I Tried the #1 Restaurants of the RICH & FAMOUS!

Guga

0:00 On today's video, we're going to try what the rich and famous eat.

0:03 Yes, we will be going to extremely expensive places like

0:07 the one behind me where Messi eats all the time.

0:10 The rich and famous also love other things that are inexpensive.

0:14 For example, breakfast, lunch.

0:17 We're going to be investigating to see if they have good taste or not

0:20 and I'm hitting every single spot to find out which one is worth the money.

0:26 We'll be back to this steakhouse real shortly.

0:28 Enough talking because we're going to start off with breakfast.

0:30 International House of Pancake.

0:33 Let's go in and see what the food is all about.

0:40 And here we are at IHOP,

0:42 one of the most famous breakfast place in the United States.

0:45 [music] It's known for their big pancakes,

0:47 their big breakfast, and a lot of celebrities come here.

0:50 Jimmy Fallon loves this place and of course Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

0:54 But most people think that The Rock would order protein pancakes.

0:57 No, no, no, no, no.

0:58 He likes his pancake the real deal, everybody.

1:00 It's his cheat meal.

1:02 Jimmy Fallon, on the other hand, he likes the big [music] steak omelet.

1:05 So, I am definitely ordering those two.

1:07 And the first thing that arrive is this [music] big omelet.

1:10 Let's take a look at what's inside.

1:13 Oh, you tell me, everybody.

1:15 Look [music] at that feeling.

1:17 This is a big omelet and also it's kind of heavy on my fork, everybody.

1:21 I'm not going to lie, it's kind of heavy.

1:22 I'm going to go for this right here.

1:24 We got steak, potato, a little bit of vegetables to keep [music] it healthy.

1:27 Cheers.

1:30 It's not the greatest [music] steak in the world by any means, but I dig this.

1:34 This is delicious, everybody.

1:36 The egg itself is an extremely [music] thin layer,

1:39 but the feeling that they put inside is just like money.

1:43 And here we got the pancakes, everybody, from IHOP.

1:46 Now, they're known [music] for a few things: soft, thick, and very, very fluffy.

1:50 And let's be real, this is one of the most

1:52 famous breakfast food in the [music] United States.

1:55 Looks good, it looks buttery, it looks very fluffy.

1:58 [music] Every one of them nicely golden.

2:01 I'm going to put a little bit more syrup because it's necessary.

2:08 Oh man, after having that big steak omelet, you take a nice bite of this.

2:12 It's super [music] sweet.

2:13 The two combinations, the steak omelet and the pancakes, for me, that's it.

2:17 This is [music] not real maple syrup, so take that into account.

2:20 Pancakes are delicious.

2:21 Is it the best [music] pancakes I ever had?

2:23 No, it's not.

2:24 You know which pancake is the best one I ever had in my life?

2:26 Cracker Barrel.

2:27 Nevertheless, this is good.

2:29 Shout out to IHOP.

2:30 Jimmy Fallon, thumbs up for your choice.

2:31 [music] The Rock, yes, yes, and yes.

2:34 Enough with the breakfast, it's lunch time.

2:37 And guess who likes to eat at our next restaurant.

2:41 Did you know that Shake Shack did not start it as a burger joint?

2:45 It was actually a hot dog cart in New York City.

2:48 They didn't sell any burgers, but then it became extremely popular.

2:51 The line started being so huge that it became what it is today.

2:55 But, are their burgers good?

2:57 I don't know.

2:57 Does LeBron James know how to eat properly?

2:59 I know he knows how to play basketball really good.

3:01 And who's the goat?

3:02 Let me know in the comments down below right now because I know who I like.

3:05 Let's see if the burger's any good.

3:07 Shake Shack.

3:09 Never been here, everybody.

3:10 Never been here.

3:11 Oof.

3:13 And everything has arrived.

3:15 I mean, take a look at these burgers.

3:19 [laughter]

3:18 You just by the looks, I don't know about the taste, but they look incredible.

3:22 One look better than the other, everybody.

3:24 I need to analyze these burgers.

3:26 So, this is what LeBron James likes to order when he comes here, everybody.

3:30 We have a triple stack with bacon, lettuce, [music] tomatoes.

3:34 I mean, take a look at this monstrosity.

3:38 I don't even know how to eat this properly.

3:39 Cheers.

3:40 [music] Oh man, that's delicious.

3:45 A lot of people always ask, which one is the best?

3:47 Is it Burger King?

3:48 Is it McDonald's?

3:49 In-N-Out?

3:49 Right now, Shake Shack.

3:51 The amount of meat in here, I mean, take a look at this, everybody.

3:54 This is a hefty burger, everybody.

3:56 Straight up protein and nothing else.

3:59 Very juicy, creamy.

4:01 It's kind of hard to actually take a bite

4:03 of the thing because the damn thing is so big, man.

4:05 But I I love these crispy bits.

4:07 Look at this.

4:07 Look at the crispy bits on the burger.

4:09 LeBron, [music] I know you can play basketball and apparently

4:11 you also love food and you have great [music] taste.

4:15 And here we have Leonardo DiCaprio's burger.

4:18 I mean, take a look at it, everybody.

4:20 It's a double [music] stack, but also there is some papaya.

4:23 I mean, that is just to keep you healthy, seriously.

4:25 [music] Cheers.

4:29 Now, who puts avocado on a burger?

4:30 I don't think avocado should go on the burger, everybody.

4:32 That's just me.

4:33 I think it's kind of weird.

4:34 Let me know in the comments down below if

4:35 you agree with me or if I'm a just weirdo.

4:37 Without the actual avocado, it will be better.

4:40 But I got the chicken fried sandwich, baby.

4:42 I mean, it doesn't really look like the picture, but it looks very Korean to me.

4:47 [music] Holy moly.

4:51 Wow.

4:52 I'm speechless.

4:53 20 out of 10.

4:54 It's spicy, it's sweet, it's juicy.

4:56 The cabbage gives a nice crunch together with the crust of the chicken.

5:00 Yo, Shake Shack, shout out to you, man.

5:02 Yo, yo, just hear me out real quick.

5:04 Shout out to LeBron James.

5:05 You have great taste, my friend.

5:07 I'm going to be honest with you.

5:08 Also Leonardo DiCaprio as well.

5:10 If you love sweets, what I'm about to have

5:12 next is one of the classics loved by everyone.

5:16 Let's go.

5:17 Krispy Kreme.

5:18 There are so many celebrities that loves this place.

5:21 First, Steve Harvey.

5:22 You know, the one from Family Feud.

5:24 That man is a funny dude, all right?

5:26 And then we also have Sofia Vergara.

5:28 She loves it as well.

5:30 You know, the one from Modern Family.

5:31 I mean, you know who I'm talking about.

5:34 Oh, another one.

5:34 If you don't know those two by any means, Drake.

5:37 And I'm sure you know Drake.

5:38 Yeah.

5:38 Hey, how are you?

5:39 Yeah, a dozen?

5:40 And then let me have six glazed.

5:41 Let me have two Boston creams, the chocolate glazed,

5:45 and then let me have Oh, man, I've never seen this.

5:47 Is this Oreo limited time?

5:49 Oh, man, let me have two Oreos, too.

5:51 It's fat-free, calorie-free, right?

5:54 I may just smile.

5:55 There you go.

5:57 Just say yes, so it makes me feel better.

5:58 Thank you so much.

5:59 Appreciate it.

6:00 Oh, the box is hot.

6:01 And check it out what we got over here, everybody.

6:05 Krispy Kreme for days, baby.

6:08 And this is their glazed donut, the most popular one.

6:12 I understand why this is so addicting.

6:14 I mean, just the smell of it is intoxicating, everybody.

6:18 It just looks so good.

6:22 There's a reason why they sell millions and millions of this every year.

6:28 It is a sugar rush.

6:30 This thing is dangerous.

6:32 Shout out to my boy Steve Harvey.

6:34 Yo, you got good taste, man.

6:36 You got real good This is delicious, everybody.

6:39 What else can I say?

6:40 But let's go for Sofia Vergara.

6:41 Let me show you what she likes.

6:42 I mean, it's literally the same exact donut,

6:46 but they put a little chocolate crust over it, everybody.

6:49 And the back, you can clearly see it's the same exact one.

6:55 The chocolate is not real chocolate.

6:57 The chocolate is like a washed-down chocolate, if that makes any sense.

7:00 I actually don't enjoy that.

7:01 I prefer the previous one, which was just the glaze itself.

7:04 I think it overpowers a little bit too much the taste of the actual donut,

7:08 which is delicious by itself.

7:10 But you know Drake?

7:11 Let me show you what he likes.

7:12 The Boston cream.

7:13 [music] Now this donut right here, it's donut on the bottom,

7:16 but there's no holes on it at all.

7:19 There's a filling inside, and that's where the magic is.

7:22 Take a look at that filling, everybody.

7:25 It's full of that filling, that cream in there.

7:32 You know, that's delicious.

7:32 [music] The cream fights back with the chocolate.

7:34 That's what's happening in here, because on the other one,

7:37 it was way too overpowering for me.

7:39 And then if I'm I'm completely honest,

7:40 that chocolate is not real chocolate, right?

7:42 It's some fake chocolate.

7:43 This one is absolutely delicious.

7:45 It's melting in my mouth.

7:46 I mean, you can see right here the situation.

7:49 They are generous with that filling that they have in there.

7:55 Drake, you got [music] good taste.

7:56 This is not loved by any celebrity.

7:59 Yeah, this is not for the rich and famous.

8:01 This is just for me.

8:02 I want to see if it's good.

8:05 100 out of 10.

8:07 Imagine combining a donut and Oreo together.

8:09 It's literally the combination you have, everybody.

8:12 Because this is absolutely delicious, man.

8:15 But so far, we've been going to inexpensive, well-known places.

8:19 Our next location is where Messi likes to eat,

8:22 specifically where he likes to eat his steak.

8:25 I've never been there.

8:26 I'm excited to try.

8:27 Let's find out right now.

8:29 Wow, this is a fancy steakhouse.

8:32 How are you?

8:32 Welcome to the restaurant.

8:34 Thank you.

8:34 I'm John, the general manager.

8:35 How are you?

8:36 Nice to meet you, John.

8:37 Do you guys have a lot of celebrities come here?

8:39 Yeah, the Stefanos, the Bezos, you know, a lot of captains of industry.

8:44 I've heard Messi comes here.

8:45 Is that true?

8:46 Messi's Messi's been here, yeah.

8:48 The owner of the team comes here.

8:50 The owner of the team as well?

8:51 The waiter is very nice.

8:52 General manager is very nice.

8:54 Nevertheless, I'm going to be honest with you

8:56 and let you know because I have one goal here.

8:59 This is a complimentary of the chef, and we're going to try it.

9:01 It is a caviar with a French onion dip and some chips.

9:05 If Messi has good taste, so let's dig in.

9:09 Okay, I said I was going to be honest, that is delicious.

9:11 I think that's one of the reasons they gave it to me.

9:13 They serve it right away.

9:14 The sour cream and onion is a perfect combination.

9:17 Caviar is nice and fresh, and they brought me some bread.

9:19 Let's dig in.

9:20 Ooh, very crispy bread.

9:23 I want to slather a little bit of that butter in here.

9:25 Ooh, it's whipped butter.

9:27 Ooh, okay.

9:28 And that Ooh, it's honey.

9:31 And I thought it was olive oil.

9:32 Oh, well, looks like it's going to be a good bite, man.

9:37 Some crispy bread.

9:40 Mhm, that's an amazing bread.

9:43 Nicely baked, extremely crunchy, crackly, freshly made right now.

9:49 That butter is not too rich.

9:50 Man, shout out to the outdoor boys

9:53 because I think this steakhouse just copied them.

10:00 [music] Enough because we're here for one reason.

10:02 We're here for this specific steak right here,

10:05 which is what our good friend Messi orders.

10:07 I'm excited to try it.

10:08 It looks great, but looks can be deceiving.

10:10 Nicely medium rare in there.

10:13 It's not Wagyu, okay?

10:15 I'm going to cut out a little bit of the silver skin right here.

10:18 Silver skin to the side and going to go for this bite.

10:21 Looks pretty decent.

10:22 Let's give it [music] a try.

10:25 Messi, you know, I know Messi can play very good football,

10:28 but I'm going to be honest with you.

10:30 He knows his meat, too, man, because that's very good.

10:32 So, here's a few things that stands out to me right away.

10:35 Let me show you.

10:35 You see this right here, everybody?

10:37 So, this crust right here is very crackly, okay?

10:41 But also, I want you to notice one thing.

10:42 They did not burn the crust.

10:44 That's a good [music] thing.

10:45 That's what you want.

10:46 If you burn the crust, it's not going to be good.

10:48 It's going to have a bitter taste.

10:49 So, by doing this [music] right here, they did it correctly.

10:52 Very good.

10:52 But take a look at this mashed potato.

10:54 Is that a mashed potato?

10:55 Is that a baked potato?

10:56 What is it?

10:57 I don't know, but I like how it looks.

10:59 Let's go.

11:00 I'm going to go in.

11:00 Oh, wow.

11:01 Check out the inside.

11:03 Oh.

11:06 [snorts] That's better than the steak.

11:07 That is phenomenal.

11:08 Take a look at this.

11:09 So, this crispiness right here is literally just potato, everybody,

11:14 but I don't know how they are able

11:15 to get this crispiness on this potato here, okay?

11:19 And obviously, with the butter and the crème fraîche on the top,

11:22 it's just to die for, man.

11:24 This is delicious, everybody.

11:26 I don't know what else to say.

11:27 Even the alarms are going off on the neighborhood

11:29 over there because they I that this is criminal.

11:31 Let's go for this pasta.

11:32 I'm going to dig right in.

11:33 Okay, let's go.

11:34 All right.

11:35 Take a look at this pasta.

11:36 Looks nice and creamy and it also doesn't look overcooked.

11:41 Good pasta.

11:42 Very good pasta.

11:43 But I'm being completely honest, this doesn't come close to that.

11:46 There's one more steak to try.

11:48 I want to try this steak.

11:48 Let's go.

11:49 Take a look at this steak right here.

11:50 I did not order this one because Messi doesn't order this one,

11:53 but it looks like a beautiful porterhouse.

11:55 This is the filet mignon side and here we have the New York strip side.

11:58 Here you can immediately tell that this thing

12:00 is nicely medium rare, nicely cooked.

12:04 That's fantastic.

12:05 I'll take it back about Messi.

12:06 Messi, listen to me, my friend.

12:07 When you come here next time, instead of ordering that, order this.

12:10 It has a nice, wonderful flavor [music] of beef,

12:12 nice and fatty, beautiful crust, perfectly medium rare.

12:16 The steak literally dissolves in your mouth when you taking a bite.

12:19 That's delicious.

12:20 So, I went for the filet mignon, which is nice and tender.

12:22 Let's go for this right here.

12:23 Take a look at that, everybody.

12:24 Look how good this looks.

12:25 Cheers.

12:26 [music] That's magical.

12:28 Melts in your mouth, nice crust, extremely fatty.

12:31 It is a Wagyu.

12:33 That is some next level steak right there.

12:35 And I must say, I got to give credit when credit is due.

12:38 It's perfectly cooked.

12:39 Would I do anything differently?

12:40 No.

12:40 It's nicely salted as well.

12:42 That's just perfect.

12:43 There's one more side dish I want to try.

12:44 This is their cream of corn.

12:45 So, I want to go right inside, just like that.

12:49 Take a look at the cream of corn, everybody.

12:52 Wow.

12:53 I've been to a lot of steak houses.

12:54 Not a lot of them leaves me speechless.

12:57 I think you guys got the point.

12:58 We did it, everybody.

12:59 We tried IHOP, Shake Shack.

13:01 We tried Krispy Kreme and we ended up here, Messi's favorite place to eat.

13:06 All of the places were good.

13:08 They were different price range, but it does not matter, everybody.

13:11 You can find good food anywhere, as long as you look for it.

13:15 See you guys on the next one.

13:16 Take care, everybody.

13:17 Bye-bye.
