15:37 We'll be qualifying some teams straight into Atlanta

15:40 where they'll be competing for a price over $100,000.

15:52 North America is my home and therefore it's my favorite region.

15:55 So that means I get to start on the desk with you

15:57 and I'm excited to talk about some of the top teams in the competition.

16:01 And Nick was probably going to have something to say about

16:02 that, but we got a little bit before we hear from him.

16:05 But Tiff, we get to hear from you now.

16:06 How's everything going?

16:07 Hey, it's absolutely great.

16:08 I feel like we need to save a lot of that NAEU

16:10 once we get to the Atlanta area in just a few weeks,

16:14 but honestly, we got to find some teams to get there first.

16:17 Well, let's talk EU first.

16:18 Dream Hack Birmingham was a whirlwind.

16:21 incredibly exciting to watch and it was Falcons go who ended up flying high.

16:25 Yeah, Falcons top team on the day.

16:26 It was a great competition frankly and I think the big

16:28 question mark when we were going into Birmingham was seeing the dominance

16:31 from some of our top teams in EU if they could compete

16:35 with some of the top teams in NA or vice versa, right?

16:37 And the Falcons end up winning out but also frankly NA end up winning out taking

16:42 three spots I believe the EWC plus that Los Curillo uh squad that also makes it.

16:48 It's only Ravens Esports from EU that makes it.

16:51 But the fight for Falcons was all from boat at the south side of the map.

16:54 They dominated the south side of the map

16:56 all the way through the land competition

16:58 and they had a lot of words to say about how it all went down

17:01 as they typically do.

17:02 Tiff.

17:03 Yeah, you know, there are definitely some loudmouth players on that team, right?

17:09 Like I'm okay with that.

17:10 I love some banter.

17:12 I love the passion [music] when you get

17:13 on to lane and you just have the capabilities.

17:15 But what I think about the most when it came to the Falcons

17:17 was that final interview that we got after they had reclaimed

17:20 their win on land and for some of the players that you know

17:23 are like finally because for SOA second place isn't going to cut it.

17:28 For Donkey and Noobs getting that taste of victory

17:30 again like that is what they're looking for.

17:32 They want to make sure they can do it again

17:33 in Atlanta and then reclaim [music] an EWC champ from Twisted Minds.

17:38 That's right.

17:39 It was Falcons taking the overall win after 11 games.

17:42 They closing out match points, but of course it was Twisted Minds,

17:45 Los Curios, and Ravens Esport making it through.

17:47 But let's not forget Verdice Pro fifth place.

17:50 They were just outside the bubble.

17:52 However, they qualified because Twisted Minds,

17:54 the returning champions, already have their spot locked in.

17:57 So, Verdice Pro competing today will already be at EWC,

18:01 but of course, they're going for a little bit more money.

18:04 Nothing wrong with that.

18:05 We're talking $100,000 still for the Atlanta competition.

18:08 Beautifully done, Go.

18:10 Listen, I I'm really excited to see what Verd Pro can do today,

18:13 but I I think just in general as we think

18:15 about kind of turn our eyes towards this Atlanta land event.

18:18 You have to think back on EU.

18:20 Have to think about how yesterday went because it's the same

18:23 story for a team like Ravens Esports that dominated the competition.

18:26 They already have a spot to EWC.

18:28 They're the only team that has a spot

18:29 to EWC from the EU region and then they're just,

18:33 you know, winning their qualifier.

18:34 They're making it to Atlanta just trying to win more cash.

18:37 That's right.

18:37 Ravens phenomenal.

18:39 so much confidence in their corner.

18:40 We'll be covering them in just a second.

18:42 First though, let's recap what it takes to get all the way to EWC.

18:49 Welcome back to the 2026 War Zone Resurgent Series.

18:53 There was quite a road to get to where we are now.

18:56 What routes did we take?

18:57 Let's break it down.

18:58 The Atlanta split began as an open qualifier

19:01 available to all players in North America and Europe.

19:04 The top 32 teams from the open qualls were split

19:07 into two groups of 16 based off of their performance.

19:10 The top 16 progressed to upper round one while

19:14 the bottom 16 were placed in lower round one.

19:17 From there, the top eight teams from each round moved on while the bottom eight

19:22 teams either fell to lower round two

19:24 or were eliminated if already in the lower bracket.

19:28 Today we stand at the qualifier finals where the top

19:31 five teams from each region will book their tickets

19:34 to the land finals at Dream Hack Atlanta

19:37 with a chance to make it out to EWC this summer.

19:40 Desk, take it away.

19:44 It's $1.2 million guaranteed.

19:47 A million dollars at EWC, but they threw in a little bonus.

19:50 Birmingham 100,000.

19:51 Atlanta also another $100,000.

19:55 We're talking 30,000 for first place.

19:57 It's a tremendous amount of money.

19:58 And the cherry on top for those teams who have already qualified for EWC,

20:02 they'll be shooting for gold.

20:04 And a little bit more money never hurt anybody.

20:06 At least uh at least in my ballpark, it never hurt anybody.

20:09 Hey, when we're talking about it though, a lot of money on the line,

20:11 but more importantly, EU was absolutely dominant yesterday.

20:15 They were the region that ended up competing

20:16 in Ravens with zero pressure on their shoulders.

20:20 Ended up showing everybody why they are one

20:22 of the only EU teams to qualify for EWC.

20:25 Go.

20:26 Yeah.

20:26 Ravens Esports, I was just mentioning them before,

20:28 the only team to make it to EWC already.

20:30 And yeah, you're right.

20:31 I think they had zero pressure and therefore they could

20:33 just fly around the map and do whatever they wanted.

20:35 One of the reasons for that, of course,

20:37 is that they get Mansion for free all the way until

20:39 like Final Circle when T1 finally decides to try to contest them.

20:43 But this Ravens Esports team was very aggressive.

20:46 The difference between T1 and Ravens today

20:48 was that Ravens without that burner responsibility

20:50 of worrying about making the EC maybe or just because they're just that good.

20:55 They were able to play extremely aggressive.

20:57 Got the wins that they wanted.

20:59 Didn't win every single map, but they had so many dang kills.

21:03 It was unbelievable.

21:04 Had some banger maps.

21:05 Biggest map of the day I think was well past 50 points at one point.

21:09 Uh it was really unbelievable.

21:10 And they didn't get contested at all to be very clear.

21:12 T1 also a great day, a strong day, a top team for good reason.

21:17 They had pretty much free and clear victory as well.

21:19 Uncontested for the most part.

21:20 A couple teams tried to chalk them, but they were able to win out regardless.

21:23 So, T1, Ravens Esports at the top,

21:25 but it didn't it didn't really end there, right?

21:28 We had nailbiting performances for those bubble teams.

21:32 You know, huge shout out to Novo and what they were able

21:34 to do kind of playing inside the top five the entire day today,

21:37 but the bubble was insane, especially as we got towards the end with Gentle

21:41 Mates and a couple of these other rosters.

21:43 Yeah, Tiff, that final game, Gentle Mates barely skating through.

21:46 Yeah, you could say barely.

21:48 Again, the timeline was flooded with all

21:49 the French fans talking about how close it was

21:52 considering it was almost as if they hadn't

21:54 even played the complete start of our tournament.

21:56 I'm talking a 15th place, a slew of sevens, eighth, 14th, 16th, like disgusting.

22:00 They end that tournament with three second place finishes that allow

22:04 them to skirt by by just a handful of points.

22:07 So, it would have been a really weird experience.

22:09 They would have had to fight through the open, of course,

22:11 but I'm glad that they were able to secure

22:13 their ticket for Dream Hack Atlanta based off that.

22:15 For the other teams that were fighting,

22:17 Ninjas and Pajamas, VAB, GK Esports, and Lotus 8,

22:20 they all had some really strong moments,

22:22 but to not be able to close it out, like, look, don't take it too hard.

22:27 Show up to the open, hit the grind.

22:28 We want to [music] see you throw it down again.

22:30 It was so close.

22:31 I'm just staring at those scores because of how close it was.

22:34 Reminder, by the way, Gentle Mates going into the last two games were

22:39 in 12th place and they end up in fourth.

22:41 And by the way, reminder,

22:43 last game where they're able to grab that quick buyback,

22:45 Inkyo hits the ground with the pistol, gets the extra kill.

22:48 That was the difference on them calling or not.

22:50 Crazy stuff yesterday.

22:51 Go back and watch it if you haven't.

22:53 Crazy stuff indeed.

22:54 That final game was nutty and it came down to the final zone.

22:58 Let's talk North America, though.

22:59 That's what today is all about.

23:00 And the heavy hitters are joining,

23:02 including the returning champions of Twisted [music] Minds.

23:04 Falcons ended up dominating in Birmingham.

23:06 They look to dominate again today.

23:09 You talk about no pressure on Raven shoulders.

23:11 Well, for team Falcons, they absolutely have no pressure,

23:15 but we've got a lot of heavy hitters here.

23:17 And one team that I want to hone in on, Tiff, let's talk Verdice Pro.

23:21 Yeah, of course.

23:21 Grimy, Destroy, Adrian, a solid trio that I think deserves some shout outs.

23:26 came through on that upper bracket and looked pretty strong in my opinion.

23:30 However, one map in particular, guys, that's right,

23:34 this whole split two, the leading road to Dream Hack Atlanta,

23:37 we have introduced Rebirth [music] Island back into the mix with Havens Hollow.

23:41 So, watching their performances throughout both

23:43 those maps is going to be difficult.

23:45 They're definitely way stronger when it

23:46 comes to playing on [music] Haven's Hollow.

23:48 And we know what that looks like.

23:49 Destroy was definitely popping off supposedly saying that he was going

23:53 to be able to go maybe land over by train station,

23:56 do some contests if he feels kind of frisky,

23:58 but for now he's going to be landing over by research center,

24:01 the server side of things and focus on getting the most points there.

24:05 Over a hundred points came from playing on or on Rebirth Island.

24:10 [music] So, I'm excited to see they got a first and a third place over there.

24:14 Of course, when you've got a star player like Grimy in the mix,

24:16 which is crazy to say that Grimy is

24:18 their star player because Adrian's definitely a slayer.

24:21 Destroy has the vibes,

24:23 but Grimy has been a real differencemaker for me on Verdice Pro because I

24:26 think he is the strongest when [music]

24:28 it comes to small map and resurgence, right?

24:30 I first got introduced to him when he was grinding out area

24:33 99 content tournaments and watching [music] him play a ton of multi-ch.

24:37 So very fun to witness.

24:38 But you throw him on Hayden Hollow, you throw him on Rebirth.

24:40 Dude just wants to [music] get into the action

24:42 and he led the team in average kills.

24:44 So you think about what that Rebirth Island looked like.

24:47 100 plus points came alone from that [music] from Verdice Pro with 112 kills.

24:54 So I'm saying go I could yap all day,

24:56 but Grimy is going to make a difference here today.

24:59 Yeah.

24:59 I mean quick look at these stats too.

25:01 These are unreal.

25:02 I think in general when you think of a guy like Grimy,

25:04 he's got to be a difference maker because he's

25:05 going to be one of your top fragger, right?

25:07 And so Taylor, as I take a look at these stats,

25:09 it obviously tells us where [music] they like to land to some degree,

25:12 but I'm more focused on these kill categories, right?

25:15 Especially on Rebirth like Tiff was highlighting.

25:17 Second overall and up around one with 34 kills

25:20 just on the Rebirth maps we played was awesome.

25:23 Uh indeed.

25:24 I do wonder though, favorite Rebirth Island POI control [music] center.

25:28 It's very land there.

25:31 can't imagine they're going to run it like [laughter] let's go boys.

25:34 Let's go.

25:34 We'll see.

25:35 We'll see.

25:35 But we know how hotly contested it is,

25:37 especially from the floaters of Stronghold, right?

25:39 So, it's going to be a story in just a little bit.

25:42 But that's one team.

25:43 Let's talk about another team.

25:45 And go.

25:45 This is KCR, Knight, Raul, and Clumsy.

25:48 Yeah, I love talking about this team for several reasons.

25:51 One of those reasons to start with is Knight himself,

25:53 former champion in Resurgence.

25:55 One of the honestly, frankly,

25:56 biggest Resurgence content creators for a while that was like, you know what?

25:59 I'm coming back to competitive.

26:00 This is years ago now.

26:02 We blink and we look up and this has been a okay team.

26:05 I'll put it that way, right?

26:07 When you think back to what they were able to do prior to making roster changes,

26:10 they were playing with Gabe.

26:11 And when we saw that original roster, Gabe, Knight, and Clumsy, we're like,

26:14 I think this is going to be a really, really good team.

26:16 They had moments of greatness, but unfortunately just struggled uh last split.

26:20 And so, as Gabe actually gets poached by Gingi,

26:23 who's also competing in this, they've got an open spot, and you need a fragger.

26:27 Who do you find?

26:28 It's Raul.

26:29 So, they pick up Raul and we get

26:31 to upper brackets and they ended up in 12th overall.

26:34 Frankly, mediocre performance.

26:36 12th didn't really tell the whole story.

26:38 It was pretty close in score.

26:39 [music] But the real problem was not actually their kills.

26:42 They actually only averaged nine deaths per game,

26:44 which is the second lowest in the overall lobby,

26:46 but it was mainly because they were just dying out really early.

26:49 [music] They got 10th average placement throughout the course

26:52 of their eight games in uppers, which is very low.

26:54 I think it was third lowest on the entire uh leaderboard.

26:57 So, they really weren't finding any placement.

26:59 Fast forward, [music] we get to lower round two and they say,

27:01 "Hey, it's time to pub stomp, boys.

27:03 Let's get after it." And unbelievably,

27:05 they average 4.6th place [music] throughout

27:09 the course of the lower round two lobbies, which is the highest or the lowest,

27:13 however you want to think about it, the best in the entire lobby.

27:16 They [music] and they do that without getting a win.

27:18 So, something was going right for them.

27:20 They're a little bit stronger on Rebirth for this team.

27:22 and Taylor Raul is a huge difference maker.

27:25 Adding him him onto this roster,

27:27 I think the chemistry is starting to come together.

27:29 This is one [music] of the few lower round teams

27:31 that I think really could be a top five team today.

27:34 But they are a team that struggles to get wins.

27:36 I'm curious how that's going to play an impact,

27:38 especially when we get to our match point format.

27:39 The good news is today is just 10

27:41 straight games all about points scoring top five.

27:44 Going living is going to be spicy, too.

27:46 Much like control, living quarters has a lot of activity there.

27:50 You got your stronghold teams rotating up, sometimes factory as well.

27:53 And typically, you've got some contestion from Green and Living.

27:56 So, it's going to be a bit congested over there.

27:58 However, they know what they're doing.

28:00 Third place in lower round two.

28:02 They join the big dogs now for the grand finals.

28:04 I think they're going to be just fine.

28:06 Very, very nice conversation between those two teams,

28:09 but let's keep it going, man.

28:10 I'm liking G2.

28:12 And they were a big narrative,

28:13 not only at EWC last year with this roster anyways,

28:16 of course, not as G2, but now they are G2.

28:19 still the same trio and go I really appreciate this team especially when you

28:23 think about how much adversity they've had to face you know they had a lot

28:27 of criticism against them now they've proven

28:29 themselves and they are absolutely legit legitimate yeah

28:33 let me be very clear they have definitely

28:34 proven themselves right there is no question about

28:36 this team anymore they are a very good team and for good reasons is one

28:40 of those reasons but it's the entire

28:42 team roster that's really coming together and making

28:44 a difference on the map let me be very clear too by the way if you

28:46 didn't watch the upper bracket round one They

28:49 won upper bracket round one over Twisted Minds,

28:51 over Falcons, over Verus Pro, and everybody else by over 50 points.

28:55 Okay, and they did that without winning a map,

28:58 averaging 4.4th place [music] overall.

29:00 This is a very strong team if they get going.

29:03 The one problem with them can be is that they've struggled on land.

29:07 So, do I expect them to get to land?

29:09 100%.

29:10 And then the big question is, can they turn things around on land?

29:12 Because they are newer to the land scene.

29:14 They've only played a couple at this point.

29:16 slowly but surely getting a bit better.

29:18 Uh I'll be I I will be very surprised if they don't make LAN

29:22 and I'll be I guess very surprised if they do well on LAN as well.

29:25 They still have a lot to prove when it comes to LAN,

29:27 but first we got to get there.

29:29 G2 again a great organization too, right?

29:31 I mean, when you think about representing an org such as G2,

29:34 I think that makes you just a little bit of a better player.

29:37 But Tiff, they did miss out uh in Birmingham.

29:39 I think they're even hungrier now in today's competition.

29:43 You kind of have to be, right?

29:44 Like those are one of those things if you're outside the top five.

29:47 I think they got eighth place overall.

29:48 You look at the number of kills that they

29:50 were able to obtain that lobby less than a hundred.

29:53 I mean, I'll give it to him.

29:53 It was 99.

29:54 It was like almost there.

29:55 So, like whatever.

29:56 [laughter] We're not going to argue over one kill.

29:58 But when you're talking to them about being

30:00 an upper bracket and grabbing 160 kills just,

30:03 you know, throughout that NA, let's replicate on land, boys.

30:06 You got it.

30:08 Well, one team though that we've highlighted time and time again,

30:11 we'll do it one more time.

30:12 Team Falcons.

30:13 And rightly so.

30:14 They are the top dogs undisputably.

30:17 And so at one point was brought in as the closer.

30:19 He still is that closer.

30:21 Let's not forget Birmingham.

30:23 They close it out.

30:24 You know, I I think fire has been lit

30:26 under him [music] even more so now than ever.

30:28 You know, when you think about his SOA, you think about noobs especially, right?

30:32 He wants to be a champion back to back.

30:34 Yeah.

30:34 And I love that we're highlighting noobs here

30:36 on a player spotlight too because that man,

30:39 do you ever see him without a smile on his face?

30:41 like he works so incredibly hard and to see things [music] finally start

30:45 to come together yet again like can we not we got to talk

30:48 about this the history of noobs in general that part of that famed

30:51 roster [music] from TBE back in like OG competitive war zone days.

30:55 So to throw it down return to the top that feeling

30:58 you talk about lighting a fire that has to [music] carry on.

31:01 You know you want to double down take Dream Hack

31:03 Atlanta and create a dynasty again of your own doing right.

31:08 So having these three star players, all of them on paper all stars.

31:13 And [music] I think that seeing they

31:15 got third place coming through the Oprah bracket,

31:17 they're not going to want that either.

31:19 I feel like that's another loss for them when

31:20 you've got G2 who gapped them by 50 points.

31:23 Twisted Minds just barely ahead of them by five points.

31:26 I'm ready to see [music] Noobs get crazy today.

31:30 I think he's going to, man.

31:31 And you know, Noob's one of those guy I I love watching his perspective,

31:34 too, cuz sometimes he doesn't smile.

31:35 who's really serious with what he does.

31:37 Smile just lights up the world, right?

31:39 Uh, brilliant guy.

31:41 There there was [laughter] a lot of emote.

31:42 Let me be very clear to you.

31:43 There was a lot of emotion in that interview, right?

31:46 It was probably the most emotional anybody's ever seen

31:48 from news because this was truly a long time coming.

31:51 His first kind of win, big win in a very long time.

31:54 So, yeah, shout out to that roster.

31:56 Excited to see them today.

31:58 All right.

31:58 Well, let's talk about another roster.

31:59 It's on and this roster is looking strong.

32:02 Sosa, you've been singing this guy's praises all day today.

32:06 Go.

32:06 Well, I think for good reason.

32:08 You know, when we take a look at NA versus EU,

32:10 one thing that struck me about NA is there's only a couple teams

32:13 coming from lower round [music] one that didn't play in our upper bracket.

32:17 Uh oh, in this roster, they did get picked up by an org.

32:21 And I will say for good reason as well.

32:23 They obliterated everybody in lower round one.

32:27 They said, "Okay, this truly does feel like pubs." They won by over 60 points.

32:32 And then they step up into low round two

32:34 where they're going to get contested a bit more.

32:35 There's going to be a lot more action.

32:37 And they still win.

32:38 And they still win by a lot.

32:39 They're averaging 16 plus kills a game

32:41 with little 5.6 [music] is their overall average placement.

32:45 So these are incredibly good stats.

32:47 For folks like Tennx, you're like, "Okay, that's a good player.

32:50 He's been around for a long time." As a reminder,

32:52 unfortunately didn't make it through our online call,

32:55 so had to go to the uh opens

32:57 and frankly just didn't do all that well there either.

33:00 played with Elo Lamb and Sucra and that's

33:02 a roster that's had their ups and downs

33:03 but Tennets picks up Lit and Sosa and they go insano style in lower rounds.

33:08 So the big question for this team is if they can do it again against the top

33:12 top talent especially when you've got Lit averaging

33:15 as their anchor less than two deaths per game.

33:19 15 deaths overall in low round two.

33:21 This is a very strong team that could be contesting some

33:23 of our top teams over at Train or also at Control.

33:27 Watch out.

33:28 Uh maybe Vitality and others.

33:30 Yeah, Vitality [laughter] VP.

33:32 Well, speaking of Control, by the way,

33:34 Vitality, Tiff, uh Control will be landing there.

33:36 That's actually their old stomping grounds,

33:38 at least when you think about Skull and Blast.

33:40 So, uh super excited to see how well they're

33:42 going to perform today because from what I hear,

33:44 they are potentially on the struggle bus.

33:54 I mean, they're looking pretty good.

33:55 I talked to Ebates earlier today.

33:56 They have a lot of strategies on both Havens Hollow and Rebirth Island.

34:04 Maybe they're on the struggle bus a little bit,

34:05 but if they're prepped, they're ready to go.

45:16 They're the only teams that have crossed into the double digits,

45:18 but other than that, I'm seeing a lot of eights,

45:20 seven, sixes, all kind of grouped together.

45:22 So, you can see here a number of teams,

45:24 they're finding the kills that they need to, but it's

45:26 all about these placement multipliers into the top 10.

45:30 The 1.4 is really that golden number for so many of these teams.

45:36 They're going to maintain the ability to sit on top of this mansion as they

45:40 are just trying to hold on to this for as long as they can.

45:44 I'm seeing in the kill feed maybe a potential squad wipe onto

45:47 Verdice Pro and I am getting confirmation that is a full wipe.

45:51 Twisted Mines going to be able to hold that pond house,

45:54 get VP out and they have a strong positioning on this zone.

49:19 They back up to the pond house, gain the elevation,

49:21 and set up that crossfire, a kill box that becomes a graveyard.

49:25 The team they are up against.

49:27 20 kills and a 1.6.

49:28 I don't know math too well, my friend,

49:30 but they're going to be looking incredibly pretty.

49:33 I mean, what's so great about seeing this as well?

49:36 Reminder, we watched the Falcons, just seeing how western this zone was.

49:40 The Falcons leave boat very early.

49:42 They land Mansion.

49:43 They kind of push Twisted Minds out and inevitably Twisted Minds,

49:46 they kind of get the last laugh, right?

49:47 They float on over to Pond.

49:48 They kind of want to play out of there.

49:50 They can see all of this action happening on train.

49:52 And they're more than happy to turn their attention over there

49:55 and then just hold this kind of making this, you know,

49:57 sort of guess of, oh, I think the zone is going to pull over here.

50:00 Let's just try and play out of the pond house.

50:02 But it was this kind of last final moments where they

50:04 take that fight against G2 and it's just the immediate from Shifty.

50:08 He hops up on the roof and he's able to find one while Almond finds Unrational.

50:12 Just that moment lets them clean up that team

50:14 at their backside and immediately turn their attention forward.

50:17 Yeah, certainly does.

50:18 It's I don't know.

50:19 Just doing a wonderful job of controlling the chaos

50:21 is what Twisted Minds have become known for.

50:23 But usually we expect them to do that when

50:25 their anchors in a lovely little pocket of space.

50:27 And I say pocket is basically a bucket

50:29 that they managed to obtain over a mansion.

50:31 And while Shifting Smith kind of going on the hunt,

50:33 this shows a different kind of play style from them.

50:36 the ability to recover despite what was

50:38 incredibly unexpected three team contest over a mansion.

50:41 So yeah, really great job out of them.

50:43 Incredibly clean stuff and reminder that this team,

50:46 despite not winning Birmingham, they're only two gunfights away from doing so,

50:49 put themselves right in the spot and have been ridiculously consistent online.

50:53 Arguably the most consistent team in 2026.

50:56 So despite all the talk on the timeline,

50:58 they're going to remind us nice and early that they are one

51:00 of the best teams in the world and claiming big prizes here in 2026.

51:10 what reflections Go and Tiff have to say about map number one.

51:17 It was a ton of contestants, twisted minds dominating,

51:21 but the usual suspects while some new competitors.

51:23 Elm for example, second place, 16 kills.

51:26 That is big for them.

51:28 A lot to break down.

51:28 Let's start doing it.

51:29 First, let's talk about these contestants because I

51:32 think we had two triple contestants off the rip.

51:35 Yeah, there was a lot of chaos and some of it was expected,

51:38 maybe some of it wasn't as expected if

51:40 you haven't been watching some of the qualifying rounds.

51:41 I think the main one, of course,

51:42 we do know non-contested wise G2 was way down there by themselves

51:46 and they basically just killed everybody on the south side of the map,

51:48 which is why they had so many kills.

51:50 But where we started was in train for good reason.

51:53 at train.

51:54 We had Verdice Pro, we had Owen, question mark, we had Vitality,

51:58 that's Sosa's team, by the way, and Vitality all landing on each other at train.

52:02 And it was utter chaos to kick things off.

52:04 But what we didn't see while that was

52:05 going on was also the triple contest at Mansion,

52:08 which was Blatant and Twisted Minds as expected.

52:10 And then the Falcons saying, "We're not going boat on a pawn circle.

52:13 We're going on to Mansion trying to start things off with a bang." And well,

52:17 it started off with a bang.

52:18 Twisted Minds did a very good job of leaving mansion early.

52:23 When we saw all the chaos,

52:24 they said we don't want to be trapped in a third party battle.

52:27 We're going to jump over to Pond.

52:28 Third party, the anchor of four fun [music] flanks team, take him down,

52:32 take over Pawn, and then send two back to pinch Falcons.

52:35 Once they did that, and they took over Pond like Enigma said,

52:38 they set up a death trap in Pawn.

52:40 G2 was able to rotate in as a top five team.

52:42 They make it almost the top five,

52:44 die in [music] six because of the setup that Twisted Minds did.

52:47 and allowed them to get the win.

52:49 Twisted Minds, that was one of the most like textbook

52:52 perfectly played win even under a bit of chaos, right?

52:56 This isn't a Ravens esports mansion anymore, folks.

53:01 It is very active at mansion,

53:03 but Twisted Minds were still able to make uh what was or could have been,

53:07 I guess, a bad game.

53:08 They made it into a fantastic one.

53:15 They are proven themselves once again to be one of the best

53:17 teams in North America and therefore the world at this point.

53:24 Tiff, it was Verdice Pro who ended up having a lackluster game one.

53:28 Yeah, we did talk about how Verdice Pro wasn't actually that strong on Havens

53:33 Hollow in the pre-show and they get

53:34 the majority of their points from Rebirth Island.

53:36 However, when you're kicking off your 10ame series

53:38 with two maps back to back on Havens Hollow,

53:41 I'm going to need you to make some adaptations.

53:43 They did actually go train stations.

53:45 It didn't go that great for them.

53:47 We saw them at one point out in the water trying to reset.

53:50 The cool part about that is they do it and they immediately chow pond.

53:54 Then you got one person left alive on the map.

53:56 They hit a buyback, send two of their players

53:58 up to child Twisted Minds back at pond again,

54:01 lose out on that fight and then they try like what are you supposed to do?

54:04 Twisted Minds did lock down pond like it was their own.

54:07 And it was you should send the Falcons a thank

54:09 you note for going mansion because it allowed [laughter] you

54:11 to set up in pond early on get some more

54:13 kills and just win the game and get a 1.6 multiplier.

54:16 So that's good on them.

54:18 Good on them indeed.

54:19 You know yesterday or was one of those breakout

54:21 teams who ended up securing top five.

54:24 Elo Lamb could very well be one of those other teams for North

54:27 America to break into top five after their impressive second place finish.

55:21 It's one of the beautiful things that the rotation has brought us is a lot

55:24 of these story lines about where teams

55:25 and certain players individually like to perform their craft.

55:29 For example, the fact that Vitality get off to a slow start on that Havens drop.

55:32 It's honestly spells nightmares for them because they

55:34 are not enjoying that control contest over on Rebirth.

55:37 They have to make this second drop count.

55:39 It is so much more important than previously where typically,

1:13:48 On the other side, for fun actually heads down to Lumber and Chow's G2,

1:13:53 which means G2 can't have a stabilized map.

1:13:55 And then over at Train, Vitality continues to fight SOA's team.

1:13:58 Now, the big fight I think for Vertice Pro was that well,

1:14:01 unfortunately, it was their last fight that we just saw on screen.

1:14:04 FaZe ended up wiping them as VP come from uh research through servers where they

1:14:09 originally landed and then tried to fight in coal and FaZe were ready for it.

1:14:13 They went out in coal and then FaZe actually went out in lumber as well,

1:14:16 causing G2 to be scrambled.

1:25:13 And that's just been the use case for so many different teams, right?

1:25:16 Where you're seeing these teams have different ideas of how they

1:25:19 want to play the map depending on where the zone goes.

1:25:21 So seeing this sort of stronghold type zone, obviously like you mentioned,

1:38:56 Falcons abandoned a northern drop over at Kim and they decided to go stronghold

1:39:00 and return to form from way back when it feels like years ago at this point.

1:39:04 Falcons dropped with Blatant and PBJ down at Stronghold and Falcons win out.

1:39:08 That's why they had so many kills towards the late game cuz they moved up

1:39:11 to living quarters after winning stronghold with double

1:39:13 digit kills already early in this game.

1:39:15 And then control was what we saw mostly on screen and that was of course VP,

1:39:20 Vitality and O in question mark.

1:39:22 So that O team is a really strong team.

1:39:25 They actually kind of won out a lot of those fights but Vitality

1:39:28 did a really good job of regaining and then full sending boat

1:39:32 to take that boat position which actually allowed VP to retake control

1:39:37 which is where things got really interesting on the rest of the map.

1:39:39 So, while that was all going on though,

1:39:41 and then we had their triple contest and everybody's fighting.

1:39:43 You're right, Twisted Minds wasn't doing

1:39:45 a whole lot of anything until late game.

1:39:47 I mean, we saw them get a couple kills here and there,

1:39:49 but they're near the bottom of our kill category

1:39:51 all the way up until the final couple circles.

1:39:53 And that's where things started to go ary for some

1:39:55 of these other rosters when Twisted Minds was finally able to get active.
