0:25 fluent grammar, excellent pronunciation, and you are speaking yourself.

0:30 That's essential.

0:31 And if you're new here, hi, I'm Vanessa from speakenglishwithvanessa.com.

1:30 listening, and repeating that happens during today's lesson.

1:39 You can listen to this while you're driving,

1:41 while you're doing the dishes, while you're walking the dog.

1:44 This is going to be an excellent way for you

1:46 to repeat today's lesson and continue to improve your speaking skills.

2:31 So, how does today's listen and repeat lesson work?

2:35 We're going to be talking about 30 commonly used everyday

2:40 sentences to talk about how your day at work went.

2:45 Oftentimes when you come home from work,

2:47 someone in your family might ask you this question.

2:50 How was your day?

2:52 Or how was your day at work?

2:54 Well, you're going to want some sentences to talk about your day at work, right?

2:58 We're going to be talking about some ways

3:00 to talk about a good day at work and then

3:03 we'll talk about some sentences for a bad day

3:06 at work because both of those are the reality, right?

3:10 I'm going to say the sentence and I will pause.

3:12 I want you to repeat and say the sentence exactly with me

3:16 and then I will say the sentence again and I will pause again.

3:20 There will be a lot of pauses and repeating.

3:22 I want you to try to listen to my voice, speak out loud during the pause,

3:28 and then try to repeat exactly while I'm speaking.

3:31 This is an excellent way to imitate the vocabulary,

3:35 the pronunciation, the sentence structure.

3:38 You can do it.

3:38 And I hope that no matter what your job is,

3:41 some of these sentences will be relevant to you.

3:44 And as an English learner, they are all relevant.
