1:10 love eating a lot dud whenever my wife and I travel food is the main

1:13 thing on our minds dude straight up we've had a few meals in Italy

1:16 that have like brought tears to our eyes we were in Paris a few years

1:19 ago and I remember everybody is like you got to go to the lou oh

1:24 were just like um actually we lose some creme BR life but I don't

1:28 think I would call myself a foodie because cuz uh that's a little too Millennial

1:32 but I do love food a lot I I love cooking I love going to restaurants

1:36 I love trying new food eating is like one of the best parts of being

1:40 alive truly it's just such a special thing you know like food can bring back

1:43 old memories it can create new ones and people we've lost in our lives can

1:47 live on through their recipes and since

1:49 the beginning of time people have always enjoyed

1:52 entertainment along with their meals you know

1:53 think back to Medieval royalty eating a plate

1:56 of only turkey legs while a court jester named Ro the farter passes gas

2:01 in front of them to make them all laugh while they enjoy their dinner right

2:05 that was a real guy by the way I feel like that's important to say

3:01 kept separate from the food you were eating we weren't allowed to touch it right

3:04 that was a mutual understanding but for some

3:06 reason over the past few years YouTubers got the idea in their heads that they

3:10 could also provide you the food that you're

3:14 eating while you watch their videos I

3:16 assume they were like well we already got two senses with our video how about

3:20 we try to snag the other three

3:21 senses with some YouTuber food products beables mish

3:27 mash Mr Beast bger dough bricks Prime

3:30 joy ride CH snacks lunch Le Chamberlain coffee the list goes on the popularity

3:36 of YouTuber food products has absolutely exploded over

3:38 the past few years and there's actually

3:40 a few reasons for this that not everybody knows

3:43 and me being a YouTuber I would love to break down why so many YouTubers

3:46 are releasing food products reason number one

3:49 money obviously to be real for a second

3:51 nobody really knows how long their career is going to last on YouTube so you

3:55 kind of have to like strike while the iron is hot you know and you

3:59 got to diversify your portfolio right you

4:01 know increase the amount of revenue streams

4:03 you have so if one you know fails or like stops you have other ones

4:07 that you can rely on and creating a food product can be a good way

4:10 to do that especially if you partner

4:12 with an existing company who knows how to produce

4:14 everything and you also don't have to put up any Capital so yeah reason

4:17 number one is money and reason number

4:20 two doesn't exist all right it's just money

4:22 straight up YouTubers are only making these things

4:24 for money don't get me wrong that's

4:25 fine you can start a business to make money that's you know probably the number

4:29 one reason why people will start businesses I don't know everybody I don't know

4:32 the story behind everything so I don't want to make the claim that every single

4:35 one of these YouTubers aren't passionate about

4:38 the food products they're putting out but like

4:40 what the [ __ ] does the demilio family

4:42 know about popcorn you know what I mean

4:43 and I don't think Mr Beast the guy who only talks about money and all

4:48 of his content is about money created

4:51 Feasta bles because of his passion for chocolate

4:53 bars if he was really passionate about

4:55 chocolate bars he probably would have made

4:56 a chocolate bar that doesn't taste like dog

4:58 [ __ ] sorry I'm showing my hand already realistically

5:00 I can only assume that the overall plan with these YouTuber food products is

5:05 to leverage their existing audience to have

5:07 a leg up on the other products and then

5:09 you know slowly grow that brand and business over time so they can ultimately

5:13 sell it to [ __ ] Nestle in a few

5:15 years for millions of dollars and don't get me wrong half of me is

5:19 like really supportive of YouTubers creating their own

5:21 product disrupting industries that they're aligned with you

5:24 know creating a product that can live

5:26 on and provide for them and their families as they grow up and maybe move

5:30 away from you that's good that's all great but the cynical half of me is

5:34 like just make [ __ ] YouTube videos man

5:37 and that is hypocritical for me to say

5:39 because I don't only do YouTube I have merch that I sell I do standup

5:43 comedy that I sell tickets for and I make money from both of those which

5:46 is a contributing factor to why I

5:48 pursue both of those Endeavors personally the last

5:51 thing I would ever want to be responsible for as a YouTuber is what

5:56 my audience is putting in their bodies

5:58 for sustenance that is my nightmare dude that is

6:01 an insane amount of responsibility that I would not want to be burdened

6:04 with and it's just so funny cuz like

6:06 you know YouTubers never start making videos so

6:08 they could maybe one day make their own juice you know what I mean all

6:11 I'm saying is like I don't want the people that I watch on my phone

6:14 to have a little laugh at I don't want them in charge of what I'm

6:17 putting in my body I want a multi-billion dollar company in charge of what I'm

6:21 putting in my body there's no winning truly but call me crazy I don't think

6:25 a YouTuber needs their own chocolate bar

6:26 there's actually enough chocolate bars out there already

6:29 have you been to any gas station the only chocolate bar I would ever eat

6:31 from a YouTuber is if tande came out with one called Chocolate Rain okay I

6:35 buy all of them but regardless

6:37 of my personal bitter opinions about this YouTuber

6:40 food Trend there's clearly no sign of stopping it the food and drink space can

6:44 be one of the most lucrative markets to get into but it's also the most

6:47 competitive so I think the act of like attaching a celebrity or public figure

6:52 to a food product to set it apart and sort of jump start the sales

6:55 a little bit that's only going to get more popular and it's like a fun

6:58 thing I totally get it you eat the YouTube food product you go okay and then

7:01 you just go back to your regular diet but what if you couldn't go back

7:06 to your regular diet What would life be like if you were only allowed

9:41 my water talk videos it was impossible to find stuff because like Canada has

9:44 a little bit more rules and regulations around

9:48 what people put in their bodies and stuff

9:50 which is cringe so for the non-p perishable products I had to use a package

9:55 forwarding service in America that shipped it

9:56 to there and then they forwarded it to me

9:58 and then for the rest of it like the lunch leaves and stuff I actually

10:03 had to pay someone to drive to Michigan for me buy all this and then

10:07 drive all the way home so this was a lot of work just to get

10:09 these [ __ ] brightly colored Foods so

10:11 this is all the food I'm pretty much

10:12 going to be eating this week first up breakfast most important meal of the day

10:17 and uh this one was a little tricky I'll be honest at first I wanted

10:20 to order mish mash that cereal that uh Rett and Link made but it was

10:24 all sold out on their website and there's also like nowhere to find it anywhere

10:28 online dude I been texted link personally yeah I was number one asking if

10:32 I if he had any for me that I could just send me but even

10:34 he didn't have any so I couldn't find that but shout out to those guys

10:38 they're awesome I then tried ordering the best

10:40 cereal which was made by the siden

10:42 but it's only available in the UK so I had to do a little bit

10:44 more research to find a breakfast food it would be nice if there was just

10:47 like a famous chicken on YouTube that sold

10:50 all of its eggs but sadly that doesn't

10:52 exist I was going to order the JoJo seawash cereal there's a lot of unopened

10:56 boxes on eBay but a lot of those expir dates were 2022 and I

11:01 didn't want to do that to myself the last way that I would ever want

11:05 to die is by eating expired JoJo seawa cereal JoJo sea wheel that would suck

11:10 I'd get to heaven at the Pearly Gates you know and God would just be like

11:15 a [ __ ] okay ow so after doing

11:16 a little that hurt my [ __ ] head ow

11:18 so after doing a little bit more research I found a product from this YouTuber

16:16 of Frozen spicy chicken meals so I figured I would just have those but again

16:20 I the person I sent to go find all of this products they looked all

16:23 over and the only thing they could find was this hot ones Hot Pockets collab

16:27 the hot ones smoky green chili cheese

16:30 steak with reduced fat mozzarella cheese jalapeno peppers

16:33 cilantro and hot ones L calente verde

16:36 hot sauce and a crispy seasoned grass crispy

16:38 season not seasons and also I have that Jean that makes cilantro taste like soap

16:42 so that sucks balls for me it's going to be a [ __ ] weed this is what

16:45 I'm going to have for dinner every night for the next seven days I also

16:47 had a fun idea okay so hot ones right I ordered three of their sauces

16:53 okay because it is my probably actually one of my dreams one one day

16:56 is to be on hot ones Sean Evans if you're watching I've been a fan

17:00 since like the be season one bro come on okay but I got three sauces

17:04 I got the garlic Fresno which is the the knots too spicy one the Lost

17:09 cantes which is the middle one and then the last dab so I figured

17:11 I would put those hot sauces on the hot ones and then i' gradually increase

17:15 into the last dab on the final day you know just like my own hot

17:19 ones okay cuz you got to dress for the job you want not the hot

17:22 sauce you have and lastly which is not a lunch Le spin-off lastly let's go

17:26 through the the miscellaneous items the Beverages

17:29 and stuff so I got this pizy stuff

17:31 uh made by AR apparently you just like squeeze this onto food and it pizies

17:36 and it just makes it taste like pizza and I'm really curious to try this later

17:39 because I don't know if I believe it okay because you know if you put

17:42 ketchup on some it's going to taste like ketchup right if you put pizza sauce

17:44 on some it's going to taste like pizza but well we'll see I also

17:47 got some full-sized primee drinks that's going

17:49 to suck I've had one before sweetest thing

17:52 I've ever had I got some prime hydration packs so I can have my water

17:56 of the day right water talk it up I also got a bunch of Happy

17:59 Dad seltzers if I plan on getting drunk which I probably will why do they

18:03 sell alcohol this big almost a liter

18:06 bro get [ __ ] blackout after this one thing

18:07 so that's everything that I'll be eating

18:09 this week I figured you know I'm definitely

18:11 going to go more into detail and you know review these products as we go

18:14 and then I think I'll update all of you on how I'm feeling throughout

18:52 making this video but I just think it's super funny that out of all

18:56 of the YouTuber food products that I'm eating

18:58 this week There's Only one from an actual

19:04 actually makes sense for her to put

19:04 out it feels very natural I think she's really smart for doing this it

19:07 just feels a lot more genuine than Logan Paul being like hey I know I

19:11 just scamed all of you out of my nft project but can you please buy

19:16 this week I'm trying out these Chamberlain coffee bags I really like the colors

19:20 and The Branding and it seems like everything

19:22 was made from pretty highquality crap these definitely

19:24 seem like they're best if you're traveling

19:26 somewhere and don't have access to like

19:28 a real coffee machine because it was just

19:29 like making a cup of tea and that's the tea I poured in some hot

19:44 was up I went to the fridge to grab a can of nutcase to put

19:49 in my Chamberlain coffee on any other day I would usually put cream in my coffee

21:03 tasted fine tasted like [ __ ] coffee I

21:05 don't know I think the Chamberlain coffee bags they kind of taste like just

21:11 and for 10 coffee bags it cost around

21:14 $20 American so it's basically like $2 per single use bag which is a little

21:19 steep for making coffee at home

21:21 but for like traveling or camping especially the coffee

21:23 bags are worth it I think I've never gone camping and I never will

21:48 going to taste good or anything but I'm just excited to get it out

21:51 of my fridge because this box is huge it's freaking massive dude and I feel like

21:54 the whole appeal of Lunchables is like they're small they can fit into a lunch

21:58 box and stuff this is the size of a kid's backpack I feel you know

23:31 a kid the pizza ones used to come with a little red stick a red

23:35 flat stick and you could spread the sauce on really easy with it and I'm

23:39 really bummed that lunch Ley had the opportunity to do that and they didn't

26:23 The Branding of this candy reflects that really

26:25 well I was pretty skeptical of these because it says it has 80% less sugar

26:29 than regular sour strips and those are like my favorite candy I think I like

26:33 them so much cuz there is so much sugar on them so I was nervous

26:36 but I was actually pleasantly surprised

26:38 by these there's like a hint of that Health Food flavor in them but they taste

42:54 Le and he broke down a lot of the issues surrounding the messaging that they

42:57 used when they released lunch like how

42:58 they didn't list the sodium or saturated fat

43:01 levels on their website when they were

43:02 comparing it to Lunchables all they did was

43:04 say how many electrolytes was in the lunch

43:09 Le sodium getting rebranded as electrolytes will

43:10 be taught in marketing textbooks one day

43:13 he also pointed out that the portion size

43:15 between lunch Le and Lunchables they differ

43:17 quite a bit so comparing the nutritional values

43:20 isn't really fair because obviously the Lunchables

43:22 cheese and crackers which is 82 G is

43:25 going to have more calories than the lunch Le turkey Stacks which is only

43:30 72 G that's like if McDonald's was like our new healthy Burger is much better

43:35 for you than two burgers another interesting

43:36 thing Dr Mike brought up in his video is how lunch Ley always boasts about

43:40 how much healthier they are because they have

43:42 lower calories so 30 less calories 10 calories 230 calories but when you look

43:46 at the USDA caloric guidelines it says

43:48 that a children's lunch should contain around 625 calories

43:53 because kids need energy to function properly

43:55 in school and to stay active and calories can provide that energy but the turkey

44:01 Stacks only contain 230 calories so to reach

44:05 the recommended amount of calories a kid would need to eat like 2 and a half

44:09 of these things and if a kid did that he'd be ingesting 1,300 mg

44:12 of sodium which is like way over the recommended amount so overall I don't think

44:17 these people really give a [ __ ] about

44:18 kids eating healthy I'm sure they would like

44:20 kids to eat healthy but their product isn't going to do that and in terms

44:24 of taste let's go back to me for the final verdict they're just okay all

1:06:23 terrible but when you look back on them it's with much fun and you appreciate

1:06:57 meant to weigh myself before and after the challenge but I forg and so

1:07:01 this is just a personal feeling but I do actually think I gained a few pounds

1:07:06 during this challenge just based on how I feel and I weighed myself today

1:07:09 and I did not weigh this much a few weeks ago so I know that's not

1:07:14 concrete evidence that I gained weight from this diet but I do have a feeling

1:07:18 that all those spicy hot pockets did a number on my body uh especially

1:07:22 my stomach lining but as I said

1:07:24 several times throughout this video during the whole

1:07:26 week I felt bloated and uncomfortable I

1:07:28 had less energy I experienced more brain fog

1:07:30 my bowel movements were so infrequent

1:07:38 didn't really have any restful sleeps it's

1:07:40 like every day like my breakfast was normal

1:08:07 met before you can actually sell a food

1:08:09 product to the public but those guidelines

1:08:17 goes to show you that like starting a food business is not easy and it
