1:33 and then Dallas would take that draft capital and presumably sign a receiver.

1:37 The fact that he signed it after the draft

1:39 tells me he is 100% there for the year.

1:42 It just wouldn't make sense for the way

1:43 the Dallas Cowboys are built to trade George Pickkins after

1:47 the draft knowing there's really not a lot of receiver

1:49 options out there which is great news for the Cowboys.

1:52 It's better news from the standpoint now he has to be at mandatory mini camp.

1:55 He has to be at training camp which gives him

1:57 and the Cowboys the best chance to be successful for the season.

2:36 Let's see it again and then we'll talk." I hope that that's the way he sees it.

5:30 This is second phase of offseason workouts.

5:41 And so one of the things you worry about, and we just saw with Jason Tatum,

5:46 from an Achilles and unfortunately hurts his knee.

5:51 with Patrick Mahomes is does he get a soft tissue injury?

5:54 And I would air on the abundance of caution.

5:56 Look, if we were the Chiefs, I'd rather go one and three in September

6:04 But again, we're talking about Patrick Mahomes.

6:06 And I just think taking our time and making sure

6:08 that all these other ancillary issues are minimized as well.

7:04 Obviously, Bo Nicks should come back from the injury he sustained last year.

7:08 Um they added Jaylen Wild on the trade,

7:10 which is to me is a big boost to that wide receiving core.

7:13 They got a lot of pieces coming back.

7:16 So for me, I'll I'll take the uh the Denver Broncos.

7:19 And here's what I would say about the Kansas City Chiefs.

7:21 We know that Patrick Mahomes sustained that ACL injury.

7:24 They've added a ton of guys.

7:25 I think a ton of, you know, high quality athletic speed on the defensive side.

7:30 How fast can those guys gel on that side of the ball

7:33 to allow Patrick Mahomes to kind of catch up from that injury he sustained?

7:37 Yeah, I love what they did in the draft.

7:38 Again, they got Mansor Delane to replace Trent McDuffy.

7:42 They got Peter Woods.

7:43 they got are Mason Thomas.

7:44 So, I think they got the pieces they needed.

7:46 I agree with Dwood.

7:47 It may not come back overnight, but that that is a heck of a draft

7:49 and you are attacking need after need after need.

7:52 So, look, I think by the end of the season, if these players, you know,

7:56 come back to where uh if they develop the way they can and again,

7:59 Lane to me has a chance to be an outstanding corner, they're skilled players.

8:04 They're going to have to play better and more consistent,

8:06 but the pieces are there for them to win the division.

8:08 Well, Dan Graciano, I keep hearing people say the Chiefs need something to make

8:12 their offense look a little bit more like it did when they had Tyreek Hill.

8:15 And the answer might be, could they get Tyreek Hill?

8:18 They could.

8:18 He's a free agent.

8:19 And that that's certainly been speculated on.

8:20 We don't know where he is in his injury recovery.

8:23 That's what I mean.

8:23 Is Tyreek Hill still Tyreek Hill?

8:25 I would think probably no.

8:26 He's on the wrong side of 30 and and but I

8:28 mean he can still assuming he comes back to full health,

8:31 he can still run and maybe that would give them something they haven't had.

8:34 you know, the offensive skill group I other than

8:36 Kenneth Walker doesn't look a lot different from last year,

8:39 but they made significant changes on their coaching

8:42 staff on that side of the ball.

8:43 Like like five or six positions were replaced on that side of the ball.

8:47 So, the hope is that that there's an infusion uh

8:50 on that end of it that helps bring everybody around.

8:53 I feel like if I'm Patrick Mahomes and come back from the injury,

8:56 all that, got three Super Bowl rings,

8:57 get it all that, everything could life could not possibly better be.

9:00 But there's a part of me that feels like saying I'm tired of having

9:03 to have everyone say look at the way

9:04 Mahomes will just figure everything else out.

9:06 We got to get the defense right.

9:08 He'll just carry everything over the they I think that at some

9:10 point they need to put something on his side of the ball.

9:13 I I thought they might take Kenyan Sadique.

9:15 I thought they might take Jordan Thomas.

9:16 I thought they uh I thought they might take one of the other Tyson,

9:20 excuse me, Jordan Tyson.

9:21 I thought they might take one of the other offensive skill position players.

9:24 I mean, listen, there was a lot of speculation

9:26 of that, but I think to Graciano's point,

9:28 when you, you know, switch out so many uh different coaches,

9:31 I think they're relying more so on developing talent,

9:34 having some of these younger guys

9:35 taking another step forward in that development.

9:38 And some of those guys, you know,

9:40 uh they'll be able to create the explosive plays rather than

9:43 maybe we should have shouldn't have added other pieces to the puzzle.

9:46 They also did spend 14 million a year on a running back.

9:48 I mean, like that's Walker is a significant addition to that offense.

9:51 Now, they just need to actually hand him the ball.

10:10 and he wanted no part of answering them.

10:12 He just basically kept saying,

10:14 "I've got a job to do." Everyone is everyone knows what no one will say,

10:18 which is that AJ Brown is going to be traded.

10:21 And the question is, have they done enough to fill the vacuum?

10:26 I mean, he's a big he leaves a big space behind.

10:28 Dwood, do you believe with the additions of Mai Lemon in the draft and all

10:32 these other players they've drafted that they

10:34 have done enough to replace AJ Brown?

10:38 Well, listen, I mean, they've added some quality players,

10:40 but I think this is more so about

10:41 Jaylen Herz going into yet another offensive system.

10:44 We know that Shawn Manion comes over, the new offensive coordinator comes over

10:48 from the Green A Packers and this offense going

10:50 to look very different from what we've

10:51 seen from the Philadelphia Eagles in years prior.

10:54 Years prior, we will see them basically chuck

10:56 the ball outside outside the numbers of AJ Brown.

10:58 Just basically throwing go balls and stuff out there.

11:00 This offense going to be more of inside the numbers.

11:03 That's why you're going to go get a Mai Limmon,

11:05 but that's not something that a that uh that Jaylen

11:08 Herz has really done a lot of throughout his career.

11:11 So my question is I want to see what

11:13 the transition is going to look like in this new offense.

11:16 Yeah, for me uh here's the big question.

11:18 If you think about group of receivers as like a basketball team,

11:20 AJ Brown was a power forward.

11:22 The question is they have a lot of good players here.

11:26 Greeny after AJ Brown's gone, Davius Wixs is the biggest at 206 all the way down

11:32 to 170 with a really good player in Devonte Devonte Smith.

11:36 So the question is going to be is who can take some of that physicality

11:39 that they're going to need to be successful

11:41 as D would allude to going across the middle.

11:43 I'm not saying they can't, but that's a big question mark going into camp.

11:48 Like this is a Heisman Trophy winner, 10th pick in the draft.

11:55 like that offense is going to look a lot different.

11:57 Even if AJ Brown was still there, it would have looked a lot different.
