DEAD AIR: Cornered Rats with Steve Schmidt and Dean Blundell
The Warning with Steve Schmidt
0:12 We all know that Scott Jennings is more than happy to defend
0:14 a war with a country that starts with the letters IRA.
0:17 That we are currently failing that is going to put
0:18 us trillions and trillions of dollars more in debt.
0:20 I was only a few years old while
0:22 you were in the administration defending prior endless wars.
0:25 Now this war is failing.
0:26 8 weeks is endless to you.
0:27 Okay.
0:27 You said it was going to be 46 weeks.
0:29 You have the attention span of a net.
0:31 I debated you on TV four to six weeks
0:32 ago when you said we were weeks away from it.
0:34 Now you're making condescending remarks because you can't defend
0:36 the fact that this war is not going your way.
0:38 Wait one more time.
0:40 Name one political concession.
0:42 Name one political concession.
0:43 Honestly, I'm not going to help you guys.
0:46 Everybody hang tight.
0:48 Okay.
0:49 No.
0:49 Everybody calm down.
0:50 Okay.
0:51 You're we're having a debate.
0:53 You can respond to the points that he's making.
0:54 Can you name a political concession that we've got?
0:56 We are in a flashback to the the war the skin heads had in my studio.
1:00 I would be mad if we I would be mified to defend.
1:04 You can respond.
1:05 We have a very simple we have a very simple goal to keep terrorists
1:08 and a terrorist regime from having a nuclear
1:11 weapon that can threaten the United States,
1:13 our interests in the region, our allies in Europe, anybody else in the world.
1:17 You can't answer the question.
1:19 I would get mad too.
1:20 We're going to leave it there, guys.
1:21 Next for us.
1:24 Uh, what a night for Scott Jennings.
1:26 What a time to be alive.
1:28 Welcome to Dead Air.
1:29 My name is Dean Blendell from dean blendell.substack.com with my friend Mr.
1:33 Steve Schmidt from The Warning at Steve Schmidt and The Warning on Substack.
1:37 And we just had our very first Dead Air Heraldo appearance at the end
1:43 of maybe one of the most incredible meltdowns on cable television in history.
1:48 Scott Jennings getting stuffed in a body bag by Adam Mockler, a 23y old kid.
1:54 Get your hand out of my[ __] face.
1:56 I'm not dealing with this anymore.
1:57 Hi, Steve.
1:58 Wow, that happened.
1:59 Holy moly.
2:01 What?
2:01 And like what?
2:03 Like the most incredible part about it is that if you watch long enough,
2:09 like out of out of nowhere like appearing like
2:13 a like a like a cameo of cameos is Heraldo Rivera.
2:17 It's incredible.
2:18 [laughter] There's Haraldo Rivera.
2:20 And Heraldo Rivera is like cool as a cucumber.
2:23 He looks great.
2:25 And he's like, "You guys are like the skin heads on my old show.
2:33 Wow.
2:36 That's CNN, buddy.
2:37 That's Abby Phillips." Uh folks, thanks for joining us here on Dead Air.
2:41 We got a few things to get to.
2:42 We've got the King's visit to get to.
2:45 Uh, we not only have that, we've also got some Heg
2:48 Seth testimony to get to from last week, which is insane.
2:51 And we've got some heartfelt stuff to get to, which
2:54 is really good for the soul when it comes
2:56 to the difference that our friends here at the Save America
2:59 movement are making in the United States of America for democracy.
3:02 But let's just deal with that clip real quick, Steve,
3:05 because we're gonna cover a bunch of stuff no one wants us talking about today.
3:07 That's the point of this entire Substack live.
3:10 Scott Jennings came unglued.
3:12 And that's the third time Adam Mockler, a 23-year-old kid,
3:15 has owned his soul, stuffed him in a locker,
3:18 and he loses composure to the point where you're like,
3:22 "This guy is not a real boy.
3:24 He is not a real man.
3:25 He can't do this.
3:27 He is on his last legs trying to figure out how he can
3:30 somehow justify who and what the Trump regime stand for." That was unbelievable.
3:37 I want your thoughts cuz you're no stranger to these things and I highly
3:41 doubt you've ever come out of your shoes like that screaming at a 23-y old,
3:45 "Get your hand out of my[ __] face, man.
3:47 Get it out." It's so unbelievable to me.
3:51 I have I've been involved in over the course of my career a lot
3:55 of crisis management situations for all manner
4:00 of companies and CEOs and athletes and whatever
4:08 in all kinds of different different situations.
4:12 You get to
4:13 measure people up under stress.
4:16 Uh and certainly you get to see that on a on a political campaign.
4:20 Scott Jennings was one of those guys like that was kept
4:24 away from the campaign in '04 over in the White House, right?
4:28 Like and in 2004, you know,
4:31 I never had a political discussion with them, which you know,
4:35 he was not a he was not a player, right, for for reason in that.
4:39 And you want people who are calm under pressure.
4:45 Yeah.
4:44 Right.
4:44 that and that is somebody who just snapped total of of of composure
4:51 and I'm sitting there because Adam Mockler what a credit to Midas touch
4:57 and that young man keeping his composure but one of the things
5:03 that he's missed out on that we did not miss out on uh
5:09 that is just a part of the ribbon ribbon of life is
5:13 that he get to meet anyone in the greatest generation as they're called, right?
5:18 That that generation of men who had some stoic bearing,
5:23 some capacity to not complain, to be constantly victims and agrieved, right?
5:30 Back when men were men, as they say.
5:34 And you just see like you just see, you know,
5:38 from what that generational archetype was that we grew up with.
5:43 Mhm.
5:42 Compared to someone like a Scott Jennings today, total loss of control,
5:45 total loss of composure reflects terribly on the management of CNN,
5:53 terribly on the judgment of the president of CNN.
5:57 It's an embarrassment to the whole network, to all the journalists.
6:03 Mhm.
6:03 there'll be no consequence because there are
6:05 no standards and there are no ethics.
6:07 And that's that's an important thing to point
6:09 out when we're talking about the corporate media.
6:13 There are good journalists on CNN, but the corporate culture is rotten.
6:18 Yeah.
6:17 And you know, the corporate culture is
6:19 rotten because the corporate culture indulges Scott Jennings.
6:23 Yeah.
6:22 And it indulges that show.
6:23 You know, Abby Phillips is probably one of the smartest people on TV.
6:27 She presides over a democracy snuff hour, a snuff film.
6:32 That's what it that's what it is, right?
6:35 It's a snuff film.
6:36 [laughter] I mean, it's it's un it's unbelievable.
6:39 And you got you got Scott Jennings there.
6:41 He's like he's like my the wig maker from Good Fellows, right?
6:45 He's unbelievable.
6:47 My the wig.
6:48 What a bully.
6:49 What a bully.
6:50 Well, and just and he's got no no constitution for this, right?
6:53 He presents himself every night spinning the ridiculous,
6:56 trying to convince everybody that no harm, no foul from a rapist,
7:00 felon, con man, probable pedophile,
7:02 and sex trafficking guru that happens to be the president of the United States.
7:07 And he continues to try to normalize all of it in any of it.
7:10 And and you know, I'm reminded of a couple of things when I watch that clip,
7:12 and I want to play the clip again here in just a second.
7:15 But one of the things that I think is really important,
7:16 you mentioned stoic values or or that, you know,
7:19 the leadership, that calm perspective.
7:21 You see it in Mark K.
7:22 He was a practicing stoic.
7:23 You see it in different people who understand.
7:25 George Washington kept uh you know uh Epictitus in the meditations
7:29 by Marcus Aurelius next to his bed and read it every night.
7:32 Never went anywhere without it.
7:33 What would Epictitus say to to Scott Jennings?
7:37 He would say any person capable of angering you becomes your master.
7:41 He can anger you only when you permit yourself
7:44 to be disturbed by him because you yourself are disturbed.
7:48 And that is a philosophical, cognitive, behavioral[ __] fact that Scott,
7:54 say that more slowly because Adam Mockler needs to hear it.
7:59 Has has owned Scott Jennings.
8:02 He is his master.
8:03 Oh yeah, he owns Scott Jennings.
8:06 Jennings is his slave.
8:10 Yeah.
8:09 He [laughter] submitted to him slavery.
8:13 Any person capable of angering you becomes your master.
8:16 He can anger you only when you permit yourself
8:18 to be disturbed by him because you yourself are disturbed.
8:23 That's what I saw.
8:24 You see that with all kinds of people.
8:25 You see that now coming out of the mag regime.
8:28 And there's going to be a throughine here
8:29 today of people that could not control themselves,
8:32 that are currently on the hot seat, that are involved with the Trump regime,
8:35 that have tried desperately for the past 13
8:37 months to spin uh evil, to spin genocide,
8:42 to spin executing its own citizens, to spin destroying the world economy,
8:47 to spin destroying every alliance the United States has had.
8:51 and the actions and the consequences
8:53 of that when you ask anybody like Scott Jennings,
8:56 "Hey dude, I got you cornered.
8:58 Explain this." And when he says,
8:59 "Get your hand out of my[ __] face." Or you see a guy like
9:02 Pete Haget that will get to literally
9:04 come unglued in an armed services committee hearing.
9:07 It is because of those character flaws
9:09 because they know you're close to the truth.
9:11 Listen, it's the exact same thing where I come from, right?
9:13 is when when I was a young man and I wanted to hide
9:17 my shitty behaviors from people and the second someone would get close
9:19 to finding those shitty behaviors out or at least airing out who
9:24 I really was in a group of people and everybody's dealt with this.
9:26 We've all grown up.
9:27 We've all been that guy or that girl.
9:29 You get angry.
9:30 You blow a gasket because you don't have any[ __] tools at all.
9:34 And I think in this case, a guy like Scott Jennings,
9:37 he's starting to see the writing on the wall
9:39 through a 31% approval rating for Donald Trump.
9:41 He's starting to see his writing on the wall
9:43 through the evisceration of a guy like Pete
9:44 Hegsmith in the Armed Services Committee hearing this last
9:47 week and the Senate Armed Services Committee last week.
9:49 The this this is a regime that is desperately on the run.
9:53 And it it is it is atypical of anybody that gets paid the kind of money Scott
9:58 gets paid to react that way to a very
10:02 simple debate which you know you're[ __] losing.
10:05 I accept I accept all that.
10:07 I stipulate to every word of that.
10:09 I believe every word of that is true.
10:12 But more deeply than that, what what set him off there?
10:18 What what made him lose his lose his mind there?
10:23 Why did he lose control there?
10:25 Let's play it again.
10:26 Can we play it again?
10:26 And we'll go through it.
10:28 Yeah, let's go through.
10:28 Can we play that again?
10:29 Mike.
10:29 Jennings is more than happy to defend a war with a country
10:31 that starts with the letters IRA that we are currently failing.
10:34 That is going to put us trillions and trillions of dollars more in debt.
10:37 I was only a few years old while
10:38 you were in the administration defending prior endless wars.
10:41 Now this war is failing.
10:43 Eight weeks is endless to you.
10:44 Okay.
10:44 You said it was going to end.
10:45 You had the attention span of a net.
10:47 I debated you on TV four to six weeks away from making condescending remarks.
10:53 So like right right through that line.
10:55 Right now you're making condescending remarks.
10:57 Right.
10:57 Just from a debate study.
10:59 He's just got right.
11:01 20 23 year old kid which isn't fair to call him a 23 year old kid.
11:06 I do it all the time.
11:07 I got a 21 year old.
11:09 You got kids.
11:10 So now we're watching Right.
11:12 Now we're watching, right?
11:14 Like a young man there, right?
11:16 That's like the age of our sons roughly.
11:18 Like you know, he's he's a year and a half old.
11:21 He's a year older than my daughter.
11:23 He's he's he's two years older than my son.
11:25 He's the age of your son.
11:27 Yes.
11:27 Yes.
11:29 Right.
11:29 And so you got a you got a 23 year old young man kid there,
11:34 whatever whatever you want to call him,
11:35 but you know, if he's he's in any one
11:38 of the things that I've ever worked for in my career, right?
11:41 He's got a very junior job.
11:44 Y
11:43 uh he's just right out of school, but boy is he impressive.
11:47 And he's been on a couple times and so
11:50 this isn't his first uh ride around the rodeo.
11:54 and he is into Scott Jennings from the beginning.
11:59 He takes him on the he's got a clever line, the three letters IRA.
12:05 Um he he talks about, hey, you know, when all this began,
12:10 I was just I was just barely born and here we are again,
12:14 you know, and and you know,
12:15 Scott Jennings then personalizes it, attacks them, right?
12:19 You have the you have the character of anat.
12:22 That's the the first low blow, right?
12:25 You know, first loss of control.
12:27 He's personalizing this.
12:29 Adam has said nothing that is inappropriate.
12:32 That's not
12:33 nothing porative.
12:34 No, nothing porative whatsoever.
12:36 Just he's been smooth.
12:37 He's been articulate.
12:39 He's been in control.
12:40 And then we got and then we got the the total loss of control here coming up.
12:45 But what do you see before we get there?
12:47 I mean, what do you see there?
12:48 Like I see what you see.
12:50 You started he's angry obviously.
12:52 Yeah.
12:53 Well, I I see this this like a dimminionative[ __] eating grin
12:56 on people like Scott Jennings all the time after they say something, you know?
13:00 And I think if you study human behavior a little bit,
13:02 you understand uh how people's reactions dictate how they feel, right?
13:06 You can really see it inside someone's face when they do something
13:09 like this after they say something or like whatever like dismissive and shitty.
13:14 But what I saw there was a guy
13:15 get confronted with the truth about his own record.
13:18 a guy that got confronted with facts who then started to insult the young man.
13:23 And the young man, Adam Mockler, to your point,
13:26 exact same age as my middle guy, is so cool and calm,
13:30 he just continues to present the facts to him that, hey,
13:34 you just insulted me because you don't have an argument.
13:36 You just insulted me because I'm right.
13:38 And as he's, and this is really, really important,
13:41 as he moves a little closer to him,
13:44 that's when that inner fire comes out of Scott because he knows he's got right.
13:48 He knows he's done.
13:49 He knows he has nowhere to go.
13:51 And much like Donald Trump, when they get when he gets asked, "Hey, uh, sir, Mr.
13:55 President, um, what can you tell me about, uh, the manifesto?" Nor O'Donnell,
14:02 what can you tell me about the manifesto
14:04 of the of the Hilton shooter or the alleged assassin?
14:07 And he's like, "You're the worst.
14:08 You're terrible.
14:09 I can't believe you asked me that.
14:11 You're awful.
14:12 I knew you'd ask me that." It's just insult after
14:15 insult because they are so afraid of anybody scratching the truth.
14:18 And Mr.
14:19 Mockler there didn't just scratch at the truth.
14:21 He kicked the truth door in until it bled daylight in about two seconds.
14:24 And then we get this reaction.
14:26 Let's play the reaction one more time if we can, Mike.
14:28 I think we're there already in the clip.
14:32 I debated you on TV four to six weeks
14:34 ago when you said we were weeks away from it.
14:35 Now you're making condescending remarks because you can't defend
14:37 the fact that this war is not going your way.
14:39 Wait one more time.
14:40 Not going one political concession.
14:43 One political concession.
14:44 Honestly, I'm not going to everybody.
14:48 Did you see that?
14:48 Okay, stop.
14:49 Stop that clip there.
14:50 I'm not going to have this guy do that in my face.
14:53 The entitlement, the ego,
14:56 what he thinks he is that he's presenting to other
14:58 people is never more apparent than in that clip.
15:01 Sure, he snapped, but then he puts himself above the phrase like,
15:04 "I'm not having that guy stick his finger in my face."
15:07 What is it about that guy?
15:09 What is it about?
15:10 What is it?
15:10 What is triggering him there?
15:13 I don't even think Adam Mockler's close to being inside his physical space
15:23 that that that triggers that.
15:24 He just turns and snaps at him.
15:29 Yes.
15:29 Right.
15:29 Like I mean he's like a school shooter in that.
15:34 Yeah.
15:34 In that moment, right?
15:35 He's just he's just jackal jackal and hide there.
15:39 And it it has to say something, right?
15:43 say about the culture of the leadership to tolerate
15:50 this right behavior that he feels entitled to say,
15:57 "Get your hands out of my[ __] face on a global broadcast on on CNN." Mhm.
16:11 That's exactly what happened.
16:12 [laughter] Wow.
16:14 I think I think I think you nailed it.
16:16 And and you're right.
16:16 It's the through line of MAGA.
16:18 It is they are cornered rats.
16:21 And you know, from that clip to, you know,
16:24 Thursday and Friday of this last week,
16:26 we had Pete Hegath for the first time in the 60-day war
16:30 get hauled into the Armed Services Committee in the House and the Senate.
16:33 not only perjur himself but he also came unglued a half a dozen times
16:39 and I want again I mean this is you know this is good news
16:43 everybody while we're watching this it's
16:45 insane it's insanity it's all those things
16:47 but we're trying to act as your sherpa to help you understand that this is
16:51 good this is they are cracking they
16:53 are snapping they cannot maintain composure there's
16:55 no more calm involved in any of this they are all cornered and they
16:58 know it and Pete Hex found out with Roana yesterday this is an unbelievable
17:03 able clip and I want to play it for everybody and I want your thoughts.
17:06 This is the Secretary of Defense.
17:07 I refuse to call him the Secretary of War.
17:09 He's not the Secretary of War.
17:12 Under American law, he's not there is no Secretary of War.
17:15 He made up made up the title.
17:18 Yeah.
17:18 And a new emblem, too, which is illegal.
17:20 And it's I believe it's a uh an indictable offense if I'm not mistaken.
17:23 But anyway, we'll talk about that a little later on.
17:25 But Ro kind of cornered him and again cornered.
17:28 This is the through line between the MAGA nervous system.
17:32 Freak out, deflect, and and then and then project.
17:36 Let's let's watch this clip if we can.
17:38 How much did it cost American taxpayers in terms
17:40 of the strike to the Iranian school where kids were killed?
17:43 Do you have that number in terms of the missiles we used?
17:48 As I've said, that uh unfortunate situation remains under investigation.
17:53 You don't know how much investigation,
17:54 but I wouldn't tie a cost to that to anything.
17:57 It's a reasonable question.
17:58 No, sir.
17:58 I mean, our taxpayer money was going there.
18:00 Do you know how much it will cost Americans in terms of their increased
18:04 cost in gas and food over the next year because of the Iran war?
18:11 I would simply ask you what the cost is of an Iranian nuclear bomb.
18:14 I'm going to give you that.
18:15 I would simply ask you what
18:16 the You're playing gota questions about domestic things.
18:19 I'm not You're asking You're saying it's a gotcha question to ask
18:22 what it's going to be in terms of the increase.
18:24 Why won't you answer what it costs
18:26 to to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear bomb?
18:28 I'll give you that, sir.
18:28 But let me What would it cost?
18:30 What would you pay to ensure Iran doesn't get a nuclear bomb?
18:32 What would you pay?
18:34 I reclaim my time.
18:35 Do you not know?
18:35 You had no one do the analysis of what the increased cost
18:38 of gas and food on the American people are going to be.
18:41 What is the cost of Iran holding that straight at issue with nuclear weapons?
18:45 It's $631 billion, which means it's an increase
18:49 of $5,000 a year for American households.
18:53 Now, Uh, incredible job by Roana in my estimation.
18:58 Uh, but again, you saw that same vibe,
19:00 that same nervous system answer, that same deflection.
19:03 Uh, the same collapse under the weight of facts.
19:07 Uh, would love your thoughts, Steve.
19:09 I saw a couple things yesterday watching this.
19:11 Uh, first behaviorally was the out of control cackling,
19:17 the nervousness, the laughter.
19:21 uh very odd comportment and without hyperbole whatsoever and I
19:29 think it's important sometimes when we make points about this when
19:37 you do what I'm about to do that you have
19:41 to be very specific and and characterize it but over 251 years.
19:52 Institutions of the armed forces are older than the country.
19:57 There there has never been a leader
20:00 that approaches this guy's unfitness at a moral level,
20:08 at an intellectual level, at a mental health level.
20:11 He is he is as unfit a person as has ever been around the US military.
20:19 a 251 years of history of the United States military.
20:29 Then the the second part of this is that I don't think
20:32 the Democrats did a very good job in the hearing with the questions.
20:36 And I say that as someone who thinks Roan is a great member of Congress.
20:41 Yeah.
20:41 Why?
20:44 Um this a this is an Armed Services Committee hearing.
20:47 This ain't a hearing about gas prices.
20:50 What this hearing should be about is the fact that these two
20:53 Kaine and Hegsath have architected a war that we're losing
20:58 to Iran and and that is a serious serious matter
21:02 and that should have been the relentless focus as a political matter.
21:07 You're asking questions.
21:09 Do you know the price of gas?
21:11 Do you know this?
21:12 Do you know this?
21:12 So there are two things there.
21:15 One, the American people have already assigned
21:18 blame to this, which you can explain,
21:22 right, and comprehend by looking at the poll numbers.
21:27 Mhm.
21:26 That that's why, right, they the American people have already cast blame.
21:32 And therefore, you have to be on top of the wave,
21:37 not behind it, and not under it.
21:39 So instead of asking questions about something you already know the answer
21:43 to that the American people have fixed blame to you assert if you want to talk
21:48 about gas prices you assert and you assert in the cause of a losing
21:53 war that strategically what you have achieved
21:58 is the Iranians now control the straight of
22:04 Hormuz they control passage for X percentage of the world tieium
22:08 x percentage of the world's world's hydrogen precursor agents for X Y
22:14 and Z X% of the world's petroleum on a global market
22:19 and now the cost of that to the average American is whatever.
22:26 Mhm.
22:26 And then there's just the simple cost of petroleum
22:31 for the US military that surges for an operation at this.
22:36 So we spend extraordinary scores of billions of dollars.
22:40 I mean, imagine if every state got a billion dollars to build schools.
22:47 It's extraordinary.
22:49 And he sits there, the secretary and the general,
22:54 without being asked questions with a relentless focus
22:57 on the military and the strategic failure and what happens next.
23:04 Mhm.
23:05 So, the questions are prosetorial, which I don't mind,
23:09 but they're gotcha questions when people have already decided you[ __] us.
23:19 Mhm.
23:18 We blame you.
23:21 Right.
23:21 So, 70% of the country roughly looks at this.
23:27 So, this is a catastrophe.
23:30 Mhm.
23:31 Now, everybody now has a grievance against Trump, right?
23:37 Which requires people like in my shoes in America who have
23:42 been against him for 12 years from the beginning, unwaveringly so,
23:48 to get off our high horses and welcome aboard the the mass
23:53 of Americans that are necessary to come aboard to end this atrocity.
23:58 And that's and that's what it is.
24:00 Yeah.
24:00 Fascinating.
24:01 I I I appreciate that perspective because, you know,
24:03 to a to a person and if you understand anything about sound
24:06 bites and how it works in the House of Commons here in Canada,
24:09 uh, you know, the the the actual business
24:11 of sound bites is so much more important
24:13 than the business of actually getting down
24:14 to the business of why you're actually[ __] there, right?
24:17 I It's no different in the United States than it is in Canada.
24:20 But, you know, when you consider the fact that this is going
24:25 to make life even more unaffordable in the United States of America,
24:30 uh, that doesn't seem to be a consideration
24:32 that this regime gives two shits about.
24:35 And I wasn't going to play the the gas prices clip,
24:38 and I know you're not hot on the gas prices,
24:40 but, you know, there's a clip where um,
24:43 ranking member Goodlander asked uh, Hegsath if he knows how much gas costs.
24:48 and and it's in this clip.
24:49 I think it proves your point,
24:50 but I also want to springboard onto something else.
24:52 If we could play that clip real quick, Mike, that'd be great.
24:55 Mr.
24:55 Hexith, can I ask you, do you know what what the average cost of a gallon
24:59 of gas was in this country on on February 28th?
25:04 Well, it depends on where you live.
25:05 If you live in California, it's eight bucks.
25:08 $283.
25:08 Do you know what the average cost of a gallon of gas is today?
25:12 Much higher in California.
25:14 $423.
25:15 I gotta say, Mr.
25:16 Seth, you said you've got a crack economic team that's looking at the impacts
25:21 of this war on the American taxpayer and you can't answer this basic question.
25:25 Uh, that should shock the conscience of every American.
25:30 Yeah.
25:30 I mean, it's the insult to intelligence and that smug[ __] eatating grin
25:35 uh when it comes to the affordability for Americans making gas very expensive.
25:42 And that's that's the street, right?
25:43 like we're not talking about policy [clears throat] here.
25:46 We're talking about the real life effects of what it
25:48 is that that Pete Hegath is downloading onto the American people.
25:53 And to that point, as we kind of go back to the Jennings snap job, the sarcasm,
25:58 the[ __] eating aspects of how he answered
26:00 that pointing the finger at Gavin Nuskum in California,
26:03 gas is eight bucks a liter there.
26:05 It is it is I felt insulted for the American people.
26:10 I felt sad for the American people just in that one crazy moment
26:14 because all Pete Hegath said there to me was Steve,[ __] the American people.
26:18 He even reiterated that yesterday saying the greatest danger to America are
26:23 the Democrats and everybody that's questioning him
26:26 about how much this war is costing.
26:28 Like he said that yesterday.
26:30 I don't I don't So I think that the Democrats
26:38 need to step back and come up with a strategic approach
26:45 that has to do with the heart of the matter which
26:49 is that we started a war with Iran that we're losing.
26:54 Yeah.
26:53 Right.
26:53 at the at the core that is the main issue.
26:57 And there's the cost of that war in human life, American life, Iranian life,
27:04 in national prestige, in our alliances,
27:07 in dollars on so forth, and and and everything else.
27:12 Yesterday was a historic day was April 30th and that means it's been
27:18 51 years since the last American helicopter flew off the helicopter in Saigon.
27:27 And I wish there had been a Democrat who
27:31 was ready to take this to the next level,
27:35 maybe even to show video of that moment and to say you come
27:41 before this committee with very little
27:45 credibility because of your misconduct as secretary.
27:51 And there was no effort
27:56 to put [clears throat] him in his place and in doing so make a big point.
28:04 Starting with can you share with the committee your title please?
28:11 Are you aware of the history of the day?
28:13 Do you remember the five o'clock follyies reading about that from Vietnam?
28:21 the religious crack pottery.
28:25 General Kaine is deeply unimpressive.
28:29 But I I don't want to see the work
28:34 of the Armed Services Committee become
28:38 contaminated with domestic policy gotcha questions.
28:42 Again, the country, you can look at a huge slew of polling indicators
28:50 from their economic anxiety to real world indicators to where everything is.
28:55 They blame Trump.
28:57 They blame Trump.
28:59 what what the Democrats have an obligation to do and this comes now into focus
29:08 for a much larger issue which is
29:10 the questioning that Angus King gets into though
29:13 the the what I'm going to talk about the outcome isn't on point to what
29:17 King was getting at where he is demanding
29:20 that Congress pass a $1.5 trillion defense budget
29:26 and to the answer to that has to be no
29:29 right There's there is nothing that conceivably
29:31 justifies a trillion half dollar defense
29:35 budget which not so long ago pierced one trillion dollars for the first time.
29:40 This is an organization that can't pass an audit and
29:44 they haven't they haven't for 13 months.
29:45 Right?
29:46 They cannot pass an audit, right?
29:49 The military industrial complex, the surveillance state, all of it.
29:54 This needs to be brought to heal.
29:57 And just so just so people can understand and we
30:00 may have talked about this but these numbers are so abstract.
30:04 This is the only meaningful way I can explain this number to people.
30:08 A million seconds from now is 12 days from now.
30:12 A billion seconds from now is 32 years from now.
30:17 A trillion seconds is 32,000 years from now.
30:22 Right?
30:23 We just crested over a trillion dollars.
30:28 And so, so what is the purpose of a trillion half dollar military?
30:35 And what are we spending the money on?
30:38 13.5 billion dollar aircraft carriers that have
30:42 a range from the flight deck that is
30:45 less than the range of the drone
30:48 and the range of the missile that threatens them.
30:52 that denies them an area of operation
30:55 to say nothing of the Chinese hypersonic drone.
30:59 A new era of warfare has revealed itself.
31:04 technologies which equalize and erase America's advantage with a supreme
31:13 threat from Russia which is to put a nuclear
31:18 weapon into space and obliterate 90% of our satellites
31:26 and in an instant modern life ceases in the United States.
31:31 M
31:32 and so we should think deeply about this moment,
31:36 about what we're spending money on, about the country that's falling apart,
31:41 about the people that are being left behind.
31:44 Donald Trump Jr.
31:45 and Eric Trump are signing multihundreds million dollar contracts of drones
31:54 to the government in the war started by their father.
31:58 while the elite forces of the United States are
32:02 engaging in gambling on some of these prediction sites.
32:08 Mhm.
32:08 Are you kidding me?
32:09 And there weren't questions asked yesterday about
32:11 that that I'm aware of that I saw covered anyway,
32:17 right, to either the secretary or the chairman.
32:19 And there and there should have been.
32:21 So I I don't like at the end of the day,
32:25 we're two months into a war that Donald Trump has talked
32:29 months ago about that we're going to ask for unconditional surrender.
32:34 We're going to ask for this.
32:36 What yesterday should have been about is reading those statements back
32:40 and undermining every statement,
32:47 ludicrous statement made with previous ludicrous statements that now we
32:53 can judge two months into how all this is going.
32:59 Well said.
32:59 Well said as always, Steve.
33:00 believe this Lucer's statement in that Angus
33:02 King clip uh really kind of underscore
33:06 and and pin foundationally what you just said
33:10 uh not just about the cost to American taxpayers
33:12 but the the ambiguity in and around military
33:15 spending and to your other point Denver Wman's done
33:18 an incredible job following this stuff when it
33:20 comes to the Trump sons U and Kusay Jr.
33:22 I love I love that.
33:23 I steal it all the time.
33:25 The trademark Steve Schmidt.
33:26 Uh Ro.
33:29 Thanks, Mike.
33:29 Yeah.
33:29 Uh we we'll get to that clip in just a second.
33:31 But you you underscore this$ 1.5 trillion
33:34 budget with $720 million in soul source contracts
33:38 that went from the Pentagon as green lit
33:40 by Donald Trump for the Trump crime family.
33:43 When it comes to two companies, Unusual Machines and Power Us,
33:47 these are two companies that are drone companies that are
33:49 wholly or or partly owned by Donald Trump Jr., Peter Teal, Founders Fund.
33:54 I did an entire thing on Palunteer.
33:56 It's also involved in with Palunteer.
33:58 And you cannot buy around in the drone
34:00 industry and around the military-industrial complex
34:02 in the United States of America without
34:04 enriching the Trump crime family right now.
34:06 And you know, you start a war that you have no
34:09 feasible way of winning and you find out that you're losing.
34:12 And what do you do?
34:13 You send Donald and Eric and Zack Witoff
34:17 to the UAE to pedal their new drones while
34:21 they're currently being rained down upon by the Iranian regime.
34:23 It is truly spectacular.
34:25 And to that point, this$ 1.5 trillion budget,
34:28 a bunch of that money goes to the Trump crime family, because again,
34:32 you cannot buy anything in the military-industrial
34:34 complex in the United States without putting money
34:37 in the pockets of the Trump crime family
34:39 because of the way this is all structured.
34:41 And to that point, let's play the Angus King clip.
34:43 1.5 trillion.
34:44 But how Pete Hegath does not want to talk about it.
34:47 Let's play that clip, Mike.
34:48 Why not?
34:49 What all those items of housing or Golden Dome,
34:52 whatever, why aren't they in the in the regular budget?
34:54 Why do we suddenly have a two-part budget where
34:58 the this committee and the Congress generally has oversight
35:01 and and and input to a process where a a quarter
35:05 of the budget is is essentially a slush fund.
35:09 Well, Senator, I appreciate the question.
35:11 I wouldn't characterize a quarter of it as a as a slush fund,
35:14 but I recognize that we see it
35:15 as a in totality as a $1.5 trillion budget separation.
35:20 Why the two pieces multiple?
35:22 As you know, there are multiple dynamics uh
35:24 that play into why there are multiple vehicles,
35:27 but we are fully committed with working to the committee to ensure
35:29 that the right vehicles are utilized to get precisely this amount, 1.5 trillion.
35:34 Why should we You didn't answer my question.
35:36 Why are there two pieces?
35:37 Why?
35:37 Why not?
35:38 For time in memorial, we've done budgets here.
35:41 We've never to my knowledge,
35:43 we've never used this reconciliation process for a defense budget before.
35:46 What's what's going on?
35:49 Why not?
35:49 My understanding of the reason for the vehicles is to ensure we
35:53 actually get to 1.5 trillion which is the most important bottom line.
35:57 The most important bottom line is that top
35:59 line of 1.5 trillion to fund what we need.
36:01 And we think this process is the most effective way to get there.
36:04 Senator,
36:06 well, what you're really saying is we don't want
36:08 to deal with that pesky Congress and their appropriation process.
36:11 I I think it's I think this is significant, Mr.
36:13 chairman that we're we're basically abdicating a quarter
36:17 of our responsibility in terms of this budget.
36:19 Let me Yeah, I I want your thoughts on that clip,
36:23 but I want to tie it to this next clip because you talk about failure, right?
36:26 We're talking about budget.
36:27 We're talking about downloading that cost onto the American taxpayer.
36:30 We're talking about hidden costs, enriching the Trump crime family.
36:33 We're also talking about extreme military failure on behalf
36:35 of the United States military with Pete Nutsack involved.
36:39 And that was pointed out to him in this clip by ranking member Smith.
36:43 If we could play this clip, Mike.
36:44 Thanks.
36:45 So, they haven't broken yet.
36:47 Okay.
36:47 We haven't gotten there yet for all of the
36:50 Well, their nuclear facilities have been obliterated underground.
36:53 They're buried and we're watching them 24/7.
36:56 So, we know where any nuclear material for a second here.
37:01 We had to start this war, you just said 60 days ago,
37:06 because the nuclear weapon was an imminent threat.
37:10 Now, you're saying that it was completely obliterated.
37:12 not given up their nuclear ambitions and they
37:15 had a conventional shield of thousands of
37:18 operation midnight hammer nothing of substance left
37:22 in the same place we were before
37:24 so much so
37:25 their facilities were bombed and obliterated their their ambitions
37:29 continued and they're building a conventional shield try again
37:33 it's the North Korea strategy you know this very well
37:35 the North Korea strategy was use conventional missiles to prevent anybody
37:38 from challenging them so they could slow walk their way
37:41 to a weapon President Trump saw Iran at its weakest moment,
37:45 took an action to ensure in a way that only the United States of America
37:48 could do with our Israeli partners
37:50 to ensure their conventional shield was was brought.
37:55 Uh you know what I love about that clip?
37:57 Um uh all of it, but mostly I I love the fact that he said
38:01 we're going to just continue to bomb
38:03 their ambitions [laughter] and I need 1.5 trillion.
38:08 So there's there's a couple things that like I I react to that and you know
38:14 as you know uh and you're involved with uh
38:19 I'm involved with the Save America movement and
38:24 so we have an organization uh that you know
38:29 is you know to keep it in perspective right
38:32 we have we have a country of 350 million
38:35 people but we have an organization that's a year world,
38:38 you know, that's that's coming up on I think half a million donors.
38:44 Um, has content interacted with by some score
38:48 of millions of of people and a lot of folks
38:53 who really are investing in trying to make some
38:58 things stop with an eye on making some things happen.
39:03 And I think you have to get
39:07 to the bottom of the terrible abuses that are discovered
39:15 that are uncovered that will be as Democrats take
39:19 charge and we have to have public hearings about them.
39:24 When I look at the ranking member there, Smith, I see a lot of promise, right?
39:29 And and I and I kind of sit there and I and I and I think to myself,
39:34 why is it that he's on the clock for five minutes?
39:39 His style suggests to me that maybe he should
39:43 be on the clock with Heg Seth for 25 minutes, right?
39:48 Because that line of questioning yields
39:52 answers that deserve unraveling because they're absurd.
40:00 And and what unravels is a justification
40:04 for a war of choice that the administration has put itself in a position where
40:13 it's either forward more escalation or surrender.
40:19 and retreat.
40:21 And the reality is is the sooner we get out,
40:28 the better off and the more secure the situation will be, right?
40:37 And and the reality is is right now because we have no boots on the ground,
40:43 we have no control on the ground in our in Iran.
40:46 And so the aspirations of the Iranian people that Donald Trump sold out when
40:51 he told them that help was on the way crushed maybe for a generation.
40:57 We have a new Ayatollah Kmeni apparently
41:00 more extreme than the last Ayatollah Kmeni.
41:05 We have the nuclear material obliterated, unobliterated,
41:10 obliterated depending on on what day of the week.
41:14 and it's a big thing and and so so the hearing should focus with laserlike
41:23 precision on some of the big things and and with respect to Angus King,
41:29 he knows the answer to the question.
41:32 It's not a Columbbo episode, right?
41:36 You're the ranking member.
41:37 You have some agency and power.
41:39 Stay what you're for and stay what you're against.
41:44 who wish to state that he's against is that over my dead body are we going
41:51 to spend a trillion and a half dollars
41:55 on on the military when we're $40 trillion in debt.
42:06 It's not sustainable.
42:09 And and so what we have to do is we have to have a debate.
42:14 And the debate gets to the heart of some
42:16 things like should we have troops in 110 countries?
42:21 Uh do we have the rightsiz Marine Corps?
42:28 How about the rightsiz navy?
42:33 Do we need to have a smaller army to pay for that?
42:40 And and do we in fact need less
42:42 billion dollar fighter planes and more $100,000 drones?
42:54 [clears throat] But but it appears to any casual observer that God helped
42:58 the United States in a war in the Western Pacific against the Chinese.
43:04 We have a we have a industrial supply capacity problem.
43:11 A lot of the American military budget goes
43:15 to hardware that's dependent on Chinese supply chain.
43:23 And pouring more money onto a bonfire does not help solve this problem.
43:31 M you know he you you have you have
43:35 a you have a you have a military industrial complex.
43:41 We're all Pete Hags assass bluster and[ __] about lethality and all of that.
43:46 What the what the country needs is a is a secretary and an under secretary,
43:51 deputy secretary combo who go on in there with a clear mandate
43:56 from the president to that this this this department will pass a[ __] audit,
44:05 which hasn't happened for 13 months, by the way.
44:07 Well, it's longer than that.
44:08 It hasn't hasn't passed an audit in years.
44:12 Hasn't been able to pass an audit in years.
44:14 And if you go and you read the Eisenhower speech, right,
44:20 and you and you and you and you consider
44:23 it in the context of the George Washington farewell speech,
44:29 you know, you have a couple of profound warnings that were
44:32 essentially the the warnings about the excesses of political parties.
44:37 Mhm.
44:38 about the danger of foreign entanglements and the profound danger
44:45 to liberty of the rise of the national security state.
44:52 And you see that absolutely during the Trump era,
44:56 whether it be through the Homeland Security Department
45:00 or through a trillion half dollar defense budget proposal
45:06 and what they choose to do with it, right?
45:07 like what they choose to do with it.
45:08 And I think the the all girls school in Manib
45:11 and the death of about 175 school children and him saying,
45:14 "Yeah, but you know, nuclear weapons." Yeah.
45:17 I I mean, not just disingenuous,
45:18 but you see the evil that lives inside this regime, number one, number two,
45:23 and the ambiguous nature with which they're treating the American taxpayer
45:26 with complete disrespect and the insult to intelligence uh of this regime.
45:30 I mean, you wrap it all up into what you're talking about, you know,
45:33 and it's it [clears throat] was never more evident
45:35 this week that this regime is in full collapse,
45:38 which is why we're having this conversation.
45:40 And it's not just about the regime in full collapse.
45:43 It's about the appropriation of that money
45:45 and and the insult to the American taxpayer.
45:47 And to that point, you know, ICE is now fully funded.
45:51 You talk about a secret police force.
45:52 This is a secret police force.
45:53 the only democracy in the in the world that has
45:55 a secret police force that is allowed to do whatever they want,
45:58 whenever they want, however they want.
46:00 They got a brand new facelift this this week, and I'm sure you saw it.
46:03 ICE is now nice.
46:06 Yeah.
46:06 They're put they're putting out, you know,
46:07 videos of those unmasked guys helping people with luggage at airports going,
46:11 "See, we're nice about this.
46:14 I know [laughter] talked about it." But it's unbelievable.
46:19 But again, an an absolute insult to the intelligence of every single person
46:24 that knows what ICE has done to Americans for Donald Trump over the past year.
46:30 Whether it's Yeah.
46:33 Everyone disapproves and he's going down.
46:38 You're going to have a wipeout of wipeouts.
46:40 You have Democratic majority in the Senate.
46:43 You're going to have Democratic majority in the House.
46:48 and and what comes next is laying the track
46:54 for the Democratic presidential nominee and a Democratic administration.
47:00 Mhm.
47:01 That's hopefully hopefully the next Secretary of Defense
47:03 doesn't have a coke problem, too.
47:04 That's what that's what has to that's what has to come next.
47:11 Mhm.
47:10 And there and there has to be there has to be plans.
47:12 I I don't know why somebody can't say
47:16 this and I maybe this is my position maybe it
47:20 is my position alone but I but I think
47:23 this would be a position that Democrats could run on
47:28 which is which is to say that to the question of abolishing ICE
47:36 which is [clears throat] there will be a federal
47:39 agency that manages immigration and its name is going
47:45 to be the United States Border Security Agency and it
47:51 it will work with the Canadian Border Security Agency.
47:56 It will be the Border Security Agency, but ICE will no longer exist.
48:03 and every single ICE officer who was hired during
48:08 the Christy era and received 47 days of training.
48:13 Thank you for your service.
48:16 Your badge is gone.
48:18 Your certification is gone.
48:20 Your training is revoked.
48:21 Turn in your badge.
48:24 Customs and Border Patrol.
48:26 If you've read the whack job Dan Pavino's interview that he that he just gave,
48:34 it's an irredeemable organization.
48:40 Yeah.
48:39 Okay.
48:40 So, what what can you do?
48:42 Do we need to have a force that patrols the border?
48:49 We do.
48:52 Right.
48:53 Whatever its name is going to be, it will not be the Custom and Border Patrol.
49:00 Mhm.
49:00 [clears throat] It will have a new name and it will have new uniforms
49:06 and its identity that existed for a hundred years will be remade entirely.
49:16 [clears throat] You go see Pavino's uniform in the Museum of Tolerance.
49:21 no more.
49:25 M and so this stuff needs to be broken up.
49:27 Secret Service Secret Service used to be an elite
49:32 force when when they were Treasury agents, right?
49:38 And that's where they should go back to the the Coast
49:42 Guard doesn't belong in the Homeland Security Department.
49:45 It belongs in the Defense Department.
49:48 And the next person who's the defense secretary who calls himself the secretary
49:54 of war should trigger some type of provision that removes them from office.
50:02 And so on down the list it goes.
50:06 [clears throat] But there there has to be serious repercussions
50:10 and serious adjustments to law to to normalize what
50:17 was once taken for granted about people assuming great
50:22 responsibility and having the capacity to exhibit some restraint
50:26 which is [clears throat] obviously something that is
50:28 that is that is that is lost on this crowd.
50:32 Yeah.
50:32 Protect your borders.
50:33 Don't use a border protection agency to attack your citizens.
50:36 I mean, it's simple.
50:38 __] Every time I see a CBP vest
50:39 or an ice suit running into a house, it's disgusting.
50:42 And it leads us to our last story.
50:44 Uh, learned about her recently.
50:46 Msuna Khan.
50:47 Um, this is an incredible story.
50:50 This is a woman who was in the United States for 30 years since 1997.
50:56 Uh, dutifully showed up to every single immigration hearing she had.
51:01 And not only did she show up to these immigration hearings,
51:05 she also made sure that she was on side
51:10 with every piece of paperwork she brought out.
51:12 Um brought out every single piece of um documentation
51:16 that she needed to stay in the United States.
51:19 Shows up to her immigration hearing.
51:21 I believe this is back in December.
51:22 She was released in November.
51:25 So, this this woman from Bangladesh, as you pointed out,
51:28 she was here on a US visa from 1997.
51:30 She just gets picked up when she goes in to do
51:32 her duty as an immigrant to the United States of America,
51:35 law-abiding, taxpaying, observant US resident.
51:40 She then gets taken, shoved into Cal City,
51:44 which is the California City Detention Center, for 30 days.
51:50 And it's one of the most incredible stories I have ever heard.
51:54 And I've heard a lot of stories.
51:56 We've seen some deaths.
51:56 We've seen some sadness.
51:58 We've seen the Abbrego Garcia thing.
52:00 The the child that was taken from Minneapolis
52:02 and flown to a different country and then hurried back.
52:04 That was about 2 months ago.
52:06 But this story is incredible.
52:07 64 shackle the detained California City Ice Detention Center.
52:11 She's now released and you guys are friends here,
52:15 the beautiful people at the Save America movement sat
52:17 down with her and they asked her about her experience.
52:21 Asked her to share her experience.
52:22 I've got a clip.
52:23 I believe the the actual interview in itself in its entirety with her daughter
52:28 is going to be aired this weekend on the Save America movement.
52:31 I encourage everybody to hit the Chiron at the top here.
52:34 Follow the Save America movement,
52:35 subscribe to the Save America movement, follow them on YouTube.
52:38 I'm pretty sure it'll be on the warning with Steve Schmidt.
52:41 I'll carry it as well,
52:42 but originally it is going to be on the Save America movement Substack site,
52:46 which is really easy.
52:48 We're here now.
52:48 You can find us.
52:49 And you can also go to the savemovement.org
52:52 or to access this after this gets aired.
52:55 But I really want everybody to pay attention
52:57 to this clip because this is humanity in itself.
53:00 This is what Donald Trump and the regime have done to some lawabiding people.
53:03 Who runs this facility?
53:04 Who runs this facility?
53:06 Poor civic runs the facility.
53:07 So yeah, private prison company.
53:11 Yeah, private prison company.
53:12 Uh enriched by Donald Trump.
53:14 If you can, Mike, if we can play the clip.
53:16 I was totally nervous and panicking.
53:20 The first night they took me from here to California city was not nice.
53:28 [music] That transporter was moving.
53:31 I was moving all around the places because [music]
53:36 driving was so rough and I was feeling dizzy.
53:43 They put me in the cell.
53:45 [music] It was freezing temperature.
53:47 I asked for blanket when I said it's too cold and I [music] cannot take it.
53:54 Give me something.
53:56 She said cold kills virus.
53:58 [music] I was there for like all night the lights on.
54:04 We try to call there is a phone but the phone
54:07 is not [music] working and the TV is too loud.
54:14 24 hours running [music] 40 TVs.
54:17 It's like kind of emotional torture and mental torture.
54:24 I love [music] America.
54:26 This is my country now.
54:27 I'm staying here almost 30 years, like 29 years this year.
54:33 This [music] is my home now.
54:36 Uh we'll have that interview on the Save America Substack this weekend.
54:39 Save America movement.
54:40 Look for them on YouTube.
54:41 Follow them on Substack.
54:42 Subscribe to them.
54:43 today.
54:43 Steve, I want your thoughts.
54:44 But real quick, uh on Monday,
54:46 Operation Liberty with the Save America movement is
54:48 going to be back in California with no campa.
54:50 If we have the flyer, can we post the flyer?
54:52 Everybody can see this if you're in California City.
54:55 Uh the No Camps flyer if you can.
54:57 And this is going to be fascinating.
54:59 Would encourage everybody to go support Msuna, support the family,
55:03 and support every single person in a detention center across the United
55:07 States by showing up May the 4th uh in Van Ny, California.
55:10 There's the information.
55:11 can go to save America uh thesaveamemovement.org for more information and again
55:16 follow them here on Substack if you'd like to show up.
55:18 If you're in California, get out, make your voice heard.
55:21 Um because these massuna style stories,
55:23 they're not going away and they're increasing
55:25 in in in uh in volume, if you will, Steve.
55:29 your thoughts on on just that clip and and a tremendous job
55:33 obviously from the people at Save America getting to uh Miss Khan,
55:37 the the the stain, the stench of the dishonor
55:43 of the government sanctioned violence and cruelty will be longlasting.
55:53 And it's something that is going to have to be reckoned with.
55:58 And these camps, these private prisons are a moral abomination.
56:09 And I think that at some level you have to look at it.
56:13 I don't know if the right word is metaphysically,
56:17 but maybe it's not possible for there to be any institution
56:25 that is associated with profit that involves the incarceration of a human being.
56:34 no matter how necessitous that incarceration may be that does not
56:42 go off the edge that doesn't lose touch with the grass.
56:48 So in this case we have a private prison company with a board of directors where
56:55 the 64 year old woman is is being tortured and and that's the right word for it.
57:02 Mhm.
57:03 It can't be.
57:05 She's kept awake.
57:07 She can't uh sleep.
57:11 No necessities.
57:11 Yeah.
57:12 No necessities.
57:14 She's freezing.
57:16 Uh she's pre-diabetic.
57:18 They refused her medication, too, by the way.
57:20 Sadism of the guard, right?
57:24 So, so the question is putting putting aside all
57:27 of the policy debate about this which I which
57:33 I have strong strong feelings about is is is
57:38 in that story there's a there's a deep deep question.
57:44 Why not give her a blanket?
57:49 Why not give her medication?
57:51 Why not give her a pillow?
57:56 Why not give her healthy food?
58:02 And at a minimum, we should all agree with that.
58:10 And how do you serve on a board, Thood Marshall Jr.
58:15 looking at you where the rights of human
58:22 beings are abused as a matter of policy,
58:28 as a as a matter of frivolous policy, right?
58:38 Who who got the notion that you have license to be
58:45 abjectly cruel to a 64 year old woman who's freezing and done everything right
58:50 came from somewhere.
58:54 Yeah.
58:52 Right.
58:53 Came from the same[ __] place that explained Scott Jennings bullying behavior.
59:00 It's where it came from.
59:02 And that place is Donald Trump and MAGA.
59:05 And which is why when you look back I think at the totality
59:10 of everything that went down on the week
59:15 stemming from the White House correspondence dinner.
59:18 Spare me the crocodile tears and the phony outrage please.
59:26 Uh well said as always.
59:28 You know, the the through line here isn't just the collapse.
59:31 It's the lack of humanity behind the Trump regime.
59:34 And and you never never cease to disappoint talking about the moral failings,
59:39 the lack of character.
59:41 Yeah.
59:41 It's disgusting.
59:42 It's disease.
59:42 It's toxicity.
59:43 It's it's everything terrible that you can
59:46 imagine all wrapped up into one regime.
59:48 And the collapse is on.
59:49 Make no mistake about it.
59:51 because of people like Steve and people like
59:53 the good folks at the Save America Movement,
59:55 which is who brings you dead air every Monday.
1:00:00 Sorry.
1:00:00 Yeah.
1:00:00 Is it Monday?
1:00:01 No, we do Fridays.
1:00:02 We do Saturdays.
1:00:03 So, Saturdays and Mondays, that's what we do.
1:00:04 We recap the weekend on a Monday and then we get
1:00:06 out the rest of the week on a Saturday, which is today.
1:00:09 Um and and I need you and every single person
1:00:12 watching to know how much your support for this organization means.
1:00:15 This is a citizen-led organization.
1:00:17 It's right versus wrong.
1:00:18 It's humanity versus inhumity.
1:00:21 It's not about right versus left.
1:00:22 It's not about the ideology.
1:00:24 We are trying to fight this class war for the betterment of America,
1:00:28 for America's relationships and and better America.
1:00:31 And Steve along with Bishop uh William J.
1:00:34 Barber started the Save America movement with some really
1:00:37 really incredible people that have the ability to do
1:00:39 things like do the no camp and van
1:00:41 Knives to support people like this, the Liberty Vans, which will be there.
1:00:44 That'll happen on May the 4th.
1:00:46 If we could stick that uh that screen up there,
1:00:48 that flyer up there, the no camps flyer.
1:00:50 One more time, Mike.
1:00:50 I'd appreciate it.
1:00:51 I would encourage everybody to go because your voice is important.
1:00:53 So is your involvement in making sure that you stand with every single person.
1:00:58 It's not just about Miss Khan.
1:01:00 This is not just about a 64y old who did everything right for 30 years,
1:01:03 loves America, loves living here, brought up a family here.
1:01:05 This is about every single person
1:01:07 that has had their basic fundamental human rights
1:01:09 wiped out by the Trump regime who doesn't give a single[ __] about humanity,
1:01:14 does not care about the uh beautiful people in America.
1:01:17 Your freedom is second.
1:01:18 It's second to what they want for you
1:01:20 and their freedom is always going to be first.
1:01:22 So I would encourage everybody not
1:01:24 only to subscribe to the savemovement substack.
1:01:27 Please do that now.
1:01:28 Go to thesaveamemovement.org and check them out.
1:01:32 Please become a member.
1:01:33 Please donate if you can because that is how Liberty Vans show up and that is
1:01:36 why no camps day happened and that's why we have the ability to bring you
1:01:40 this information get underneath the news and information
1:01:42 you do not get from mainstream media which
1:01:45 is why we call this dead air this massuna story this con story by the way
1:01:49 it is 5 months old and it is now just becoming top of mind you
1:01:53 talk about dereliction of mainstream media duty
1:01:55 that is why we exist that's why we're
1:01:57 doing this I would encourage everybody again
1:02:00 make sure you become part of the fierce opposition to mega and Trump M all 50
1:02:03 states citizenled organizing in every village in town.
1:02:06 It is the Save America movement and one of the founders very
1:02:09 happy and and lucky to be able to do this with you.
1:02:12 Steve Schmidt, host of the warning, an indispensable Substack account.
1:02:17 I would encourage everybody to go and subscribe there.
1:02:19 You can hit that Chiron at the top Schmidt and The Warning.
1:02:22 And if you got a minute, please sub at deanblundell.substack.com.
1:02:26 Uh but we're here because we are you.
1:02:28 I say that all the time, Steve.
1:02:30 You know, it's funny.
1:02:30 we get a chance to kind of communicate and act as sherpas
1:02:33 uh and and and to encourage people to do the right thing,
1:02:36 but they only know how to do the right thing
1:02:38 if they can see that the wrong things being done.
1:02:40 And that's why the Save America movement exists.
1:02:41 It's why you and I are friends.
1:02:43 It's what we do together arm-in- arm with the Bishop Barbers of the world
1:02:46 and the Angie Rasmus of the world and everybody at the Save America movement,
1:02:50 Malcolm Nance, Ken Arbaugh.
1:02:52 Uh, and I couldn't be happier or prouder
1:02:54 to be standing alongside with you as your Canadian
1:02:56 cousin with this fight as we continue to move
1:02:58 towards bringing America back to what America was.
1:03:01 Good to be with you, Dean Blondelle.
1:03:03 Talk to you soon, pal.
1:03:11 Oh yeah, then of course [music] we need to leave
1:03:13 with this Donald Trump pretending to be the king of England.
1:03:17 Take it because [music] said in the famous Mr.
1:03:21 pit episode of Seinfeld to you either have grave
1:03:28 back in this wonderful building part of your democracy.
