0:00 Our fans can't stand Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh can't stand us.

0:07 It's just the way it is.

0:10 I don't been there many a time.

0:14 And you realize this is the same game

0:17 that's haunted us the last [music] 3 years.

0:20 That one game whether it was sooner that you didn't get homefield advantage

0:25 or whether it was later because you had to go play in their backyard.

0:29 Super Bowl hopes come to an end in Pittsburgh this afternoon.

0:39 The Ravens and the Steelers.

0:40 This is like the best rivalry in the league.

0:42 There's only one other linebacker in history who has more takeaways than you.

0:46 Who is that?

0:47 Jack Ham.

0:48 Jack Ham.

0:48 Here you go.

0:48 Baltimore Pittsburgh again.

0:50 Baltimore Pittsburgh again.

0:52 52.

0:54 52.

0:53 At the peak of your career, you were 100%.

0:57 What are you right now?

0:59 Probably 105.

1:00 [laughter]

1:05 Great answer.

1:06 [laughter]

1:08 The moment is here.

1:09 That's pretty good.

1:10 We done been here three years in a row and we let this team off the hook.

1:18 Make sure something tonight ain't taking you away from this moment, man.

1:22 CUZ THAT'S ALL WE GOT.

1:24 THAT'S WHAT y'all don't realize most of the times.

1:26 We don't get this again.

1:28 We don't get THIS AGAIN.

1:29 THE CLOCK RUNS TOO FAST.

1:32 THAT'S WHY WE GOT TO SAVOR THESE MOMENTS CUZ THEY RIGHT NOW.

1:35 I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN I WAS 24 AND 25.

1:38 THAT'S WHY GOD HAD TO INCARCERATE ME SO I CAN

1:41 SEE HOW GREAT MY BLESSING WAS THAT HE HAD for me.

1:44 So I HAD TO COME FROM A JAIL CELL BEING

1:46 IN position to then step on the Super Bowl podium.

1:50 Man, I DON'T DO THIS FOR ME.

1:54 I JUST I WATCH ENOUGH FILMS SO I CAN PUT MYSELF

1:56 IN POSITION TO MAKE MY defense the best defense in DAMN FOOTBALL.

2:01 THAT'S WHY I come back every year WITH NOT

2:05 LETTING THIS TEAM GET OUT OF HERE THIS TIME.

2:07 THAT'S WHAT WE HERE FOR.

2:08 A W.

2:11 And when we get off that bus tomorrow,

2:13 walk over there with a swagger that we're here for one thing.

2:18 W.

2:21 Here's a big big third down

2:23 for the Pittsburgh Steelers from the [music] Ravens 25.

2:26 Ravens rush four.

2:28 Rothllessber pocket collapsing on the run to the right.

2:31 Ray Lewis closing in.

2:32 Rothlesburg across end zone caught.

2:35 Touchdown Mike Wallace.

2:40 And for the first time tonight, the Steelers have the lead.

2:45 That night, I just felt something different.

2:50 224 to go.

2:52 Baltimore at their own 8 yd line, trailing by four.

2:56 If you watch that drive, you can see the change, the shift in power.

3:02 It started shifting.

3:07 Black steps up, throws complete.

3:09 Antoine Bolton out to the 29 yd line.

3:12 That will move the chain.

3:14 Oh Lord, I know what you said.

3:18 Oh Jesus.

3:18 I'm going to say thank you early, Lord.

3:21 They're down.

3:22 They're up 35.

3:24 Say thank you early, Lord.

3:26 I was telling everybody we will not lose this game.

3:30 Just trust me.

3:31 Quick.

3:32 We winning this one, dog.

3:33 It's his will, dog.

3:35 It's his will, dog.

3:37 16 seconds to go.

3:39 Third and 10.

3:41 It had to play out just like this, dog.

3:45 There's the snap.

3:49 [music] Blackfield throwing the end zone.

3:51 CAUGHT.

3:52 TOUCHDOWN.

3:54 TOUCHDOWN.

3:56 I TOLD YOU.

3:57 I told you.

3:59 Believe it.

4:00 Believe it.

4:02 Believe it.

4:06 Ravens over Pittsburgh for [music] a second time this season.

4:12 against at the end of the day for us to win that game.

4:17 That is who the Ravens are becoming.

4:20 The team that never dies.

4:25 Damn.

4:25 Coming up next.

4:28 No.

4:29 No.

4:29 I'm not all right.

4:30 No.

4:39 I turned pain into my friend.

4:43 The only way to ever defeat pain is recognize that pain exist.

4:49 That's the only way you'll ever beat pain.

4:52 Cuz pain come every second of our lives.

4:58 Damn.

5:02 No.

5:03 No.

5:03 I'm not all right.

5:04 No.

5:05 As soon as I couldn't pull my toe out, I said, "Oh my goodness."

5:09 And this was the toe that I had been dealing with for the last 2 years,

5:12 just chronic just, you know, just arthritic issues of just,

5:17 you know, just regular wear and tear.

5:20 You know when something gives.

5:23 And uh my toe gave.

5:26 Damn toe broke.

5:27 Toe bro.

5:29 As soon as I done it, I told Ed, Ed, we was on the field.

5:32 I said, "Bro, I messed up my foot."

5:35 Hey, [cheering] quit.

5:38 All right.

5:38 I broke my damn toe.

5:39 If it's just pain, let's go.

5:41 But if you're telling me that I can

5:43 really damage something and mess it up worse,

5:46 then I'm going to be smart with it.

5:53 When you're in an injury situation, you have a lot of time to yourself.

6:05 Adversity defines true character.

6:09 IF ONE OF US HURTING, THE OTHER PART GOT TO PICK IT UP.

6:13 HEY, where else would you rather be right now than right here?

6:16 Where else would you rather be than doing this?

6:18 On the field.

6:19 Oh yeah.

6:20 Sorry man.

6:34 [cheering] Happy birthday.

6:39 Thank you.

6:40 Happy birthday, baby.

6:42 Thank you.

6:44 My baby older now.

6:49 Uh-huh.

6:48 Oh no.

6:50 Oh no.

6:52 Oh no way.

6:54 Oh child, please.

7:02 You need to stop telling people you beat me in Monopoly.

7:04 I did only once.

7:06 I only won by luck.

7:07 You did not beat me in Monopoly.

7:09 Yes, I did.

7:11 Mm-

7:10 Yes, I did.

7:11 Y'all believe Rayland beat me in Monopoly?

7:14 [laughter] Do y'all know I will cheat from the bank before I let him beat me?

7:20 Ray Lewis may be the most famous face in Baltimore,

7:24 but out of town and away from the football spotlight,

7:27 he can still go unrecognized.

7:30 And he relishes the opportunities to be an ordinary dad.

7:35 With all the cameras, is he a movie star or who's the

7:38 Yeah, he is.

7:38 You are?

7:39 Yeah.

7:41 Yeah.

7:40 What do you What What's he famous for?

7:42 I don't I don't even have a TV.

7:44 Yeah.

7:44 Cook Raleigh Kid.

7:46 Yeah.

7:47 Yeah.

7:46 All right.

7:47 Awesome.

7:48 I'm going to have to watch it now.

7:51 A karate kick.

7:52 All right.

7:57 Make a wish and blow it out.

7:59 Blow it out.

8:00 Good job.

8:01 Back home, the Ravens win their fourth straight game without the injured Lewis.

8:07 The defensive leader is finally ready to return

8:10 as his team positions itself for the playoffs.

8:14 All right, here we go.

8:16 Third down and eight.

8:18 All right, let's go.

8:19 Bingo.

8:20 One train.

8:21 Just it's a catch and run.

8:22 They don't want the quarterback to have to hold the ball.

8:26 Okay, that's it.

8:31 How you feeling?

8:32 Good.

8:32 Real good, bud.

8:34 Moving around good.

8:35 Yeah, I told you.

8:36 I think that the beautiful part that came out of this coach,

8:38 honestly, is my my toe was locked for two years.

8:42 It was locked.

8:43 Seriously, for turf toe for two years.

8:45 I dealt with that for two years.

8:47 And now I got more freedom than I ever had in my toe than I ever had in my toe.

8:52 You know, I would get up some mornings and I'll be like,

8:53 "Oh my gosh." You know, and only, you know, I would have to adjust to it.

8:58 And now it's like I got freess totally in my toe.

9:01 Huh.

9:01 Like free after two years, you know.

9:04 So it's just amazing, you know.

9:05 I just the way God works, man.

9:07 It's amazing, coach.

9:08 Seriously.

9:09 Good deal.

9:10 Yeah, man.

9:10 All right.

9:12 Four games.

9:14 four games and you hear that famous sound.

9:16 And the Ravens are in the Super Bowl.

9:18 Lord have mercy.

9:22 Krue, if you can ever hear those sounds right there,

9:25 Krue, your life will change.

9:29 Krue, I mean, your outfit will change, Krue.

9:30 I mean, soon as they say it, as soon as they say it,

9:33 because at that point,

9:36 the whole world sits down for two teams.

9:41 Wow.

9:41 We four games away.

9:44 Four games, baby.

9:47 I have to always be careful cuz I'm a very emotional creature.

9:52 Father left.

9:53 Boom.

9:54 My mind started to wonder and say,

9:57 "Why can't daddy come be a daddy to a child

10:00 that didn't have an option to be here?

10:04 I don't want nothing from him.

10:06 I just want a phone call.

10:09 Come tell me that I'm doing all right.

10:11 Come tell me that life going to be all right.

10:14 Come tell me that even though I ain't eat the night

10:15 before that I might get a meal the next day.

10:18 Merry Christmas.

10:20 Or better yet, if you call me and tell me you going to come get me on Christmas,

10:23 stop making me sit on the curb with two pair of jeans

10:25 and one t-shirt pack when you know you ain't coming to get me.

10:29 Santa Claus about the father.

10:32 All my life I've had to create the father sound in my head.

10:38 Yeah, it's cold.

10:38 sure of being on the sidelines cheering for his son cuz I've never had that.

10:44 Now

10:46 I do fly my dad up and I can't hear his voice but I know his presence.

10:52 That was that was beautiful.

10:53 All my babies hell boy.

10:56 Yeah, daddy.

10:56 We going to have a good Christmas, man.

11:00 We gave up one touchdown today.

11:02 [cheering] Bottom line, we ate in We ate and the crib, baby.

11:06 Let's go do what we do.

11:08 [cheering] I never had, you know, my dad on the sideline,

11:13 you know, at any of my games growing up.

11:16 To have that now as a man,

11:20 even when people think as a man you don't

11:22 need that [cheering] over and over and over and over,

11:29 these emotions kept coming back.

11:33 It's like a tribe, a tribe of lions, you know, that started from dad.

11:40 No matter how much time dad wasn't there.

11:43 What's up, dog?

11:44 What's up, dog?

11:47 That capped off my holidays.

11:50 The right way.

11:52 Definitely.

11:54 And I played the longest game of Monopoly

11:56 I've ever played in my life for my kids.

11:58 Come on, man.

11:59 Let me get that St.

12:00 James.

12:00 Got me that money first.

12:01 They have this thing that they want to beat

12:03 me so bad in Monopoly and they swear I cheat.

12:05 But I do not cheat.

12:06 I got a lot of hundreds.

12:08 Look.

12:08 Exactly.

12:09 You start off with two.

12:10 I paid 180 for St.

12:12 James, man.

12:13 That's why.

12:13 So why you got that many hundreds?

12:15 That's what I want you cuz I saved my money.

12:18 You know, so they took the bank away from me

12:20 this time cuz they say I always steal money and stuff.

12:23 I save my money.

12:24 You being around the bank.

12:25 Give it here.

12:25 Cuz every time you around the bank, something just seem to happen.

12:28 I don't even know why.

12:29 Don't gain money by buying a place.

12:31 Just let you know.

12:35 This is a picture of me and Ray Lewis in God's hands.

12:40 What do you give a man who has everything?

12:45 Love.

12:45 Love.

12:47 My angel.

12:49 Oh man, this is awesome.

12:52 That's the picture I got right next to my bed.

12:55 Thank you, baby.

12:56 All right, THE BOTTOM LINE IS SIMPLE.

12:59 WHAT WOULDN'T YOU GIVE UP TODAY TO LET THE ROAD COME THROUGH BALTIMORE, MAN?

13:03 IT'S A WIN FOR THE Ravens today will give them a first round buy.

13:07 And a first ever home playoff game under John Harbaugh.

13:12 Throw tight end screen.

13:14 Dress from behind.

13:15 Ball comes loose and it is recovered by the Ravens at the 41 yd line.

13:20 Get off your Pro Bowl fullback.

13:23 That's your glory.

13:24 Follow him.

13:25 Make somebody come through [music] him, baby boy.

13:28 Leech in front of Rice.

13:30 Give it to Rice running left.

13:32 Big hole.

13:32 Bengals 40.

13:33 Run.

13:35 Run.

13:35 Raymond.

13:36 Touchdown.

13:38 Ray Rice.

13:41 So it comes down to this.

13:45 A by week on the line on the outcome of this play and incomplete.

13:51 The game IS OVER.

13:52 THE HAYES IN THE BARN AND THE RAVENS HAVE LOCKED up a by week.

13:58 And this is only the second time in 16

14:01 years that I've actually had a first round buy.

14:05 [screaming] Happy New Year.

14:09 The road come through Baltimore, baby.

14:11 Now, as a team, we're in a perfect place.

14:14 Can we finish what we started?

14:16 [laughter] It comes through Baltimore, baby.

14:20 We earned it, man.

14:21 freaking worked all year.

14:23 It's our time, man.

14:26 Coming up next,

14:27 two men were brutally stabbed to death.

14:33 Okay, [music] Harvard University.

14:48 Being from a small country town where I'm from, Lakeland,

14:53 right in between Orlando and Tampa, you've you've heard stories of Harvard.

14:59 now to be here to share part of my testimony.

15:04 1999 we was in Atlanta.

15:08 I'm walking out of the club.

15:13 It's a rough place to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

15:19 We walking out of this club.

15:21 This altercation breaks out.

15:23 It's a bunch of people out there.

15:24 These fighting break out.

15:25 My limo is the only limo that's

15:27 sitting in front of this club fighting everywhere,

15:29 everywhere, everywhere, everywhere.

15:33 Then gunshots r 14 gunshots hit the side of my limo.

15:42 We drove off.

15:44 We got back to the hotel and the message was on the news,

15:53 "We are looking for a black limousine

15:55 navigator in connection to a double homicide.

16:02 Two men were brutally stabbed to death.

16:05 Wow.

16:06 I was definitely accused of double murder.

16:08 I was falsely accused of double murder, actually.

16:12 And uh they arrested me that morning in front of all three of my sons,

16:19 which is the hardest thing to ever do is

16:22 to fight for your freedom in front of your family.

16:24 And the first night I was in jail, a whisper came to my ear and it said,

16:32 "Can you hear me now?" And that's the only time,

16:38 the real time that I heard God that clearly.

16:44 Murder charges against Ray Lewis were dropped.

16:48 I'm always disturbed in my spirit on how people look at me

16:52 from that instance because those families

16:57 that was affected will never know the truth.

17:03 And that's sad.

17:05 They still didn't find the people who died.

17:07 They never had an ounce of evidence of me.

17:11 And that's when I knew no matter where I was,

17:15 no matter how low I have been in my life, by any means necessary,

17:22 I will prove not just to myself, to my family, to my children,

17:28 to my fans, I got to [clears throat] get something done.

17:34 Because if y'all that bold to put my reputation on the line,

17:38 then I'm as bold as you are to fight for it.

17:42 And that's one thing I've always told my kids

17:44 to make sure you always fight for who you are.

17:48 You got to fight for who you are.

17:54 You ready for this workout?

17:57 No.

17:57 Wow.

17:58 All that pasta.

17:59 You should be ready for this workout.

18:00 All that pasta you say you've been eating.

18:03 We got some work to do.

18:08 Come on.

18:08 Come on.

18:09 Come on.

18:09 Come on.

18:10 Come on.

18:10 Arms.

18:11 Arms.

18:12 Arms.

18:12 Arms.

18:13 Arms.

18:13 Come on, Natalie.

18:14 Come on, Natalie.

18:15 My daughter is an animal.

18:17 [laughter] I know you don't think it's young girls and women being animals,

18:22 but my daughter's an animal.

18:24 Oh my god.

18:28 She has daddy's spirit.

18:32 Exhale.

18:33 Exhale.

18:33 Exhale.

18:34 And every time they get with daddy, they know daddy going to work.

18:38 Desiree, let's go to work, baby.

18:40 Come on.

18:43 Up three, up four.

18:45 Exhale.

18:45 I used to be doing these while crying.

18:48 So your thought process on pain changed because now

18:52 you're doing it for a whole another reason.

18:54 I was doing it because I'm like, "Daddy, okay, daddy could have popped in.

18:59 Daddy could have said something to me." You know, I'm nine.

19:02 I don't know who to call daddy.

19:04 And that developed my mindset.

19:08 No matter how bad I feel, I can get through it.

19:14 Hey, [screaming and cheering] WE AT THE CRIB, DOG.

19:16 WE AT THE CRIB, DOG.

19:18 NOBODY DEAL WITH OUR HOUSE, DOG.

19:20 [crying] LET'S BE WHO WE ARE TODAY.

19:22 LET'S BE THE RAVENS, DOG.

19:23 LET'S PLAY FAST, PHYSICAL, AND pissed off.

19:27 Black to throw, firing far side end zone.

19:29 BALDEN HAS A TOUCHDOWN right now.

19:31 [screaming] [music] Yeah.

19:35 Let me tell you something.

19:36 The best DEFENSE IN THE WORLD.

19:38 We don't GIVE UP NOTHING AT HOME.

19:39 LET'S PLAY FOOTBALL, MAN.

19:41 LET'S do what we do.

19:44 Jake the throw.

19:45 Green pass near side.

19:46 Ravens have blown up.

19:48 Get by the hill, man.

19:49 Ray Lewis tackles Arian Foster.

19:52 When you when you [music] catch this pick, they don't pitch it.

19:54 Hell no.

19:55 Steps up lost the ball far sideline.

19:57 Andre Johnson and it [music] is intercepted at the goal line by Green.

20:08 That's defense, man.

20:10 That's championship defense, man.

20:12 I want to play defense.

20:15 And the Ravens are heading to the AFC Championship.
