24:13 Like they might be just incredible versus Atlanta and maybe

24:16 finding some struggles versus teams like the Gentlemen mates, like G2.

24:19 Do you think it's a match up issue or what's going on with Miami?

24:22 Well, Gentlemen mates start off the season just way better than them, right?

24:24 Miami couldn't catch up.

24:25 And when they played in the minor, Miami beat them and they beat them on one

24:28 of their best maps in the Colossus hardpoint.

24:30 I would say I think teams are starting to game

24:31 plan specifically for Miami a little bit better as of late.

24:34 Yeah, and they've dropped a couple of series.

24:36 I still think that they're a great team,

24:37 but I think both these teams are kind in the same boat, right?

24:40 On one end you got a really dominant Search

24:42 and Destroy team that can show flashes of respawn prowess.

24:45 And on the other end it's the Gentlemen [music] mates

24:47 who have been unbelievable on hardpoint despite like them losing series.

24:50 Their hardpoint has still been good.

24:52 And in this particular match up, Gentlemen mates are 7-1 against them in HP.

24:56 So really Exactly.

24:58 So tell the tapes easy.

24:59 You look at Miami and it's like okay, if you could still NHB here,

25:02 you got a great chance of winning

25:03 the series vice versa for gentlemen with the S&D.

25:05 Who has the higher ceiling?

25:10 gentlemen because they won the first major, right?

25:12 And they obviously have more accomplished Call of Duty players, but yeah,

25:15 I mean in terms of pace of play in this title,

25:17 we've seen Miami play at a super high level online as well.

25:20 So, I'll go with gentlemen, but Miami can play on that level.

25:23 say I don't know if I could pick if I got asked that.

25:24 I see even when it comes to the ceiling it's all about consistency though.

25:29 And [music] if you're looking for someone

25:30 who's got consistent numbers, it's Dan Ghosty.

25:32 He did have an off map [music] for his most recent

25:35 match up everyone's going to remember with that recent see bias,

25:38 but the season on a whole pretty good for Dan.

25:41 Major one great for the squad where they at going into major three.

25:45 Kicking themselves kind of in the shin a little bit here.

25:47 They're fantastic respawn team.

25:49 It sucks because they've really not been winning [music] their map ones recently

25:52 and some of the hard points that they're losing are just nail biters.

25:55 So, within 50 points they're just not closing out like they used

25:57 to and their biggest problem for me right now is search and [music] destroy.

26:01 With this new meta and the new maps,

26:03 they just haven't found a new map to add to their map

26:06 pool given the ones that were added and it's really hurting them

26:09 in a lot of these series and they need to be able

26:11 to add something and now as we look at the match modes,

26:13 I mean you're going to put Paws up and Fringe in the series,

26:15 but gentlemen are 0 and 1 on Paws up right now and Fringe 0 and 2.

26:18 So, again Paws up was not [music] even close like nothing.

26:23 They showed us nothing on that map and then the Fringe they've been 0 and 2 on.

26:26 So, we're really going to get a good barometer for where

26:29 they're at if we go the distance in this series.

26:31 I think one of the keys in the monster winner's bracket or monster free game

26:35 was that we will see [music] a potential

26:37 number two seed up for grabs for gentlemen.

26:39 Yeah, your 3-0 from Optic beat down kind of hurt your odds.

26:43 So, now you're looking to finish strong.

26:45 You don't just want a 3-1 to 3-2.

26:49 Can you get that done knowing that Paws up is in the mix Ali?

26:53 Uh no, and I don't think on either side actually because then I

26:55 look at the respawns in this series for Miami and they're not great.

26:59 of Gentlemen's best hard points in general and then

27:03 in this series and Miami haven't found success there.

27:06 So they kind of got good maps in the sense of [music] S&D that's going

27:09 to play to Gentlemen's weaknesses but the hard

27:10 points are going to play to their strength.

27:11 We've seen Miami look great on both those maps

27:14 but they're just wildly inconsistent on them, right?

27:16 So it's it's really hard to come in and say like Miami

27:19 are going to take one of the one of those hard points.

30:53 We got a Plaza SND, very much a heavy bang out,

30:59 Individual success but the team not so much, and on the flip side,

31:02 well, the SND is going to be extremely important for this squad as well.

31:11 I think this is like a a very easy to identify issue of like

31:14 if they can bring their search together come Atlanta in just a week's time,

31:18 they're absolutely going to be a force to be reckoned with.

31:21 If their SND remains poor, you're just not going to have success on that.

31:26 Uh there's some highlights there from the OpTic Texas match,

31:28 which did not go the way of the Gentlemen.

31:30 It was a very very tough showing against the top dog,

32:26 And then Carolina, I think the fans don't necessarily have the highest

32:29 expectations for, but they've been playing

32:31 really good teams in tight game fives, like a game five round 11 against FaZe

32:40 So, I think Carolina very much a formidable threat.

32:45 Optic obviously expect to be the top dogs,

41:53 Upsets are a little bit more likely because you never know.

41:57 But I feel like at this point in the season,

41:58 teams have really started to figure things out.

42:00 A lot of our, you know, Challengers teams are also figuring things out.

42:04 So we're looking at squads that are way more practiced,

42:06 way more well-versed, in better form, going up against each other.

42:10 I think it's just such a better thing in general for the Challenger squads.

42:13 So, instead of just rolling the dice, hoping for the best,

42:15 you've got much better teams playing good pro

42:17 level teams when they're in a better form.

42:19 I think it's a much nicer showing of their skill and their teamwork chemistry,

42:22 all that sort of good stuff.

42:25 And I think the number of storylines that are coming

42:27 in from the Challenger's team is actually kind of impressive as well.

42:31 I mean, you got guys like Renegade,

42:32 just another one of those Halo guys coming to COD,

42:34 and he has been taking over in Challenger's,

42:36 looking fantastic, developing his gameplay.

42:39 So, what he's going to be a ton of fun to watch.

42:40 Very happy to see him on the main stage for the first time.

42:44 And even just like the the coaching staffs of these four team,

42:47 Major Maniac giving a shot at coaching.

42:49 Just in my mind, that is one of the the perfect former pro players to take

42:52 that objective winning style mindset and try

42:55 to like work that into some of the teammates.

42:57 That's going to be super fun to watch and see how well he can work.

43:00 Bance is another guy that started to work with teams,

43:02 and that is the encapsulation of like

43:04 the British Call of Duty genius that we have.

43:07 Another objective minded, fantastic communicator,

43:10 and a ton of fun to work with that as well.

43:12 Josh has been doing incredibly good things for his team.

43:15 And then Vortex, the guy rounding out.

43:16 So, this is like all the old European fantastic

43:20 OBJ guys now working with like new teams coming together.

43:23 And if you're thinking about like, you know,

43:25 the advantages that the pro teams have

43:27 over the Challenger teams at the midpoint, coaching staff is a a big impact.

43:31 The ability to do things day over day, develop the game plan.

43:34 The Challenger teams now have this.

43:36 So, it's going to be incredibly exciting.

43:37 And again, I think they're going to be extremely dangerous.

43:40 Is this not like some random Challenger

43:42 kid watching like Paris Legion Made's VOD,

43:44 and I'm thinking he's going to be able to understand that and see it.

43:46 But the coaching staff that all four of these Challenger teams have in they've

43:49 been around the block and are some of the perfect people to make an impact.
