Jeremiyah Love Cardinals Fantasy Value + Jadarian Price Seahawks | 2026 Draft Rankings Impact
Fantasy Football Today
0:00 All right, Dave.
0:02 Jeremiah Love.
0:03 Let's compare him to Harold Fannon Jr.
0:09 When are you drafting Jeremiah Love?
0:11 I will draft Jeremiah Love ahead of Harold Fannon Jr.
0:15 I will draft Jeremiah Love in a full PPR league.
0:18 He's a round two pick.
0:20 I've got him at 20 right now.
0:23 If it's nonPPR, he's going to be closer to 12.
0:26 I can't help myself.
0:27 I think he's really good.
0:29 You like him better in non-PR than full PPR?
0:31 Oh, just running back.
0:32 I get it.
0:34 No, that's overall.
0:35 But, you know, running back thing receivers value
0:39 their value goes down obviously because the catches don't count.
0:43 No, I get it.
0:43 I get it.
0:44 Right.
0:44 Um, and I'm not like I I wouldn't freak out
0:47 too much over Tyler Algier and James Connor being there.
0:51 And they might take they might take him off the field 35% of the time, but
0:57 I wish they had
0:59 Love's going to be their dude.
1:00 I wish they had more starting offensive
1:02 linemen than they had starting running backs.
1:06 That's really nice.
1:07 Their line is a problem, right?
1:10 And and that was part of the reason why I didn't
1:12 think the question of Price being better than Love was so outrageous.
1:15 I mean, we we've seen a guy in Ash and Genty go to a team with a terrible
1:20 offensive line and have the same kind of profile
1:23 that you look at with Love and Genty.
1:26 I mentioned this last week, I think,
1:27 where they both destroyed bad competition and struggled
1:31 against good competition in their last year in college.
1:34 And it was a rough year for um for him for uh for Genty.
1:38 He was I think it was RB 16 per game.
1:41 So, um but yeah.
1:42 All right.
1:42 So So Dave's got him in round two, 20th overall.
1:45 Heath, where would you have Jeremiah Love right now?
1:48 I was I'm embarrassed to say I was thinking round four.
1:53 I'm close.
1:53 I want to hear it.
1:54 I want to hear it.
1:55 It's close to that too, Heath.
1:56 Don't worry.
1:57 Wow.
1:57 No, I just I and it may be a little maybe I'm
2:00 overreacting a little bit to what we just saw from Mast and Genty,
2:04 but I think he's awesome and was awesome last year also.
2:08 And the situation was just so bad that it didn't really matter.
2:15 And I think this could be almost worse because while I don't think Tyler Algier
2:21 and James Connor and Trey Benson and whoever
2:23 else is still on the roster like really matter,
2:27 I think they're probably going to have a bigger share
2:29 of the touches than the backup guys in Las Vegas did last year.
2:33 Yeah.
2:34 And so if it's a if it's less of a workhorse
2:38 role on an equally bad offensive line and run game,
2:44 which his run game was putrid last year, I I'm a little nervous.
2:49 I'm not not for the long term.
2:51 Like I'm still very excited for Dynasty, but I'm a little nervous for this year.
2:56 Yeah.
2:56 And and also Jeremiah Love is a guy who has three games
3:00 in his career with 20 or more targets or 20 or more carries, pardon me.
3:04 They were all this year, this past year,
3:06 whereas Ashton Genty had over 700 carries, I think, as in college.
3:12 So he he was used to a big workload.
3:14 Love isn't.
3:15 So if they want to kind of ease him in, they certainly have an excuse.
3:18 Um all right.
3:19 So Jamie, you said you're close to to round four on
3:22 He's round three for me, but like middle of round three.
3:26 So, all right.
3:28 So, that's like Bucky Irving or Jeremiah Love.
3:32 Love.
3:34 Okay.
3:33 I have love one spot higher.
3:36 Josh Jacobs or Love?
3:39 Jacobs.
3:40 Jacobs.
3:41 Jacobs.
3:41 Kairen Williams or Love.
3:43 That's the cut off for me.
3:44 I have him right behind Kairen right now.
3:46 Kairen for me.
3:50 Love.
3:50 Okay.
3:51 I think look, we I'm hoping, you know,
3:54 to to sort of talk tie in the the receivers as well.
3:57 Like I would love to see the Titans move
3:58 on from Calvin Ridley just to get rid of that headache.
4:00 I'd love to see the Cardinals obviously move on from one of these guys.
4:03 Most likely it's going to be James Connor.
4:05 If anything, maybe Trey Benson,
4:06 but like if they go in with those guys and the fact
4:10 that they paid Algier and Connor's resume is still pretty impressive,
4:15 it's not like Love is walking into Gent's role.
4:18 And that's the scary part is Genty walked into that role last year.
4:22 Forget about the environment, how bad it was.
4:24 We thought, okay, he's gonna get all this work.
4:26 He's a special talent.
4:26 He's going to be awesome.
4:28 Take him to the first round.
4:29 No hesitation, right?
4:30 And mistake.
4:32 We made the same mistake with Bejian Robinson.
4:34 Hey, talk about Tyler Alier in his rookie season, right?
4:36 Bejian Robinson, special talent.
4:38 He's awesome.
4:38 Here's Arthur Smith.
4:39 Let's ruin that guy.
4:41 So, I think you look at the situation with the Cardinals
4:44 and hopefully it's all Jeremiah Love like Dave was saying,
4:48 you know, like he's gonna be the guy.
4:49 And I think that's going to be the case to the optimistic view of it.
4:54 But we know how NFL coaches are.
4:55 If he's not protecting his quarterback that well,
4:57 well, there's James Connor still being, you know, useful.
5:00 If he's not getting the job done at the goal line,
5:02 there's Tyler Algier still getting the opportunities that we
5:04 saw even last year when Bejan was awesome.
5:07 So, I think Jeremiah Love is worth
5:09 taking as a borderline number one running back.
5:11 I think he's obviously worth taking as a starting fantasy running back.
5:14 He obviously has the ability to be a special
5:16 talent and be the focal point of a Cardinals offense.
5:19 Has a lot of really good players.
5:20 You know, they're missing an offensive line that is,
5:23 you know, substandard, let's just say.
5:24 And clearly the quarterback play is a little bit concerning
5:27 especially if of all things you know 2026 Jacobe Br is
5:30 a hold out but continues to be the the the the you
5:34 know sticking point throughout the rest of this offseason.
5:36 Then we'll see what they do the rest
5:38 of the draft and they're trying to find that guy.
5:40 But it just feels like we've been burned by this top
5:43 rookie running back each of the last two seasons.
5:45 Now this guy walks into another bad situation in a crowded backfield.
5:49 Just get one guy out of there.
5:51 Let's just make it easier on all of us.
5:52 Get one guy out of there.
5:53 And again, Connor makes the most sense.
5:55 I think you're just looking at it as if
5:57 you you're excited about him as a talent,
5:59 you're going to be excited to draft him
6:01 in those spot where Dave is talking about.
6:03 I think if you're taking the cautious approach, again,
6:05 just looking at what this rookie running what the number one rookie
6:08 running back has done or lack thereof each of the last two seasons,
6:11 you take a little bit more of uh you
6:13 know where Heath and I are probably coming from.
6:15 All right.
6:16 I we have been burned by the last two, Bjan Robinson and Ashton Genty.
6:22 Genty got the workload that we wanted though.
6:24 But before that, I mean,
6:26 it felt like a layup for a guy to be
6:28 drafted this early and then be really good in fantasy.
6:31 Um, where was Todd Gurley?
6:33 He was late round one, I think.
6:35 Right.
6:35 Uh, no, I think he was
6:39 seven.
6:38 Top half of Oh, you mean for fantasy?
6:40 No, no, no.
6:41 In the NFL draft.
6:42 Why do I think he was early?
6:44 Well, he was amazing as a rookie.
6:49 Girly.
6:49 Girly early.
6:49 Uh, Zeke was amazing.
6:51 Fornette because he got 23.4
6:55 per game.
6:55 What was he?
6:56 He was the 10th overall pick in the 2015 draft.
6:59 Okay.
6:59 So, so top 10.
7:00 So, Gurley was great.
7:01 Zeke was great.
7:02 Fornette was he wasn't great as a player,
7:05 but he was the number eight running back that year.
7:08 Yeah.
7:08 Barkley was the man.
7:10 So, before that, any running back taken in the top 10 was a shoe.
7:14 It was a was a surefire stud.
7:16 And then the last two burned us.
7:17 Bejian because of workload.
7:19 Genty because of efficiency.
7:21 Um, and then yeah, I mean that's my like
7:23 what's the workload going to be for Love?
7:24 All right, but let's move on to Price though,
7:26 so we can talk about the wide receivers as well.
7:28 Um, when Dave, I think you said the 56 turn for Jadarian Price,
7:33 that's where I've got him right now.
7:34 Jamie, how about you?
7:36 Same spot, Keith.
7:37 That sounds really good.
7:39 Okay, so looking at the last draft we did,
7:42 post free agency draft or last draft I was in.
7:45 Anyway, uh DeAndre Swift was there,
7:47 Chuba Hubard was around there, Javvante Williams was around there.
7:52 Jamie, what do you think?
7:53 Williams over Price, Swift over Price, Price over Chuba.
7:59 Yep.
8:00 Okay, Dave, you agree?
8:02 Oh, yeah.
8:02 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
8:03 Don't wait for Who gets more work this year, Price or um Swift?
8:10 I would say the totality would be in favor of Swift, but it's close.
8:13 Just depends on when Charbanet is coming back.
8:15 Right.
8:15 If Charbanet really needs a lot of time, it's going to be price.
8:21 So, I have done a little bit of uh projections work
8:25 and I have it at 271 for price, 270 for Swift.
8:30 No, that hurts my feelings.
8:31 You were you were obviously doing that while I was speaking.
8:34 While you were what?
8:35 speaking just now you doing the projection work.
8:39 No, no, I was doing it during the drift.
8:43 Okay.
8:43 I thought you said it was hard to do a projection,
8:45 so I thought you did it in the last 10 minutes.
8:46 I was doing it in the 17 minutes from when you texted I'm
8:49 going into the room and when you actually showed up on the stream.
8:51 Oh boy.
8:53 Uh let me just ask you a hypothetical just
8:55 so I get to know how you feel about Price.
8:58 If Zack Charbanet were out for the year, where would you take Jadarian Price?
9:05 four or five turn.
9:07 I was going to say very close to Jeremiah Lof.
9:14 Okay.
9:13 I I I would consider putting him ahead of some
9:16 of the running backs that we just got done talking about.
9:18 Jabbonte Swift.
9:20 Swift for sure.
9:21 Yeah.
9:22 That that's that's the middle around four.
9:26 Okay.
9:27 Well, that's a silly hypothetical because I
9:29 don't think that's going to be the case.
9:30 But everything that we're talking about on this show
9:31 is a silly hypothetical at this point.
9:33 Yeah, there two more nights of the NFL draft for things to change, right?
9:37 Um, was there a destination that you did not like
9:41 for fantasy tonight for one of the skill position players?
9:44 Jeremiah Love to the Cardinal.
9:45 Jeremiah Love Sadik is the worst one ever.
9:50 Yes, that's also awful.
9:51 I liked it before they drafted Cooper.
