Ultimate Off-Grid Camper Van Build: Sound System Upgrade
Konstantin
0:00 My mate Jack has not seen the van in how long?
0:03 A long time.
0:03 We were filming like last July when it was nice and sunny out
0:06 here and this van was in a bit of a state, wasn't it?
0:08 He didn't even have windows.
0:09 The interior is being worked on as you can see.
0:12 Conor likes to whack these on when he does um 90
0:14 mph on the um in the 30 in a school zone.

0:25 This is I'm working on Angry Ginger's Buff Boy setup.
0:28 Yep.
0:28 So, I'm literally going there in a couple days
0:30 and I've packed my van full of like standing desk desktop.
0:34 This is from like a different shoot, but this storage bin has been very handy.
0:37 I've got a drawer that comes out.
0:39 Yeah.
0:39 You know, bits that I tend to just leave on set or lose.
0:42 I've just quickly chuck it.
0:43 Like your TV remote.
0:44 My TV remote.
0:45 Yeah.
0:45 I don't know what happened.
0:48 Essentials.
0:47 There's a little gap here.
0:48 I actually have
0:50 I actually have an underlung water tank.
0:52 I'm going to have a sink.
0:53 I'm also going to have this little area where I can connect
0:56 a hose pipe and then use it as like an outdoor shower.
1:00 Oh, nice.
1:01 Okay.
1:01 And it's not just cold water.
1:03 I have a water heater in there.
1:05 So, I will be able to have hot water.
1:06 So, you know what that tells me?
1:08 You want to take this off road.
1:09 You want to take this camping, don't you?
1:11 Yeah.
1:11 I'm leading all of these videos is me leading up
1:14 to me going away somewhere nice taking my anamorphic lens.
1:17 I need to stuck it stick an air tag on you so I know where you are.
1:20 Um, and what I really wanted to show you today is
1:23 the front of the cab and what I got done there.
1:25 All right, we'll come back to Jack's reaction
1:27 in a second because before I show him the upgrade,
1:29 I need to show you what we actually done.
1:32 Yeah, know that vibrated all of my bones.
1:35 A couple of episodes ago,
1:36 I headed down to South Coast Vehicle Security where we met Mark and he
1:40 hooked the van up with a full security system and an Apple CarPlay screen.
1:45 But Mark possesses another specialtity, which is noise.
1:50 Noise.
1:50 Yeah, we're doing noise.
1:51 So, I thought if we're upgrading the van properly,
1:53 we've got to level up the sound system, too.
1:55 When I first came down to you, I found out you do audio stuff.
1:59 I gave you a brief of I want it to feel like a home cinema system.
2:03 Walk me through what we're going to do.
2:05 So, we've got going in your car.
2:07 We will have a 12 channel amplifier full DSP.
2:11 So, every channel will be separated.
2:13 similar speaker setup to this one.
2:15 So you're going to have 1in tweeters, 3-in mid-range in your Apillars.
2:19 So we're going to custom make the Apillars, 6inch midbase in your door.
2:22 Then we're going to have an amplified subbox
2:26 behind your seat to give you a nice feel.
2:28 Eventually when you finish the back end,
2:30 we'll have two sets of auton speakers in the rear
2:34 to give you that cinema feel and central position.
2:38 And today we're going to be installing majority of that.
2:40 Are we?
2:41 We're going to do trim the custom A-pillars,
2:43 put fit the Apillars ready for everything else.
2:45 Subbox, we can wire, get positioned, and same with the amplifier.
2:49 We get that wired and positioned.
2:50 It will come with a really nice controller,
2:52 but you don't have the position for that yet, so we can't put that put in.
2:56 But yeah, we will have sound today.
2:58 So, my journey back home.
3:00 You'll enjoy it.
3:00 I'll enjoy it.
3:01 You'll enjoy it.
3:02 Okay.
3:02 I'll start making my playlist now as well.
3:04 So, behind the scenes, uh, Mark has actually already taken my van on a separate
3:09 day and he's done all the wiring in there.
3:11 Now, do you just want to quickly run through the wiring?
3:14 The reason we didn't record that process is because according to Mark,
3:17 it's boring.
3:18 I I mean, I like to see everything.
3:20 Fair enough.
3:21 If he says it's boring, I will trust it.
3:23 So, what have you done here?
3:25 So, we've got most of your cabling down.
3:27 So, you've got your front door speakers, your tweeters on both sides,
3:30 your 3-in speakers on both sides are all there.
3:32 Your inputs are both there.
3:34 One of them is going to be your output to the subbox,
3:36 which will be that end of the vehicle.
3:38 So, my subbox is going right where my pillow is.
3:40 Right where your pillow is there.
3:42 It's next to the fridge.
3:43 Everything will be into there.
3:45 I've decided to get rid of the bulkhead basically.
3:47 You lot.
3:47 No bulkhead because my seat I like to, as you can see,
3:50 I like to put it quite back.
3:51 This is like how I like to have it.
3:53 So, it will stay like that, which has created
3:55 a little space for the subbox right over there.
3:58 Driving comfort.
3:59 Yes.
3:59 And then what you've done,
4:02 we've made some custom A-pillars, which you can't actually see right now.
4:06 An Apillar is what for people that don't like I never knew what an Apillar is.
4:10 Plastic trim.
4:11 This is your Apillar of the car.
4:13 So this is where your strength beam is.
4:14 This would be your B, C, and then D at the back.
4:17 Got you.
4:18 So in the Apillar, there's speakers in there.
4:20 There is you have one tweeter when you came here originally.
4:23 Now you can have a nice 3-in custom speaker and 1
4:26 in slightly angled towards you just to give you that nice feel.
4:30 And you said your wife's car has the exact same setup.
4:33 She has very similar builds to you.
4:35 So both cars outside have all got apillars in and you've been in them.
4:38 So you have that music at the top.
4:40 Can I get a sneak peek of how it's going to look in her car?
4:43 I'm sure we can do that.
4:44 You're having same as that amplifier 12 channel.
4:47 Well, how comes there's two in there?
4:48 This one runs the base unit.
4:50 This one runs all the speakers in the rest of the car.
4:52 Wait, so she's got two amplifiers.
4:53 Two amplifiers.
4:54 That's a bit greedy.
4:55 Well, more speakers, more sound, and more bass.
4:58 Yeah.
4:58 So, you'll have the 12 channel.
5:00 You've got an amplifier built into your subbox.
5:02 So,
5:03 Wow, these look incredible.
5:04 So, that is what you're going to have in yours.
5:07 Different grills, different tweeters, but very similar.
5:11 That looks badass.
5:12 What?
5:13 I'm going to have that in a van.
5:14 Yep.
5:15 Crystal clear and you'll hear all of your music.
5:18 The other thing we'll do is soundproof your doors properly so it's solid.
5:22 Oh wow.
5:23 We're doing that today as well.
5:24 We're doing that today.
5:24 All the music is coming into your car.
5:26 Oh mate.
5:26 Yes.
5:27 I'm so excited.
5:28 That is all being done.
5:30 Another thing I'm really excited for and it's
5:31 going to sound very loserish is some plug sockets.
5:35 But I can't get that done until I get all the furniture done.
5:37 So Ollie, you're coming up next.
5:40 I think one thing I've got to, you know,
5:42 decide by the end of today as well is what is going to be
5:45 my first song that I'm going to play in the van when I bop out.
5:49 Actually, you need to start that.
5:50 So, we're going to set it up for that.
5:51 I've got an idea.
5:52 I'll tell you guys about it a bit later.
5:54 Oh, I might I might drop hints from where you might recognize the song from.
5:58 It's very wicked.
6:00 I was just giving it away, didn't I?
6:02 So, first step, I'm going to take door panels off.
6:05 Yeah.
6:05 Oh, we soundproofing the doors first.
6:06 Soundroofing the doors first.
6:07 You're soundproofing.
6:08 I'm very familiar with this stuff because in episode one of the build,
6:12 that'll be your new speaker pods, old speakers out for the door.
6:15 Yep.
6:15 They go in behind the door.
6:16 Speaker pods, old ones out, new one in.
6:19 Right.
6:19 Round one, start stripping.
6:22 Fine.
6:22 Step one, pull all the plugs out, release, review all the screws.
6:25 So, from next step, we'll get the screwdriver
6:27 and we'll get you to take the door panel off.
6:30 Nice.
6:36 This isn't therapy.
6:42 All right.
6:43 And that is panel one off.
6:45 And this is how it looks like behind it.
6:48 So we've got what's this white stuff?
6:50 Just like insulation or that is just a vapor membrane.
6:53 Oh, vapor membrane over here.
6:55 And this is our speaker.
6:57 Yep.
6:57 So you see the other the pod same shape?
7:00 Yes.
7:00 So when we take that off, we'll put the new one on.
7:02 A lot more solid.
7:03 New speaker in.
7:04 Easy as that.
7:05 We're going to do a soundproof test.
7:07 So, this is the state of the doors.
7:09 Not soundproofed right now.
7:12 As you can hear, hopefully is translating on video.
7:15 Just does sound like a tin can.
7:16 Very hollow and echoey.
7:18 And the reason we soundproof it is
7:20 stop road noise, antiibration, and to push the sound into the car.
7:24 Warm up all the pads.
7:25 Yeah.
7:26 Extremely sticky
7:29 inside
7:29 inside the back of the door.
7:30 We're going to try and do total coverage of the door.
7:33 Roll it all into place.
7:35 Yeah.
7:36 Like I said, you know,
7:37 I had my fair share of doing that all over this ceiling in episode one.
7:47 So, the brand of this is called Skins.
7:50 Uh, how does this compare to like something like Dodo Mat?
7:53 So, most of Dodo is for camper vans,
7:56 sound insulation, where Skins is designed for audio reflection.
8:00 All right, we're now going to do a little soundproof
8:02 test after the panels have now been put in here.
8:05 Look at that.
8:05 They're all Mark has uh spent quite some time here sticking them to the door.
8:11 First up, the way the door sounds when it's shut.
8:15 That just sounds like an expensive car.
8:17 Expensive job.
8:18 And now we do the knock test.
8:19 Hang on, let me get my mic.
8:28 Yeah, but like it
8:33 just that shutting sound and the door's not complete.
8:36 We'll put some wave liner in there, which is the blue stuff.
8:39 Wave liner.
8:39 So that disperses the back wave of a speaker.
8:42 So when the speaker bounces, you get negative energy at the back.
8:45 That disperses it and you get a clean sound.
8:48 That's such a comforting like material like like a little stress relief.
8:51 You enjoy that.
8:53 I can take this with me.
8:54 You can add that.
8:54 I'm going to stick it on my window
8:56 and that will be your base box.
8:59 So, upside down.
9:02 I'm going behind my seat.
9:04 Your seat.
9:04 Am I going to feel it in places?
9:06 I'm going to 10-in bass box, built-in amplifier.
9:10 So, if you've got a built-in amplifier, why do I need
9:12 the other amplifiers to do your front door speakers,
9:15 your rear speakers, your rear rear speakers?
9:17 Oh, right.
9:18 So, we're going to have a lot of power.
9:20 It's all controlled DSP, so this will be controlled by your other amplifier,
9:23 but we're limited on space.
9:24 So, we can't put two separate amplifiers in.
9:26 Got you.
9:26 So, where are we putting the other amplifier?
9:28 Under the seat.
9:29 Under the passenger seat.
9:30 Yeah, under the passenger seat.
9:31 Yeah.
9:32 Nice.
9:32 So, what's this, Mark?
9:33 That's your new tweeter.
9:34 And that is going to be replacing
9:36 that one.
9:37 This one.
9:37 Oh, wow.
9:38 So, does size matter?
9:40 Size matters always.
9:42 Plus, how they're constructed.
9:44 This one looks so much cooler as well.
9:46 It is.
9:46 It's the little details that make everything feel properly finished.
9:50 Clean design, everything working together.
9:52 And that same thinking actually applies to building a website, too.
9:56 Squarespace is a website building platform.
9:58 So whether you need to build yourself a portfolio
10:00 or way to take bookings or even sell products,
10:03 their tools and templates make it super
10:05 easy to create professionallook websites in minutes.
10:08 I actually use Squarespace to run my own business, Icon Studios.
10:11 It's a production space I provide for film and video creators.
10:14 And on my site, clients can explore the studio,
10:16 check availability, and book directly through the calendar system.
10:20 All my payments are handled automatically by Squarespace.
10:23 So, I don't even need to worry about invoices or any other admin.
10:26 Building the site itself was really
10:28 straightforward thanks to their fluid engine editor.
10:30 It's all drag and drop and the end result looks
10:32 professional without me having to learn a single line of code.
10:35 And if that sounds like something you're interested
10:37 in, check out the link in my description.
10:39 You can get a 14-day free trial and when you're ready to launch,

10:44 your first purchase of a website or a domain.
10:46 Mark's just showing me some of his other customer builds.
10:50 It's only just hit me now that there's loads
10:51 of enthusiasts that go to shows and stuff like that.
10:55 Ko's coming back.
10:56 So, the Max Power Days are all coming back.
10:59 Yeah.
10:58 Big speakers everywhere.
10:59 Boots full of speakers.
11:01 So, if I was to pull up to a car show,
11:03 they'd appreciate exactly what you've got.
11:04 They'd let me in.
11:05 They'd let you in.
11:06 Okay, cool.
11:07 Equipment you're having is high-end.
11:08 Very high.
11:09 Yeah.
11:09 Yeah.
11:09 Yeah.
11:09 Yeah.
11:10 Sick.
11:10 So, Rolls-Royce won't have anything on this.
11:14 Wow.
11:14 That's how good it's going to be.
11:15 Wow.
11:15 Okay,
11:16 it is going to be better than Rolls-Royce.
11:18 So, that's your tweeter.
11:19 That's going to do your high-end sound with tambourines and symbols and things.
11:23 And this is the MP 28.
11:26 So, that's your mid-range speaker.
11:27 So, those your voices,
11:29 everything in the mid-range of the sound system that you don't get in cars.
11:32 Oh, this is a heavy box.
11:33 And this is from Audison.
11:35 That is your Forza DSP amplifier.
11:37 So, that's 12 channels for all your speakers.
11:40 How much is this that I'm holding in my hand?
11:42 That's about £1,400.
11:44 Wow.
11:44 Okay, I'm just going to place that down on the floor carefully.
11:48 Also, don't know if you guys noticed, but look at that little cool cover plates.
11:54 I got to give a big shout out to AJ who I met at Kon Valley Campers.
11:58 He had like an ambulance build that he showed me and then
12:01 he said his friend aka the regge doctor does regge plates and yeah,
12:06 he hooked me up with some really nice plates,
12:08 some gel plates for the actual van.
12:11 and also got me some show plates cuz they noticed I like to blur my license
12:15 plate out on videos and uh that is a hard job sometimes doing it frame by frame,
12:19 you know, and tracking all the movement.
12:21 Sometimes I miss it.
12:22 This is a very nice touch.
12:23 Thank you very much.
12:24 Check out the edge doctor.
12:26 So that is your new A-pillar which house your mid-range and your tweeter.
12:30 So it will sit in the side of your car.
12:31 This is going to be your new material cover.
12:33 So this is like a foam padding.
12:35 Oh, no.
12:35 This is the whole This is the old This is the whole thing.
12:39 And it's like foam padded.
12:40 Very nice.
12:41 And that's you just that's going to stick over the pillar.
12:44 That's it.
12:44 Impact spray.
12:45 So impact from one to the other.
12:47 So we'll tacky that one.
12:48 Tacky this one and cover it over.
13:00 Oh yes.
13:02 So this is my Wow.
13:04 This looks so sick.
13:06 So, this bottom one's not going to have a grill.
13:08 It's going to look like that, right?
13:11 Yep.
13:10 That's so cool.
13:11 I'm a big fan of that.
13:12 And then behind this is how it looks like.
13:15 So, again, this blue stuff, what was it called again, Mark?
13:18 Wave liner.
13:19 Wave liner.
13:20 Right.
13:20 Go on.
13:20 You spray.
13:22 You spray that up.
13:28 I need loads.
13:29 Just All right.
13:37 So, this is my new speaker and this is the old factory one.
13:41 Tell us the difference.
13:42 Run run run run run us through.
13:43 Quick breathing foam surround paper cone.
13:46 It's obviously got rubber surround cone that's going
13:49 to withstand weather and you turn them around.
13:51 So, this is a water resistant one you said as well.
13:53 Yeah.
13:54 So, why would I need a water resistant one in a van?
13:56 It's in the door.
13:56 It's in the door.
13:57 So, where you got Oh, okay.
13:58 So, like if I open it and it rains in Yeah.
14:00 You'll get hot, get cold, cold.
14:03 You think of a leaf, the leaf condensation as well.
14:05 That's it.
14:06 Where this one, a lot more protected.
14:08 And I noticed the magnets.
14:09 This magnets way more chunkier.
14:11 This makes this one a lot heavier than the other one feels a lot more premium.
14:16 Magnet is going to help the speaker move in and out quicker.
14:18 So, it's charging, discharging as the music goes,
14:21 where this one's not going to cope with it.
14:22 You get a much better bass response having a decent cast.
14:25 So, you know, when I blast my speakers and I can hear them go like they've got,
14:30 you know, smoker's lungs.
14:32 That's cuz it can't keep up.
14:33 It can't keep up with the excursion rate as well.
14:36 It can't.
14:37 There's not any travel on that speaker.
14:39 Well, there you can see it's got a lot of travel.
15:00 There you go.
15:00 This is my subwoofer.
15:01 It's been tucked between my fridge and my back seat over there.
15:05 Uh Mark, you've cabled it all up and stuff.
15:07 It is.
15:08 It's ready to go.
15:09 We're trying to find the connection cable for the sub and we power it all up.
15:13 So hopefully not too long.
15:16 We made so much noise.
15:17 He didn't like it.
15:18 Subwoofers in.
15:18 Amplifiers in.
15:19 So we're now going to tune the amplifier.
15:21 We'll put mic in.
15:22 Be really quiet.
15:23 It will select each speaker, pulse each speaker,
15:25 and then give us a time delay on each speaker, and then we can start tuning.
15:29 Mark's placed this special microphone in, and from what I understand,
15:33 this mic is going to receive a signal or a sound from each speaker,
15:37 and then it's going to do clever computer stuff and figure out
15:40 the right balance of what speaker should be set at what level.
15:44 Did I get that right?
15:46 That's basically it.
15:46 Yeah.
15:47 So, right now, we have to be totally quiet and let it run its test.
15:50 it.
15:51 This is probably one of the hardest things
15:53 for you guys to sort of also feel uh because
15:56 sound doesn't quite translate the same when I'm just
16:00 recording it on like my lapel mic and I'm here.
16:03 You know, it always sounds better in person.
16:05 All right.
16:07 All right.
16:08 It's making me want to move like this.
16:10 It's making me want to buy a bottle of wine and take it back home to Kirsty.
16:13 Oh, the bass.
16:15 The bass.
16:16 Mark, stop that.
16:17 These frequencies are doing something to my body.
16:20 What?
16:21 No.
16:22 No.
16:23 This is crazy.
16:25 The way I'm going to be pulling up to set is going to be it's going to be crazy.
16:33 You want to enjoy the drive?
16:34 Yeah.
16:34 It's all right.
16:41 We're going to do quick tune to your taste, the temporary until you come back.
16:45 Do the rear speakers.
16:46 make it all finalized you.
16:48 So when you say rear speakers, just to show people, right,
16:51 I am eventually also having speakers installed
16:54 in these parts of my doors, right?
16:56 The lower bit.
16:57 Uh and then where are the other two going?
16:59 Like literally up there with the bulkhead up here.
17:03 Yeah.
17:02 Either in the doors or in the top.
17:04 Not sure yet.
17:04 So you're saying either there
17:06 or you can have both
17:06 or here?
17:07 We can do both.
17:08 Both up there and there.
17:09 Uh in the cabinet at the top.
17:10 Oh, in the cabinet up top.
17:12 Yep.
17:12 So when you're in here watching a film Yeah.
17:15 You got the full surround sound system.
17:17 Nice.
17:18 Yeah, I wasn't I forgot that you were going to add me some there.
17:22 So, for now, I'm going to go jump in the seat and then we'll
17:24 fine tune it around me when I'm driving and then possibly in future episodes,
17:28 we'll, you know, finish them off once I finish my interior off.
17:30 Right, that's it.
17:31 So, we're all waiting for the interior.
17:33 Yeah, we wait for that.
17:34 I better get a crack on with that.
17:36 Right.
17:36 I think the first song I want to listen to in here, Jungle is massive.
17:40 I've been dropping hints throughout the video.
17:42 Got that.
17:43 Good selection, right?
17:44 Who done that one?
17:46 Um, Ali G, is it?
17:49 No, it's um, General Levi.
17:51 So, I'm going to be here.
17:52 I'm going to be driving.
17:53 That's crispy.
17:57 What?
17:56 So, we can tailor it to make it sound loads of different ways.
17:59 Let's adjust it a bit.
18:03 Yeah.
18:03 The Diddy Free version, everyone.
18:05 All right.
18:06 Rocking up to a YouTube set like It's open.
18:16 Oh, wow.
18:18 Can I get in the club, sir?
18:21 No, not today, dude.
18:27 Denied.
18:26 Oh, that's so sick.
18:27 That is a new upgrade for Vanie Devito.
18:31 Soundproof.
18:31 Put it together,
18:32 dude.
18:32 Yeah, this is crazy progress for anybody
18:34 that doesn't quite understand this world.
18:37 Um, you know, cabling was done, pillars were done, soundproofed the doors,
18:42 fitted some stuff in, wired it up, and got it up and running.
18:46 Uh, all from today.
18:48 Well, Mark has been working on it in the background,
18:50 but today we've done a lot of progress.
18:52 I am very proud here of Van DeVito.
18:55 That is another upgrade in the bag.
18:58 And next, I guess I need to tackle
19:00 like all the interior fittings because then we can
19:03 move on with the rest of the speakers
19:04 and finishing off all the other electronic work in there.
19:07 I still have a long way to go.
19:09 I am being occupied with other work right now as well.
19:12 So, this is kind of uh I'm balancing this with work
19:16 life and then eventually when the weather's nice in the UK,
19:19 I will take Vanny Devito out onto
19:22 a trip somewhere and just enjoy peace and quiet.
19:27 And because the windows are tinted,
19:28 you can just park this in a car park and then
19:30 just like sleep in public places without getting a premier in.
19:32 Not just that, Jack, but when you want some privacy, little shades.
19:39 And because this one actually opens up,
19:41 if you want to like keep all the bugs out in the summertime,
19:44 it's got like a little bug net as well.
19:46 So when you are sleeping in the car park,
19:48 people can't peer in and go, "Oh my god, is that Con Films?
19:50 Is he falling?" They'll be able to tell by my license.
19:54 Yeah.
19:54 So shut that door for us.
19:56 turn my little light switch on.
19:58 Now, guys, uh, anyone judging the cable management right now,
20:01 this isn't complete.
20:02 It's not finished.
20:03 Don't worry.
20:03 This will be hidden away.
20:05 The seats are very plush.
20:07 Yeah, the other ones, I'm not going to lie, they were quite old.
20:09 They did smell like they had the farts baked into them,
20:12 whereas these ones look very fart repellent.
20:15 They heated as well, Jack.
20:16 Are they heated?
20:17 Bloody hell.
20:18 This man does like the finer things in life, I tell you.
20:20 Don't get that in my vaual course.
20:22 Oh, and I love this song as well.
20:25 Have you noticed anything else in the interior?
20:30 Speakers.
20:31 They look different.
20:32 Yeah.
20:32 This is all This is like velvety.
20:34 This is very nice.
20:35 I want to rub my face on it.
20:37 No, no, no.
20:38 Maybe not touch it too much with your greasy little face.
20:41 You always told me I look really fresh.
20:42 I was off camera, but Jack's had a couple days off of like filming and
20:47 which never happens.
20:48 Which never happens.
20:48 He's like usually got such a tight schedule and he's got
20:51 a couple days off and he looks like he's had a bath.
20:53 These cream time for a wash.
20:57 That's great.
20:57 Yeah, these are the new speakers that Mark has installed.
21:00 Tweeters for clarity.
21:01 So, I'm going to have like proper clarity as well as loud noise.
21:05 And in the doors, we've soundproofed the doors.
21:07 He's padded them up.
21:09 He's put extra padding in there.
21:11 So, from the outside when you knock on the door, it doesn't sound as hollow.
21:14 And that's all in order to direct all the sound back into the cab.
21:17 In a future episode, I'm going to link back up with him and we're
21:20 going to change my floor because where this was a two-seater,
21:24 it's kind of exposed all this.
21:26 Mhm.
21:26 So, I've got a new mat.
21:27 We're going to take this old one up.
21:29 We're going to soundproof it.
21:32 Yeah.
21:31 And then um yeah, make it sound even more.
21:33 So, how much work have you got left to do?
21:35 I'd say loads still cuz the whole interior needs a job.
21:38 I feel like it's like a never never thing, isn't it?
21:40 Like you're always going to think of something
21:41 else that you want to upgrade or add to that as well.
21:44 like to really tie it into place and for me to be happy with it,
21:46 I want to be able to have my sink, hot water,
21:49 and I want to have plug sockets put in places.
21:52 Cuz right now, I've got a sick electrical system,
21:54 but I've got no way to access it.
21:56 Right now, the only way I'm using it is USB ports,
21:59 but it's so much better than that.
22:01 I've got like actual plug sockets that I'm going to be able to install.
22:04 I'm going to be able to put in an air fryer,
22:07 you know, charge my laptop properly.
22:09 This brings me on to playing some of the some this song for you.
22:13 I can't wait to like absolutely blast down
22:16 the um the motorway blaring out yellow piss top volume.
22:20 What's this is up here as well.
22:22 This your light.
22:22 This is the control for my roof rack.
22:24 So this is the front light beam and this is
22:26 the back lights and these two are unassigned right now.
22:29 But these are going to be for my audio system so
22:32 I can power it and have it on on my leisure battery.
22:35 Help me help.
22:36 I'm in I'm I'm in com films van and he won't let me out.
22:41 He's forcing me to film for him on my day off.
22:44 Oh, this seat rotates as well.
22:45 This is weird.
22:46 So, I can sit and face you like this while you're driving.
22:48 I don't know why.
22:49 I've never I've never sat like this next to the driver before.
22:53 Mate, you're right.
22:54 So, like really spin it around fully cuz it face it faces the other way.
22:57 Uh you just have to get out and do it.
22:59 But the van's a bit full up right now.
23:01 That would have been terrifying when I was a kid.
23:03 Me and my sister arguing in the back.
23:04 If my dad could have just span his chair around so he's facing us and been like,
23:08 I'll turn this car around.
23:10 And then behind you there's like a little table feature.
23:12 So you can like put a table up and
23:14 you can have dinner on the seats you're sitting at right now.
23:17 Lovely, mate.
23:18 Big changes.
23:18 What's the next big upgrade?
23:20 Just really finishing off this interior.
23:22 See how there's like loose cables everywhere.
23:25 Uh I need to sort out my ceiling.
23:27 I need to sort out this countertop here.
23:29 Add a sink in.
23:31 Yeah.
23:31 Connect everything together.
23:32 It sounds easy, but that's going to take Doesn't sound easy to me.
23:35 Multiple multiple days.
23:36 Sounds like a lot of work.
23:38 Oh, wait.
23:39 I haven't even shown you the sound system.
23:43 Ready?
23:43 Yep.
23:48 Oh, I love it.
23:49 Oh, wow.
23:49 That place.
23:51 You said that.
23:54 Yeah.
23:54 Know that vibrated all of my bones.
23:57 It's like a massage chair now.
23:59 I dropped my camera.
24:00 All right.
24:01 See you guys in the next episode.
24:02 Taa.
