Justice Department pulls NIGHTMARE move | Another Day

0:45 that this is part of Donald Trump's political retribution campaign,

0:48 but it's not fair to jump to conclusions simply because of one example.

1:03 this still feels like a pretty legitimate piece of impartial justice to me.

1:09 one of Trump's very closest allies and a former lawyer of his, had

1:14 been running the US attorney's office in the Eastern District of Virginia.

1:18 She had been pressuring and pushing prosecutors to bring charges against Lucas,

1:24 believing that that would be important, a high priority case.

1:27 I'm told that Hagan believed it would be good for the White House to be

1:32 able before the midterms to accuse

1:35 a prominent state Democrat in Virginia with bribery.

1:39 Bribery.

1:40 Now, we're getting somewhere.

1:41 And I got to say, I find it rich that bribery is the apparent

1:45 red line for an administration that traffics in it on a daily basis.

1:48 I mean, come on.

1:49 You've got CBS's parent company, Paramount,

1:52 paying 16 million bucks to settle a lawsuit so that Donald Trump

1:55 can step in and approve their multi-billion dollar merger with Sky Dance.

1:59 Great bribe.

2:00 A law firm promising $40 million in free legal work so Trump leaves you alone.

2:06 and a country handing you a free plane

2:09 in the hopes of influencing your foreign policy.

2:23 But it sure feels like another case of someone doing Donald Trump's bidding.

2:28 Now, the raid of Lucas's office this morning took everyone by surprise,

2:31 which is why there weren't any news networks

2:33 on the scene to cover what was happening.

2:40 There was one network that somehow got a hot tip.

2:43 A very influential Democrat from Virginia, State Senator Luis Lucas,

2:48 is at the center of a major FBI corruption investigation right now.

2:52 In fact, agents are executing search warrants across the Commonwealth,

2:56 including her office.

3:49 federal agents also searched a neighboring cannabis

3:52 dispensary that Lucas co-owns called the Cannabis Outlet.

3:55 So clearly, Senator Lucas spent a bit more time

3:58 on policy than she did on naming her store.

4:01 Come on, Senator.

4:02 Was local weed place already taken?

4:05 The FBI also stated that agents were executing a court authorized

4:09 federal search warrant in Portsmouth as part of an ongoing investigation,

4:12 but declined to provide additional details.

4:15 Well, that's where the fourth estate comes in.

4:18 Because when the FBI doesn't want to give additional details,

4:21 local news reporters hunt them down on their own.

4:34 So, as you probably could tell, she turned her back to me,

4:36 didn't get out of the car, didn't say anything.

5:02 we don't know about what's happening in Virginia,

5:04 but that's not to say there isn't a lesson to be learned from today's FBI raid.

5:07 And the people who should be learning this lesson, frankly, are Democrats.

5:11 Years ago, after that globally televised Day of Peace/Tourist

5:16 visit/nothing to see here at our nation's capital,

5:19 certain people at the Justice Department felt that the worst thing Biden's

5:22 DOJ could do would be to give off the optics of politicization.

5:26 So, in their efforts to appear impartial,

5:29 they took their sweet time holding those zip tie

5:31 wielding hippies and their freespirited leader accountable for their actions.

5:35 In fact, these same certain people wanted to appear so unbiased they didn't even

5:40 appoint Jack Smith to the case until

5:42 almost 2 years after that capital love fest.

5:45 Now, no one really knows who exactly these certain people are,

5:49 but sitting here today,

5:50 it doesn't really feel like that whole optics play paid off.

5:54 Newly sworn in, President Trump,

5:55 issued roughly 1,500 pardons on his first day in office and commuted

5:59 the sentences of 14 of his supporters

6:02 in connection with the January 6th insurrection,

6:05 ended Joe Biden's weaponization of our government,

6:08 and removed his handpicked radical left Marxist prosecutors

6:12 from the Department of Justice like deranged Jack Siksmith.

6:16 He's a sick son of a They gave me the worst of the worst and here I am.

6:24 How did that happen?

6:25 I think we're all asking ourselves the same question.

6:28 By dragging their feet on holding criminals to account,

6:31 a clear message was sent to Donald Trump.

6:33 And that message was, I can get away with whatever the I want.

6:36 And he sure as hell got that memo because that's exactly what's going on now.

6:40 Not only is this White House a 24-hour corruption factory,

6:44 but when it comes to the idea

6:45 of bad optics because of an appearance of politicization,

6:48 Donald Trump and the Republicans don't seem too concerned.

6:51 The Justice Department has now subpoenaed the former FBI director, James Comey.

6:56 In recent weeks, President Trump has signed orders against several law firms,

7:00 orders with the power to destroy them.

7:03 The Justice Department has subpoenaed multiple highranking Minnesota officials.

7:08 Among those to receive subpoenas are Governor Tim Walls,

7:11 Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.

7:16 What about Comey, Adam Shifty Schiff, Leticia.

7:19 They're all guilty as hell, but nothing is going to be done.

7:22 The Republican chair of the House Judiciary Committee,

7:25 Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio, is asking the Justice Department to take

7:30 legal action against former CIA Director John Brennan.

7:34 Wow.

7:34 Jim Jordan leading the charge.

7:36 Pretty wild considering back in 2023 there was

7:39 this House subcommittee that was created called the Select Subcommittee

7:42 on the Weaponization of the federal government and the person

7:45 who created it was also named Jim Jordan.

7:48 Guess it's not just sexual abuse that he can turn a blind eye to.

7:52 It's also his own blatant hypocrisy.

7:55 What a talent.

7:56 The truth is it is pretty hard to see this raid on a Democratic state senator

8:00 as anything other than being politically motivated.

8:03 And that's because this administration has lost all credibility.

8:06 When you accuse Democratic members of Congress of sedition for their audacious

8:09 move of saying US service members can refuse illegal orders,

8:13 when you target a prosecutor with bank fraud

8:15 simply because she brought a civil case against you,

8:18 and when you drop the hammer down on people for posting stupid

8:20 pictures of seashells and treat them as though they are cold-blooded killers,

8:24 it's a bit of a tell that you're grasping at straws.

8:27 Donald Trump is doing exactly what we all knew he

8:30 would do if he was elected to a second term.

8:32 He is leading the charge on a weaponized government and weaponized justice.

8:35 And I, for one, can't think of a way

8:37 to vocalize how terrible that is for our nation.

8:40 He's a sick son of a Actually, I think that fits.
