Trump Just CRASHED OUT...

0:02 that the war with Iran is basically over,

0:04 that they are eager to get a deal done.

0:06 Any minute now, something should be sorted out.

0:09 Fast forward to today, Donald Trump has this meeting in the Oval Office.

0:12 He's falling asleep in this press conference.

0:14 But he also decides to provide an update on Iran.

0:18 And surprise, surprise, it's not good.

0:20 We don't sound any closer to a peace deal than we were a week,

0:23 two weeks, 3 weeks ago.

0:25 We are back to square one.

0:26 So, I want to play you some clips of what Trump said about Iran.

0:29 It hasn't gotten a lot of coverage,

0:30 but I think it should and we will talk about it.

0:33 But I do want to start with this post that Trump

0:34 put out yesterday that kind of tells us where things are.

0:38 He said, "I've just read the response from Iran's so-called representatives.

0:42 I don't like it.

0:42 Totally unacceptable.

0:44 Thank you for your attention to this matter." So,

0:46 Iran apparently sending a peace deal to the United States.

0:49 It's unacceptable to Donald Trump.

0:51 He's completely rejected it.

0:52 And as I said, back to square one.

0:54 And one of the first clips I want to show you is Donald Trump trying to twist

0:58 himself into pretzels to justify this war in Iran

1:02 and justify things that have happened so far.

1:04 So now he's taking the position that the loss

1:07 of the straight of Hormuz is genius.

1:09 He thinks that losing this major trade route to Iran,

1:13 which they now fully control, is actually 4D chess.

1:16 And he's just smarter than smarter than everybody else.

1:19 He's doing it and nobody can see the genius.

1:21 Just watch this.

1:22 It is ludicrous.

1:23 Let me tell you, as soon as this is over with Iran,

1:27 as soon as it's over, you're going to see uh gasoline and oil drop like a rock.

1:33 Going to be dropping down like a rock.

1:36 I mean, already look just on the basis of you know,

1:41 things have happened when it first came about

1:45 uh 20% of the oil came out of armos.

1:48 That's a lot.

1:50 But, you know, with time it's like they're going to Texas,

1:55 they're going to Louisiana, they're going to Alaska.

1:58 A lot of Alaska.

1:58 Alaska is, you know, sort of, it seems like very far away from the from Asia,

2:04 but it's actually a relatively short trip by comparison

2:08 to other locations they have to go to to get oil.

2:11 And uh they go into Alaska.

2:13 In fact, our big problem is we're building bigger docks,

2:16 docking, you know, dock to fill up.

2:18 But we have uh we become very big on the filling station.

2:22 We're a big filling station.

2:24 And what's happening is when this first when people heard about losing hormones,

2:30 they said, "Oh, this is it's genius.

2:34 They're finding other locations."

2:36 And some of those people I spoke to them, companies and countries,

2:40 some of those people are going to continue to go to Texas.

2:42 They like it better.

2:43 They said it's an extra 45 minutes.

2:46 They like it better and it's sort of amazing, you know, it found its way.

2:52 So, a lot of people thought oil would go to $250, $300.

2:56 It's not.

2:56 I mean, today it's at less than 100.

2:59 Think of that.

2:59 Now, when this ends, you're going to see it drop like a rock.

3:04 How long are you genius?

3:08 Donald Trump calls it.

3:09 By the way, what he's talking about

3:10 here that these companies and countries around

3:12 the world are now going to Texas to get their oil is just not true.

3:17 He's making it up on the spot.

3:18 I feel like I don't need to say that, but I need

3:21 to say it for the MAGA people who may or may not be watching.

3:24 That is just categorically false, but genius.

3:27 He thinks shutting down global trade, making oil go to well over $100 a barrel,

3:34 raising the prices for every American,

3:35 whether you're a Democrat, Republican, is genius.

3:38 Trump can just never admit that he got something wrong.

3:41 Trump can never admit that something went badly under his watch.

3:45 And so he genuinely twists himself as he tries to justify

3:49 somehow $5 a gallon gas all across the United States.

3:53 It is absurd.

3:54 The next update he provided on Iran is kind

3:57 of hitting on the social media post we just read,

3:59 saying that the proposal was unacceptable.

4:02 And so take a look at what he said.

4:04 And with that, do you have any questions?

4:05 Mr.

4:05 President, you mentioned that you were going

4:08 to be meeting with the generals on Iran.

4:10 You rejected a deal from Iran over the weekend.

4:12 Can you tell us anything about that proposal and what if any to break this?

4:17 Yeah, it it was just unacceptable.

4:20 You know, a lot of people said, "Well, does he have a plan?" Yeah,

4:24 of course they do have the best plan ever.

4:26 I mean, Iran has been defeated militarily.

4:28 Totally.

4:29 Uh they have a little left.

4:30 They probably built up during this period of time.

4:33 We'll knock that out in about a day.

4:35 But I have a plan.

4:36 You know what it is?

4:37 A very simple plan.

4:38 I don't know why you don't say it like it is.

4:40 Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.

4:43 They're very dangerous.

4:44 They're very volatile.

4:46 It's a uh a terrible thing that's happened over there.

4:49 They've killed 42,000 people uh in the last two months.

4:53 42,000 at least.

4:55 That's what we know of.

4:56 42,000 people.

4:57 They killed numerous people over the last week.

5:00 But they killed 42,000 people a month ago, a month and a half ago.

5:06 They were unarmed protesters, not at all violent prot.

5:13 Wow.

5:12 So he says, "I have the best plan ever." Number one, unacceptable.

5:19 So he says, "The deal is not happening.

5:20 We are back to square one." Undoubtedly by his own admission,

5:23 but the deal or he has the best plan ever.

5:26 Totally right.

5:26 That makes sense.

5:28 As we were just talking about $5 a gallon gas, inflation going up,

5:31 Americans dying in the Middle East,

5:33 an extended war where we're spending billions per day,

5:36 Iran replacing their main supreme leader

5:39 with a younger guy who's who's 30 years younger,

5:42 doesn't have cancer, and is more extreme.

5:44 Does that sound like a perfect plan?

5:47 It doesn't sound like a perfect plan to me whatsoever.

5:49 And yet Donald Trump is out here say, "Oh, it's perfect.

5:52 It's going just ex exactly how we planned it, just right." It's ludicrous.

5:56 It's ludicrous.

5:57 The next update he provided is him crying over Iran being dishonorable people,

6:03 at least in these negotiations.

6:04 Take a look.

6:05 Do you still believe a diplomatic solution is possible

6:08 with Iran or do you only have military options like

6:11 No, I I think uh it's very possible.

6:14 Look, I've had to deal with them four or five times.

6:16 They change their mind.

6:18 They're very dishonorable people.

6:20 The leadership, don't forget, it's the third level.

6:23 The first level is God.

6:25 They were unreasonable.

6:27 The second level is more reasonable.

6:28 The third level, nobody wants to be president, you know.

6:32 They say, "Who wants to be president?"

6:33 There's nobody raises their hand, you know.

6:36 But where uh they just they change their mind.

6:39 I' I've had that in business many times.

6:42 You know, the mind change as you go.

6:43 They these people that you make a deal

6:45 and then the next day they send you a document

6:48 that takes that takes five days to get there

6:52 when it should have been there in 20 minutes.

6:53 You know, it's pretty simple document.

6:55 They will never have a nuclear weapon.

6:57 Yeah.

6:57 Thank you, sir.

6:58 I was Is he like, so Iran doesn't want to play a ball, it seems like,

7:04 or that's what he's making it seem like,

7:05 but I think there's probably conflict on both sides.

7:07 I think Donald Trump is probably not living up to his word

7:10 and Iran is not living up to their word either.

7:12 But he's calling them dishonorable people.

7:14 I'm just like I'm confused as to what he expected.

7:17 When you attack a country, you bomb a country, you bomb their infrastructure,

7:21 you kill a bunch of people, like do you expect them to be your fans?

7:27 Like, do you expect them to engage with you in a way that you would like?

7:30 That doesn't seem feels kind of intuitive know

7:32 that if you bomb the crap out of a country,

7:34 they're not exactly going to be eager to make a deal.

7:37 They're not going to exactly be stoked to be in negotiations with you.

7:41 The final clip I want to show you is Trump

7:43 saying that the lunatics want to fight until the end.

7:46 I call them stupid people.

7:48 Okay, take a look.

7:49 You can negotiate with can ultimately reach a peace.

7:52 Well, you have two.

7:52 You have the moderates and you have the lunatics

7:56 and I think the moderates are more respected.

8:00 The lunatics want to fight till the end.

8:02 You know, there will be a very it'll be a very quick fight.

8:05 But uh you I call them you have just like our country, we have lunatics too.

8:10 We have I call them lunatics.

8:13 I call them stupid people too.

8:15 But in Iran, they have the moderates that dying to make a deal.

8:18 And then you have the lunatics.

8:19 And I guess they're a little bit afraid of the lunatics.

8:21 But it's just rem I I can't get over these people in the background.

8:25 Remarkable how these people just have to stand here and smile along.

8:36 They have to stand there with a smile on their faces.

8:38 Donald Trump is saying some of the dumbest

8:40 things you've ever heard in your entire life.

8:42 But once again, I think the former point stands here as well.

8:45 He's saying, you know, Iran wants to fight to the end.

8:48 What are you surprised by?

8:50 I mean, you bombed them.

8:52 You bombed them.

8:53 You killed their leader.

8:55 You killed people in the country.

8:56 You bombed a children's school.

8:59 Are you surprised that a country that has faced this wants to fight,

9:04 wants to fight you, wants to fight until the end?

9:06 Is he surprised?

9:08 It's just absurd.

9:09 And so those are the latest updates from the man himself on Iran.

9:14 None good.

9:15 Uh nothing indicating a positive future here for the United

9:18 States or a positive outcome for the war.

9:20 Um so the MAGA fans who are telling us, "Oh, it's, you know, any day now.

9:24 It's right around the corner." Maybe they're eating their words right now.

9:27 Or maybe they're finding a way to move the goalposts.

9:29 I don't know.
