 The Amazon series of The Lord of the Rings

2:16:36 Explain it.

2:16:36 They make him smart and they made him[ __]

2:16:40 his balls back if Thanos kicked his ass, [laughter]

2:16:42 right?

2:16:43 You know.

2:16:43 Yeah, that's an orc, bro.

2:16:45 Yeah.

2:16:45 Now watch with the helmet.

2:16:46 Click get on click on that dude with like they have feelings.

2:16:49 Jesus Christ.

2:16:50 Oh no.

2:16:50 Oh yeah.

2:16:50 They're making discriminated against.

2:16:52 Oh no.

2:16:53 It's[ __] brutal.

2:16:53 That guy's got feelings for real.

2:16:55 Yeah, he had feelings and Yeah.

2:16:57 Oh, they're not supposed to have feelings.

2:16:58 There's There's no more good supposed to be like demons.

2:17:02 Nope.

2:17:02 Nah, now they're just

2:17:03 that one in the lower right hand corner with the[ __] helmet on.

2:17:05 Look at that.

2:17:06 Oh,[ __] Yeah, you don't know his backstory.

2:17:09 He might be a good guy.

2:17:11 His back.

2:17:13 I don't want him to be a good guy.

2:17:15 Me neither.

2:17:15 I want orcs old school like from the movies.

2:17:18 That's why that Night of the Seven Kings

2:17:20 was refreshing cuz it had no[ __] in it.

2:17:22 There.

2:17:22 Look.

2:17:22 There you go.

2:17:23 Wow.

2:17:25 Well, give the guy a chance.

2:17:26 Who knows?

2:17:27 Maybe it's awesome.

2:17:27 They say he was uh had a cameo in Desolation of Smog.

2:17:32 Oh, [sighs] no[ __] They did an animated series that uh The War of Rohem,

2:17:37 which was a piece of[ __] They made

2:17:38 a girl boss in there [laughter] that had she had

2:17:41 the they had all the cool dudes get killed

2:17:43 and the girls killing everybody and she's knows everything and she

2:17:47 and and they took it from like one like she was in like one paragraph

2:17:51 and[ __] in the thing and they just

2:17:53 gave her this big backstory of being a badass.

2:17:55 It's like the Fantastic Four with the female Silver Surfer.

2:17:58 She appeared in maybe one or two comics.

2:18:00 This[ __] is not a main character, no shape, no how, but boom.

2:18:06 Is the real Silver Surfer in it too?

2:18:09 No.

2:18:08 No, they got they seems silly.

2:18:10 Exactly.

2:18:11 No, [laughter] they Why did So there was a female Silver Surfer for a while?

2:18:14 No.

2:18:14 Like like very sporadically like maybe appeared in one or two.

2:18:19 It was actually his Now you're getting on my nerd side.

2:18:22 Y it [clears throat] was his wife before he was the Silver Surfer.

2:18:26 Like Shalabal his was his chick.

2:18:28 And uh the Russo brothers,

2:18:31 they are they are they they've been hitting it

2:18:33 out of the park with every Marvel movie they did.

2:18:35 Yeah.

2:18:35 So they're doing Doomsday, which is gonna be coming,

2:18:38 which is basically going to be they're putting

2:18:40 out Endgame again in theater in the theaters

2:18:43 and it's going to be like directly like it's going to take place directly after.

2:18:47 Good.

2:18:48 Good.

2:18:48 Well, I heard Ruin King Thor's coming.

2:18:50 I'm[ __] ready for that.

2:18:52 They did Winter Soldier.

2:18:53 It's like the highest level of Thor.

2:18:55 [laughter]

2:18:55 Oh, that's[ __] cool.

2:18:58 Let's keep going.

2:18:59 Oh my god, you're such a nerd.

2:19:00 [laughter][ __] great.

2:19:03 I don't know this com is such a crazy thing for a grown ass man.

2:19:09 [laughter] Big ass[ __] grown ass man.

2:19:13 Level of Thor.

2:19:15 That stuff's my WWE.

2:19:16 I love that[ __] cuz I grew up on the comics.

2:19:18 I loved they ruined those[ __] movies, man.

2:19:22 It's[ __] Thor.

2:19:23 Um Ragnarok was fun.

2:19:26 Love and Thunder.

2:19:27 Horrible.

2:19:27 Oh, here's my my friend the rock monster.

2:19:30 Hey, and here's his life mate, Bob.

2:19:31 The rock.

2:19:32 What the[ __] Why though?

2:19:33 What does that have to do with anything?

2:19:34 You know what?

2:19:34 You got to give credit to the DC movies then because they never ruined Batman,

2:19:40 right?

2:19:41 The the most recent Batman's at least,

2:19:42 the Christian Bale Batman, and then the new one.

2:19:46 It was still pretty dark and like dark just like like Yeah.

2:19:50 There was like there's no woke[ __] in them.

2:19:51 There's no It wasn't

2:19:53 They[ __] murdered that Thor.

2:19:54 They killed him.

2:19:55 and Gore like Christian Bale played Gore in that movie

2:19:58 in the comics that is the[ __] best Thor story.

2:20:02 Gore's a like first off he didn't look nothing like he did on t

2:20:05 on the movie but he's killing every killing all the other gods like I mean

2:20:10 Thor his[ __] dad they had to get a whole crew to come and fight

2:20:13 this guy and none of that really was showed in in the movie at all.

2:20:18 It was horrible love and thunder.

2:20:20 [laughter]

2:20:21 It was nerd.

2:20:22 I didn't know you was such a nerd.

2:20:24 Oh for comics.

2:20:25 I didn't know.

2:20:26 Why didn't they do it like the[ __] Oh, wow.

2:20:28 Look at him there.

2:20:29 See if you can look in the comics like

2:20:31 the comic version of Gore cuz it's not even close.

2:20:34 So, this is already out.

2:20:35 Turned into that was[ __] loving.

2:20:37 Damn.

2:20:38 Look how Look at his click on that with your cursor's on.

2:20:41 What the[ __] man?

2:20:42 Yeah, they wrecked.

2:20:42 He was a perfect guy to play it, but they just ruined the

2:20:45 Yeah, you can't blame Christian Bale.

2:20:47 Yeah, they should have done it.

2:20:48 Just buy the comic books.

2:20:49 You shouldn't be able to rewrite history like that and[ __] it up.

2:20:53 See [clears throat] if his It's Gore the God Butcher.

2:20:56 Yeah, that's Ruin King Thor, just in case you were wondering, Joe.

2:20:59 Jesus [laughter] Christ.

2:21:01 How many Thors are there?

2:21:03 How many?

2:21:03 That's the same guy.

2:21:04 It's just levels.

2:21:06 Oh, [laughter] explain that.

2:21:07 Uh oh.

2:21:09 Whoa.

2:21:09 That's from the movie.

2:21:10 Damn.

2:21:10 He looks good in the movie.

2:21:12 That's pretty dope.

2:21:13 It's probably also just a rendering because I

2:21:14 don't know that they've shown stuff like this.

2:21:16 When does the movie come out?

2:21:17 Later this year.

2:21:17 Doomsday comes out this year

2:21:20 and so does Dune Messiah.

2:21:23 It's a good year to be a nerd.

2:21:25 Yeah.

2:21:25 Well, the nerd movies sell the best if you think about it.

2:21:28 Commodore movies are like 100% guaranteed Harry Potter.

2:21:33 Yeah.

2:21:33 So, the Harry Potter show that they're doing on HBO.

2:21:36 I've read Find out if this is true.

2:21:37 Put this into Perplexity.

2:21:38 Our wonderful AI sponsor.

2:21:40 If uh they made they it cost them $100 million each episode.

2:21:45 What?

2:21:45 The new one that's coming out.

2:21:46 this new one.

2:21:47 Apparently, it's so highly produced.

2:21:49 It's like they they they've risked a billion dollars.

2:21:53 Oh my god.

2:21:54 series.

2:21:54 It's supposed to be insane.

2:21:55 Harry Potter, but it's Harry Potter.

2:21:56 And you I feel like you can't miss with Harry Potter except with trans people.

2:22:02 There's a a lot of controversy with uh the casting

2:22:05 cuz they did a um a race swap with Snape.

2:22:09 Snape.

2:22:10 He's like a guy that's

2:22:12 $100 million.

2:22:13 That's going to be a rough one, man, because his backstory is not good.

2:22:17 It hasn't been confirmed yet.

2:22:18 Several recent reports claim the budget is around 100 million per episode.

2:22:23 Jesus.

2:22:23 Seven planned season, eight episodes per season, 56 episodes total.

2:22:26 That per episode figure implies an estimated

2:22:29 total production cost of about $5.6 billion.

2:22:33 It looks like it's done well.

2:22:34 I saw the the coming you have to if you're going to do a Harry Potter,

2:22:39 you got to do it to the maximum.

2:22:40 There's already

2:22:41 I got to get into Harry Potter because [clears throat] there's

2:22:42 not a lot of black characters in it, but there is one.

2:22:45 There's one now.

2:22:48 But before that, before that, the one character, guess what his name is?

2:22:53 I'm not guessing anything.

2:22:54 Dean Thomas.

2:22:55 Shut the[ __] up.

2:22:56 I swear to God.

2:22:57 I swear to God.

2:22:58 I want my ROYALTIES FOR THIS.

2:23:00 I [laughter] WANT MY ROYALTIES.

2:23:01 I wasn't You had another guy.

2:23:03 Definitely not spelled the same way.

2:23:05 It is spelled the real way, but the Yeah, there it is.

2:23:08 There it is.

2:23:09 Dean Thomas.

2:23:10 side character.

2:23:12 Yep.

2:23:12 Not many blacks.

2:23:13 Out of here.

2:23:14 The one is Dean Thomas.

2:23:15 So, why why is it controversial?

2:23:17 Because they race swapped

2:23:18 because his backstory was I think he was in love with uh Harry's

2:23:26 mom and then they[ __] I think they all beat him up and stuff.

2:23:29 It's just not a good look

2:23:31 if it's you know what I mean cuz he plays

2:23:33 Black Snape.

2:23:34 So, you're implying that they beat him up because he's black.

2:23:37 Well, I'm not saying that.

2:23:38 I'm just saying it's not I'm saying to make him like a like a character that's

2:23:46 I don't know.

2:23:47 Why does he like me?

2:23:49 [laughter] It could be it could be interesting.

2:23:51 Meek Mill.

2:23:52 It's gonna if they just follow the books, it's going to be amazing.

2:23:55 Hey, I I you know I I miss the I was

2:23:58 a little bit older than my kids love the Harry Potter.

2:24:01 You know, people go adults read the books and[ __] I don't

2:24:04 I think it's the most successful books of all time.

2:24:06 Is it?

2:24:07 Yeah.

2:24:06 I think so.

2:24:07 I think it's like right up there with the Bible.

2:24:10 Damn.

2:24:10 I feel bad for that lady.

2:24:11 [clears throat] Find that out and put that into

2:24:12 She got She got crucified for just

2:24:14 compare the sales of Harry Potter guns though.

2:24:17 She got crucified for being logical and reasonable

2:24:20 and telling the truth and trying to protect

2:24:22 women and all these[ __] people's these actors

2:24:24 are still saying she said problematic things.

2:24:26 I want to hold them down and say tell me what she said that's problematic.

2:24:30 Yeah, that was a bit unfair to her.

2:24:31 It's just there was an article written about

2:24:34 this one actor that did it where that said he

2:24:37 is more concerned with being on the right

2:24:39 side of Hollywood than the right side of history.

2:24:41 And that's accurate.

2:24:42 Yeah.

2:24:43 Because these people all don't want to offend these dorks

2:24:45 in Hollywood that are out of their[ __] minds.

2:24:47 Enormously um commercially commercially what does that mean?

2:24:52 Enormously commercially successful,

2:24:54 but the Bible has sold far more copies overall.

2:24:57 Uh Harry Potter series has sold over 500 million copies.

2:25:00 Estimated for the Bible is around five to six billion copies.

2:25:04 Um how many copies of the Quran have been printed?

2:25:09 Uh I before I mean there's also multiple versions

2:25:12 of the Bible and there's seven books of Harry Potter.

2:25:14 So yeah, there's not seven, you know.

2:25:17 Right.

2:25:17 Right.

2:25:17 Right.

2:25:17 Right.

2:25:18 You could break it down.

2:25:18 So there's 45 books in the Bible and those are all sold.

2:25:22 Yeah.

2:25:22 But most people buy it as the Bible.

2:25:24 I know.

2:25:24 But there's also the King James Bible.

2:25:25 There's Bible

2:25:27 and there's the Old Testament and Yeah.

2:25:31 So, so by fewer copies, Harry Potter book sales are

2:25:33 estimated to have generated about $7.7 billion in revenue.

2:25:36 Not a Harry Potter in every uh hotel room in the country either.

2:25:40 That's true.

2:25:41 That's a good point.

2:25:41 That's a good point.

2:25:43 Yeah.

2:25:43 They keep that Bible in that hotel room just in case, right?

2:25:46 That's a weird thing, right?

2:25:47 Yeah.

2:25:47 Why do Why do they do that?

2:25:50 I think someone donated it.

2:25:51 Like there was a there was a Bill Hicks joke he did about it back in the day.

2:25:55 I forget there was a name on the Bible like it was a da

2:25:58 da da bible like someone like one

2:26:01 family donated Bibles to like every hotel room.

2:26:04 The Gideon Bible

2:26:05 I think that's it.

2:26:05 Is that it?

2:26:06 Might be.

2:26:06 I mean I

2:26:07 the Gideon family.

2:26:08 I think that was the joke.

2:26:09 That was part of the Who the[ __] are the Gideonss?

2:26:11 I was I was so depressed when I got here.

2:26:13 I I brought my Metaquest and I realized I brought two right controllers.

2:26:18 I'm like no.

2:26:19 [laughter] I had my headset on.

2:26:21 I go no no no.

2:26:24 I'm playing.

2:26:25 Hey, I'm playing a game now.

2:26:26 A new game.

2:26:27 What's the game, Jamie?

2:26:29 Get ready for this.

2:26:33 Forefront.

2:26:32 16 on 16.

2:26:34 There's tanks.

2:26:35 There's[ __] choppers.

2:26:37 F O R E.

2:26:39 Front.

2:26:40 It is.

2:26:41 Forget about Pop One.

2:26:42 Forget about contractors.

2:26:43 I know I hyped them up on here before.

2:26:45 This[ __] game is just pure adrenaline.

2:26:51 Okay, that's I just want to say [laughter] that.

2:26:53 I just wanted to get that out.

2:26:54 Joe, I'm telling you, you used to like the Quake[ __] Yeah.

2:26:57 I want to see what it looks like.

2:26:58 Show me what it looks like.

2:26:59 Forefront is so good.

2:27:01 Here it is.

2:27:01 This is it.

2:27:02 16 on 16.

2:27:04 Yeah, that's But where's the gameplay?

2:27:05 This is You have You You have to I LOVE THE SNIPING.

2:27:08 OH, you you give me my behemoth and I am[ __] taking people out.

2:27:13 You just bring that dude back to life.

2:27:14 Yeah, I'm a medic there.

2:27:17 But uh it is so Look at the tanks.

2:27:20 But you're seeing this through your VR.

2:27:22 It is so much fun.

2:27:23 Me and my brother-in-law Edwin, we go on this[ __] and we take souls.

2:27:28 You can get on a bike.

2:27:29 You could do a four the four-wheeler.

2:27:31 They have anti-aircraft.

2:27:33 They have carriers, ACPs, they have tanks.

2:27:36 How do you have a life outside of this?

2:27:39 Well, I don't.

2:27:40 That's the problem with these things.

2:27:42 I have a house of women.

2:27:43 You know,

2:27:44 they're watching Love on the Spectrum and I'm playing this.

2:27:47 They like that.

2:27:48 The problem is these are too good.

2:27:49 They're too fun.

2:27:50 They could take your whole life away.

2:27:52 No, I got a two hour time limit on my I play until my battery dies.

2:27:55 That's good.

2:27:56 You know, two hours.

2:27:58 That's all those things last around that hour and a half.

2:28:01 Hey, after a day of making people more dangerous, do my podcast.

2:28:05 You know, I deserve how tall my I deserve.

2:28:07 No, you deserve it.

2:28:08 I'm just scared.

2:28:09 I'm scared.

2:28:10 I watch it.

2:28:10 I get scared.

2:28:11 You should.

2:28:11 Hey, we we could squat up.

2:28:13 No, no, no, no, no.

2:28:14 Go on.

2:28:15 You would get addicted to this.

2:28:16 No, no, no.

2:28:16 Oh, yeah.

2:28:16 Yeah, it's a real problem.

2:28:17 It's a real problem.

2:28:19 It's a real problem.

2:28:19 Yeah, it was like

2:28:21 I can't play these.

2:28:21 It was like a crackhead that couldn't get his lighter work INTO [laughter]

2:28:27 cuz that's how I like to kill time here when I'm[ __]

2:28:29 I made a decision a long time ago to never

2:28:31 bring like a gaming setup with me on the road.

2:28:35 I'm like I can't do it.

2:28:36 Yeah, where it goes.

2:28:38 I start playing.

2:28:38 I'll be up till 4:00 in the morning.

2:28:41 I'll be if like any first person shooter

2:28:44 where you're running around a map and there's

2:28:45 another dude on the map and you got to get a rocket launcher and[ __] him up.

2:28:48 It'll It starts to feel real.

2:28:49 It feels very real.

2:28:51 Me last night.

2:28:51 Then I had to go back to What is this one?

2:28:53 Oldfashioned.

2:28:54 What does it look like?

2:28:55 Oh my god.

2:28:55 It's Doom.

2:28:57 It's Doom in VR.

2:28:59 Oh.

2:28:59 Oh no.

2:28:59 This is a problem.

2:29:00 I got to find this.

2:29:01 But Doom is uh I actually think this is the the player of Quake Doom.

2:29:06 Oh, it is Quake 1.

2:29:07 Yeah.

2:29:07 Oh wow.

2:29:08 You like the Quake stuff.

2:29:10 Love it.

2:29:11 But I'm a I'm more of a Quake 3 Arena guy

2:29:14 because Quake 3 Arena like show them some Quake 3 Arena.

2:29:17 They got the graphics down and then they

2:29:19 had it set up where everything was online.

2:29:22 So you didn't have to like buy the new version of Quake and download

2:29:25 it to your computer and run it and play it and No, it's online.

2:29:29 So you just log in and you're playing this streaming and it's[ __] phenomenal.

2:29:34 It's like that now with the meta.

2:29:35 You just get updates.

2:29:36 Show some uh highlights of gameplay so you can see what it looks like.

2:29:39 Supposed to be the VR.

2:29:41 Oh, this is the VR version.

2:29:42 Oh, Jesus Christ.

2:29:44 Why are you showing me this?

2:29:46 [laughter]

2:29:46 Don't show me this cuz I was going to tell you next that the Apple

2:29:48 Vision Pro is being updated now so we can play with

2:29:51 Shut the[ __] up.

2:29:52 Don't do this to me, dude.

2:29:53 Don't do this to me.

2:29:54 This is my game.

2:29:55 This is my game.

2:29:55 I[ __] love this[ __]

2:29:57 As if you had a Starlink, you could just do this on the plane.

2:29:59 Shut the[ __] up.

2:29:59 Oh, you just I'm not doing this.

2:30:01 Is it a battle royale?

2:30:02 You just got to kill everybody.

2:30:03 Yeah.

2:30:04 The The problem is, man,

2:30:05 I start doing it and if I start[ __] people up, I can't stop.

2:30:08 It's fun, dude.

2:30:09 I And I got pretty good at it.

2:30:11 Not like, you know, I could win tournaments good, but I got pretty good at it.

2:30:15 Like I[ __] these guys up.

2:30:16 The dudes in the studio I[ __] up.

2:30:19 Oh dude, I'll tell

2:30:19 I would get real addicted to it and I'd start getting Yeah, that's a problem.

2:30:22 And then I start playing online and just going into room.

2:30:24 Next thing you know, Yep.

2:30:25 your life is This is one of my favorite maps.

2:30:28 You bounce out to this one and everybody can see you so they're all

2:30:30 sniping you when you're trying to come back when you get the god power.

2:30:34 Now you just[ __] destroy everyone.

2:30:36 All right.

2:30:36 You speaking my language.

2:30:38 Yeah.

2:30:38 Look at this, bro.

2:30:38 You got a rail gun.

2:30:40 Precision movement.

2:30:40 Boom.

2:30:41 Look at that.

2:30:41 That's the rail.

2:30:42 Look at the rail gun, bro.

2:30:44 You got to have super accuracy.

2:30:47 Boom.

2:30:47 And while you got god power, you just have to hit him once.

2:30:49 Boom.

2:30:52 Boom.

2:30:52 Look at that.

2:30:52 Oh[ __] This guy's got timing.

2:30:56 This This is a dick.

2:30:57 This is like You're watching I'm watching people smoke crack and I'm going,

2:31:01 "Oh, give me that [laughter] pipe, baby.

2:31:04 Give me that pipe." It's so funny.

2:31:05 If they But if that was VR, I would never have a life.

2:31:08 I don't have a life.

2:31:09 I can't do it.

2:31:10 It's just helps balance me out.

2:31:13 You know what it's like, dude?

2:31:14 It's like jiu-jitsu if you never got tired.

2:31:17 H Yeah.

2:31:17 Well, that's what that's why you have the battery life on it.

2:31:19 That thing gets Imagine jiu-jitsu if you never got tired.

2:31:22 You just do it all day.

2:31:23 If you never got hurt, you never got tired.

2:31:24 You would just be training constantly.

2:31:26 Especially if you were[ __] people up.

2:31:27 Oh my god.

2:31:28 Always winning and tapping people out.

2:31:29 Once you got to a certain level, I mean, this is to me straight crack.

2:31:34 Oh, dude, that looks fun.

2:31:35 Come on.

2:31:35 How fun is this game?

2:31:36 You're swapping weapons instantaneously and you

2:31:39 have certain weapons set to different keys.

2:31:40 Just like my rail gun is always this middle the wheel button.

2:31:44 I hit that[ __] I get the rail gun and you

2:31:47 can adjust your uh speed of your mouse depending on the weapon.

2:31:51 Do you hear the other players?

2:31:52 Do they complain when you use a certain weapon?

2:31:54 Um I don't know if they use that with this.

2:31:58 I never did.

2:31:58 I don't When you chat with Quake, you would have to pull the menu down and chat.

2:32:02 If you have a bunch of people talking while you're playing,

2:32:04 it's going to ruin your game experience.

2:32:06 Yeah, sometimes with this for I don't want

2:32:08 anybody talking[ __] I just want to kill you.

2:32:10 They're like, "Good job." Yeah, [laughter] good job, Unk.

2:32:13 They call me Unk.

2:32:14 Good job, Uncle.

2:32:15 You had to use a shotgun,[ __] [laughter] You know, I try to be mature.

2:32:19 I'M LIKE, "YOU'RE DEAD, YOU LITTLE[ __] YOU'RE DEAD.

2:32:21 YOU SHOULD USE A SHOTGUN, COCKSUCKER." YEAH.

2:32:24 YEAH.

2:32:24 They complain when I kill him.

2:32:25 They're like, "What are you, 30?

2:32:27 You're playing a game?" I'm like, "Well, I'm actually 50." [laughter]

2:32:32 Thank you, kid.

2:32:32 I'll take 30.

2:32:34 What is that?

2:32:36 30.

2:32:36 I'm like, "Well, it's great,

2:32:38 bro.

2:32:38 I remember when I was in high school.

2:32:38 I found out Madonna was 26.

2:32:40 I was like, "Oh, she's old, [laughter] dude.

2:32:44 I remember I remember getting ready for a fight at 35.

2:32:46 I was getting ready for Trigg and I had Gian Volante there now.

2:32:49 He's older than this now." And he's like, "Dude,

2:32:51 how's it feel to be 35?" I go, "Dude,[ __] you.

2:32:53 I'm still fighting.

2:32:55 __] you."

2:32:56 You know, I bring that up to him now.

2:32:57 He's like 40 now.

2:32:58 Like, you caught up to me a little, you know?

2:33:00 Yeah, man.

2:33:01 You know, it's weird.

2:33:02 We're all dying.

2:33:03 [laughter]

2:33:04 I know.

2:33:04 It is.

2:33:04 I mean, think about it.

2:33:05 We don't got much time left.

2:33:06 Slow to process.

2:33:07 Really?

2:33:07 I'm 58.

2:33:08 What are you, Johnny?

2:33:10 57.

2:33:11 Damn.

2:33:11 Oh, you guys could have went to high school together.

2:33:12 You class above.

2:33:13 I'm 51.

2:33:15 Young man, I'm still only 49.

2:33:18 You're full of[ __] I'm 49.

2:33:19 Keeping it together.

2:33:20 Yeah.

2:33:20 All right.

2:33:20 I like it.

2:33:21 I thought you would be like a Brazilian.

2:33:22 Hardrigo Gracie used to lie about his[ __] age like a chick.

2:33:26 [laughter]

2:33:27 Dude, you're you're my age.

2:33:28 What does he say?

2:33:28 __] 29 still.

2:33:29 What are you talking about?

2:33:31 No one knows how old Yoel is.

2:33:33 Oh, yeah.

2:33:34 probably older.

2:33:36 I know.

2:33:36 [laughter] Might be older.

2:33:38 It does feel weird when you say 51.

2:33:40 Like when I say 51, I'm like, "Oh, 50s." I go, "Man, I'm

2:33:43 younger." You never really picture you'll be that age.

2:33:45 Me, too.

2:33:45 I'm almost 60.

2:33:46 I mean, when we were growing up though, 60 was broken down.

2:33:48 And

2:33:49 Yeah.

2:33:49 It's a big difference from Shout out to Ways to Well,

2:33:52 right.

2:33:53 Life Med for me at home.

2:33:54 Ways to Well,

2:33:55 you [laughter] do.

2:33:56 You hang out Do you hang out with younger guys?

2:33:57 Cuz I hang out with you.

2:33:59 You're in the in the gym.

2:33:59 You're with younger people.

2:34:00 That's what I'm saying.

2:34:01 I'm always with younger comics for unless it's Ron White, right?

2:34:04 It's those worlds and and I bet you I bet you when you hang out with Ron White,

2:34:08 it doesn't feel like you're hanging out with an old man.

2:34:09 No.

2:34:10 Like me and Longo gem.

2:34:12 He's a gem.

2:34:13 Yeah.

2:34:13 Longo's 67.

2:34:14 I

2:34:15 just say throw away something.

2:34:17 It'll just be so funny.

2:34:18 We all be dying laughing.

2:34:20 He's a naturally funny dude and just a sweetheart of a guy.

2:34:23 He was good in tires also.

2:34:25 Oh, he's great in I like that show.

2:34:26 Yeah.

2:34:26 Well, you know, he's homies with Shane.

2:34:28 Shane's always there, too.

2:34:30 It's a night.

2:34:31 It's But that again,

2:34:32 like young people that are doing the thing we all love to do,

2:34:35 having fun, just just like a jiu-jitsu gym, just like anything else.

2:34:39 You don't I mean, this idea that you have to one day grow up,

2:34:42 like that's not true.

2:34:43 I'm here to tell you it's not true.

2:34:44 You should grow up in some ways, like be a good dad,

2:34:46 take care of your taxes, you know, that kind of stuff.

2:34:49 Why you looking at me?

2:34:50 After that, after that, shut up.

2:34:52 Shut up.

2:34:53 Have fun.

2:34:54 Oh, that's me in a[ __] nutshell.

2:34:56 Yeah, there's nothing wrong with you playing those games.

2:34:58 Just don't tell those kids how old you are.

2:35:02 [laughter]

2:35:02 I know, dude.

2:35:02 They call me an old man.

2:35:04 This guy sounds 30.

2:35:05 I'm like, you little[ __]

2:35:07 Yeah, but it's fun, though.

2:35:08 Don't have a heart attack for real.

2:35:10 [laughter]

2:35:10 You have to take any[ __] breaks in the middle of your VR experiences.

2:35:15 But I I I'm [laughter] not above I'm not

2:35:17 above teabagging those little bastards when they get wise.

2:35:20 I'm squatting down on them in my[ __] thing in my

2:35:22 teaag a guy after you kill him.

2:35:24 They get mauy.

2:35:25 I will teabag somebody.

2:35:26 [laughter] I don't give a[ __] You don't outgrow that.

2:35:28 So you you actually squat physically and it does it

2:35:32 maybe.

2:35:33 My wife's like, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" HE DESERVES IT, HONEY.

2:35:37 [laughter]

2:35:39 CRAZY.

2:35:39 LISTEN, that's crazy.

2:35:40 It's different than a video control.

2:35:42 You're actually [laughter]

2:35:44 That's crazy.

2:35:45 I get my squats in, man.

2:35:47 Have you seen those uh multidirectional

2:35:49 treadmills you're doing those games on now?

2:35:51 Yeah, but I'm not running.

2:35:51 My knees aren't good for that.

2:35:53 So there's a treadmill like a circle and it goes in any direct

2:35:56 omniirectional I think they call it and you're strapped in with a harness

2:35:58 that like keeps you from and you just move you move like

2:36:02 you're running you would be in insane be some people in better shape.

2:36:06 Oh, dude.

2:36:06 You You would think how good that would be for your footwork.

2:36:10 Like, if you could have a VR, there's a good VR boxing game.

2:36:14 And one of the things that I noticed when

2:36:16 I was playing it was my feet were hurting

2:36:18 cuz I was doing it on concrete on cement and I was wearing

2:36:21 like Converse Allstars and you just push it off your feet all the time.

2:36:25 I was like, "Oh my god, I'm getting a foot workout.

2:36:27 This is crazy." Like it was gassing me out

2:36:29 because you really see the guy and he pops you, everything goes white.

2:36:32 Like he got stunned like boom.

2:36:34 Oh[ __] Get them back.

2:36:36 Right.

2:36:36 And you're moving.

2:36:37 You're moving around stuff.

2:36:38 There's a bunch of them.

2:36:39 I got to get into those.

2:36:41 Tiring.

2:36:41 I don't is when you hold the gloves,

2:36:45 like if you hold the hand things like this, it shows the gloves like this.

2:36:50 So when you're punching, it looks like you're punching them wrong.

2:36:53 So it[ __] your head up.

2:36:55 Yeah.

2:36:55 You know what I mean?

2:36:55 So when you're twisting to punch, it's showing this and it[ __] your head up cuz

2:37:00 giving a[ __] wing chunk punch, right?

2:37:02 [laughter] So, like if you punch like

2:37:03 this, it'll look like the knuckles are coming out,

2:37:05 but you're doing this.

2:37:06 Oh, yeah.

2:37:07 You figure how can't they get that?

2:37:09 They should get that right.

2:37:09 It should be where your hands are positioned.

2:37:12 So, if you hold it like that, it should be

2:37:13 the gloves are like that and then you turn it like

2:37:15 that and it looks so that way it doesn't[ __]

2:37:16 with your head while you're punching that thing cuz it's weird.

2:37:19 Clearly, the developers programmers and fix that.

2:37:23 But I think there's some real benefit in it for real.

2:37:26 Because first of all, it's harder to hit air than it is to hit a thing, right?

2:37:30 So, you get a little workout doing that.

2:37:31 The things don't weigh much,

2:37:33 but you could always put like a little

2:37:34 you little whis wrist weight or something or someone

2:37:37 could make a controller that has lead in it

2:37:39 that has a couple of pounds for each one.

2:37:41 You would get good endurance doing it and you're doing a lot

2:37:44 of footwork drills cuz like you're lomachenko in these moving around

2:37:47 good for you.

2:37:48 And it's also showing you how to move away from things and counter.

2:37:53 There's a bunch of different things that you could

2:37:54 actually apply to re It's better than real shadow boxing.

2:37:57 Yeah, I was about to say it's like it's like intense extreme shadow boxing.

2:38:01 Yes.

2:38:02 Yes.
