0:32 And for full disclosure, this is the first time someone has shown me

0:36 an AI tool that I didn't think was completely cringe.

0:39 Like, it's the first time I felt like, oh, this is what AI is for.

0:44 So, we click on this and it asks,

0:46 "What do you want to create?" And it gives you a bunch of suggestions,

0:49 a bunch of things we can already do and those are already really cool.

0:52 I'm going to show you how this works.

0:53 Let's say I wanted to show my stream chat on my stream as an overlay.

0:56 Maybe uh over here on the left side.

0:58 Normally, I'd have to go sift through all the tools.

0:59 I go to stream elements.

1:00 I go to owned.

1:01 I'd see what their chats look like.

1:02 See if any of them looked good to me.

1:04 I'd customize them up a little bit.

1:05 It'd probably take a good hour or two to get everything set up.

1:09 But instead, what I'm going to do here is type this.

1:12 Have it display both Twitch and YouTube.

1:16 Make it slightly transparent.

1:20 Make it Pokemon themed.

1:23 and display some test chats to make sure it looks good.

1:29 Let's see how long this takes.

1:30 It's uh 12:56 right now and it's done.

1:36 That's how easy it is to make widgets now.

1:37 But let's say uh oh shoot.

1:39 Twitch has started cracking down on their really embarrassing toos.

1:44 And I just got done watching Bluey.

1:46 I want to make it bluey.

1:46 remove YouTube from the chat and make it bluey themed.

1:52 In 2 minutes, we've made two different chat widgets.

1:55 This is very exciting.

1:56 This is no longer gatekept by the large

1:58 companies that have programmers that can make

2:00 these when all you want is a widget or a timer or something like that.

2:04 I'm going to make two more of these for you so you can see what you can do here.

2:08 But I want to address something first.

2:09 I want to address generative art, AI art, because this can't really do that.

2:15 What you're seeing here is the most artistic you can possibly make it.

2:18 It can do vector-based graphics, so like shapes.

2:22 And let me show you what I mean.

2:23 I'm going to make a new one real quick.

2:24 Make a sub alert of Pikachu playing a power chord.

2:31 Let me use subtest to be able to try it out.

2:37 It's been about 30 to 45 seconds.

2:39 If I type in subtest, you can see I wouldn't call that Pikachu art.

2:44 Uh, that's the best it can get both artistically and with the audio.

2:48 And I think that's the perfect balance.

2:49 The functional tool is made by the AI,

2:51 but the art needs to be made by a human, which you can do, by the way.

2:58 around with it very minimally to make my own alert.

3:02 So, I've uploaded my own profile picture and I've

3:04 asked it to make it talk and say, "Welcome, Baka," when someone subscribes.

3:15 So, what this means now is artists

3:16 that typically make tools for streamers but then

3:19 need a programmer to help actually make it work is they can come in here,

3:22 they can make it and then in the inspector they can just copy this link and hand

3:27 it off to the person and they have

3:29 a perfectly functioning design made just by the artist.

3:33 This could be a huge tool for artists to design things and then get it

3:36 to work properly because typically getting a custom

3:40 widget requires both the artist and the programmer.

3:42 And it's so cumbersome and so expensive that only

3:45 the top tier elite streamers can even do something like this.

3:50 But let me show you two more here.

3:51 Let's make a new chat.

3:52 Make a subathon widget in the top left corner.

3:57 Make it a countdown timer that starts

4:02 at 1 hour and every time someone subscribes.

4:07 Add 1 minute.

4:42 It's been a rough day and I want them to have something to do.

4:44 I want to keep them occupied.

4:45 Okay, here's the prompt.

4:46 Make a trivia game that asks trivia about Pokémon.

4:49 Show four answers for every question.

4:50 When a person answers,

4:52 a little avatar with their name appears next to the answer.

4:55 Keep individual score and show the top 10 scores on the screen.

4:59 Each question has 10 seconds to answer.

5:01 Show a countdown timer.

5:04 So, which Pokemon is number one?

5:05 Everybody knows that's Bulbasaur.

5:07 And look, a little icon.

5:08 It doesn't show their name.

5:09 So, looks like it got it like 95% correct.

5:17 And then I can move it wherever I want.

5:19 Shows up as another whole layer over here.

5:20 And sure, this has always been doable with coding and programmers.

5:23 And you can still do that.

5:24 But not only does it take weeks,

5:26 but most streamers aren't making any money off of streaming,

5:28 and it can be really expensive.

5:30 So, not only can I make this myself, but it means that every single stream,

5:34 I can have a slightly different or a completely

5:37 different game for my chat to play.

5:38 Maybe next time I go live, I want to make a little excite bite thing with all

5:42 my viewers as little square bike riders jumping over hurdles,

5:45 which I made the other week when I first tested this out.

5:47 Or maybe on Christmas, I want to make my chat overlay red and green.

5:51 And you can do that with a single sentence.

5:52 I think because it's AI, we're going to see some negative push back.

5:54 I'm expecting to see some negative comments in the chat.

5:56 And you know what?

5:57 That's fair.

5:57 But I think this is the most empowering tool that both

6:00 streamers and artists have had in a really long time.

6:04 And I think we're about to see Twitch

6:06 streams start to get really custom really easily.

6:10 There is a free tier of this and you can go sign up

6:12 for that today and start using it today and you can use it forever.

6:15 There are going to be limits on the free tier, but as of today talking to them,

6:18 they haven't figured out exactly what those are.

6:21 But anything that you make once, you can use forever without hitting

6:26 your limits because once it's made, it's made.

6:33 to want to tweak this every time they go live and make changes on the fly.
