Donald Trump Attacks Jimmy Kimmel AGAIN & Wants Him Fired “SOON"

Donald Trump Attacks Jimmy Kimmel AGAIN & Wants Him Fired “SOON"

Jimmy Kimmel Live

0:00 Thank you, Jimmy.

0:00 I'm the host of the show.

0:01 [cheering] AND I APPRECIATE THAT.

0:04 THANK YOU FOR WATCHING.

0:05 THANK YOU FOR JOINING us here in Hollywood.

0:08 [cheering]

0:08 I AM I'M GLAD YOU'RE HERE.

0:12 I'M GLAD YOU KNOW WHAT?

0:13 I'm glad I'm here.

0:14 It's not something I take for granted anymore.

0:16 Please relax.

0:16 You know, this morning when I woke up I woke

0:19 up to my wife shooting video of me with her phone.

0:21 I went, "What's going on?" But it it turns out she was She

0:24 was shooting me to let me know the president gave me another shout-out today.

0:29 What's that?

0:31 Donald Trump wants you fired again.

0:35 I haven't even been fired once.

0:36 How can I be fired again?

0:40 He posted it again.

0:41 He's calling for you to be fired cuz you're unfunny and you're low-rated.

0:46 Well, those are good reasons.

0:51 Let's Let's get out of bed and deal with this.

0:53 Mhm.

0:54 So then I I unearth myself from all 30 of our pillows.

1:00 Um [laughter] And I grabbed one of the 25 pairs of reading

1:05 glasses off my nightstand and I see the following.

1:07 When is ABC fake news network firing seriously unfunny Jimmy Kimmel

1:13 who incompetently presides over one of the lowest-rated shows on television.

1:17 People are angry.

1:19 It better be soon.

1:21 Or what?

1:22 You You'll see.

1:27 Thank you for booing.

1:28 I appreciate it.

1:30 If incompetently presiding over not just one of but the lowest

1:34 rating in history is the reason I should be fired,

1:36 we should both be out of A JOB BECAUSE [cheering]

1:41 YOU'RE NOT DOING TOO GOOD EITHER.

1:43 He also called into Newsmax this afternoon to call

1:46 me a lowlife and demand I be fired again.

1:49 He This guy is so mad that you would

1:50 think I posted a picture of seashells or something.

1:54 Isn't there a war dragging on?

1:56 Imagine if FDR had taken to the airwaves during the Battle of the Bulge

2:01 to complain about a little Orphan Annie comic strip he didn't like.

2:04 Trump has three wars going on right now.

2:07 Iranians, Ukrainians, and comedians.

2:10 And

2:12 [laughter] I do want to commend the hint the small handful

2:13 of Republicans who've spoken out to support our First Amendment rights.

2:17 Senator Ted Cruz again, Senator Rand Paul again, and Congressman James Comer.

2:22 Every one of these guys I've made fun of repeatedly and viciously on this show.

2:27 And you know what not one of them has done?

2:29 Pressured ABC to fire me for it.

2:32 [cheering] YOU KNOW [applause] I'LL SAY ANOTHER THING.

2:36 DURING [cheering] THE CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT,

2:38 there was a man a very prominent Republican man who seemed

2:42 to be against this idea of muzzling people you don't agree with.

2:45 We reject censorship, blacklisting,

2:49 and cancel culture because we know that the lifeblood

2:52 of a free society is free speech.

2:56 Ridiculous cancel culture will be wiped out entirely.

3:01 Cancel culture.

3:02 I hate the term actually.

3:03 Cancel culture.

3:04 I'm not a believer in cancel culture.

3:07 Cancel culture.

3:08 Congressman, there'll be no cancel culture.

3:10 Reject left-wing cancel culture and we will

3:13 restore the right to free speech in America.

3:16 You don't have free speech anymore.

3:18 The goal of cancel culture is to make

3:20 decent Americans live in fear of being fired.

3:26 He did say decent Americans.

3:27 I don't think I qualify.

3:29 I hate to say this and I hope it doesn't get me in trouble.

3:31 I'm starting to think Donald Trump might be a hypocrite.

3:35 I also noticed something interesting.

3:37 Put the post from this morning back up.

3:38 Okay.

3:39 When is fake ABC fake news network firing seriously unfunny Jimmy Kimmel

3:42 who incompetently presides over one of the lowest rated shows on television?

3:46 People are angry.

3:46 It better be soon.

3:48 Okay.

3:49 So this is what the president posted yesterday about Iran.

3:52 Iran can't get their act together.

3:54 They don't know how to sign a non-nuclear deal.

3:56 They better get smart soon.

3:58 Why am I getting the same threats he's giving to Iran?

4:02 Let me explain something.

4:05 [applause] Now, I hope I want to MAKE SOMETHING CLEAR.

4:09 I AM NOT THE AYATOLLAH.

4:12 GUILLERMO, DO I LOOK LIKE THE AYATOLLAH?

4:14 A LITTLE BIT.

4:16 I'M SORRY.

4:17 THE BEARD, I know it's the I'm worried this conflict is going to escalate.

4:21 He might put a blockade on Hollywood Boulevard.

4:24 Nobody will be able to get in.

4:25 I think it might be time for us to figure this out because it's getting crazy.

4:28 Here's what I suggest.

4:29 We don't have to meet face to face.

4:31 I know you're busy.

4:31 Send a delegation.

4:33 Send JD Vance and and Jared and your your friend the real estate broker.

4:37 Send them all.

4:38 We can meet in a neutral location like Pakistan or uh I don't know, Van Nuys.

4:44 We could go to the Buffalo Wild Wings down the street.

4:47 Let's see if we can come up with a ceasefire agreement.

4:50 This could be good for both of us.

4:52 I get to keep my job.

4:53 You get to end your 11th war.

4:55 What do you say?

4:56 We can help each other.

4:58 WE CAN BE LIKE [applause] WE CAN BE LIKE LARRY [cheering] AND MAGIC.

5:04 Let me show you how easy this partnership could be.

5:08 It's the seriously unfunny Jimmy Kimmel Live.

5:12 That's right.

5:13 Watch as total loser Jimmy Kimmel incompetently presides

5:17 over one of the lowest rated shows on television.

5:20 What?

5:20 Tune in fast before he's fired like a dog.

5:24 Has there ever been a worse host than stupid Jimmy Kimmel?

5:27 I wonder who he's talking about there.

5:29 Find out tonight on the ABC fake news network.

5:33 Jimmy, I love you so much.

5:35 Thank you.

5:35 See that?

5:36 Come on, let's tear down these walls.

5:41 [applause] That Mexico paid for.

5:42 Between the seriously unfunny me and the highly overrated Meryl Streep,

5:45 tonight's show could be one of Trump's least favorite episodes yet.

5:50 AND OF COURSE [cheering]

5:53 ALL OF THIS [applause] IS IS MEANT TO DISTRACT us from the prices

5:57 he didn't lower on day one and from the Trump-Epstein files

6:01 that his attorney general refuses to release and distract us from the illegal

6:05 war he started and can't figure out how to get out of.

6:08 This is week nine of a war that he told us would last four to five weeks.

6:12 Today the president was briefed on options for additional strikes on Iran.

6:16 Of course, we've already spent 50 billion dollars bombing them,

6:19 but this time the plan's to do it again and expect a different result.

6:23 Talks have stalled.

6:24 That AI generated meme of him with a machine gun didn't do the trick

6:28 and now the finance guys on Wall Street who came up with the acronym TACO,

6:32 which is short for Trump Always Chickens Out, have a new one.

6:35 It's NACHO, which stands for Not a Chance Hormuz Opens.

6:40 TACO and NACHO.

6:42 Even his favorite snacks have turned against him.

6:45 Unfortunately for the president,

6:46 he has a legion of hardcore apple polishers on cable

6:50 news putting a positive spin on every dumb thing he does.

6:53 Whether you like him or not,

6:56 any fair-minded person would have to conclude that President

7:01 Trump has oranges the size of beach balls.

7:08 He will eat your liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

7:16 You know, I guess you can't have that accent and know about wine.

7:20 Chianti?

7:21 Isn't she married to Nelly Chianti?

7:25 [laughter] Even his balls are orange.

7:26 That's a fun revelation.

7:28 One man who has been [applause] very notably quiet on the subject

7:33 of Operation Endless Fury is Vice President J.D.

7:36 Vance.

7:36 You know, during the campaign, J.D.

7:38 Vance said he thought military conflict with Iran

7:40 was a bad idea and that the main reason he was endorsing Trump was to keep

7:45 us out of these so-called forever wars.

7:47 According to Atlantic magazine, behind the scenes,

7:50 Vance has repeatedly questioned the Pentagon's

7:53 depiction of of how the war's going.

7:55 He's said to be worried that no one's

7:56 being straight about what's happening in the straight,

7:59 and that he believes Pete Hegseth and other officials

8:02 are telling Trump only what he wants to hear.

8:06 Plus, Vance has been raising concerns about ammunition shortages

8:09 because he knows if we run out of missiles,

8:11 Trump is going to launch him at an Iranian warship.

8:14 Obviously, this is not something that would please

8:17 His Majesty being second-guessed by his second banana.

8:20 So, J.D.

8:20 had to go on TV to try to distance himself from himself.

8:25 Sources within side your office are telling The Atlantic that you've been

8:30 expressing some real concerns about missile depletion through the war with Iran.

8:35 So, first of all, most of these reports I ignore.

8:38 This one I actually read because it, you know,

8:40 it it described views to me and things that I had

8:43 allegedly said that I'm just 100% certain that I have never said.

8:47 That didn't sound like a denial to me.

8:50 I mean These things I allegedly said don't sound like I I said them.

8:55 Maybe I whispered something like that, but Did I say it?

8:59 I guess you'd have to ask me.

9:02 You know what I love best?

9:02 I love when they have to deny to deny saying something that made sense.

9:06 I always wonder what's going through J.D.

9:08 Vance's mind.

9:09 This afternoon, out of nowhere, Trump blurted this out of his little nubs.

9:13 He wrote, "Anyone Anybody running for president or vice president should

9:17 be forced to take a cognitive examination prior to entering the race.

9:21 By doing so, we wouldn't be surprised if people

9:23 like Barack Hussein Obama or Sleepy Joe Biden getting elected.

9:27 Our country would be a much better place.

9:29 I took the exam three times during my three

9:32 terms as president and aced it all three times.

9:36 An achievement that even on a single exam,

9:38 according to the doctors, has rarely been done before.

9:41 This is an exam, by the way, that begins with "Can you tell the difference

9:46 between a lion and an elephant?" All right?

9:49 But, I agree, presidents should take this test every week,

9:53 preferably live on this program.

9:55 He is He's [cheering] so proud [applause]

9:59 of passing this remedial He's repeated this story now 50 times.

10:04 That alone is a sign you didn't pass the cognitive impairment test.

10:09 Thinking you've had three terms as president means you are cognitively impaired.

10:15 Now, I have an idea, though.

10:17 Why don't you and Obama face off?

10:18 Take this test together, head-to-head.

10:21 Winner gets to finish out YOUR TERM, HUH?

10:25 [cheering] COME ON NOW.

10:28 [applause]

10:28 SO, UM THE KING, UH THE ONE FROM ENGLAND, is headed to Bermuda tonight.

10:33 He and the queen today took a tour of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia

10:38 to get a look at all the beautiful land they used to own.

10:40 Um they also got a royal send-off at the White House this morning,

10:44 and it would appear that the special relationship between us

10:47 and the UK is even more special than ever before.

10:50 Your Majesty, what do you think of the Trump Renaissance here in D.C.?

10:53 All the improvements?

10:55 Uh Yeah, that's to see.

11:03 We'll talk later.

11:04 Thank you.

11:07 Did the [laughter] Is there like a Is there a British version of Taco Taco?

11:11 Is that like Maybe Dodgy Lodgy or something?

11:14 It seems like the king stayed one night too many.

11:18 Now that the king is gone, though, the president has GOP aunts can focus

11:21 their energy on royally screwing with the midterms.

11:23 Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled to essentially gut

11:27 the Voting Rights Act, and uh Uh RFK Jr.

11:31 ran over and ate it.

11:32 The Voting Rights Act is or was

11:35 a landmark civil rights law that prohibits racial discrimination

11:38 when it comes to voting and ensures

11:40 that all citizens have equal access to the ballot,

11:43 or at least it did until yesterday.

11:45 Uh today the Republican governor of Louisiana is using this ruling

11:50 as an excuse to delay an election for May 16th,

11:52 an election that has already begun.

11:54 Absentee votes have already been been cast,

11:57 but they want to throw that all away and change it.

12:00 They want to redraw their voting districts.

12:02 Imagine if a football team had an injured quarterback and forced the NFL

12:06 to delay the Super Bowl a few weeks until he got better.

12:09 That's what this is like.

12:10 They claim that they're doing it to take race out of the equation

12:14 by making sure that only white people are elected to office.

12:19 This country is like a game of Jenga right now.

12:22 One good sneeze and we are done.

12:25 Other red states are talking now about pulling the same maneuver,

12:28 including Tennessee and South Carolina,

12:30 home of Senator and Little Mermaid bubble wand enthusiast Lindsey Graham.

12:35 You know, part of the new uh media arrangement in Washington

12:38 is they've opened it up to previously unwelcomed outlets like TMZ.

12:43 TMZ has guys with cameras everywhere now,

12:45 and I have to admit I'm enjoying having them there because if we didn't,

12:49 we wouldn't get moments like this.

12:51 Can I ask just where is that bubble wand now at this point in time?

12:54 Where is it?

12:55 You know, I don't know.

12:56 You don't know?

12:57 Uh I didn't buy it from me.

12:59 Who did you buy it for?

13:01 For a friend's girl.

13:03 For a Is the friend's girl speaking to us right now?

13:09 [laughter] I believe him.

13:09 I I also believe he has 10 other bubble wands at home.

13:13 And then we have the Wall Street Journal reporting that Amazon,

13:16 the company who brought us Melania the movie,

13:18 is in talks to reboot a little-known reality show called The Apprentice.

13:22 And this time it would be hosted by Donald Trump Jr.

13:26 It's all part of their plan to fill the one remaining

13:29 hour of the day when there isn't a Donald Trump on television.

13:34 Amazon issued a statement saying, "Since our acquisition of MGM,

13:37 we've had preliminary internal discussions about what's next

13:40 for The Apprentice as a property and how

13:42 we can best leverage that to further suckle

13:45 the president's teeth." I hope they do it.

13:48 I Don Jr.'s going to be a terrific Talk about charisma.

13:51 I mean, he is And don't worry, Eric.

13:53 Amazon's working on something for you, too.

13:55 They want you to be the guy at the warehouse who

13:57 makes sure when their employees are peeing into the Gatorade bottles,

14:00 they don't get it on the floor.

14:03 And one more thing before we forge ahead.

14:05 It is Thursday night,

14:06 and that means it's time to bleep and blurt the big TV moments of the week.

14:09 It is this week in unnecessary censorship.

14:13 [cheering] That was President Trump's call for Jimmy Kimmel

14:18 to be The first lady also the late-night host today.

14:22 The king's address is less about policy and more about Right?

14:26 Hanna, good morning, and that's exactly right.

14:28 Thank you very much, everybody.

14:30 What a beautiful British this is.

14:35 [laughter]

14:35 I feel like I walk in and I feel like I immediately like get in my throat.

14:39 You know what I mean?

14:40 There was a little bit of a hiccup aboard the Chief after

14:43 one of the sailors was by a monkey during a stop in Thailand.

14:47 And by the way, people have been wondering

14:49 what happened to those 2,600 from Saturday night.

14:52 Well, they will be eaten eventually.

14:55 You can just send us Maybe you've got

14:56 a cute picture of your We love looking at it,

14:58 and uh maybe it'll show up right here on the morning news.

15:01 The singer and Trump supporter joined Defense Secretary

15:04 Pete Hegseth to on an Army helicopter yesterday.

15:07 Today, I have our pal Kai.

15:10 He's about 2 years old.

15:11 He's a mixed breed, and he has a huge Adorable.

15:16 Well, we got a great show for tonight

15:18 from The Daily [cheering and applause] Show.

15:19 Desi Lydic is here, and we'll be right back with Meryl Streep.
