2:03 It's a Young LA situation.

2:26 I bought you a cigar.
2:27 You going to spark it?
2:28 I am.
2:28 I am.
2:29 Have you got a uh you got a cutter?
2:31 I cutter.
2:33 Don't tell me you chew it off.
2:34 Were you brought up in a m in a household with two[ __] mums?
2:38 How do you know?
2:40 Yeah.
2:40 No, no, no.
2:40 The scissor system.
2:41 What you do is you wet the tip.
2:42 Don't bite it.
2:44 wet the tip.
2:46 So just suck on that for 30 seconds.
2:48 Do you want to do what you did that in episode three?
2:50 And then you stab a hole.
2:52 Oh, look at you, bro.
2:52 With the inside of the clipper like that.
2:54 So it's like a So it's like a bull's penis.
2:57 Yeah.
2:58 Nice neat little shaft right down the middle.
3:04 There you go.
3:07 There you go.
3:08 That is now ready for smoking.
3:11 There you go, sir.
3:16 One of us are dressed for winter and the other's[ __] dressed for summer.
3:20 Do you get cold?
3:21 I don't particularly get cold now.
3:23 You got a central heating system in there, isn't it?
3:25 Pretty much.
3:26 Yeah.
3:27 Like five extra layers of thermal thermal muscle.
3:31 How much do you eat in a day?
3:33 __] a lot.
3:35 Um, it's actually when you actually ride it all down, it's not too bad.
3:39 Uh what?
3:41 Breakfast this morning was 200 gram smoked salmon,
3:45 300 gram cottage cheese, two eggs, half a kilo for breakfast.
3:50 Yeah.
3:51 Uh lunch was half a kilo ribeye steak,
3:54 a piece of black pudding, five chicken wings, uh dinner,
4:00 two duck eggs.
4:01 __] hell.
4:02 And then a good pile of sauerkraut.
4:04 And then I'll have the same what I had for lunch I'll have for dinner.
4:07 Sauerkraut's really good for you, isn't it?
4:08 Yeah.
4:08 Yeah.
4:08 Is that like a salt beef bagel?
4:12 It's sauerkraut.
4:13 It has to be uh for me it has to be live cultured
4:16 which is
4:17 So it's basically sauerkraut but it's like it's live cultured cuz you can
4:20 get sauerkraut normal sauerkraut just be dead like there's no bacteria in it.
4:24 Yeah, cuz it's fermented uh what is the vegetable?
4:26 Is it cabbage?
4:27 Cabbage.
4:27 Yeah, fermented cabbage.
4:28 So if you get live cultured, it's got good bacteria in.
4:30 So make sure it says live cultured on the on the job.
4:32 Yeah.
4:33 Yeah,
4:33 my guy.
4:34 We are in probably the nicest[ __] house.
4:37 I mean, it's not really a house.
4:38 Like, the house is in front of us,
4:39 but behind we've got the smoke house, Eddie's barbecue setup.
4:44 We've got a sauna that's going to be turned into, you said, a strip club, right?
4:49 Yeah.
4:49 Strip club.
4:49 Yeah.
4:50 Full strip trip strip.
4:50 We've got a guest house here, which is where I'm staying tonight.
4:54 Yeah.
4:54 And uh Yeah, we got goats.
4:55 We got a tank behind us.
4:56 We got another tank in the front yard.
4:58 This is[ __] mental.
4:59 How come you you're the guy that you
5:01 don't want to leave your local area, do you?
5:03 No, not really.
5:04 I mean, I was born and grew up in a house less than a mile from here.
5:08 Really?
5:08 Yeah.
5:09 Um, and
5:11 you definitely bought that back.
5:13 I I I do actually own my parents house.
5:15 Yeah.
5:15 I bought bought it off my parents so I could keep it in the family.
5:18 Who's the tenant?
5:20 Hey,
5:19 who's the tenant?
5:22 Somebody.
5:22 Yeah.
5:22 Yeah.
5:22 Yeah.
5:23 Kick him out for Should we just kick it?
5:24 Should we kick him out today for a laugh?
5:27 We're in Stoke on Trent.
5:28 Is there a bit of like a small town syndrome here?
5:31 Does everyone know each other?
5:32 Uh, not really.
5:34 No.
5:34 Feel like this is the place you'd see your headmaster in in the little.
5:37 No.
5:37 If I saw my head headmaster anywhere,
5:39 I'd probably slap him because he was heavy in it.
5:41 Yeah.
5:41 He was a proper[ __]
5:42 What was you like in school, Eddie?
5:44 Have you always been big?
5:45 Always been big.
5:46 Yeah, I was um I was quite a mischievous kid.
5:50 So, I was expelled from primary school.
5:53 Had to go to two primary schools.
5:54 And then I managed to get to year I'm going
5:57 to say just the start of year 10 in high school.
5:59 Like end of year nine.
6:00 I was expelled from high school.
6:02 And then I was just home homeschooled.
6:03 No way.
6:04 But um decent grades,
6:06 but just didn't quite fit in with the society of being told what to do.
6:11 Yeah, mate.
6:13 Yeah.
6:12 I mean, what's that all about?
6:14 Being told what to do.
6:15 There's quite a lot of people that do that nowadays.
6:17 I think school is I mean, it's a cliche thing,
6:19 but you do go and just become[ __] an employee somewhere.
6:24 I mean, we're not we're not built out for that.
6:26 I mean, look at us, bro.
6:27 And that's what that that's what school is.
6:28 It's training to be a sheep.
6:30 Yeah.
6:30 And no no offense to anyone.
6:31 It's training you up to do that 9 to5 role for the rest of your life.
6:34 That's what school is.
6:36 Do your kids go to school?
6:37 Yes, they do.
6:38 Yeah.
6:39 I mean, I'm a living example of, you know,
6:42 you don't need academics to be successful in life,
6:45 but I will push them for academics.
6:48 Do you know what it is?
6:48 Some people do, though.
6:50 I think we're uh it's the kind of thing, you know, where it's I mean,
6:53 everyone's talking about this whole like
6:54 manosphere[ __] you know, everyone's getting
6:57 telling everyone they can grow up, become a millionaire.
7:00 It's not for everyone, bro.
7:01 And I feel like school is good for the majority of people, you know?
7:05 It's good social skills.
7:06 It's I mean, I've met some kids that are homeschooled and they're[ __] idiots.
7:10 Yeah.
7:10 I mean, they look at the floor when they're chatting to you like,
7:11 "Oh, son." But uh yeah,[ __] him.
7:15 If he goes, "Mate, I kind of rate the, you know,
7:17 the way the the the kind of gypsy way of living
7:20 and the they the dads kind of take their kids
7:23 scaffolding with them or whatever." Like just on jobs from young.
7:26 You need you need both.
7:27 You need both worlds.
7:28 I agree.
7:28 You need the people that are going to work
7:30 the normal jobs and be doctors and nurses.
7:33 Agreed.
7:33 You know, lecturers and whatever.
7:34 And then you need people like me that do the other
7:36 side of things and people that set up their own businesses.
7:38 You have to have a good mix of everything, of course.
7:41 So, Sideman inside,
7:43 I[ __] miss you.
7:44 You know,
7:45 I knew, mate.
7:46 It's uh it was really nice to be in the house with you for one week.
7:48 I'm surprised.
7:49 I knew you was going to get into the final.
7:50 Did you think you'd win?
7:52 No, not in a million years.
7:53 Yeah, I I honestly went in with just no expectation.
7:57 I think that actually did me a load of favors.
7:59 I just wasn't asked
8:01 in the slightest.
8:02 See, I don't think people actually believe that.
8:04 But there was a lot of people.
8:06 I think by the time the final six come around for the final,
8:10 I don't think anything g I don't think
8:11 anyone gave a[ __] about the the prize money.
8:14 And I said from day one, I didn't think I'd make it past episode three.
8:18 Um but I was like, mate, I mean, why the[ __] didn't you guys vote me out, man?
8:22 Pure BS.
8:24 Like just just why could you vote someone else's like Yeah.
8:26 Just like the life the life of the show, literally.
8:30 Exactly.
8:29 It would have been absolutely boring without you there, mate.
8:32 So
8:32 love you, bro.
8:33 Yeah.
8:33 What did you learn from uh your time inside?
8:37 Um,[ __] hell.
8:38 I mean, look, it taught me a lot of patience, a lot of tolerance.
8:42 It's It was tough for me to be out of my comfort and and go
8:46 and live with 12 other people in a in a[ __] studio for for seven days.
8:51 It was tough.
8:52 Um, yeah.
8:54 I mean, just told me just slow down and just enjoy
8:56 the moments cuz stuff like that doesn't come around very often.
8:59 And then, you know, when when you're in it, oh, this is wank.
9:02 But when you're when you're afterwards, you're like,
9:03 "Actually, that was kind of missed it." Yeah, it was an experience.
9:06 I'd do it again.
9:06 Genuine.
9:07 Yeah, you would do it again.
9:08 I would do it again.
9:08 Definitely with the same crowd.
9:11 I mean, one thing I learned from being inside is I need a[ __] sleeping machine.
9:15 What's that thing you've got?
9:16 CPAP.
9:17 Sleep apnea.
9:18 Sleep apnea.
9:18 Yeah, you definitely got sleep apnnea.
9:19 Do you reckon?
9:20 You was quite adamant on this.
9:22 100%.
9:22 Yeah, I've It was bad, bro.
9:24 It was bad.
9:25 I think I've got like a dust allergy, though.
9:27 I wake up and my sinuses are all just blocked.
9:29 No, I just think you've got too much[ __]
9:31 fat around here and it's really just closing your airways.
9:33 That is what it is, isn't it?
9:34 It's being fat.
9:35 Yeah.
9:35 Yeah.
9:35 So, either lose weight or get the So, how's it work?
9:37 You cuz you were sleeping on your back.
9:39 You put the mask on.
9:40 Just a little a little nose cushion and all
9:42 it does is just force just normal air.
9:45 Just keeps a constant pressure.
9:46 Just keep your airways open.
9:47 Stops your snoring.
9:50 Okay.
9:49 And keeps that oxygen piling in so you're never starved of oxygen.
9:52 So, you actually get much better sleep with it.
9:54 Cuz I've woken up suffocated some nights panting.
9:58 That sleep apnnea, man.
9:59 Yeah.
9:59 __] That could kill you in it.
10:01 Yeah.
10:01 And that if you're doing that all night
10:03 without you won't even know you're doing it.
10:04 You're doing that all night like every
10:05 10 minutes holding your breath for 2 minutes.
10:08 That's going to completely fry your CNS and like
10:11 you just wake up feeling like[ __] all the time.
10:14 All right.
10:14 That's something worth looking into.
10:15 It's worth worth going for a sleep study.
10:17 Definitely.
10:18 Yeah.
10:18 Beef dick.
10:19 Yeah, beef dick.
10:20 I was uh I'd like to say thank you for uh
10:23 face[ __] me on in front of a global audience.
10:25 I was saying on my Twitch stream that You're welcome.
10:28 Yeah.
10:28 My dad uh you know worked his ass off for generations.
10:32 They were in a in a village in Turkey.
10:34 He done everything he could to bring his family here
10:36 for his son to end up sucking dick on on Netflix.
10:38 I mean I can't imagine it was the proudest moment.
10:40 He actually my dad ended up watching episode one.
10:44 Then he ended up on season one.
10:48 Right.
10:48 So he's like he called me the next day.
10:49 He goes, "Oh, I'm watching the show." And uh where are you?
10:52 Yeah.
10:52 He's like, "Oh, it's like loads of new people." I was like, "Yeah, yeah.
10:55 Keep watching that one.
10:56 We're coming.
10:56 I don't want him to get to that[ __] episode where I'm uh shoving
11:00 Oh man, that's that's like that's proud moments.
11:04 I mean, it takes a real man to[ __] go a dick for the team like that.
11:07 Agreed.
11:07 For, you know, to spend 12 grand on a hot water dispenser
11:12 and then 5 minutes later suck dick to save 10k.
11:14 I don't really know where the balance is in that.
11:16 Completely made sense.
11:18 Content first, baby.
11:19 I knew what I knew when that plate when that what's them things called?
11:22 The the
11:23 serving dish.
11:24 Yeah.
11:24 Yeah,
11:25 when that uh the clch, is that what it's called?
11:27 Was raised.
11:28 I knew what time it was.
11:30 I knew what time it was.
11:32 I kind of don't know what to do now.
11:33 What do we[ __] talk about?
11:34 Like that Monday following, you know, the final episode, I was like, great.
11:38 Like, I'll just[ __] laugh over.
11:41 Yeah.
11:41 Yeah.
11:41 What do we do now?
11:42 Oh, we just go KMS.
11:43 Die happy.
11:44 Yeah.
11:44 Yeah.
11:45 Well, yeah.
11:46 Not expressions.
11:49 Oh, you know, people have been getting on to us.
11:51 I think we've taken the expressions thing quite literally.
11:53 We love him.
11:54 It was a game show.
11:55 It was a game show.
11:56 He was a snake, but you know.
11:58 Yeah.
11:58 He He needed bullying out of there and we bullied him out.
12:01 We did.
12:01 Perfect.
12:01 We did.
12:02 Yeah.
12:02 Uh yeah,
12:03 there's no room for snakes in life.
12:05 Yeah, there isn't.
12:05 If that was a real life friend, he'd be out of my life
12:09 100%.
12:09 Like Thor's there.
12:12 I think that's quite brutal as well.
12:13 Lydia's elimination.
12:14 I was like, Lydia, Thor, she was lingering.
12:17 She was chilling, bro.
12:18 She was in the house like refusing to leave kind of.
12:20 The door's there.
12:21 Yeah.
12:21 Yeah.
12:21 Hurry the[ __] up.
12:22 Hurry up.
12:23 Thanks.
12:23 Thanks.
12:24 So, uh, Eddie, you are the world's strongest man.
12:28 Now, what does this mean?
12:29 Are you actually in the world right now, the strongest?
12:33 What?
12:33 What?
12:33 Well, I won the title back in 2017,
12:35 but once you've won the world's strongest man,
12:37 you are always the world's strongest man.
12:38 It's a bit like when you win
12:40 the heavyweight title of the world in boxing,
12:42 you're always the heavyweight champion.
12:44 You know, you never really lose that title.
12:45 So, what you first won it when?
12:48 2017.
12:49 2017.
12:50 Yeah.
12:49 How old are you, Eddie?
12:50 I'm 38 now.
12:51 What a[ __] G.
12:53 Yeah.
12:53 So I retired at 29.
12:55 Really?
12:56 Yeah.
12:56 Retired from what?
12:56 Being the world's strong man.
12:58 Retired.
12:58 So I won the World's Strongest Man and the next day I retired.
13:01 Ah.
13:02 But you you was winning stuff.
13:03 You was the UK's strongest man for quite a while now.
13:06 Yeah.
13:06 Six years in a row.
13:07 Six years in a row.
13:09 Ah.
13:09 And then you went on to worlds
13:10 and then won Worlds.
13:11 Yeah.
13:11 So tell me, how how does one become the world's strongest man?
13:14 I mean, all right, let's go back.
13:15 Yeah.
13:15 So growing up, when did you realize cuz you've got what they call it?
13:18 Um the the Hercules gene.
13:20 Yeah.
13:20 So, when did you realize you had that?
13:23 I would say I was quite blessed in in sport in general,
13:26 you know, like even like sports days,
13:27 I'd be like always the top one or two kids,
13:31 you know, like running, race, anything, strength, I'd always be top.
13:34 Really?
13:34 Yeah.
13:35 And then I um my mom was a swimming
13:37 teacher and my elder brothers were into swimming.
13:39 I saw this.
13:40 You was a national swimmer.
13:42 So, I I ended up going to national championships at age 10
13:45 and I won every single every single front call race you could do.
13:49 what uh 11 12 13 did the same just won
13:53 everything set British records and I was on like
13:56 I was on like the world they call it
13:57 the world class potential squad it's basically the junior
13:59 Olympic team and I guess that's where I
14:03 knew I had a talent you know where whether
14:06 I put my my heart and soul into something
14:08 I just had the genetics to excel at that
14:11 this big guy just winning everything.
14:12 Yeah it was nuts.
14:13 Fast forward[ __] 20 years later he's winning inside.
14:17 So wait, what was you competing?
14:18 The swimming is what?
14:20 100 m.
14:21 Yeah.
14:21 So I did I did all distances.
14:23 So I won the 50 m, the 100 m, 200 m, the 400 m, and the 1500 meters.
14:28 I won them all.
14:29 What is 1500 meters in the water?
14:31 So a mile just under a mile.
14:32 How many?
14:33 Go hit the wall.
14:33 Go hit the wall.
14:34 Go hit the wall.
14:34 Yeah.
14:34 Yeah.
14:35 Yeah.
14:35 So four lengths would be 100 times that by 15.
14:39 Good times that by 15.
14:40 Uh yeah, 1500.
14:42 So a lot of lengths.
14:44 __] hell.
14:45 You can't swim now, though.
14:46 There's no way.
14:47 Yeah, I know.
14:47 I'm a good swimmer.
14:48 No, you can't.
14:49 I can.
14:49 You just sink.
14:50 No, mate.
14:50 I'm still rapid.
14:51 Go to the bottom.
14:52 Like[ __]
14:53 still rapid.
14:54 Really?
14:55 Yeah.
14:55 It's It's obscene when you see me swim.
14:56 It's like a shark.
14:57 It's Right.
14:58 Get All right.
14:59 Pan.
14:59 Pan.
15:00 Yeah.
15:00 Right.
15:00 Get in that pool.
15:03 Right.
15:03 I'm in your ass now, Eddie.
15:05 Get in that[ __] pool.
15:06 I don't think the camera's frame rate will pick it up.
15:09 I'm that fast.
15:10 It's pointless.
15:11 I rate it.
15:12 So, 13.
15:13 I I hit a bit of trouble.
15:14 It's I got expelled from school.
15:16 Um, got in with the wrong No, well, not even the wrong crowd.
15:19 I just got myself into a bit of dirty situation where I was
15:22 addicted to heavy drugs and I used I used to drink a lot.
15:26 Like what type of drugs?
15:28 Cocaine, cannabis, whatever.
15:31 That's the good[ __] though, bro.
15:32 Yeah, it's the good[ __]
15:33 And then I I I would honestly go and buy a crate
15:36 of beer every single day and drink a crate of beer to myself.
15:39 That was a real life Homer Simpson.
15:40 Oh, mate, it was nuts.
15:42 What beer?
15:44 Hey,
15:43 what beer?
15:44 Uh, usually the stellar artisa and we used
15:46 to call it stellar[ __] you because every time
15:48 you get to about your eighth can you'd
15:50 have a pipe guaranteed you'd be in a scrap.
15:54 So that was right.
15:54 Come here you.
15:56 Yeah.
15:56 __] hell.
15:57 So yeah, that that sort of whole happened at once.
15:59 I got a nan that was very close to diagnosed with cancer.
16:02 I managed to get a girl pregnant
16:05 and then obviously because of all that[ __] my swimming went downhill very fast.
16:09 I was kind of like
16:10 swimming in m.
16:11 Yeah, swimming in m.
16:12 So wait, hold on.
16:12 You're still 13 these times?
16:14 Still 13, 14.
16:15 Yeah.
16:15 __] off.
16:16 Yeah.
16:16 And uh the the swimming hit hit rock bottom.
16:19 I s all my times just sort of dipped
16:20 and that and then I got a very heavy bout of depression.
16:23 Like really bad.
16:24 Diagnosed with depression.
16:26 Uh prescribed Prozacs.
16:28 I had to see a psychiatrist once a week every week for two years.
16:32 You[ __] prick.
16:36 It's funny.
16:39 Oh, I'm really upset.
16:42 you couldn't.
16:43 But during that time,
16:46 there was like some really dark, horrible moments in my life.
16:49 And it was actually my mom that one day,
16:52 you know, I was probably about coming on to 14,
16:54 15, and and my mom sort of said, "Look,
16:56 look, you can't stay at home all day wanking." And
17:00 mate, this is so[ __] I'm going to say something very similar.
17:03 Anyway, so my mom joined me in a gym and I
17:06 ended up uh going to the gym and give it a month,
17:09 every time I walked out of that gym, I felt better.
17:12 I got a feeling of selfworth.
17:14 My anxiety and my depression just sort of melted away very very fast.
17:18 And that was it.
17:19 I was hooked.
17:20 I was I was a gym addict, you know,
17:22 and I guess I'm a very I've got a very addictive
17:25 personality.
17:26 Very addictive.
17:27 This is why I was addicted to to cocaine,
17:29 to to drugs, and you know, and alcohol in essence.
17:32 And that was replaced with the gym.
17:34 Um, and that's when I started my weightlifting journey when I was like 14.
17:37 And uh, yeah, I never looked back.
17:38 Blessed enough to go on and make a career from it.
17:41 Yeah.
17:41 You know, it's mad that you said that thing about your mom.
17:43 Yeah.
17:44 So, I smoked weed for the first time when I was 18 years old.
17:48 Yeah.
17:49 And
17:50 that's late.
17:51 Very late.
17:52 That's very late.
17:54 I lost my virginity at 18 as well.
17:56 You[ __] That's
17:56 Everything was quite late.
17:57 Yeah.
17:57 That's proper gay.
17:58 Yeah, I know.
17:59 Yeah.
17:59 Very super gay.
18:01 So good.
18:02 He was a guy as well actually.
18:07 So uh I suffered with something called depersonalization.
18:13 Depersonalization.
18:13 Yeah.
18:13 Which is basically you start seeing yourself you trick
18:16 your brain into thinking that you're you're in a video game.
18:19 Yeah.
18:19 And you start seeing your POV almost detached from reality.
18:25 Right.
18:24 So I suffered from this for about six, seven months.
18:28 Uh no genuinely for the best part of a year.
18:30 And I was in bed kind of bedrotting most days.
18:33 I was about 18 19 these times.
18:34 I had a job.
18:35 I started working at Vice.
18:38 But I just mate I was in I was just constantly in bed.
18:42 Yeah.
18:42 Thinking that there's something wrong with me.
18:44 And I've done everything.
18:45 I called people, spoke to help lines.
18:48 Mate, you know what it really took for me to actually get the[ __] up.
18:51 And and a lot of people might disagree with this, but I don't really care.
18:54 My mom came into my room one day.
18:56 Yeah.
18:56 And she goes, "Get the[ __] up out of bed.
18:58 There is nothing[ __] wrong with you.
19:00 go outside, get fresh air, and[ __] pattern up.
19:03 And you know, from that day, call it tough love,
19:06 call it whatever you want, call it[ __] being realistic about the situation,
19:09 mate.
19:09 I've just been like, just crack on.
19:12 Just get on with stuff.
19:13 And honestly, like I[ __] love my mom to bits.
19:17 I'm a mommy's boy at heart if you couldn't tell.
19:19 Yeah,
19:20 __] And uh yeah, mate.
19:22 Honestly, it was my mom coming in that day.
19:24 So that was a very When you said that part, I was like, "Fucking hell." Yeah.
19:28 So now now now Jim now 500 kg now I'm like Eddie.
19:32 Yeah.
19:32 Sometimes you just sometimes a good stern word
19:34 from a parent can be that that turn of the key.
19:37 Well there's like
19:37 different pathways.
19:38 Yeah.
19:38 I see all this soft parenting[ __] online nowadays and it worries me man.
19:42 Oh it's
19:43 it worries me.
19:44 It it is very worrying me.
19:45 I mean I get it with my I'm very hard on my son and then
19:48 and then and then you know the message is is very very soft on him and
19:53 it's a good dynamic.
19:54 I think that's a good dynamic as long as you don't override each other.
19:57 So when I'm giving him the drill,
19:58 he comes in and saves it, it ruins it and then they become Yeah.
20:03 I don't really I don't really rate all that.
20:04 I I honestly think like a very motherred boy and and someone
20:07 who's very very protective and has everything done for them
20:10 like you know the the washing done,
20:12 the you know the food for them and everything.
20:14 I think you're setting that person up to be for failure
20:18 a failure but a narcissist cuz then they
20:20 expect everything in life to be handed to them.
20:22 Yeah.
20:23 And that that in my opinion,
20:24 that's the problem with today's society is everyone's waited on, oh,
20:29 your feelings all right, everything's[ __] so sensitive.
20:32 You're going to go online, you're going to see people say[ __] you don't like.
20:35 You're going to go to a restaurant, your food's not going to be cooked properly,
20:37 you're going to have you're going to be given Fanta when you ask for co.
20:40 Like, it's like crack on.
20:41 Do you know what I mean?
20:42 Yeah.
20:42 But people people are melting these days over the small.
20:44 You're going to get voted out episode one.
20:46 Like just[ __] Yeah, it is.
20:49 I mean, snowflake society is again it's it's real life though, is it?
20:53 You do see it.
20:54 You do.
20:55 Yeah.
20:56 And it's funny because I think the Yeah, people are entitled nowadays.
21:01 Everyone must think the same.
21:03 Everyone must mind, mate.
21:04 There's so many things wrong with today's society.
21:06 One of the That's one big problem is everyone's too[ __] morbid and sensitive.
21:11 The other problem I see is um it's this it's this um it's the reward.
21:18 It's it's the hard work reward scheme we've got going these days, right?
21:22 So, back in my day, if you wanted a nice car,
21:25 you'd have to work your[ __] dick off
21:27 to buy a car for like £1,000, £1,500, right?
21:31 Whereas nowadays, a 17year-old can walk into[ __]
21:35 Mercedes and get a 40 grand car on finance.
21:40 So, they've had this massive reward and they've done[ __] all for it.
21:43 Yeah, I agree.
21:44 And it it it's setting them up for failure for the rest of their life.
21:48 Yeah, but that that's that's a social media thing though already.
21:50 Everything's accessible.
21:51 Everything's online.
21:52 Everyone's got this way of I don't know.
21:54 We just everyone wants to be lit.
21:56 They do, mate.
21:57 Yeah.
21:57 It's it's But everyone's got this like,
21:58 oh, live in the moment sort of mentality,
22:00 but I I'm a very and I always have been a very forward thinking person,
22:05 you know.
22:05 When I was 18, I bought my first house the day I was 18.
22:09 A house?
22:09 A house.
22:10 Then shut the[ __] up then, bro.
22:11 You have 40 grand.
22:12 You bought a house at 18.
22:14 What are you on?
22:15 Well, this is the thing, though.
22:16 I I'd rather buy a house.
22:17 And I drove around in a shit£,000 car.
22:20 I agree.
22:20 I agree.
22:20 Right.
22:20 And I bought a house at 18.
22:22 I bought my second house at 19 and so on and so on.
22:24 And I always drove[ __] cars.
22:26 But people would look at you and think you've got, you know,
22:27 and it wasn't until I was sort of 24, 25, I start,
22:30 you know, start buying nice cars going to do well for myself.
22:34 Yeah.
22:33 And now I can I can go and buy a[ __] tank, you know?
22:37 But it's because of that forward thinking.
22:39 It's because I always fought for the future
22:41 and didn't spunk all my money up the wall
22:43 as soon as it came into the bank.
22:44 You know, paying 800 quid finance, 800 quid insurance, 800 quid on fuel,
22:49 and then it's like, right, how how have I got money to save for a house?
22:52 __] I haven't.
22:53 I spent it all on this[ __] car that I can't afford.
22:55 Drive a smart car, act your wage.
22:58 Yes.
22:58 Yeah.
22:58 Yeah.
22:59 And go get Yeah.
22:59 Get stacking.
23:00 I I can handle not say at some point I was
23:02 driving on in like a[ __] shitty banged up Ford Fiesta,
23:06 you know, at some points, you know, like early teens and that.
23:08 Don't get me wrong, I've had my nice cars,
23:11 but and you you see the comments and everyone say,
23:13 "Oh, you see your mate have a brand new BMW."
23:15 And I always said to myself,
23:16 "Fucking crack on cuz you'll be a[ __][ __] when you're older." And they are.
23:19 They're all Yeah, they are.
23:20 They are.
23:20 They are.
23:21 They got[ __] all to the name.
23:22 They probably still live with the[ __] mums.
23:24 Yeah, most of them do.
23:25 Yeah, that's I mean I drive around in a tank so Yeah.
23:29 relatable.
23:29 I mean, what's that trying to What are you trying to say there?
23:31 I'm just saying it's like a very small dick cheap tank.
23:34 It's That's big dick energy, mate.
23:36 It is big.
23:38 Yeah.
23:38 Yeah.
23:39 Taking up like the whole Lamborghini and Ferrari is small dick energy.
23:42 Yeah.
23:43 Yeah.
23:43 All day long.
23:44 Yeah.
23:44 Tank big dick.
23:45 Yeah.
23:46 How How much are them things?
23:50 Um I mean they've really rocketed in value now since the wars began.
23:53 I would say something like that.
23:55 Probably 3 to 400,000.
23:57 __] hell.
23:58 Um really and they're getting less they're getting more
24:00 rare because the roadleal tanks are getting dismantled.
24:03 They're getting sent off for war.
24:04 They're getting less and less and less.
24:06 I honestly think in 15 20 years that'll be a 2 million pound tank
24:10 because there'll only be like 50 left in the world that are road legal.
24:13 What's the maintenance like?
24:14 Pretty good.
24:15 Really?
24:15 Yeah.
24:15 Yeah.
24:15 You just keep the keep the level.
24:17 I'm a mechanic.
24:18 Windscreen fluid.
24:18 Windscreen.
24:19 You're a mechanic?
24:20 Yeah.
24:20 I was anything you don't[ __] I was a mechanic for 10 years.
24:23 So I I understand engines.
24:24 Every time I jump in, I check the oil.
24:26 If any lights come on, I know what it is.
24:28 You know, if I hear something bang, I'm like, "Oh,
24:29 that's the alternator gun." I just I just know[ __]
24:31 That's the land mine I've just driven over.
24:35 Yeah.
24:35 __] hell.
24:36 I was looking at um Yeah, there was a Discovery,
24:38 a Land Rover Defender all taken apart and it
24:41 did have um a roof mounted[ __] LMG.
24:46 So, that's a that's a genuine 50 cal on top of there.
24:50 Really?
24:51 Yeah.
24:50 It's a genuine 50 cal.
24:52 Got the certificate to say it's decommissioned.
24:54 Yeah, that's a genuine gold.
24:55 Genuine 50 cal.
24:56 Have you ever been pulled over in that?
24:58 Loads of times.
24:58 Has it got number plates and everything?
25:00 Yeah.
25:00 Yeah, it's very legal.
25:00 What does the V5 say?
25:02 The beast.
25:04 Uh, it doesn't say it's a tank, weirdly enough.
25:06 It just says it's like I forget the name
25:08 of the It's like a brand that makes the tank,
25:11 but yeah, the V5, you wouldn't think it's a tank.
25:13 Yeah.
25:13 Yeah.
25:14 Normal car.
25:15 Yeah.
25:15 Yeah.
25:16 And then you got a smaller tank out front as well.
25:18 Maybe we can put a picture of it.
25:19 What's that one?
25:20 As if the big tank weren't enough.
25:21 So this is this is um an Abbott.
25:24 So that's like a tank destroyer.
25:25 So that's about 20 ton really.
25:27 And that's accurate to about 11 miles.
25:29 That's like a proper that's a proper war machine.
25:32 And then the smaller tank, that's a CBRT.
25:34 And that's more of um it's more of like a get in get out tank that does 70 mph.
25:40 __] hell.
25:40 It's[ __] rapid.
25:41 And that's more for getting infantry in and out of battles very quickly.
25:44 You know, it's got a cannon, but it's more it's more for getting moving troops
25:50 on the ground.
25:50 And then you got the big beast out front as well, which is[ __] big.
25:53 It actually tanks the tanks.
25:54 Yeah.
25:54 Yeah.
25:55 But uh we got a big Ram truck out front as well.
25:57 I was looking at an I might get an F150.
25:59 I[ __] love them, man.
26:00 But like American imported, you know,
26:02 not these Ranger Raptors in uh that we get in the UK.
26:04 Yeah.
26:04 So that's that's the equivalent of the F350, right?
26:08 Yeah.
26:08 That's like the equivalent.
26:09 Yeah.
26:09 So the F-150 is a bit like um like a Raptor, in it.
26:12 Yeah.
26:12 Yeah.
26:12 Yeah.
26:14 Yeah.
26:13 But Raptors are not they look Yeah, bro.
26:16 It's made for you.
26:17 The American Raptors are[ __] mint.
26:18 Like massive engines.
26:19 The impact ones like two liter turbos.
26:21 They[ __] shite.
26:22 Yeah.
26:23 Couldn't pull my[ __] foreskin back.
26:25 You[ __] wank.
26:26 What's a What's a this big tank like on petrol?
26:29 What's a full tank on that?
26:30 What's a full tank on the tank, Eddie?
26:31 Uh it's like 600 liter capacity and it's about a mile a mile a liter.
26:36 So it's four miles to the gallon.
26:38 How much is a full tank?
26:40 __] hell.
26:41 I mean right now probably 13,400 quid.
26:44 __] hell.
26:45 Tank.
26:45 Yeah.
26:46 But that's got a 600 mile range on it.
26:48 So drive 600 miles on that.
26:50 Yeah.
26:51 Still though for 1,300.
26:52 Yeah.
26:52 Yeah.
26:53 Could fly 600 miles for less.
26:55 You've had some You've had some funny moments online.
26:58 There was where we are now, a family pulled up and they tried it.
27:03 I think they only wanted the photo already.
27:05 Why'd you do that?
27:06 Yeah.
27:06 You couldn't.
27:08 It was nice.
27:09 I just give them the picture.
27:11 Yeah.
27:11 Yeah.
27:11 Yeah.
27:11 Well, look, man.
27:12 I'm not here a lot.
27:13 Okay.
27:13 That was a big moment, by the way.
27:14 I must say it was a big moment, right?
27:16 And I'm I'm not here a lot.
27:17 And here from all honesty, you know,
27:19 I I I sleep in a different property a lot of the time
27:22 for a lot of reasons.
27:23 And I just happened to be here.
27:24 I was having a I was I was by that fire pit there
27:27 having a cigar with my son and I heard all this[ __] beeping.
27:30 I ignored it.
27:31 I was like, "Whatever, you get it.
27:32 People beep going past the house all the[ __]
27:34 time." And then uh Alex came out and said,
27:38 "Look, there's been some guys at the front.
27:39 They've been there 20 minutes.
27:40 I've asked them to leave three times.
27:42 Like they won't[ __] go.
27:43 Like they've been rude to me." And I just I just sat there.
27:47 This happens all the time, man.
27:49 Where people come
27:50 a bit of a especially for a town where you know where we are.
27:52 This is probably the biggest thing they've got going
27:55 other than the sainsburries that looks like
27:56 a well your sainsburries looks like an airport.
27:58 Yeah.
27:59 So it was like, you know, I was just fed up of people taking liberties.
28:03 Yeah.
28:03 You know, just knocking on, oh, can I have a picture?
28:05 And every time I'm like, look, man,
28:06 this is this is like some of a meet and greet or some bodybuilding expo.
28:11 And I refuse.
28:11 Point blank.
28:12 No, I don't do pictures anywhere near the house.
28:14 People drive by.
28:14 Oh, can I have a picture?
28:16 Like, no, mate.
28:16 This is my[ __]
28:17 Cuz you're you're you're letting people know that it's okay, is it?
28:20 Right.
28:21 And these[ __] just wouldn't let it go.
28:23 So, I just took a deep breath and I was like,
28:26 I'm not even going to give these guys
28:27 the[ __] justification to tell me why they're here.
28:30 I just went down
28:32 and I was just open I just opened the door.
28:33 I was like, mate, just[ __] off.
28:36 Yeah.
28:35 He's but but I don't[ __] care what you've got to say.
28:38 I don't care who the[ __] you are.
28:40 Just[ __] go.
28:41 And then I moved on to the next car.
28:43 He drove off.
28:45 And then the last car,
28:47 that[ __] just arguing with me, so I just want a picture of my kids.
28:50 I says, "Well, you're[ __] you're beeping your[ __] horn.
28:53 My kids are in.
28:54 __] it.
28:54 What about my[ __] kids?" True.
28:56 Anyway, so __] off, whatever.
28:58 And then he just he he started creeping away.
29:00 Just as he started creeping away, he looked me dead in the eyes.
29:03 He was like, "I'm going to knock you the[ __] out." And I just saw Red.
29:09 I was just like, you know what?
29:10 Like,[ __] this.
29:11 You're having it.
29:12 So, I chase after him and um and one of the[ __] was
29:16 filming out of his window and I spotted him and I thought, "Right,
29:20 I'm going to grab that[ __] phone and I charged
29:23 at him just and I mean just missed the[ __]
29:25 phone and he managed to get away and then literally
29:29 an hour later so like someone sent me a[ __] message.
29:32 One of my close pals was like, "Mate, have you seen the[ __][ __] online?"
29:37 This is when they spun the narrative.
29:38 And this was like an hour later.
29:39 The son had had it on their[ __] page.
29:42 Had something like 20 million views.
29:44 __] hell.
29:44 And every They did make you look bad.
29:46 Every single comment was like, "Oh my god, Eddie Hall scaring kids,
29:50 chasing people down the street." It just made it look
29:53 like I just sat on these people for no reason whatsoever.
29:57 The narrative was Eddie Hall's a[ __] Basically agreed
30:00 for two days.
30:01 True.
30:01 Yeah.
30:02 And then I sat on my on my ass for a day and my brother
30:05 rung me up and he's cuz he's he's head of like all my all my companies.
30:08 Okay.
30:09 And he's like, "Ed, I've got to tell you something." He's like,
30:12 "I've seen what's I've just let you stew on it, but I'll tell you now.
30:14 Like, you've not had a single order today on your website." And I was like,
30:17 "What?" He's like, "You are being."
30:19 He's like, "You are being cancelled.
30:21 Like, no one will buy any of your stuff because it looks
30:23 like you[ __] scared a load of kids and threatened some people unnecessarily."
30:27 So, I was like, "Fuck this." So, I spent[ __] all night digging all my CCTV.
30:31 Sent it off to an editor.
30:32 I was just, mate, I just[ __] just saved the day, please.
30:35 And he edited it all together.
30:36 And I watched it back and I was like,
30:38 "You[ __] bastards." They were literally sat out there
30:40 for 20 m 20 minutes beeping their[ __] horn constantly.
30:45 Alex went down, asked them to leave twice.
30:47 They were like telling her to[ __] off and all sorts.
30:50 So I was like, you know what?
30:51 You actually got off lightly.
30:52 They[ __] did.
30:54 Like really did.
30:55 But it it it and then it completely flipped on its head.
30:57 It's like, oh Eddie's a hero.
30:59 Like[ __] fair.
31:00 But I'd have done the same.
31:01 Ding ding ding my[ __] sales picked up again.
31:05 Thank god.
31:05 Well, I I honestly I was like, "Oh,[ __] it." I was like,
31:08 "It won't[ __] get any traction." And it just blew up.
31:10 Yeah.
31:11 It's mad cuz you're you're at home minding
31:12 your business and problems still come to you.
31:14 You know what I mean, man?
31:15 It It's just unreal.
31:16 But I tell you what, since that day, right, I've not had a[ __] single
31:21 not one single[ __] person
31:23 has[ __] rung my gate or knocked on my door for a picture.
31:25 Not a[ __] one.
31:27 So, thank you to you[ __][ __] stalkers for doing that.
31:31 Did me a[ __] favor.
31:32 Yeah.
31:32 __] hell, man.
31:33 So, you reckon you can swim now?
31:36 Yeah, I'm a good I I swim um four times
31:40 a week for my train from my fight camp at the minute.
31:43 Okay.
31:42 So, I'm in the pool a lot right now.
31:46 So, Oh, you're you're training.
31:47 We're going to come on to the fight, but you're you have to swim for fighting.
31:49 Yeah.
31:50 Yeah.
31:50 So, I mean, look, fighting's fighting.
31:53 Like, you got to do your fight training, but then you've got to get fit.
31:56 And I can't run.
31:58 It's too big.
31:58 So, the best thing for me to do for cardio is swimming.
32:01 It's the next
32:01 big for nothing.
32:03 What do you mean you also What do you mean you can't run?
32:05 Did you see Did you see you chasing them poor kids?
32:08 You asked me for run like any more than a mile.
32:10 My hips start disint.
32:12 Oh yeah, I I can't do a mile.
32:13 I'm about 10 meters and I tap out.
32:15 What's it What's in the uh is that the is that the the AB blue for your tank?
32:20 What you drinking there?
32:20 We're on the electrolytes here.
32:21 Oh, nice.
32:22 Yeah.
32:22 You got your own beast uh electrolytes, right?
32:25 I've just started taking creatine.
32:28 Yeah, it's the best thing I've ever done.
32:28 But but I dry scoop it.
32:30 Apparently, you shouldn't, mate.
32:32 __] snort your bum off if you want to.
32:34 Sweet, mate.
32:34 I I went in the gym.
32:35 Listen to this.
32:36 55 kg on bench pressing now.
32:38 Oh,[ __] That's good, man.
32:39 Mate, I couldn't even do this time last year.
32:42 I could couldn't do shopping bags,
32:44 but uh I've noticed a difference with creatine.
32:46 I'm about two weeks in.
32:47 I'm just[ __]
32:49 boy, I'm going in.
32:50 So, uh watch out.
32:52 Watch out, Edward.
32:53 Yeah, my my 13year-old son can barge past 120 kilos.
32:56 Yeah.
32:56 Well, you know, Yeah.
32:58 Well, yeah.
32:59 Yeah.
32:59 Well, how about I just knock him out?
33:00 Yeah.
33:00 I I I genuinely think he'd knock you out to be fair.
33:04 __]
33:03 He's a big bastard.
33:04 17 stone.
33:05 He's a big[ __]
33:06 __] know.
33:06 He's got the Hercules gene as well.
33:08 You know what?
33:09 I don't actually We did the testing from memory.
33:10 I don't think he has, but um it was in my jeans.
33:14 I've got another gene.
33:15 I forget what the[ __] it was called, but Levis's.
33:20 It's the here all day, bro.
33:22 Yeah.
33:22 Yeah.
33:22 So, I've got a gene like I I really I really
33:25 struggle to get the lactic buildup as what other people do.
33:28 So I can do like more reps for longer, right?
33:31 So my endurance is a lot better than everybody else.
33:33 And that mixed with the Hercules gene is like a like a perfect
33:37 What what is the test for a Hercules gene?
33:40 So Hercules gene is everything big.
33:42 So Hercules gene, right?
33:43 So you have to go and get a DNA test
33:46 and you specifically want to test for the MSTN gene.
33:50 Okay?
33:50 Right.
33:50 And have you ever seen the Belgian blue cows?
33:52 So cows with muscles on muscles and muscles like huge.
33:56 They've got a deformity.
33:57 It's called the MSTN type 2 and there they basically got a myostatin deficiency.
34:02 And myostatin is a hormone that limits how much muscle mass your body can hold.
34:07 If that myostatin doesn't exist,
34:09 your body doesn't know when to stop putting on muscle.
34:12 So you just pile muscle on and on and on.
34:15 So I've got the type one, which is like the lesser of the two,
34:20 right?
34:19 Um but basically my skeleton can hold a lot more muscle than any other skeleton.
34:23 It's just just the way just the way the jeans work.
34:26 Yeah.
34:26 Does that impact you later on in life when you're elderly?
34:30 I think it's it's all down to how you control it, you know.
34:33 So, if I lift weights and and carried on eating loads of food,
34:36 I'd probably just keep getting bigger and bigger.
34:38 And if I eat less and do less weights, it it sort of subesises, you know.
34:41 This will sound madier, but you know,
34:42 all the heavy weight lifting you do cuz on the World Strong Man, is it 500 kg?
34:47 You said you you lifted.
34:49 Mhm.
34:49 And in the gym, you said you can deadlift 90 kg.
34:54 No, sorry.
34:55 190.
34:56 You got the mentality of a[ __] 5-year-old sometimes.
34:58 I swear.
34:59 Oh, really?
35:00 I didn't know.
35:00 I didn't see that after watching a[ __] every episode of
35:03 Intellect of a[ __] toddler.
35:05 Listen, you Darth prick.
35:08 Sorry.
35:08 Uh, no, not 90.
35:10 Obviously, it will be 90.
35:11 A ton.
35:12 A ton.
35:12 So, the most I've ever done in the gym is 455.
35:15 Okay.
35:16 And then, yeah, I did 500 on on a in a in a competition on a platform.
35:19 Right.
35:20 So, can that not stunt growth?
35:24 No.
35:24 You're not going to have like a an arched spine?
35:27 I think look, I think lifting weights it will shrink you.
35:31 But I I think you get that with old age anyway.
35:33 Yeah.
35:33 You know, people look like your spine compresses.
35:36 Everyone hits a peak and as they get older that the the spine compresses anyway.
35:40 I said genu I was a genuine Did you put the urgent on?
35:46 __]
35:45 Is it good?
35:45 So I was a genuine 6' three at one point
35:48 in my life and I'm like just over 62 and a half.
35:51 Really?
35:51 Yeah.
35:51 Yeah.
35:51 So I've chunk half an inch and that's that's gen I've lost half an inch.
35:54 I think that's the hair
35:55 probably.
35:56 Yeah.
35:57 I like the hair.
35:57 Thanks man.
35:58 What made you do it like that?
35:59 I've had a mohawk since I was like 89.
36:03 That's not a mohawk Edward.
36:04 That is a skid mark.
36:06 Little skid mark there.
36:06 I've had a skid mark since I was eight frosting a big bit dick in there for you.
36:11 Is it bigger?
36:13 Um, it was crazy.
36:16 That was[ __] insane.
36:17 It was like a[ __] salmon.
36:20 That's the only way to describe it.
36:21 It was like coming up for it.
36:22 It was like a[ __] salmon like got hold of a[ __] pipe and like
36:27 it was[ __] beautiful.
36:28 I clean that up, mate.
36:30 You did clean it up.
36:30 It was good.
36:31 Oh, bro.
36:32 You make a great day.
36:34 __] great game.
36:35 You're my bear.
36:36 Is that what they call it?
36:37 Yeah.
36:37 Mike says, "Oh, __] gobble that dick like a pro, mate.
36:40 I mean, look, sometimes, you know, when there's 10 grand on the what's it?
36:44 You you seen that video, the kids, it's like, I'm not gay, but $20 is 20, bro.
36:47 I'm not gay, but 10K is 10K.
36:50 Exactly.
36:49 You know what it was?
36:50 It wasn't even the money.
36:51 It was the fact that I didn't want to let my team down.
36:53 I didn't want to be the one.
36:55 That was like That was the best clip of the show.
36:57 Yeah.
36:57 By a mile.
36:57 By a mile.
36:58 That was the best clip of the show.
36:59 Like, everyone in the room would like was just in like belly laughing.
37:03 Yeah.
37:03 Every single p like old people,[ __] women, every single person.
37:07 There was cuz on a team I mean this is
37:10 you know behind the scenes it is a big operation.
37:12 Yeah.
37:12 So when we do the challenges there's about 20 30 people mate
37:16 as that dick was like advancing
37:19 you know what I mean in and out and I just saw more people coming from like
37:22 outside viewing gallery and just it's like we have to be in the studio for this.
37:26 It's a moment.
37:26 It's a moment.
37:27 I want I wonder where that dick is now.
37:29 Also an eating challenge that is just straight
37:31 cartilage is[ __] unfair when AB gets chocolate cake.
37:35 It was rough, man.
37:35 That was It was rough.
37:36 Yeah.
37:37 A bit like it was a big dick as well.
37:39 I know.
37:39 I know.
37:39 Well, I don't know.
37:40 I don't know the dicks that you've seen, Eddie.
37:41 But for me, that was way below average.
37:44 Yeah.
37:44 Well, in in terms of eating dicks, it was a big dick.
37:47 But can you Is that I mean, butchers do people cuz it was boiled.
37:51 I think it must have been And there was a hair coming out the[ __] tip.
37:54 Yeah.
37:54 __] hell.
37:55 It was rough, man.
37:55 I felt for you.
37:56 It was rough.
37:57 No, but you did the right thing.
37:58 I think if you' have ate that, you would have
37:59 You can't You can't, mate.
38:00 You can't You can't It looked[ __] chewy as well.
38:03 Yeah.
38:03 Yeah.
38:03 Just straight literally cartilage.
38:05 Yeah.
38:05 Yeah.
38:05 Fair enough.
38:06 Beef[ __] Beef gum.
38:08 Beef dripping chips.
38:09 You've done other like strongman[ __] You've done the whole pulling planes.
38:12 Uh you've done a truck.
38:14 Have you flipped a car before?
38:15 Yeah, I flipped a car.
38:16 Yeah.
38:17 Um
38:19 do you remember the old Citroen C2s?
38:21 I think the old
38:22 They're like like an old VW Bonnet kind of thing.
38:24 Yeah.
38:25 Flipped one of them over.
38:26 I see one of them the other day.
38:27 You know, still going them.
38:29 Yeah.
38:29 The[ __] French very It's just You look at that.
38:32 Yeah.
38:33 And then we used to pick up used to like stand in cars
38:36 and pick them up and run with them.
38:38 No way.
38:38 That is a Volkswagen Beetle.
38:41 Sick.
38:41 Yeah.
38:41 Yeah.
38:41 Like harished up, pick it up in the middle and then like Fred.
38:44 Oh, mate.
38:44 What?
38:45 Oh, is it little little tikes?
38:46 What them things?
38:47 You know the red and yellow cars that kids used.
38:49 Yeah.
38:49 Yeah.
38:50 I've got one somewhere.
38:51 Yeah.
38:52 __] hell.
38:53 Pick up a beetle.
38:54 Yeah.
38:54 And what about pulling the plane?
38:55 Tell me about that because that is
38:57 so the planes the planes are a specialty because
39:01 I mean the planes we pull somewhere around the 50 to 60 70,000 pounds.
39:07 Yeah.
39:06 You know we're talking like 30 plus ton.
39:08 The planes are[ __] heavy things.
39:11 Yeah.
39:10 And I'll be honest, there's no human on the planet that can pull a plane.
39:13 Yeah.
39:14 There is doesn't exist.
39:15 Right.
39:15 So what they do in the strongman contests is they put a very
39:18 very very slight decline on it just so you can get it going
39:22 and then it's who can get it the furthest so
39:24 it flattens out and it's who can get it the furthest.
39:26 So that's how they do it basically.
39:28 But um yeah, it's tough, man.
39:30 Like there's no other way to train for it other
39:32 than to get harnessed up, get a big[ __] HGV.
39:35 Yeah.
39:35 And pull it off the street.
39:36 That's literally how you train for
39:38 Well, you that that was your training for that.
39:40 Yeah.
39:40 Yeah.
39:40 I would go to skip companies like, you know, pick up skips and whatever.
39:43 Can I just borrow a truck and just pull it
39:45 outside the business and just pull it up the street?
39:47 That's how I train for it.
39:48 __] hell.
39:50 Yeah.
39:49 Any of them snap?
39:51 No.
39:52 A lorry free free falling back down.
39:54 the Yeah.
39:55 Yeah.
39:55 Your road.
39:56 No, you was I was the one in the driving seat.
39:57 Yeah.
39:58 Mad.
39:58 So, what did you get the plane the furthest?
40:01 Uh, I think the the the year I won I was the I came third.
40:04 Third.
40:04 Yeah.
40:05 Yeah.
40:05 So, it's like And we finished 25 m.
40:07 Quickest 25 m and I was like.5 of a second, half a second off winning, but then
40:13 Well, there's a pilot up there.
40:14 Handbreaks off.
40:15 Yeah.
40:15 Yeah.
40:16 __] sick, man.
40:17 Yeah.
40:17 Yeah.
40:17 What else have you pulled?
40:19 __] a
40:22 birds.
40:22 Yeah.
40:22 Yeah.
40:22 One thing he hasn't.
40:23 Funny that, eh?
40:24 Funny.
40:24 All this strong man bollocks.
40:26 Yeah.
40:26 Well, at the end of the day here.
40:30 When's When's the last time you pulled a bit?
40:32 Thursday.
40:34 Thursday.
40:33 Yeah.
40:33 __] 2004.
40:36 Is there anything that you haven't achieved that you're
40:38 kind of pissed about cuz you've won inside now.
40:40 You've won you've done you've done UK strongest.
40:42 You said six years in a row.
40:44 You've done what?
40:44 You're world's strongest man.
40:46 Did you do that just one?
40:47 I mean, once and that's it.
40:48 You get that title.
40:48 Yeah.
40:48 Yeah.
40:48 I won it once.
40:49 came third one year, the year before, then won it and got out.
40:53 Yeah.
40:53 You retired the next day, you said.
40:55 Is there anything that you've wanted to do and you've not been able to?
40:59 So, I'm working towards another goal now.
41:00 So, I'm So, I'm getting into this fight game.
41:02 I did I did an MMA match in Poland.
41:04 Ah, mate.
41:05 Are we not talking about Yes, bro.
41:07 Yeah.
41:07 So, that that was a good match
41:08 cuz I fought Marius Pnosowski who formidable fighter.
41:12 He fought for a European title not too long ago.
41:14 So, he was like top dog, you know, not not[ __] not to be messed with anyway.
41:18 and I beat him in 27 seconds, whatever it was.
41:22 And I've got like I quite fancy the MMA game cuz
41:27 really with the MMA, boxing,
41:29 boxing is tough cuz like the bigger and stronger
41:30 you are in boxing almost the more it hinders you,
41:33 you know, because muscles don't mean[ __] all in the boxing fight.
41:36 Whereas of MMA, bigger they are, harder they fall.
41:38 Yeah.
41:39 But with MMA, strength is a massive advantage.
41:42 Yeah.
41:42 Like when you're grappling, if someone's stronger than you,
41:44 they've got a huge advantage.
41:46 So my strength in MMA sounds daft is my strength.
41:49 And if I get you on the floor like with that Marius,
41:52 I I just held him down with one arm.
41:55 He couldn't move and I just put my weight
41:56 onto him and just smashed him in the head.
41:59 But he he genuinely he was trying to get away from me.
42:01 He just couldn't get away and I was just pinning him down with one arm.
42:04 27 seconds.
42:06 So I I feel like MMA is something like I really want to get stuck into.
42:09 And I I've said it to my team.
42:11 I I quite fancy at the end of this like win, lose or draw.
42:15 Just fight for a[ __] wheel title.
42:17 Really?
42:17 Yeah.
42:17 Yeah.
42:18 Just like go all out like a Europe Europe title, a will title.
42:21 Just go for a[ __] like the hardest[ __] I can think of.
42:24 Right.
42:24 Let's have a[ __] scrap.
42:25 Who Who's the hardest[ __] in the MMA world now?
42:29 So Tom Aspenol would be number one of course.
42:31 He's just Did he quit?
42:32 Did he quit UFC?
42:33 He just cut his ties.
42:34 Yeah.
42:35 Um we got like people like Francis and Ganu.
42:38 Um we got KSW Euro.
42:41 He's like the he's the world world title in KSW.
42:43 Phil the freeze.
42:45 So like something something like that, you know, just go in last fight.
42:48 Let's just have a[ __] let's have a round win or lose.
42:50 Put my hands up.
42:51 Do the best.
42:52 I mean I just imagine if I won that though.
42:54 Oh mate, that would be unreal.
42:55 Like just be[ __] unreal.
42:56 Like
42:57 but you you're saying your strength is your strength in uh in MMA.
43:01 Yeah.
43:02 But some of these guys I mean some of these fights I watch, bro, they're nimble
43:05 and they're rapid.
43:06 They're moving.
43:07 They're mantling stuff.
43:08 I don't you're you're big.
43:10 You are I saying you're like a Clash of Clans character.
43:13 You're like the giant or the hog rider.
43:16 It's um Are you Are you interesting one?
43:18 Cuz I I I I my I've really learned how to kickbox this last couple of years.
43:23 Like you can't kick high.
43:24 I can head kick.
43:24 No, you can't.
43:25 I can kick you in the head.
43:26 No[ __] problem.
43:27 But you wouldn't.
43:27 Would you Eddie?
43:28 I wouldn't.
43:29 I wouldn't.
43:29 But I could.
43:31 N you can't.
43:31 Mate, your your leg is your foot is not reaching above your waist,
43:35 mate.
43:36 I've done like spinning cresant kicks and all sorts.
43:39 I can I can head kick, man.
43:40 Dangerous as well.
43:42 So, like that's come on.
43:43 And then the gra like I'm just working real.
43:45 Obviously, not at the minute.
43:45 I'm in this box boxing camp, but like the grappling I really enjoy really
43:50 because it's it's it's I'm just such a huge guy.
43:52 I've got very experienced guys, you know, black belt and jiu-jitsu.
43:55 Yeah.
43:55 Yeah.
43:55 Yeah.
43:56 I start I do a bit of jiu-jitsu
43:58 and you know, I'm grappling with these guys
44:00 and they're not getting the better of me.
44:01 You know, they cannot they cannot tap me They just
44:04 I mean they belly wrap their legs around your calves.
44:06 This is the problem.
44:07 This is the problem.
44:07 It's like I'm not a normal human.
44:09 Flex a muscle and they're spazzing.
44:10 I'm not a normal human.
44:11 Even a big fighter in the MMA world's like 120 kilo.
44:14 I'm 160.
44:16 Who?
44:17 __]
44:17 So it's it's a different it's a different ball game.
44:19 And you said you got good stamina.
44:21 Yeah.
44:21 Yeah.
44:21 Yeah.
44:22 Yeah.
44:22 I pay good money to be an MMA an Eddie Hall MMA fight.
44:29 Exactly.
44:28 Have you reached out to Dana White?
44:31 That can't be impossible.
44:32 There's been a few conversations.
44:34 The UFC is off the cards cuz the weight limit is 260 lbs and I'm like 360.
44:38 __] hell.
44:38 I was even talking with the, you know, the bare knuckle the Conor
44:41 McGra.
44:42 Yeah.
44:42 Yeah.
44:43 So they I would love to see you on Power Slap.
44:45 So they're doing the 25 million pound
44:47 tournament in bare knuckle bare knuckle fighting, right?
44:51 And it was like an eliminator.
44:53 So you'd like you'd fight one and then you
44:54 get to the semi-finals and the quarterfinal and then
44:56 you'd go into the like the final and the final one if you win it's 15 million.
45:01 And I was like, "Fucking sign me up for that bad
45:03 boy." So I put my name down for it.
45:05 And then they put a weight limit on that at 260 pounds.
45:07 And I was like, "What the fuck?" And the title is the baddest man on the planet.
45:11 So I sent the[ __] an email.
45:12 How the[ __] can you say it's the baddest
45:14 man on the planet with a[ __] weight limit?
45:17 It's so[ __] wank.
45:19 Yeah, I reckon uh that's I think the weight
45:21 limit is purely to not have you in there.
45:24 They know that you're going to[ __] cost them.
45:25 Well, I I think it's I think it's
45:27 to entice all the the lighterweight world champions,
45:30 you know, like people like Mike Perry who only weighs like 210,
45:33 220 or whatever, right?
45:34 People like him come on board and then it makes it a bit more fun, doesn't it?
45:37 Like a a lightweight versus a middleweight versus a heavyweight.
45:40 Okay.
45:40 And then but if you got Mike Perry against someone like me,
45:44 you know, 220 versus a 360, it's like[ __] hell.
45:46 That's that's a dangerous fight.
45:48 So yeah, I've kind of
45:49 I guess why I knew why they've done it,
45:50 but it was a bit[ __] to have that like and I read it online.
45:53 I was like, "What the[ __] is this[ __] shite?"
45:56 Well, if there are any uh what they call them, leagues, titles,
45:59 if anyone would like to take off their weight limit
46:03 to have Eddie Hall in the in the in the ring in the octagon or whatever it is,
46:08 this thing like KSW didn't[ __] care.
46:10 They'll have me on and but UFC won't.
46:13 This is, you know, it's just weird.
46:14 Weird.
46:15 So, your fight coming up, man like Tommy Fury.
46:20 Yeah.
46:19 Please fold that[ __] Please.
46:22 He's such a[ __] gimpony, huh?
46:27 Is that what you think?
46:28 Oh, mate.
46:30 Come on.
46:31 I think Tommy's a nice lad.
46:32 He's a good lad.
46:33 Yeah, I think you're a bit of a[ __] in that vest.
46:35 Thanks, man.
46:37 Uh, just joking.
46:39 Uh, yeah, he is a[ __] though.
46:41 He is, mate.
46:42 What are you talking about?
46:43 Like,[ __]
46:44 You call him a[ __] all you want.
46:45 I mean, the man's made millions.
46:47 Yeah, I do respect that.
46:48 Got a[ __] very, very good-looking wife.
46:50 Two, one kid.
46:51 one kid on the way.
46:52 You know, when you talk about who's winning in life, he's[ __] winning.
46:55 No, definitely.
46:56 You can't hate on that.
46:57 You can't hate on that.
46:57 You can't
46:58 agree.
46:58 What's the uh what was what's the what
47:00 was the thinking behind the Tommy Fury fight?
47:03 So, genuinely, it it came up out of the[ __] blue.
47:06 It was not orchestrated in the slightest.
47:08 I was having a back and forth with John Fury.
47:11 Okay.
47:11 The dad.
47:12 Yeah.
47:13 And um he's got a he's got a[ __] temper on him.
47:15 I know, mate.
47:16 He's the star of the show.
47:16 He takes over them press conference.
47:18 He's got a temper on him.
47:19 And it was all through like exchanges online on Instagram.
47:23 Okay.
47:23 And I just in the end, what was he saying to you, mate?
47:26 It's it's just basically like you can't beat any of the Furies cuz I I
47:30 really wanted cuz I've seen Tyson Fury was
47:32 putting MMA training up and I was like,
47:34 "Oh, really?
47:34 Yeah, that would be a good fancy me versus Tyson Fury in MMA." Like boxing,
47:38 he would[ __] destroy but MMA.
47:40 I read that you kind of I think[ __] I think I'd[ __] do him in MMA.
47:44 So, I was like trying to lure that in.
47:46 Um, and then John's like, "You couldn't[ __] beat any of us furies.
47:49 Get out your[ __] head." And then before I know it,
47:51 I've literally got a contract under my nose to fight Tommy Fury.
47:54 And I'm like,
47:56 straight away I ring Tommy up and I'm like, I wanted to go like, "What?
47:59 Like, do you want to do this?" He wouldn't answer the[ __] phone.
48:02 So, I'm sending him a message.
48:03 He's like, "Mate, is this for real?
48:04 Like, do you want to[ __] reply to me
48:06 and I was like, okay, he wants to[ __] do it." So, here we go.
48:09 I'm[ __] Tommy Fury.
48:10 It was genuinely
48:11 Oh, you're calling him on like, "Are you sure?"
48:13 I was[ __] shocked.
48:15 Oh, you're you're you're trying to give him welfare chats,
48:17 saying you might not want to do this, bro.
48:19 I genuinely was, though.
48:20 I genuinely was like like Tommy, do you really want to do this?
48:24 Like I thought we were pals and he's it seems
48:26 as though and this is the thing with the Furies the
48:29 It can still be friendly though.
48:30 They're quite sensitive, aren't they?
48:31 The Furies.
48:32 Look at John.
48:32 __] me.
48:33 You say something slightly out out of tune and he's[ __] trying to headbutt you.
48:38 Um and it seems as though, you know,
48:39 you fall out with the dad, you fall out of everybody.
48:41 So I fell out with John and that's it.
48:43 All the furies[ __] hate me now.
48:44 __] them all, bro.
48:45 __] them all.
48:46 __] them all.
48:46 Line them all up.
48:47 Line them all up, bro.
48:48 I will knock Who can I knock out?
48:50 __] hell.
48:51 __] it, Molly.
48:52 Tommy's daughter.
48:53 Yeah.
48:53 Yeah.
48:53 Bambi.
48:54 Off you go.
48:55 Oh,[ __] Who's that in the air?
48:57 It's Bambi.
48:59 Can you Well, you've got Tommy here.
49:01 I'd like to think so, mate.
49:02 I think
49:02 he's a good boxer, though.
49:03 He is a very good boxer.
49:04 And you can't you can't sleep on Tommy.
49:06 You can't,
49:06 you know, you got to look at his fights.
49:07 He's won everyone.
49:08 He's 11 and0.
49:09 Um, and then you got to look at the AJ and Jake Paul fight.
49:12 J Paul although lost he I mean to last six rounds with AJ was[ __] impressive
49:17 and he landed some big hits and you got to think
49:21 honestly if them hits just like another like two inches on the end
49:24 of his chin a bit more power he'd have[ __] rocked AJ 100%.
49:28 And that's where the that's where I think this has stem from as well.
49:31 It's like that David versus Goliath every[ __] watch that fight
49:36 and that's why I think the me versus Tommy is kind of like the same.
49:38 It's like it's really interesting.
49:40 Tommy's got the skill, hands down, he's got the skill on me all day long,
49:44 but I've got that that power.
49:45 I think they got to[ __] jab you hard
49:47 on the chin and you're going to sleep, you know?
49:49 But it's it's making that connection and that's
49:50 where the that's where the fun bit comes in.
49:53 So, what's training looking like at at the moment?
49:56 Very intense.
49:57 So, I'm fight training four times a week.
49:58 I'm swimming four times a week.
50:00 Doing sounds a bit lame, but I'm doing like fast walks.
50:02 That's the That's the best cardio I can do.
50:05 Hey, man.
50:06 I'm overtaking joggers when I'm walking, I tell you.
50:08 Are you doing the hip the hip walk?
50:10 Yeah.
50:10 So, like proper You've seen the Malcolm in the middle
50:12 when he does the when he does the walking.
50:15 He's getting the Yeah, that's me with a weighted vest on.
50:17 Yeah.
50:17 __] weighted vest and all.
50:18 As if the[ __] don't weigh 160 kg as it is.
50:21 Let me just add on weight.
50:22 You had a fight before, in it, and you were massive then.
50:25 You was even bigger.
50:25 It was up.
50:26 Was it another Was it the the four guy?
50:29 The mountain.
50:30 Yeah.
50:30 Yeah.
50:30 Yeah.
50:30 You lost that, right?
50:31 I did.
50:32 Yeah.
50:32 Haha.
50:32 Yeah.
50:33 Cheers.
50:33 Yeah.
50:33 Couldn't move a mountain, could you?
50:34 Yeah.
50:36 Couldn't.
50:35 Yeah.
50:35 can mop me up on the You can mop me up in the inside shot, but yeah, you can't
50:39 mop you up this tournament.
50:40 My bad.
50:41 Yeah.
50:41 Yeah.
50:43 __] big for nothing.
50:44 Yeah.
50:45 Went in that ring and lost.
50:46 No, you can't you can't lose this one.
50:48 Oh, mate.
50:49 Can you imagine if Tommy Fury knocked you out?
50:51 Oh, that would be a wounder.
50:53 Oh my goodness.
50:54 That would be a wound.
50:55 Oh no.
50:55 We can't have that.
50:56 Do not do that.
50:57 I think it could happen.
50:58 No, no, no, no, no.
50:59 It's not going to happen.
50:59 We're not going to jinx it.
51:00 That's the fight game.
51:01 And you know what?
51:01 It takes balls to go in with with the[ __] chance of that happening.
51:06 I don't care.
51:06 I don't care who you are.
51:07 It takes bollocks any man to get in the ring and have a fight with somebody.
51:10 It takes bolts.
51:11 Takes What did you think of Andrew Tate for fight?
51:14 I thought that was a bit disappointing.
51:16 I thought that
51:17 Did that look like a world a four times world kickboxing champion to you?
51:21 It did, mate.
51:22 And and you know what?
51:22 I kept I watching it.
51:23 I watched it and I was like, you know what?
51:25 10 years ago, Tate would have[ __] absolutely destroyed him.
51:28 Two minutes flat.
51:30 Yeah.
51:31 100%.
51:31 Where there's a few factors there.
51:32 Not fought for such a long time.
51:34 massive adrenaline dump.
51:35 I don't think his sparring was obviously up to up to standard.
51:38 I think he had easy sparring leading into that.
51:40 It just didn't look like he he'd had any good scraps, you know?
51:43 I think he he got chinned a few times and he
51:46 Yeah, I don't know if you've done any sparring,
51:47 but when you get hit once hard and sparring, if you not had that for a while,
51:51 it's like[ __] it can make you go weaken the legs, make your arms drop.
51:54 And I just think he I think and there's loads of stuff against him.
51:57 He's obviously had all that court[ __] been in jail.
51:59 Yeah.
51:59 And like he came up with all these things excuses, but that's genuine.
52:04 You think?
52:05 Yeah.
52:05 Like you go[ __] jail for two years and see
52:07 how see how you feel when you come out.
52:08 See how your body is.
52:09 Take you two years to[ __] recover from that.
52:12 Agreed.
52:12 Yeah.
52:13 Yeah.
52:13 I got a friend who's in at the moment.
52:16 __] into his calis calisthenics bodybuilding.
52:19 Wham, mate.
52:19 He's been in for about six months and he's just looks like[ __]
52:22 It's like a raisin.
52:24 Yeah.
52:23 Yeah.
52:23 It's a jail's no[ __] joke, man.
52:26 You're in there.
52:27 You're in there to be punished.
52:28 There's no[ __] ribeye steak dinners.
52:30 Yeah, agreed.
52:30 You're having[ __] bread and butter and
52:33 I'd like to confirm freedom.
52:36 Yeah.
52:36 Yeah.
52:36 Secondhand[ __] steaks.
52:39 Yeah.
52:38 So I I So I trapped my dick in between two plates once.
52:43 __] So you know when you like the metal plates cuz you never go the
52:46 No.
52:46 Shut the[ __] up.
52:47 But when you put metal plates on in the gym and you you bang them together,
52:50 it's like a nice sound.
52:51 It's like it's like a little orgasm.
52:52 Like ding.
52:53 First question.
52:54 What What is your dick doing there?
52:56 Hang on a second.
52:57 Right.
52:57 So, I'm on the leg press and you're banging the weights
52:59 on and the and the weights are like sort of dick height.
53:02 Okay.
53:02 So, I'm banging them on and then I must have been distracted by a girl
53:06 or something and I slam this weight on thinking I'll impress this girl.
53:10 Bang.
53:10 No ding.
53:13 __] hell.
53:14 I was Yeah.
53:14 Put my hands down.
53:15 Put put it out this[ __] board everywhere, man.
53:19 I[ __] The amount you wouldn't believe how much you bleed out of your[ __] dick.
53:24 Really?
53:23 It was[ __] insane.
53:25 __] hell.
53:26 So yeah, that was that was the little story there.
53:28 I trapped my dick in between two plates.
53:29 It was And what how much blood did you lose?
53:34 15 liters.
53:35 __] hell.
53:36 From the cocky.
53:37 I nearly bled out.
53:38 __] I would have done mouth to mouth on that.
53:41 Yeah.
53:43 Mouth to tip.
53:44 I would I would have let you as well.
53:47 Not even let me just[ __] force.
53:52 Is it true that in your peak when you were doing the bodybuilding,
53:56 you was eating 10,000 calories a[ __] day?
53:58 More like 12?
54:00 Really?
54:00 12,000 calories?
54:01 __] hell.
54:02 How do you move after that?
54:03 What is 12,000 calories?
54:05 What is that in a day?
54:06 N it's a lot.
54:06 It's a lot.
54:07 Like I'd have two breakfast, two lunches, two dinners.
54:10 You'd have to eat a lot.
54:11 And then all the snacks in between.
54:12 Full English breakfast.
54:13 I'd have a second breakfast would be a porridge.
54:16 Snacks would be like flapjacks,[ __] bits of fruit, beef jerky.
54:20 uh lunch usually half a kilo of meat like chicken,
54:25 steak, whatever, pork chops, lamb chops, a kilo of pastoral rice,
54:31 200 gram of vegetables,
54:33 and then I'd always have a half a family cheesecake after my lunch, right?
54:39 Mid second lunch would be like, I don't know,
54:41 tuna sandwiches, flapjacks, energy drinks on the way to the gym.
54:44 Get to the gym.
54:45 Why I said train?
54:46 I'd eat raw meat steak.
54:47 Really?
54:48 Yeah.
54:48 I'd eat raw raw fillets.
54:50 I just got this concept in my head
54:52 that if you're eating pure protein whilst you're training,
54:54 you're absorbing it instantly.
54:55 So, I used to eat raw red meat whilst I trained.
54:58 You mad man.
54:59 I'd have um full fat full fat cream like you know the gold top cream milk.
55:03 I'd have that with my protein shakes whilst I trained.
55:06 Um come back and have an evening meal.
55:09 That would be like huge amounts like uh like like a huge curry or a spag bowl.
55:16 talking like a kilo of meat, kilo of carbs with a bit of veg,
55:20 and then and then I'd have the over over half of the family cheesecake.
55:25 Here's one.
55:26 Here's one I devoured earlier.
55:27 Yeah.
55:28 __] hell.
55:28 And I'd throw in like liters of ice
55:30 cream with protein shakes throughout the day, you know.
55:32 Um and you go for a swim or a run or Yeah, man.
55:35 I used to eat and this is the thing with strong
55:37 man because I'd train for four hours in the gym.
55:39 Yeah.
55:39 I would eat literally to the point of being sick and then I go
55:42 and train because and I had to do that because you you train for so long
55:48 you'd have to train on a full stomach because by the end of the four
55:50 hours you were just so depleted so you had to eat on a full stomach.
55:54 Train on full stomach.
55:54 Let me ask you this here cuz you said you started doing the strongman
55:57 and gym stuff as a that was almost your reaction to depression, right?
56:03 This is the way.
56:04 Is there was there ever a point where
56:06 in doing all of this it become depressing in itself?
56:09 No, it was definitely my savior.
56:11 Yeah.
56:11 Yeah, definitely.
56:11 It was like um scanning that much food on a daily basis, you know?
56:15 It was like right put it this way, right?
56:16 So I like my life was that[ __] miserable.
56:19 Genuinely was that miserable.
56:21 I hated my[ __] life.
56:22 I hated work.
56:23 I was a mechanic.
56:24 I[ __] hated it.
56:25 I[ __] hated having to struggle to pay my[ __] mortgage.
56:28 I hated I hated not not able to buy a[ __]
56:31 fancy cars and all that[ __] I[ __] hated my life.
56:35 So it was almost like the the the mission
56:38 of becoming the world's strongest man was my suicide.
56:41 Does that make sense?
56:42 I just didn't give a[ __] Like if I'm going to kill myself,
56:44 I'm going to kill myself.
56:45 If my dick's going to bleed out in the middle of the gym.
56:48 Yeah.
56:48 Let it Exactly.
56:49 If I'm going to kill myself, I'm going to kill myself doing something.
56:52 Yeah.
56:52 To win the lottery.
56:53 That's that's how I saw it.
56:54 If I can win the World's Strongest Man,
56:56 that will be the flick switch to get what I want out of life.
56:59 So, it was almost it was almost like a[ __][ __] or bust.
57:02 So, that was that was my suicide attempt.
57:04 Sounds stupid saying that.
57:06 My suicide attempt was trying to become the world's strongest man.
57:08 And then the day you're stood up there and they say,
57:11 "Right, you've won the World's Strongest Man, Brav." Yeah.
57:14 What did you do that night to celebrate?
57:15 __] man.
57:16 I[ __] um went out for a big steak dinner with Brian Shaw.
57:20 Yeah.
57:20 Family cheesecake.
57:22 Definitely Cheesecake involved.
57:24 Yeah, 100%.
57:27 Um, yeah, man.
57:28 It was um that was a huge emotional time for me because it was
57:32 it was like all that work cuz I've been training since I was 14 and I won it.
57:36 I was 29.
57:37 So, it's like 15 years 15 years of[ __]
57:40 really obsession obsession like no days off.
57:42 I miss sessions.
57:43 I wouldn't miss meals.
57:44 I wouldn't miss physio sessions.
57:45 Nothing and it was like a massive relief like I don't have to do that anymore,
57:49 you when I've sort of made it and uh it was like what next?
57:53 It was it was it was a real head[
57:55 __] because coming back from the World's Strongest Man,
57:58 sounds stupid to say this, but it almost put me immediately
58:01 put me back into depression because I had nothing to chase.
58:04 Nothing to do now, is it?
58:05 Nothing to stop[ __] laughing, you[ __] Such a[ __]
58:10 So, my life since then has been chasing
58:12 that that feeling of winning the World's Strongest Man again.
58:15 This is why I do the fighting, I guess, because it's
58:17 it's trying to find that that feeling of being handed that gold trophy again,
58:21 chasing something to to get that little bit of reward.
58:24 I I I I always explain like my addiction to success is like cocaine, right?
58:30 Okay.
58:31 That very first time you try cocaine, it's[ __] pure ecstasy that hit forever.
58:36 You are like punching through the[ __] clouds and meeting Jesus.
58:40 Yeah.
58:41 But you never get that feeling again.
58:42 You never that first time you take it.
58:45 You never get that same feeling.
58:46 And that's why people get addicted because they want to chase.
58:49 They want to get back to that same first
58:51 time like I want to go meet[ __] Jesus again.
58:54 And that's the same with my strong man and fight
58:56 career is like I want to[ __] meet Jesus again.
58:59 Uh Eddie, as an apology for wasting money on watermelons,
59:03 I did actually bring two watermelons.
59:05 Do you reckon you can crush this watermelon?
59:06 I'm weak at the minute, man.
59:07 A Don't be I'm[ __] weak.
59:11 __] hell.
59:12 No, I think the ones are right.
59:14 Yeah, that that's going to be a tough crush.
59:16 Don't think you got it.
59:17 I mean, if you ain't got it, we won't put it in.
59:23 Come on then.
59:25 World's strongest man.
59:25 Is that one weaker or what?
59:38 Also, these are like GMO watermelons.
59:39 You know what I mean?
59:40 __] hard, man.
59:41 What happens to being the world's strongest man, Eddie?
59:46 He's No, he's here.
59:47 Trust me.
59:48 This is uh What did I hit?
59:52 Did that break before it landed or what?
59:54 It did.
59:56 All right, people.
59:58 Thank you very much for tuning in to the greatest show on planet Earth.
