THIS is the Actual Idea behind Fascism
TIKhistory
0:00 the mainstream media reports a rise of the far right in Europe they
0:05 talk about the Holocaust and Germany's newly
0:08 elected afd telling us that they are
0:12 the fascists and that they are a threat to our democracy but when you
0:17 hear that musolini had a Jewish mistress for 27 years Margarita saati that there
0:23 were 10,000 Jews in the fascist party of Italy and that muscolini
0:27 and the Italian fascists also refus to deport
0:31 Jews to the National Socialist camps saving
0:34 tens of thousands of lives you then realize that national socialism is not
0:39 the same as fascism fascism is something
0:42 else and the media and even the mainstream
0:45 historians do not know what fascism is so the question then becomes if
0:52 the fascists are not racists what is the idea behind fascism what does it
0:59 actually stand for for well in this video I'm going to clearly explain
1:04 the idea behind it because it turns out that fascism is in fact a religion
1:11 some of them will deny that but it is and there's ample proof
1:15 of that and by the way it is illegal in the United Kingdom to be
1:21 hostile to a religion and so because
1:24 Fascism and national socialism are religions I
1:28 cannot auor ill will spite contempt Prejudice
1:32 unfriendliness antagonism resentment or dislike towards fascists
1:37 or national socialists therefore I will
1:40 be merely sticking to facts and disagreeing
1:44 with them on an intellectual level but you can write whatever you like
1:48 in the comment section below so to understand fascism let's go back to Italy
1:54 musolini was obviously the guy in charge
1:57 he was the driving force of the movement
2:00 but while he certainly did contribute to the ideology fascism was built upon
2:05 the ideas of Giovani Gentile Giovani Gentile
2:10 was the philosophical founder of fascism he
2:13 was the one who gave it its foundation and the core component the fundamental
2:18 base of his philosophy that all the rest of fascism is built upon is
2:24 the idea that the physical world around us is created by the human mind
2:32 yes genti said that the world around us is created by our minds now
2:39 for many of you this may seem crazy at first glance because it is
2:44 however it turns out that lots
2:46 of philosophers throughout history as well as many
2:49 people today believe in the same or similar idea these people are known
2:55 as idealists and they truly believe
2:58 that a spirit or a Consciousness creates reality
3:02 and the question is how did they come to this idea what was
3:07 their thought process that led them to such a belief well to explain this we
3:12 have to go back to the ancient Greeks heraclitus was one of the first
3:17 philosophers we know about and heraclitus was obsessed with change he believed
3:24 that everything was constantly changing you can't step into the same river twice
3:29 for fresh waters are always flowing
3:32 in the waters of the river are constantly moving
3:37 and therefore it is constantly changing it's not the same River from moment
3:42 to moment and this said heraclitus is contradictory if I take a match strike
3:50 the match and then let it burn out is it the same match yes
3:57 but also no it's different than it was before I struck it and yet it's
4:03 also the same match to heraclitus this was a contradiction and he said
4:09 that change requires contradictions after heraclitus we
4:15 get protagoras protagoras was the founder of sophism
4:19 and he agreed with heraclitus but took it a step further protagoras said
4:25 that if everything is constantly changing
4:27 and contradictory then there cannot be an objective
4:32 reality in fact we cannot even trust our senses your eyes may see one
4:39 color while someone else may see another what you think is blue I may
4:45 see is pink and nobody truly sees the world correctly everyone's got a different
4:51 Viewpoint because we all have different sensory
4:55 organs thus there is no objective reality
4:59 everything is subjective meaning each of us sees the world differently and we
5:04 live in our own private world and Plato the Christians Emanuel KH and most
5:11 of the philosophers including giovan Gentile
5:13 and the fascists agree entirely with this argument
5:18 but it's a short hop skip and jump from this idea to another if
5:24 we cannot trust our senses to give us an accurate reflection of reality
5:28 and there is no objective reality then perhaps googus said nothing exists at all
5:36 and if it did exist you couldn't know it or prove it how can
5:42 you say that what you're seeing is real if I see it differently you may
5:47 be able to touch an object but you're relying entirely on your senses
5:52 and my senses may see something different about it so we can never know
5:58 if an object truly is real or not nothing exists even if something exists
6:06 nothing can be known about it and even if something can be known about
6:10 it knowledge about it can't be
6:12 communicated to others so congratulations everyone you
6:16 don't exist now obviously this is stupid however it's one thing to point out
6:23 that something is wrong but explaining why it's wrong is a bit more difficult
6:27 and so to answer the soft s Socrates and then Plato said aha before proceeding
6:34 to come up with a highly influential philosophy known as platonism they started
6:39 talking about the concept known as universals here is a pen and here is
6:47 a different pen this particular pen has a clicker this one has a lid
6:56 or did do and yet we know that the these two different or particular
7:02 pens are pens how how does our mind know that these two different
7:10 pens are both pens well it's because Plato says we have the universal concept
7:17 of peness already in our minds each is a particular pen but peness is
7:24 the universal concept uniting the two particular
7:28 pens together and when we see the pens
7:33 our mind draws upon the knowledge we already had of peness and once
7:38 our mind has done that we then know that what we see are pens
7:44 what this then allows Plato to say is yes each pen is different
7:50 they are not the same and they are changing if I use the ink
7:54 but I can prove that they exist because they're in our minds they are
8:04 conceptually in existence our minds have peness
8:08 already baked into them and when I
8:10 see a pen-like object we know that they are pens and so we can
8:17 prove that they exist using our minds so Minds create reality which is more
8:26 or less what the fascists believe but we're not quite there yet yeah
8:30 so we know via Concepts that things exist but while this may have answered
8:37 the sophists it presented another problem I can hold these particular pens I can
8:44 feel them and see them and if I was that way inclined I could
8:48 also taste them but I can't touch penis peness doesn't exist penis is
8:55 an abstraction it's purely in the mind but how can something exist in our mind
9:02 but not exist in reality where do we draw upon the knowledge of peness
9:07 from well obviously Plato said our minds must exist in a different world
9:17 and I'm pausing for dramatic stupidity yes this is a thing according to Plato
9:23 there are two different worlds two Realms
9:26 of existence the first is this particular
9:30 World containing pens and our bodies which is a multiple changing material world
9:36 that is known only by the senses and the second world is the universal
9:42 world of peness which is one unchanging
9:47 non-material World known only by the mind
9:52 this second world is seen as perfect by Plato because unlike our imperfect world
9:59 the world of Concepts is not changing it contains the perfect unchanging pen
10:07 the perfect unchanging man the perfect unchanging
10:12 house and the perfect unchanging YouTube video which
10:16 according to this logic would be just a still photograph apparently well Plato's
10:22 world of Essences also known as Plato's world of forms is an etheral reality
10:28 that exists somewhere out there that contains all the perfect ideas that exist
10:36 and here you were thinking that it was just the fascists who were crazy clearly
10:40 Plato was higher than afran when he dreamt this nonsense of so let me
10:44 just bring together all that we've heard
10:47 so far everything is changing which means
10:51 that everything is contradictory therefore we cannot
10:54 trust our senses and when we see
10:56 the world around us we pull that information into our minds from a different
11:03 spiritual reality the concepts in this world of forms are known as universals
11:10 and one thing that I haven't said yet is that Plato said that these universals
11:16 are arranged in a hierarchy let me explain why think of a brick
11:23 this is a particular brick and this is
11:26 another particular brick together they form
11:29 a universal called brick put enough of these particular bricks together and you
11:35 get a house but notice this is one particular house and here's another we
11:42 now have a new Universal called Hess so a lot of bricks make
11:49 a smaller number of houses thus there
11:52 is a hierarchy here the brick creates heness
11:57 and because of the smaller number number of houses compared to Bricks Hess
12:01 is higher up the hierarchy and following
12:05 this logic Plato says that all universals
12:08 are arranged in a hierarchical structure that goes all the way to a single
12:16 point Plato calls this ultimate point the form of the good which he says
12:23 everything else is aiming at it then becomes the thing that everything is
12:29 created from and so this is basically God although Plato's form of the good
12:37 is only Universal goodness at this stage it has no plan no will
12:42 and no awareness so it's not God yet only later would it get a personality
12:47 and thus become God in the meantime Plato said that another God known
12:52 as the demuros meaning Craftsman or Artisan
12:57 looked at this Universal goodness plus the world
13:01 of forms with one eye and then created the world of particulars that we
13:06 live in using the other eye this was therefore an early form of creationism
13:14 so let's just think this through a second this reality is created
13:19 by a God be he the Demis or the Christian God or whatever a god
13:23 of some kind creates reality and what is a god a Consciousness God
13:31 in the Christian sense is the ultimate Consciousness
13:33 but it's a Consciousness nonetheless so a conscious
13:36 mind has created reality Mind Over Matter therefore when I said at the beginning
13:42 that the fascists and Giovani Gentile believe
13:45 that human Minds create reality the only difference between them and Plato
13:51 and the Christians is who creates reality obviously
13:55 the Christians would say that God creates reality while genti would say it was
14:00 us who create reality but regardless some kind of Consciousness creates reality
14:05 and that concept of Consciousness creating reality
14:08 is known as idealism the ideal is some
14:13 kind of spiritual conscious mind that creates
14:18 reality idealism in philosophy is any view
14:22 that stresses the central role of the ideal
14:24 or the spiritual in the interpretation
14:27 of experience it may hold that the world or reality exists essentially as Spirit
14:33 or Consciousness that abstractions and laws
14:35 are more fundamental in reality than sensory
14:38 things or at least that whatever exists is known in Dimensions that are chiefly
14:44 mental through and as ideas and because the mind is seen as rational Plato's
14:52 particular theory of knowledge epistemology is known
14:55 as rationalism so the idea that the mind
14:59 creates reality is idealism and the idea that knowledge comes from the rational
15:06 thought of the mind is known as rationalism but some people rejected this theory
15:13 of knowledge at least in part saying that instead of the mind we should
15:18 rely entirely on what we can sense what we can see with our eyes
15:23 and our hands Etc men are physical things and so we can confirm
15:30 our own existence by simply relying on our senses I can see myself I
15:35 can put my hand on my arm therefore I exist and this idea of experiencing
15:42 something with our senses in order
15:44 to confirm its existence is known as empiricism most of modern Science is based
15:51 on empiricism history theory is based on empiricism
15:56 at least it was until recently the IDE a that you should just
16:00 stick to the facts that if only you were a blank slate a Tabler
16:05 Asser you could get to the truth because as we all know rocks write
16:10 the best history books the idea that you should not dare say the words
16:15 I think when writing an essay nope that's a deadly sin this all
16:19 comes from empiricism you should just observe things not think about it and just
16:25 repeat what you see or hear Thou shalt not have a personal ity
16:29 you are just a robot and there is no knowledge outside of what we
16:32 can sense I'm not going to go through the entire history of imperialism
16:37 but I'll just briefly run through some
16:39 names for those who are curious imperialism technically
16:43 has its Origins with the atomists
16:46 of ancient Greece specifically Democritus and epicurus who
16:50 came up with materialism imperialism was developed
16:54 further by Aristotle solidified by the likes
16:58 of Thomas Hall John Lock and then championed much later by Berkeley and Hume
17:04 and the most important thing to note here is that there are two
17:08 distinct groups of people throughout history
17:12 on the one hand we have the empiricists who rely entirely on what they cons
17:16 sense particular things and the rationalists who
17:20 believe that our knowledge comes from a world that we cannot see the universals
17:27 all the philosophers open Hume could be
17:30 categorized into these two camps the ones
17:33 who are sense orientated the imperialists
17:36 and the ones who are concept orientated
17:39 the rationalists Hume and his disciples took
17:44 empiricism to its most logical conclusion which
17:47 ended up being an attack upon reason in the name of Reason hume's argument
17:53 was that there were no universals at all only particulars there was no such
18:00 thing as peness only pens there is only what we see or observe
18:08 there is a brick and there is a house and there is a man
18:12 but there is no brick no heness no manness there are only individual men
18:19 every man is an island this idea is known as nominalism and Hume was
18:26 an arch nominalist and sensualist any form of concept is thrown out and he
18:32 takes it to the extreme Society doesn't exist and neither do ourselves your body
18:39 exists but your mind your Consciousness your spirit does not how can it
18:46 do nobody else can feel your mind nobody else can sense it you have
18:52 a body but you don't have a physical self or Spirit the self
18:58 health is a concept and therefore it doesn't exist and so in the name
19:06 of Reason Hume denied things that obviously exist in reality but which can't be
19:13 justified by sense perception alone in doing so Hume opened the door to Emmanuel
19:20 Kant who inherits hume's disintegrated Universe
19:24 of particulars without any concepts connecting them together
19:28 so what does Kant do Kant rejects both of the old categories of philosophers
19:35 and says we've been doing it all wrong he says does it really
19:40 matter if we can know reality or not if we can't know reality let's
19:45 just dispense with reality all together can't
19:49 therefore decides to put the universe back
19:52 together and the way he does it is by performing a synthesis Hume left
19:58 does with a universe like Humpty Dumpty after the fall K is going
20:03 to synthesize the fragments and give us
20:05 an intelligible world again between the physical world
20:09 and our Consciousness says Kant there is a complex machine called The Mind
20:16 our mind he says synthesizes everything together before it gives us the data so
20:22 knowledge doesn't come from our senses and it doesn't come from our Concepts it
20:27 comes from the structure of the Mind itself in other words our mind is
20:34 what creates reality there you go giovan gtii was not the first to say
20:40 this he didn't just make it up Emmanuel Kant had said it first
20:45 and note it's the structure of the mind that determines how you think
20:51 and act thus if you are born with a bad mind then you will be
20:58 B bad you cannot change the structure of your mind you're stuck with it
21:04 and I'm sure some of you can see some problems with that uh
21:09 this is the philosophical basis for modern
21:11 racism for example K's philosophy is known
21:15 as transcendental idealism meaning spiritual idealism
21:21 or the spiritual mind creates reality after can't
21:26 we get Hegel and Hegel threw out reality Al together Hegel and Kant
21:34 were both trying to prove that God exists because they were both htics according
21:42 to the hermatic God is like Plato's God God doesn't know he's God he's
21:50 just the highest point in the hierarchy
21:52 who's ignorant of his own reality his own
21:55 identity therefore Hegel proposes that this God which he calls the spirit
22:01 or the absolute is driven by the need to discover its own identity God has
22:08 to discover that there isn't anything else
22:11 except himself so God creates the material
22:17 world as a mirror because in order for God to know himself he has
22:24 to see himself from the point of view of someone else so he creates
22:31 Mankind in order to use mankind to look at himself and realize that he's
22:36 God Mankind's purpose according to Hegel and the hermeticist is to act
22:41 as a mirror to reflect the image of God back at God and when all
22:46 of mankind is United as one in one giant State they become the giant
22:51 mirror that's needed to reflect God when mankind is United God will see himself
22:58 and become complete well Hegel thought using
23:03 his dialectical idealism that he had figured
23:07 it all out hegel's Consciousness had discovered the truth he thought and so when
23:15 he died heans genuinely believed that God now knew the truth and therefore many
23:23 hegelians decided that there was nothing else left to do but sit around doing
23:29 nothing because the material world was about to go out of existence at any
23:36 moment so they waited a while and then some of them started to have
23:42 doubts the hegelians split into two groups those who still believed in Hegel
23:47 and those that thought that while
23:50 his teachings were correct his conclusions were wrong
23:55 this latter group was known as The Young hegelians from this group we get
24:00 two important people the first is ludvig
24:03 fback who directly influenced KL Marx Marx
24:07 developed his philosophy which is called dialectical
24:11 materialism and from Hegel we also get Pando spaventa from spaventa we then get
24:19 Giovani Gentile the philosophical founder of fascism
24:22 with his philosophy actual idealism so
24:27 let's just run through everything that we've
24:29 just heard so that we're all clear on what's going on everything is changing
24:34 which means that everything is contradictory therefore
24:38 we cannot trust our senses and when
24:40 we see the world around us we pull that information into our minds
24:45 from a different spiritual reality the concepts
24:50 in this spiritual reality are known as universals these universals are arranged
24:57 in a hierarchy with the tip of the hierarchy
25:02 being the ultimate good this later becomes the concept of God God is
25:09 a Consciousness that creates material reality
25:13 and at least according to Hegel who's getting
25:15 this from Plato and the hermatic ists
25:18 is unconscious that's right God is a Consciousness
25:24 that is unconscious Hegel then said If We Hold up a mirror to God
25:30 God will realize he is God and we will all be United with him
25:37 after Hegel dies there is a split in his followers from which we
25:41 then get KL Marx and the marxists and Giovani Gentile with the fascists idealism
25:49 is the idea that reality is created
25:51 by Consciousness K's philosophy was called transcendental
25:57 idealism the spiritual mind creates reality following
26:01 this hegel's philosophy was known as dialectical
26:05 idealism the Transcendent mind creates reality
26:10 and then there was a split with Marx
26:13 coming up with dialectical materialism the Transcendence
26:17 of this fake material reality and note
26:21 he gets the dialectic from Hegel and the materialism from the empiricists and we
26:26 also get G genti with actual idealism the idealism part he gets from Hegel
26:33 and I'll explain what actual idealism is in a second but the point
26:38 here the important Point here is that the reason the fascists and the marxists
26:43 hate each other isn't because they're opposites
26:47 no the reason they hate each other is because they're competing on the same
26:54 ground they're both trying to reawaken God
26:58 but in their own way and so they're competing with each other for your spiritual
27:04 belief the Marxist believe that they need to unite the world to get
27:10 to God whereas the fascists believe they can reawaken God with just a nation
27:16 one is international the other is National but even that's not true because
27:22 some fascists are international so these are
27:26 just different variants of the same religion
27:29 like Protestants and Catholics and that's why they hate each other but as I
27:33 said from Hegel we get the trenos
27:36 prenta and then Giovani Gentile the philosophical
27:39 founder of fascism but what does gentile
27:44 believe well giovan genti borrowed a concept
27:47 from Berkeley saying that objects outside
27:50 of our Consciousness are self-contradictory the idea
27:55 goes that things do not exist until we sense them said differently I look
28:05 at something and that's when it appears thus when we sense them these things
28:14 aren't there in the outside world oh no they're actually in our minds
28:22 we see them and they become part of our consciousness they're not real they're
28:30 not out there they're just ideas in our minds and so the world does
28:37 not exist it cannot exist without the Mind reality is conceivable only in so
28:44 far as the reality conceived is in relation to the activity which conceives it
28:50 and in that relation it is not only a possible object of knowledge it
28:54 is a present and actual one to conceive reality is to conceive at the same
29:01 time and as one with it the mind in which that reality is
29:05 represented and therefore the concept
29:08 of a material reality is absurd another way
29:12 of thinking about this if a tree falls in the woods and no one's
29:17 around to hear it does it make a sound well genti's answer is
29:23 that if nobody's seen the tree before then it doesn't exist in the first place
29:32 only when someone is able to look at something or detect it does
29:38 it exist it's sort of like when scientists try to look at subatomic particles
29:45 the mere Act of looking at them changes their behavior well giovan genti would
29:51 say it's not that looking at them changes their behavior it's that they don't
29:55 exist until you look at them you're creating them by looking at them
30:02 the empiricist said we see it therefore we know it to be real taking
30:08 his cue from Hegel genti concluded that the external world is a fiction it
30:15 cannot be proven to exist because everything
30:18 is created by the mind we essentially
30:23 dream it up and our senses sense the dream so nothing thing is actually
30:29 real it's all in our heads whatever is found is either invented or constructed
30:37 by thought and can be nothing other
30:40 than thought for the modern scientist natural
30:44 or mathematical science is not imagined
30:47 to be a representation of an independent reality
30:50 but a construction fashioned by the spirit
30:55 nothing transcends thought thought is absolute
31:00 imminence it is a reality which waits for us to construct a reality which
31:06 is true even now of love and will because it is the inward effort
31:12 of the Soul its living process not its ideal and external model it is
31:17 man himself who rises above humanity and becomes God and even God is no
31:24 longer a reality who already is but the God who is begotten in us
31:31 and is ourselves in so far as we with our whole being rise
31:36 to him here mind is no longer intellect but will the world is no
31:43 longer what is known but what is made and therefore not only can
31:49 we begin to conceive the mind as Freedom or moral activity but the world
31:55 the whole world of the Christian is freed and redeemed the whole world is
32:00 a world which is what it would be or a world as we say
32:05 essentially moral we may say of spiritual
32:09 reality what the great Christian writers have
32:12 said of God whoever seeks him shall find him but to find spiritual reality
32:20 one must be willing to put his whole being into the search as though
32:24 he would satisfy the deepest needs of his own life life therefore faith is
32:30 a virtue and supposes love in this lies the Folly of the atheist
32:36 dams that the existence of God should be proved to him without his being
32:41 relieved of his atheism equally fatuous is
32:45 the materialist denial of spiritual reality he
32:49 would have the philosopher show him spirit in nature nature which by its very
32:56 definition is the absence of mind so
33:00 idealism is the philosophy that says objects
33:03 in the world are ideas ideals or spiritual Concepts it says they only exist
33:11 in the mind of God or the people who see them reality is nothing
33:17 other than a spiritual consciousness genti's philosophy
33:21 is called actual idealism with the word
33:24 actual substituting the word total actual
33:29 idealism is total idealism or the totality
33:33 of the Mind creating reality it's mind over everything it's not just mind over
33:41 matter it's matter doesn't exist it's all in our minds whatever is is nothing
33:50 it becomes something by becoming Spirit self-consciousness
33:55 the whole creation of the universe is
33:57 here in the self creation of the spirit now it must be stressed
34:03 that Gentile believed that this process happens collectively if I go into a new
34:09 area of the woods and find a rock my mind has created that rock
34:14 but your mind also receives that Rock's existence remotely so that when you go
34:21 into the woods you will see that rock too I created it and then
34:26 it was shared spiritually with you
34:29 so it's a collective spirituality things don't
34:33 exist until a human sees it but when a human sees it we all
34:37 collectively share it spiritually genely then says
34:41 look guys we're all connected spiritually we're
34:44 all social creatures we're all connected together by our minds and our spirit
34:51 therefore we should all unite together so
34:56 for gentiy the spiritual connection we all
34:59 share justifies his collectivism and because we're
35:04 all connected we should he says create
35:07 an ethical state that benefits the whole of the community and getting a bit
35:13 technical here plus also annoying some people genti said that the human being
35:19 was not an atom being hegelian and dialectic Gentile said that the ego required
35:27 a non-ego thus humans were in fact made of two beings yourself and a partner
35:35 a nonself and together they are a society a third thing within ourselves
35:43 the third position from this the synthesis
35:46 was a transcendental ego a spiritual ego
35:51 so we have ourselves our non selves and our spiritual selves in other words
35:57 every human being was actually a society
36:01 of three a transcendental Society a spiritual
36:05 Society the reason why this might be
36:08 controversial is because it was between 1912
36:11 and 1916 that Gentile laid out his actual idealism and I could be wrong
36:18 here but it looks like Giovani Gentile beat Carl Young to the dialectical egoism
36:23 idea plus the collective unconsciousness idea which
36:27 seems to have come up with in 1916
36:31 or maybe they were bouncing ideas off each other I'm not sure because
36:34 I can't read Italian to confirm the dates with genti but it looks like
36:38 they came to the same conclusion at about the same time and Jung was
36:43 also a disciple of Freud who came from ludic fback and then Hegel so
36:49 I wanted to point this out because modern psychology is based on a hermetic
36:54 hegelian spirituality that believes that we are split into a Holy Trinity it's
37:01 not based on science it's not based on reason it's based on religion that's
37:08 the reason why modern psychologists tend
37:10 to come out with weird and wacky theories
37:13 because they're just spiritualists anyway to really
37:17 boil down Giovani gentile's philosophy to its most basic elements genti believed
37:23 that the mind creates reality therefore it's down
37:27 to us to shape our world for ourselves we are in total control over
37:33 our lives and of the world around us which we can actively change through
37:40 action which is why fascist leader Oswald Mosley was a big fan of the word
37:45 action in Britain and then using the dialectic genti says we are all
37:51 social creatures we're all socially connected
37:55 and therefore we should create an ethical state
37:59 that benefits the whole of the community the nation for genti was not
38:04 merely a bunch of individuals brought together by a common cause a concept he
38:09 called immoral the nation he said United everyone together in one state one
38:16 superc Consciousness and it is through
38:20 the state and the nation that the individual
38:24 makes himself individualism and egoism he said
38:28 were problems to be overcome and Gentile
38:32 said that true self-fulfillment can only be
38:36 attained by becoming one with the state
38:39 and the historic Community one crucial point to take away from all this is
38:44 that while we are connected spiritually genti
38:47 recognized that the individual was an independent
38:51 Consciousness this is in contrast to KL Marx who said that there was no
38:54 individual at all according to mark marks the individual as such is not real
39:01 only the social individual is real the individual outside society and history is
39:07 an abstraction the essence of man cannot
39:10 be determined other than as a species determined
39:14 by the totality of social relations man for Marx was in essence not
39:21 an individual but a communal being an assessment
39:25 that was an unmistaken aable hegelian influence
39:30 this is where Marx's tribalism comes
39:32 from Marx used materialism to divide Humanity
39:36 into classes genders and races which he
39:39 then pitted against each other in a bitter struggle for his own Amusement genti
39:44 rejected this view saying that the individual
39:47 was a spiritual being who could only Truly find himself if he was
39:52 absorbed into a community the nation state man for genti couldn't exist outside
40:00 of a community because man was at his heart a communal being and I
40:06 absolutely need to point this out actual
40:10 idealists believe that your mind creates reality
40:14 your mind your Consciousness creates your physical
40:17 material body racism therefore doesn't make sense
40:24 to an actual idealist the material world is an illusion created by your mind
40:33 it's your mind that matters not your body so even if your material body
40:40 is bad even if your material blood is bad then all you need
40:45 to do is convert your mind over to the good side and you're good actual
40:53 idealism fundamentally rejects materialism and determinism making
41:00 racism impossible as one of giovan gen students said all human beings deserve
41:09 our respect if only because they are human
41:12 and carry as we do the mark of divine creation so this is why
41:18 the Original Italian fascists including muscolini
41:21 and giovan genti were not racists at least
41:25 until the late 1930s when Hitler came long muscolini had a Jewish mistress
41:29 for 27 years Margarita saati there were
41:32 10,000 Jews in the fascist party of Italy
41:34 there was no mention of racism in the doctrine of fascism written by genti
41:39 and signed by musolini and in 1937 Gentile even wrote a piece saying
41:45 that German anti-Semitism was a monstrous barbarism
41:50 that was in appropriate to civilized society
41:54 before the late 1930s melini had had
41:57 never betrayed any evidence of anti-Semitism until
42:01 that time in fact fascist Italy had
42:04 provided more refuge for Jews fleeing national
42:07 socialism than almost any other Nation musolini
42:11 had not written an Italian mine Camp
42:14 he had no master plan nor did he believe in a master race
42:18 or detest the Jews but after falling in with Hitler in the late 1930s
42:25 musolini had to adopt some form
42:27 of anti-Semitism so the manifesto of fascist racism
42:32 was published on the 15th of July 1938 this legislation barred Jews from schools
42:40 and universities the armed forces and from State Employment however we must also
42:46 acknowledge that even though they used biological
42:49 language in the law they actually Define
42:52 the Jewish race on religious grounds not
42:55 biology this was a religious type of anti-Semitism
43:00 not biological and in fact many Jews were exempt from the law and you
43:07 could convert from being Jewish to being Italian which is why not a single
43:11 Jewish person was murdered by muselin
43:13 fascist Italy these exemptions were a clear
43:17 reflection of why the fascists objected to the Jews what counted was Spirit not
43:23 race fascist anti-Semitism was therefore akin
43:27 to the hatred of the Infidel of non-believers
43:31 but a Jew could embrace the fascist Faith convert of fascism if he so
43:37 chose whatever evidence is available suggests
43:40 that both fascists and non fascists alike were
43:44 surprised by the regime's decision to embark on racism of whatever sort to all
43:50 those Italians in any way involved
43:53 with the issue the immediate threat of anti-semitism
43:57 was more than disconcerting Italy's 45
44:01 or 50,000 Jews were well assimilated the number
44:05 of Italian Jews who were members of the fascist party exceeded their ratio
44:10 in the population and it is clear that for years musolini considered Italian
44:15 Jews facilitators of Italian culture to the outside world and to round this off
44:22 a significant number of Italian and foreign
44:24 Jews later testified to Giovani genti assistance
44:27 and support to Jewish refugees in Hitler's eyes if you are born Jewish you're
44:35 Jewish there's nothing you can do about that you have the magic Jewish blood
44:40 and therefore you're bad for the Italian
44:44 fascists the original fascists with their actual
44:47 idealism the mind creates reality so if you are Jewish you can change
44:55 your mind that is the fundamental difference
45:00 between fascism and national socialism national socialism
45:03 requires racism it's built into the ideology
45:07 at a fundamental philosophical level in the original
45:11 fascism biological racism is not there at all it may contain a religious
45:19 anti-Semitism towards the end although it was
45:21 anti- Catholic too because it wants everyone
45:23 to convert to Fascism which is a religion in and of itself but it's
45:27 not biological racism and that is
45:31 a vitally important distinction thus fascism and national
45:36 socialism are not the same they are
45:40 two fundamentally different ideologies one is biologically
45:44 racist the other is not and they only get lumped together partly because
45:49 of the language barrier not as many
45:51 people could speak Italian as German and mostly
45:54 because of marxist and Soviet propaganda that is the reason why you're not
46:00 allowed to know what fascism really is because it's competing on the same ground
46:06 as Marxism and just in case it wasn't clear no I'm not a fascist
46:13 no I don't believe the world was created by the human mind and no
46:17 I'm not a totalitarian I'm not defending fascism or anything else like that I
46:22 am merely explaining the ideology as accurately as I can as a his historian
46:28 and this then leads us to the totalitarian idea genti said that man
46:33 couldn't exist outside of a community because man was at his heart a communal
46:39 being this is the idea of the universals as we heard before the particulars
46:45 must become universals man must become
46:49 manness and how does manness manifest itself
46:53 in the real world the state for genti the state was the physical
47:00 manifestation of the universal for men manness man is the state the state is
47:10 man for fascism the state and the individual are one or better perhaps State
47:18 and individual are terms that are inseparable
47:21 in a necessary synthesis the state is
47:26 within us mature alive and of necessity living and growing and expanding
47:32 and elevating itself in dignity and conscious of itself and of its high duties
47:38 and the grand goals to which it is called in our will in our thought
47:43 and in our passions the individual develops and the state develops as zultan
47:50 a modern fascist States this Dynamic self-determining
47:55 process of reality where Consciousness and materiality
47:59 are synthesized brings forth the Perpetual becoming
48:04 of absolute spirit with the corporate State
48:07 as the living actualization of this philosophical
48:11 Evolution gentiy implements this through his practice
48:15 of thought and action the fascist State
48:19 therefore as distinct from the Nationalist state
48:23 is an entirely spiritual creation it is national state because from the point
48:29 of view of fascism it is the result of spiritual action rather than
48:34 a presupposition but this state that realizes
48:38 itself in the Consciousness and will of the individual rather than being imposed
48:44 from on high cannot have the same relationship
48:48 with the people imagined by nationalism
48:51 the Nationalist state was an aristocratic state
48:55 that constructed it self out of the force it inherited from its origin that made
49:01 it valued by the masses the fascist State on the other hand is
49:05 a popular state and in that sense
49:09 a democratic State par Excellence let's just think
49:14 about this for a second manness is the state and if the state is
49:21 us and we are the state then the state is is democratic the state
49:30 is us we are the state I mean you can't get more democratic
49:35 than that can you so Gentile says the fascist state is a democratic State
49:41 par excellence and it is if we're all connected spiritually then the state is
49:49 us and we are the state it doesn't represent us it is us it's
49:54 direct democracy so if you're sitting there
49:58 saying well you're a Democrat and and you're
50:01 for democracy fascism is the ultimate form of democracy and you might say
50:10 no but fascism is a threat to our democracy no it is democracy
50:18 and now you know why some people are fanatical in their fascism they're fighting
50:26 for fre Freedom they're fighting for real
50:28 democracy just as you're willing to fight
50:31 for your democracy they're willing to fight just as hard for theirs so let's
50:36 bring this all together now the Original
50:39 Italian fascism was not only Democratic it
50:41 was real democracy and it wasn't biologically
50:44 racist either the reason why was because
50:48 its philosophy actual idealism developed by giovan
50:52 genti said that man is a spiritual
50:54 communal being who shapes reality in his mind and I know for a fact
51:00 that the vast majority of the people watching this believe in democracy believe
51:06 that a man is a communal being believe that the strong State Should intervene
51:11 in the market on behalf of society and that a consciousness of some kind
51:17 has created reality well you are completely
51:22 vulnerable completely defenseless you have no C
51:26 to this and that's the reason why the mainstream media and the marxists
51:32 and the liberal Elite don't want you
51:35 to know what fascism is because you're totally
51:38 exposed to it it is for the People by the people because it is
51:44 the people it is not conservative it
51:47 is revolutionary it is nationalism and socialism
51:51 and a fasio was a trade Union in Italy so the word fascism itself
51:56 means trade unionism syndicalism and fascism is
51:59 defined as the totalitarian cooperative and ethical
52:05 State the final collectivist synthesis of nationalism
52:10 syndicalism and actualism actualism is just the old word for actual idealism so
52:16 it's three things in unison nationalism syndicalism
52:20 which is trade unionism and actual idealism the totality of the human mind
52:25 a simple nationalist does not believe that the world is created by the minds
52:29 of men a nationalist may also not believe in trade unionism syndicalism and may
52:35 not believe in the corporate State
52:37 the Trade union state and conservatives who want
52:41 things to remain as they are perhaps with an oligarchy or an aristocracy
52:45 these people are not fascists either neither
52:47 are religious people like Jordan Peterson it
52:50 may be many things but he's not a fascist and this brings us
52:54 right back to the beginning mainstream media reports a rise of the far right
53:00 in Europe and perhaps this is true but fascists are not far right they
53:05 are third positionist the media talks about
53:09 the Holocaust but the Italian fascists didn't
53:12 participate in the Holocaust and in fact they did their best to protect
53:16 the Jews in Italy the media also says Germany's newly elected afd is a threat
53:23 to our democracy Maybe but from what
53:27 I've read They're not actual idealists they're
53:29 not fascists neither is the whole of northern England Mr starma so they're not
53:36 fascist but fascism may still be on the rise since many people are totally
53:41 exposed and open to their ideas and if you are concerned with the rise
53:46 of fascism and or want to know how to combat the ideas of actual
53:51 fascism then you're in the right place my intention is to create a series
53:56 of vide videos detailing what Fascism
53:58 and national socialism are precisely defining them
54:01 just like I've done here so that we're absolutely certain we know what they
54:05 are and then my intention is to show you exactly why these ideologies
54:09 are not just incorrect but unethical and deeply flawed and I won't be arguing
54:16 oh they're just racists and bigots that's not where I'm going to come
54:19 from I will be systematically deconstructing these ideologies
54:24 at their root no the Mind does not make reality altruism is evil materialism
54:33 idealism empirism and dialectics are all nonsense
54:38 that's where I'm going to come from so I encourage you to subscribe if
54:42 you haven't done so already and in the meantime check out my other videos
54:46 on Fascism and national socialism here thanks
54:49 for watching and supporting bye for now
